Operation theatre LED surgical lights
High quality lighting is essential to conduct operations. Appropriate lighting is important, especially in cases of difficult and complex surgical operations. Operation theatre LED surgical lights provide doctors with optimal viewing during the procedure. Operation theatre LED surgical lights or halogen lights are two types of surgical lights.
Hospital Door
Seal Swing and Automatic Sliding Door in hospitals are two different doors that serve different purposes. Seal Swing doors are typically used to prevent germs and other contaminants from entering a hospital or medical facility. They are designed to create an airtight seal when closed, which helps to keep the air clean and free of contamination.
Automatic Sliding Doors, on the other hand, are used to allow quick and easy access to the hospital while still providing a secure and safe environment. The doors are equipped with an automatic sensor that opens and closes the door as people enter and exit the hospital. Both Seal Swing and Automatic Sliding Doors are important components of a hospital's safety and security measures.
Pressure Relief Dampers
Pressure relief dampers are a type of safety device commonly used in hospital ventilation systems. They are designed to protect the system from high pressures caused by sudden changes in air pressure, such as when a door is opened. They are typically used on the exhaust side of the system, and can be either manual or automatic. When the pressure in the system exceeds the set point, the damper opens to release the excess pressure, preventing damage to the system and ensuring optimal air flow.

Warning -> fluff | reader gets a blister on their foot, genshin men notice and provide respite from the discomfort | pre-relationship (it's silly, and dumb, but let me have this)
Includes: Diluc, Xiao
Character X GN Reader (adventure guild reader*) | Anthology
Tumblr media
A-N: I was planning on writing for a few more characters, but I'm a bit slow in my genshin right now, plus I *should* be resting ... 人(_ _*)
Diluc
"Be right there!" you shouted over the calls echoing in the hall. Your hand dropped from your lips and back to the stack of rolled papers in your arms. The guild was busier than normal. Perhaps it was because of the snow fading from the streets, or the warmer wind blowing in from the south. Being surrounded by the lake meant damper and colder winters, but you didn't mind.
You loved the snow.
What you didn't love was returning to restrictive shoes now that the cobblestone streets were less barred by ice. You missed your warm fur-lined boots.
"Hey, got a few more requests for you to review," you told one of the auditors as you leaned onto the polished wood counter that separated you from the workers just inside. You tapped the toe of your shoe on the floor to force room between your heel and the leather rubbing against it. "Oh, and this came from Alfry." You reached into your pocket and handed a folded, sealed letter to the attendant.
After waiting for several minutes, and shifting from one foot to the other - relief waning and waxing - you made your way outside toward the Kiosk near the front of Mondstadt. It took a while, you were particularly slow on the stone steps of the city since each one put added pressure on your heels. You could feel a blister on the horizon.
Katheryne greeted you with a wave when she saw you.
She was, without a doubt, one of your favorite people. She didn't lock you in long, uninteresting conversations about her life outside of work. She just thanked you for the updated commissions and let you be on your way. You wished everyone was like Katheryne.
It wasn't that you hated talking to people. You just preferred to get your work done and found it distracting to get lost in small talk about the weather. But you learned to be pleasant and control your drifting eyes that willed your soul to be anywhere but there.
When you approached the Guild, someone called you over and explained you were being requested in one of the assessment rooms. A room used by evaluators and requestors to work out the details of a commission. You weren't an evaluator - so who could possibly be asking for you?
You imagined several scenarios except for this one. The one where Diluc Ragnvindr was standing on the other side of the door, waiting for - you. In fact, you were so unprepared, taken aback, that you rechecked the room number.
It was odd to see Diluc outside of his normal patterns. The man was routine. Days spent at Angels Share, days absent from the city while he tended to his estate at the Dawn Winery. You had several run-ins with him over the years since his reappearance, but they were always in public spaces. Fleeting, nervous moments when you'd gather the courage to ask him for a drink while he worked or make polite - short - conversation when he dropped it off. You didn't even know he knew you worked at the Adventurers Guild.
"Sir Ragnvindr, is something - how can I help you?" you asked as you stepped inside the room and let the heavy door close behind you.
"Have I pulled you away from your work?"
"Yes," you said but caught yourself, "No. I mean, yes, but it's alright. Are you alright?" The thought crossed your mind that perhaps something had happened. An issue at the Winery or the tavern, maybe he thought you were the best person to help him? Not sure why. But you did know a lot of adventurers.
"I am well. Please," he gestured to the table and chairs beside him. Crossing the room, you noticed a tall, decorative bag on the corner of the table. The top was knotted by someone with experience. Diluc placed his hand on the table, and you stopped a few feet from him. He looked -- odd. Out of sorts even.
"Did you need something from the Guild? I'm not sure if anyone told you, but I'm not an evaluator, but I can find someone who can assist you in building a commission report."
"I do not require one. I am ..." he clenched his jaw and fumbled. "Please, sit," he repeated, gesturing to the chair slightly pulled out beside you.
Confused, you took a seat.
You considered yourself a rational person, a relatively calm person. One that could keep their head in most situations, but when the man you could hardly look at long enough to breathe knelt in front of you, lifted your calf, and began to untie your shoe, you yelped so loud it startled him.
"Dilu- I mean, Sir Ragnvindr, what are you doing!?" You reached for his arm but pulled back at the last second. A war raged inside your mind - one billowing urge shouted to push him away so you could steady your fluttering heart, and the other shrieked, terrified of making contact out of fear he'd know the truths of your unsettled heart.
"These are uncomfortable, are they not?"
You glanced at your shoes. "I mean - yes, but you don't have to worry about it. Please," you begged, fingers hovering above his hand, body fighting the will to rip free from his grasp. "Sir Ragn-"
"Diluc," he interrupted and looked up at you, "I much prefer when you call me Diluc."
You didn't know how to respond, didn't know how to react, so you just sat frozen while he carefully removed your shoes and tended to the wounds they had caused.
His touch was warm. Violently warm. It was like heat seeped from every bit of him. Tendrils of flames licked across his brow, his cheeks, his jawline. You were so close you could smell the earth and trapped dust from the melting snow trapped in his clothes.
He placed the bandage across your foot and carefully wrapped it until it was secure.
"T-Thank you," you mumbled. You were stuck between being embarrassed by what was happening and being smitten by it. You were in a haze. Your eyes could barely focus on his hands as he worked, barely noticing the stick he placed beside your right foot. The medicine he applied had soothed the soft burn of the blister.
He stood and a wave of his scent washed over you. It took a moment for you to catch your breath, but when you did, you reached for your shoes that he had placed on the table.
"I'll repay you for the treatment."
"No need," he replied as he tugged at the decorative cloth bag. His back blocked you from what was inside. You worked on stretching the laces of your shoes so you could slip them over your foot. Just as you were about to place them on, Diluc returned and stalled your actions, taking the shoe from you and returning it to the table. He easily held your calf and slipped on another shoe. A flat, wide one that wouldn't rub against you the way your own had. "How does it fit?" he asked as he carefully slid it over your heel and adjusted it until it was on completely.
The shoe was elegant, beautiful. Something you would only dream of buying - most of your clothes were from sales and take-bins of neighbors doing their yearly cleaning. These were --
"Wait - did you buy these?"
"I did. But I was unaware of your size. If these are not satisfactory, I purchased several others which may be more suitable for you," he explained and that's when you noticed the stack of boxes now exposed from the cloth bag. Two boxes were placed to the side, another still in it, while the last was open, the lid placed at an angle as if forgotten.
"You bought," you paused, disbelief pulling in your brows, "multiple pairs?"
"It seemed better to purchase multiple than to guess. Though I could have inquired from you directly," he trailed off as if the thought had only just crossed his mind.
But only one crossed yours, "Why?"
He looked up at you, still kneeling and preparing your other foot to accept your new shoes' partner, "I notice you. You would be unable to work in this state."
"Noticed me?"
"Yes. Besides, I couldn't rightfully ... never mind."
"What," you blurted, hanging on his every word.
He glanced at you and then looked back at your feet. There was a pause, a heavy pause in the air. "To see you in discomfort. It - It did not sit well with me."
You sat in silence as he ensured the shoes fit, as he laced them, and made sure they wouldn't irritate the bandage. You held your tongue and swallowed the pounding pressure in your chest when he lifted you from the chair and made sure you could stand before he let go.
You breathed him in while he stood before you.
"I will be at Angel's Share tonight. I can set aside some time for you, should you find yourself-"
"Okay," you blurted again, followed it up with an embarrassed sorry. It made him laugh, and you snatch the lurching urge to jump on him.
"Until then," he hummed, a smile tugging at his lips. "Do not rush in the meantime. I have already given my recommendations to the guild to allow you rest, though I do not imagine you'll heed it."
Diluc packed up the bag and bid you farewell, lingering his voice on the sound of your name, his eyes on your warm face. He slipped out of the room and left you in disbelief in a pair of beautiful crimson shoes.

Xiao
Why did you decide to wear these shoes?
You thought at least twenty times as you trudged down the path. As you hiked over the mountain passes that had seen better days in their time. A giant bolder blocked you a few paces back and you were still brushing yourself off from the unprepared scramble; you found a tear in your clothes and groaned.
For an adventurer, you got off pretty lucky. Only taking the low-priced requests. Ones left for running between towns, helping clear out someone's back room, or helping with a shipment. You weren't interested in the daring adventures that some in the guild would take, snatch up before you even had a chance to read the whole thing. And you certainly weren't about to follow in the footsteps of that strange traveler who - for a while - was accused of killing the Liyue Archon. (You still had your suspicions).
Nope, you were complacent, content with the simple jobs that helped you keep the lights on and splurge on the things that caught your eye. One of which was currently on your feet and digging into the skin uncomfortably. You hopped on one foot and shoved your finger inside the edge of the shoe in the hopes of stretching out the tight leather.
The top of the path crept over the horizon and you picked up the pace to reach it. You adored cresting the hill and seeing the harbor stretch across the bay, how the tall mountainside loomed above her - a watchful guardian, a shield and protector. You sighed and adjusted the pack on your back. The road into the harbor wasn't long, but it was steep, and you prepared yourself for a rough descent with your aching feet.
Every step slowed you down. Each one more uncomfortable than the last. You thought about taking off your shoes but didn't want to catch the disapproving glares that came from Liyue's citizens. So, you pushed forward.
A plume of green and black smoke enveloped you. You would have shouted but you were used to the sensation and how it obscured your view. Months ago you stumbled upon the smoke's owner in a field. He seemed injured so you went to check on him only to learn he was fine, and rather unappreciative of your concern - actually, he was irritatingly annoyed that you had distracted him from his lay-about.
"Hello, little Xia--woah!" Instead of appearing near you like he had before, you were suddenly floating in the green smoke. It whipped through your hair, tugged at your loose clothes, and bit at your skin. You felt like you were falling, and then you were - into the arms of the Adeptus who normally kept his respectful distance from you.
When your eyes adjusted to the return of light, you twisted to look at him, one arm draped over his shoulders as if he had placed it there.
"What are you-?" The words caught in your throat. Confusion, surprise, and bashful bewilderment tickled your cheeks and stole your ability to speak. Your face was inches from him. Closer than it ever had been before.
"You're injured," he spoke softly, matter-of-factly, his eyes drifting to your feet. You could already see the broken skin around your heel.
"It's nothing. Just my shoes," you explained as you stared at your own feet as if that explanation meant anything to him.
"Hold on," he said as he held you to him and the two of you disappeared into a puff of ethereal phthalo.
--
Xiao placed you on the small stool you had left out on the balcony the night before. He was careful to not let you crash into it. His strength - despite his size - was easy to sense as he eased you onto it and waited for you to settle.
"Thanks," you hummed, stealing a peek at his eyes. Eyes the shade of ginkgo trees in fall, eyes that held eons of history and centuries of sadness. Xiao didn't speak much, but his searching and timid eyes quenched your thirst for his voice.
He lifted your leg and you covered your mouth to avoid making a noise. Before you could ask him a question, he withdrew into his haze and was gone. You sat motionless for only a few seconds, and contemplated entering your house as you, in a daze, took off your shoes but when you rose to leave, Xiao reappeared holding a small container.
"For your injury. It's important to - take care of yourself," he mumbled the last part of his sentence as he held the container out to you. Averting eyes, open fingers unmoving, waiting for you to take it.
Your fingertips brushed his skin. "Did you get this for me?" He crossed his arms and didn't answer but his actions still made your chest warm and lips pull into a giddy smile.
"Don't dally," he scolded and threw you a sharp stare, "Or you'll be left with a scar."
"Oh right." You nodded and uncapped the container. The salve held a potent medicinal scent. "You don't have to stay," you added, a little sad at the thought of him leaving but recognizing that he didn't enjoy the sights and sounds of the city. His avoidance one of the many secrets locked in the amber of his soul.
"I'll wait."
You opened your mouth to protest but he turned his back to you, crossed his arms. Watched, observed. Protective.
"Thank you, Xiao," you whispered and chuckled at the grunt that floated toward you from the Adeptus statue standing near the corner of your balcony.

𝙒𝙀𝙏 𝙎𝘼𝙉𝘿, 𝙈𝙊𝙎𝙎-𝘽𝙊𝙍𝙉. [WITH GHOSTFACE]
Tumblr media
so, i decided to spilt this request into two parts for the two suggested killers here if that’s okay - and you can find frank’s (the legion) part here - i hope this is okay >:D , i altered this one a little bit too @demonbitterbite
Submitted request - Can I request a dead by daylight reaction for Jake and Leon where the killer keeps chasing the reader and making suggestive comments. Then when killer has them on their shoulder they slap/hold the readers ass. For the request I’d like it with frank or ghost face if possible but I don’t really mind
warnings ;; flirting, explicit language possibly and embarrassment, possible descriptions of gore etc
by qtipcottonbuds 2022. do not repost.

𝗚𝗛𝗢𝗦𝗧𝗙𝗔𝗖𝗘 𝗫 𝗚𝗡!𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗗𝗘𝗥;
Coated in sand particles, just short of the Eyrie of Crows, Jake tries his best to bandage the wound across your lower abdomen, knowing the constant grating of the sand and debris embedded in the gash, had to be hell. You’d crumpled into your front the moment the attack had happened, and Jake grimaces at the recent memory - the shriek you’d let out was unnerving - at least if the Enitity had chosen a realm with a damper climate, it may’ve been easier to have braced the fall.
But, it wasn’t worth reflecting on what could’ve been - he needed to patch you up. You’d already been hooked twice, somehow constantly being targeted by the killer - it was awful. Jake wasn’t entirely sure whether the usage token of Obsession had been activated, but even so, it was never this intense.
As he finishes up tying the makeshift tourniquet into a tight knot, he panics, feeling the familiar thrum of the heartbeat nearby, reverberating in his skull.
Shit. Shit, shit, shit.
There wasn’t enough time.
You’re still wincing from each pull of your muscles as Jake heaves you from your spot, but, apologies could be said later - using his strength, he shoves you forward, a few meters ahead, into the doorway of the abandoned building.
“Go! Get to the gate, I’ll be right behind you!” he calls out, and you nod in return limping up the staircase.
Preparing himself mentally to take the blow, Jake turns on his heel, ready to shield and loop him around the nearby bookcases. It would be more than enough time for you to vault out across the opposite staircase closest to the exit case-
Yet, as he turns, he notices the killer disregarding him completely; bypassing where Jake had thrown the pallet down in a short lived attempt to stun them, heading up towards the opposite staircase to you; you, who was blindly limping straight towards them.
And Jake can visibly see the panic in your features, knowing there was no other route, other than to keep moving forward, dragging yourself with the aid of the banister to get to the vault point before Ghostface did.
He’s sure that the stitches hidden underneath the bandages were at their limit now, threaded with no proper surgical precision - something to hold the wound together for the meanwhile - but, with the constant pulling and contracting of your muscles, he stares on, fighting the urge to flinch at the way you gasp, so close, only to have your forearms yanked behind you, pinned; and your stomach being jerked into the splintered wood.
Fuck.
Crouching low, Jake slips into a nearby crevice close to the staircase, out of sight.
“That was a bit of a close one, toots.” And, from this angle, Jake can see how near the killer’s mask is pressed up against your earlobe, gloved hands firmly placed around your waist, and the pressure of his chest weighing on top of your back - keeping you securely bent over the banister, still weak from the previous assault.
“That guy, he patched you up nicely too; tell him I said thanks.”
Jake can’t hide his relief of you being caught before toppling over the banister, he’s had the pleasure of experiencing it one too many times. He’s learned though, to keep his wrists tucked to his chest - last time he wasn’t so lucky. But, all the meanwhile, he’s conflicted - why hadn’t the killer hauled you over his shoulder to be hooked; why was the killer stalling?
Watching on, Ghostface continues on, murmuring now, “Gotta be careful. Might not always be around to catch you like this. Huh. Considering our positioning… This would be a good spot for a quickie. You into roleplay? Maybe we could rehearse that routine of, “oh no, I think I might be stuck!” although… a window could be a better alternative. I’ll have a think on it, yeah? Of course with some knifeplay. I know you like it when I use this little, old thing.”
“Danny,” comes out as a hiss.
(Who, who was Danny?)
“Have I ever told you how much I like when you say my name. It’s real cute. Buuuuuut, maybe, can you say it with a bit more emphasis, drawn out, desperate even-”
“Shut up. Just be quiet. Please.”
“How about if you kiss me,” with a brief glance, Jake catches on to the way Ghostface tilts his face to the side, fingertips tapping across his chin, playful, before pointing to his masked lips, “...Right here, I might.”
“You might be quiet?”
“That is what I said, toots.”
A pause.
“Are you bribing me?”
“So, you’re considering kissing me? Cute. And me? Bribe you? What - How could I ever, I’m a good boy, very well behaved if I do say so myself. Especially today. I haven’t hooked you for the final time yet. I was gonna give you the hatch, toots. I ain’t that mean. It’s just a little exchange - a kiss on the… lips for me being quiet, whaddya say?”
Jake attempts to crane his head from behind the eroding staircase he’s positioned behind, with as much leverage he can without being spotted (and resulting in a potential nasty cramp), but he can hardly see the situation playing out - and opts to listen instead waiting for you both to enter his line of sight once more. It’s all he could work with for the time being.
He didn’t understand though, not fully anyway. Since when did Ghostface, or rather killers talk? Could all of them talk? Or was it a select few; and they had names? Human names?
As the dust settles with another creak from the floorboards above, Jake takes one more look, and almost feels guilty for being so nosey.
He observes the way you chastely kiss Ghostface on the plastic covering of his mask, the killer seemingly releasing his hold on you prior, your stomach not digging into the worn banister any longer.
And, he watches on, once more, at the way Ghostface visibly lights up, more jovial than before - and imitates the miming of a zip-lock across his lips.
Silence.
Maybe that was wishful thinking, Jake muses. It’s only a short few five minutes before the silence is filled once again. You spare the killer a stern glance.
“Oh, c’mon. Whaaaaat? You said to be silent and I was. What's the problem, sunshine?”
“Key word being ‘was.’ And, it was for five minutes. Five.”
“So, you’ve got a wrist watch on you somewhere? Listen, if you remember clearly; you didn’t give me a time limit. Did ya? Huh? And, you like it when I talk, ‘specially when I talk dirty. Y’know, when we were together the other night in the Blood Lodge-”
“And nothing had happened, at the said Blood Lodge-”
“You sure? Huh, toots, I sure don’t remember it that way. I recall you and me-”
Exhaling softly, whether in relief or exhaustion, Jake tunes out, rolling his shoulder and testing the limits.
You’ve left him with more questions than answers - that is if you manage to escape this realm first. For now, he’ll pretend this never happened. Nope. This was just a fever dream he’d just somehow found himself in.

I need to know all about farm clexa’s first time together. Was it planned ? Or spontaneous ? Who initiated it ? Where was it ? Outside in the back of clarke’s truck ? Or in lexa’s bedroom ? Were they both virgins ? I bet they were so fucking soft and awkward and happy
okay, okay, let me set the stage for you:
Lexa and Clarke have been dating for a few months now, still high on all the kissing and over the clothes touches they get to share now that the whole we're just very touchy best friends bullshit is gone. It's the summer after their senior year, the nights are wonderful and they spend most of their time sitting in the back of Clarke's truck, very much trespassing on the little abandoned farm that they've been day dreaming of owning together since they were little kids. There, under this planetree that they have very discreetly hung some fairy lights on, on the back of Clarke's truck filled with blankets and pillows and with Lexa's old radio playing is where they finally have their first time.
It's not planned, not really. They've been getting more adventurous when it comes to make out sessions, they've been exploring more with touches and Lexa has just recently gotten the boldness to sneak her hands under Clarke's tank top and palm her boobs while sitting on her lap. It's a any day now thing at this point but although their fingers have gotten close to it and Lexa managed to cum once by basically humping Clarke's thigh, it just hasn't felt like the time yet. But as they were driving there, singing out loud to whatever song the radio played, Clarke's hand on Lexa's thigh feeling just a little heavier than usual, the slightly tension in the air, it was almost implied that if neither stopped it, tonight was the night.
Neither are particularly virginal really. Clarke has had sex before - granted it was with a guy and she didn't do much at all before the ten minutes or so it lasted were up so it's not like it gave her much experience. Lexa insists she's a virgin, because while she technically fooled around with Costia "over the clothes and only with applied pressure isn't sex!". Clarke says she's a spicy virgin 🌶️😇 which Lexa doesn't appreciate :p. And its the spicy virgin that initiates things. Clarke tends to let Lexa take the lead in intimacy at the start of their relationship. She's eager, very very eager to have sex with Lexa, but she doesn't want to push her to do anything, so she waits for Lexa to move Clarke's hand under her shirt, for her to sit on her lap or to tap Clarke's head, telling her she can go ahead and kiss her neck. And then when Lexa decides she just wants to cuddle, Clarke will follow her, even if it means running to the bathroom when Lexa falls asleep just to relief herself.
But this time it feels like the right time. The right place. They bump noses and a nail will pinch skin, they can't quite get the right rhythm and angle in the position they are in, Lexa's leg cramps and Clarke's jaw hurts from having her tongue sticking out for so long (and they find out Lexa's a very easy squirter, shocking Clarke rather pleasantly while Lexa hides her face in embarrassment), the hot weather just makes their bodies damper and they have to swat away the occasional bug that's attracted by the lights; Lexa has to try and reach the radio to turn it off while she's two fingers deep in Clarke, the romantic slow songs having turned into some weird late light commercials that have then both chuckling but they don't care.
Clarke cries - she's a big crier by nature, Lexa is shocked it didn't happen earlier. She cries as she kneel between Lexa's legs, watching come down from her bliss, looking up at Clarke with big starry eyes and a droopy smile. She cries harder when Lexa opens her arms and let's Clarke fall on top of her and bury her face in the crook of her neck while Lexa smothers any skin she can reach with kisses, tangling her hands in Clarke's hair and wrapping her legs around her waist.
She actually nearly proposed right then and there. Lexa looks beautiful, her naked and sweaty body reflecting the moonlight and the fairy lights above them and she just looks like home. For the both of them, everything about it - the place, the sounds, the person in front of them: that's home :')

The condenser coils
The evaporator coil is filled with coolant or refrigerant, which changes from liquid to gas as it absorbs heat from the air. The substance is then pumped through another coil to the outside of the building, where it cools and returns to liquid form. Therefore, this external coil is properly called a condenser.
There is a pump, called the compressor, that moves the coolant between the two coils and changes the pressure of the coolant to make sure everything evaporates and condenses in the appropriate coils. The motor that drives the compressor uses all the energy needed to perform this task, and the system typically provides three times the cooling energy that the compressor uses. This is due to the change in state of the coolant from liquid to gas, allowing more energy to move than is used by the compressor. Contact AC repair and service in Chennai!
With that in mind, there are some signs of AC breakdown-
There’s refrigerant leakage
If you notice that your air conditioner is taking longer than usual to cool your living space, there may be a refrigerant leak.
Your Air Conditioner is non-responding to the Thermostat.
The cooling ability of your air conditioning unit can also be affected by poorly placed sensors. When the sensor comes into contact with the evaporator coil inside the AC unit, it can affect the performance of your air conditioner unit.
At times, warm air comes out from the air conditioner.
In the summer, hot air coming from the air conditioner indicates that the system may be having serious problems.
There is no airflow and the system struggles to run.
Another problem is when you feel like your device is not letting out air or has very little air. This could be due to a problem with the fan or a clogged duct.
SAI AC SERVICE, a top-notch AC repair and service in Chennai provides high standard of AC repair and maintenance services. If your central air conditioner needs repair or your residential air conditioner isn't working, our team can help. The company repairs air conditioners 24/7 for homes, offices, and businesses.

Plumbing Service Group in Overland Park KS
When your home plumbing starts acting up, you need a plumber who is licensed and trained to deal with the issue promptly. Clogged drains, leaking faucets and other unexpected household issues can throw your daily routine out of sync. It is important to balance work quality and cost when choosing a plumber.
Clogged Drains
Nothing puts a damper on a night of cooking or turns your morning shower into a tepid affair like a clogged drain. It’s one of the most common plumbing problems in houses, and it can lead to serious damage if not addressed promptly.
When soap scum, hair, sand and other debris settle inside the long drain pipe and become thick, it can be difficult to unclog the line. If a plunger is ineffective, it’s often time to bring in the big guns: a wire drain snake.
Find one at a local hardware store and crank away until you see the clog dissolving. You can also use a combination of baking soda and vinegar, or boiling water. If these methods don’t work, call in a plumber to remove the clog manually using a power auger. A plumber with experience in your area will be familiar with the water supply and sewer system, so they’ll know how to approach the job more quickly and efficiently.
Leaking Faucets
Leaving leaky faucets unattended can waste gallons of water and lead to corroded piping connections. It also creates an environment where mold can grow and cause health issues for you and your family. Leaky faucets should be repaired as soon as possible to minimize damage and reduce water bills.
Start by shutting off the water supply to the faucet. You’ll need to do this for all types of faucets unless you are replacing an outdoor fixture that does not use a valve. Next, remove the handle and look for an Allen screw underneath to loosen it. You may need to use a spanner tool that is typically included in the repair kit to tighten the adjusting ring.
Before you begin removing the faucet parts, duct tape the jaws of your slip-joint pliers to prevent damage to them. It is also a good idea to label or take pictures of the parts you’re taking apart so that you can put them back together in the correct order.
Water Heater Repairs
When your home's water heater is leaking, you need to hire a plumber as soon as possible. If you wait too long, the damage can become worse. Professional plumbers are trained to identify the source of leaks and fix them before they become more serious. They are also familiar with local plumbing codes and regulations, which can save you from future problems and fines.
A professional plumbing service group Overland Park KS are made of Grade A PEX or another material that won't develop leaks or get clogged with lime deposits. They can also install a pressure relief valve to protect your pipes from high water pressure that could damage them.
A professional plumber can also help you with your plumbing inspections, which are recommended annually to prevent leaks, clogs, and other problems. They will also repair any fixtures that are worn or damaged. They can also help you choose the right type of water filter for your home's water supply.
Toilet Repairs
When your toilets are acting up, you’ll want a plumber that can provide prompt repairs. Plumbers are trained to find the source of clogs and stop them before they cause serious damage or flood your home. Toilet problems can include leaks, gurgling sounds, or water constantly running from the tank. Licensed plumbers can also perform a full inspection of your plumbing system and find any issues that need to be addressed.
Local plumbers will be familiar with the area and can respond to your needs more quickly than a plumber from out of town. They’ll also know the local codes and regulations and will ensure that all work is up to code.
You can help keep your plumbing working properly by being careful about what you put down the drains. Avoid flushing things like paper towels, wet wipes, kitty litter, or cooking oil down your toilets. Regularly cleaning your drains can also help prevent clogs.

Conditions Treated by Chiropractors
Hello, dear readers! We are pleased to have you join us for this week’s installment of our educational blog. My name is Dr. Jonathan Ruben Goins, and I’m a well-known chiropractor who also takes great pride in being the owner of Atlas Chiropractic Clinics in the Philippines. In today’s lesson, we will explore the many different conditions that chiropractors are able to successfully treat.
Treatment with chiropractic manipulation is effective for a variety of conditions, including headaches, lower back pain, sore muscles, neck pain, and even some sports injuries.
Tumblr media
If you are looking for relief from back pain, neck pain, sciatica, migraines, sports injuries, carpal tunnel syndrome, whiplash, herniated discs, arthritis, or scoliosis, you may find it through chiropractic care. Let’s take a closer look at each of these conditions, as well as the role that chiropractic plays in treating them.
Back Pain
People of all ages frequently complain of experiencing discomfort in their backs. Chiropractors are medical professionals who specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of back pain therapy, which is frequently brought on by incorrect posture, muscle strains, or vertebral misalignments. Adjustments to the spine can help restore proper alignment, which in turn relieves pressure on nerves, reduces inflammation, and promotes natural healing. Chiropractors perform these adjustments.
Neck Pain
Poor ergonomics, whiplash injuries, and long periods of time spent hunched over electronic devices can all contribute to neck pain. Adjustments performed by a chiropractor are intended to alleviate tension in the muscles, improve joint mobility, and correct misalignments in the neck. Chiropractic treatment can help alleviate neck pain and restore range of motion by targeting the underlying cause of the discomfort.
Sciatica
Pain that travels along the path of the sciatic nerve is referred to as sciatica. This type of pain is typically brought on by an irritated or compressed nerve in the lower back. The discomfort associated with sciatica can be alleviated by chiropractors through a combination of spinal adjustments, stretches, and exercises designed for rehabilitation. Chiropractic care can be effective in relieving symptoms and improving overall spinal health because it focuses on treating the underlying cause of the problem.
Migraines
Migraines can be incapacitating, which can negatively impact a person’s quality of life. The connection that exists between the spine and the nervous system is the primary focus of chiropractic care. Chiropractic care can provide migraine sufferers with much-needed relief by helping to reduce the frequency, intensity, and duration of their migraine attacks. This is accomplished by correcting spinal misalignments, particularly in the upper neck region.
Sports Injuries
Injuries sustained while participating in sports have the potential to put a damper on an active lifestyle. This is true whether you compete professionally or just on the weekends. Chiropractors are trained to treat a wide variety of sports injuries, including tendonitis, tendon strains, joint pain, and sprains and strains. Chiropractic care can facilitate the healing process and improve an athlete’s overall performance by utilizing a variety of treatment modalities, including spinal adjustments, soft tissue therapy, and rehabilitation exercises.
Carpal Tunnel Syndrome
Numbness, tingling, and weakness in the hand and arm are classic symptoms of carpal tunnel syndrome, a condition that affects a significant portion of the population. Chiropractors use very gentle manipulations of the affected area in order to release the pressure that was putting stress on the median nerve. In addition, they may suggest certain exercises and modifications to your ergonomic setup in order to alleviate your symptoms and improve the function of your hand and wrist.
Whiplash
Injuries to the neck that are commonly caused by whiplash include those sustained in car accidents, sports collisions, or sudden impacts. Chiropractic treatment is an essential component of the recovery process for whiplash injuries. Chiropractors are able to alleviate pain, restore range of motion, and expedite the body’s natural healing process through the use of specific adjustments, soft tissue therapy, and rehabilitation exercises.
Herniated Discs
A herniated disc is when the soft, gel-like center of a spinal disc pushes through a tear in the outer layer and into the spinal canal. This can cause severe back pain. Chiropractors make use of a wide variety of treatment methods, such as spinal adjustments, spinal decompression, and therapeutic exercises, in order to alleviate pain, reduce pressure on the nerves that are affected, and speed up the healing process of discs.
Arthritis
Arthritis is a degenerative joint disease that causes painful swelling and inflammation of the joints. Even though chiropractic treatment cannot cure arthritis, it can help manage the pain and other symptoms associated with the condition. Adjustments that are not too forceful are used by chiropractors to increase joint mobility, decrease joint inflammation, and improve the health of the muscles and bones throughout the body. Chiropractic treatment aims to improve the patient’s quality of life by enhancing the body’s ability to cope with arthritis and by addressing the underlying biomechanical imbalances that contribute to the condition.
Scoliosis
A condition known as scoliosis is one in which the spine curves abnormally in one or both directions. By providing patients with non-invasive treatment options, chiropractors play an important part in the management of scoliosis. Chiropractic care can assist in the reduction of spinal curvature, the improvement of posture, and the alleviation of associated symptoms such as pain and muscle tension. This is accomplished through the use of specific spinal adjustments, postural exercises, and other corrective techniques.
Conclusion
As we come to the end of our conversation on the many conditions that chiropractors treat, it is essential to highlight the fact that chiropractic care is an approach that is not only safe but also effective because it focuses on the body’s natural capacity to heal itself. Chiropractic care may provide a holistic and non-drug treatment option for a variety of conditions, including back pain, neck pain, sciatica, migraines, sports injuries, carpal tunnel syndrome, whiplash, herniated discs, arthritis, and scoliosis. If you suffer from any of these conditions, consult a chiropractor.
Keep in mind that every patient is different, and treatment plans will be customized to meet the requirements of each individual patient. I strongly recommend consulting a chiropractor if you or anyone you know is experiencing any of these conditions, as they can all be helped by chiropractic treatment. At Atlas Chiropractic Clinics, our team of committed professionals is here to provide you with individualized treatment and support as you make strides toward reaching your full potential in terms of health and well-being.
I want to say thank you for reading my blog post this week. I sincerely hope that you found this information to be useful and enlightening. Keep an eye out for even more riveting discussions in the weeks to come. I hope you live a life free from suffering and full of good health!

Design Considerations for Fire Tube Boilers
When it comes to designing fire tube boilers, there are several considerations that need to be taken into account in order to ensure that the boiler is both safe and efficient. In this article, we will discuss some of the key design considerations for fire tube boiler.
Tube Layout
One of the most important considerations when designing a fire tube boiler is the layout of the tubes. The tubes should be arranged in a way that allows for efficient heat transfer while still ensuring that the boiler is easy to maintain and repair.
It is important to ensure that the tubes are evenly spaced and that there is enough room for proper air flow. In addition, the tubes should be arranged in a way that allows for easy access to the furnace and other components.
Tumblr media
Material Selection
Another important design consideration for fire tube boilers is the selection of materials. The materials used for the tubes, the shell, and other components should be chosen based on their ability to withstand high temperatures and pressure.
Common materials used for fire tube boilers include carbon steel, stainless steel, and cast iron. It is important to select materials that are durable, corrosion-resistant, and able to withstand the demands of the application.
Safety Considerations
Safety is always a top priority when designing any type of boiler, and fire tube boilers are no exception. There are several safety considerations that need to be taken into account when designing a fire tube boiler.
One of the most important safety features is the pressure relief valve. This valve is designed to relieve excess pressure in the boiler in the event of a malfunction or other issue. Other safety features include low water cut-off switches and flame safeguard controls.
Tumblr media
Combustion Air Supply
Efficient combustion is essential for ensuring the performance and efficiency of a fire tube boiler. One of the key considerations in achieving efficient combustion is ensuring an adequate supply of air.
The combustion air supply should be designed in such a way that it provides the right amount of air to the combustion chamber. This can be achieved through the use of air ducts, dampers, and other components.
Overall Design
The overall design of the fire tube boiler is also an important consideration. The boiler should be designed in such a way that it is easy to install, operate, and maintain.
The design should also take into account factors such as space limitations, fuel availability, and environmental concerns. A well-designed fire tube boiler will be able to provide reliable and efficient performance over its lifespan.
Conclusion
Designing a fire tube boiler requires careful consideration of several key factors. These include tube layout, material selection, safety considerations, combustion air supply, and overall design.
By taking these factors into account, designers can create boilers that are both safe and efficient, and that provide reliable performance over the long term.

Dimon Forecasts Recession in 2023
LOS ANGELES (OnlineColumnist.com), Oct 10, 2022.--Ringing a loud bell on Wall Street, 66-year-old JPMorgan CEO Jamie Dimon said the U.S. economy is heading to recession in 2023, saying it was “very, very serious,” citing the current runaway inflation, high interest rates and the Russian War in Ukraine.  Dimon runs a $128,296 billion enterprise, hoping to prevent revenues from shrinking in 2023.  But the 66-year-old CEO, considered the most savvy executive on Wall Street, raises urgent questions about 79-year-old President Joe Biden’s management of the economy.  Dimon cites runaway inflation, high interests rates and the Ukraine War as the biggest drivers of the impending recession.  But Dimon knows beyond any doubt that Biden’s proxy war in Ukraine drives global markets into the worst inflation in over 40 years, devaluing the Euro and British pound Sterling to the lowest point on record, all to prosecute his Ukraine proxy war.
Dimon didn’t pull any punches blaming today’s the economy on Biden’s abysmal decision-making.”These are very, very serious things which are likely to push the U.S. and world—I mean, Europe is already in recession—and they’re likely to put the U.S. in some kind of recession six-to-nine months from now,” Dimon told CNBC’s Juliana Tetelbaum in London.  When it comes to Q3 Groos domestic product, it’s possible the U.S. economy ekes out a 2% gain, essentially remaining flat.  Biden’s pandemic relief, infrastructure and recent Inflation Reduction bills have put trillions on the Federal Reserve Board’s balance sheet, now exceeding $31 trillion.  U.S. federal budget deficits are now expected to run over $2.2 trillion in 2022.  Dimon thinks the Fed didn’t act fast enough to stop the runaway inflation, now hiking interest rates, driving the U.S. economy into recession in 2023.
Whether the GDP turns negative in 2023, it’s already flat, signaling that the Fed’s rate hikes have already slowed the overheated economy.  “But you can’t talk about the economy without talking about stuff in the future—and this is serious stuff,” Dimon said, heading the U.S. largest bank.  Dimon parallels his thinking to 56-year-old Mohamed El-Erian, Allianz SE chief financial officer and President of Cambridge University.  El-Erian sees the U.S. and EU falling into stagflation, the stubborn period in the early 80s where inflation continued to punish ordinary consumers in slow economic growth.  Dimon criticized the Fed for acting slowly on inflationary pressure, reaching a crescendo when Biden started his proxy war against he Russian Federation.  Once Biden boycotted Russian oil and EU allies went along with it, it drove widespread shortages and skyrocketing energy prices.
Whatever Biden’s pandemic and post-pandemic spending, the Russian oil boycott drove a massive inflation in energy markets, driving the cost of goods up to near record levels.  Keeping the war going for the last seven months offers financial markets no reassurance, especially after Biden’s Oct. 6 remarks about Armageddon.  Financial markets don’t like uncertainty, especially with the U.S. fighting a proxy war with Ukrainian troops against the Russian Federation.  “From here let’s all wish [Fed Chairman Jerome Powell] success and keep our fingers crossed that they managed to slow down the economy enough so that whatever it is, is mild—and it is possible,” Dimon said. But Dimon knows that if the Ukraine War rages on, it’s going to fuel inflation and drag the economy into recession.  Powell admits he has no control of geopolitical events that drag down the economy.
U.S. consumers, accounting fro two-thirds of U.S. GDP, can’t take the high gas prices too long without belt-tightening, something already happening. Dimon said nothing about the nationwide real estate slowdown where high mortgage rates have put a damper on residential real estate sales.  With many real estate owners using Home Equity Lines of Credit, it just a matter of time before the spigot runs dry.  Real estate slow downs often fuel recessions, something inevitable if interest rates continue to rise.  “It can go from very mild to quite hard and a lot will be reliant on what happens with the war,” Dimon said, sending a loud message to Biden to wrap up the Ukraine conflict or continue to drive the U.S. economy into recession.  Biden has so far shown no willingness to consider the Ukraine War as a drag on the U.S. and world economies, pushing global markets into recession.
Dimon has raised the red flag for all to see that Biden’s proxy war against the Russian Federation is driving the U.S. and EU into recession.  Fed Chairman Jerome Powell can only do so much when geopolitical factors continue to drag down the economy.  Raising interests rates more, Powell hopes to slow down runaway inflation but doesn’t know whether he can orchestrate a “soft landing.”  Dimon predicted that the S&P could drop an ”another easy 20%,” and that “the next 20% would be much more painful that the firs,” Dimon said.  If stock markets continue to meltdown, it’s going for force corporations to start laying off employees, a more typical sign of recession.  So far the unemployment rate remains at historic lows of 3.5%, the inflation pushed the Fed to continue ratcheting up interest rates.  Dimon put his finger on the big question of how much longer Biden battles Putin.

the purge: society
Tumblr media
pairing: firefighter!san x reader
genre: purge au, angst, some fluff
warnings: mentions of violence (especially violence against cops), murder, blood, injury, weapons (guns, knives, metal baseball bats)
word count: 2.4k
note: this was originally meant to be a drabble and it’s still pretty short so i didn’t get to elaborate on the characters but honestly maybe i’ll explore a purge universe with ateez someday because this was fun (i’ve never watched any of the movies though so i’ll have to get on that)
“What the fuck?”
He hadn’t expected to see anyone left alive on this street.
“Shut up and get down,” You hiss, reaching your good arm up to grab onto the man’s jacket collar before unceremoniously pulling him towards you. He stumbles, falling gracelessly onto you. A scream bubbles up in your throat as he accidentally puts pressure onto your already free-bleeding bicep, but you get ahold of yourself just in time, only letting the quietest of wounded moans escape you.
“You’re the first person that hasn’t tried to kill me before talking to me all night - oh, shit,” The stranger trails off, swearing when you effectively stop him from speaking further by placing your switchblade right under his skin. It’s only then that he even pauses to take you in: your back is up by the police car door, sure, and your left arm has a massive gash in it, but you’re armed. There’s a pistol laying idly in your lap, kept company by a metal baseball bat.
Not to mention, the knife at his neck.
“What the hell are you doing, walking around unarmed and with a first aid kit? Also, how the hell are you unarmed and with just a first aid kit? What the fuck?” You let the questions out in a rapidfire fashion, and he can’t help but clock the slight rasp in your voice. It’s easier to recognize than the pained wheeze you’re trying very, very hard to suppress, but neither escape him. He’s trained to notice the little things, anyways.
“You need to bandage that shit up,” The man ignores your questions, moving his head just enough to miss your blade but also enough to be able to look you in the eyes. “How long has it been bleeding?”
“That’s none of your business,” You grit out. “Answer my questions or I’ll kill you right here and now.”
“If I answer yours, will you answer mine?” For some reason, he doesn’t seem to be panicking just yet. His gaze is sincere, but it’s too solid to be that of a bona fide idiot. You suck in a breath of air. Threatening him would be so much easier if he didn’t seem like a nice guy. It’s hard enough to live through the night, you don’t need guilt on your hands, and you know you’re going to feel guilty when you kill him. And you will kill him.
You need that first aid kit. You’ll do anything for it.
Anything, starting off with lying.
“Sure,” You reply, steeling yourself for any sudden movements he might make now that you’re faking amicability. Maybe he’ll believe you to be vulnerable and try for your pistol or your bat, or maybe he’ll be properly cruel and finish off your arm. You don’t want to think about it. He lets out a sigh of relief, and you can’t help but wonder if you’ve actually affected him after all. “Now speak.”
“Not unarmed, there’s a police-issue pistol in my jacket and a tactical knife in my jeans. I’m not totally nuts. First aid kit’s for my buddy, though, I’ll be real, you need it way more than him.” There’s something resembling concern in his expression as his eyes flit between your torn arm and your face, but that barely interests you. You haven’t truly registered anything after ‘police-issue’.
You lean in, pressing the edge of your knife against the skin directly above his adam’s apple. For the first time since you’d cornered him, your mystery purger’s breath hitches. His eyebrows draw together in confusion. It’s no matter. You no longer regret the fact that you’ll have to tear his jugular out yourself.
“You’re a hog, huh,” You stare him down, any sympathy you might’ve had gone. For a moment, it seems as if he has no concept of what you’re saying. A second passes, though, and his gaze clears.
“Firefighter,” He responds, though the word is garbled due to him attempting to keep his movements to a minimum. You pull back slightly, very slightly, to let him explain. “I… found a dead cop, jacked his pistol. I’ll show you my ID, if you want.”
“Let me see it.” You nod your head at him as if giving him permission to live a little longer, though you both know full well that identity theft and identity fabrication are legal, too. Might as well see how much effort he puts into a fake. The man waits until you pull back just a bit more, enough to let him slowly reach his hand into his back pocket before producing a lanyard.
You grab it out of his grip with your hurt arm, not willing to move your knife too far away from his throat. You simply don’t have a good enough read on - you glance down - San Choi, ACT Firefighter, Employee ID: 018-102-4 to allow yourself any leeway with him.
His gently smiling face stares up at you from the plastic card, protected only by a clear sleeve connected to a red lanyard. San’s photo has black hair and an undercut, styled so his forehead is on display. A pair of dimples makes a guest appearance, and, overall, he seems like a genuinely sweet guy. The ID looks real, too, so maybe you aren’t totally fucked.
The San under your knife has bleach blond hair that almost falls over his eyes, though you suppose you can’t blame him for skipping out on the hair product tonight. He seems slightly tanner than his photo, his skin beautiful even now as dust from the aftermath of the explosion starts to settle against it.
Right. The explosion.
Recalling the events leading up to you meeting San forces you to remember that you have a gaping, bloody gash in your left arm. You’re honestly lucky to be alive, having ducked and used the car you’re against for cover from flying debris after a building down the block had exploded. You’d just finished driving your knife into a cop’s side - third cop of the night, eighth of your career as a purge cop killer - to make sure that he was dead when you’d heard the bomb go off, and you’d dropped before even thinking about it. Something had hit your arm on the way down, and when the adrenaline had finally left your system, you’d taken note of your blood-soaked sleeve.
You’d closed the car door after that, sealing your third murder of the night in the vehicle just so you could lean up against the door. It had been 6:31 in the morning then, and you had figured that someone would come by and kill you in the last moments before legality ensued again. You’d assumed that you’d fight, of course you would, but your arm being totally fucked definitely put a damper on your belief in your ability to overcome anyone or anything else.
Instead of the disgruntled, trigger-happy purger you’d expected to eventually find, though, you’d been found by San Choi. San Choi, who’s currently staring at your wounded arm like it’s grown eyes and can stare back.
“Come on, let me fix it up,” He pleads, lifting the kit up with the hand that’s farther from you. “You might not trust me, or whatever, but the purge is about to end as it is. I have a paramedic friend, Seonghwa, who’s taught me the basics of -”
“Shut the fuck up.” You tell him, though you’re quickly losing your bite. He obeys regardless. God, your arm really, really fucking hurts. Before pulling your knife back, you check the watch on your wrist. 6:47. Stay alive for 13 more minutes, 780 more seconds. You’ll be fine. You take the shakiest breath you’ve ever taken.
You pull your knife away from him.
Nothing happens.
“I’m going to use an alcohol free wipe and then wrap gauze around your arm, okay? You’ll just have to hold out until we can get you to a working hospital after that,” San speaks as if he’s talking to a child, or a scared animal, and you can’t blame him. He doesn’t seem like a purger, but you technically are one. You wouldn’t put it past yourself to attack on a whim if you were him. He, very slowly and with his hands in your full view at all times, opens the kit and pulls out the requisite materials.
“Gonna need you to rip your sleeve off above the cut.” He continues, leaning back as you bring your knife up to your clothes and slit the cloth right above your wound. You tear the remainder of the sleeve off your arm before throwing it behind you somewhere. San gently grabs ahold of your elbow - his palm is calloused in a way that tells you he lifts regularly, and you’re sure of this as he discards his jacket and you watch the muscles ripple in his arms under his thin black shirt - and places the wipe against your cut.
Your reaction is instantaneous: now that you’re completely past the adrenaline stage, the feeling of something, anything against the gash has you reeling to cry out. Before you can even process that you’ve made a sound, a hand presses hard against the back of your head, shoving your mouth against San’s.
He doesn’t know how else to shut you up.
His lips are chapped, but the sensation of being kissed so suddenly jars you out of your pain. San attempts to pull back, and you can already feel the apologetic wince he’s about to give you, but he brushes over your wound with the wipe again and your pain doubles back. It’s you that pulls him in this time, pressing your lips to his sloppily but forcefully as if it’ll alleviate the burn in your arm.
Kissing him only slightly muffles you at best, but you no longer care. The purge isn’t over yet. You could both die at any second. Hell, San could kill you at any second. His hand moves from the back of your head to cup your face as he leans in towards you to deepen the kiss. His lips are chapped, yes, but they’re soft. He tastes like mint and copper: there’s a cut in his lower lip. You don’t mind.
San pulls away for a moment, but only does so to grab the gauze from the kit. Once he’s wrapped it around your arm once, twice, thrice, he leans back in and your mouth accepts his own eagerly, your other hand coming up to drape over his shoulder. Neither of you know why you’re doing this, kissing a stranger with such fervor as one of you bandages the other up, but you both know that there’s really nothing else to do.
It’s only after he finishes taping you up that the two of you pull away fully. His eyes are still just as kind as you’d thought them to be at first, though his lips are far more swollen than they’d been mere minutes prior. You admire your handiwork, eyes tracing his features as he admires his own, thumb very, very gently running over your gauze. Both of you raise your heads to smile sheepishly at each other at the exact same time.
Three things happen in rapid succession.
“Good?” San’s voice is barely above a whisper, a smirk tugging at the corner of his mouth. Just as you’re about to speak -
“San!” A voice, low and hoarse, interrupts you, and you look up to see the barrel of a gun pointed directly at the space between your eyes. You’re frozen in place for a split second before you start reaching for your own pistol. Your fingers brush the grip when -
The clock strikes seven, and sirens go off all around you, signalling the end of the purge.
The gun is out of your face. Your hand moves off of your own.
“San,” The owner of the gun pays you no mind, suddenly, his entire focus on San. The gun-owner reaches a hand out, and the firefighter beside you takes it, allowing himself to get pulled up to his feet. “You okay?”
“Yeah, Yunho, I’m totally good,” San responds, giving the taller man a cat-like grin of reassurance. Yunho’s got a fireman’s helmet on, and you suppose it’s good as protection. He must be a fellow firefighter, then. He’s tall, and though he’d seemed nothing short of severe mere moments ago, he seems softer, kinder now that the purge is over. The transformation is enough to give you whiplash. His right hand is wrapped in bandages, and this catches San’s sight at the same time it catches your own. “What the hell happened to you, though?”
“That policeman you killed had buddies,” Yunho replies with ease, but you don’t miss San’s wince. Seems like he hadn’t just happened upon that police-issue pistol. You can’t help the small grin that fights to make its way across your face. “They tried to get into the station, we had to fortify ourselves. We’re mostly fine, just that Woo’s lost a finger. He’ll live once he stops whining about it. We were mostly worried about you, honestly, taking fucking forever just to find a first aid kit. Who’s this?”
Yunho moves the topic of conversation over to you so naturally that you barely even realize what has happened before San is reaching a hand out to you to pull you up to a standing position. You grab ahold of your pistol, though you shove the bat off your lap before allowing yourself to be brought up. Without thinking, you practically plaster yourself to San’s side. Now that he’s for sure what he told you he was, and now that you’re no longer in danger of dying, you can’t help but feel inexplicably connected to him even though neither of you know each other. San wraps an arm around your waist naturally, and neither of you miss Yunho’s eyebrow raise. Neither of you acknowledge it, either.
“This?” San asks rhetorically, turning his head slightly to look at you. He’s smiling again, and you find that you want to see it more often. Maybe you’re experiencing the onset of delirium. You hope not. “This is…”
“(Name),” You reply, being honest. There’s no need for you to lie. Besides, you owe San answers, right? You stick your uninjured arm out, letting Yunho shake your hand. San’s grip tightens around your waist.
“I’m (Name).”
