Thank you
I think we fall a little bit in love a million times a day.
The way the light falls like fading starlight. The first sip of a hot beverage on a cold morning. The silly thing our dog or cat did. Or child. The way someone laughs. Old friends. New friends. That spark of connection, wherever it begins and wherever it may lead.
There is so much beauty in the world. And so much magick. It’s easy to overlook it or dismiss it as ordinary. But there’s nothing ordinary about the thing that light us up, that make the dark diminish. And I am constantly seeking out what shines, where I find it or create it. We are all meant to be lighthouses, in the end. I believe that.
Yesterday, I made a choice to let go of the idea of something and embrace what is. Sometimes, that can be hard to do, whether it’s intentional or not. But we are often so full of longing that it won’t fit into words. And we are, in one way or another, often chasing after one spark or another. Because it’s the light that matters. That makes the darkness into something less. And there are so many ways we accomplish that for ourselves and for each other.
I think connection is one of the most important things in life. The marrow of it. It’s the whole point of this mad world. I have friends living all across the globe. I have visited some of them, but not nearly enough. If you had told that to sixteen year old me, I would’ve thought you were daft. But it’s the truth. And I know the internet can be vile, but it has also made the world into a kind of cocktail bar with books. And I love that.
I have been privileged to make incredible friends. Those friends have supported me when I needed it, cheered me on, given me advice, made me laugh, held space for me when I’ve cried—often from the bigger-on-the-inside space within my phone. Pocket friends.
I’ve said this elsewhere, but if you have supported my poetry in some way—reading it, sharing it, telling me what it meant to you—thank you. It means more to me than I can articulate, but I am grateful. And, well, ’tis the season and all that.

I'm so fucking excited to finally be able to share these!!! @msalexwp and I have been SCREAMING over these for the past few days.
I commissioned one piece of art by @dara-art a few weeks ago and she blessed us with 2 pieces - one from myself and one from her because she loved the story so much. I honestly can't thank her enough for the amazing art she created for us.
Alex has been one of my biggest supporters since I started on my wolfstar podfic'ing journey. This art is honestly the bare minimum I can do to thank her. Chained to the Moon is one of my all time favorites fanfictions (let's be honest stories) I've ever read. Everyone should take a few days to devour it's amazingness.
Alex is such a talented writer and every piece of work she creates only improves the fandom. She's not only a gifted writer, but also an amazing person. She's always there to offer a kind word, advice, or support when necessary and listens to my rattle on without any complaints. Thanks for being such an amazing friend. You truly make this fandom a better place!

Heyyy pocket friends <3 I have a very important question for you all.
So, I have mixed feelings about doing this. It's not something I thought I would ever do/need to do, since I realize that times are tough for everyone and fan content should be free and available whenever possible.
However, I've run into a problem. I'm currently overseas and just last week I unexpectedly lost my remote job that was supposed to support me the whole time I'm here. With my bills back home and other responsibilities, my little savings is (very, very quickly) disappearing.
So, to explore a new avenue of supporting myself online while away, I set up a Ko-Fi HERE
You can, of course, choose to simply buy me a kofi, or I have a couple of digital prints of fanarts I've done (and I will be adding more!!) if you'd like to support me that way!

In a recent video, my biggest comfort creator talked about carrying around little things you love in your pocket and it made me think about this blog. A lot of the pets I post are whoever I was carrying around that day and improvising what I can do with them. Others are pre planned photoshoots. Either way, this creator was right. You should just carry around little things you love. I carry these guys with me everyday and it's been so much fun. Sometimes I show them to people and most of the time, they're just my pocket buddy ^^

Day 9: Fandom Friendships
For anyone who scoffs at you for devoting too much time to any fandom, I say they don't know what they are talking about.
This past year I saw mutuals actually meeting each other for the first time IRL because they shared a love for Noah Reid.
I saw mutuals supporting each other while going through some difficult life challenges. REAL friendships developed all because we liked a certain show.
Being a part of a fandom brings people together, and for that I am so very grateful!

50 Podfics!!! Well technically 51...
I'm sitting here pondering how I'm already up to 51 podfics. I found the wolfstar community less than 2 years ago and decided I wanted to start podfic'ing in July of 2022. I had absolutely no idea what I was doing when I went into this, but knew I need more audio content not only for myself but for the world. When @heartofspells gave me permission to post my first TTS podfic I was floored and not really sure anybody would listen to it, but here we are 5 months later and I have an entire portfolio of them.
@r33sespieces and @msalexwp have been some of my biggest supports and have essentially let me have free reign over their fics. I knew I wanted to do something special for "post number 50" and felt that creating something for these 2 was the best way to do it.
There are so many other creators out there who I have interacted with in the past few months that have made this whole journey possible - @sliebman10, @theresthesnitch, @aqua-myosotis, @squintclover, @mostlyoptimisticdinosaur, @fonkeloog to name a few. I don't know that I can tag everyone, but know that I see you and I appreciate you. An extra special thanks to @itsaash for being my constant sounding board and overall just amazing friend. This fandom is truly amazing because of the wonderful people who choose to interact with it. 🥰
