[March 10, 2024: Now Entering Mystic Falls, Part One]

⚜️ TW: My Mikaelsons are a ✨️ problem ✨️ and don't play nice at all. Death, sex, blood, violence, manipulation, and dark themes will probably be present. I don't condone any of the actions taken by these vampires, I'm just recording them. For science. Also warning, I am TLDRing yet again.

Shifting Notes:

This is my first [awake, lucid] shift where I'm taking charge of the situation/piloting my DR-self (Zoey) like a Gundam mech suit. Using the Taglock Method, I've been able to focus on the specifics of where I'm going and when. I don't think it's foolproof, though. We'll see... For weeks now, I've been going through the source material of TVD. I figured that Mystic Falls would be the best place to start. After all, the Webb* estate is there. Hopefully, there'll be clues there, too.

Astrological timing: It was a new moon in Pisces. Saturn and Neptune was on either side of the moon in the same sign. Pisces is known as a natural dreamer. Saturn and Neptune solidify the dream. An excellent time for shifting.

*In my DR, the Webb estate is a property owned by my DR-self's family.

⚜️ In order to connect with my DR-self and pop into the TVD/Originals-verse, I decided to wear my hair up in a bun like Zoey Webb. I also added in a wooden chopstick just like her, both for connection & the added bonus of having a stabby little stake handy on my person. Can't be too careful. I learned from my [asleep] minishifts that the best time to jump into my DR-self is when she's busy or distracted so I tried focusing my inner-vision on a moment where she was as soon as I put on the taglock. (See: Taglock Method)

⚜️ The first thing that drifted into my mind was the song "No Roots" by Alice Merton & the blurred images of trees. Sustaining my focused trance, I put on the song and began listening to it in my CR. As soon as I did, the images crystallized, becoming much clearer than before. Zoey is sitting in a Greyhound bus, jamming out to music (she has ear buds in) while green forest flies past her outside the window. I begin to synchronize my CR self's movements to Zoey's. Suddenly, I'm in her body. Seeing everything from 1st person perspective.

Observation: I'm the exact opposite of Z. I am usually more reserved on public transit & don't listen to music while I'm traveling. I pay attention to my surroundings.

⚜️ The bus is empty save for a mother & her two children who're being A LOT and crying. A young dude with a skateboard and a man sitting more towards the front seats of the bus. He carries a briefcase with him. I'm in the back of the bus (something my DR-self & I have in common, I usually pick the back). At the climax of the song, I hear the muffled voice of the bus driver announcing to those onboard that we've officially entered Mystic Falls. "This is our last stop on the line. Please remember to take your stuff with you when you leave. You won't be able to recover your valuables if you forget them here. Last stop, Mystic Falls." The bus driver reiterates again for good measure.

⚜️ My DR-self takes out one ear bud to half listen to the end of what the bus driver was saying & then gets bored, continuing to jam out more to the end of the song. But out of the corner of our eyes, we see the stressed mom giving us a disapproving glare. We give her a little rueful, embarrassed smile. Before we can tone things down, however, we spot the "Welcome to Mystic Falls" sign from our side of the window. We in it now. There's no turning back for our stuff if we leave it here. As if making a huge point to underline that, "No Roots" ends.

⚜️ I feel something vibrate in my pocket. It's my cell phone alerting me to a text message from an "Angie." I would've opened the text, but Zoey's body overrides my influence, rolls her eyes, and ignores the message. She puts the cell phone back in her pant's pocket. RIP Angie, lolol. The bus driver announces again, "Now entering our lovely historic downtown Mystic Falls!". Then, he goes on to elaborate about how this cozy town has 'still retained its rustic charm throughout the decades it's been around'. He sounds like he wants to be a tour guide instead of a Greyhound driver...

⚜️ From outside my window, I see the huge, brick clocktower rising up before me on the horizon. I see old houses with wrap-around porches, white pillared entrances, and large sprawling yards. Eventually, that melts into storefronts and the Mystic Falls Square. It's a regular day here. As regular as any day in Mystic Falls can be. People are going about their business; walking through the Square, bustling around the storefronts. There's no town event being held here. But since MF is always commemorating something, I don't doubt there's a party happening somewhere. As the bus drives past the Mystic Grill, my DR-self (and I) peer at it from out our side of the window. Her with curiosity, me with...uh. Well, mixed feelings, to be honest. I notice a woman walking into the Grill just as the bus drives past it. It's no one I recognize from the show.

⚜️ The bus driver announces out loud again: "Last stop! Please, take all items with you & enjoy your stay in beautiful Mystic Falls, the homeliest town in all of Virginia!". When the bus finally comes to a complete stop, people start gathering their things & moving toward the exit. Since I'm in the back, sitting behind everyone, I have to wait for the others to go before me. It gives me (my CR-self) enough time to feel mild anxiety about disembarking because the moment I do, I'm sure the TVD drama will begin. As soon as the mom with her loud children make it to the front of the bus, I see my DR-self (Z) reach for a military canvas bag that's been sitting next to her on the empty seat. It looks beaten up, like it has seen way better days. There's hand-stitched, cloth patches on some parts of it where I'm guessing Zoey tried her best to repair it from being damaged. Also, I notice that the bag is all the items she has with her besides the ear buds & cell phone.

��️ My DR-self pauses as if she can feel my anxiety just before the exit, peering up at the LED destination sign that said "Mystic Falls" in loud, bright yellow. Both my DR/CR-self takes a synchronized deep breath and steel ourselves. 'Whelp, there's no turning back,' I hear my DR-self whisper under her breath. I respond back mentally with a 'Yup, we in it' despite knowing that "Z" probably can't hear me. I'm just a passenger inside her head and have *some* control over what she does. But not total control...

⚜️ The place the Greyhound drops everyone off at is behind the police station across the street from the Grill. There's a parking lot in the back of the police station, it's nearly full with cars. I get anxious again and nearly lose my connection with my DR-self. After a few calming breaths, however, I'm able to synch again with her. When I do, Z checks her cell phone & goes into her Google Mail. An email from "Nathaniel Pogue" is sitting there up on the top of the list. It looks like it's been read before. It's flagged as important. I influence Zoey to read the email again just so I can be a snoop. But also because it's starred. I only ever star things in my email when I need to remember not to forget an appointment...

⚜️ Bing, bing, bing! I'm right. The email was starred because it details a 3 pm meeting at Mathewson Realty where (Z) will be signing paperwork pertaining to the Webb estates. Apparently, today is the day she'll be signing the dotted line on the Deed of Ownership for all of William's properties and picking up the keys from Mr. Pogue. I notice on the phone that the time is already 3 pm. Great! My DR & CR self are both running late for our first scenario in Mystic Falls! Cue: us running (like a female anime protagonist late for her first day of high-school with toast in her mouth trope) towards Mystic Falls Square.

I hope being late for appointments isn't my "thing" in Mystic Falls. 😅 Anyways, y'all. I'll be posting [Part Two] of this shift ASAP. If you're still reading this, I appreciate that you got this far haha!

week of june 25th, 2023

aries: it's a somewhat strange time to be an aries as mars squares uranus. the unexpected happens. and even knowing that, you can't prevent it or prepare for it. it may not be bad, but it will certainly be jarring, and all there is for it is to try to be wise (with money, with love)

taurus: unexpected blessings should be arriving this week. surprise and delight await. it's fated and wyrd and will most likely all make sense after you see it but not before.

gemini: your ruling planet mercury leaves your sign this week for cancer and while cancerian vibes may be well out of your wheelhouse, at least mercury stays busy, flitting about in a way that suits you. exchanges of all kinds (money, goods, words) are good for your finances at this time.

cancerians: mercury in your sign from this week can have you chattier than usual. it's a good thing, mostly. say what you need to say, get stuff off your chest. be a little picky about who you talk to, but if someone comes to you with a question or request it's safe to answer honestly.

leo: this leonic time of year has you as a budding flower ready to burst forth into life but not quite doing it. leonic mars activity at the same time makes you a bit itchy, perhaps acting a little prematurely. it's okay to do so, just know you may want to change your mind about some things later.

virgo: honestly i'm still collecting data on ceres vs. mercury for virgoans but the square between them this week should provide useful information. this cardinal square will affect your resources and social situations, one way or another! take note of which influence is stronger - if the focus is more on resources of some kind, ceres is your true ruler. otherwise, probably mercury. of course, there's no rule saying it can't be both. meanwhile neptune retrograde brings confusion to committed relationships or confrontations with "enemies" of whatever sort.

libra: this week is not very balanced. that throws you off balance too, which is not your preferred state by any means. you have options, then; try to force yourself back to equilibrium, which might work, or go with the flow and learn how to surf.

scorpio: the vibes are all fire and water and you, desert creature, are the one who combines both the best. this is simple alchemy for you, you can do it practically in your sleep. if it feels like it's hard you're overthinking.

sagittarius: best case scenario: a busy yet productive week. more likely: a bit of a struggle. but the moon in your sign at the end of the week should help you, if you work along with it by doing what your body needs to be nurtured.

capricorn: on the one hand, the intense cardinality of the week is something you understand - projects are begun with ease and so on. on the other hand it makes for a number of squares to your natal capricorn planets and points. so there is a chafing that can lead to starting too many things, and/or too soon. just be wary of this caveat as you go.

aquarius: you get two major warnings this week: one is a sort of tower warning (in the tarot sense) around the mars-uranus square, which may affect your committed relationships and/or your home life. a partner moves out? or if you planned to move in with someone, maybe try to reschedule or reconsider... then neptune retrograde in your 2nd house. resources are deceptive in some way. maybe you thought a joint income would help, for example. this says, probably not as much as you hoped.

pisces: your ruler neptune goes retrograde. it has, of course, been inching toward the final degrees of your sign. this slows it down and takes it back a bit, for a little longer with you. don't let others make you fear retrogrades; for you this is romantic and sweet, if a bit delulu. it's unlikely to do you any harm, and more likely to help you to enjoy your days.

༘⋆ - WHAT ZODIAC SIGNS ARE THE WEDNESDAY CHARACTERS?

༘⋆ - TW: none, other than a long astrological essay on wednesday characters…

༘⋆ - WEDNESDAY: no one in this world could be a better representation of the scorpio sun other than wednesday addams. i am on cloud nine to have it be canon, as her birthday is set to be november 13th in the series. although, i must add that i suspect her being a scorpio rising too, as her love for all things black and gore and her overall appearance is definitely a dead giveaway. the sun and rising conjunction indicates that her public image is a reflection of who she really is - she might have her guards up, but she’s not masking her truest self. in other words, wednesday accurately presents herself to the world. wednesday, as most scorpios, is quick witted yet cold in most situations. she is not easily swept off her feet, but as any other water sign, she’ll be absolutely devoted to you once you earn her trust.

༘⋆ - ENID: our lovely werewolf girl is definitely giving me cancer sun vibes - she might second guess her decisions or be overally clumsy, but you can’t deny that she is the mom friend. enid is a ray of sunshine - she is quite talkative and sociable, and once you two click - she’ll be your bestest bud. she’ll paint your nails, make you snoods to match and banter about the latest nevermore drama. not only that, we have to remember that cancer is ruled by moon - which is something that makes quite a lot of sense and is generally significant to her, considering her outcast species.

༘⋆ - XAVIER: the one and only resident tortured artist is definitely a sagittarius man in my eyes. he seems like quite the jokester and the type of person whose flirting style is roasting & sarcasm. he’s all over the place and quite nosy, giving advices left & right and wanting to be a part of every major event, whether that be you hunting down the hyde by its footprints or visiting the gates’ house. that, however, also indicates the presence of his caring nature, and in some cases, possessiveness. that brings me to the point where i state that he gives me scorpio venus vibes. i mostly see a confirmation of that in his thing for ‘tragic goth girls with funeral parlor fashion sense’. his sag sun also indicates his creativity and love for all things art, since sagittarius, just like the artsy sign pisces, is ruled by jupiter. xavier is very blunt and will not hesitate to call you out on your bs, especially if it involves his ego being hurt (very fire sign man of him). under the facade of the whole ‘life of the party’ persona, there is a darker side to him, which his friend ajax briefly mentions.

༘⋆ - AJAX: when it comes to our stoner boy ajax, there is no doubt that this gorgon guy is a taurus. he is down to earth, laid back and is a person of warm nature. he is basically the epitome of ‘no thoughts, just vibes’. with taurus being ruled by venus, ajax shows up as loving and caring person when it comes to both lovers, friends and family. the stoner boy is a dependable and trustworthy friend, and we certainly see it in course of his conversation with enid, where he reveals xavier’s ‘darker side’ yet still highlights his devotion to the friend. but sadly, as a good old taurus sun, he doesn’t really take hints.

༘⋆ - BIANCA: bianca is unarguably one of the best examples of a female leo sun. this girl is always driven by the exciting feeling of competition and the desire to win, but also has a darker side to her which haunts her on a daily basis. apart from most fire signs, or even leo’s neighboring sign virgo, leos tend to have a lot of insecurities that they compensate for by being arrogant & unapologetically extra. this clearly explains bianca’s behavior, and therefore in my story, she is definitely not the villain. we see that her personality traits were also influenced by her mother’s toxicity, which makes me believe her moon could definitely be in scorpio. her siren powers are both a blessing and a curse - with the help of those, she was able to siren her way into the academy, leaving the toxic environment of ‘morning song’, but when it comes to her platonic or romantic relationships, her powers are often frowned upon.

༘⋆ - TYLER: weirdly enough, when speaking of tyler, i must say that he could be a capricorn sun. moreover, i will have the nerve to say that his sun is definitely in opposition to his moon, thus being in cancer, because it would make perfect sense to me. these two placements indicate his emotional ups and downs and the struggles of his wants and needs. coming from my personal observations, tyler’s mental health state, as well as the neediness and (at some point) fear of abandonment when it comes to romantic relationships, could be easily explained by his sun and moon sign. the teenage boy is always overwhelmed by his thoughts and feelings and is unable to comprehend them. therefore, he is prone to manipulation, and in this case, ms. thornhill’s influence. it is also important to note that such aspect shows a complex relationship with a mother figure, as well as the absence of the father to some extent. that is why i do believe he has this particular astro combination, which gives him a mixture of personalities.

༘⋆ - EUGENE: to end off and complete the holy water sign trinity, it must be said that eugene would probably be a pisces. that kid is absolutely wholesome and has to be protected by all costs, but he completely denies it as he puts his life in danger, striving to accomplish a heroic mission of investigating the hyde’s lair. with his exaggerated sense of a fairy tale romance and never-ending attempts of finding his one true love who would appreciate him for who he is, i suppose his sun sign is conjunct his venus. his genuine friendship with the scorpio sun wednesday could easily explain my choice for his sun sign, as, speaking from experience once again, i am the number one stan of scorpio x pisces friendships.

Story: Battle strategy cards;‘Stellar Charm’ One Tree Hill

One Tree Hill

‘Angel Casablancas’ and their twin sister ‘Cassidy Casablancas’ are the reigning ‘Stellar Charm Card’ champions of the city. Why? From all the students and inhabitants of the city ‘One Tree Hill’ named after the ominous forest from which the entire town surrounds, the mythos and legends surrounding the condemned huaunted forest and tree upon the top of the highest mountain in the city seems to share a grim tale about a series of suicide that concerned the towns ever budding congregation that used to meet weekly for church gatherings at the foot of the ominous tree at the very top of the ecclesiastical tree, now condemned the fellowship now meets else where disbanded and scattered after the horrific events that were the result of students jumping from the top of the building, tree and mountain falling to the their deaths at the bottom of the city beneath the mountain. Walled off and forbidden territory as the signs and gates proclaim on the walls of the forbidden forest students constantly enter in hopes of finding the lost cards of a popular card game that once reigned within the town. ‘Stellar charm cards was a game of unique personal skill and talents that required one to sing, dance and use personal talents to summon your cards constellations the power from which the cards drew from. Unbeknownst to some of the students and card users, some had more than others and the more you possessed the more powerful you were compared to some who only possed two if only even one. The losers of these card games tragically forced if not pushed to end their lives from jumping to their doom amused the congregation leader who sought posses and collect all the cards. But the two twins, secretly would go from card user to card user in private consoling them and confiding within them in order to collect their card in secret, then adding their card to their book of protection, thereby spearing that student or card user from having to suicide. If one didn’t run the Forest deadly maze a deadly obstacle course of doom and make it out alive then there was no way for one to enter the condemned forest in hopes of connecting with one of the ‘stellar sacred tree’s’ one would find in hopes of connecting their soul with a sacred trees constellation of power. Thus, how the card game was born from the now candy factory that would harvest the strange fruits the trees would produce in order to create their sacred foods the town would consume in order to bring forth the unknown power within them.

THE GOLDEN SON 𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐟𝐞𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐟 𝐟𝐥𝐨𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠. now imagine the feeling of floating away into the nether reaches of space. imagine the way slipping up into the air would make you feel – do you feel the air around you at all? is there enough oxygen to make the trip sliding up through the sky and into the unknown worth it? or will the whole experience just leave you clawing at your own skin because it’s burning from the inside out without the attentive oxygen filling up your pores?

the headline read : 𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐚'𝐬 𝐠𝐨𝐥𝐝𝐞𝐧 𝐛𝐨𝐲 but there’s nothing golden about the downward decent into enveloping madness. he was not born mad ( and really is anyone? ) but had the madness set upon him by the events that took place. born ninety seconds before his twin brother douglas, thomas james hammond was smiling when he came out into the world. it may be hard to tell now, but from that first moment he has always known that he wanted to experience all that life had to offer. the happiness didn’t end much at all in the first ten years of his life ( except for when it did, but according to doctors he was simply a growing boy with a growing mind ). even through the first campaign and moving into the white house ( seven year olds still in awe that they have this much space to play in ) his smile stayed so strong. there were things that made it even brighter : his brother, his mama, telling stories with a flashlight under the blanket long past their bedtime. but there was one thing that kept him happy, kept the madness at bay when it threatened to show its burning head.

music never wanted to kill him. while it may be an artist’s curse to feel everything so fucking fully, it isn’t the art form that grabbed him with sharp jaws. he picked up his first piece of sheet music at three years old, and everyone in the family broke out the camcorders. 𝐨𝐡 𝐛𝐚𝐛𝐲 𝐲𝐨𝐮'𝐫𝐞 𝐠𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐚 𝐠𝐨 𝐟𝐚𝐫 they’d say as he banged tiny fingers on keys. those tiny fingers grew into the keys. passion and music weaved together, only those within his most inner circle allowed to see what really showed. books upon books begin to get filled through the years. music notes that look like water as they swim across the pages of score sheets. his happiness isn’t dependent on his music, but his music has always and will always provide him with natural serotonin that he chases after in the powder of small bags.

fear and loathing keep him from doing well in school. doug is the favorite twin with grades and extra curriculars that fill out the resume how every college wishes it would. he’ll go to princeton or yale or harvard or wherever the fuck he wants and tj instead knows exactly where he’s headed ( 𝐬𝐢𝐱 𝐟𝐞𝐞𝐭 𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐥 𝐢𝐧 𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐝 ) but his steps to get there are the difficult part. first he must survive high school : where his best friends are snow and addie. they provide the blanket of protection he needs when he finds himself on the wrong side of his first tmz article.

the first son is a fag? it didn’t say that, but when he read it it really may as well have. the world plucked him from the closet just before y2k ; a fifteen year old boy with a life sentence. first came tmz, then the times article, and then before he knew it he’s suddenly the country’s most famous gaybie. to america that makes him their sweetheart, but the world never knows what sweethearts do when they’re craving sweet tarts.

the same year he found himself on the wrong side of a conversation. while the world doesn’t know it, having your father be the 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐚 really makes these trying times much easier to keep undisclosed, he knows the truth of it all. the good ole boy’s private school couldn’t have a drug addicted slut making a bad name for their school, so they banished him to the other realm. or you know. . . expelled him. he finds himself in the countryside of france for the next two years where catholicism is the ruling decree and drug addicts rule the halls. it’s here he rules the school with charlotte arnold by his side, and cross my heart and hope to die those two are a dangerous duo.

college isn’t for everyone, but for a hammond it is an expectation. he’ll start his education one place, and eventually end it in another. the location doesn’t matter : after all there are phones on cameras and street corners now. his antics can destroy his life no matter what he ends up. wherever he is, 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐧𝐨𝐰 𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐬 𝐝𝐨𝐰𝐧 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧 𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐡𝐨𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐬𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐫 𝐝𝐚𝐲𝐬.

COCAINE DREAMS and what about the snow? playing in the white confection as the world keeps spinning around you. it’s comfortable, holding you and keeping you warm when the world outside is desperately freezing. why wouldn’t you jump into it’s open arms that widen more for you? it doesn’t feel good to leave it’s grasp so you stay there. where you are wanted. where you are needed. 𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐝.

he feels everything so fully that even empathy doesn’t cover it. with elders describing his symptoms as a side effect of drug abuse, tj knows the symptoms came first. 𝐢𝐟 𝐨𝐧𝐥𝐲 𝐬𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐝 𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐝 ( and if only when he screamed it was outside of his mind ) they wouldn’t feel the pain of every time he runs. snow opens her beautiful arms for him and through out his twenties he jumped too far into her arms. some moments were easy – someone at a party helped him sleep it off or his few friends gave him the space to grieve the loss of his sanity. other moments hurt more – nearly dying in a crackhouse in canada just over the border line from buffalo. or the time he thought a bottle of downers was a bottle of uppers and sent himself spiraling more when trying to fix his own problems. he’ll hurt those he loves with every gram that goes up his nose.

after tj and doug turned 24, elaine barrish hammond began her first campaign for president. in a never shocking turn of events, people seemed more interested in a third term of bud ( even though they knew the scandals he locked in his closet ) instead of elaine. he doesn’t care ; after all, a tour de usa means he can find a fuck in all 50 states. they want to use him as a puppet like always? not a person, not a son, but a 𝐭𝐨𝐲 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐲 𝐤𝐞𝐞𝐩 𝐨𝐧 𝐚 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐨 𝐩𝐮𝐥𝐥 𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐲 𝐰𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝 𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐲 𝐦𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐛𝐞.

she ends up secretary of state, and tj ends up with a forced residency in dc once again. at 25 years old he is beginning to 𝐬𝐰𝐢𝐦 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐝𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐨𝐰𝐧 𝐦𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠. no one notices when republican senator sean reeves of ohio begins to steal glances at the ex first son. what’s worse is the reciprocation. tj on the wrong end of those glances turns into allowing someone to devour him whole while knowing he’ll spit him up and throw him out. the details of his sobriety, and his happiness, are unfortunately unimportant ( after all, they come at the hands of a false idol ) and instead the focus shifts to the inevitable ending. our sweetheart feels the false love ooze from every pore ; it leaves him as the tears spill from his red rimmed eyes. there’s a car, and a garage, and it’s all he can think to do in a split second. how might a mother, who loves her children with all of her heart despite how she hurts them so, feel when she finds her son no longer inhaling fumes because he’s passed out? ask elaine barrish.

no one knows for over a year, names and pseudonyms being confused and dispersed. forced sobriety normally didn’t work for tj, but this time rehab seemed to get through to him. he can maintain a sense of sobriety, nothing that’s considered illegal or prescribed to others, until 𝐟𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐝𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐰𝐢𝐬𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐤𝐧𝐢𝐟𝐞 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐨 𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐛𝐚𝐜𝐤. the puppet is now a pawn, an article being published on the suicide attempt of america’s sweetheart. he watches the story unfold on the news while sharing a straw to soak up snow on his dealer’s couch.

the rest of his life will never look the same. he realizes that sobriety is a privilege he has to work for. feeling everything makes the lows lower and the highs higher. when no one will name it ( maybe one day a doctor will say the word bipolar to him outloud ) how can you treat it? mania gives him excitement, but with it comes his chest being ripped to shreds by his own mind. 𝐢𝐟 𝐲𝐨𝐮’𝐫𝐞 𝐠𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐨 𝐡𝐮𝐫𝐭, 𝐰𝐡𝐲 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐛𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐥 𝐨𝐟 𝐢𝐭?

MARCH ASTROLOGY - ISH MANIFESTING MARCH

Welcome to the end and beginning. March is my Birthday month and always feels rushed. The end of winter feels bitter sweet and Spring starts budding a bit too soon.

I find this month really special. Whilst it's business as usual in the 3D physical realm, it's the end and beginning, death and rebirth happening simultaneously, and it feels like normal even though it's extraordinary.

THE WHEEL KEEPS ON SPINNING

I believe we are experiencing social turbulence as we fly the plane collectively. There is a sense of collective strength that those of us who have felt powerless and ruled over find some sense of power in ourselves. This is the rumbling of Pluto in Aquarius, a celestial foot soldier for we the people. So if we are indeed the people, then we certainly do have the power.

Pisces season feels like a lavender field: sweet, bright, and calm. It does carry us through the end of the zodiac cycle to the final crescendo of the orchestra.

New mindset, new understanding of POWER opens the door to Aries season. Feel that sense of courage and boldness, a real and permanent mindset shift. Live your days with confidence, the same confidence you have to know the sun will rise every morning.

I know it may not be what you envision your morals and values will look like, but what can you work with, what is here to celebrate and enjoy about where you are at now.

Libra Health, downtime, sleep, rest, fatigue, if you don’t need to go anywhere, stay at home in your bed in PJs. March will feel like a reset in regards to your health and wellness. Perhaps you want to try out a new diet or realize that you have not been treating yourself and your body well and you want to start seeing your body as a temple that also needs to be nurtured from the inside out.

Transiting Venus enters Sagittarius

Friday, December 29, 2023 - Tuesday, January 23, 2024

As we have learned by now - the swifter planets’ transits through Sagittarius have been sketchy of late, due to the slower-movers congregating in Pisces (squares to Saturn and Neptune) and Taurus (inconjuncts and sesquiquads to Jupiter and Uranus). We are surely being made aware of the downsides of Sagittarius: xenophobia, cultural appropriation, commitment phobia, religious zealotry, and so forth.

We can take some comfort in the fact that Venus’ trip through Sag is almost the last Sag transit we’ll have to endure for some time. (Ceres will be the last to leave, later in January.)

Art - this is the transit for which my usual bad joke of “Art with a capital ‘F’” happens. There can be zero appreciation for art - or we go the other way, and (try to) hold everyone to our own impossible standards.

Beauty - and this is where the cultural appropriation may creep in. Don’t. We admire the “wilder” beauties, the sportier types with little to no styling.

Love - and here is where the commitment phobia happens. Sag is pretty notorious for this. (As are all the mutable signs, to be fair.)

Money - profligacy can be a problem. Either we blow our paychecks on partying hearty, or we send everything to the latest religious type person (or cult leader).

Friday, December 29 - Venus/Sagittarius (0°27’) sesquisquare Chiron/Aries (15°27’). Starting out almost immediately on the wrong foot. Hurt feelings. We feel as if we should be able to do somethng, but the timing is off.

Monday, January 1 - Venus/Sagittarius square Saturn/Pisces, 3°17’. I can’t think of many worse ways to ring in 2024! Don’t be too hard on yourself; think instead of ways you can validate your own worth.

On Wednesday, January 3, it gets very uncomfortable:

Venus/Sagittarius inconjunct Jupiter/Taurus, 5°36’

Venus/Sagittarius (5°44’) sesquiquad North Node/Aries (20°44’), semi-square South Node/Libra (20°44’)

More bad timing. We could over-indulge, we could be reckless about something. We have to make an adjustment and we don’t want to. If we’ve been “going along to get along,” we’re very uncomfortable about it.

Saturday, January 6 - Venus/Sagittarius (9°09’) sesquiquad Eris Rx/Aries (24°09’). Timing issues again. If something happens to piss us off, it’s important to find a healthy and safe outlet.

Wednesday, January 10 - Venus/Sagittarius (14°40’) semi-square Pluto/Capricorn (29°40’). Curses, foiled again! If we try to manipulate our own way, the attempt fails.

Thursday, January 11 - Venus/Sagittarius trine Chiron/Aries, 15°33’. Time for some healing and making amends.

Sunday, January 14 - Venus/Sagittarius inconjunct Uranus Rx/Taurus, 19°09’. Adjustments. In a relationship, neither party is ready to commit - and show it in different ways.

Then, Venus has Quite A Week. Placements between 19°-26° of mutable signs are particularly vulnerable.

Monday, January 15:

Venus/Sagittarius trine North Node/Aries, sextile South Node/Libra, 20°07’

Venus/Sagittarius (21°01’) sesquiquad Jupiter/Taurus (6°01’)

Tuesday, January 16:

Venus/Sagittarius conjunct Ceres/Sagittarius, 21°43’

Venus/Sagittarius square Juno Rx/Virgo, 21°49’

Wednesday, January 17 - Venus/Sagittarius opposite Vesta Rx/Gemini, 23°26’.

Thursday, January 18:

Venus/Sagittarius semi-sextile Pallas Athene/Scorpio, 23°57’

Venus/Sagittarius trine Eris/Aries, 24°09’

Friday, January 19 - Venus/Sagittarius square Neptune/Pisces, 25°26’

The main deal is a mutable grand cross, and a pretty tight one:

Venus and Ceres are conjunct in Sagittarius;

They both oppose Vesta Rx in Gemini;

They both are square Juno Rx in Virgo and Neptune in Pisces.

Delusions, illusions, confusions; for some of us, this will manifest as family or relationship drama. Luckily this is a mutable grand cross - the problem is a new one. We can nip it right in the bud if we so choose.

We have also Jupiter/Taurus, acting as a bit of a focal point for that energy - he’s semi-square Vesta and Neptune, sesquiquad Venus, Ceres, and Juno. The trigger might be money, or general laziness and sloth. Someone refuses to acknowledge a problem and insists, “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.”

There is a flowing aspect to Eris, for Venus, Ceres, and Vesta. We’re in a definite “Mama Bear” mood, willing to stand up and fight to protect our loved ones. Meanwhile, Pallas Athene mediates between Juno and Neptune. There are creative solutions to the problems.
