Whenever Eddie has food on his face, doesn't matter if it's in his bedroom or at lunch in the middle of the cafeteria in front of the student body, horror!bimbo licks it off. Heather was vaguely aware of the sun dipping below the horizon as she manned the counter, serving a line of customers that went out the front door. The holiday rush was an exciting and exhausting time for Heather and her two sisters, but they couldn’t complain. After all, it was good business.

“Holly,” Heather shouted to her youngest sister, who was finishing up hanging festive flowers from the wooden ceiling beams. She whipped her bubblegum pink head down to the gift wrapping station that adjoined the counter in the centre of the shop. Three eager customers waited with their purchases clutched in their hands.

“Right!” Holly’s witch hat fell to the floor as she lowered herself down like a kid on the monkey bars, and quickly threw her hat back on as she made her way to the gift wrapping station. “Sorry for the wait. Which gift wrapping would you like? We’ve got shimmering blue snow, golden tinsel, or my personal favorite, pink petals for the coming spring.”

Holly could be a little frantic, but her passionate spirit brought warm smiles to the customers’ faces. Or frazzle and dazzle is what Holly would call it. The thought made Heather snort under her breath. The windows quickly became coated in a light frost as nightfall hit.

Hazel—Heather’s other sister—had brought the fire to life in the hearth and with a wave of her hand, conjured a swirl of wind to maneuver a broomstick across the floor, sweeping up fallen flowers, dirt and dust. The chiming of the bell that hung before the front door signaled the departure of the last few customers as Heather smiled and greeted the last person in line.

“Would I be able to see that one?” said the customer.

Heather’s eyes followed the customer’s finger, pointing to the large glass case on the top shelf behind her. It made her stomach churn like a bubbling cauldron. This dildo was inside a display case because it’d been a great effort to capture the entity that now hosted it. It was big, and such a dark purple that it was almost black. But it was also Heather’s greatest mistake.

“I’m sorry, but that one’s not for sale.” Said Heather.

The customer appeared heartbroken. “Why?”

It was the first mistake Heather made when she launched the business. She’d summoned an ancient Jinni and captured it without striking a deal. And Jinni’s were quite vicious, especially if they’d been forced into something that wasn’t a lamp.

Heather couldn’t bring herself to release the Jinni, as horrible as that made her feel. She was terrified at what it could do to her for payback.

A blur of white hair appeared at Heather’s side. “That’s the Annabel of dildos. You don’t want to touch it.” Hazel stated with caution. Heather nodded. “It’s a safety hazard. The jinni inside it isn’t friendly.” “May I make a custom order, then? I don’t see any other dildos in your shop that are giant like that one.”

Heather and Hazel eyed each other. In the heat of starting up a business, they hadn’t thought about custom orders yet. But now that someone had shared their desire for it, hundreds of other residents in Shadow Falls would want it too. Heather grabbed a notepad out from under the counter and grinned at the customer from ear to ear. “Tell me how you would like it to be customized, and I’ll see what we can do.”

As the three sisters locked up shop, they prepared their tasks for the next morning and subsequently outlined their schedule for the rest of the week.

Heather heaved a cardboard box from the storage room and emerged from the hallway, plunking it in front of Holly onto the counter.

“The first order of business tomorrow morning is to deliver these massage oils to the Bathhouse by nine.” Said Heather, before eying Hazel. “Then Hazel, you’re manning the counter for the morning while I get the next restock of dildos for the next summoning. Do you have questions, comments, or concerns?”

Holly clasped Heather’s sleeve, pleading babyishly. “Please tell me we’ll be closed for Solstice, Heather?”

Hazel leaned against the counter. “We know you love striking the iron while it’s hot, but we’ve made plenty of profit for the holidays already. Don’t you think it’s time we slow down and enjoy it?”

For a moment, Heather didn’t know what to say. Had she overworked her sisters too hard? Occultic Pleasures was her passion and Heather let her sisters tag along for the ride. She tried to recall the last time she had a day off and… she couldn’t.

Heather prided herself on being a savvy business woman, but sometimes she couldn’t help but wonder if she was working to her own detriment. She could have owned a house by now, been married or had kids. But she was rooming with her sisters at thirty-four with a dildo business that was popping off.

It’d been years since she dated seriously, and she wasn’t lighting up at the prospect of small talking other males. At least Heather could get her own pleasure in her shop.

“Do you have more shifts at the Hostess Bar?” Heather quirked a brow at Hazel.

Holly collected the box of massage oil with fervor and made for the back door with a skip in her step. “Thank you, sis! I’ll set this down by the door so it’s ready for tomorrow.”

Hazel frowned at Heather. “You need a break too. I’m not talking about a day’s break. You need a few weeks off.”

Heather smiled at her sister’s open concern. “I’m fine, Hazel.”

She rolled her eyes and begrudgingly accepted Heather’s stubborn answer. Hazel gestured around the room. “Do you need help with anything else?”

Heather waved a hand. “Nothing, you guys head to bed. I’ll lock up.”

“All right,” Hazel padded to the back door. Their loft was above the shop, the only access an iron staircase beside the back entrance. “Goodnight, Heather.”

Heather finished lining the fireplace with some green and red tinsel, savoring how the fire warmed her skin. All she needed now was some hot coco and a chair to sit by the fire and she’d be content.

But as cozy as Heather’s little sex shop was, she knew she couldn’t sleep here. The shop was clean and ready for the next day. All she had left to do was take out the cash register drawer and hide it so no thieves could find it.

Hazel’s words came back to her as she went to the register. You need a break. While that was true, Heather couldn’t imagine handing over control of the shop to someone else for a day, let alone a few weeks. Occultic Pleasures was her baby, and she would not keep her eye off it for sometime soon.

It stressed her out to even think about it.

The bell chimed at the door, and Heather raised her eyes at the sound. The door had been blown wide open, and as Heather locked the register away in its shelf, she peered out the door to see if anyone was there.

When all she found was a snowy footpath, she locked the door. I thought I locked it before?

When she turned, the lights suddenly went out. The fireplace cast dark, lingering shadows, burning low.

Heather swallowed her panic, and searched for the light switch which was behind the counter. But when she turned all the lights back on, she found the glass cabinet on the shelf above her was empty, the door left open ajar.

Heather’s stomach sank.

The dildo had disappeared, so to the angry Jinni inside it.

Oh God.

In that moment, Heather didn’t see—but felt him coalescing into the air like smoke. The lights shuddered before cutting out, and no matter how many times Heather flicked the switch, they wouldn’t turn back on. A hulking shape stalked out of the shadows beside the hearth, and Heather’s heart stopped. A phantom breeze swirled at his feet—or where they were supposed to be—like his presence commanded a silent storm. His upper torso was exposed among the smoke, purple rippling muscles promising violence. The jinni flashed her a menacing smile. “Your business model has been fruitful. Capturing entities against their will and shoving them into your products.” His voice boomed, ancient and deep, full of contempt.

The most dangerous jinni had escaped. Heather swallowed, trying not to shrink as his tall form crept closer, leering down at her. Maybe if Heather explained that it was a misunderstanding, this Jinni wouldn’t burst her into flame. “You were a mistake. Every entity we summon into this shop strikes a mutual deal with us and agrees to inhabit our products.”

“Their consent doesn’t matter.” He brought his mouth to her ear, forcing her back against the shop window. “You’re greedy Heather, selling them for your own gain.”

“Please Jinni,” she begged. “I know how unfair it was for you. If I could reverse your capture, I would.”

“Why did you not set me free, then?” Heather had tried on many occasions, but the threat of this jinni exacting revenge always made her stop before she could finish the last step. The step that could set him free into the world. Part of her felt rotten for it, but the fear was too much.

When Heather didn’t answer, the jinni’s tone turned almost gleeful, his assumption correct. “You’ve felt not a drop of guilt for what you’ve done. I think it’s time you knew how it feels to be a captive.” With clawed hands, the jinni conjured a dark cloud of smoke and forced it Heather’s way, swallowing her whole. She stumbled away in terror before everything went black.

Music Artists I think the HOA Characters (Season 1 Specifically) would listen to!

Note: First head canon type thing I am putting on here (yay!). This is something I have thought a lot just myself in my lonesome so Id thought Id share it here! If you have any other ideas of what certain characters would listen to I would love to hear!

Nina

-> I think we as a fandom have collectively decided that Nina would 100% be a swiftie (and I agree). Her favorite album would be either Speak Now or Folklore, however, her fav song would probs be "London Boy" off of the Lover album though (for obvious reasons)

-> I can see her listening to some other softer artists like beabadobee, Clairo, and Boygenius (shes a softie at heart what can I say)

-> "All American Bitch" by Olivia Rodrigo is her confidence booster song for sure

-> Her and Amber have 2000-2010's pop music dance parties in their room together (which make annoy some of the housemates from them jumping around and dancing; also get in trouble with Victor about it but its worth it to them)

->Ok I need you guys to HEAR ME OUT with this one, but...Nina definitely is a little (just a little bit) of a theatre kid. I mean let's be real, she wrote an entire play for the school AND performed in it,,,my girl def is a little bit of a theatre girl. So with that being said, she listens to some show tunes from musicals (mostly Waitress and Mamma Mia)

Amber

-> She would so be a Y2k pop listening type of girl

-> Favorite songs would be "Rich Girl" by Gwen Stefani, "Just Dance" by Lady Gaga, HEAVY ON "Stars are Blind" by Paris Hilton!!!!!!

-> Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Gwen Stefani, Beyonce, if its an iconic pop girl, she listens to them

-> Marina and the Diamonds. IDK IT JUST MAKES SO MUCH SENSE TO ME I CANNOT EXPLAIN. Some of her songs just give that "it girl" energy and if there is an "it girl" of the Anubis house its miss Amber Millington. "Bubblegum Bitch" is blasted in her car with the top down (because she def has a convertible and its pink)

-> Ariana Grande stan. Probably had a stroke when Ariana came out with a makeup line and bought ALL OF IT.

Fabian

-> Fabian def listens to alternative music old and new.

->LOVES THE SMITHS! Like its almost the only thing he listens to

-> Favorite songs by the Smiths include "There is a Light that Never Goes Out" and "Please, Please, Please, Let Me Get What I Want"

-> Listens to the Arctic Monkeys for sure

-> Some other artists he listens to are Radiohead, The Cranberries, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, and TV Girl.

Patricia

-> Didn't Alfie call her like a "Punk rock/goth vixen" or something like that? (I can't remember the quote or the episode it is in for the life of me)

-> Regardless of whatever the quote was, this is our punk rock alternative queen right here

-> PARAMORE SHE LIKES PARAMORE (has a crush on Hayley Williams because I said so)

-> Had a Panic At the Disco and FallOutBoy phase for sure

-> Listens to the Smiths a little bit (because Fabian showed her some songs)

Alfie

-> Alfie listens to anything and everything I feel like

-> alternative, pop, rock, jazz, electronic, DISCO, hell even fucking dubstep.

-> If he likes it, that's all that matters to him. He doesn't care about the genre or style of music it is

-> I feel he would listen to a lot of artists from the 70s and 80s (idk if that's because of Jeromes quote about him being stuck in the 80s but it would make sense!)

->Loves ABBA, BeesGees, Earth Wind and Fire, and WHAM

-> When "Lets Groove" by Earth Wind and Fire was trending on tiktok, he played it every chance he could. That song has been banned from the house since.

Jerome

-> Like Fabian, he's an Arctic Monkeys fan

-> ADVID LISTENER OF I DONT KNOW HOW BUT THEY FOUND ME

-> Favorite song by IDKHBTFM is Choke

-> I feel like he would also love Childish Gambino idk why I just feels right

-> Secretly listens to Mitski. That boy has been traumatized even BEFORE he was at Anubis, he deserves to cry to Mitski

Joy

-> I think as a fandom we have concluded that she is also a swiftie. Her favorite album is Midnights and Reputation imo

-> HEAVY ON OLIVIA RODRIGO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

-> The Sour album was life changing for her (same can be said for Guts)

-> Literally her top songs of the year were all from the album. Jealously Jealousy, Favorite Crime, Hope You're Happy, Good for You to be specific

-> I can see her being a Harry fan

-> Definitely forced Patricia to go to Love on Tour (Patricia liked it, but she definitely won't tell you that)

-> She was a One Directioner so naturally, the love carried on into the members solo careers (had to miss class when Zayn left)

This one just feels like the trio to me. Bandits, supernatural entities, wacky errands and unsolved mysteries - it's all just in an ordinary day's work for them. And more to the point, no matter how challenging things get, they hang on to hope and friendship, and it's what makes all the difference. It really is all about your state of mind, and at the end of the day, you've just got to say it's all right.

This nautical song never fails to make me thing of Guybrush! Sure, by the time he meets Link and Graham, he knows his way around a ship much better than this song would suggest, 1) it hearkens to his background, and 2) the outlook of the song is still spot on - Guybrush will fake his way through anything with a winning smile, a well-developed snark, and choosing confidence.

"Ninja Archer" by Luke Cyrus

I mean, how do you think Graham likes to imagine himself when he's walking through the forest, dodging all the tricky tricks? Under a canopy of bubblegum trees (pink?) no less! Sounds like Daventry to me. And he wonders if he'll be the leader who'll protect the villagers... Yep. I'll take it.

Pluto is found and raised by Chowder and doesn’t meet the turtles until older. Due to being part Krang Pluto actually grows faster than the average, so when Pluto and the turtles meet, Pluto is almost fully grown.

I’m still working on chowders backstory, but I’m aiming towards a bounty hunter tsukumogami yokai. They try their best to raise Pluto but find themselves off and on jobs that are sometimes dangerous, so secrecy is an important necessity. Chowder is loud, sassy and very affectionate, however they are very temperamental and will hold a grudge if annoyed. Chowder loves Pluto and decided to give Pluto the nickname monkey due to Pluto’s love for bananas and need to climb on them 24/7, that plus they just think it’s a funny name.

A story where Prismo and Scarab switch places with Simon and Betty...

Meaning that Prismo is a mortal cursed by the crown (which has wish powers, instead of ice powers) and Scarab is his loyal lover that is desperately trying to save him...

Meanwhile, Simon is the 2D Time Master of the Time Room and Betty is the God Auditor (as well as Simon's ex)...

In this world, Prismo's original name is Peter Prism and Scarab's original name is Steven Scarlet...

Peter was a writer of fun fantasy stories for children and he was also a collector of magical artifacts...

Steven was a writer of darker adult fantasy stories...

The two met, fell in love and became fiancés...

Eventually, Peter found the Wish Crown and put it on, thus becoming cursed by its insane power...

Then Steven went to the future to save Peter...

Peter then later took care of Marceline and protected her during the apocalypse...

Countless years later, Peter had completely transformed into the Wish King!

The difference between Ice King and Wish King, is that Ice King kidnaps princesses to try marrying, while Wish King is more like a weird wandering genie that goes around granting monkey paw-type wishes to gain power... and the wishes of princesses are the most powerful wishes of all, so Wish King kidnaps the princesses to tempt them into making a wish.

Princess Bubblegum is the only princess that hasn't made a wish yet, which drives Wish King crazy (or crazier), and he keeps trying to kidnap and tempt her into making a wish to him.

The Wish King obviously isn't as powerful as Prismo the Wish Master, but Wish King can grant more than one wish to a single person.

Wish King also uses pink light beams as attacks.

Wish King and Jake still have a strong friendship in this story.

Since Wish King isn't forcing women to marry him, Jake has more respect for Wish King and even liked the guy, before even learning of Wish King's tragic origin story.

Finn only started truly liking the Wish King after learning about his origin story, thus Jake and Wish King have the stronger bond.

When Steven arrived in Ooo, he meets Magic Man, who is amused that Steven doesn't care about anyone except for Peter...

Steven and Magic Man later get into the steamy dream machine with Glob's helmet, where Steven gains Magic Man's powers when Finn breaks the machine...

But instead of gaining Magic's Man Hat, Glob's helmet fuses with Steven's body, creating scarlet Scarab-Like Armor...

Steven renames himself the Scarab...

Scarab gains a grumpy and cold personality, similar to his canon counterpart's...

After many times of trying and failing to save Peter, including trying to go back in time during the events of the Elements, Scarab tries to summon Golb to free Peter from the crown's curse (with Magic Man's help)...

Which leads to Peter, Steven and Finn entering Golb's stomach, which cures both Peter and Steven from their curses...

When the trio have a way to escape Golb, Steven stays behind to fix his mistakes and using the crown to wish for Peter to stay safe... and Steven ends up fusing with Golb... becoming the new deity, Scarolb.

Although Peter lost the love of his life, he's finally free to be himself again...

Day One: First Time

It's #hellcheervalentinesweek, and I can't resist a challenge. Thanks for running this one, @amandaashplease!

Eddie’s sitting on the rumpled bed when she steps out of the bathroom, flipping through her latest Cosmopolitan, tie around his neck and the top two buttons of his shirt undone. It's where she left him thirty minutes ago when she went to blow dry her and tweeze her brows and do her make-up and, honestly, she loves him, but a little effort would be nice.

“Seriously, Munson?” she says, and she wants to be annoyed, but the way his face softens when he sees her has her heart tippy-tapping in her chest.

“Wow, you look pretty.” He tosses the magazine away and stands, striding forward like he’s dying of thirst and she’s an oasis.

Chrissy demurs, says the bridesmaid dress is ugly and lets him kiss her anyway. Leans up on her toes because she’s waiting until the last possible second to put on her shoes and mumbles something about her lipstick rubbing off on him.

“I’ll wear your lipstick any day,” he says, a faint bubblegum pink sheen clinging to his mouth when he pulls away.

“I’d settle for you tying your tie.”

As remarks go, it’s pointed, but she doesn’t expect his muttered, “God,” followed by a half-hearted tugging at the silky, dark grey fabric before he buttons his collar. “I’m trying. Just…”

“Eddie, come on. It’s one day.”

“I know, I know. You’re right. It’s only, uh, the tie thing… it’s sort of my first time?”

“Your first time what?”

“Um. Tying one?”

Damn it. Of course. They’ve been together nearly two years, and she still does this. Forgets that their lived experiences have been worlds apart and that the things she takes for granted that a boy will know how to do, Eddie sometimes doesn’t.

“Sorry,” he says because she’s waited too long to respond. “I thought I’d just figure it out. How hard could it be, right? Wayne did it for me when my dad was in court, and—” He cuts himself off as Chrissy moves closer. “Anyway, it’s not like I spend much time in monkey suits.”

“I know.” She doesn’t make a big deal of it when she reaches for the silky, polyester tie he picked out on their thrift store suit-shopping jaunt. Evens it out before beginning to tie a half-Windsor knot, just like her mother had taught her.

Eddie studies her as her fingers wind the fabric around itself, tucking and tugging, Adam’s apple bobbing when he swallows. “You, uh. You’re good at that.”

“Yes, well.” She snugs the knot into place and pecks his lips for good measure. “I must be good for something. Come on, handsome. Let’s get this over with.”

first tumblr post hehe. i’ve been a huge fan of seduce me for years, i remember being in high school obsessed with the game. erik was my fav at first actually but then sam became my husband for all these years after playing his route.

i have a very diverse music taste so the songs may seem a little all over the place, but i hope you all enjoy nonetheless! i’m sure with the variety there will be something for everyone

(this originally was supposed to be a playlist for just sam but somehow became one for sam x mika bc i love them sm)

1. Therapy - Khalid

Mika is Sam's therapy, period. Although he initially tried to hide his feelings for her, he later recognizes his deep emotional dependence on her and how much he actually needs their relationship.

2. Hatefuck - Cruel Youth

"Will you love me tomorrow?" - Sam rhetorically asks Mika if he is worthy of her love, questioning whether he can live up to her expectations and fears that he may not be good enough for her.

3. Demons - Imagine Dragons

A more obvious choice, but like...c'mon. Sam is reluctant to tell Mika the truth about him and his past, however, it is impossible to do this because his past is who he is. Sam was scared to show his flaws and insecurities to Mika. Sam has a dark side to him but Mika does not get the full truth of this until Sam reveals everything about his past to her

4. Irresistible - Fall Out Boy

Sam initially had no intention of falling for Mika, seeing her as merely a source of energy. However, as they spend more time together, they develop a strong connection and unexpectedly fall in love with each other.

5. Sweater Weather - The Neighbourhood

In Sam's route, he falls deeply in love with Mika, finding comfort and solace in their intimate moments. Sam needs that feeling of warmth from the intimacy he shares with Mika.

6. Do I Wanna Know? - Arctic Monkeys

Sam trying to figure out how Mika feels about him by attempting to determine if she's showing him overt behaviour that would suggest that she has feelings for him (blushing, etc). I believe Sam would do this because of his anxiety about Mika's interest in him, specifically when she can be with a "real man" like James instead of him (Sam was seriously gonna ask James for lessons on how to be a real man and I will never, ever forget this)

7. Fell for You - Green Day

Ugh, this one. This song is actually how I picture Sam falling in love with someone, the vibe of this song just suits him perfectly. Sam fell for Mika and ever since then, his thoughts have been surrounded by her. Of course, our baby tsun tsun is gonna deny that he's fallen for her and has insecurities about their relationship because he believes Mika is too good for him ("I'm a mess and you're a work of art) and that he doesn't deserve a "perfect" girl like Mika.

8. pink bubblegum - lavi kou

First off, Sam's fav body part is the neck sooo...and Mika loves purple and kinda resembles that colour. and hickeys are usually purple so..ya i'm dumb ik. Sam may pretend not to like Mika openly, but he secretly fantasizes about being with her. Mika's love for the color purple resonates with Sam, and the idea of leaving hickeys symbolizes his hidden desire and the passion between them.

9. A Little Death - The Neighbourhood

This song makes me feel a certain type of way. I feel like Sam would want Mika to give herself to him fully at her own expense, knowing that she is participating in a relationship with a brute whose looks are "deadly" and who has an abundance of power and lethal allure, which creates that complex dynamic between them.

10. Animals - Maroon 5

This song reveals the intense passion and desire between Sam and Mika. The song depicts a raw, animalistic attraction, reflecting Sam's initial purely physical interest in Mika. It portrays his longing for her and the powerful magnetism that draws them together. As their relationship progresses, this intense attraction transforms into a deeper emotional connection.

11. Prisoner - Miley Cyrus, Dua Lipa

This song reminds me of "Chained the Monster". Sam's love may make Mika feel like a "prisoner" and the other way around with Sam feeling like a "prisoner" to Mika, but neither of them can forget each other because they have a passion that is so strong. Essentially, both feel like prisoners in their intense relationship, unable to forget each other due to the overwhelming passion they share.

12. Training Wheels - Melanie Martinez

Sam is not the easiest man to love or hell, even communicate with, yet Mika still has an immense amount of patience with him and stays with him throughout the whole thing in his route. Sam does not have a lot of experience with loving and trusting another person, and Mika is able to ease him through the process of forming a true connection with another person. Mika is probably the person who understands Sam the most in his route and Mika displays immense patience and understanding towards Sam. Through their journey, Mika helps Sam learn to love and trust, taking baby steps to form a deep connection with him.

13. New Perspective - Panic! At The Disco

Sam is a strong boi, and part of the reason for this is that no matter what happens to him, he never lets it defeat him. Sam is a resilient character who refuses to let his past define him. However, as his relationship with Mika grows, he fears that his less desirable traits will affect her. Sam hopes to become a better man for Mika while staying true to his strength and identity. The song also alludes to Sam's initial awkwardness and difficulty in opening up emotionally.

14. Religion - Lana Del Rey

Sam and Mika's relationship began kind of..rough, you know, with the whole kissing without consent (Sam obviously had his reasons) and Sam's attitude. Despite this, Mika chooses to stay with him, emphasizing her dedication to him and their love.

15. Mr. Brightside - The Killers

"It was only a kiss" (literally Sam and Mika's first interaction together, I couldn't resist) it was simply just a way for Sam to get energy when he desperately needed it at the time (Although he did feel at least a bit of remorse when he found out that the kiss meant more to Mika, as it was her first kiss) This emphasis of "it was only a kiss" reveals how to Sam, this should have only been a kiss for him to acquire energy, and nothing more, but it becomes so much more in Sam's route. Sam may also experience moments of jealousy when Mika receives attention from other boys.

16. Take My Name - Parmalee

This song is just adorable, I know it's about proposing to someone you love and wanting to spend the rest of your life with them, but besides that and it reminded me of when Sam shares his demon name with Mika, "Aomaris", which then helps her in an upcoming dangerous situation with Malix. It represents the depth of their connection and how Sam is willing to reveal a vulnerable part of himself to protect her.

17. Guns and Roses - Lana Del Rey

I chose this song because it reminds me of how Sam is quite a destructive man, a "brute" who loves destructive actions and objects, he also manages to fall in love with someone like Mika. The title's oxymoron reflects the contradiction between Sam's rough exterior and his capacity for deep affection.

18. Monster - Adventure Time

Sam's tough exterior and emotional guardedness stem from his difficult upbringing, where he had to learn to fend for himself. This song also speaks to how Sam is seen as a brute by pretty much everyone around him, so he is used to feeling like the "bad guy". While he fears being seen as weak, Mika helps him embrace vulnerability and understand that she loves him despite his flaws.

19. Broken - DNMO & Sub Urban

Ending with some angst apparently lmfao. This song represents the initial phase of Sam and Mika's relationship, where Sam primarily uses her for sexual gratification and fails to appreciate her as a person. It highlights his self-destructive tendencies and their journey towards a healthier connection.

20. Love is a Battlefield - Pat Benatar

I think this reflects the tumultuous nature of Sam and Mika's relationship. The song speaks to the challenges they face, the conflicts they navigate, and the intense emotions they experience while being in love. It captures the idea that love can sometimes feel like a war zone, where they must fight for their connection and overcome obstacles together.

There you guys go. This surely isn't perfect and there's a lot of my own self-indulgence in there bc I love them but this is honestly just supposed to be for fun and honestly a good distraction from a pretty hard time in my life.

I'm currently working on a mika playlist, which i'm actually having a lot of fun with i'm ngl. I find making a playlist so much easier with Mika than Sam (maybe bc she's a more simple character than Sam) but idk, part of me thinks I just understand females more than males lol. I found myself being very picky with this one, which is what took me so long making this
