hello!!! So I finally wrote a fanfic of Muzan being ticklish from that one headcannon I sent in a while ago. Here it is!

The Day Douma Found Out

Summary: Muzan summoned Douma for a private meeting, but things take a new turn when Douma gets a bit hands on (SFW)

His patience was already running thin. “Douma, you have failed to bring me the blue spider lily. Again.” Muzan spoke calmly, despite his harsh words. “Master Muzan~” Douma spoke from-the floor…”I’m so sorry…I’ve failed you yet again!~Oh what shall I do to repay you? Shall I chop off an arm? Gouge out my own eyeballs-“ “I have no need for your useless eyeballs.” Muzan cut him off quickly. “What I Need is for you to finally show some usefulness around here.” “Oh Lord Muzan~” Douma practically sang. “What would you like me to do!~Anything you wish for me to complete and it’ll be done~” Douma crawled over to Muzan, gripping onto the back of his shirt. “What shall I do for you?~” Muzan growled lowly. “You can start by-“ He stopped, turning his head away. “Hm? I can start by what Master  Muzan?~” Douma cooed, smiling brightly. “Y-you can start by-letting go..and standing up.” Muzan growled out-but, was that a stutter? “As you wish, Lord Muzan~” Douma released Muzan’s shirt and stood up swiftly. But he was curious-why had Muzan acted like that? He ran back through his actions-grabbing the back of his shirt, talking, and-wait. Douma stared over at Muzan, and a slow, shit-eating grin appeared on his face. “Why Master Muzan~” Douma slowly moved to stand right behind him. “Did you get a new shirt? This one seems different from your last shirt~” He reached up and slowly dragged his hand down Muzan’s back, not letting his nails quite touch him. “D-douma-get your claws off of me-“ Muzan growled out, his voice just slightly shaking. “But Lord Muzan~” Douma cut him off. “My claws aren’t even on you~if my nails were on you, it would be much different~Here, like this…~” Douma switched and instead dragged his claws down Muzan’s spine, shocked at the girlish squeal manlysqueak that Muzan let out and the snort that practically flew out of his mouth. And-holy shit-the blushthat immediately came to Muzan’s cheeks. Before he could process what happened. Muzan had whipped around and slashed his hand off. “Never. That-NEVER happened, got it?” This time Muzan spoke angrily, genuinely threatening him. Douma stood shocked for a moment before a wide, once again shit-eating grin appeared on his face. “Oh Lord Muzan~I wouldn’t dream of it~but…in case my mouth slips, to keep me silent how about we test where else you’re tic-“ Before he could finish, Douma’s head was sliced off. “No. And don’t-don’t say that word…” Douma couldn’t see it, but he imagined Muzan’s cheeks were lightly flushed pink. He couldn’t be more wrong-Muzan’s face was a flaming red bright enough to rival the tips of Rengoku’s hair.

I'm not much of a Muzan person, but the idea of Michael Jackson Muzan having a ticklish back is so real to me? Not many are bold enough to try, but Douma's willing to risk it all!

A small writing tip; formatting makes it easier to read your work, so spacing out the paragraphs in your fics helps the eye catch all the words vs a block of text- if that makes sense! Besides that, I really enjoyed your work!

I won't lie guys, not to play rankings but this one was top tier fav for me back in the day. It has a tasty blend of mystery, drama, and vampire creepiness. It's also quite easy to read, not in a way that lacks quality, just a style you can get into quickly.

Great one-shot featuring one of my favorite takes on a darker Gangrel. It also feels very... believable. Like, I can feel like something like this could've played out as a storyline back in the day.

I'll drop you my recommendations below, but you can go and take a look by yourself!

I live for food is a nice fic focused on the friendship between the Wicked Twisters through their shared meals (it covers the whole game, so you can see every iteration of the group ^^)

The song of friendship is a fic that focuses on the moment where Beat and Rindo team up for the scramble slam and explores how their friendship starts and gives glimpses of Beat's other friendships!

From the outside shows "An outsider's point of view on the changes between Neku and his friends" (quoting the summary here). It is one of my favourite fics, but that may be because I love outsiders point of views ^^"

Okay so I'm a little bit cheating for this one as it is a fic that takes place during the three years timeskip and not neo exactly. But it's one of my favourites! Fine linen and purple is focused on the idea of Joshua making friends with Eri and Shiki during the timeskip.

Special shout-out to The World Ends With Witches who must be one of my favourite multi-chaptered fics ever, there's romantic ships in there but they're not the main focus at all, friendship is. It's a witch and fantasy AU with pretty much all the characters from twewy and neo twewy!

Edit: god how could I forget Some New Twisters... It's the same as the one before, there is romantic relationships but that's not the main focus. It's a retelling of neo with the idea that Shiki and Rhyme joined the Wicked Twisters alongside Beat!

And now I'm sorry I'm gonna do a little of self-promo... I wrote two fics friendship focused, the first one being Helpful Fashion and focused on a meeting between the Wicked Twisters and Eri during Neo (mostly Rindo and Eri friendship), and the second one being How To Summon Shibuya's Composer, By Neku Sakuraba and focused on the Wicked Twisters friendship and Neku and Joshua's.

I haven't seen any self-insert friendship fic in the neo tag unfortunately :( but I hope you'll like the ones I recommended you!

Ao3 is actually massively culturally important and very very good at being what it is. I’m so serious when I say that ao3 needs to be protected as the anti censorship, by fans for fans, nonprofit, volunteer run, expertly designed archival site that it is. You don’t have to read or like fanfiction to understand that on principle, ao3 is a site that should be defended.

Ghost gets frustrated with you to the point of causing tears to well up in the corners of your eyes. He’s feels guilty, sure, but bloody hell just print the damn receipt. He avoids you for the most part. Until one evening when it’s pouring down. You forgot your rain coat of course, silly girl. He offers you a ride which you take happily.

After that he can’t get rid of you. You bring him coffees (how you remember his order word for word but not where you last left your own cup is beyond him) and giggle at his jokes. When a client gets too snappy or too loud he’s the first to step in - standing behind you glaring at them with his huge arms crossed over his chest until they back down.

listen. i know it's not 2014 anymore and i know it's just a throwaway line and that the russo brothers didnt intend for marvel action blockbuster captain america the winter soldier to become the tragic gay love story that never was but man. having steve say "it's kind of hard to find someone with shared life experience" in a conversation about romantic relationships right before the bucky reveal is so cruel. it's not just about steve and bucky obviously having the shared experience of being "out of time," it's the fact that they've both been stripped of their humanity in opposite directions. steve is a legend, he is an american hero and a national icon before he is a human being the same way that bucky is a weapon and a killing machine before he is a human being. steve knows that anyone who falls in love with him in the 21st century fell in love with captain america first, and that's just not him. but then the one person who knew him first and knew him best and loved him (not captain america, that little guy from brooklyn) so much he died for it is alive, impossibly. and it's a miracle because he's back and it's horrific because he's back under the worst possible circumstances. but to steve, the winter soldier is worth tearing the world apart for because he's always been bucky first. they find each other and suddenly they're human again. and maybe, despite it all, being "out of time" becomes a blessing, because in this century they'd finally be allowed to love each other the way they've always wanted to. like real people do.

like. no. the captain america trilogy isn't about two queer men traumatized and alienated by war and modern life rediscovering and reclaiming their humanity through their love for each other. but. i mean. it couldve been
