What is it that EVERY time when I feel a little anxious about a chapter, that for that and only THAT chapter no one leaves me feedback. Every time! XD No matter what fandom, what story... It's like a force of nature that keeps challenging my low confidence and make me either overcome the angst and keep doing my thing or drop the story.

Well I never dropped a story for the lack of feedback, then I wouldn't be writing anymore, lol, because most of the time there are about 1~3 angels who read my story and leave me some feedback and keep me motivated.

But I COULD live much better without this rule made by the universe to let me suffer in the dark about my insecure-chapters! :'3

The Barbie movie reminded me about how when I was little my parents were upset that I kept making my Barbie dolls kiss, so they bought me a Ken doll. The next day they found me having a funeral for poor Ken in the garden, he had died of tuberculosis. All the Barbies were in attendance and I buried him under our rose bush. I never used to leave comments but since I got into the habit of commenting on everything i enjoy it's been incredible. Especially when the author gets back to me about it and we get to have a discussion of what other ideas they had. One writer replied to my comment with a 5 paragraph essay detailing the Floorplan of the building the characters lived in and it was incredible

Anyways this is all to say that if you find a fic that just makes you want to scream from the rooftops, leave a comment saying that to the author and maybe they will join you and you can scream incoherently together
