look i’m just so excited about this au and i apologize in advance for being obnoxious about it, but i’ve been itching to write again and it feels so good to finally scratch that itch. here they are together and a little bit of stuff about them, which i’ll throw under a quick read more
aziraphale is a librarian, a collections librarian specifically, for a university with an archive of rare and early print works. crowley is a field botanist, who at the same university develops and maintains the on-site botanical garden for research purposes and use by students.
crowley leaves flowers in books for aziraphale to find, but the language of flowers is a voiceless one. will crowley’s feelings go untold?
between crowley speaking in riddles and aziraphale being emotionally buttoned up, there will be so much pining.
also. designing crowley’s tattoos nearly destroyed me. in the style often found in old florilegia, on his right arm he has black thorn, and on his left he has wormwood and clematis. on his chest is datura, apple blossom, and oleander, and on his back primrose, hellebore, garden anemone, and petunia. three snakes weave around and between the various floral arrangements. i will be suffering from the consequences of my actions every time i draw crowley where his tattoos can be seen but i have no regrets
the whole thing is still a very big wip and i’m currently writing what would be the first chapter of this story, but i’m having so much fun with it

Note
Otto subtly gifts his daughter(crybaby!reader)flowers by putting a beautiful bouquet of flowers on her vanity or in a vase
and the flowers have messages;
When they get in a fight and he isn’t sure how to apologize he places Hyacinths,Bluebells,Peonies, and olive branches (A bouquet for apology)
When her hears of bad news, or news he knows that might put her on edge, he puts a bouquet of Begonia,Oleanders,Lavender, And foxglove (A bouquet for warnings)
And when her and Alicent broke the friendship they had with Rhaenyra he sends her a flower arrangement of Petunias,Datura,Tansy,Thistle, and wormwoods. ( A bouquet for bitter ends)
<33
She'd have the flowers pressed into bookmarks so she could always have them with her.

I used to have a separate doll account but I deleted it awhile back. I normally post them on my IG now but still, there’s some of the ones I actually do have! Most of them I’ve painted myself and made their wigs and junk. It’s a pricey hobby but a lot of fun too. ❤️🥰❤️
Also, why not, everyone's names. Top to bottom, left to right, there's:
First image: Axiom Schema (is not-a-cultist but is shady af), Datura Kingcup (will happily answer In Detail a stranger's hypothetical question on a train), Oleander Wormwood (will gladly deliver copious amounts of glitter to your enemies), Daed York (only wants to bake snickerdoodles and punch fascists), Jamie Doe (only wants to make music but the world and ADHD said no, have all the drama too) and Lachesis LaRue (only vibes with morbid party songs with undertones of heavy substance abuse~~).
Second Image: Jamie Doe (again), Lachesis LaRue (again) and Amity Gris (died and came back as a ghost only to still be annoyed by basically everyone), Aster Foxglove (has memories issues but will never forgot regretting to hire Kitsch as his assistant) and Pretty Kitsch (The WILD CARD! Also, yeah, a terrible assistant but she's cute and fun so whatever~~~)

6, 7, 16, 17, 19 for the newest oc ask game? :D
Absolutely can do!! :D Thank you!!
6. What OC is the Mom Friend?
Oleander and Amity are the closest to being mom friends. Oleander spends a good chuck of Icarus’ Act 1 looking after Kingcup and Thyme, acting like their own Jiminy Cricket (at least through his perspective). And during two, Amity takes over being one of Thyme’s emotional support pillars and during their own story, they end up doing the same thing with Lachesis.
That being said though! Neither of them are …stereotypical mom friends. They’re not very sweet and comforting presences. They tell you no once and if you don’t listen, you’ll be for a world of ‘I told you so’s as you’re helped back on to your feet. They’re both kinda pissy and judgmental mom friends, mainly because they’re more logical than emotional and they’re both basically herding cats all the time and herding cats sucks, even on good days./shrugs
7. What OC really needs the Mom Friend around?
EVERYONE?? As said above, Thyme does need a Mom friend around during Icarus because he goes up deep ends fast and hard without having some kind of support system around him. Kingcup gets too deep into her own thoughts and ideas, and having someone tug her back into reality is almost a requirement. Oleander tries to take on too much on and doesn’t like asking for help even when he needs it.
But they all would honestly benefit from some therapy more than having a Mom Friend. They can’t just rely on each other to get themselves together, you know?? o:
16. Which OCs don’t know each other, but would get along great if they did?
I’d argue maybe Daed and Axiom despite the fact Axiom runs a pseudocult and Daed has a rough past with cults?? Like they’re both cut from a similar cloth and both of them are socially adaptable enough to see past the minor differences that might grate on each other initially to see the RAD AS FUCK SOULS UNDERNEATH IT. ✨ They get along like a house on fire! Daed would absolutely adore Disco Inferno and more so Axiom’s handling on it. Axiom would love Daed’s easy-going charlatan presence. They’re both just damaged but honestly chill as fuck people and I think they’d love being around each other.
Plus, pink-haired boys club forever~ 🌸
Too bad they’re in completely different universes. :’)
17. Which OCs don’t know each other, but would hate each other if they did?
I wanna say Oleander and Amity because they don’t really met within the story itself and they’d have the opposite thing as Daed and Axiom: they’re both way way too similar in terms of personality (very driven and stubborn assholes with more emotions than they’re willing to admit to because logic is simpler to deal with) and they’d both just grate on the other immensely within seconds. Neither of them really care to change either so I doubt they’re ever find any common ground outside of Thyme and that’s a touchy subject too. They’d just be petty assholes to each other (and honestly are whenever they do met outside of the scope of Icarus).
BUT! Since that doesn’t really count… One of Amity’s friends and Thyme’s tattoo artist would give Oleander all the not so subtle warning bells and red flags if he ever met him. On the surface, Robyn has an easy-going asshole vibe which is fine. Oleander’s a bit of asshole at times too, but it’s just little ways he acts and talks that would put Oleander on massive edge and he’d never put himself in a room alone with that man. He’d not sure why but he’ll always listens to his gut  when it tells him to 'fuck that guy’, you know?
On the flip side, it would endlessly piss Robyn off to have someone so outwardly put off by him, especially when everything in his playbook would just enhance that attitude more. They’re just vinegar and water. They will never get along to any degree.
19. What’s the strangest way two (or more) OCs have met?
Kitsch plummeted out of the sky and crashed into the ground next to Aster. That’s probably if not the strangest, definitely the most abrupt way two of my characters have met. ^^;;

Note
Okay but... but here me out... the triplets and MC coming back from watching a stupid cheesy romcom and stalking to talk with doorman (Blair I think) in the most ominous way. "What movie did you watch?" "Don't know :) We got kicked out near the beginning. :) Want some extra popcorn? Hiw's the husband? :)?"
Blaise watches as Lumin and the Triplets stumble into the building, laughing and bumping into each other as they do. He smiles, straighten as the group spots him and all four light up. It’s endearing, the way Lumin makes a beeline to say hello every time they arrive home from their day.
They’re doing it now, followed by the triplets like the world’s most chaotic ducklings. They come to a stop in front of him, beaming.
“Hi Mr. Blaise! Popcorn?”
They offer him the giant bucket of popcorn they’ve been cradling in their arms, making him laugh and accept a handful. Behind them, the triplets are also beaming, fond and soft in a way Blaise has rarely seen them.
“Had fun, you four?”
The tallest triplet giggles like a hyena, slinging an arm over Lumin’s shoulder. “We got kicked out of the movie theater,” he says, grin wide and flashing his fangs.
The shortest of the three rolls their eyes, flicks their pale hair out of their eyes, and jabs their brother in the ribs with an elbow. Lumin ignores them, or perhaps it’s more that they’re content with the triplet’s chaos, and asks, “How’s your husband? Did he get the promotion he was angling for?”
Blaise is touched that they remember the little things, like this. Little facts from conversations in passing, and happily tells them that his husband did indeed get the promotion, and thanks them for asking.
As the group leaves, Blaise watches them fondly. It’s nice to see Lumin with loyal friends, and it’s nice to see the triplets having a real friend.
