So you guys think we will be getting Side Order amiibo? The newest addition to Bulgari’s world of haute horlogerie doesn’t just tell time. The Octo Finissimo Ultra also tells the story of time, and the evolution of watchmaking.
It’s a deceptively state-of-the-art timepiece that (thankfully) doesn’t illuminate, bleep, or receive emails. The Ultra is aimed for a much more rarefied and refined wearer. Old world Swiss watchmaking, Italian elegance, and technological advances meld and juxtapose.
At 1.8 mm wide, it is the world’s thinnest mechanical watch, virtually disappearing with a side view. It took three years of research and development and eight new patents filed. The result is roughly the height of an American quarter coin, with a power reserve of 50 full hours.
The Ultra’s austere dial reveals some of its inner workings. Most striking is the laser-engraved ratchet-wheel, adorned with a working QR code. One can enter the matrix with a scan of the wrist.
This links to a virtual realm with content devoted to the watch’s design origins. The owner can also access their own individual NFT artwork, which also serves to authenticate the watch.
The Italian luxury brand is celebrating the 10th year of its Octo series of watches. This super-exclusive iteration is limited to an edition of only 10, with a price of around $440,000.
“This fabulous landmark that we are setting today with the Octo Finissimo Ultra is the fulfillment of a dream,” Bulgari CEO Jean-Christophe Babin said in a statement.
The shape of things to come is flat—and coded.

the balancing for item prices in salmon run is so fucked
i consider myself an above average player and i play fairly often and i still can't afford all three pieces of the octo leet gear. i think having every suit only be silver scales is a poor choice also.

I was thinking about my cookie run characters recently and I realized that I've mostly just drawn Seafoam, Blue, Coco and Octo. None of the other characters really have any story or personality yet.. So I thought hey! Why not pick out one of the cookies and focus a lot of time on developing them? So I chose Cuttlefish cookie to start with.
She's sassy, crafty, and has a love for all things shiny and expensive. Working on her backstory is easier said than done.. I plan to keep the concept of her being a skilled assassin pirate from another crew.. and through some kind of events, she wound up stuck with Seafoam's crew for a time. By the time she was able to leave.. she didn't want to. She really liked the people on this ship. So she just stuck around. Its very vague atm but I plan to keep working on her--
These drawings took me a very long time to make. Mostly due to the health problems I've been having.. but I really like this idea and overall it was very fun. I'm tempted to pick out another cookie and make a post for them too. Thinking Spidercrab or Ellie... oo maybe Louis..? 👀👀

MY THEORIES ABOUT ACHT'S EYES
Spoiler warning!!!
Acht's eyes are seen for a brief moment during side order's gameplay, and later where seen from pictures of Acht when they were not sanitized yet.
But thanks to @splatoongamefiles for providing more details of Dedf1sh's model, their eyes where confirmed to be of a Yellow colour.
But why are their eyes like this tho?

As far as we know about sanitized octarians, they were almost all potrayed with black scleras and teal irises (the sanitized octoling's eyes were never revealed, but they were probably the same as other octarians. Many fans got the memo since i saw a lot of fanarts of them with those eyes).
During Octo expension, Dedf1sh was said to be no different then any other sanitized octolings, drained from all willpower and no memories of who they were, being nothing then one of Tartar's pawns. Their passion for music was the only thing that Acht wasn't stripped from, so they could only play their tracks that echoed thought the Deep sea Metro.
In Side Order however, Acht doesn't seem to be this mindless pawn in the slightest anymore, their green skin and blue hair being the only thing that remain from their sanitization. Strangely, their eyes returned to their original colours. That's it. That's all that changed of Acht's appearence.
Why? How?
WORRY NOT!!! I THINK I KNOW WHY!!
First and foremost, Marina has got to have to have something to do with Acht's redemption arc since the two were close friends during their time in the army.
And also, the reason of Acht's eyes going back to their original colours is it may be because they were no longer under Tartar's control.
The black scleras and teal irises indicates that a sanitized octarian is still brain-washed by the "test-subjects-based ink", and their purpose is only to follow Tartar's orders.
What could back up this theory is agent 3's sanitization. It was only partial, but 3's eyes were still different from their usual colours, but when they woke up after being knucked out by agent 8, their eyes were back to normal.
That being said...
I have 3 possible theories about Acht returning to their senses and restore their memory:
Theory #1:
Following her escape from the Octarian army, Marina was trying to reach out Acht since they left as well a long time ago, but they never responded to any of her messages.
After Tartar was defeated, Marina went to wander the Deep Sea Metro. She must have listened to the music echoing and recognized the voice of her lost friend despite the fact that it was affected by the sanitization.
Marina went on a searching spree across every corner of the metro to find a sign of them, until she finally found them in their sanitized state. Marina had no choice but to bail them out of their hellhole.
She was determined to help Acht regain their sense of self and catch up on them.
Marina never told Acht about the Memverse though.
Theory #2:
After Tartar was defeated, Acht was still working as a DJ at the Deep Sea Metro for a while. Then maybe because they were not under Tartar's control any longer, the sanitization of their mind slowly died out, their eyes fading back to their usual hues, and they were able to flee containment, seeking to restore their memories.
After Acht fully regained themselves, they ran away from the Metro to find Marina. Unfortunately, Order caught them and brought them to the Memverse.
Theory #3:
Acht was still under the influence of the "test-subjects-based ink" even if we beat Tartar, but Order somehow found a way to get throught their mind to be put into the Memverse.
If you have anything to add to this theory, go for it. I'm open to feedbacks and opinions.

yes i kno i do a lot of agent 24 headcanons but what if. pearlina headcanons
(aka the other splatoon ship that makes up most of my brain's space)
so at this point i think we all pretty much get their lore - marina was an octoling solider that heard the inkantation at the end of splat1 and fled from underground, pearl was a richy rich inkling who wanted to start a band, they make out they get married they adopt agent 8 yk the Canon
marina's first impression of pearl was "wow this short inkling girl can scream"
pearl's first impression of marina was that she looked cool and would make her band stand out from the rest bc of her "weird" look (pearl canonically did not know marina was an octoling lol) it wasnt long until "cool" became "shes pretty cute actually" and then "wow shes beautiful" and it just went downhill from there
for pearl she definitely fell in love with marina's looks first,, shes not even gonna lie,, she can be a lil shallow lesbian smh
marina for. obvious reasons cant say she ever found inklings physically attractive, given the. yk. propaganda in the underground
so for her she really admired pearl's inner beauty first and most
i like to think marina was not on the ground *at all* when she was in the military. definitely the one controlling the tech from the sidelines so she never really had to hold a weapon
hence, marina cannot fight. she's too pretty & she will cry
okay well she did grow up underground so she can hold her own when she needs to but she gets frazzled easily and a little overwhelmed. definitely tries to talk or manipulate her way out of tough situations
pearl, surprisingly on the otherhand, can and will beat the shit out of a grown man
well she's scrappy so she'll bite them and claw at them and kick in their shins and they'll run away but not without literal chunks bitten out of them
anything for her queen ✨️🌸
when marina agreed to make a band with pearl, pearl was so excited she immediately suggested marina move into her home (her bodyguards were horrified)
marina,,, immediately politely declined and pearl helped her get an apartment instead
basically, despite appearances and titles, pearl is not the princess who needs protecting by marina , she thinks of it Very differently
pearl's love language is, obviously, words of affirmation and gift giving
her way of "courting" marina was buying her tons of stuff and offering to have people do everything for her so she doesnt have to lift a finger
it worked for all pearl's exs sooooo should work for this octo baddie right (she is not right)
marina's love languages are physical touch and words of affirmation...actually its mostly physical touch lol
yk marina hugging pearl so hard they fall on the ground at the end of octo expansion. and then she keeps Going
marina is "baby i want the most high tech weaponry on the black market" and pearl is definitely "my baby gets whatever she wants laws be damned"
growing up a only child in a family with a LOT of money means pearl definitely got the spoiling but. she never got the feeling of spoiling Someone Else and she prefers that waay more
marina does not have expensive tastes,,, but she doesnt mind being spoiled sometimes as a treat i meann it would be rude to decline n she was raised to be polite soooOO
if marina's friends from the octoling barracks saw the stuff pearl buys her now they would be in Shock
but dont forget,,, marina was team love so shes not overly impressed by *all* the gifts
of all the fancy music gear and clothes and things pearl has bought her marina's favorite gift has just been plain ole flowers
they dont grow underground obviously but theyve always captured marina, the smell the look the different varieties she loves them
when marina thinks of the beauty and joy of being above ground first she thinks of pearl, and then she thinks of flowers
pearl catches on that marina likes flowers and starts ordering her tons of bouquets and starts lining the hallways leading to her apartment with floral gifts and flowers in the shape of her head and all kinds of junk
marina accepted the gifts. politely ofc
but her fondest memory is of her and pearl doing a photoshoot for an album in a wildflower meadow. marina looked so beautiful and Pearl's crushing was driving her crazy so she gathered a bunch of random flowers in her fist and shoved them in marina's face because she had to give her Something or she was gonna loose it
marina felt so fond, she keeps the dry and crumpled flowers in a locket with her all the time
at some point pearl realized marina likes it better when She opens the door for her first instead of pearl's bodyguards so now pearl rushes to every door to open it for marina before anyone else can

pearl snores and drools like a dad of 4 who works a blue collar job 5 days a week and luckily marina is a heavy sleeper.

whenever they get into fights pearl Always is the one to apologize. not just because shes usually the one whose wrong but marina is scary good at being cold (surprisingly given how affectionate and sweet she is with pearl) and pearl absolutely Hates it, its like the world feels wrong
everyone notices because marina is usually all over her, so pearl gets pressured by her bodyguards to apologize too (they always know shes in the wrong)
marina makes it look easy,,, but shes usually moments away from apologizing herself bc she misses her pearl so much
pearl is one of those people who makes sounds and hand motions to express feelings and marina is usually the only one who understands
marina has literally made a powerpoint presentation on all the things she loves about pearl in great detail. and she will present it do not test her
she's perpetually in the "crushing phase" and gets so excited to spend time with her and pearls like "babe we've been married for 2 years i see u every night and day"

You just had this stupid charm to you that just drew in hordes of students. It was this calming almost hypnotic, presence that you possessed that made customers alike more palpable to letting their guard down. This helped in getting more customers to order the expensive (or expensive-er) dishes on the menu or convince them to sign a contract with Azul.
After all, if such a carefree, dopey little merfolk like you was dating said dorm leader, then surely he was trustworthy enough to make a deal with, right? And if anyone was still not convinced, then taking one look at the lovestruck expression on Ashengrotto’s face while he watched his partner lovingly, sure would do the trick.
To any outsider who didn’t know the couple personally, the two came across as completely innocent, what with the no-brain jellymer acting the way that they do. At least it would be fun to picture him as one still. >:D I imagine he fucks you in that form and calls it a private lesson after you submitted that abysmally incorrect report on the octopus. Obviously you don’t know the octopus well enough, but you will when he has you at his mercy in the water and he’s all you see, feel, taste… I think it wouldn’t take very long for him to fuck you in that form. He probably invites you to come with him on his winter holiday and you have no choice but to agree, otherwise he’ll just threaten your status as a good, diligent student. He takes you all the way across the world to a very nice, very expensive beach resort. The scenery itself is a dream vacation, but the person you’re with turns it into a hellish nightmare. Professor Ashengrotto has an entire itinerary planned for the both of you, but between those slots of free time he’s fucking you in the hotel room, in the bathroom stall for a quickie before lunch, on the beach in some desolate area where no one will dare disturb the both of you. And, of course, he fucks you in the ocean in his mer form. <3 obviously you weren’t paying attention in his lecture on the octopus, so he’ll just have to teach you all over again. Not that he particularly minds. How could he ever be upset with his favorite student?

EDIT: I ACTUALLY FINISHED THE GAME WOOO (just one run tho lol) im gonna write my thoughts under the previous stuff
OK SO. i think im a little..? dissapointed..? abt sider order?? like im kinda conflicted abt the lore, also i suck BALLS at the game
the thing is i have done 5 runs so far AND COULDNT GET A SINGLE WIN. the most i can do is up to floor 20.... im literally so bad at this game I ONCE DIED 2 TIMES IN AN EASY LEVEL. im newgen guys.
maybe im not fit for rougelike games but like... idk. i feel like me and the fandom as a whole expected so much more from side order. i feel like if the game is gonna make you replay the same stuff over and over again it should atleast have a SOUL CRUSHING LITERARY MASTERPIECE TYPE OF LORE like OE and Alterna
AND CAN WE TALK ABOUT HOW DIRTY THEY DID FOUR???? literally called them an irrelavent loser and then sweeped them aside... THEY DONT EVEN HAVE A PALETTE ICON???? theyre not even a secret boss smh.... agent 4 had so much potential I WILL NEVER FORGIVE NINTENDO FOR THIS. and like sure the parallel canon level kind of includes four but that thing is literally an npc??? like imagine what they couldve done with the story if they had included four in it:
when four is left out from the squidbeak splatoon they try to prove themselves by siding with marina with her project. it makes perfect sense. marina and four are both scared of being seperated by their loved ones. but four gets consumed by their anger and jealousy and goes full order mode LIKE DO YOU GUYS SEE MY VISION!!!! i will be forever mad that we didnt get this.
also why is murch out of all the chracters have a pallete??? why didnt they put in captain 3 or something????? sheldon i kinda understand since hes also kinda a part of the squidbeak splatoon BUT MURCH??? get the fuck out!!!
negative stuff aside tho. i love pearl and marina so much. THIS IS THE PEARLINA GAME GUYS!!!!! pearl literally mentions that marina and her sleep in the SAME BED???? marina is so autistic. my little autism creature. SHE MAKES DINO ARMS IN THE ENDING SCENE AUGHHHHHGHHH MY HEARTTT i love marina so much AND PEARL. SUCH A SILLY GOOBER. acht is so precious too... BUT I CNAT BELIEVE THAT THEY MADE THEM WHITE*??? ACHT IS NOT WHITE NINTENDO. anyways i love eight and her little found family full of lesbians. they are all lesbians your honor. we are raising lesbians in this house.
so yeah. i hope i can finish the run atleast ONCE. but like. idk i havent finished the game but side order jsut makes me feel. sad... and lonely...?? unlike octo expension where you could see more and more people using the metros and the chatrooms between marina and pearl are just AUUGGHHH OE IS A GAME. ABOUT CONNECTIONS OK. it makes me feel warm and happy and even though eight became traumatized i like to think that she healed and in the process met so many important people in her life.
in side order i dont see anything in eight*??? is she traumatized??? is she vibing??? is she happy to help??? I LITERALLY CANT TELL. side order makes me feel so cold and empty like do you guys understand what i mean. and its probably becasue it doesnt even take place in the real world. and the thing is. i understand that side order is supposed to be everything that OE couldnt be. i understand that. both games have their own quirks BUT. i just cant seem to make myself love it unlike any other story mode in splatoon...... im really trying to be not biased here but yeah. these are my opinions for side order
AFTER GAME THOUGHTS
HELLO. so yes i somehow managed to win the game. and honestly. the final boss was pretty fun and everyone was so cute at the end omg... but i still think that side order is a bit underdevloped.... i dont even know if ill try to %100 is cuz playing it makes me SO STRESSFUL im glad i get to finish a run BUT i will definetly not be touching side order atleast for a while.... but despite i had plenty of stuff i didnt like in side order the ending managed to make me forget all that haha
