We have a couple that is openly in love and devoted to each other. We have the goth family. We have them straight up in context being kinky.

I want fun family fics about them. I want gomez and mortica freaking it up! I want to see people sending their ocs to live with the family.

Come on my guys! They're like such a great set up for amazing fanfiction and there's been so many canons to choose from! I was expecting thousands of fics from over the years.

when toshiro got on laios ass for being inconsiderate and never thinking about how his actions affect others like he was mean abt it but hes not wrong. Thats a pretty major character flaw and a pattern of behavior for laios — w not choosing jobs that made money for namari who is in a pretty dire financial situation where she cant even get off the island and has to go adventuring in the dungeon to get out of debt, who even explicitly brought this up, eating marcilles familiar immediately even tho she was attached to it, kidnapping shuro into his party and putting him in life threatening situations without like really checking he wanted to be there…?, wanting to see if izutsumi has more than one set of nipples when dehumanization is a HUGE huge issue for her the list goes on and on and on. Like when a friend does this to you its just kinda annoying but when ur the leader u really should be checking if everyones needs r met without them telling u. Like the autism plays a factor for sure, his cultural upbringing plays a factor for sure, but as ppl regardless I think u gotta step up to meet the needs of ppl in the moment or realize u shouldnt be calling the shots. just bc its influenced by factors out of ur control does not make it not a serious character flaw. And its written as such in the story.

listen, i know that the red/blue colours are significant for Light and L. but like, why did they make other characters have colours if they don't follow them?? i remember watching Death Note, and being like "cool Light is red and L is blue" so anytime i see a character with either colour i will know who's side they'll be on" then the next character with a colour is introduced and its Misa, with light blue. what. like i get she has the red shinigami eyes, but why is the rest of her blue??? why is matsuda yellow. why is aizawa green?? at least with namikawa it makes sense that he's purple, he's playing both sides. but everyone else outside of Light, L, Namikawa, and Near?? what happened

(i hope this goes without saying that literally headcanon what you want: i'm criticizing the people who talk shit and can't accept other's people's headcanons. that's who i think is boring and annoying. there's complexity in Mizu's character in a lot of ways. I really cannot see how this headcanon is erasing any part of her identity. Please do feel free to correct me on this.)

I feel like ppl who hate on ppl who hc mizu as genderfluid are 1) boring, and 2) annoying. But most of all, they always use that dialogue between her n mikio, where she says she had to be one to enact her revenge.

Mizu is a person who is in an extremely sexist country, also being targeted for being mixed. In a way, being a boy was necessary. I also think that Mizu has found some comfort in being a man, in living like one. He prefers, in some ways, how a man is treated and is very comfortable being one not only out of necessity, but also because he likes it.

Now, just because he likes being a man, doesn't mean she also doesn't love being a woman. During the mikio arc, we all saw she was comfortable being a woman, she liked some parts of it even: being someone who deserves protection, who doesn't know how to throw a knife or fight for her life, who takes care of horses n cooks not just for herself; for her, being a woman means not doing what she has to as a man, which is fight for herself and enact revenge and live alone n all that.

At the same time, they're not totally a woman, nor a man. Because Mizu is not only about their gender, either man or woman: Mizu is a person who revels in both being masculine n feminine, but if they had the choice they would be both. They're part of both worlds (male n female) of edo Japan, and just as much as both worlds bring them immense amounts of pain, there's also a great deal of euphoria that they both give Mizu, and a mix of both is what gives them total peace.

I always think abt how effortlessly Mizu fought with mikio, since she was completely unrestrained and free there: both of her worlds were colliding and she fought in a way we dont rly see any other time in the series. Not only cuz she wasn't wearing her binder, but because all of her truth was revealed at the time, n she didn't have to hide any part of her then.

So yh anyways. Mizu genderfluid. And bisexual. And polyamorous.

Recently I’ve been reading stuff saying that Sampo and Gepard never interacted in canon, well… they have… lots of times.

Just not on screen.

In fact, when you first meet Sampo in the snow fields, Gepard is literally the first name he says, he even mentions him before he introduces his own self.

So I always found it strange that people said they never interact, like do you guys not have a Sampo or Gepard? They have voicelines about each other, Sampo claims they see each other all the time and Gepard is like, yeah he’s very cunning…

I guess it’s not unlikely to not have either character since it’s a gacha game but, Serval is a free character that everyone has and she talks about them… and Lynx even have voicelines about them too

Of course them having voicelines about each other doesn’t automatically make them canon as a ship, but the point is that they know each other and have met each other frequently— which is why people ship them.

They easily give that classic Cat and Mouse, enemies to lovers dynamic

So Idk why people are saying they haven’t interacted, and either way a ship doesn’t need to have on screen interaction for it to work

I think I would be okay with izzys death if every aspect (or a lot of it at least) of ofmd hadn't been a queer allegory. It makes it very hard to see what they were trying to say by killing off izzy.
