I don't remember the last time I cried so hard.
Doom Patrol will always be this show that just gets me.
I will always love this characters from this little obscure DC Comics show that didn't get the love that it deserved, but honestly, I'm okay with that, and so does its fans.

Queer experiences, Jewish mysticism, extremely compelling characters, first trans superhero ever
This is the volume with Grant Morrison and Rachel Pollack's time writing, and it's the most important for all of Doom Patrol's modern reading. The characters are all brought together by trauma and the run does a lot to deconstruct how that effects them and how loss really impacts you in every way. Doom Patrol vol 2 is also huge for DC queer rep, it's our first trans lady and cool lesbian Coagula, Rebis is an intersex person who banged Coagula and gave her powers, and Danny the Street, the nonbinary sentient street
