BOSCO AND DALI'S CREPUSCULAR MONSTER TOYS by Otto Rapp
Via Flickr:
AI created with Nightcafe I love both Dali and Bosch and had used them before at times. So this gets me back onto a different track again. Prompts: Absurd image of fantastic people and bizarre creatures engaged in senseless activities; photorealistic, cryptid taxidermy, Bogomil's Universe, post-apocalyptic wonderland by Hieronymus Bosch and Salvador Dali Surrealism by Max Ernst, René Magritte, Salvador Dali, Johfra Bosschart, Evandro Schiavone

Another sketchbook entry of "portrait hunting" as I call it. This was the first time I've gotten close to being caught in the attempt. There was a older woman sitting behind me with a cane who got up to speak to the girl I was sketching in front of me and she looked at me. I wasn't close enough to hear, the cafe was near a college campus. Perhaps the older woman was a professor, and wanted to say hello to a student she recognized, or they busted me. I couldn't say. I don't know how artists who really draw people in public can candidly approach their subjects and be vulnerable. I don't know if I care to.
Graphite watercolor on Moleskine artist sketch paper. 3 hours.
