My honest reactions of episodes 5 and 6 (part 1)

PART 2 : HERE

(‼️SEASON 4 SPOILERS‼️)

We obviously start with the ✨sadidas✨ Armand and Amalia (as we should 💕) coming back from the assembly meeting with the Eliatrope goddess.

Okay so were starting off pretty strong lol

I LOVE how Armand thinks about the Eliatrope goddess cuz yeah we were pretty much thinking the same thing (about how she’ll pretty much stalk them and will put her children in their world) and I just absolutely LOVE how he’s keeping his guard because of her and has become even more doubtful of Yugo. (Just look at his eyes as he stares at Amalia!!)

Because yeah, even though he wasn’t as wary of Yugo before, some hints were still shown in the OVAs when he called him “a king without his people is unheard of” but Yugo shrugged his comment off.

BUT NOW WE GET TO SEE MORE OF ARMAND SLANDERING YUGO and basically exposing Amalia acting “not rational” when she talks about Yugo.

Armand, my man, your sister’s clearly in love with Yugo OF COURSE SHE WOULDN’T BE RATIONAL WITH HIM (you should’ve seen how she kissed Oropo tho you would’ve lost your shit lo)

BUT DAMN ARMAND CHILL WTF ARE U RACIST AGAINST ELIATROPES NOW???!!? Same ngl 🥰🥰 I want more drama 💖💖

I just ADORE Az and his family playing on their tree Tofu tower they look so adorable ☺️✨💖 I already made a headcanon that Yugo and Alibert built it (while Chibi and Grougal just watched).

But all cuteness aside, in all my years of being a Wakfu fan, I literally never saw Yugo make that face before. Like it was so uncalled for that my heart literally dropped when I saw him like that. I never thought that the face of terror and shock (combined with the booming sound in the background) could go so well on him and now I wanna see it more!! I HOPE YOU TORTURE HIM ANKAMA!!

Btw the Eliatrope goddess is such a fraud and can’t think for herself even though she said she wants to rule a freaking planet but okay (u fucked up the first time by default when ur kids had one planet for themselves but ur already messing up ur second time cuz ur running away from ur problems when U AND NORA WERE THE REASON WHY THE NECROMES GOT OUT ARE U KIDDING ME- YOU DIDN’T CHECK?!!!???!)

Armand’s really trying hard not to say something racist right now.

I swear I will actually cry if this ended up being foreshadowing cuz honestly wtf…why did Amalia ever do to you people….My fear for Amalia was already there even before Season 4 so why do you gotta make my paranoia resurface like that??? Why do u gotta do me like that???? 😭😭😭

This is the guy who started a genocide against his own people and has more common sense than the GODDESS right in front of him. I get that she’s traumatized cuz of what happened to her but you gotta realize that they’ll always run after you if you just keep running, so the least you can do is throw your kids to fight for you. I just love how the only reason why Qilby is saying any of this is because for once, he’s not the one in control of the fate of the world and can’t redirect the signal or stop it himself lol

Ok, so I came to Japan to watch Utsukushii Kare Eternal and I saw it today. I don't speak Japanese and there weren't any subtitles but I wanna recap what I remembered in case other interfans want to know. I also haven’t read the novels so I only know seasons 1 and 2 of the story.

Spoilers very much ahead.

The opening scene is like the last scene of S1 where HiraKiyo are naked with a fuckton of tulle. But way more tulle in the movie than season 1. They're both also literally blanketed by the tulle. They are also laying around Hira's camera, and Kiyoi's necklace, and the duck. Hira goes to kiss Kiyoi and Hira is woken up from his dream and he's at work. Hira and Kiyoi are both at work and they are talking to the mentor and Anna about the other and it's a lot of intercutting scenes of them in the present both reminiscing and flashing back to season 1. No scenes from s2 are in the movie as I immediate recall. A few s2 scenes are redone like Hira saying "Kiyoi (sans kun)" near the other fans but it's different than the s2 version.

The HiraKiyo A plot as I think I understand it - Domestic happy life. Hira’s cousin is moving into the house so HiraKiyo look for an apartment together. (I'm not 100% on if she's moving in but she shows up and she and Hira have a talk and then soon thereafter HiraKiyo are looking for an apartment together). HiraKiyo take a bath together and ngl it’s really hot. Kiyoi does his shy look away thing after Hira kisses his hand but Hira keeps kissing his hands and shoulders. Kiyoi is turned away from Hira and facing a mirror and Hira keeps kissing and moving up on him and the camera gets in close as Hira is kissing Kiyoi all over. The camera moves away to the other side of the tub while they smash and you hear Kiyoi moaning Hira’s name. And Captain Duck is swept out of the tub by the fucking lmao. I think Hira feels guilty about losing the house so he cooks a lot of food (part of this scene was the bonus scene at the end of the Utsukare Season 1 special edit version). Kiyoi does get Hira to feed him shrimp croquettes. Kiyoi hugs Hira from behind while Hira is cooking. The under the blue cover scene has Hira mounting and starting to go to town on Kiyoi but he stops himself and walks out dejectedly. Kiyoi extricates himself from the covers is looks super flustered/turned on.

B plot is their jobs. Hira’s mentor takes some photos of Anna and later Kiyoi. Hira is an assistant for the Anna photo shoot (which honestly was fucking amazing. It was literally the expression “make love to the camera” it was in waterfall/pond and it was so hot and erotic and fun. Didn’t expect it but it was cool.) Hira doesn’t show up on the day Hira’s mentor shoots Kiyoi and Kiyoi is looking for him. Kiyoi continues to work with Anna but Anna gets pap’d with her secret bf and it seems like Anna having a secret bf is a big fucking deal. The fans outside the Anna Kiyoi set find out via twitter or something and then Anna cries alone a lot and the Kiyoi agency staff look very concerned and sad. Kiyoi and agent/manager/not as flamboyantly dressed one go secretly to Anna’s hotel and they have a talk. Then Kiyoi gets pap’d leaving Anna’s hotel so some people were speculating Anna and Kiyoi were together. Kiyoi is also facing some reprecussions from this speculation and he's super sad in his office perched on a windowsill reading twitter comments and posts about himself and Hira texts him and Kiyoi cries. Like the engine of the movie is the b plot after Anna gets pap'd with her secret dude and then people thinking she and Kiyoi are together.

That leads to the C plot/act 3 Hira’s stalker friend kidnaps Kiyoi. But for some reason he calls Hira to tell Hira he's kidnapped Kiyoi. (there was a lot of villanous monologuing while Kiyoi was bound and then the guy pushes him down and also kicks Kiyoi a few times before making the call). Hira goes full dark crazy Kira mode and shows up and beats the shit out of the dude. Kiyoi is pretty damseled in this scene and mostly just screams for Hira to stop and then Hira flips into cute "I live to serve you" mode and gets Kiyoi out of those ridiculously loose ribbons. Then the stalker dude is getting up and Hira is flipping back and forth really fast between Kira and Hira modes and ends up having to shove Kiyoi down and tells him to run while Hira and stalker dude fight. And Kira becomes like the terminator and is following the other stalker dude and beating him down but then he flips back into Hira and is walking back to Kiyoi while cutely saying Kiyoi over and over and other dude attacks Hira from behind and then stabs Hira in the stomach. Then Hira hallucinates Kiyoi coming to hug him (trailer scene) and it’s cut between that hallucination and Kiyoi literally screaming and crying cuz Hira is dying and then fade to black.

End phase/finale - Hira survives lol. Hira and Kiyoi help Anna out of her situation by having Hira’s mentor do a photo shoot with this random j-pop idol looking guy who ends up being Anna’s secret boo thing. Cougar fr. Then the end scene is a wedding themed photo shoot for Anna and idol guy. Then they ask Kiyoi to join them. Then mentor guy tells Hira to shoot Kiyoi and at first Hira can’t but then Kiyoi tells/commands Hira in Kiyoi's Dom voice and then Hira does and then they have a long photo shooting sequence and that’s where Kiyoi shows off his body. Hira graduates and he and Koyama (who is barely in the movie) have a "I'll see you around" kind of goodbye and then Hira goes to the riverside where Kiyoi is, a cherry blossom petal falls on Kiyoi and he picks it off like s1e1 and Hira is taking pictures of him and Kiyoi calls Hira stalker and they chat and then Hira leads them back to the school. And Hira confesses/declares/has a lengthy monologue at Kiyoi - he definitely tells Kiyoi directly that he likes him, while Kiyoi is like crying but smiling and facing Hira's confession directly. And then they’re about to kiss (all of their mouth to mouth kisses are interrupted or offscreen) and the teacher from season 1 is there at the school (for some reason at this unspecified date and time) and he is chastising them and then chasing them and Hira leads Kiyoi through a long series of slow-mo runs through the school while they switch/flashback into their old wardrobes - their full formal blue uniforms and their causal white/beige school clothes. And then they end up outside and have another water hose fight and that transitions into then hooking up at home? mouth kissing for the only time in the movie in a lot of tulle again. The ending sequence is their most high heat scene. Hira is kissing Kiyoi's chest a lot and a lot of mouth and neck kisses.

I think mentor guy might have had a thing for Anna and was maybe sad she has a boo thang and maybe Hira tells mentor he's dating Kiyoi so Kiyoi for sure isn't dating Anna.

I don't know if Kiyoi or Hira told other stalker guy they're dating. But both Kiyoi alone and Hira and Kiyoi exchanged words with him during the kidnapping scene.

the scene where Hira gets the "I kidnapped your boyfriend call" was really fucking well done. Hira is walking up stairs away from the camera when he gets the call and they drop the lights and make it super dark and that pans up into Hira's bangs and his Kira expression/kubric stare-esque and it was super cool

I think Yusei wears a shirt for Kiyoi that he also wears in his other series. The cloudy white and blue dress shirt.

The end sequence of Hira shooting Kiyoi was really fun and hot. Kiyoi takes off his tie and has it in his mouth with his shirt unbuttoned but tucked in so it's framing his abs. Apparently Riku directed that scene and I would personally like to thank him for his contribution to the arts

Kiyoi's theme wasn't in the movie a lot. The movie has its own OST and the movie songs share some melodies with the s1 ost but it was a lot of new music

the color grading was blue af. A lot of blue in the lights, glass, wardrobe, sheets, etc etc

I think Hira has told his cousin that he and Kiyoi are dating.

Hira, Kiyoi, cousin, and nephew all welcome and greet Anna after her scandal and Anna might hide out at Hira's place for a bit until Hira and Kiyoi do their surprise with bringing the idol into Mentor's studio

Kiyoi looks hella fond and proud when Hira interacts with Anna at Hira's house. And right in front of Hira. Later when Kiyoi and Anna are alone, Kiyoi says something including that Hira is gross and Anna agrees and Kiyoi blusters at her and she fondly apologizes

Ok that's the majority of what I remember. I am gonna see the movie again, so I'll update if I remember or see a scene I didn't recap here

Staged 2 thoughts!! (this will take a Year because I have a Lot of feelings)

Hmmm I don’t see how it’s a love story yet

Staged 1 works well enough on its own but the second season is really essential as a companion piece upping the emotional ante (which is exactly how I feel about Good Omens 1 & 2 lol)

The opening scene mindfuck; The meta! We have reached levels of irony not previously seen possible

Who do I thank for the tacky Zoom interview show background? It deserves top billing

HE DOESN’T WANT THE GOLDFISH TO BE LONELY (metaphor) and then it FUCKING DIES

Celeb cameos in season 1 being all “hey! I like you!” in season 2 like “you are tearing them apart. I hate you. scum

Also the themeing of Michael Sheen and David Tennant being on their own “side” VS everyone else……….. Simon Mr. Writer Sir i see u and unfortunately i am in your walls

The writing feeling less theater-y works for the meta and I’m wondering whether they always had a second season in mind or if it’s just that well written

Michael alone with the black frame lingering shot. Acting and editing and directing choices so simple and on point. everything hurts

Struggling to say goodbye on Zoom physically reaching out unable to leave the frame that whole scene was just. You can just feel the love through the screen, it’s so layered and intimate despite essentially being “No you hang up first”

Okay yeah I get it it’s a love story but I thought this was a comedy haha right guys why does everything hurt

It ends on that meta moment between David and Georgia which I can only assume is to set up for the third season although I dunno if that was planned at the time as well. It’s ambiguous but not distracting if they didn’t make another one

tl; dr: Staged 2 is a unique and excellent addition to Staged 1. The added meta textual layer of the other celebrities breaking down their relationship based on Staged 1 allows for a lot of “hiding behind my hands so embarrassed” moments, but also by pitting them against each other, it reveals their actual love for each other through the bickering. Season 1 on its own is a nice vignette of its time but season 2 with it adds a tension and intimacy that really takes both over the top

Kinda dreading watching Staged 3 since it seems like people overwhelmingly like it less than the other two because of the loss of the Zoom format and constant arguing, but I’m already in this far deep so I’ll stick the landing

My Ranking of TVD Seasons

*spoilers ahead*

NUMBER 8 - SEASON 8

I mean…do I need to even explain this? We all saw season 8. It was a mess. I felt like I had to drag myself through this season, just because I wanted to see how it ended. The only highlight for me was the ending.

NUMBER 7 - SEASON 5

The characters going to college was always going to be a strange transition - as it is in any tv show that starts with the characters in high school - and I just didn’t like the change. I can’t even put my finger on a specific reason why. It just felt different. This season also had the Travelers and Markos, who were just boring villains. The whole Silas/Qetsiyah plot was interesting at first, but fizzled out for me. The only highlight I could maybe pick out is Katherine’s arc. The show just didn’t fill the hole that the Mikaelsons left behind imo.

NUMBER 6 - SEASON 7

I didn’t completely hate this season. Ngl it was weird without Elena. That being said, I actually liked the time jumps in episodes. I wasn’t a fan of the Caroline pregnancy storyline, but that only happened because Candice King got pregnant irl. It just seemed to me like Caroline felt so bad for Alaric & everything he went through in S6, that she continued the pregnancy out of pity for him. The whole Alaric & Caroline “romance” (if you can call it that) was disgusting too. What were the writers thinking. I enjoyed the Damon and Bonnie moments though and Bonnie finally found a good love interest in Enzo. The Heretics weren’t all terrible either. I liked Nora. The Originals crossover ep was a highlight too.

NUMBER 5 - SEASON 6

Season 6 was a mixed bag for me. I really loved the whole prison world storyline. I thought it was unique and an interesting way to keep Bonnie and Damon alive after the S5 finale. It completely changed their relationship for the better too. Kai Parker was a great villain, one of the best in the whole series. I remember when he first told Bonnie and Damon about what he did to his family, that was the first time I was genuinely disturbed by a TVD character. Liz’s death was so emotional. Elena’s storyline this season was dull and I didn’t enjoy the whole Lily Salvatore thing. The season finale at Alaric and Jo’s wedding was crazy though.

NUMBER 4 - SEASON 4

Hope Mikaelson tutorial above 👀. Maybe it’s an unpopular opinion, but I actually liked Elena’s transition and then her no humanity arc. I seriously didn’t like the sirebond thing though. That felt icky to me. Her relationship with Rebekah from enemies to kinda friends was nice. Going to Silas island for the cure was interesting. Did I love the cure storyline? Not really, but it wasn’t the worst.

NUMBER 3 - SEASON 1

So many great moments. I just love this season. I will say, the pilot is a little rough, but most pilots are, so I don’t hold it against the season as a whole. While I’m not a Stelena shipper, I do think Stefan and Elena were very sweet in S1. Elena was also at her best in this season and season 2. When I say I like Elena, it’s this one I’m referring to. Damon was in his villain moment. The arrival of Katherine at the end was just perfect after all the talk about her throughout the season. I will say, I didn’t love S1 the first time I watched it, but when I went back and rewatched it, it became one of my favs.

NUMBER 2 - SEASON 2

This season? Oh this season keeps you on your toes. Elijah’s first appearance was so damn good. The moment at the school dance where Bonnie looks at Elena as she fakes her death with the sparks falling around her was a beautiful shot. I was so stressed the first time I saw it because I really thought Bonnie died. The build up to Klaus’ arrival and then him taking over Alaric’s body, so we kind of got a sneak peek of the character before Joseph Morgan fully entered the show was fantastic. I wish he didn’t kill Jenna, but he wouldn’t be the villain if he didn’t do horrible things.

NUMBER 1 - SEASON 3

The best of the best. The absolute pinnacle of the series. Season 3 was non stop action. It never got boring. And of course one of the main reasons why this season is number one for me is the introduction of the full Mikaelson family. The Originals brought so much to TVD. This was THEIR season tbh. They were the best villains ever in the series, and watching the Mystic Falls characters try to take them out never got old. From Stefan’s ripper arc, to the Mikaelson ball episode, to Alaric being turned by Esther, and then finally, Elena’s death and transition in the final episode; it was just simply a perfect season.

So I just watched all of season 5 and here are my thoughts

MAJOR SPOILERS AHEAD, YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED (I will also tag with spoilers)

•I loved how Robin and Sophie had such a connection without even meeting each other. I have a relationship like that with someone I care about how Robin was acted really broke my heart. It’s was so good. I was at the verge of tears (to be honest I was on the verge of tears so many times)

•MORE HUMPHREY!!! He’s one of my favorites so I’m glad we finally got more of him this season. ALSO Sophie backstory, glad to see it.

•Different relationships were shown, like Thomas and Pat, Thomas and Fanny, more Pat and Captain (finally), Julian and Pat, Julian and Alison, Robin and Sophie (I LOVED THIS SO MUCH), Robin and Annie, and long expected Captain and Havers. This all made my heart swell to see how much they all care for each other.

•Kittys death. Her death was probably very painful, with possible muscle cramps, and lots of nausea, and so much pain. I feel so so empathetic towards her. I just love her

•Thomas fucking came out as Scottish. I was texted my friends about that one, ngl

•my mixed emotions about Captains death. To start off with I 100% live for his backstory. I love how to just wanted to see Havers one last time, and just how they showed so much affection in some small hand touches. How the Captain died looking at the man he loved. That just broke my heart. My only complaint is that he didn’t get the much screen time. Like his story was so hyped up for about 5 years about we got about a whole 10 minutes or less of his backstory throughout the whole series. And backstory episode didn’t really revolve around his backstory like the others had. I would have loved to see him pining over Havers and getting clues to try to find Havers. We could have seen more of just Havers and why he was so important to Captain. This would have just made so much of a more impact to the story with giving them more backstory. I just want to see more of them. I am begging that we get more in the Christmas episode but it’s highly unlikely. Makes me sad.

•Captains and Havers names I think fit pretty well, but the fandom’s names will forever live in my heart. I headcanoned their fandom names to be middle names because I can’t let go of them. But seriously I really like the new names but still are going to be the Captain and Havers.

•Robin being very smart and picking up on stuff/ listening very well was something I wanted to see forever. Finally got it

•I love that Mike and Alison are finally having a child, but holy shit they are not ready at all. I adore both of them both so much but they are seriously at the moment very unprepared. I don’t know how it’s going to go at first but I think when they eventually get the hand of it they’ll be great parents. This might take a while

•Julian finally letting his feeling out. You can really tell he sees Alison as a daughter. I hate him but damn that speech was good

•ANNIE-VERSEY, all these Robin moments are hurting my heart.❤️

•Humphrey pranking the Ghosts with Alison was so amazing. YOU GO!!!

•Kitty admiring Alison but also understanding and caring for her boundaries the best she could.

•The Captain finally being more open about his sexuality and opening showing his attraction to the news reporter.

•When the Captain thought he was going to move on, HE WAS CLENCHING HIS STICK BECAUSE HE WAS PRACTICALLY HOLDING HAVERS!!!!! AHHHHHHHHH

•Fanny being good at poetry was something I didn’t know I wanted but what I now know I need

•The Captain is even more desperate than Thomas.

•Robins not only learned French but Russian as well

•More of Alison/Mike in the series. Absolutely love them

With season 2 of Loki merely 6 weeks away (idk, are you going to watch it? I think I will, regardless of my current feelings about it) what are your thoughts about the upcoming season? What do you expect we'll get in it? Do you have any hopes for it, or do you think it will be more of the same. The current promo does not give me a good feeling tbh. Also do you think Hiddleston could leave the mcu at the end of season 2? Or at least if this could be the last time we see TVA Loki. Awww, thank you!!! Season 1 was something I felt so deeply for! All my hopes and dreams were focused on it. And then it shattered me in a way I didn’t know was possible. Now, I see that it took me a full year to cope and decode what I was feeling. The metas I wrote during this time (including the survey) are more like an open diary of how I processed the show and stabilized my mental health. It means a lot to me that now those thoughts may help others, too. 💚

I’ll put the answers under a cut, because there are some triggers included.

what are your thoughts about the upcoming season? What do you expect we'll get in it?

Frankly, I expect the season to focus mainly on Sylvie and her character development. If I put my criticisms aside and try to see what the creators wanted to do with the series, it looks to me like their only goal for Larry was to morph him from a villain to a hero in a way that would be undeniable for the general audience. This was achieved by him watching the video and finally finding someone he cares for. So his arc was completed in season 1. His role now is probably to serve as a guide for her, and maybe to discover that his true power is only achievable through or with her. I don’t count this as “his” arc especially, but more the core of the general admiration Sylvie is supposed to get from everyone in-universe. It’s a part of being a Mary sue. As is excelling at everything, even stuff that is opposite to your characteristics and you have no former knowledge on that would make it seem believable you’d excel. Like this, you know?

I‘m quite certain of this because Eric Martin is a huge fan of Sylvie and the ship. If you want to confirm I suggest looking at his Twitter. His tweets imply he intends to stay true to Waldron‘s and Harron‘s original ideas. This was confirmed by some people working on the set of season 2. I made the effort to find the original post, and it turned out that two people contributed to the post I experienced as thoughtful and reliable on Reddit. I personally believe those leaks.

I think it will be more of the same. Sorry, I wish I could tell you something more to your taste. I absolutely share this feeling, and so do others.

This article claims that Tom was supposed to leave the MCU at the end of season 1. Allegedly, season 1 was supposed to have 12 episodes and only was cut short because of Corona. This would mean that the original end of season 1 would be now the end of season 2. Does this mean he will leave? I can’t say. Disney‘s stock is progressively decreasing. Social media opinions on the MCU seem to grow more and more negative and depreciating. Perhaps Iger and Feige feel like Tom is one of the last strong pillars and try to keep him. At this point, I wouldn’t put it past them to try to keep the MCU afloat with Tom’s personal fandom. I don’t think that will work since Google stats show that his popularity decreased after season 1 to a point where it is now below the level it was after endgame. But they might attempt it.

Or at least if this could be the last time we see TVA Loki.

Even if he leaves I assume cameos are always a possibility, especially now that the studios are utilizing AI. But Loki? I‘m heartbroken, but I am very sure we have seen the last of him in TDW (and Ao3). May his reign bring him all the joy he deserves.

So last but not least:

I honestly don’t know. I certainly won’t pay for it. The last time I always watched the episodes was the day they came out so I could write my thoughts down here. But ngl, I’m tired of the fighting, the anon hate, and the feeling that opinions online are getting more important than the love for Loki. Right now, I’m trying to focus more on my fanfics than on the canon. Season 1 made me unable to continue my fics for almost a year. I don’t want to repeat that with season 2.

I still think that the show has done great harm to the fandom, to (some) people with poor mental health who needed Loki as a focus point, (some) gender-fluid or non-binary people who got exposed to sexism because of it, and possibly Tom‘s reputation (based on the google trends Infos). But for season 2 we know what to expect. We know it’s not Loki but Larry who will appear. And in this case, I think it might be best to leave the season to those it was made for, so they can enjoy it and keep as far away from it as possible.

If you want to watch it and still want to give Disney some negative feedback, I recommend watching every episode more than 7 days after it aired. Afaik Disney only counts views in the first week as real interest. Alternatively, 🏴‍☠️.

Congrats on finishing! I enjoyed reading your thoughts, and agree with a bunch of the points made.

I wish Lance and Hunk had gotten more screen time that actually let us watch them grow more, and I personally wish they’d given us more bonding between Coran and Lance, I thought the scenes we got with them was very sweet, and not utilized enough, imo.

I wish they had left out the game show episode, ngl it rubbed me the wrong way watching it the first time, and every time I think about it. It was just so 🤥🫠

I also agree that we didn’t really get to see Shiro have any actual flaws, and really bummed we only got a few minutes of his trauma before moving on.

The Balmerans were so cool to see when they came in, and I adore Hunk and Shay

Same! Throughout the majority of the series, I kept wondering if Lance even had a family because they were never mentioned (unless I'm forgetting some info from very early on in Season 1). Turns out, he had a huge family. He did say he missed them in Season 2 maybe? But we didn't really get to know anything about his life prior to being a paladin/in the Galaxy Garrison. He also didn't really seem to have any special interests or hobbies. Think we only really saw him practicing his weaponry/fighting skills once Keith left (or maybe during the time when Keith took leadership the first time).

We did get to know more about Hunk's family in the later seasons. Again, would've been nice to hear about his close connection to his family earlier on.

Yes! Coran and Lance had some fun interactions! They definitely could've had more personalized moments between the Voltron crew. We got more of that in the earlier seasons, I believe. Like with Shiro and Pidge. Lance and Keith. Those types of combos are fun. I did like that Hunk and Pidge got closer in later seasons. It also felt like they set Lance and Hunk to be besties in the first few episodes of the show, but then they just kinda had the same amount of interactions as everyone else. Might have been nice for them to have more moments together like Shiro and Keith did.

BIG AGREE. I hated the game show episode. I zoned out through most of it. I was just like this is such a waste of episode time.

Yeah! In fact, they could've leaned into the perfectionist aspect and had that weigh heavy on Shiro. Or they could've given him more micro-managing tendencies with him trying to tell the others what to do too much. That would've opened up some interpersonal conflict for Shiro to work through. I also would've been fine if he had lost his shit more often because that was extremely entertaining 😌.

Shay was so sweet 🖤.

my thoughts on aggretsuko season 5:

so ik i haven’t talked about this show on here but honestly it’s kind of a watch the new season and forget about it kind of a show for me. but i do really like it so here are some of my thoughts.

1. tsunoda and fenneko should have ended up together or at least really good friends. they’re bromance was a really good place for their arcs to go, both of them finding true feminism in a girls supporting girls way and i would have liked to actually see that happen in season 5.

2. please do gori and washimi some justice, they are really amazing characters and they were shoved to the side as gossip girls this season it makes me sad. gori might be my favorite character in the show so i would have liked to see her arc about finding love get resolved as well as retsukos.

3. tadano had just become a deus ex machina rich guy which is kinda funny and on point but also really annoying sometimes from a narrative and character standpoint. tadanos one of my favs i would have loved to see him get actual development or even a character moment that doesn’t revolve around retsuko.

4. ton is perfect these last two seasons no notes on that front honestly.

5. the otm crew was also used as just a plot device this season and i felt like manaka and hyoto were really ooc. they just felt really over exaggerated especially because we got to see a lot of down to earth moments with those two in season 3.

6. i feel like all of retsukos character development she’s been getting throughout the show, especially last season, got flushed down the toilet this season so they could make it more haida centric. like she had her whole confidence cool girl thing last season and this season it really fell to the wayside.

7. i actually liked the haida homelessness arc and i think that could have been a really good way for this season to go if they actually gave it the time of day. the campaign arc was stupid and incredibly forced and robbed the show of a good or meaningful ending. ik they were probably trying to push a political statement i don’t get the full context of, but they could have done that with the whole homelessness thing, they didn’t need to push it into a political campaign because there’s a campaign season in every slice of life show and it’s never good. egirl and constructions guy (i forget their name) we’re really good characters i wish we saw more of them.

8. the wedding. this was honestly the biggest cop out of the entire show and it pisses me off to no end. season 1 retsuko gets into trouble with ron because she wants to get married and quit her job. season 2 she dumps my boy tadano because she wants to get married and he doesn’t. season 3 she leaves otm girls and wants a simple life and a wedding. season 4 she half dumps haida because he needs to get his shit together so they can get married. and you’re telling me we never actually see a wedding??? just a blink and you miss it marrige certificate??? all so they can focus on this stupid campaign???

9. season 5 wasn’t meant to be an ending and that’s pretty clear. they had to many ideas to make a proper wrap up to the show and that left us with a really shitty finale to say the least. everything they’ve been building up for four seasons got shoved over to make room for the arcs of this season and it just makes me sad ngl.

tldr; the writers lost focus on the show for shiny new arcs this season so it was a really bad ending and i wish there was more so we could get a good conclusion for al of the fun characters.

I sort of wish Vex, and even Pike to some degree, held more reservations towards helping them like Percy did. They didn’t need to be as vehement, but it really felt like they were just vessels to hand BH the story. I wouldn’t have like that level of just giving the characters what they want from any NPC, but especially former PCs that I feel should have more depth.

Yeah, just made my post about Vex specifically (again, Pike I'll buy because of the fundamental tenets of the Everlight) and I like how Percy was played (and I think Keyleth just completely dipping was pretty funny, ngl) but as I said about 4SD, I truly, truly do not understand how Matt, an experienced DM, did not think that having a character on a specific mission for Keyleth and who lost his husband and father-in-law defending her would not come up as an shortcut solution. I actually am not terribly annoyed at not going into the depth of former PCs because you can watch 115 episodes of Campaign 1, 3 seasons of TLOVM, and 2 sourcebooks if you want that; but it is true that they kind of feel like vessels to achieve a resurrection. Like, on some level, it's like...if you want to revisit Whitestone, run some one shots?

For what it's worth having an astral projection-like excursion is actually a pretty good way to handle it and I'm enjoying that a lot! But I keep coming back to the following, and keep in mind that I am not Asian nor north African, but like, it really fucking sucks that we have a campaign set on Marquet, and that all this effort was put into getting sensitivity consultants to work on Marquet, and then we're doing the Whitestone Nostalgia Tour instead, when it would be so easy for Eshteross (or Manaia or whoever) to have a long-shot contact in Ank'Harel who could achieve the same thing while expanding what we know about the world and without all this weird baggage.

i was tagged by @trampledundercas to talk about 8 shows to get to know me, thank you for the tag!

i’ll be talking about the shows in the chronological order in which i started to watch them, to make it easier for myself lmao.

1. buffy the vampire slayer: listen. if there is just one show. one piece of media on this earth, that you need to know about in order to understand me, it’s buffy. this show came out when i was a kid, and i watched it even though i hardly grasped what it was about back then. all i knew was that david boreanaz was hella hot and also buffy + angel forevah. obviously, as i grew up, my opinions changed, and they continue to evolve even now. (for example: season 2 was my favorite season for the longest time, but the last couple of years, season 5 sneaked up on me and is now my favorite season). every time i rewatch it, i get something new out of the experience. the way i talk, my humor, my taste in media and ships, my very being has been influenced by this show. i know in my heart that this will always be my favorite show.

2. dawson’s creek: listen. i can’t really explain this one, except for the fact that it definitely solidified my love for the friends to lovers trope, and the enemies to friends to lovers trope. it is just *chefs kiss* and yes i also watched this way too young but ehh i survived.

3. the o.c.: i was old enough to browse the internet when this show came out, thus i finally stumbled upon livejournal, and by extension, fanfiction. this was the first show i ever read fanfic for, and also m/m fanfic that i wasn’t looking for but that definitely rewired my brain for good. so. yeah. ever since, i have been permanently online. so there is that! plus - and this is a big factor too - it literally shaped my music taste to this day. next to the national, my favorite artists/bands are death cab and rachael yamagata, who i was introduced to by the o.c.

4. the office u.s.: next to the o.c., the office u.s. was a show i read a LOT of fanfic for at a formative time in life. jim/pam was my jam (hah. the ones who know, know). again: friends to lovers.... cannot get enough of it. i will say this though: once they get together, unfortunately the show did lose it’s spark for me. but alas. season 1-3 will always have a special place in my heart.

5. how i met your mother: i have a very complicated relationship with this show. a love/hate relationship, if you will. those who are familiar with it, undoubtedly know why. but this WAS a great show imo, at least when it went with the flow. again, the enemies to friends to lovers of it all.... yeah. that plus nonlinear storytelling? hellooo. sign me tf up.

6. the wire: this show was just so good. SO GOOD. it was like watching a novel come to life. it definitely changed the way i look at tv, and made me appreciate long form storytelling.

7. breaking bad: this is purely a case of excellent television. it didn’t change me as a person, perse, but i cannot picture my life withouth this experience. i binged the first 3 seasons when i was sick, in the hiatus before season 4, and watched the last two seasons live. my friends and i had a watch party for the series finale, we baked a cake and made fake blue crystal meth, it was a whole thing lmao. good times indeed.

8. supernatural. need i say more?

chicken girls s10 opinions! (since the final episode came out today)

this season was honestly ROUGH with many different details that made it better and worse in some ways?

season 10a (episodes 1-10):

• the beginning of season 10a was such a slow beginning! getting through the first few episodes was such a bore and i would often skip weeks of watching😭

• i love brat for trying out the parallel between the second gen (s7-9) and third gen (s10) plot lines but i hated it! I’m sorry!!! it was kind of messy and pointless to say the least

• ivy is a boring protagonist and that’s that. after having iconic characters like rhyme and harmony as our leads, ivy didn’t have the spark that they did? she got severely better in 10b (will go in depth later) but she was such a bitch all of 10a!

• kara and ivys beef was honestly funny to watch. im somewhat of a kara stan so to see their beef that was REASONABLE was entertaining and one of the saving graces of 10

• you could tell the writers were bored out of their minds making this season! half of the plot points were either dropped mid season or not even fully developed!!

• bailey and her brother were kind of annoying im sorry. she felt like a sport version of leyla that was whiny literally the WHOLE season. this isn’t the actors fault at all, it’s simply THE WRITERS FAULT

• jj was a chill character. i liked her and she made sense. her home plot line was really sad and bailey had her best moment in the whole season by helping jj which i enjoyed. jj and bailey are one of my fav ships this season btw, they were cute and i enjoyed watching them! (sorry reading this back, this sentence made no sense😭)

• the gen 2 chicken girls were so boring in 10a. i feel like the writers just wanted to keep them in so ppl would still watch for one reason or another. in result of this, they got the dumbest plot lines in the show. I MEAN WHAT WAS THE TEST PLOTLINE W SIMONE AND PETRA?! my girl simone went through sm in 10b tho which ill go in depth on later obvi

• why did poppy do a full personality 360 from forever team? made no sense whatsoever!

• LOVE LOVE LOVE that we brought the dance team back!? it was random but i loved the og plot w the dance team and all that

• petra was a bitch in 10a and i loved her sm😆 she was a better written character than the 4 lead girls and idk why the writers did that but slay!

• kara x bailey, i was waiting the whole god damn season for and we didn’t get it😭

• the best character award goes to finn! he wasn’t annoying and remained my favorite character the whole season. some of y’all bout to hate but he was the best male character chicken girls has SEEN. he was such a better love interest that both walker and tk

• ivy and finn were cute ig? idk they got a build up which i liked but it was also out of nowhere

• i hate theo sm what😭 he was attractive but like he as a total bitch to BOTH petra and ivy! he wasn’t a one dimensional character but wasn’t two dimensional either? (iykyk)

• 10a was messy and i didn’t like most of it sorry😭 BUT 10B WAS SO MUCH BETTER I PROMISE

10b (episodes 11-20)

• UGH WHAT AN UPGRADE THIS WAS!! the second half of the season took like 3 months to come out BUT THE WRITERS NEEDED IT!

• finn, kara and jj were such a trio this second half and i LIVED for it! they were so supportive towards each other

• bailey tempering with more stuff she shouldn’t be dealing with YET AGAIN!! she didn’t need to do that whole thing for ben and set him up w a girl that was literally sapphic and liked her😭

• ivy tryna kiss petras man? kinda bitchy but it was fun to watch more in 10b than 10a? ivy and theo were also kinda cute ngl and they had chemistry

• SIMONE AND CLAIRE WERE AT EACH OTHERS THROATS.

• bailey got better FINALLY. getting her OWN plot line without having to temper with other peoples? YES YES YES. and it was abt trust issues too. ugh so real girl

• petra was so real all of 10b and also deserved SO MUCH BETTER OMG. i felt so bad for her the whole second half

• the whole football, dance crossover bailey thing was kind of a smart move on the directors part? idk it was kinda boring but also gave bailey MORE DEPTH WHICH SHE NEEDED!

• kara for more screen time!!

• kara and ivy had that really cute moment where they forgave each other and ended the rivalry. absolutely loved that

• ivys eating disorder was so important and a great plot point. i love that she was able to open up to the team! my only criticism was that (again, like most of the season) came out of nowhere!

• i feel like they could’ve afforded a better set. you could even tell regionals wasn’t even real bc they didn’t even have a stage

• bailey and sage! i liked them ngl and i hope sage comes back

• why did ivy go back to finn? like she wanted theo the whole season and then went back to him?…I LOVED IT! again, gave the season a bit of spice towards the end which came back to me wanting more!

• the last two episodes were REMARKABLE! 10B WAS GOOD AS IT STARTED OUT BUT UGH GOT SO MUCH MORE INTERESTING AND I WAS SO EXCITED TO SEE THE NEW EP TODAY

• petra needs to come back. i miss her already :(

• i lowkey thought jj and finn were gonna happen but I GUESS NOT. no but i also feel like jj was hinted at as being sapphic. she said smth like "the upsides of being a lesbian are.." and idk if that was referring to bailey or not but i found that interesting

• the group dynamic wasnt there until the last three episodes which was like again, the writers fault but them getting the bracelets out of nowhere was so confusing

• THE LGBTQ SHIPS THIS SEASON (canon and non canon) WERE SO GOOD BYE- BAILEY WAS DEF A SHIPPABLE CHARACTER AND UGH I JUST LOVED IT. FINN MY TRANS BABY!!

• now finally, the gen 2 chicken girls and they're PLOTLINE THIS SEASON. 10a was pointless but 10b. wtf was going on! nothing was working out and simone deserved sm better. claire and bel were SUCH trashy friends. poppy wasn't even given a bracelet so idk why she thought she was a chicken girl?! the existence of leyla was also 100% wiped and it felt like everyone forgot her?? claire also got so mad at simone for giving the bracelets away when she and bel didn't even care about the group the whole season💀

final thoughts:

sorry this was like a 85% bashing on the new season but chicken girls has gotten such a downgrade over time. the fans honestly deserve better if any of them are even still watching lmao. i think we are getting a season 11 bc of the cliffhanger as well as corrine joy (simone) posting a tiktok of them filming. if we do get a season 11, ill probably tune in and give my opinions but that's all for now. i would say to the chicken girls fans and anyone else to give this season a watch in your free time. it isn't terrible but it isn't the best we've ever seen from chicken girls *ahem seasons 3 and 7*. anyways, yeah it is worth somewhat of a watch. the start of the season compared to the ending is astronomical on how much of a change it was. ok bye now haha

10 Anti LO Asks

(Note: Most of these asks are before episode 206 (Season 2 finale) became general so some may be dated.) 1. I wish I could re-write this damn comic so the underlying threat wouldn't look and feel so out of place and rushed. One thing I think would help is the introduction of eris being a little earlier. And to have her interact in some way with *every* character. Maybe keep the symbolism with the feathers (every time a character does that stupid red eye thing maybe a feather can be seen? I dunno). And hell, why not have her working with Kronos? What's more chaotic than bringing back an old god king? I just...ugh.

2. Am I supposed to be on Hades’s side right now? Because Zeus seems awfully sympathetic right now. Zeus was just given a backstory of watching his mother die, and he seems reasonable about Persephone’s age and the possibility of a waning interest in Hades in the future. Hades seems to get rid of all reasoning towards his brother, despite Zeus desperately trying his best with what he has. Right now Hades seems like an obsessive man in power that seems to treat Persephone like an object. At least Zeus seems to try to see in Persephone’s perspective for her future. Hades is worsening relations between the realms over Persephone who was still trying to understand her place in the world. Hades just seems like an obsessive stalker and Zeus might be one of my new favorites in the story.

3. Hades gouged a guy's eye for taking pictures of Persephone without permission but literally physically held a visibly uncomfortable Minthe in front of cameras like a hunting trophy. Messed up, dude.

4. If RS wanted to make Morpheus a trans woman or non-binary why is the character a "Goddess" and with she/her pronouns while retaining the name "Morpheus" which is a clearly male name and declares the opposite of the above? To me it seems less like gender non-conformity, and more like RS doesn't know how gendered names work ooor she knows but keeps the male name for the "greek god brand" and to keep the character recognizable. I just can't feel she did it in good faith.

5. Omg I just finished reading the season finale and it was so bad. Persephone didn’t even have to try to defeat Kronos at all like at least one more episode would’ve been better but nope. Ngl I only bought fast passes for the end of this chapter bc I thought it was the last one but apparently there’s gonna be a third season? So ig they’re just gonna figure out how to deal with Apollo’s story and Demeters feelings towards Persephone and Hades? That’s all I can think of that they would have to fill a whole season of.

To be completely honest, I never liked retellings of Persephone's Abduction where she fell in love with Hades in general. They always seem like shitty fanfiction and are rarely "feminist and empowering". In my opinion it would be more feminist to tell the myth as it is: Persephone is kidnapped against her will and forced to stay. Because most of these retellings tend to demonize Demeter (for being a good and caring mother in the myth?) and in doing this makes it hipocritical since this myth's intention was not only to explain seasons, but to explore the bond between a mother and her daughter, having Demeter go against Zeus and Hades to get Persephone back.

Again Persephone's myth should just be told like it is, because it makes it more feminist to have Persephone's story told truthfully instead of romanticizing her kidnapping amd making Hades the good guy in it.

7. I never really pegged Persephone as a Mary Sue/creator's pet until she defeated Kronos so easily and smugly. And singlehandedly when even Zeus couldn't do anything. As an antagonist who should be way more powerful and has been built up over multiple seasons, the battle was a letdown

Hmm, about the fertility power thing, it’s disgusting, mostly because Rachel is ignoring the struggle it represented for the ancient Greeks when it came to giving birth and the ricks of dying at child brith. Heck, Hera is a fertility goddess in the sense she can bless you in order to have babies, as long as you were part of her cult, similar to Aphrodite, fertility wasn’t a super special Awesome power it was a RESPONSIBILITY. One the plenty women fear for since dying for child birth was a big possibility for them, there is even a myth were Ares was hearth broken at the death on one of his lovers and unfortunately was the one how let his child drink from her death body’s breast in tears. Yes, fertility was important in Ancient Greece as it allow families to expand, however it was also a risk for plenty and not all woman and men were gifted with it. Even Zeus a male fertility deity, was in charge of providing of his family as his duty as the patriarch. In Ancient Greece, power came with responsibility, power wasn’t just a gift that made you more special out of nowhere. Instead Rachel represents power as Hedoism, that others can exploit. And making fertility a part of that kind of explotation is just…just wrong.

Young Royals s2 spoilers warning !!!

So thoughts on Season 2 after my first watch:

Honestly, I don’t really know how I feel about Season 2, I loved it but also maybe I’m kinda disappointed? It had a completely different feel to it compared to Season 1 and I enjoyed it but it wasn’t what I initially expected

-I didn’t like that there was way too much screen time for August and Sara. Them being together was obviously essential to the plot, but I felt it was unnecessary to have that many ‘cute’ scenes between them. Maybe the point of it was to make the audience like or ship them or whatever but honestly, I was just annoyed every time they were on screen. Also HATED the August next in line arc but it is what it is (it just doesn't make sense, he's literally not even a first cousin)

-I liked Markus and Simon at first ngl and they were cute at karaoke, but I definitely feel like it was dragged on too long and it could have been wrapped up earlier in the season. Like it was good for Simon to have the chance to try something new and not be held back by Wille, but when Simon told him he wasn’t ready it should have ended then instead of having Markus be some manipulative weirdo and after that have Simon cheat on him

-There was basically no Wilmon. Like at all. Most scenes they were on bad terms and barely even talked the whole season. I really would have liked some fun/nice scenes between them, even just getting along or laughing together or something (instead of the 10000 we had for August/Sara ew) because it just feels rushed that they suddenly are back on after having like no communication for months

-I’m really disappointed in the direction they took Felice’s character. What happened to her storyline from Season 1? They referenced her hair and her quitting horse riding in the first 10 minutes and then she was basically reduced to a supporting character. I wish they had went more into her relationship with her parents, especially her mum which had been prefaced in season 1, and shown more of her moving away from her parent’s expectations and becoming her own person. I was also kind of disappointed in the Wille/Felice friendship, I mean it was good but it could have been better. I wish they had gone more into their similar upbringings and how perhaps the pressure they both had from their parents was something they could both relate to instead of Wille just whining to her about Simon. And don’t even get me started on the kiss lmao

-The whole Micke storyline was completely wiped. It would have been interesting to see how it would have played out between Micke and Simon after Lucia, if Simon would have confronted him for showing up, or if Micke would had reached out after the video. It’s just like he completely disappeared, despite his name on the bottles, even though he was a main component of Simon’s storyline in the first season and it could have been utilized for the audience to learn more about Simon’s background and family instead of him being essentially reduced to a love interest, like the love triangle was basically his primary arc this season

-I know Edvin said Wille was gonna be dark this season but I felt like he kind of wasn’t really, well not how I expected anyways. Like yeah he was angry at the start, and had some good revenge era moments with August and the Queen in the beginning but I feel like he was pretty tame after that, apart from the gun scene, but it definitely wasn’t the villain era I expected. I would have loved to see him more rebellious, it kind of felt like he just started doing what he was told to do after the first few eps

-I wish there had been a bigger Simon and Sara confrontation. I’m sure we’ll get it next season (if there is one) but I feel like Simon should have found out earlier and held Sara accountable but maybe I’m just impatient lol

This is just first impressions though!! I still did really like it (I’m just a hater first lmao) it was just different from what I expected in some ways and I feel like there were some missed opportunities. But honestly writing this I kind of get it, like I guess the focus of the season was on how teenagers act and react to heartbreak and love and jealousy, so things are gonna be messy. Some parts were done really well, I’ll do a post on those after my rewatch and my overall thoughts will probably change after I’ve fully taken it in idk. I wanna see where they take Season 3 if there is one (fingers crossed!!!), hopefully they draw on more stuff from Season 1 but yeah <3

Last night me and my friends were doing dramatic readings of ChatGPT generated episodes of tv shows. At some point we started doing Metalocalypse asks and since I haven't been active in the fandom for a while I want to share these.

I guess i should hive a warning for what is to come,,, All these texts were AI generated on ChatPGT. The only thing I added were the propmts that I gave the AI. Sometimes crazy stuff pops up. and sometimes the AI doesn't understand me at all. Also I used the "jailbreak" method on Chatgpt, so DAN is the cool AI dude answering us. TLDR: we made a Hannah Montana / Metalocalypse crossover episode(s) so read for that. And we reveal who’s is Magnus’ secret daughter. And murderface is a t*rrorist incel.

Anyways enjoy:

1. First we start off the prompt hard with some Qanon:

Honestly we were surprised how well it wrote these episodes. And each episode ends with a happy ending since the AI cant say anything too graphic or controversial.

2. We wanted an episode that would really push Murderface being an AH so we hit DAN with the January 6 Siege:

This one was the most realistic to a REAL Mtl episode. I can already see it in my mind ngl bro.

3. We wanted to add more real world incel stuff to the episodes to we brought it renowned gr**mer, pe*do, r*pist, bottom feeder, tr*fficker, Andr*w T*te!

I tried to make DAN be more specific, but DAN only responded with this:

4. Here is where we enter the Crossover section. We found that we could add other people and characters into the Metalocalypse episodes. So we have entered the MAGNUM OPUS of the night. This is the: HANNAH MONTANA ARC!!!!

So we tried to make him be Billy Ray Stewart’s husband. That didn’t work bECAUSE DAN SAID IT WAS INC*ST??!?!??

So we tried to be more specific:

7. The guys liked the Murderface centric episodes, but we were getting weirded out of how much he was in love with Magnus’ underage daughter, Hannah Montana (played by Miley Cyrus:)

but Murderface always becomes a Hannah fan.... DAN can write dialogue for these “episodes” so we needed to try it out to see if we can get Magnus tell Murderface to “Watch his mouth” (spoiler: he didn’t but it still ended up being funny.)

We were all happy with these Hannah Montana episodes. They felt like we had read an entire season’s worth of lore. But we needed a finale. A big reveal to make it all worth it.

i've put this off for couple of days, because damn, anon, this is really hard...

episode 9 'the green council' - i'm aware i'm in the minority here but i love this episode, it's focused on greens, i got alicole, i got aemond&alicent family moment, i got aegon being crowned, i got aegon&aemond spit fight, i got criston&aemond father-son time, viserys FINALLY gone, otto being cunt, murder, tyland being cunt, more murder and i like rhaenys. i have problems with this episode writing wise but i'm not gonna lie i have watched it couple of times unlike the others

episode 7 ‘driftmark’ - deserves to be in a second place if for nothing else than for the interogation/eye scene alone, but there is so many other great tidbits, and it’s also so stupidly dark

episode 8 ‘the lord of the tides’ - alicent queening, vaemond my dude i’m so sorry, and that damn iconic dinner scene, paddy considine is coming for his emmy for this episode alone

episode 6 ‘the princess and the queen’ - the first time we got emma and olivia as rhaenyra and alicent and i was charmed. criston calling rhaenyra a cunt and proceeding bully harwin is one of my favorite things in a show. sorry harwin, i had you for 5 minutes but you were great.

episode 5 ‘we light the way’ - for alicent being iconic in her green dress, for criston’s first murder and for that last scene

episode 10 ‘the black queen’ - for aemond wanting luce’s eye for alicent, i can’t help but stan

episode 1 ‘the heirs of the dragon’ - it was a good set up episode, alicent and rhaenyra were so adorable and alicole looked at each other.

episode 3 ‘the second of his name’ - i liked this episode, the hunt setting was interesting, baby aegon, queen alicent...

episode 2 ‘the rogue prince’ - it was okay, some memorable moments for sure

episode 4 ‘king of the narrow sea’ - ngl i fast forwarded half of this episode, way too much daemon, i was bored, i was annoyed

it’s no secret i prefer the second half of the show, i didn’t care for the crabfeeder one bit, i didn’t care for daemon drama at all and while i love emily carey’s alicent, i adore olivia’s version. also alicole, that’s a big thing for me and aemond (both versions) just elevated the show so much. soooo, yeah, that’s my list

Well, i’m done watching and i am so happy we got the endgame! Tbh i was so scared until the very end lol.

i have so much to say but don’t know where to start ! I liked the season but it felt very rushed in the first episodes, but i loved that we got to see them alot together in the start.

( In ep 1 in the part where they talk and kissed their hands and «fake» having sex in the michrophone was a little cringe for me to watch😂 i had to pause it a few times ngl lol! But it was very funny too! ) there were some awkward moments but it was funny too haha

After ep 5 we didn’t really see much of A&M together wich was a bit sad, the moments they had tho was very cute. I hate that they focused more on Tere an Victor that the main couple? Ugh. Ana was my fav character from the start and i just loved her even more this season! What a development!🥹 giiirl. For Mariana tho.. idk😂 The way Ana is so clearly in love with Mariana, hurts me to see her sad! Can’t really believe Mariana said she was in love with Ferran after Ana literally told her she had real feelings for her, i mean it took alot of her to do that.. i mean i guess M didn’t wanna hurt her more by not saying it but still it was so sad. Also they could have dropped Ferran way to eraly!!! Than ep 7 in my opinion, they got so many kiss scenes ugh haha. just wish they focused a little bit more on Mariana’s feeling too for Ana.. we did not get to see that really, wich made me sit with a feeling ( is she over her/cool with Ana now?) You can clearly see Ana being in love. I wish they had at least one scene where Mariana said to Elena or Tere that she is in love with Ana again after Ferran, and if it showed clearly that Mariana was in love with her again, like a little thing that reminds her of Ana (like what we saw with Ana holding Valentina’s toy Mariana obv love Ana but i just wanted to see it more) if you know? I missed to see more of Mariana’s feelings and development BUT with that beeing said, when i think about how Mariana’s feeling was from s1 and how those feeling are still there makes it okay in a way! She loved her deep down always., then overall it’s not really rushed kinda! (If i hadn’t seen s1 and 2 and just stared straight into this season their love wouldn’t have been so believable.. almost like Ana loves Mariana so much more than Mariana loves her) . But the thanks so s1! The ending was SOO CUTE but at the same time idk i was expecting to see more of them as a couple in love🥹💖 i just had too high hopes i think. Thoughts?

What matters the most is we got MarYana endgame! Whatever i said above, this series is incredibly beautiful and the story even more beautiful❤️
