you know, a big reason i kinda drifted away from the phandom last year was because of how prevalent dp x dc content had become. at the time, i was more of a marvel girlie and i didn’t know much about the batfam or dc content in general. but this year during my (somewhat unintentional) hiatus i coincidentally got really into superman media, which then spiraled into an interest in the batfam and dc as whole and oh god I GET IT NOW
I GET THE APPEAL
dp x dc content creators, keep it going, y’all are doing wonders for this community

I love, love love your writing!! Can I request a Chandler Bing where they play poker and then Monica always looses to Chandler but reader is better than him. After a few rounds Chandler still looses to reader so he told her that if she wins one more time she owes him a kiss because he thought that it was a win-win situation for him. But reader agreed because she wants a taste of those lips. And then back in Chandler’s apartment he tries to tell her that he wants to do it again and then confess and then they’re happy. I really do love your work they have me rolling around.
Yes, yes, yes! Your requests are always welcomed. And thank you for the compliment!
A Game of Chance & Confessions -
In the dimly lit room, the atmosphere was thick with tension as Chandler Bing, with his characteristic awkward grin, dealt the cards. Monica, with her competitive spirit, looked at her hand and frowned. "Not again!" she exclaimed as Chandler triumphantly revealed his winning hand.
Across the table, you, a close friend of Chandler's, were trying to hide a smirk. You had a knack for poker, a fact you'd kept under wraps. Tonight, however, you couldn't resist joining the game.
As the evening progressed, Chandler's smugness waned. Time and again, his stack of chips dwindled, courtesy of both you and Monica. Yet, when it came down to the final hand, it was you who emerged victorious once more.
Chandler, clearly flustered but trying to maintain his signature humor, leaned forward. "Alright, alright," he said, pointing a finger your way, "If you win one more time, you owe me a kiss." He winked, thinking he had set up a win-win scenario.
You met his gaze, a playful glint in your eyes. "Deal," you replied, secretly relishing the prospect.
The final round was intense. Every move, every card was crucial. And when you eventually revealed your winning hand, there was a momentary silence.
Back at Chandler's apartment, the two of you shared a quiet moment away from the group. Chandler hesitated, searching for words. "You know, I... I kind of wanted to lose that last hand," he confessed, his vulnerability showing.
You smiled, closing the gap between you. "Well, in that case," you whispered before sealing the moment with a kiss. And as you pulled away, Chandler's grin was genuine, signaling the beginning of something new and exciting for both of you.
Happy New years!

After I got done working this afternoon I went outside and did a lot of yard cleanup. After a few days of drenching rain we're now having some of my favorite weather of the year: 38°F overnight, 60°F and sunny in the afternoon.
Using the leaf blower I got a lot of leaves and debris out of the gardens and into the grass where I could mulch it with the mower. I agree with those who hate the sound of leaf blowers. Mine is electric, so not as awful as the gas powered ones. Nonetheless, I keep usage to a minimum.
At times as I worked I heard the nearby high school marching band director's voice over a loudspeaker. I can't tell what he's saying. Could be "More, drummers, more!" or it could be "Drop and give me 20, maggots!" It doesn't matter. That muffled voice and the distant sound of the band is something I like.
I am home alone for dinner. There was leftover white rice from the Chinese food the other night. I found chicken taco meat in the freezer. I mixed those two things with chicken broth, frozen vegetables, and some green chili verde to make a decent soup. I really do like using up leftovers.
Now I'm full and content. The house, garage, and yard are clean. After all that work I stink, which is why eating leftovers at home was probably better than going out.
I'm about to take a $500* shower then watch TV.
