Everything has changed.

Do you name headcanons? Anyway, I am also going to be naming this one because I want to :) --requested--

Neville would never have imagined he would meet someone else who is like him. You were someone who appreciated the small things in life.

It started as a friendship, really. In your first year, you had been assigned as his table partner in charms class, the one he struggled in the most.

You excelled in it (he would find out later that you were actually quite average, but studied in the library so you could help him more). And things only grew from there.

When the second year rolled around, he was excited to see you again! You had kept in contact over the summer, constantly talking about mundane things. But he looked forward to every letter, as did you.

He was worried for you when the issue of the chamber of secrets circulated through the student population.

You both would spend some extra time together. Studying or lounging in the quart yard.

In his 3rd year, he struggled a lot. Things with his parents had taken a toll on him. He was beginning to realize that they wouldn’t be returning to a normal state.

He had asked you to meet him in the astronomy tower one night. It wasn’t something he had ever done before. Of course you had spent evenings together, he would sit next to you at dinner. And he would walk you to your common room, bidding you goodnight.

When you found him up there, his feet were dangling off the edge. It was then that you knew something was really wrong. Neville didn’t like standing on the edge of the balcony to use the telescope, and now he was hanging his feet off the edge?

“Nev, are you okay?” Your voice was soft and caring. It made him want to cry even more. When he looked back at you, he saw the concern written all over your face.

“I-“ his voice gave out, quickly wiping his tears and clear his throat he tried again. “I need to talk to you about something, please.”

“Of course! What can I do?” Making your way over to him, you grabbed his hand and pulled it in your lap.

“My parents. They have been in St. Mungo’s for the past 11 years. And they haven’t gotten any better.” He began to tremble at the thought of his parents.

“I don’t know what to say, Nev. I’m sorry, it is not enough, but that’s all I can think to say. I’m. here for you.” Gripping his hand a bit tighter, you pulled him into you. His head rested on your shoulder as he began to sob.

“I don’t know what to do without them. I thought they would get better. I thought I’d have parents again.” It was hard to catch most of what he was saying through his cries and hoarse voice.

“They will always be your parents. You have to know that. And they will always be there for you.” It was something you couldn’t stress enough.

It was then that Neville understood you were no ordinary friend. You were something special.

By the 4th year, things began to change. You wouldn’t meet his eyes as much anymore, He got panicky at the thought of being alone with you.

There had even been a few times where you caught yourself writing your first name next to his last. But you quickly throw the journal into the bottom drawer of the desk in your room.

Despite the anxious feeling you had at the thought of being around Neville, you often spent time with him by the lake. He had been trying to find some kind of water plant…

You were sure he had told you about it at some point, but you weren’t focused on the words he was saying.

At some point, Harry Potter decided to join you both. He said he wasn’t speaking to Hermione and wasn’t on good terms with Ron.

Of course, both you and Neville invited him to join you. But it actually made Neville feel something. A sick but upset feeling in his stomach.

You began to talk to Harry about quidditch and the tournament trials. You found yourself actually enjoying the conversation simply because the great and mighty chosen one was really just a simple 15 year old who had a somewhat normal life.

But that meant you weren’t talking to Neville about the book you were reading. And you weren’t telling him about how you wanted to travel the world, alongside Neville, before settling down.

Neville would never admit to it, but in this moment, he was jealous of Harry Potter. Not because he was the focus of everyone, not because he was the hero, and especially not because he had defeated Voldemort, (well half of him?) at the age of 11. No, he was jealous of Harry Potter because he had your attention.

Soon, dance lessons began. Most people thought it was hilarious and made a joke of it. But not you, in fact you enjoyed it. Thankfully, you were partnered up with a girl friend, there was no awkwardness of a boy. Yet.

Neville had practiced and practiced. He even devoted extra time he would have spent helping some of the first years with homework to practicing a waltz he knew you were particularly fond of.

However, something happened. Well, he only witnessed the first half of it, but he could feel that sickening feeling of jealousy burn again…

Harry Potter had sent a paper butterfly fluttering towards you. Inside was the question Nev had dreaded.

Would you do me the great honor of going to the Yule Ball with me? Meet me out in the viaduct courtyard after class.

You blushed at the thought that someone had asked you to the ball. But your thoughts were interrupted by Neville quickly excusing himself and rushing out of the hall.

Thankfully, the study period and the school day ended soon after. You found Harry waiting for you by the stairs.

“So, what do you think?” He was smiling brightly and holding a hand out for you as you took a rather large step down onto the bridge to the courtyard.

“Harry, I am honored that you asked me, trust me. Getting asked to the ball is something I never thought would happen.” As you turned to him you could see a small smile.

“But…” With a light chuckle, you nudged him in the shoulder.

“But I am actually hoping someone else will ask me. Don’t take it the wrong way, I just… I really like this boy, and I think he likes me as well, and I really really want to go with him.” Your face felt warm again at the thought of going to the ball with Neville.

“Well why don’t you ask this mysterious person?” He nudged you back. “Actually part of the reason I asked you is to possibly push either of you to ask the other out. Come on. It is obvious that you love each other.” Your jaw dropped.

“You asked me, knowing I would say no? Did you just use my rejection against me?!” You found it hilarious, but also there was a small, very small part of you that was hurt that he would do such a thing.

“Yes, I mean if you had accepted it, I would totally have taken you to the ball. But I knew you would say no.” Both of you stopped outside the entrance to the central hall. He now looked at you straight on with a serious-ish face. “Now go get your lover boy.”

Later that evening, you found him sitting in the herbology wing. He sat by the pond watching the fish swim around. They had no problems, no worries about asking someone to the ball, and Neville envied that.

“Neville?” You had finally found him. You had also cursed the founders for making the school so big that you scoured the entire school for him. “Nev, can we talk?”

He simply gestured for you to sit next to him on the bench.

“Did you leave because of Harry?” The huff he let out was an answer of its own.

“Maybe. Why does it matter? Did you just come here to gossip about it?” He almost sounded mad.

“No.” It came out defensively. “Why would I do that? I came to let you know that I turned down his offer.”

“Why would you do that? He is the perfect stand-up boy.” Why was he acting like this? Your sweet Neville.

“Because I want you to ask me. I’ve been waiting, I thought you felt the same way. I must have read the signs wrong.” You got up and began to walk away, but he grabbed your wrist to stop you.

“You didn’t. You didn’t read the signs wrong. I just didn’t know if you wanted to go with me. I had this whole plan for this evening, and then he asked you, and I thought you would just go with him.” He slipped his hand into yours, slotting your fingers together.

That is what led you to this moment. All the dancing at the ball, it made you feel like royalty, like you were the most beautiful person in the room. After quite some time of jumping around and dancing, you and Neville escaped to a balcony.

He spun you once on your way out. You let out a little laugh, a sound he wished he could bottle up and listen to over and over again.

Then it all came crashing in. Everything had changed. You were more than friends, something you couldn’t quite place yet.

It could only be described as a moment from a muggle movie. He brought his hand up to your cheek, his thumb ever so gently brushing against your face. As he looked all over your face, they finally landed on your eyes.

“All I know since yesterday is everything has changed” a moment of silence before he was leaning in.

And you realized that you were completely okay with this new change.

harry potter:

-thinks it is the coolest shit ever! when you're in a fight together and you protect him by shooting a powerful blue bolt towards the enemy that disintegrates their very beginning, he feels so proud to be your partner!

-on the other side, he also knows it feels like to have a lot of pressure and power on your side. he worries about what it must feel like to wield ancient magic and be the only living person who can see it. every time you use it, he checks on you after, ensuring that you don't feel too exhausted and can continue fighting.

-supported you so much through the trials. he didn't need to know every detail of what you did and went through but he would hold you so tight when you came back, praising you over and over for being so strong and brave.

ron weasley:

-he's a little jealous, ngl. like his partner can use this sick magic and is responsible for keeping the magic safe and alive out of the wrong hands?? why can't he do that???

-i also feel like ron would be confused, if not a little angry, that you refuse to share the power and attempt what others have before (such as isidora using the magic to remove pain). he doesn't really understand the problem and feels like the keepers are suspicious.

-he'd brag about you alllllll the time though! like oh my god every second he would find some way to bring up the fact that you can do really awesome things and that you are his awesome partner forever!

draco malfoy:

-draco loves you a lot and finds your magic incredibly cool, don't get me wrong, but i think his family swayed his pursuit of you because wouldn't it be so grand if the malfoys had a keeper in their family? someone so powerful and knowledgeable? who would pass down the truth and their magic? yes please! (every time narcissa brings it up, it irks draco but also he pats himself on the shoulder for choosing you)

-wants to know every detail about the trials and the past and the memories you're viewing! you'll come back from a trial, sweaty and tired, maybe bleeding, and he'd help you first then ask hundreds of questions after.

-your use of ancient magic is not necessarily unknown and makes you quite popular among the students of hogwarts. this, however, makes draco really jealous. if he could, he would follow you everywhere, glaring down anyone who tries to make a move on you. before you go on adventures, classes, or just to the common room, he'll drape you in his slytherin scarf as if he was marking you.

neville longbottom:

-poor thing gets so nervous when you have to complete the trials or do something incredibly important for the sake of keeping the magic safe. he knows he can't go along with you but he'd stay by your side until the very moment you enter the map chamber, whispering praises and support the whole time.

-would heal up all your wounds and take care of you if you exerted too much during a fight. he knows how much everyone depends on you and the least he can do is take care of you properly! he would run you a bath, apply soothing balms to your skin or use his plants to heal you up, and cuddle you tightly!

-tries his hardest to not feel useless but sometimes it's hard when you're so strong and he's so...not. of course you'll always reassure him and give him the confidence he needs but very frequently, he gets really down on himself about it.

fred weasley:

-every day he comes to you with a new scheme that involves your magic. could you make a portal that leads from the dungeons of hogwarts to the top of the astronomy tower? it's important. snape is gonna get really mad when he goes into his office? can your magic fix that?

-begs, and i mean BEGS, you to let him come along on your adventures and battles. he wants nothing more than to support you and fight along your side! as long it's not a trial, you can't help but let him come along. you usually end up saving him after he pays a little more attention to the way your whip around the battle, taking down everyone effortlessly.

-speaking of paying too much attention to you, he thinks it is so attractive than you can do what you do! he gives you some time after fighting to recuperate but then immediately he is ON you. he's kissing you and telling you how hot it is when you turn someone to just particles.

george weasley:

-he wants you to teach him everything you can. there are some things that are just simply innate and can not be taught but all your tips and tricks when it comes to fighting will now be all of his tips and tricks. you two would just find some field away from the burrow and go at it, sending spell after spell at each other. georgie is just overflowing with adrenaline and it's a great way to get it out.

-deep down, a part of him wants to be protective of you. he wants to keep you from going out into danger and taking on dangerous tasks all for magic and some old people telling you what to do. but he knows better, trust me. he knows you can defend yourself just fine but he just wants to put you in a little bubble and never let anything hurt you.

-just like ron, he will brag about you whenever he can. everyone is sitting around the great hall table, talking about how it's so cool that you defeated a troll in one fell swoop and he just wraps his arm around your shoulders, a glimmer in his eye as he proceeds to say "yeah, aren't they just so amazing?"

remus lupin:

-fears for your health and safety so much! when you come back from a trial, he's hushing you and putting you in bed, feeding you chocolate and brewing tea until you feel better!! you are bearing the weight of centuries old magic all alone. the least he can do is take care of you!

-supports your decisions throughout your entire journey as a keeper. if you truly believe that releasing ancient magic to the world and using it for more than the original keepers intended, then he understands. if you want to continue to keep it hidden, he will not question your judgement.

-this is so fluffy but i feel like you figured out how to manipulate your ancient magic to floating, bright blue scenes and pictures. around remus's time of the month (said lovingly), you'll lay in bed with him and use your wand to paint pictures of animals, lakes, waves, stars, or, in more sappy moments, your future.

sirius black:

-he thinks it is SO hot that you can take someone down without barely blinking an eye. his favorite move you do is when you lift someone into the air and slam them down repeatedly. gets blushy and turned on excited every time.

-once followed you down into the map chamber only to be very harshly yelled at by one of the keeper's portraits. he just wanted to see what it looked like and to know where you go on dangerous missions!! who can blame him, truly? definitely grumbled the whole rest of the day.

-when you two get married, he refuses to let you take his last name and instead will either take yours or say screw it and come up with one! he doesn't want his family to have the gratification of having a keeper with the black family name. he wants you to shine for who you are and in another century, he wants your name to be yours, not his.

Longbottoms boggart wasn't Snape.

I mean you'd think this would be obvious enough - but people who hate Snape bring it up as their sort of trump card. "He was so bad he was a 13yr olds biggest fear!" No. He wasn't. Boggarts don't quite work like that. Boggarts are not themselves your worst fear - they make you FEEL your worst fear. Hermione isn't actually scared of McGonagall. (I'm sure alot of first years are scared of her though I mean she is strict and stern and a little scary at first.) Did she have some irrational fear of suddenly failing all her classes? Yeah, maybe a little bit - but it is BECAUSE she is scared of not being good enough. From the first book we see her struggling to fit in with her peers. She is muggleborn, she learned she was a witch so suddenly that she poured herself into being the most perfect witch she could.

Professor McGonagall, a stern and strict witch she respects, telling her she isn't good enough despite all of her best efforts makes her FEEL her worst fear. It has nothing to do with Minerva personally - honestly it could probably be replaced with Dumbledore or someone... its just she has far more interaction with Minerva.

SO - Longbottom and Snape: How do I know that Snape isn't his absolute worst fear? Because he still attends Potions every fucking week!!! Do you think RON could attend Charms if it was run by a spider?!? He can pass Snape in the hall, he can sit in the same room as Snape, he can even be teased and bullied by Snape. His parents were tortured to insanity by Death Eaters. Severus Snape is NOT his worst fear, that's stupid. Snape just makes him FEEL his worst fear - like McGonagall makes Hermione feel hers. SO what is Neville worst fear? I think the clue comes with him quickly saying that he also wouldn't want the Boggart to turn into his grandma. Inadequacy. Neville has never been good enough. He has low self worth. The tiniest bits of praise overwhelm him. He never wins any house points and losing some devastates him. He got his magic late, his family kept trying to tease it out of him, thought he was maybe a squib. He has a proud legacy to uphold and he is terrified he cannot. He is the worst potions student Snape has ever had.

Snape makes Neville feel inadequate. His grandmother makes him feel inadequate. But mix them together... and suddenly these two very scary people that seem to have such control over his life... look a little ridiculous.

DO you think Lupin is LITERALLY scared of the moon...? Or does the moon make him feel powerless and dangerous and inhumane? DO you think Harry is LITERALLY scared of Dementors...? Or is he scared of how powerless he is against the horrible way they make him feel - the trauma they bring up from the deep recesses of his mind?

Snape was not so horrific, so awful, so scary, so mean - that he as a man became Nevile's worst fear. He, like his grandma, makes him feel inadequate.

tags : fluffy fluff fluff, shy neville :33, no tw, literally just pure fluff and wholesome-ness.

he's the type to be scared that you'll find him boring or pathetic or a loser and leave him

so he tries his best to get into your interests

you like baking? cool, he's gifting you some cookies he attempted to make which are definitely not half burnt... (it's the thought that counts..)

you like sports? well he's not good with sports but he's definitely willing to try out a round with you!

you like music? what are your favorite artists? he'll listen to every single song by them and then talk to you about them!

one time some Slytherin boys were picking on him and you literally stormed over and yelled at each one of them till they apologized and promised not to pick on him again (may or may not have threatened them...)

and he was just like :0

like he felt butterflies in his stomach and everything, definitely thought of you as someone who was determined and brave (even if you're not he'll assure you you're definitely braver than him)

literally the one thing going through his head was "oh damn that was hot"

seeing you getting riled up because someone was picking on him

wanted to show his gratitude so afterwards he brought you a bouquet of his favorite flowers (that may or may not bite) and when you take them he gives you a lil fun fact and gives you a cute little handmade list on how to keep one alive

I just feel like he'd be the type to be nervous with PDA but would absolutely love it when you hold his hand, and DEFINITELY loves hugs, not just simple hugs, give this man the biggest bear hug you can give and he'll be all smiley and happy the whole day

when sitting on the hogwarts express he always leaves a seat for you and just lean his head against your shoulder and hold your hand while you both look out the window (my heart is melting)

LATE NIGHT CUDDLE SESSIONS

sneaking into his dorm at night to surprise him and he's literally about to go to sleep like he's in bed and everything and then he just hears the door open ominously and he's horrified until he sees your mischievous grin as you're putting a finger up to your lips to tell him to quiet down as you close the door behind you

HE'D LITERALLY HOLD THE BLANKET OPEN AND PAT THE OTHER SIDE OF THE BED FOR YOU LIKE HFJGHJWIDL

and then y'all just cuddle the whole night and almost sleep through the alarm because for one Neville is literally huddled up against you so you can't move or get out of the bed otherwise your heart would break so you just turn off the alarm and wait for him to wake up but you just end up falling back asleep

the only thing waking you up was Ron coming to check up on why Neville wasn't up yet and he walks in and just sees you too cuddling and just throws a random sock at your head and tells you to “stop snogging” 💀

HP Characters Reacting To You Drawing Them

Warning: I didn't read the books, these are my headcanons and personal ideas for the characters. It's just for fun. :)

Harry:

-"Oh! Brilliant! Yeah, sure." -He is a bit shy, but flattered, very flattered -He sits in front of you, with a nervous smile, sometimes adjusting his glasses or hair -You assure him that he looks great and he relaxes a bit, sitting more comfortably -While you work he asks from time to time some questions about your drawing journey and listens closely to your answers -He thinks about how you're going to draw his scar, are you going to make it a key thing, or represent him in another way? -When you finish and show him your work he's astonished by your talent -"Wow! This is really good! I can keep it? Oh! Thanks!"

Ron:

-"You want to draw me? I don't think I'm that special." -He's a bit hesitant at first, he feels like he doesn't deserve attention, since he is not "The Chosen One" -But you make him believe otherwise -When sat down Ron is stiff, looking away from you, smiling nervously -You tell him that he looks great and he smiles a bit more confident -He suggests ideas on how you can present him, and he comes up with some sick propositions -Once you're finished he's so happy that he has something made by someone only for him -"Bloody hell, it's fantastic! You need to show your skill more often."

Hermione:

-"Draw me? Well if it makes you happy." -She pretends that it's nothing, she may look annoyed, but inside she cares -She fixes her hair or clothes when you aren't looking -She sits properly, legs together, hands on her lap, head slightly tilted, and a soft smile on her lips -She is mostly silent but asks you questions about what you are doing at a certain moment, she's curious -She's patient, giving you time to make your art perfect, she knows how hard it can be -She's very supportive when she sees your finished work -"This is lovely!"

Fred:

-"Oh yeah? So my beauty captured you this much?" -He's so happy about it but can help not to tease you -"Are you interested in a more intimate portrait?" -He sits in a confident way, taking a lot of space -He gives you ideas for the drawing, like how he could look good on a broom, or fighting You-Know-Who -After he's done with his jokes he lets you work in silence, just sometimes giggling to himself because of your focused expression -When you sometimes look up at him, he sends you a quick wink -He's very happy when you finish the drawing, he'll show it to his friends -"Thank you, dear, we can repeat this if you want."

George:

-"You got the right twin? Because I am not sharing this position." -He's more mature about this than his twin, but he has it in his nature to make some not-in-place comments -He gives you control, you decide how he sits or holds his hands -He's intrigued by how you work, but stays silent, just looking at you -He hums quietly, gently moving his head, when you tell him to stop moving he winks at you with a smirk, but completes your order -He's moved when he sees your done work, he feels appreciated for him -"Thank you, it's beautiful."

Ginny:

-"That's nice of you." -She doesn't ask a lot of questions, just lets you do your work -She's happy to pose for you, it makes her feel seen -She smiles when you accidentally make a silly face but doesn't point it out -When you're finished she takes a while to admire your work -"It's amazing, thank you."

Luna:

-"I would love to, sitting can be fun too." -She's very calm, listens to your instructions, and is very patient -She asks you how you got to draw, or what inspires you to create, she's nice to have conversations with -She has her glasses on her nose, sitting with her knees to her chest -When you're finished she's very happy -"Oh, it's magnificent. I am so happy to keep it."

Neville:

-"Me? Are you sure?" -He's very self-conscious, and thinks you're doing it out of pity, but you assure him it's not like that -He's very nervous, he doesn't know what to do with his hands, you have to guide him a little bit -He thinks he looks bad at every angle, but you tell him that everything is perfect and that makes him feel a bit more confident -He is so grateful for this art piece, he keeps it close to him at all times -"Wow, that is so pretty, thank you Y/N."

Draco:

-"Why? For what?" -He doesn't feel comfortable with this and is suspicious you have bad intentions -But his pride wins over him and he lets you draw him -He sits proudly with a serious look on his face -He says nothing, just watches you, expecting your work will be not as high as his expectations -But he's shocked when he sees your done work -He keeps it in his room, away from others -"Well that's not as bad as I thought it will be."

Tom:

-"I can agree to that." -He sees this as an opportunity to capture his image for future -He wears his best suit, rings on his fingers, and in his hand a dark book -He sits with his head high, one leg on the other, leaning on the armchair -He doesn't talk but nods his head in approval when you stop drawing for a moment -He's very satisfied with the result and keeps the drawing well hidden -"That is good, thank you for your time."

Most muggles and wizards forget your twins beacuse you look nothing alike.

With Harry I think he trusts adults a little too quick, with the treatment the Dursly's caused I think you'd have major trust issues. You only really trust Harry.

Harry is almost extremely over protective of you and sometimes thinks he's the older brother because he happens to be taller and five minutes older. “you know I'm five minutes older than you, right?”

“why does that bloody matter?”

Harry would do anything to keep you safe from Dudley and the other Dursley, I think Petunia would be harsher on you because you remind her so much of Lily and Dudley just think it's a game to terrioz you.

“keep your hands off her!” Harry shouted and pushed your cousin off you aching body.

People Don't know how relieved you were to get your Hogwarts letter.

Year one:

Like I said before you don't trust people as easy as Harry does, so when Hagrid came to rescue you two you were very reluctant and let Harry do most of the talking.

I'd say the Dursly's treatment causes you to be jumpy and very much aware of your surroundings, meaning you were hiding behind Harry when Hagrid came by.

But you learned to trust him during the trip to Digon Ally, he got Harry an owl and you a Ferrett named Seeley.

You also discovered your wand was related to The 'murder' Sirius Black's wand.

The first person you'd actually meet first is Fred and George, Hagrid had taken you to a candy shop in Digon ally and you both were after the last box of all flavor beans.

“you go ahead” he smiled when he saw you flinch back. “no, you” you respond.

Fred shook his head with a smile and handed you the colorful box. “no, you shouldn't take things from a pretty lady” that made you blush and take the box nervously.

And saved by the bell wizard, Harry called your name. “I got it go... Bye”

He didn't even get your name. Fred watched you run away with hearts in his eyes. George looked at him confused when he saw no candy in his hands.

“Georgie, I think I'm in love” he smiled like an idiot.

George, not knowing how to respond smiled.

When you got to Hogwarts you met Neville Longbottom and Draco Malfoy.

You had found Neville's Toad Trevor and was the one to return him. I think Neville would be star struck with you, your kindness to him and how pretty you were, he definitely had a crush on you immediately.

With Draco he just had infatuation, with Fred and Neville it was actual attraction(Neville more at the time) but with the Blonde Slytherin he saw you as someone he could get back at his parents with. The daughter of Lilly and James, Lucicus hated them and his eyes it would be a perfect opportunity to rebell a little.

You saw right threw him, you may not trust people immediately, but you do like to get to know them before you pass judgment. Draco lost your judgment as soon as he disrespected Ron and the rest of the Weasleys.

“listen you little Ferrett, leave Ron and his family alone”

I don't think the twins would take you being teased lightly, Fred didn't really care what Draco thought about him but him saying something about you or George is usually the last straw.

Anyway, the sorting hat didn't know what house to put you in. He was stuck between Ravenclaw and Gryffindor. “your a lot smarter than people give you credit for...your also brave, maybe even braver than your brother”

The hat did consider your feelings, he didn't just put you in Gryffindor because you were afraid to be separated from Harry, he did because he wanted to prove how brave and strong you were.

Gryffindor was ecstatic to have both Potters, especially Fred and George. They both cheered with the rest of their house mates and gave you the empty spot next to them.

With that I think you'd have your own trio, you are very close to Hermione and Ron both, but your defently best friends with the twins.

Your also close with Neville, people might think your a body guard and would even teas him for it, but you actually love Neville company and think he's tougher than he relizes.

Some people might not realize you got on the Quidditch team beofer Harry, you became a Chaser.

During your first game the twins wouldn't leave your side, Fred was afraid you'd get hurt. I think the whole team was considering you were a first year.

Harry's broom was the only one that was supposed to get jinxed but you got in the way. You got swang around like crazy while the twins and Oliver tried to help you. It drove Harry crazy he couldn't help you, but he had his own jinxed broom to deal with too.

Ron and Hermione of course thought it was Snape, but it wasn't. He was concentrated on helping you... Even more than Harry.

You remind him of Lily... like a lot, so I think it would make him less biter towrds you. Yeah it'll hurt him to see you at first, but I think he wouldn't be harsh on you like he is Harry.

During the holiday we know Harry saw your parents in the mirror of erase, but as much as you loved your parents I don't think that's what you saw. You can't change the past, so you just wanted some kind of family. So when you looked in the mirror you saw the Weasleys.

You and the twins had been extremely close, especially Fred. During the holidays Molly sent you a sweater with your initial and Fred got you a paracord bracelet with a heart charm. He and george had matching ones(minus the heart) so at the time it was friendship bracelets.

When you went to see the mirror by your self Professor McGonagall cought you, she really liked you and thought you were a bright student. You don't get to show it much because Hermione always beats you too it.

Speaking of professors and Hogwarts staff, I think Hagrid would help you discover your love for animals and magical creatures. Which ment you were pissed when Draco ragged about Hagrid's baby dragon.

Your love for magical creatures also helps you and the golden trio get passed Fluffy the three headed dog.

You and Hagrid bonded over talking about animals and you guys grew closer because of that.

It still bewilders Ron how you saw innocents in the dog and though he was cute.

You didn't want to go back to the Dursly's, but with the events that transpired this year you were afraid to stay at Hogwarts too, but you couldn't help but love the place, as dangerous as it was it was also safe and full of wonderful people.

Year two:

So for starters I think Doby would annoy the hell out of Harry's sister and I think she would be pissed off he was at the Dursly's warring them instead of Ginny or Hermione or even Colin.

So when you got back from Hogwarts you and Harry did have to share Dudley's second bedroom, it was cramped and always hot, but it was better than living under the staircase.

So, remember when the Dursly's tried to stop Harry from going to the Burow with the Weasley's? Well Harry did get in their little blue Angler, but when he did Vernon grabed you causing Fred to jump through the window and get you.

Molly would be so happy to see you again and even kinda embarrassed Fred. “y/n darling, I'm so glad your hear... Fred hear wouldn't shut up about you all summer”

“mom!” Fred look embarrassed while George was trying to cover his laughter for his brother's sake.

The burow is big but it's also cramped at times, so you and the twins share a room, your best friends and your comfortable with each other. Your just kids right now and there's no dirty thoughts to it just three best friends having a sleep over.

Thoses night Fred found out about your nightmares, George is a heavy but one night you woke up Fred when you were tossing and whimper beacuse of them. You only remember your parents death in your dreams and currently your adventures from last year.

Fred comferted you through out the night. He didn't make you talk about it, just held you. George teased you guys when he woke up the next morning and saw you guy cuddling. You guys let it slide since he didn't know the situation.

But, During your stay I think you'd grow closer to George, your both the quieter of the twins and are usually the followers. You would tell him you hated all the attention being Harry's sister brings.

Fred would get jealous, really jealous but he loves you both too much to bring it up. George knows how much Fred cares about you and your relationship with George is strictly Platonic.

George knows Fred like the back of his hand and he told him that. “you know we're just friends, right? I'd never hurt you like that”

Speaking of friends, since it's ginny's first year you and the twins are all pretty protective, which ment you were about to kick Draco's teath out when he was hassling her at the book shop in Digon ally.

“touch her and it'll be the last thing you ever do”

You also despise Lockheart, You and the twins spend most of the year messing with him. Especially when it comes to quizes about himself.

“my favorite smell isn't the ass of a hairless dog!” Lockheart yelled after reading our answers.

You broke your arm during the Quidditch match where Draco and Harry we're going add it. The people and the teams were too busy watching your brother to realize you got knocked off your broom.

Fred cought you before you could hit the ground and he took you to madam Pomfrey with George and Hagrid's help.

That day you realized since you weren't the chosin one like Harry you weren't that inresting. But that didn't matter to your closest people. To Fred you were the greatest thing to ever enter hogwarts.

He stayed with you the entire time and helped you with assignments till you got better.

You weren't part of this year's adventure. You were too worried about taking care of Ginny and Hermione.

Years 3:

So after the whole blowing up aunt marge incident you went to the Burow(in this universe you go straight there).

You told the twins about aunt Marge and they couldn't stop laughing. You now call it "the incident" and it kinda became inside joke, Ginny getts annoyed with not knowing what it means.

“you keep saying 'the incident'! What doses that mean?”

You did find about Sirius black and that he was Harry's godfather. You would think he'd be yours too but really it was never confirmed since Lilly wanted Remus to be the godfather.

Remus told you about the once playful argument that James and Lily had about that. I think you'd grow really close to Remus.

He's the first adult you trusted immediately. You tell him everything and he becomes the first ever real father figure you've ever had.

Aurther is kinda of a father figure but you don't want to see him that way since your in love with his son.

Anyway, you find out about Remus being a werewolf just beacuse you were wondering around on a full moon, you weren't scared like a normal person should be which suprised him. You promised to never say anything.

It got annoying when Hermione kept asking werewolf questions when she started to have her suspicions.

You were relieved when you found out Sirius didn't actually kill your parents. You found out Sirius was really fun to be around. While Remus was a shoulder to cry on or sortof a body guard, Sirius was c comedic relief and learned how to make you and Harry laugh.

Year 4:

Your fourth year is when Fred and you really started to act on your feelings. When you went to the Quidditch world cup, Fred kissed you after your favorite team won.

Since death eaters showed up it was short lived and you guys didn't really speak of it till later.

You didn't try to get your name in the goblet of fire like your two best friends, nor was your name put in there.

It was bizarre... You wanted to do it just to prove you were just as brave and important as Harry. Fred helped you relize how important and loved you were during the last two summers, but since your name didn't get put in there like Harry's you felt pushed to the side lines again.

Fred was a little bit upset at your mindset. He didn't want you thinking you were useless but he also didn't want you in danger.

“why would you want to! It's dangerous, I don't know what I'd do If you got hurt!”

Then it turned into an argument. “I want to do It because I'm tired of being in his shadow I want to prove I'm just as strong! And why dose it matter if I was in the tournament or not?”

“beacuse I love you! The Wizarding world might not have chosen you but I do... And I know we're just kids but I do know that I love you”

Your heart melt and if felt like all your walls came crashing down. You knew you were important to him, but it finally clicked that you were is first choice from the beginning. No Harry, no chosin crap, he just wanted you.

You had your first real kiss in mouths. A rough but passionate kiss. He poured so mush love and emotion in it, he wanted to prove he wanted you and only you.

Then you became a couple, a few side problems kinda showed up. Hermione and Krum, then you and Neville... He wanted to asks you out so bad but then he finally had the confidence to ask you out he found you and Fred kissing.

You knew when something was bothering Neville, he became stand-offish and wouldn't really talk to you. When he confronted you all his emotions came out. He told you everything and even end his rant that he rather have you as a friend than not having you at all.

“but then I realized our friendship means more to me than anything, I'm happy for you and Fred but I don't want to lose my best friend”

“You won't...”

The Yule Ball was so much fun, you of course went with Fred and everything was perfect.

Having Cedric die was hard, you wernt close to him but having him die made you appreciate you brother again. You two became distant since you felt put on the side lines, but when you thought about Harry dying you couldn't help but cry.

“you and me against the universe” Harry said after you talked about it to him. “I'll always protect you and I'm sorry if you felt like I pushed you away”

Harry really did feel bad, but he felt even worse when he found out about you and Fred. He's been so busy he didn't even know you have a boyfriend for like three months.

He was happy for you both, he trust you'd be treated right and didn't feel like he had to put up an over protective brother facade.

Year 5:

So Remus is defently over protective and put the fear of murlin in Fred, but he knew Fred was a good guy.

You and Fred also worked hard to get Tonks and Remus together. You knew how much he loved her but he wouldn't act upon it.

Also with Voldemort back you were eager to join the order of the Phoenix, even if you weren’t old enough. And you better believe Fred would be right behind you.

“I'm in” you said.

“NO!” Remus and Sirius both said at the same time.

Okay so it's your fith year and Fred's last year, it's kinda of upsetting but it just encourages you guys to make the most of the year.

You love helping the boys sell their products and even help come up with some new ideas.

Rather the product are safe or not your usually the one to sell the product to fellow classmates, especially the females. George says to can sell a drowning man water.

The year was great... Till the pink monster showed up and started changing everything.

She got under Fred's skin like crazy and Umbridge knew it, he didn't really care what she did to him, took away one of his prank toys he doesn't care he'll just make a new one but what he didn't lightly is when you had to endore one of her detentions.

You didn't want the boys knowing or worry Fred and Harry. He accidentally found out when he grabed your soar hand the wrong way.

“I'm gonna end her!”

You had to grabe him and convince him if he did anything he'd get kicked out of school... Which he didn't care.

You knew about them dropping out and you even help plan their excape.

After they left Fred wrote to you almost every day, filling you in about the shop and telling you about the success.

You couldn't be more proud of them and even planed on working there that summer but the end of there made you forget about it.

Sirius had died protecting you, Bellatrix was about to use the same spell on you that she used on Mr. And mrs. Longbottom. Neville tried to protect you but Sirius bet him to it the only cost was his life.

During the summer you mostly stayed with the twins and worked at the shop, things got better and Fred worked hard to cheer you up.

He loves spending most of his time with you and doesn't really care if people see.

“your not supposed to get handsy with the staff” you joked.

“I won't tell if you want”

Year 6:

Not Much happened... That concerned you at least. You spent most of your year hanging out with Neville and Luna.

Harry and the other two were to busy worrying about Draco and you just didn't have the energy to care.

You quite the Quidditch team after an acadent last year so you usually helped Luna or who ever narrat the game.

You did worry about Draco though, he looked so alone and no one really cared, all Harry cared about was proving he was doing something wrong.

He grew so much respect for you when you found him crying, you didn't judge him like he expected... Just let him cry.

You filled Fred and George in about the closet stuff and how the school is going down hill.

After the school year you went home with the twins after Dumbledore's funeral, as awful as it might sound you weren't too affected by his death. You felt like Dumbledore never really cared about you or your brother.

Year 7:

So you spent most of the Summer paining and decorating for Billy's wedding, it was a good distraction.

During the battle of the seven Harry's George protected you because the death eaters would expect you to be with Fred, George got his ear blown off because he was protecting you.

After the wedding got ambushed you ended up going with the golden trio, Fred tried to go after you but Charlie stoped him I'm fear for his brother.

You spent most of the time listing to the radio with Ron, making sure George or Fred's name isn't mentioned.

During the battle of Hogwarts the twins didn't leave your side.

“you okay freddie? Y/n?” George asked.

“I'm scared” you admitted. Fred pulled you to his side and held you while George held your free hand. “I won't let anything hurt you”

When things got really heated during the battle you got separated from the two, you and George ended up meeting up in what used to be the charms room.

You started to panic when you didn't see Fred. “Wait, where's fred”

George couldn't stop you and ran in search for him, before you could even register what was happening Fred shielded you from a killing curse.

Even if your brother won the battle you lost the love of your life, you didn't really want to see anyone except George and even that hurt... Looking at his face and seeing the same eyes and freckles.

George promised if anything happens to Fred he'd make sure you'd be alright.

Super mega happy ending:

So if you chose this ending Fred didn't die, you guys got betten up but that's all.

A year later you guys got married and you worked as the care of magical creatures professor at the school, during the summer you worked with your husband and brother-in-law.

You had twins, a boy and a girl. Fred cried when he found out you'd he having twins.

George and Angelina were of course the god parents.

You are very protective of your kids, always making sure they're okay and on the anniversary of your parents death your twins sleep with you.

Your daughter is just like Fred, a total minnis in the best way possible, your son is the quieter one... Much like you and George.

Your twins joined the Quidditch team and got sorted into Gryffindor like every other Potter and Weasley.

You couldn't be more happy or proud of your family.

Does anybody else think it's stupid that Harry named his secret little delinquent group Dumbledore's Army? I mean that gave him absolutely no deniability!

Correct me if Im wrong, but at least they had been calling themselves the D.A. in public. That gives them some room to deny the shit out of whatever allegations they're facing.

Marietta Edgecombe: It's called Dumbledore's Army, Prefessor Umbridge.

Neville: Actually professor, we're the Dog Appreciators. We all agree dogs are not appreciatated enough.

How it started.

His feelings started small, brewing slowly in the pit of his stomach, a potion he let bubble over and cloud his judgment. Whenever you were around he'd be extra clumsy, unable to focus on his current tasks as he stole glances from across the room.

His friends teased him so much. They kept urging him to make a move already, but, a romantic, Neville secretly enjoyed the pining. He didn't want to confess his feelings and risk being rejected, spoiling the fantasy.

Baby steps, he told himself, leaving flowers for you with sweet notes and awkward handwriting. He'd never sign the cards, leaving you to wonder who your secret admirer was.

Unable to hold your curiosity, you set up a trap — It was rather easy to catch him, considering he wanted you to, subtly sabotaging himself in hopes that you'd catch him someday. That way he wouldn't have to initiate the conversation.

Neville didn't delude himself by thinking he'd be ready to confess his feelings for you when the time came. He knew he'd blush and stutter his way through.

Doing it was harder than he imagined, rambling and reassuring you he didn't mean to be weird about it. He'd read too many of his grandmother's romance novels, that was all.

You didn't think it was weird. You were flattered by his attention, a similar pink tint to your cheeks as you took a step forward and asked him out.

"So... Would you like to go for a butterbeer sometime...?"

Neville is shy, insecure at his core. He mostly expects you to take the first step, like the first time holding hands and the first kiss.

He kisses rather desperately, to your surprise, hands clinging to your waist. It's like it's never enough, the next kiss never soon enough, and he's afraid it won't ever come.

Hates PDA. Asks shyly if you'd like to find somewhere quieter to talk, and you know exactly what he means by the blush on his cheeks and neck.

Loves hearing you talk about your interests, lost in the way your eyes shine.

So supportive of your ambitions and emotions.

Loves how you are willing to hear about HIS interests. Even when you don't understand them, you nod and ask questions, and he SO appreciates the effort. You never make him feel silly or strange.

Still presents you with flowers and notes.

His favorite thing in the world is smoking with you. He can relax fully and just let himself be.

A close second is sleeping with you, your weight comfortable on his chest.

Picnic dates at every opportunity. Nothing better than having a snack and watching the sky with his favorite person. You let him rest his head on your lap and play with his hair and he silently wonders if it's too soon to propose.
