HOLY MOLY!

It’s happened, I have hit 1,000 followers! When I joined back in February I did not expect to even make it to 100 followers, let alone 1000. This is incredible, I love you all so much and cannot thank you enough. I’m so glad you all enjoy what I create, I enjoy writing for all of you ❤️

So with that being said, I have come up with a little writing challenge for you all ❤️ Rules:

Note: This is not technically a university/college AU, but I’ll let it slide because it’s one of the best cherik fics out there and for the majority of the fic Charles is in Erik’s class (even though, unbeknownst to Erik, he’s a professor as well).

feels a little early to be writing a year-in review but i find myself in a quiet moment so i thought i’d tap a few things out

in 2019, in all facets of my life, i faced a challenge of some sort and i surprised myself as i held my ground more often than ran away, which felt new. what *also* felt new was this sense of ease i began having professionally, when it came to conceptualizing and making decisions. sorta feels like a lot of things are crystallizing.

in terms of life on here, i didn’t have TSL for the majority of the year (anybody out there remember TSL?!) so i busied myself with crafting fun memories on my own. there were spans of weeks where i’d just get on a tear and run into one new thing after the other and it was all really just fantastic. i gave myself permission to indulge in the most decadent of things and to follow the most mercurial of assumptions to places i thought closed off.

i’m pretty sure i’ve smiled and laughed more over this year than i ever have in my entire life. no joke.

here are some kaylorverse moments that brought me joy in 2019:

it’s nice to have a friend

2018 was my first year being a kaylor and i just sort of was moreover on the contributor or commenter side of things so 2019 was interesting in that when taylor really leaned into the gay imagery leading up to album release, i started getting newer people sending me stuff! and asking me my takes on things! and like, my words suddenly had weight for some reason? it felt weird but i truly enjoyed getting to talk with so many different people and hear their ideas and laugh and such. that was markedly different from last year. from within this, 79-swift reached out to me with the eye theory, the most beautiful and rare of observations by a singularly lovely individual that i have dedicated my life to protecting and promoting. and i feel like i’ve gotten to know many people i knew through 2018 more deeply and have come to accept the role i play, lean in to it, and formulate my own truth of the matter, and that sort of heightened perspective on it has been a blessing and i’m so thankful for this strange sense of camaraderie that has formed with many of you? thank you??? and my conviction, and my wishes, for the girls to find happiness have only strengthened this year... im committed to seeing this through whether people like it or not!! harumph!

i also started proactively curating my experience.. that’s right! i began blocking trolls with reckless abandon, and i turned anons off! 😂 and damn it’s so much more worthwhile of a time on here when you set aside people that only want to ruin your day.

i got over my fear of eyeballs!!

😂 no seriously, body horror and in particular eyes out of context was actually sort of a thing that previously creeped me out BUT LOOK AT ME NOW. i’m gonna do my best not to rehash the eye theory, please read the post and recall the number of times i filipped out 😂 each and every one is precious to me

geeking out with bert and ernie gifs with kaylorfossil and making empsmd-blog drop her debit card need a mention.

the ME! music playlist.

i fell in love with so many songs and like, running into eye motifs in so many of the songs, lyrically and visually, was the most hilarious thing. but really just a lot of the songs really tapped at my soul with an ice pick and i even went to go see The Japanese House live in Osaka which was transcendental and i’m just so thankful for having taylor introduce Good At Falling to me because it was a *necessary* album.

i made and collected stuff

i made and amassed many artifacts that one day i can look back on and remember what a wild ride it has been. some favorites are my procuring of the pixel art heart ring from the ME! mv (a nod to my tsl days..), as well as the evil eye ring.. i didn’t physically make this but the eye theory made the taydar podcast and there’s nothing i enjoy more in this world than making someone giggle and i just love that the episode exists. making that kaylor straw was 👌 working on a mock-up of the golden locket has been very satisfying. i started incorporating fun kaylor winks into my artwork as well which was fun, and i also commissioned a collage from the very talented and lovely valheria and i couldn’t have asked for anything better 🥰

wildin in the TS7 tag was the best.

i made this observation that there’s this type of cocoon that looks like a cobra, which transforms into a butterfly over a period of 13 days, and like, the post got so many notes and i just had a lot of swiftie eyeballs all of a sudden on my blog which led to some hilarity. but honestly i just love geeking out over theories and it’s fun to get to do that as fans of taylor at large. things felt warm and effervescent.

my newspaper subscription

i subscribe to the TTB Times and let me just say the submissions and anons this year were overwhelmingly a delight to read through every day. also like, we did get cued in to stuff before album release and i am just thankful that there are people out there both who want to give us that and people who work to help them give us that. thank you ttb for moderating your blog (my newspaper of choice) however it is that you do and to everyone that contributed to her blog.

the whole lead up to the ME! video release

so glorious... but particular the hour before. i was rushing to pick up my kid from school and suddenly i kept getting messages from people that taylor was covering her face and framing her eyes, and i was like oh please yeah sure BUT THEN when the snake in the video had a blank eye like i don’t think you guys understand i had to wait at a bus stop and exchange pleasantries with the other moms but it was a *five alarm fire* in my mind

cause shade never made anybody less gay

stealing away to listen to YNTCD for the first time and hearing Taylor Alison Swift use the word gay in a released song for the first time was a transcendental moment

call me a corporate shill all you want like, there’s always a little something in there and i also enjoy the little flickers of goofy karlie that jump out from time to time. and i know this is not the case for everyone but post eyepocalypse, karlie leaning in, winking that eye of hers time and time again was just pique comedy for me and it always made me chuckle. the brands karlie has repped have been really laying it on thick too and it’s been a joy to see. when taylor does it with her music it’s art, and for me karlie’s media presence is a form of art too 😌

oh kaptain my kaptain

kimby liked a comment of mine on her insta which was a distinct honor and privilege 😌 and really she was dropping clues left and right through spring up until she got her snazzy new job and things calmed down 🥰 of which i am so proud talk about an on brand job! also partially clearing the air about my TSL theory and the lead up to clearing that air was quite fulfilling for me and i am forever grateful for the time we shared. and to this point, the seesters in general (and kurt omg) have been quite active all year and we don’t deserve it but they’ve stuck around and it’s been calming.

when taylor came to visit tokyo this year i was basically reenacting the swamp scene from OOTW trying to get a ticket to the secret event... i listened to ME! on LINE MUSIC for over 2000 plays, i bought multiple CD’s, it was such an ordeal and then to not have a ticket after all but still putting on my thinking cap and managing to figure out where the event was while i was at disney sea and literally running from disney sea to the venue in high heels with The Man playing on my phone was oscar-worthy and actually *being correct* and the moment i knew i was correct and how i knew i was correct was so amazing 😉 and i play by the rules so i didn’t try to get in without a ticket and i didn’t lurk. but just to have figured it out and validated it was such a thrill. seeing her on TV live was amazing as well ///

oh and, last year for rep tour there was this theory i had which didn’t pan out but it had to do with the clues i thought shawn mendes was dropping through autumn 2018 and anyway that’s a story for another day but as i was bopping around town, looking for lockets, staying in rooms i have no business being in, drinking lots of whisky...just to know that while i was doing *everything but* successfully meeting taylor, she literally phoned shawn and had him record lines for that eye theory remix like, i will never ever, like, guys. guys. 😂 it’s too perfect for words. the world is weird like that sometimes.

and omg Lover the album? i absolutely love lover and i loves that honeymoon period of theorizing and parallel unearthing that we did and i love how slightly creepy-cute it is and i love the whole wabi-sabi thing going on and i absolutely love every song on the album, every one, they all have so much meaning to me... and each one is teeming with little blips and bloops and sound samples and seconds of silence and i love all the brass instruments and so many lush moments... i guess my shortlist (in no particular order) would be the archer, lover, i think he knows, daylight, cruel summer, false god, cornelia street, ME! (yea i really like me 🥰). and to think about everything that went in to the album and the thrill of what it might have been and the vastness of what we don’t know, but like, the weight of that potential?? it’s like this vast pastel and black abyss of drowsy and deep feelings and i love every inch of it. it’s a vibe that reflects so much of what this year has been for me and i’m happy to have existed in this time to have had it with me.

jesus this has gotten too long, and i still have like 24 more things to write out but um, basically, as i’m sure you’ve been able to assume? i wanted to say that despite 2019 being somewhat of a slasher film affair for our fandom, i still had a goddamn great time this year and i hope everyone can find some good memories and relive them as well 🥰

I listened to the two Lucero songs and I love them. I’ll say that the genere isn’t something I usually pick for myself but those songs are really good and have so many feelings.

The Peoples Key by Bright Eyes will definitely get added to my regular playlist. The Ladder Song is probably my favorite of the few I listened to.

Fistfight definitely fits Riptides (the best freaking fic ever and no one can tell me different). So many of the lines hit me so hard.

Two songs that I think you would vibe with are Ledges by Noah Gundersen and 1 Last Cigarette by The Band Camino (these are very different songs, just so you know 😂)

I constantly listen to NEEDTOBREATHE and I really love Drive All Night and Great Night. Also, Switchfoot is one of my favs and I have many recs from them: Stars is my absolute favorite, Hello Hurricane, Backwards in Time, and If I Were You

i feel like i've really failed you because my previous reply about lucero was "hold me close" (i feel the cold ground underneath my boots/and for no good reason it reminds me of you) and "slow dancing" (i would forget you if i could/think about anything else) erasure.

i think "firewall" is my favorite on the people's key, at least in part because of the wacko monologue at the beginning (love has always been the message. it's just, circumstances happen).

loving the vibe of "ledges" (i drink a little too much/it makes me nervous/i've got my grandfather's blood). it's so pretty!

omg obsessed with "1 last cigarette." can't get enough of depressing lyrics mixed with a tune that's just super fun to listen to (see: "i took a pill in ibiza (seeb remix)," "pompei," "some nights"). def checking out more of this band.

NEEDTOBREATHE is giving me this feeling almost like... idk "drive all night" was giving me flashbacks to matchbox 20's yourself or someone like you album. just gives me that late 90s/early 00s alt rock feel though i'm not entirely sure why. i totally stand by yourself or someone like you and mad season even 20 years later so this is a good thing.

speaking of late 90s... i don't think i've ever listened to any switchfoot unless maybe there was some stuff on the radio around that time. this is also sending me back to the days where i started to realize there was more to listen to than just country. it's a little harder rock than i usually get into but i dig it!

At 0:08 in the video, all member’s names are graffiti’d on the walls.

From about 0:25 to 0:29, Steve Aoki’s eyes watch over the boys from the Mic Drop remix. Also, the TV says ARMY <3

Also at 0:29, there are posters lining the walls from BTS’s past comebacks. If you look closely, you can also see their logo on the controllers (this is much more easily visible later on in the video). The room MIGHT also be modeled to look like a room in their current dorm but I’m not sure.

At 0:30, the first screen of the game finally shows up, and it lasts for about 10 seconds. In that time, we can see:

The stage is modeled from their first music video, No More Dream

J-Hope (who’s character name is written as JHS in the game-- short for Jung Hoseok, his real name) is firing a Supreme gun that shoots fake money (lol).

The little mascot in the Info section is Van, a mascot from the BT21 series created by BTS and Line. Each mascot was made by/represents one member of BTS, except for Van, who represents ARMYs.

“Today, your dream begins! A new path has been opened, don’t hesitate!” I am pretty sure these are lyrics from one of their songs since, throughout the video, Van pretty much mostly speaks in lyrics. I haven’t been able to find this one though.

At 0:41, the stage changes to reflect their We Are Bullet Proof Pt. 2 music video.

Van’s quote “It’s like a desert here, there’s nothing but rocks” is a reference to the hidden song on the LYH album, Sea.

ALSO, a some of the monsters designs are based on lyrics and references from BTS’s music. I’m sure all of them are but I just can’t make the connection. Maybe the rock monster is also a reference to Sea?

Edit: Apparently most of the enemy designs are based off of album covers! This is according to Kiera’s twitter.

At 0:46, Suga joins the party as MYG (short for Min Yoongi, his real name).

J-Hope’s special attack at 0:48 is a reference to the short movie he stars in during the Wings era called MAMA (also the name of his solo song in the Wings album).

I’m not sure I even have to put this, but the great transition at 0:51 is a dead ringer for the iconic MIC MIC BUNGEE move that Suga and J-Hope do in the Mic Drop remix MV.

So now Suga is in the frontlines, attacking. His method of attack is the lighter he’s seen with throughout the entire HYYH series. It first made it’s appearance in the I NEED U music video (seen clearly at 0:29).

The stage has changed to reflect their music video N.O. The red and white color palettes of the monsters in this area are supposed to reflect the red and white album.

And at 1:05 (we’re only A MINUTE INTO THIS VIDEO WOW), they’re in the classroom setting from Boy In Luv. I have no idea what the monster is supposed to be. Is it balancing on a candle? Chalk? Does it represent the red string of fate???

Whoa hey, it’s 1:07 and we’re in the Just One Day music video! I’m fairly sure that paper airplane monster refers to the paper airplane J-Hope had in Spring Day? (At 3:20.) I don’t recall paper airplanes in their other MVs unless there was one in Just One Day that I missed?

Also, it looks like V has shown up! (As KTH, or Kim Taehyung.)

Suga’s special attack starts at about 1:09 and lasts until 1:14. In it, he throws a rock at the monster, an alarm goes off, and a piano falls on the monster’s head. This is a reference to the short film FIRST LOVE, released during the Wings era. In it, Suga throws a rock into a music store, where a piano sits, and an alarm goes off.

Back in the real world at 1:15, we can see more detailed posters from different eras. I just know the Dope era one on the right.

At 1:18, we’re in the underground subway setting for Danger. (If it wasn’t obvious, the stage appearances correspond to the order the actual music videos were released in.) V unleashes his attack, unfurling black wings and firing feathers. In the MV for Blood, Sweat, and Tears, as well as other subsequent material during this era, V was seen and associated with black wings. I think he’s fighting the Gucci snake? Because V loves Gucci in real life?

Also, Van is back! “It’s already your second year, time flows fast...” references their song Second Grade/So 4 More (which is an underrated BANGER btw).

Also, easter egg time: There’s graffiti reading “What Am I to You?” which is the title of one of their intro songs.

New player! Jin (aka KSJ, aka Kim Seokjin) appears at 1:24 and fights by blowing kisses :). Blowing kisses at ARMYs is pretty much his thing lol. Also, blowing kisses sends out hearts that hurt the enemy, and while that’s a common visualization for blowing kisses, I pray that its also a reference to Jin’s heart events.

They’re at the storefront present in the War of Hormone MV. The enemy he’s fighting is, I think, one of the black-clothed goons from Not Today and the Mic Drop remix MV. (It also appeared in Kiera’s last full-length fan animation of Cypher Pt. 3. That video is itself chock-full of references! Incidentally, I believe Van’s quote here is also referencing that song.)

Two seconds later at 1:26, Jimin (aka PJM, aka Park Jimin) makes his appearance. This time, they’re at the bonfire scene from I NEED U (also appears in their prologue MV I think). Their fighting a flower monster that I don’t know the significance of.

Jimin attacks with an umbrella. I think the umbrella is from the Love Yourself short films but I’m not entirely sure.

At 1:37, we get our first look at the achievement system in this game.

It’s all the awards they’ve won up until this point! Really awesome touch.

Two new players appear this time: Jungkook (JJK, Jeon Jungkook) and RM (KNJ, Kim Namjoon). I have no idea what Jungkook’s attack is: he pulls some string from his wrist and it transforms into a spear? Jungkook’s attack may be referencing the move from DNA. Strands of DNA come oout of his arm and form a spear. (Thank you @bangpdofficial!)

The stage is a scene from their Dope MV. Van’s quote, “so this is Bangtan style,” references the same song.

I am almost certain that the lion enemy has a mane modeled after the lily flower that appears frequently in the Bangtan Cinematic Universe. It’s even got six petals.

At 1:46, Jimin unleashes his special attack. The attack involves him eating an apple and then teleport-kicking the enemies. I think this is a reference to his short film, LIE.

The stage is from the For You MV, a song/MV exclusively released in Japan. I am not sure what the enemies are supposed to be.

Jimin’s kick transitions into the next scene, where the stage is modeled after the tunnel scene from the RUN MV. I am pretty sure the enemy is a reference to Baepsae/Crow-tit, and this bird represents the wealthy older generation.

A wild BTS lightstick appears at 1:53! (Also, we got some new scenes of their room with some new posters.) 9:18 might refer to the date the Love Yourself album was released (thank you anon!)

A new stage shows up at 1:55. I don’t quite recognize it but it might be the Japanese version of I NEED U? We can also get a clearer look at the bird from Baepsae.

At 1:57 we come to yet another new stage modeled after the Japanese Run MV. It’s filled with graffiti of the names of a ton of their songs.

V activates his special attack. A single lightbulb hangs from the ceiling and a table appears, which he kicks towards the baepsae. I believe it’s a reference to his interrogation scene in his short film, STIGMA.

Also, in a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it moment, V’s attack animation ends with him giving a peace sign and his adorable puppy Yeontan popping out of his pocket.

Two minutes into the video and we get a new stage (modeled after the Fire MV) and we finally see RM’s attack. He pulls out a giant lollipop and smacks enemies with it. He’s frequently seen with a yellow lollipop in the Bangtan Cinematic Universe.

And now they’re in a stage modeled after the Save Me MV.

Again, the stage changes into one based on Young Forever. I don’t know what that enemy’s supposed to be, but he’s pretty cool looking. And an animation for downed party members has never been so cute. (But what is that in Jin’s arms?)

At 2:08, RM provides an assist move that revives V and Jin. It takes the appearance of his BT21 mascot, Koya.

We get another look at the achievements screen at 2:10. It’s coming along nicely!

And a level selection screen a couple of seconds later! Not only does it show the title of the MV, but the description includes the album the song came from. The level code is also the date of the comeback (thank you @bangpdofficial)

2:18 shows a stage based on the Blood, Sweat, and Tears MV, as well as my favorite enemy design in the whole video: a dear featuring the circle designs from the Wings album cover.

For his special attack, RM unleashes a phone booth to crush the enemies, referencing his short film REFLECTION.

More awards!

Also, seems like the boys have started taking notes. You can see a DNA strand drawn on the bottom one (blocked a little by the YouTube bar--sorry about that).

New stage at 2:30! It’s the train from Spring Day. Van’s line about forgetting shoes also references the lone pair of shoes featured many times in that video.

Jin summons his pet sugar gliders to restore the HP of the rest of the party (to the bewilderment of Van).

Jin uses his special attack in the Not Today stage at 2:45. He takes a photo with the polaroid camera seen many times in the Bangtan Cinematic Universe, and it turns the enemy to stone. It crumbles away under his touch. This might relate to the way Jin crumbled as though he were stone in the Blood Sweat and Tears MV.

At 2:50, we’re taken to a new stage. I think it’s based on the Japanese MV of Blood Sweat and Tears. Van’s quote is another reference to the song Sea.

A closer look at the controller at 2:55.

Even more awards! Too many that I can’t even count ‘em.

And at 3:03, we see a DNA-based stage. Van’s quote is once again from Sea.

Jungkook’s special attack has all the other members in BTS appear behind him in succession before he delivers a punch to the enemy. It’s safe to say that this references the song (not the short film) BEGIN, which is something of an ode to the hyungs of Bangtan. <3 (song) (film)

3:20. Hey look it’s pretty much a direct replica of that one scene from DNA (at 3:49).

At 3:25 we get our first look at the game over screen. Among a bunch of other “you have failed” messages, there’s this one (”don’t be such a try-hard”) that further references Baepsae.

Looks like they keep getting knocked out in the Mic Drop stage. That weird rainbow ball from DNA is tough.

Van’s words of encouragement are nearly a direct quote from the best-known line in Sea. “Where there’s hope, there’s trials.”

Last but not least, BTS’s achevements have earned them a spot on the world’s scoreboard, their debut on Billboard’s Hot 100 as number 28. <3

This fan animation was absolutely stellar and the attention to detail was mind-blowing. Even the tiniest details like how each member’s idle animation would work had so much thought put into it. Again, mad props to @seiyoko, @salukiart and @yowgurt for their incredible work!

FUQ

That stands for Frequently Unasked Questions because people rarely ask me any of these so FAQ would be a lie.

Q: Sempai, how do I get you to notice me?! A: Send me a message or ask! I don’t have to be following you to do so! Also, don’t be shy to tell me about some content you think I might enjoy. I basically only follow people who tag descriptively. Generally this means, at minimum, fandom, pairings, and marking explic!t content. I don’t have any triggers, but I do have some strong squicks, and I look to be able to filter those out as well.

Q: You used to follow me and now you don’t, did I do something wrong? A: Almost certainly not. If you don’t usually tag your Tumblr, that’s probably the reason why I unfollowed, so don’t brood any more than that. I follow a lot of blogs and I rely on people tagging well to help my blacklist keep up by filtering out shows I don’t watch and content I don’t want to see. I’m not angry at you for not tagging--it’s your blog--but if I can’t figure out a filter to keep stuff I don’t want on my dash, I unfollow.

Tumblr also glitches a lot. I have been on both sides of a Tumblr-induced unfollow. If I used to follow you, now I’m not, and you tag well, message me to check in! It’s totally possible I don’t realize that Tumblr made me unfollow you. Fuckin’ Tumblr, man. I’m also always willing to explain an unfollow if you want to know why.

Q: Why did you block me? A: Almost everyone I’ve blocked is because they blocked me first, so uh, check that first of all. If you’re a fairly block-happy person, maybe you don’t even remember doing it. I block anyone who I discover has blocked me. If you no longer wish to block me, you can reach out through another person or perhaps an anon ask to tell me that you want to be cool now and we’ll be cool. Simple as that.

I’ve also preemptively blocked people who expressed an explicit desire not to interact with people who ship my ships or have my opinions. Eg, making or reblogging a post that says “kaka//saku do not interact”. These blocks are my attempt to make YOU comfortable. I respect people’s desires to curate their Tumblr experience. If you think this may be the reason I blocked you and you are ok with me interacting with you, reach out to me through a third party and I’ll unblock.

Another possibility is that you’re a troll who has left me or one of my friends a personal attack, uses slurs, etc. Have you done that? Don’t be like that.

Third possibility is a mistake--I’ve mistaken you for a spam bot, or Tumblr has done something wonky, etc.

Q: I ship your NOTP. Do you hate me? A: Why would I hate you just because you have an incorrect opinion of whether two fictional characters should rub their genitals together? No. I don’t hate you just because you ship my NOTP, and you are completely welcome to follow me, message me, etc.

Q: So Sasu//Saku is fine then right and it’s just a matter of taste? A: Haha no canon ending SS is garbage, let’s not get carried away here, I’m just saying I think you can ship it and still be a good/nice person. Just because I don’t shipper bash doesn’t mean I can’t and won’t point out everything that’s wrong with SS as written in canon. This is called “literary criticism” and “critical engagement with mass media” and is something I won’t apologize for enjoying.

Q: LMAO why do you care so much about a cartoon for teenage boys? A: Two possible answers here. One is that you can ridicule basically any hobby or special interest this way--”why do you care so much about some overpaid men kicking around a ball”, “why do you care so much about two needles and some yarn”, “why do you care so much about a tiny plastic train going around a track”. It’s called entertainment, bitch.

Second answer is, my God! If there’s any segment of society that I don’t want uncritically reading stories that reinforce sexist ideas and give abusers carte blanche, it’s teenage goddamn boys. If my little drop in the ocean makes the slightest difference against that, I don’t consider it wasted time.

Q: I do assholish things like tell people to die for shipping the wrong thing but I ship one of your OTPs. We cool right? A: 🎶 don’t stand, don’t stand so, don’t stand so close to me 🎶

Q: I have a squick or trigger, will you tag it for me? A: I will do my best! Send me a message or ask. You don’t have to explain why you don’t like it.

Q: You have a lot of weird tags, do you have a tagging system? A: I do! It’s a bit complex, but in addition to commentary tags (stuff like “too cute” or “i’m crying in the club rn”), I try to tag descriptively for blacklists.

For original content, I usually post character names in several different forms for the benefit of tag search, eg both “Kakashi” and “Kakashi Hatake” and “Hatake Kakashi”. I also tag with the original artist’s name (if it’s a repost or translation), and “creative commons” or “with permission” depending on whether I was following a usage policy or explicitly got permission from the artist.

For reblogs, I only tag character’s first names, generally.

My meta tag is “naruto analysis”. My typesets tag is “my typesets”. My fanfic tag is “my fanfic”.

I try to tag triggers like “alcohol /” and “blood /” with the slash at the end.

If a piece of art could be interpreted as romantic or platonic, I usually tag with both the character names and the ship name. If it is unmistakably romantic, I only tag the ship name.

Q: You post a lot of stuff and I don’t always come back to Tumblr that often, but I’m really interested in [this character/pairing]. Could you message me when you post original content for that character/pairing? A: I can try! I do this for some people already. Obviously if tons of people want me to do this it won’t work, but right now I’m doing it for less than ten and it works ok. Message me!

Q: Is this a sideblog? Do you run any other blogs? A: It’s Naruto on main here, baby. I have a few other sideblogs. @fineilikefmab is a blog for Fullmetal Alchemist content. @domesticaphrodite is for food, beauty, lifestyle etc and is more of a personal blog. @fineilikesmut (which I can’t tag) is my blog for reblogs that are not SFW.

Q: I found some Chinese art that I want translated! Will you do that? A: Send me the link! I will definitely consider it. Any pairing will be considered except post-699 canon-compliant SS. Right now, I only do typesets for artists who give me permission to modify their work. (I have complex feelings about fair use and abandoned works, but as a matter of priorities, when there are artists who have given me permission whose works haven’t been translated fully, it only makes sense to prioritize them.)

You can also request a character or pairing and I’ll go hunting for content on my own. Some pairings that are very popular among English speakers are not popular among Chinese speakers and vice versa, so obviously my ability to find content depends on that content existing.

Q: I’ve noticed you repost work from Chinese artists. Sometimes you say “with permission” and sometimes you mention something about CC-BY or similar. What is this CC thing? A: Creative Commons is a copyleft movement dedicated to make it easier for people to share their work while retaining aspects of control that are important to them. As opposed to copyright, a CC license makes a work freely sharable and may or may not permit changing the work and using the work for profit. The website LOFTER, by default, does not apply any CC license to artists’ work, but they can opt in to using one, and there are a variety to choose from. Therefore, you can be confident that the artist chose to let people share (with credit) or remix their work.

Q: Can I ask you something about your writing? A: YES PLEASE DO THAT :D :D :D

I really do hope you'll feel better soon... Don't think to much about things that stress you. Actually that's surprisingly one of the reasons people can get a cold. Stress. If you ever try to cook chicken soup, please be careful. Don't pull a Namjoon. Don't forget to drink water ! (again, not too cold). Do you have scented candles ? It can help you to relax. I loved minty yoongi and pastel blue is very close to that so i am all *heart eyes* His hair would have been all healthy again at this point. Bleaching all of that is such a shame. I hope he thought it was okay to dye it again.
