Is anyone else seeing how this show was clearly based off Brittney L. Williams fanart comic, The Daily Planet Files? Like I hope she got some money or a job or something from this. The anime influence is clear, but a lot of the show in spirit felt like what Brittney was pitching DC Comics.

Showing movement in comics. Sometimes you just need to find the perfect single gesture. Sometimes you need to use motion lines. And sometimes, when your need is greatest, you reach deep into your bag of tricks and pull out the big gun.
These are all from the team behind Superman's Pal Jimmy Olsen. SPJO was written by Matt Fraction, drawn by me (@stevelieber) colored by @nathanfairbairn, and lettered by Clayton Cowles. If you want to read it, get it from your local comic shop, or I have a few copies available in my etsy store. https://www.etsy.com/listing/877872677/back-in-stock-supermans-pal-jimmy-olsen

The latest episode of My Adventures with Superman reminds me of the first story in Superman's Pal Jimmy Olsen's Boss Perry White comic.
In this story Perry White reminescents about all the times when he was writing pieces in the line of "Superman saves the Metropolis".
But then comes the time when Lex Luthor created an anti-alien robots which were technically supposed to protect humans form alien invades, but you know Lex Luthor built them to fight Superman. And they do.
So what happens next?
Well...

I love how Clark breaking the 4th wall is noticeably bizarre in canon.
