okay but the way the crowd coming together to protect kamala, it was so much like raimi-era spider man where new yorkers would take on goblin or doc oc to protect peter and i can’t believe how much I sobbed, these are the tropes I have missed in marvel movies.

The Khan’s are just PHENOMENAL. They’re so warm and vibrant and hysterical in all the best ways. The MCU is absent/shitty/dead/evil-parent-and-complicated-family central, theres too much familial feuding at times, whether that family is blood or adopted or found, so I am LIVING for and LOVING how the Khan’s are just so normal and ordinary and wonderful. It’s no wonder Kamala has such a can-do, confident, positive attitude. It’s no wonder she’s such a dreamer and proudly herself and so damn funny when she’s surrounded by so much love and encouragement. Kamala Khan and the fam need to be in more Marvel movies, their dynamic is just joyous and healing and I will NOT tolerate another Aunt May incident. I WILL NOT. I swear if anything happens to ANY of them-

Ms Marvel is good so far and i am not really digging the changes they have made to kamala from comics but the show is actually great so far, shit all of a Sudden Gets So Real and then its also a Silly Fun adventurous ride most of the time

i know theres like. three people who actually have disney+ on this site but if you have disney+, please please please leave ms marvel running. i dont care if you dont want to watch it, if you hate it, if you cant stand the difference between the comics and the show, etc etc i DONT care. but this is the first time a ginormous corporation has allowed this extent of representation of desi kids, and desi SUPERHEROES at that, with a majority brown and other cast, crew, and production members of color, and we have GOT to show them that we want this. YES at the sake of benefitting disney YES at the sake of giving them money. if you can do it, do it. if only for this. if only so the first time i see any semblance of myself on screen will not be the last.
