it was pirate weekend at the ren faire last weekend, so here’s me and my brother as Nami and cabin-boy Shanks :) (faces redacted for privacy lol)
also shoutout to the other one piece cosplayers we saw, including:
- somebody in a full Franky bodysuit in like 90 degree (F) heat
- vice-admiral Garp, (at pirate weekend) complete with dog hat
- some guy who might have been Mihawk but also might have just been wearing a black hat with a feather and a cross necklace??
and last but certainly not least:
- a tiny little Luffy who barely came up to my hip when we took a picture together, did the iconic Shanks + Luffy pose with my brother, and when I saw him later in the day I heard his dad say “look, there’s Nami!” and he waved at me… it was so cute I literally almost cried 😭

OMG!! so I went to a con In my area and got to meet Richard Horvitz!!(aka the voice of moxie from helluva boss)I literally about stroked out when I asked him a question during his panel. He is such a cool and fun guy. 10/10 do recommend to meet again.

There are so many interesting takes. Typing, Attacks, Abilities, Rarity, Evolution.
Why are some Pokemon dual typed and others not? Why some only after evolution? If two Floragato are trained alongside each other, both treated the exact same way, but only one evolves into Meowscarda, would the other still not gain the Dark Type?
Why do some Pokemon only learn certain attacks, or don't learn others? Magikarp is a fish, why shouldn't it know attacks like Aqua Jet or Watergun?
What exactly determines if a Pokemon is a Legendary or not? Entei's dex entry says every time it roars, a new Entei is born. In the 4th movie, we've seen countless Celebi, so it can't be if there's only one. And if we go by strength, then some of them are still outmatched by other, non legendary Pokemon.
How do wild Kadabra, Haunter or Machoke evolve if we need to trade them once they're caught? Or wild Galarian Yamask. Why do the evolution stones only effect some Pokemon, not all of them? Did the stone evolution like Bellossom or Vileplum just not exist before the stones came to light? Or did Pokemon, with time and more exposure to the stones, loose their ability to evolve without them?
So many topics!
SOOOO MANY TOPICS!! God I got my own questions too, like why do some abilities completely disappear and get replaced by a new, unrelated one? Bagon's Sheer Force is a brilliant ability that they completely lose once they're a Shellgon in favor of Overcoat, and somehow it becomes Moxie when it's a Salamence. WHAT??? And then it's normal ability, Rock Head, also gets lost once it becomes a Salamence for Intimidate, when you would THINK that a fucking SALAMENCE is INTIMIDATING ENOUGH.
Oh, and I have THOUGHTS on Legendary Pokémon!!! There's no way there's only a singular of every Legendary, otherwise we wouldn't have Tobias, or a reason for Battle Facilities to outright ban legendary Pokémon. Legends Arceus gives us some interesting ideas, like the fact that it gives you a fragment of itself rather than the Real Deal. Celebi is interesting, too, because you can't know if all the Celebi are the same Celebi— time travel makes it possible for there to be multiple of the exact same Celebi to exist at once! But also, we DO know there's other Celebi because of Explorers of Sky, PINK CELEBI. So, is it that there's just multiple, or it's the same Pokémon split into multiple fragments of itself, or is it that there's offspring of the original, while the main Legendary is the True Holder of the Legendary status?
And what is up with priority moves? Why do they completely disregard a Pokémon's natural speed? Is there more strain in using priority moves when your speed is lower? Is there a way to measure that?
Also why is it that Magikarp and Feebas are essentially almost the exact same Pokémon with their stats switched? Why is it that Feebas' move pool, specifically its TM move pool, INSANE in comparison to Magikarp? What is it about Magikarp that makes it incapable of doing the same moves as Feebas despite them being nearly identical?
My personal favorite question. WHY IS THERE ONLY A SINGULAR MOVE THAT DOES DUAL-TYPE DAMAGE? Why the FUCK is Hawlucha the only Pokémon capable of dealing dual-type damage?! Except, of course, Cosplay Pikachu, who is apparently a FREAK OF NATURE???

For anyone in the Transformers fandom whose absolutely done with bots or people misusing the tag, I present the block list. Every name is those that spam lewd/suggestive pictures and are attention seekers(posting their own faces instead of anything related to the tag). This is Tumblr, not Pornhub, Twitter(refuse to call it X) or Tinder.
Transformers tag is for the franchise that involves the various characters, storyline, lore and etc. Where people can share their merch, cosplays, fanart, favorite clips, plus so much. We don't need these unnecessary posts clogging up the channel. This will update with each blog I find.

Random but specific headcanons about my redacted listener oc's part: 5 freelancer
DISCLAIMER: these are headcanons for MY ocs it's totally ok for you to disagree with any of them and have your own opinion these are just my ocs
• their real name is Casper but honestly they're so used to "freelancer" or "deviant" that they sometimes forget their own name XD
• they are non bionary
• they're pansexual with no particular preference
• whenever they hang out with members of the damn gang 1 on 1 they try to make sure their outfits match ( like if their hanging out with Huxley they'll wear green and if their hanging out with Damian they'll wear red you get the idea)
• the backstory I came up with for them is pretty long so I'll make it separately some other time
• they die their hair avidly but when they first started dating Gavin they died (some of) their hair hot pink
• both them and Gavin have breast removal surgery/scars
• Gavin really wants to get a cat with them but there's "not enough room in the apartment"
• they can play the electric guitar and Gavin loves watching them play
• they DO NOT have a good realationship with their parents
• they are the ✨ disappointment of the family✨ who loves to p*ss them off
• when Gavin first started flirting with lasko, lasko would apologize A LOT for getting flustered to Casper but they were always just like "lol why?"
• they are very ok with Gavin just openly flirting with other people just cos they find it funny
• when asked about this (by either lasko or Damian) how their so comfortable with it they basically said that they just don't ever get jealous like EVER and they only consider something "cheating" when someone f*s somone else without telling them first
• this baffles Damian so freelancer took this to mean that he'd get jealous if someone ever flirted with Huxley XD
• they new about Damian and Huxley from the MOMENT they met and was just waiting for something to happen
• they try SO hard to not let other water elementals bother them but sometimes they just cant be in the room with them (and they feel awful because of it)
• they are really good at singing and when they have time they film themselves making covers of songs they like
• Gavin and Casper both watch hellova boss and hazbin hotel together
• they have both cosplayed as ALL the power couples from both shows eg. Moxie and mille, blitzo and stolas, angle dust and Alistor that sort of thing

As we're currently doing Cops an' Easter Bunnies with Rudie (Santa's chief enforcer) in a Dragnet pastiche, I thought another Cop pix might be apropos – Yes, before there was Dirty Harry - before Joe Friday - even before Eliot Ness, there were the Keystone Kops! You want to talk about "Police Brutality" - you want to talk about "Excessive Force" – well you shouldn't talk to those guys, unless you want to get bonked on the head or a pie in the face! When they were on patrol, no one was safe! (occasionally not even the Crooks)... As such, thought you might enjoy this Keystone Kop pix from 2017... The basic movie frame is from: "Abbott and Costello meet the Keystone Cops" (a mediocre flick in general, however the extended Keystone Cop chase at the finale is a lot of fun and makes watchin' it all worthwhile! (or just fast-forward through to the chase)) ...Following that is a how-to piece I did for a friend to demonstrate some of the photoshop magic used to kludge together the pix...
Kelly's pose was inspired by an old pulp cover from the '40s, of a shapely damsel similarly draped over the cowling of a Japanese fighter plane... Bunz & Katz were naturals for the pix, as were the Gophers & Pandora (Kitty version), while Taffy is short enough to perch on the running board without blocking anything essential... But who to put into the far left of the truck bed stymied me for a bit, 'til I realized that Ossifer Moxie of the LAPD Cosplay Division would fit in nicely... Here she is, uniformed as Chaplin from, "Easy Street"...

some friendship bracelets i made last-minute as an accessory for my epel cosplay for otakon!
ace + deuce:
- scarlet/blue/red/navy
- thick stripes
-it took them at least three tries to make (previous attempts ended up in flames)
- there was definitely magic cheating involved
sebek:
- green/lime/pink
- simple braid
- the pink is for the roses of briar valley
- he thinks braids are more elegant/sophisticated than knotted bracelets
jack:
- yellow/brown/cream
- “chinese staircase” pattern
- it’s a more common bracelet style in the shaftlands + sunset savannah
- epel likes it cause it’s savanaclaw colors
vil + rook:
- purple/lavender/gold/black
- thin stripes
- vil saw the first-years making bracelets and wanted to make one for epel too
- rook made the actual bracelet since skill in tying ropes apparently translates to bracelet-making somehow?
yuu + grim (+ ortho):
- white/blue/black
- chevrons
- grim didn’t really do much but insisted it was from him too since yuu is his henchman
- ortho doesn’t have the most dexterous fingers (robot) so he mostly helped keep people on their patterns and measured thread
