Me too man. But my mental and physical health is kind'a tanking atm. I just don't have the energy to pick up a passion project of that scale right now..

If you're patient and stick around though, we're bound to see more of my FNAF security breach AU someday.. Once I can get on top of all this crap I'm dealing with-

Not quite sure what you're asking.. so I'll just answer in multiple ways!

My favorite movies of all time are Pixars cars 1 and 3. I cannot watch either without crying 😭 they are my absolute favorites and I hold them very close to my soul 💖

Still to this day, even after all this time, Gravity Falls is my top favorite show. Despite all the cringe I made for it back in the day- it still holds up as my most beloved show I've ever drawn about.

As for fandom, like the people? I thiiiink the FNAF fandom was my favorite to interact with..? I remember a lot of interaction with the fans in general, which meant a lot to me :)

Bibi and Cici are just odd little critters XD though Bibi is very cat-like in nature and Cici is based on a mouse :0

I'm not sure how they feel about being dolls. I'd assume they don't really mind it! XD

She is indeed a kid, but that's becuase all I had to go off of was her info picture and fanart I saw of her. For some reason a lot of art I saw of Sally depicted her as this total gremlin character that's always getting into trouble.

So I thought hey! Why not make it so she fell to "Earth" as a little tot and was raised by Poppy? In present day she could be like 13-15 and her chaotic energy would make sense and be fun to mess with!

Though after watching GTlive do a vid on the Halloween update, I realize that I wrote her personality completely wrong. Sooo I miiight need to rework her entire story and character- whoops! <XDD

Considering Sally is gonna need some restructuring, I'm not sure where Poppy stands atm-- <:DD

AAAA Thank you!! :DD I've very glad you like them! :D And I'm not sure how a meeting with the pirates and cowboys would go.. its funny though becuase a lot of Canned Tuna's design was copied from Canned Beans cookie. Even the name! So if they ever met maybe they'd have a stand off XDD

I haven't thought much about how the Captain would react.. maybe the Vegimals are something he just cant wrap his head around and chooses not to talk about it XDD

I think Poppy Playtime it pretty neat! Though I haven't seen a playthrough of chapter 3 yet so I haven't formed an opinion on the smiling critters. :0 Other than their smiles are WAY too big and creepy XDDD

AAAA I'm so glad you're interested in him! Uuuunfortunately,, looking back it seems the only artwork I have of Melvin is just a bunch of strange angst for no good reason-

So I'm afraid I don't really have any artwork to share,, and most of the story has already been told.. but this ask makes me want to come back to Melvin sometime! Maybe expand on his story more, or just draw him again in general!

fictional girls who should have been gay

Minnie Mouse and Daisy Duck, from the 2004 "Micky, Donald, Goofy: The Three Musketeers" animated movie.

The situation: GAY

Princess and lady-in-waiting. Is there anything more intimate and potentially gay than a girl and the girl who she specifically keeps around just to officially hang out with? I don't care I love it.

they are the most romantic thing in this movie

Their introduction scene is Minnie sighing over her future love (hypothetical and male and not necessarily royal) while blowing flower petals in Daisy's face

Daisy has reservations

but when Minnie is explaining True Love to her (while they hold hands and twirl around the room)

Minnie says she'll know her true love because she'll hear music (sentimental music is now playing) and they'll make her laugh- AND THEN DAISY LAUGHS

she starts saying that sounds silly...

but Minnie looks at her, and flutters her eyes at her...

and Daisy just MELTS. She clasps her hands over her heart and switches to sighing that that sounds lovely...

who drew and directed that and didn't notice how much it looks like Daisy just fell in love with Minnie. hey. I want to know

did they realize they could've had Daisy staring at something else?

(i cannot get over how the flower wilts the last time we see it, right after Minnie says "trust me Daisy, I'll know him, when I see him)

(I understand it's meant to be like, oh look the flower looks like Micky now she'll know him when she sees him- but it could also look like HER, Minnie is talking to Daisy about true love and knowing it when it's there but oh the IRONY if Daisy was in love with HER while she says that!!! With Minnie having no idea!!!!)

how about just not have Minnie flutter her eyelashes at Daisy like that

have HER not be looking at Daisy when she's talking about true love

anything. anything else would have worked better

Well apparently none of those options occurred to the film makers because these girls are supposed to be STRAIGHT somehow

(Minnie, princess of prolonged held eye contact)

(and Daisy, lady of keeps having to look away when Minnie is staring at her Like That)

Moments later, after a montage of Minnie strolling around the gardens dreaming of love (to the tune of a song about young love), an attempt on her life is thwarted by DAISY asking her to come over for a moment, moving Minnie out of the path of a falling safe meant to crush her

(by the way, holy heck it feels honestly scary. it just. DROPS)

The song lyric leading up to Daisy calling out for Minnie is "Your first your only love~! Love so-" (can't hear properly)

Minnie being willing to leave her daydreams of love for Daisy no questions asked is what saves her actual literal life I'm sorry but again why did they think having Daisy being the reason she lives was so important. This is a Micky Mouse cartoon legit just have Minnie stand up on her own and wander out of harm's way or get distracted by a flower or something but NOOOOO it's DAISY who unknowingly gets her out of danger, it's Minnie listening to her that saves her. ARGH IT COULD HAVE MEANT SO MUCH BUT

Minnie has actual whole conversations with Daisy. Actual. Talking. Sharing of thoughts and opinions. Chances to see their personalities and how they play off each other.

Princess Minnie, the slightly head in the clouds princess, and Daisy, grounded and a bit dry

Minnie: He loves me. He loves me… a lot. He loves me. He loves me even moooore. He loves me...

Daisy: Pardon me, Your Highness… (blows some free-floating petals off her face) you‘re, kinda mangling that flower.

like there's this set up for Minnie being rebellious enough to reject tradition and rules, being annoyed at them for cramping her style

Daisy: This, fantasy man- (the exasperation on those two words XD), d'you happen to know if he's royalty?

Minnie: Does it matter?

Daisy, breathlessly: Well, as you know, someone of your, royal stature, needs to be courted by a gentleman of royal blood.

Minnie: What a royal pain.

It's supposed to be about getting with a commoner instead, but... HMM I WONDER WHAT OTHER SOCIAL EXPECTATIONS MINNIE COULD BREAK.

A gentleman of royal blood? Well what if it's not! A gentleman!!

Minnie: Daisy, I can't marry someone I'm not in love with.

Daisy: You want love? Buy a dog.

the delicious set up as Daisy as jaded and practical BUT moments later she can't help herself with Minnie, she can't ruin Minnie's little happy bubble, she can't keep pushing Minnie away from her dream

When Minnie gazes at her all warm and mushy, Daisy has to giggle and admit that the idea of a true love who makes you laugh is just Lovely, actually

she says, while staring back at Minnie

WRITERS I WANT TO TALK WITH YOU I JUST WANT TO CHAT

but anyway, they have a flow, a rapport, they play off each other and clearly care about each other and, meanwhile, M e a n w h i l e

meanwhile, nearly all the time Minnie spends "being in love" with Micky is done in silent daydream episodes where they float on clouds and stuff. They get a montage of vague cute stuff. It's a whole lot of Nothing. Very pretty! But nothing

They see each other and it's supposed to be love at first sight. Whee. I'd find it cute if Minnie didn't already have someone and Micky wasn't mostly focused on being a good Musketeer. What do they give each other? They hardly even TALK! At the end of the movie I still have no idea how they'd get through a simple conversation! As a crush sure it reads fine- but true love? Where? When????

MOMENTS after meeting and "falling for" Micky, Minnie is yelling at him and his friends, furious because they accidently attacked Daisy thinking she was a threat

wow good job showing us Minnie's priorities here. Good job showing us she cares about Daisy

good job not using that to let her and Micky like, talk, or anything

Daisy, meanwhile, spends the whole movie with 0% interest in Donald at all, nothing but burns and scorn, only getting with him in the last moments literally just because why not

As in that's honestly the reason the movie gives. Not that she likes him. Just. Why not.

Minnie: What do you mean?

Daisy: Well, look at me! If it did, I’d get stuck with Mister… (squawking and babbling)

hey remember how Minnie laughed when Micky rolled a nat 0 trying to untie her and the narrator was like "Oh he made her laugh! It must be love!"

remember when Daisy makes Minnie laugh with a Donald Duck impersonation? While they were in bed together??

NARRATOR IF A LAUGH IS ALL IT TAKES THEN CHIME IN PLEASE

Do You Remember when Micky and co failed and Minnie was kidnapped by badguys and Micky had a moment of slump before getting his second wind? Was he motivated by thoughts of his True Love? Was he thinking of Minnie when he decided not to give up on saving her??

NO.

he was looking at his friends being sad.

He encourages himself thinking about how the captain of the guard chose him and his friends to be musketeers

No Mention Of Minnie At All, Aside From A Quest To Be Cleared

The point of Micky's story is him wanting to be a Musketeer. The emotional climax is always between him and his two friends. THE ROMANCE IS SO WEIRD IT DOES NOTHING AND COMES FROM NOTHING AND GOES NOWHERE.

Minnie has no character growth no obstacles nothing to do. she was ready to throw tradition aside for the man of her dreams the moment we saw her-

IMAGINE the crunchiness if she had either a moment of "wait actually, i think he's cute but this isn't love" OR "hey wait all this time I've been dreaming of a guy maybe it's not a guy though? Tee hee let's destroy some more social norms!"

(don't for the love of all things bring up lines of succession this is alternate universe france in the 1600-1700's there is a Lot To Gloss Over Okay)

And Daisy is RIGHT THERE.

Not interested in guys! Sighing over Minnie! Staying with her throughout the whole movie because apparently you can't kidnap the princess without her lady in waiting!

RAAAGH. I know, I know Disney and gay don't mix, especially in 2004- but why why why why did they think Minnie had to be with Micky in this one? Why did they make the emptiest crush ever instead of just letting Minnie and Daisy chill up on the throne dais together? IM IN PAIN EVERY TIME I REWATCH THIS.

tldr: Daisy was in love with princess Minnie, and if Minnie had known she's the exact sort of rebel princess to just marry her lady-in-waiting like a boss

I saw u were taking nimona headcanons so I wanted to add a couple I have

I think nimona would be a very clingy baby. She likes being carried around and will latch onto her daddys’ arms or legs, forcing them to take her with them all day

I also think that she would like that game where she stands in between balister and ambrosius and they take her hands and swing her up into the air

She also adores the playground. She loves running and climbing and playing with the other kids. She cries when they leave but they can’t stay there forever, it’s nap time now. She says that she’s not tired but falls asleep in their arms on the way home. Sometimes they have to leave before usual tho bc she starts eating wood chips and/or throwing them at the other kids

I think she would also like playing on balisters metal arm. She holds on and he lifts her up into the air. She loves it. He loves it too… just as long as he’s not trying to work at the same time

They brought her too the zoo once and it didn’t go the way they planned. It started out well, they were saying the names of the animals and the sounds they make and she was really into it. But she got a little too into it and started turning into all the animals. It was a lot harder to keep track of her after that so they had to bribe her out of the zoo with churros

She's the clingiest baby everrrr! She'll shift into an itty bitty mouse so that she can sleep soundly in their pocket and be lulled by the sound of their heartbeat ♡♡

The creator actually has art of that!!!! From the "gay dad au"(tho i thiink she's puddle jumping, but it couls be the swingy arm thing, too!♡) aaa💖💖💖💖

Sometimes at the playground, the other kids are playing "royalty" where someone is the queen, the knights, etc- Nimona is "the anarchist who sets fire to the kingdom for the abolition of monarchy" character (which, Ambro has to swoop in before she starts trying to throw the playground pebbles as her "arrows"- Balli is lowkey rooting for her in the background because now he's invested in the storyline xD)

Also- she would have soooo many shark plushies n' stuff! When she's tiny, she'll only drink out of her sharkie cup- that or her hands (nature's cups, as she explains to her Dada when he finds her pouring milk into her cupped hand)

1- Three ships

I don't have much really shippy ships XD so these might actually be my only genuine ships. Highsidershipping (Placido/Yusei qpr), Korokara (Korosensei/Karasuma), and I'm gonna have Don Thousand/Ena as the third (I hc them as Astral's parents). I'm also going to add Rio/Trey because I think that's the only other OTP I have XD

2- First ever ship

I have no idea, my ships have always been rare. I feel like maybe Danger Mouse/Penfold but then again I didn't really ship them (aside from platonically)

3-Last Song

I've had enough by Melina KB 😆 (and then immediately before that are a bunch of theme tunes from 2000s cartoons because I was playing them to annoy my mum and sister and for nostalgia)

4-Last Movie

The fact that I don't remember tells me I need to actually watch movies more often XD. Either it was Legally Blonde (I love that movie) or it was Howl's Moving Castle (I love that even more)

Frankenstein by Mary Shelly (trying to annotate it- half the annotations are me calling the characters gay BECAUSE THEY ARE OH MY GOD-) and Death Note (I have a copy of the first four volumes in one). I also have an abandoned read of Jane Eyre I should finish XD

6- Currently watching

Ohhh boyyy. Black Clover, The Apothecary Diaries, Naruto, My Hero Academia, Star Trek the Original Series, technically Yugioh Duel Monsters, and that's all I remember.

7- Currently consuming

Everything BUT the shows I'm watching /j. Okay YouTube videos of either reaction YouTubers like AugusttheDuck, or currently deep dives of frutiger aero, weirdcore, dreamcore,liminal spaces, ect.

8- Currently craving

Not at the moment but I'm sure at some point tonight I'll crave ramen as usual. I just had a grilled cheese sandwich and tomato soup 😋

Well you know...I read that Disney Is going to make at least 50% of its characters gay/lesbian, to become more LGBT friendly...I know that this Will Be about only the new characters (and thanks to Pixar)but come on! Panjose Is pratically Canon! Look how José never be upset/angry/tired of panchito in the cartoons! He's Always smiling at him! Also in the don rosa comics (which I LOVE, even if he described them as womanizers xd but only said,.not actually pictures so....wink wink)

lol I don't know about those numbers, 50% sounds like a very generous percentage if we're talking about the mouse... but amazing news if true!!

Tbh I think that "being canon" is kind of an overrated notion, as in I don't really care if a ship of mine is or will ever become canon. It's just not something that ever impacted on my choice of pairings, you know?

That said Panjosé is very cute and an extremely fun ship to create art for! It also helps that people in the fandom are so nice and welcoming. I really like their dynamic and even when they're depicted as only friends, like in the don rosa's comics, I ALSO SIMPLY LOVE TO SEE IT 💖💖💖

Idk it seems ciscentered, trans excluding to treat “male mice” like a coherent thing — rather than some construct we assign to them like how we assign it with amab people — and then further to conflate 2 male mice together as being yaoi and gay… it reinforces being “male” (amab) as a biological thing not something to do with gender and identity.

imo (birth/biological) sex and gender (as a social construct/role) are 2 seperated things and do not necessarily correlate with each other. gender is what the society expect someone to act like, and sex is just a fact and should have almost 0 impact on the social life.(but the society loves fucking too much so idk)

however the biggest problem is probably our language, for example the sex "male" and the gender "male" are both referred to as male, which can really mess up with our minds. let say hypothetically if the traditional society decided to call "male" (as gender role) the "protector", and "female" (as gender role) the "caretaker", while this might sound sexiest in modern context, it actually seperated sex and gender clearly, and would probably make us trans people's life a lot easier lol

also since the language of sex/gender is messed up, it would make the language of sexuality messed up too...

also for the mice, since we can't communicate with them(as far as i know), we cant know whether they have the concept of gender or how it works so the only thing we can know is their biological sex and 2 amab mice(or human) making a baby is something never happened before(i think???). (also i dont think the concept of human sex/gender should work on other creatures) saying the mice are gay is basically applying human concepts to other animals and dont really work very well. but--- its a meme and its funny xd

tonight’s movie was the little mermaid, which was arin’s pick. she apparently watched it a lot as a kid which I either knew and forgot or never explicitly knew before.

matt said she doesn’t get to see the houses cuz she’s busy working, so she doesn’t have time to have much of an opinion about them (she doesn’t generally have strong opinions about houses anyway other than “does it have a bathtub” and “does it have a garage” and “can I put a chair outside”)

we got into a long discussion of which disney villains were gay coded (basically all of them, although some are ambiguous) and arin earnestly offered to hire me to transcribe her medical notes before I reminded her about the reason she didn’t want to hire me to do her medical coding either (she doesn’t want me to have unrestricted opportunity to argue with her about her work). I said something about I’m very argumentative and everyone’s come to terms with it but also it’s good for them and matt agreed XD altho he said I didn’t need to question his decisions because his clients do that far too much already (to which I countered that at least my questions are useful, which he also agreed)

it was fun. next weekend he wants to watch the great mouse detective or a secret pick in favor of the argument that not all disney villains are queer-coded or toy story 4 since I haven’t seen it.

I’m a little fussy about whether he’ll still come visit if we’re in new york or similarly far away, and arin kinda hedged her bets when answering, something about “he’ll always be welcome”, but I also suspect that if it comes down to “I am sad and I miss you enough to make an impulsive decision” he’s more likely to move than leave us. which, yknow, I don’t want him to have to be away from the rest of his life obviously! but it is clearly the better of the two solutions if push comes to shove.

I’m really happy with how these are coming along, honestly. I think that they’re doing pretty good and I’m getting enough of them done ahead of time that I might have a chance to have them edited and posted on the day! Though the week’s worth of leeway will probably help, too. I’m surprised I don’t write more Stagory, to be honest with you. I always thought I’d write a bunch of them and then I don’t think that I have.

A loud shriek set Stan to panic mode, and once he was finished leaping out of his skin, he jumped into action. Wrenching the trailer door open, he was prepared to find Gregory injured or otherwise threatened, but found nothing at all, not a sign of danger. No blood, no broken bones, not even the evidence of a mouse in the prim man’s on-set abode, and his brows furrowed.

“Gregory?” The larger man had learned early on that it was ‘Gregory’ and not ‘Greg,’ as he’d gotten a rather stern explanation as to why ‘Greg’ was an abborhent shortening of his name, “You okay?”

“I absolutely am not!” Gregory assured him with a soft moan of despair, “Do you see something wrong with these?”

Holding out a gargantuan bouquet of gold-tipped red roses that obscured his face with numbers alone, Gregory huffed and sighed dramatically. Stan rose a brow, confused, as he tried to spot any that were the wrong color, or some that were more wilted than others. When he came up with nothing, he shook his head, only to figure that the blond couldn’t see him for all the flowers.

“Uh… No, I don’t think–”

“You’re right, you don’t think. These are meant to be gold dipped.” Gregory hefted them back onto his well-lit white vanity, careful not to knock into any of his glassware on top. This close, Stan could already smell the sweet red wine on Gregory’s breath, and he sighed through his nose. Taking Stan’s silence as aquiescence to continue, Gregory whined, “These are gold tipped.”

Was that really a good reason for a full-grown man half made-up with his hair in proper curlers to help foster his natural ringlets to throw a tantrum? Evidently Gregory sure seemed to think so.

“So… You’re okay…?” Stan asked finally, dumbstruck by the incredulous hurt on Gregory’s face.

“I am not okay, Stanley, I am devastated.” Gregory sobbed, but Stan was sure that a single tear wouldn’t fall, lest Gregory have to start his makeup over again, “These were meant to be gold dipped, they are bound to die far too soon, and they were a gift for my birthday. I should have checked the shop I ordered them from…”

“Wait, you ordered it?” And for his birthday? Some part of Stan knew that Gregory’s private life, what he had of one, was rough, but he didn’t realize it was ‘lying about an expensive gift he bought himself’ rough. No wonder why he was drinking at eleven in the morning. On his birthday.

“I… Yes,” Gregory let his loose robe fall around his shoulders, cleared his throat, and pointedly lifted his wine glass. Stan watched his Adam’s apple bob with each gulp until the glass was thoroughly drained in awe. When he pulled it back from his lips, Gregory’s face held the most genuine emotion he’d ever seen there; Disappointment. “Is it so strange to buy something nice for yourself?” His voice was quiet and Stan’s heart ached.

He’d heard Gregory going on about how he’d been tipped off that he would receive a nice gift for his birthday from an admirer later in the morning to a few people on the crew. Maybe Gregory didn’t know he’d heard him, but he had… And it softened his eyes, and his heart, even more.

“It’s really not.” There was no way that Stan could wrestle those things away from Gregory like this, but he was at least able to catch the company that had messed them up. Luckily, it looked like they were in town.

He had no clue what it took to dip roses in gold, how long it would have to dry, but he suddenly was very invested in it. When he’d managed to duck out on Gregory and his sulking after a few hasty excuses, Stan knew where he was going for his lunch break. Except that, upon arriving at the flower shop and making his inquiry, Stan was met with the unfortunate news that gold-dipped roses would take up to three days to complete due to the drying process.

At a loss for what to do, Stan left the flower shop dismayed, only for an idea to come as he was driving back towards the studio. His job was literally welding, roses could be welded, and it would only take three hours. It would be fairly simple, and he was more than fine with making the effort for someone on their birthday.

The petals, once they were cut, looked like they belonged in the background of a Spongebob episode, but they formed into the proper shape with heat and twisting. Much as it ate into his afternoon, he was thankful that a couple of his friends in production were willing to cover him when he explained that he was making a last-minute birthday gift. Nobody questioned his intentions.

“Gregory?” Stan finally called out as he saw the actor leaving his trailer that evening once shooting had wrapped up for the day. The blond turned around, adjusting his orange polo shirt and smoothing back his still bouncy, flamboyant curls.

“Yes, Stanley?” He asked, voice tired, eyes tired, everything about him looked tired, bereaved.

“I, uh. Made you this.” Producing the gold rose from behind his back, Stan held it out to a sudden squeal and shine in Gregory’s eyes, “It’s no four dozen, but I couldn’t just watch you–”

Gregory pulled Stan into an uncharacteristic hug, holding him close for nearly a minute with one arm, his other hand curled between them as he held onto his present.

“Oh, I love it.” He whispered, “Thank you, love.” It may have been the most thoughtful present he’d ever received. Without a thought, he pecked the other’s cheek, still smelling of the expensive, sweet wine he drank, “Accompany me to my birthday dinner. I won’t accept ‘no’ for an answer, our reservation is for eight, at Yamashiro Hollywood. Don’t be late.”

Gregory was gone before Stan could protest.

AN: I miss writing for these two, I don’t know if I’ve written much for them in public before. But I absolutely adore these boys, they were my first OTP for one another. I had a lot of fun with this, actually, and I may be convinced to write some more based off of this fic if anyone wants to see it.

You’re a piece of shit the owl house is the best show d*sney ever made and it WAS canceled because the mouse is homophonic

Okay so first of all the best show Disney ever made was Phineas and Ferb so jot that down.

Second I’m not saying homophobic wasn’t probably a part of it but it wasn’t THE reason.

The reason was even though reviews and ratings are high the majority of people who watch it PIRATE IT.

The amount of watchers and more importantly MONEY BROUGHT IN is what makes a lot of shows last.

I saw my first piece of official TOH merch YESTERDAY because the company doesn’t think people will pay money for merch if they wont pay to watch the show.

And it’s a Disney show yeah but it isn’t exactly a kid friendly show remember it’s on DISNEY XD. Not Disney Plus not Netflix. It’s on a kids channel.

“Oh but gravity falls was too”. Gravity Falls made money and Gravity Falls wasn’t as dark as TOH.

It’s about money at the end of the day. If they were actually canceling it bc of gay characters they wouldnt let Luz and Amity be a couple. They’d cut that entirely or end it before their relationship became a common plot point.

Also “Disney” is a monolith you can’t just say “oh Disney did this Disney did that” because there are so many moving parts under the Disney company umbrella you sound quite frankly a little ridiculous especially with the whole “the mouse” shit like you’re beefing with a fictional rat.

I’m not saying what Disney animation did to TOH is okay. They got fucked over. But you need to understand WHY things happen so it doesn’t happen to shows moving forward.
