Gai enjoys sunny weather because it’s perfect for working out and allows a person to do pretty much anything they want.
Kakashi enjoys the rain because it’s calming but also so very romantic. He can kiss gai in the rain, dance in the rain, or even just talk in the rain and it infinitely more romantic than doing any of those things on a sunny day.

I really don't understand the fans who say that Kakashi didn't believe in Naruto at first and didn't give him guidance or attention as he did to Sasuke or when they say that he didn’t do much to the trio before shippuden

Kishi skipped all of the training for the ‘more fun things’ but it’s very clear from the start Kakashi does not just focus on sasuke
The ONLY time he focus’ on sasuke first is the chunin exams, and that was out if neccessity since Sasuke was about to fight someone who had just tried to kill Lee. And even then, when he was watching Ebisu and Naruto head off to do training, he expressed that he felt bad for ‘ditching him’
He didn’t WANT to have to put Sasuke first, but Sasuke’s life was very much in danger in his next fight.
I don’t get people. Why do they want Kakashi to be the worst sensei ever to his students. Dude was trying his best and was given the shittiest situation that provided him almost no chance to focus on any of his students particular skills (when he did have a chance they learned cool new things. Sakura learned the Qi technique very young, Sasuke got chidori, and in shippuden he taught naruto how to use his shadow clones to his advantage and helped him create a brand new jutsu)

Did not see someone suggest Hiruzen gave ‘gentle monitoring’ to Kakashi, or that Hiruzen cared about Kakashi at all
Hiruzen kept Kakashi in anbu after Minato expressed his desire to remove him from it because he realized he’d made a mistake
His only use for Kakashi extended to how useful Kakashi was as a human weapon for him.
He literally gave him a team that was ‘like his old one’ knowing exactly what happened to the old team and how much that was probably gonna f*** Kakashi up.
Hiruzen’s good at acting like he cared, but he was never gentle or kind toward Kakashi. To suggest he was is incredibly ridiculous. Kakashi’s friends had to BEG him to remove him from anbu.
There is nothing kind about keeping a traumatized man in an organization that is very clearly destroying him

I feel like the only time growing up that Kakashi’s not upset about losing a fight is when Gai beats him for the first time.
And it’s weird for him.
Usually he’d scold himself and start planning how to improve so he doesn’t lose again
But against Gai, watching his friend cheer so happily for his first ever win against his eternal rival, Kakashi can’t help but feel proud
Not of himself, but of Gai.
He knows how much Gai has worked for this win, and how much it means to him.
He can’t be angry that he lost when Gai’s smiling so bright that all of Konoha is lighting up with his joy.

Gai’s Kanto Adventures pt. 6
After acquiring electrabuzz in the power plants and meeting a giant electric bird that Kakashi offered treats to without a hint of fear, Gai insisted on heading back to Vermillion city
The reason? He’d heard that there were polywag’s in the area and now that he had the ability to surf on water he was determined to get one.
The adventure took all of five minutes and finally, after searching out every single fighting type pokemon in the region Gai has completed his team.
This is the team of Champions and no he will not be taking criticism.
With his team finally complete, Gai, Kakashi, and Rin decided to check out the silph co building where they spoted root operatives hanging around. It only took stepping into the building to realize there was a problem.
The problem didn’t take too long to fix, though. Splitting up the three of them defeated every root operative that got in their and ultimately located Danzo’s second in Command who put up a good fight, but ultimately ended up dropping the key to the office their boss was in (trying to manipulate the silph co boss into doing what he wanted)
On their way to face Danzo the three were stopped by Danzo’s second in command. Pushing the other two to move on ahead, Kakashi stayed back to take care of the second in command on his own.
Down one, Gai and Rin headed to the top of the building and promptly interrupted danzo’s very important manipulation meeting.
There was some big words about ‘teaching these kids respect’ from Dabzo, but they held little weight after Gai crushed his entire Pokemon team. They held even less weight when Danzo tried to attack Gai only to get kicked in the stomach by his Hitmonlee.
With Silph co saved from Root, the three decided to make use of their presence in Saffron and battle they gym leader.
This was arguably the toughest gym for Gai because the gym leader was quick witted and very determined to put every single one of his pokemon to sleep, but with the power of youth Gai achieved victory snd gained his fifth gym badge!
Kakashi, Gai and Rin then discussed their next course of action. The three of them had skipped a gym in their adventures and knew they needed to go back at some point, but they didn’t know if they wanted to go back quite yet.
After some debate, the three decided to head to cinnabar island instead to see what kind of Pokemon were in the area, but more importantly to face the gym leader, Fugaku. The fire type specialist.

Sometimes I think Hiruzen got some kind of weird divine message at the moment of Kakashi's birth. Something like:
Hiruzen, smoking in his office: eh, my life is hard
A voice in his head, sounding suspiciously like Danzo: hey, this is the birth of the one to whom you (and the next few generations) will pass on all the problem children
Hiruzen, interested: and when can I start doing that?
Voice: in six years
Hiruzen, unhappy: eh, that's a long time to wait, but it'll do
Hiruzen, handing Kakashi to Minato at the age of five: I'm giving you a year to make him a good babysitter
Minato, shocked: excuse me?
Hiruzen, disgruntled: damn it, Minato needs a team of students to make him a good hokage, but he's also needed on the battlefield, what to do
Hiruzen, looking at Kakashi: boy, you're 6 years old now, it's time to become a chunin, the clock is ticking, someone needs to watch the kids while Minato is on the battlefield
Hiruzen: hmm, time to end the war and pass the hat to Minato, he needs to spend more time on the battlefield, but then he'll be distracted by his team.... But those kids aren't little kids either, they should be on their own by now. That's right!
Hiruzen, looking at Kakashi: Boy, how old are you now? 10? It's time to become a jonin and take charge of the team, I'm tired of pretending you don't, you'll be in charge instead of Minato
Hiruzen, looking at Itachi, Tenzo, and Shisui(about the last one, that's my personal headcanon, sorry, I'm weak for him): I have genius and powerful kids in the anbu, I need to choose which team to send them to
Hiruzen, looking at the team where Kakashi is: right here, after all, who can handle genius kids better than a genius teenager
Hiruzen, after the massacre of the Uchiha clan: well that's too bad, we need to somehow eliminate Kakashi from the anbu so he'll have Sasuke and Naruto on his team 5 years from now
Hiruzen, 2 years later, when Asuma, Gai, and Kurenai came to him: well finally, I've been waiting for you guys
Hiruzen, three years later: Kakashi, here's your team, these are the two most troubled kids in the village and the girl not from the clan
Kakashi: Fucking hell
(I have a headcanon that Team 7 sometimes left their kids with Kakashi)
Sakura: we're going on vacation for the weekend
Kakashi: yeah, okay, have a great trip
Sasuke: you stay with the kids
Kakashi: firstly, I'm a hokage, not a babysitter, and secondly, what kids?
Sakura: firstly, I'm the head of the hospital
Sasuke: secondly, Naruto and Hinata are coming too
Kakashi: you're all crazy
Lol, Kakashi will babysit Boruto and Sarada's kids and no one will be surprised, everyone's used to it.
