I love how I got to see this just to see how complex storyboards and episodes have to be so it gives me ideas on what I would have to do in the process for what I have to do in the future

The Ink Demonth 2023 - Day 5. Benevolent

Day 5. Benevolent Crossover: Animaniacs I always consider The Warner Siblings were really much better creatures than most people, even if they were a bit crazy and could destroy everything... I think they would like Bendy and make him feel comfortable in his own skin. That's why I chose them as the definition of "benevolent".

I have to admit that I had a hard time drawing them, especially Dot. I had to draw again her entire face. But the end result is nice. While drawing, I was, of course, modeled on an old cartoon... I haven't seen a new one. Anyone seen it and can tell me if it's worth it? By the way, listening to the songs from this old show while colouring this - I realized how educational the show was - I didn't notice it as a kid, now as an adult I notice... It's amazing how cleverly they can put educational content into a animation that kids loved.

P.S. My favourite has always been Wakko. Who's your?

So these two images may or may not have inspired me to cook up an AU in my head where Barbieland and Toons exist simultaneously and while adjusting to her new life as a human Barbie learns about the existence of toons and how often they go underpaid, have their creative efforts brushed off as “for kids”, aren’t respected, and have their shows & projects abruptly cancelled leaving them jobless. She only just learned about the patriarchy and adding this to her list of existential concerns makes her decide to go feral. In an act of protest Barbie takes a pink, sparkly axe to the WB Water Tower only to discover oh shit they put toon children in here. Of course she adopts them.
