[start ID: two similar images are attached. all two images show a rectangular flag with 7 straight horizontal stripes. from top to bottom, the stripe colours are black, pinkish red, pink, white, light blue, blue, and black. the first image has a snowflake made up of blue diamond-shaped crystals over the flag. the second image has the plain flag. end ID.]
✦ ── SAPPHEIR ( pronounced saff - air ): is a term for afro-american individuals who are AFAB, but do not identify as women outside of the context of being a black woman in america, largely due to how society perceives them.
✧ ── those who identify as sappheir do so specifically in reclamation of the “sapphire,” or “angry black woman” trope, which originated in america. sappheirs take pride in being ( perceived as ) black women, and embrace whatever biases that are held against them.
✧ ── this term is exclusive to afro-american ( as in, soulaan ) afab individuals who are under the transgender / nonbinary umbrella.

✦ ── a flag for lesbians ( WLW, NBLW ) who are studs. this flag is, by definition, exclusive to black lesbians who identify with masculinity ( most notably through gender expression or gender identity ).
✧ ── stud: a black masculine-identifying lesbian. not all black masculine-identifying lesbians consider themselves studs, but all studs are most certainly black. stud is racially-specific because it was created by black lesbians to differentiate their experiences from their non-black counterparts, and to express gender roles developed within the black community.
other stud / black transmasc / black butch lesbian flags i found… here. here. and here.

✦ ── a term connected to being genderater and a demon / demonic. in other words, being black and feeling demonic; due to being demon kin, a demonic introject, simply feeling such connection to demons that it affects your gender identity, et cetera.
✧ ── while each stripe does not have a particular meaning, these colors were specifically chosen in order to bring people’s attention to how darker colors are typically associated with evilness. i aimed to call it into question, and ( hopefully ) reject that standard. moreover, this flag is an active reclamation of how black people are often demonized, and vilified; by society, in media, or otherwise.

✦ ── a flag for black queer individuals who identify as butch. ( most notably, butch mlm, butch wlw, *transmascs, masc-leaning enbies, etc. this list is not exhaustive ).
✧ ── butch: is a descriptor for anyone whose gender presentation and expression, appearance or behavior aligns with, or closely resemble traditional masculinity in an inherently queer way. being butch is not dependent on identifying as any particular gender or sexuality. it’s simply about how you like to be perceived.
*all transmascs aren’t inherently butch. transmascs can, and do also choose to present femininely ( fem ) — much like how cis men can, and do.

✦ ── a flag for lesbians ( WLW, NBLW ) who are stems ( stud-fems ), or “soft butch.” this flag is, by definition, exclusive to black lesbians whose gender presentation or identity falls somewhere between stud and femme.
✧ ── studs are stereotypically masculine lesbians, whereas femmes are stereotypically feminine. stems are typically somewhere in-between, but being a stem is a wholly self-determined trait, for those who feel they don’t simply fall into one “category” or presentation, or the other.

✦ ── a term connected to being genderater and an angel / angelic. in other words, being black and feeling angelic; due to being angel kin, an angelic introject, simply feeling such connection to angels that it affects your gender identity, et cetera.
✧ ── while each stripe does not have a particular meaning, these colors were specifically chosen in order to bring people’s attention to how lighter colors are typically associated with goodness. i aimed to call it into question, and ( hopefully ) reject that standard. sorry, but transandrophobia is a real issue ???? a ton of people in the queer people actively hate trans men and any transmasc person, and it is absolutely a problem . lol
no. transphobia is a real issue.
you can’t get away with crying misandry just because you pinkwashed it.
do you know why the term transmisogyny exists? it’s because trans people and women both suffer at the hands of systemic oppression (transphobia and misogyny, respectively). not because the girls wanted a fun word for their own personal flavor of bigotry. it’s pretty self-explanatory. “transandrophobia” implies that being a man or masc puts you at a disadvantage in society in any way. (news flash: it doesn’t).
y’all motherfuckers think oppression is just “being hated.” it doesn’t matter how much people hate you if you’re the one with the power. and yes, being a man (or masc) gives you power, even if you’re trans.
if queer people hate trans men for anything, it’s for having stupid ass pigheaded opinions like yours. get over yourself. go outside, read a book, and put your damn phone down.
have a blessed day. - sylvie
