Another akuma redesign- Timebreaker this time! Leaning more into bug (idk why bug but her original design gave me bug vibes) and clockwork. Their green bits are foggy glass or some sort of similar material. Theyve got a metal skeleton in there, full of clockwork machine instead of the human she was before. Her heart is replaced with her pocket watch.

Akuma thoughts:

I think itd be so much more metal if the watch was akumatized and our heros had to break the glass to get it out. Separating akumas from humans- they arent really, not when their akumatized, though it changes per akuma.

Like some are more human than others, some loose all humanity alltogether (Horrificator is a peak example- shes full beast) and some dont (Chameleon, Collector- Both human with added powers). It kinda shows a disconnect from a person and their anger and actions. Though thats not true for every akuma.

Anyway- ive got Gamer coming out next Tues- I dunno if im happy with him but i prefer it to canon lol.

Luka Couffaine/Alix Kubdel

Listen, I am aware that we have never seen interactions between them, but I really think that they are a very good match for each other. Alix is a bisexual independent Queen that can kick some asses but also worries for her people. And yes, Luka can right now kick asses, but let's be honest, he is a cinnamon roll who sees too much good in people. So instead of kicking asses, he would understand that person and just forgive them (for example his freaking DAD!!!). But Alix is not like that, she is not a monster by any means, but she has her priorities clear and she wouldn't let anyone hurt her boy. And Luka would be the best in understanding Alix and her independence and her love for her friends (she puts all her heart and soul into her relationships). Furthermore, I think that their personalities can be an opposites attract situation but at the same time they probably have life plans that can match easily enough (Yes, full artists and musicians that move all around the world and love every second of it). Alix is a very honest girl, a quality that Luka loves. In addition, both Alix and Luka had left everything behind without hesitation to help save people from Paris, so they take their responsibilities very seriously when it's necessary, and they could bond over that trauma. Also, a bit shallow but I think that they would look so good together!!! LUKA AND ALIX DESERVE EACH OTHER <3

Luka Couffaine/Zoe Lee

Listen, I know that Zoe is recognized as a lesbian Queen, but this lady is giving me bisexual Icon vibes, so I'm rolling with it. I honestly think that Luka and Zoe can bond over the heartbreak for Marinette, and how she chooses Adrien over them. Also, Zoe has grown so much and learned to state her ground in front of people (for example, Chole), which is a quality that Luka it’s in desperate need of learning too. She is kind, gentle, and ground-headed, but fun and I think that her personality would match well with our boy with a heart of gold. Sometimes they could be too similar in personality, but I honestly think that would work to their advantage!!!

Some LGBT+ Miraculous Headcanons

Marc is trans (female to male) and uses he/they pronouns. (What? No, I’m not projecting onto Marc. Why do you say that?)

Marinette is bi, and Adrien is pan. They sometimes hang out at the mall people-watching and pointing out people they think are cute.

Chloe is a closeted bi with a preference for women, and she used to have a crush on Ladybug until Miracle Queen.

Literally everyone in Marinette’s class has had a crush on her at one point or another. For some of the girls, she was their lesbian/bi awakening.

Alya also strikes me as bi, for some reason, and Nino is demiromantic.

Alix is nonbinary aro/ace and uses any pronouns. “No love, only skate and garlic bread,” to quote my nonbinary aro/ace friend (who named themselves Ace, because they think they’re funny).

Luka is bi as HECK and I do NOT take criticism about this.

If anyone wants to ask me about why I headcanon specific characters as specific things, just shoot me an ask! :)

My thoughts on the Evolution episode. 🐞🐈‍⬛🐰

I had completely forgotten about this episode so i just watched it last night. If you haven't seen it then continue no further for this post will have spoilers.

First of all, i'm grateful this was not an "akuma of the day" episode. Personally i have been kinda tired of that for a while, so i'm hoping we'll be getting more episodes like this one this season.

When i first saw Gabriel's new villain look i was like "What is this?", but now i don't think it looks that bad. It's still a bit weird, but good weird i guess. In the intro we now see Gabs holding all those rings with the miraculous symbols. Does this mean that Gabriel will like re-shape the jewels? With some miraculous i'd like that because for example, the horse miraculous looks too modern. Master Fu is over a hundred years olds if i remember correctly, so, imagine glasses like that back then. Feels out of place. But with other miraculous i like their design. Let's see what happens with that.

Nathalie's finally had it and i'm happy for her, but... What now? Is she gonna quit her job as Gabriel's assistant? I read that in this seasons some villains were gonna become good and i think also that some good people were gonna go bad. Is Nathalie going to try and help Chat Noir and Ladybug? How could that possibly happen? She would need to steal a miraculous to disguise her identity, otherwise it's gonna be very forced Nathalie showing up to help them and Adrien not seeing his father is Mothie.

I really think they should had given a different power to the rabbit miraculous. Time traveling is a power that can be very difficult, very tricky to keep it making sense. You need to write very strict rules and stick to them otherwise the whole plot feels pointless. Like... you have the power to solve everything in two seconds but don't use it just because you don't want it to end too fast. From the writers point of view that makes sense, but it doesn't make sense inside the story. They talk about how dangerous time traveling is, but we saw no consequence at all from all the jumping they did on this episode. That would had been interesting and would had strengthen their point of why they don't use the rabbit miraculous more. I don't remember if i've talked about this before in another post, but back in the season 2 finale, Heroes' day, Master Fu could had lent the rabbit miraculous to either of them to go back in time. Not to act, just to observe. Follow Hawkmoth from a distance. He had been defeated, it was Nathalie who gave him the opportunity to escape. So they could had followed him and see his identity when he de-transformed. Then go back to the present and make a plan based on that information. That way there was no risk of messing with the time lines.

Another thing that doesn't make sense with the rabbit miraculous is how they could simply go back and use one of the miraculous from the past, from Master Fu. Getting a miraculous from the past saved the day, but if it can work like that, why not simply go back to different moments in time, grab many different miraculous, maybe even bring back some of the previous Ladybugs and Chat Noirs and end this fight with Mothie once and for all. He had all those miraculous, doesn't that qualify as an emergency? Desperate measures for desperate times, no? Why wait for things to get worse? Obviously the writers can't let this happen because the story could end sooner, way sooner. I go back to my previous point, write rules and stick to them. Find a different way to solve the problem. I really think they love to overuse the "it's a kids show" card.

I'm really looking forward to seeing more of Chat Noir and Ladybug being more an equal team. I hope this season Marinetta will learn Luka knows their identities. 😁 And please, oh please, enough with their respective flaws. Chat Noir begging for a kiss, Marinette's obsession with Adrien, Chloé's hate campaign. I deeply disliked all that in season 4 and i hope we'll be moving pass that this season.
