*if you're not a good cook, pretend
This idea would not leave my mind for a long ass time guys.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
You wait in the hallway waiting till he finishes talking to his job counselor.
Since you were a kid and it- you've never been good at waiting for too long.
Part of you wants to text him and ask if he's almost done but you can’t do that and ruin his chance to keep Abby.
You bite the skin on the side of your thumb, foot bouncing as the clock ticking a few feet away goes in one ear and out the other. You drop your hand at the slight painful sensation that comes from where you were biting.
You glance down and see the small spot of red, rubbing the area to get rid of it. You close your eyes, bending forward with your head down and your hands on your knees to keep you upright.
The door opens.
Your head snaps over in his direction.
He looks even more worn out than before.
He briefly holds eye contact with you and gestures for the two of you to go.
You stand up before he passes you, you glance over his shoulder and find the counselor, standing there with a cup of coffee.
His stare sends a shiver down your spine.
You lower your head, spin around and follow Michael, who was waiting by the door for you.
-
You don’t want to upset him by asking but if you don’t, who knows when he'll tell you what happened.
Another red light and you’re still debating on asking.
"Was it helpful?"
"No."
"There's nothing out there?"
"No," he sighs. "There was- he had a job, but the hours aren't good. It's a night job."
"Oh."
He sighs, "yeah."
"Maybe I can see if we have an opening?" You offer.
He shakes his head. "No. It's- it's fine. I’ll figure out something."
"Mike-"
"I don't want to start this again."
"I just want to help you. I know how much it means for you to have this job."
"I'll figure it out."
You reach over and squeeze his hand, offering a small smile. "I know you’ll figure it out. I just want you to know that you don’t have to do it alone. It's not all on you." You open the car door. "Thanks for the ride again."
He watches as you walk into your work, always making sure you're exactly where you should be.
-
You walk through the door with dinner. "Hey." You greet Max, giving her a small portion of what Michael owes her.
She shakes her head, denying the money.
"You've been helping him out for so long now, please take it. He doesn't need to keep worrying about this," you whispered to her.
She glances down at the thin wad of cash in your hands; she closes her eyes, thinking about the Schmidt’s aunt and their deal. “Thank you,” Max whispers.
She’s going to pay you back and then some.
“I brought dinner.”
“We were just about to eat,” he tells you, standing in the kitchen.
“Not anything edible,” Abby mutters.
Her brother sighs.
You smile at her while setting the bags on the counter. “Scoot, I got it.”
“I’m gonna have to learn how to cook at some point.”
“Not tonight, I’m excited. Scoot.” You push him out of your way, amusing the young girl at the table.
She continues working on her recent drawing, one with you in it, of course.
-
“I think I’m going to take it.”
You turn away from the TV to look at him. “Take what?”
"The job."
"The night one? I thought didn't want that one?" He shrugs, glancing at the wall. "It's better than nothing. I'll still be able to fight my aunt with this job."
"I understand why you're doing this but are you sure you can handle it?"
He glances at you with furrowed brows. "What do you mean?"
You tilt your head, staring at him with sad eyes.
"I worry about you enough with your shitty sleep schedule now. This is just going to send me into old age."
"Who says you aren't already?"
You scoff, shoving his shoulder. "Don't be a dick." You cover your mouth, hiding your yawn. "I'm gonna clean the dishes and then crash on your couch."
He pushes himself off the couch, following you. "I can do that. You should start getting ready for bed."
You take the other dishes from him. "Mike, stop. Go to bed. I've got this and you," you boop his nose causing him to scrunch his face in confusion. "Need to go to bed. Start preparing for work. This is the least I can do for the number of times you've let me stay here… and the car rides."
"You know I don't mind doing it."
You sigh, placing your hands on his shoulders. "I know but this is the only way I can show how much I appreciate it." You wrap your arms around him, hugging him tightly. "Stop stalling and go to bed."
"Yes, ma'am."
You shake your head. "I'll see you in the morning. Why don't you sleep in, and I'll take Abbs?"
"I don't know."
"We got this. If you're not up. I'm taking her."
"Okay."
-
He's out cold when you open the door to check on him.
You shake your head, walking down the short hallway. "He's out. Looks like I'll be taking you, sweet pea."
"Are you and my brother dating?"
"Has my answer changed since the last time you asked me?" You ask, setting her plate in front of her.
She shakes her head, "no."
"And what do you think now?"
"Yes?"
"Abby-"
She groans. "Come on, you two are like perfect for each other. He really likes you; you know."
"I would like to think so, otherwise our friendship is a lie."
"No," she shakes her head. "He really likes you."
"Where'd you hear that?" "
I asked him."
"You did?" You raise a brow.
"No, but I know these things."
"You've never had a boyfriend; how would you know?"
"My friends."
-
You went to work and came back just in time for the brother and sister duo to walk through the door, keeping you on the phone.
"What happened?"
They both shrug, neither wanting to give you an answer.
"Max isn't answering," he says through the phone.
"Did you try her again?"
"I've been trying all day."
You sigh. "Look, I'm sorry. I'm just- I'm a little stressed right now."
"Do you want me to watch her?"
"No, it's fine."
"Mike, I can watch her. It's no problem."
“No, no. I- what if you come with us? You can watch her there.”
“Wouldn’t it be smarter if I watched her at your place?”
“I- I don’t want you two to be alone.”
You sigh, “Mike, nothing will happen. You know I’ll do whatever I can for her.”
“I know but maybe it’ll be better if you two get out of the house in- instead of being all cooped up, right?”
You know you’re not going to win with him. “Yeah, sure. I’ll be there in a few.”
He shakes his head, although you can’t see it. “No, we can come get you. Your house is on the way.”
It is, in fact, not on the way there but he doesn’t want you walking in the cold. “Okay, call me when you’re about to leave.”
“We’ll be there soon.”
“Okay. Bye, Mikey.” You groan as soon as the call ends. “Mikey. Seriously?"
Abby notices her brothers’ flushed cheeks. "Did you finally ask her out?"
He turns to her with furrowed brows. "Wh- what? No. Why would you ask that?"
She shrugs and searches through the drawers, needing something for her drawings.
He walks down the hallway and enters his room, searching for his work clothes.
-
You walk through the door (even after he told you not to walk to their house) and see the previously jammed drawer fall onto the floor.
You slam the door shut and rush to her. "Oh my god." You grab her by her shoulders, checking her over. "Are you okay?"
She nods before trying to clean up.
You help her until your eyes stop on the yellow paper.
Michael rushes out of his room. "What happened? Are you okay?"
"I made a mess," she mumbles. "I'm sorry."
You stare at him with raised brows, waiting for him to explain himself to her (and you).
He's been working too hard to give her up to someone you know doesn't care about her or her well-being.
He tries his best to explain to her that it's not what she thinks.
Abby gets upset and runs to her room.
You clean up the mess and jam the drawer back into its place. "Are you serious, Mike?"
"What?"
"You've worked so hard to keep her in your life and you have the other, terrible option might I add, within reach for her to find!?"
"It's not like that."
"Then tell me because sometimes I don't know what's going on in your head no matter how hard I try to figure it out." You take a deep breath. "Just- tell me you're not really thinking about this?"
"I- I'm not. It's just- my aunt is really pushing this and-"
"If she's giving you guys problems. Tell me, I might be able to figure out something to help, okay?"
"Okay," he rushes out, sounding annoyed.
"I'm sorry for this, Mike. I am but believe me when I say that this is not the way to do things."
"Did you-"
"I'm gonna go check on her. You need to figure things out." You brush past him, shoulder knocking into his chest.
You softly knock on the door. "Abbs?" You turn the handle and walk in. "Are you okay?"
She sits in her chair unable to color.
"Sweetie, you can tell me." You sit on her bed. "You know, when I was a younger, my parents did the same thing, but they didn't get far."
"They did?"
You nod.
"Why?"
"Something happened when I was a kid and I just," you wipe your hands on your knees. "I don't like to talk about it often. How about we go make cupcakes before we go to work with your brother?"
"We're going with him?" She asks as you open the door.
You nod. "Yeah, he doesn't want you to be here alone and since I'm the only one nice enough to talk to him, he doesn't want us to be alone while he's out."
"That makes sense."
"Does it? I think he just likes to be in control just a little too much."
She giggles and grabs your hand, pulling you down the short hallway.
You narrow your eyes at him as he sits at the table, slumped in the chair.
You know your look made him feel worse, but you don't care, putting that someplace where she could find it so, she can up with the worse scenarios is a horrible thing for a child to go through… other than- Abby calls out for you.
You blink once and hum. "Any requests?"
Neither of the Schmidt siblings answers you as they glance at one another, curious as to what just happened.
Dinner was more silent than normal, but it wasn't completely unbearable.
It was kind of, therapeutic. Then it was time to go.
“Alright, grab your stuff. We won’t be there long and we’ll be back soon.”
-
A child’s whisper calling out for Abby alerts you, even more so when two children’s voices call out yours.
You’re scared to open your eyes, reminding you of the one time you asked your parents to check your room for monsters when you heard something coming from your closet. You pull the blanket closer, having it act as a barrier.
You take a deep breath and focus on the light coming from Abby’s fort, thinking back to when- she softly shakes your arm, whispering your name. “Yeah, Abbs?”
“I have to go to the bathroom.”
You nod, tossing the blanket off you, holding your hand out for her to take. “Let’s go.”
-
You walk through the vaguely familiar hallways and stop at the bathroom.
“Do you want me to come in with you?”
She shakes her head, “I’ll be fine.”
You nod and watch as she goes in, keeping an eye on her until the door closes.
You turn and nearly jump out of your skin when you see the stage curtain moving.
Your eyes wander around the stage while you silently think a little hail Mary… and for Abby to hurry.
“All done.”
“Great, let’s go back before your brother realizes you’re gone.”
“But there’s someone else here.” She walks towards the stage and you chase after her.
“Abby, you need to stop running-”
Your jaw drops and you can’t speak anymore once you see the glowing red eyes staring back at you.
They walk down and huddle around the two of you.
You wrap your around her, pulling the girl closer to you not knowing how to protect her or get her out of this situation safely.
“I don’t think they want to hurt us.”
“And how would you know that?”
“They’re my friends.” She pushes your arms off her and greets them, they start tickling her, easing a small portion of your fears and concerns.
Then the fox and chick animatronic start tickling you and you two are giggling your heads off.
This was definitely not what he was expecting when he heard you two screaming from the security office.
All he sees are the large animatronics which trigger his fight or flight mode. He raises the chair higher at the sight of Freddy, who glares at him in return.
“Guys, this is my brother Mike.” Abby smiles, introducing everyone to each other. “Mike, these are my friends.”
His eyes wander around the room, checking over everyone to make sure everything is okay before he starts searching for you.
He slowly calms down at the sight of your head when you turn around. All he sees is the big smile on your guys faces and slowly, places the chair back where he found it.
He doesn’t know what else to do and grabs the two of you before anything else can happen.
The little girl breaks free and places a drawing in the bear's hand.
“They like drawings,” she explains to her brother.
“Bye guys. We’ll be back soon.” She waves and the two who seem to have taken a liking to you, wave more excitedly to you.
-
You wave back before her brother grabs your hand and pulls you two back to the security office to grab all your stuff.
"Abby, get in the car."
She settles into the back but not you, he pulls you back to talk to you.
"What was that?"
After making sure she was all settled in, you turn to him. "What do you mean?"
"You just let her get too close to those- those things. What if she had gotten hurt?"
"Don't do that to me. You're the one that wouldn't let me watch her at home, Mike. You brought us here."
He wants to apologize because he knows he's upset and taking it out on you which isn’t fair.
You get in the car, careful not to slam the door (no matter how hard you want to) because you don’t want to disturb the sleepy girl.
He walks back to the car with his head down, knowing he royally screwed up.
You don't try and talk to him like you normally do and keep your gaze on everything around you.
-
As soon as the car is put in park, you get out and grab all the bags.
He sighs, watching you basically run into the house and checks on Abby.
You get started on making breakfast because you're hungry and know the other two will be as soon as they smell it.
The moment the last plate touched the table, the Schmidt siblings are out of their rooms and sneaking towards the kitchen.
You gesture for them to sit down so they can get started.
The clinking of your utensils hitting the plates is the only noise echoing throughout the kitchen. Abby finishes and runs back to her room to draw more.
You start cleaning up, leaving the man in silence.
"I'm sorry."
You don't acknowledge his apology and continue cleaning up.
"I know what I said was wrong and I shouldn't have taken it out on you, but you know, she could have gotten hurt."
You glance at him over your shoulder and nod. "I know that, and I wouldn't have let anything happen to her. You know that and that's why I'm hurt."
The chair scooting across the floor alerts you.
His presence calms you even with how angry you are. He leans closer, "I know but I was- I was scared I was going to lose-"
"Abby like you did, Garrett, I know," you whisper, letting the tears trickle down your face.
"It's not just that. I mean, yeah it was mainly that, but I was also scared I was going to lose you too."
You wipe your cheeks.
His hand inches towards you.
You spin around and throw yourself into his arms, he takes a step back before balancing himself. "You're an idiot," you mumble.
The vibrations coming from his chest as he chuckles send a shiver down your spine and you pull yourself away from him.
He stays where he is, barely a foot away from you, studying you. He reaches forward, wiping your cheeks. "Better?"
You roll your eyes and return to the dishes.
He wraps an arm around your waist, leaning against you. "I'm gonna go check on Abby before I go to my room."
You nod.
"Do you need a ride to work?"
"No, it's fine. I don't have another shift for a few days."
"Okay, let me know if you do."
"I will."
He hesitates to leave or hesitates to peck your cheek.
You stand still, not entirely sure what just happened. 'Did he just-' you think to yourself. Now you're starting to question some things but don't dwell on it.
-
You sit down, relaxing on the couch, waiting for your tiredness to hit.
Your head droops every so often, waking you up each time it happens; eventually you change positions and try to go to sleep.
You open your eyes and find yourself… back there. You look around, searching for someone, anyone to help you.
Children giggling, the video games near you buzzing and beeping; you spin around when a breeze passes you. “Hey.”
The kid in orange stops looking over his shoulder.
Flashes of him and the fox animatronic flash through your mind.
You whine, falling to the ground as you hold your head.
“Are you okay?” A child’s voice manages to come through all the noise.
Your hands slide down your face as you lift your head to search where the voice is coming from. Your eyes widen, you know her. “Who-”
“Why are you sad?”
“I- I don’t know.”
“Did you not have fun?” You blink once, processing her question.
“What?”
She pouts. “Did you not have fun earlier?”
You push yourself off the ground. “What do you mean? I- I’ve never- I-” She starts walking away.
“I have to go now. The yellow rabbit’s back.”
You follow her, fighting to get through the crowd.
You reach for her, just a few inches shy of grabbing her. You push yourself back, ready to apologize for the person you bumped into.
They turn around, smiling.
“There you are, I thought you were going to the restroom?”
Your jaw drops. “Mom?”
“Come on,” she grabs your wrist. “We’re about to miss them cutting the cake.”
“Wha-”
“You and Susie were so excited for Fritz’s party. I’m surprised you forgot about the cake.”
You furrow your brows, unsure of anything that’s happening. “We missed you.”
You wake up, eyes blurred after not being open for a bit. Abby sits in front of the couch, drawing yet again. “Abbs?”
“Yeah?”
-
“Was last night real?”
She nods.
“Are you sure?”
Even though she confirmed your thoughts, it still doesn’t feel real.
Her brother wakes up to find the two of you quietly drawing and smiles at the sight, seeing you two together always made his heartbeat faster… or maybe it was you?
He tilts his head, furrowing his brows thinking back to when he quickly pecked your cheek. He hopes neither of you look over, otherwise you’ll see his flushed cheeks and he doesn’t want to have to lie about the real reason.
Maybe that’s why he was terrified for both you and Abby last night.
He wonders how long he’s been feeling this way, was it before Garrett?
Is that why he’d always invite you over and not just because you always found ways to include his brother?
Maybe when he's done with his shift and he’s saved up a little bit more he can take you out on a date, a proper one.
He shakes his head; he's getting too ahead of himself.
Why would you ever want to date him? He's not worthy of dating, you.
"Are going to come with us tonight?"
You slowly turn your head in her direction, "what do you mean?"
"Max still isn't answering so I'm going with Mike. Can you come with us? My friends really like you."
"The- they do?"
She nods, "they say you're nice and remind them of someone they used to know."
"Oh." You sit up straighter, looking over her head to catch her brother's eye.
He tilts his head, not knowing what she told you.
You push yourself off the ground and briskly walk towards him, pulling him closer towards the fridge so, the little girl doesn't see you whisper shout at her brother. "What are you doing?"
He doesn't pull his arm out of your grasp.
Is this what it means to be touch starved?
"What do you mean?"
"You're taking her again? What happened to you being pissed because I let her get too close to them?"
A sad sigh escaped through his nose. "Her friends might know who took Garrett."
You owlishly blink, wondering how your friend can be so caring but such a dumbass. You pinch the bridge of your nose. "Seriously?"
"What? You know I always try to think back to see if I can remember anything but I- it's never enough."
Your head snaps up. "Mike, listen to me, please. Don't get upset when I tell you this."
"What?"
"You need to stop. Focusing on the past it’s not good for you or," you gesture to the little girl in the living room. "Her, she is your present, okay. She should be your priority because she is still here," your voice cracks. You're doing all you can to hold back your tears. "You need to let him go."
He takes a step back, staring at you with an angered expression.
You know it wasn't your place to tell him this but no one else is. "I'll go after tonight. Let me spend one more night with her and I'll be out of your guy's hair when we get back, okay?"
"Honestly, I don't know if I should after hearing that."
You sigh, "Mike." You don’t want to beg, it'd be pointless but if you can cause a little less heartbreak, maybe it'd be worth it. "I know right now you probably hate me, but you also know that I wouldn't say anything without a reason."
You walk back into the living room when she shows a drawing of you and two other kids. "Abby?" Your voice wavers, "where did you find this?"
"I drew it. Do you not like it?"
You furrow your brows and stare at the page. "You didn’t take this?"
She scoffs, "no."
"I- I'm sorry, Abbs. I believe you-"
She shakes her head and grabs her belongings before stomping to her room.
"What's wrong with the picture?" Michael asks.
You bury your head in your hands. "Nothing."
"Well, clearly, it's not nothing."
You lift your head, using the sleeves of your crewneck to wipe your cheeks. "Do you remember when I wasn't in school for a while?"
His brows knit together as he tries to think back.
"It was a little bit before Garrett was taken," you whisper. "I- um- I think I used to go to Freddy's after school with a couple of our neighbors, but I don't remember anything after that."
“What are you trying to say?”
“Something happened when I was a kid, and I haven’t been able to get over it. That’s why I’m so freaked out. I remember drawing this but anything else after that is lost on me.”
“I didn’t know.”
“I barely remember and now I’m freaking out.”
He sits beside you pulling you in for a hug.
“I’m sorry,” you whisper.
“Don’t- don't apologize about it.” Now he feels horrible.
Abby listened to your conversation from the crack she left open in the door and knows they gotta do something to make you happy.
-
“Are you sure you want to come with us? I mean, you don’t have to,” he tells you.
You grab your bag and nod, “I got this. It’ll be fine.” You look out the door, seeing the girl in the back of his car. "And, then I'll be out of your hair."
"Don't- don't worry about it. I forgot what you said."
"Mike."
"Let's go. I don't want either of you to be alone."
-
You exited the bathroom and found Vanessa talking to Michael.
You don't know whether to walk over to them or join Abby.
The choice is made for you when the little girl and the animatronics gesture for you to come over.
You glance over at the two, your chest hurts temporarily as you think there might be something going on between the two but realize that you're not here to watch them moon over each other, you're here for Abby.
You wander closer towards them, hopping on the stage with the gang.
They start singing and you hold your hand out for Abby to take, spinning her around and she gets a brilliant idea.
-
The fort was finished and you all crawl underneath. "I think it's going to rain soon."
"Looks like we're gonna need a roof. I know where they keep the blankets when we had parties."
Michael pushes himself off the ground, "I'll come with you." He turns around to whisper to Abby, who assures him that she'll get the info he wants.
He perks over at you, wondering if he should really follow her or not. He has to talk to her and knows you'll look after his sister.
You close your eyes to try and get your mind off wondering if he and Vanessa are going to get together. You can hear their voices, but they slowly become quieter and quieter as time goes on.
-
You wake and find yourself in the ball pit. This is not where you-
"Hello?" You whisper.
It's not the smartest thing to do but you did it anyway.
You crawl out of the pit only to find no one else around.
"Great, they left me and now I'm here alone." You sigh and wander around, hoping to find someone.
Children's laughter passes by you.
You spin around, searching for the kids and find no one. "Just find a way out and you'll be fine."
The tapping on your back alarms you.
You spin around once more to find a child with a hook and red hair. You furrow your brows. "Are you here alone?"
He shakes his head, another child, a blonde little girl comes out of nowhere.
"Are you- are you two-" You cover one eye and make a hook with the other.
They nod.
"Oh, so you're- you're kids."
"We're your friends."
"What?"
-
You open your eyes and find Abby staring down at you.
"They're going to perform for us."
"They are?" She nods excitedly and continues to pull you up, off the ground.
Michael and Vanessa returned but neither of you noticed.
She notices the look he has whenever he’s near you or talks to you. “When are you going to tell her?”
He turns back to the blonde. “What are you talking about?”
“You're in love with her.”
He scoffs, shaking his head. “What are you talking about?”
“You're in love and you haven't told her, why?”
He opens his mouth to reply but falls short.
“What are you scared of?”
“I- nothing.”
She turns to check on you two, her teasing expression falls.
You heard her voice and glanced back at the girl, who's close to touching Bonnie's guitar. You were already holding her other hand and reached out to stop her but are too late.
The two of you fall backwards onto the stage, passing out for a few moments.
Abby is the first to wake, asking what happened.
Vanessa holds her, calming her, glaring at the girl's brother.
You slowly open your eyes, and his face is the first one you see. Your brows knit together, trying to figure out what happened.
“Hey, hey,” he calls out to you, holding your head. “Are you okay?”
You groan, closing your eyes trying to not think of the pain. “No.”
He huffs, lowering his head, thankful that you haven't lost your sense of sarcasm. 'Thank god,' he thinks to himself.
He doesn't know what he would have done if anything had happened to you, either of you. He can't lose anyone else in his life.
The three of you leave earlier that night, much like when you all discovered the animatronics secrets.
-
You sit in the car, staring at the house. “You can’t let her go back there, Mike.”
He looks away from her and checks you out, silently hoping nothing has happened to you physically. “I know. She won’t.”
“Take care of her, okay.” You open the door, and he grabs your arm, keeping you inside the vehicle.
“Don’t.”
You hesitantly settle back into the seat. “I told you all I wanted was one last night.”
“You’re not leaving. I- we can’t lose you. I don’t know what I’d do if we never saw you again.”
“Even after everything I said?”
He pauses before responding, “I’m not focusing on that.”
“That was the reason you were so upset,” you hissed at him, being wary of your volume with the sleeping girl in the back. “I don’t want to step on any more toes, okay?”
“You’re not… as long as you promise not to leave.”
The corners of your lips twitch. “I won’t but I do have to go home and get ready for work.”
He shakes his head, “you don’t need to. I have some of your things. You can get ready here.”
“I am perfectly capable of being on my own.”
“I know you are but I’m more concerned about you especially with everything that happened.”
“I'm fine but if it means so much to you for me to be here then I'll stay but once I'm done with my shift, I'm going home, okay? I need to grab a few things and maybe do some laundry while I'm at it.” You chuckle, wanting to give him a piece of mind.
He nods, “deal.”
You get out of the car, grabbing everyone's bags so he could put Abby to bed, giving you a sense of deja vu.
Once he's got her tucked into bed, he ventures down the hallway, checking in you… again. “Showers free, if you want it.”
You look up from the dining chair, giving him a tired smile in return. “You sure?”
“Yeah, I just got to make a phone call and then I'll head to my room.”
You nod, rubbing your eyes. “Okay.”
His heart tugs at an unusual feeling, one he never thought he'd get the privilege of having.
He doesn't stop watching until the bathroom door closes and now, he hesitates to make the call.
He doesn't want to prove her right but this just- it can't happen again. And it won't, if his aunt takes care of Abby. He can't imagine the face you're going to give him when you see her.
The water turns on and he waits for a bit until he knows it's safe to make the call.
You exit the bathroom, securing the t-shirt on your head.
“Hey,” his eyes are drawn to your head. “Is that my shirt?”
You shrug, “I don't know, maybe.”
“Okay, anyway. Don't get mad.”
Your head jerks back. “Why would I get mad?”
“I called her.”
“Call who?”
“My aunt.”
You’re face turns sour as soon as your mind processed what he said. “You're getting my foot so far up your ass, you won't know which end was what.”
“Hey, hey,” he grabs your arms. “It's for her safety.”
“That doesn’t make this easier.”
“I know it doesn't but it's the smart choice… right?”
You're at a stalemate, no matter what answer you give him, it's not going to give him the peace of mind he's looking for. “Do you think it was a smart idea?” You finally ask.
“It's better for Abby.”
“And what about you?”
“Abby is more important.”
“You both deserve to be happy.” You check on the clock, “it's almost time for me to go so I'm going to finish getting ready and I'll be out of your hair for the day. I won't be able to babysit her tonight.”
He nods, “I kinda figured which is also why I called our aunt.”
“If you two can talk and figure out a good solution that won't make her feel like she's being taken and sent to your guy's aunt, I'm right behind you.”
He nods, “thank you.”
You walk out of the bathroom searching for Michael before grabbing your bag. “Mike?”
He's not in the kitchen so you move over to the living room and then his room.
You peek in the crack of his door, finding him lying in his bed, staring at the ceiling.
You enter, closing the door behind you, not wanting to wake up Abby. “I'm gonna go now.”
He nods lazily.
“Are you gonna be, okay?”
“Yeah,” his voice comes out deep, you know he's on the verge of passing out.
“Okay, I'll see you guys tomorrow.”
“Tomorrow? I thought you were coming back tonight?”
“My shift ends just as you're halfway to Freddy's. I don't want to come in and scare Abby.”
“Okay, call me when you get there?”
“I'll do you one better.” You sit on the edge of his bed, hand near his. “I'll text you on the phone you like to forget you have.”
“I don't forget I have it.”
“You do.”
“Whatever,” he chuckles. “I'll see you later.”
You exit his room, leaving it open a little (in case Abby needs him he told you once).
“Wait.”
You try to ask him if you forgot anything when his warm hand cups your cheek. “Mikey?”
He leans in, your noses are touching. “Tell me if this is a bad idea and I'll back away,” he whispers, staring into your eyes.
“It's not.”
His eyes drift down to yours.
You can't take it anymore and go for it.
His surprised squeak makes you smile. He leans in when you pull away.
“I've really got to go.”
“I know.”
“You need to let me go so I can go to work.”
He opens his eyes and stares at the ground. “Sorry.”
“Don't be. I didn't back away.”
“I- uh-”
“What is it?”
“I like it when you,” he clears his throat. “I like it when you call me Mikey. No one else does.”
The corner of your lips twitch, curving upwards. “Good to know.” You bunch the front of his shirt in your hand and kiss him once more before leaving.
You shake your head, smiling from ear to ear while ignoring the heat from your cheeks.
Work wasn’t anything more than what you expected which was nice, better with what you’d been dealing with the last few days.
-
You collapse into the chair you have in your living room, trying not to fall asleep only to wind up taking a nap.
The sound of knocking alarms you, you jolt awake trying to make sense of your surroundings.
You open the door, only to find the one person you least expected to find here. "Mr. Raglan?"
He lifts his head and smiles. "Hi, you’re Michael's friend, right?"
You nod, "I am. What's this about?"
"Can I come in?"
Your mind tells you not to let him in, you get an unsettling feeling from him. "Actually, I need to get ready for work so, if you could just-"
His hand clamps around the door as you try to close it on him. "Actually," he slams the door shut behind him. "That's not going to happen. You see, I was trying to be nice and let you come with me but then you started thinking again, just like you did when you were a kid. And now, now I'm going to kill you."
Your eyes widen, heart beating about a hundred miles an hour.
"But not yet, of course because we," he grabs your wrist and pulls you closer before you can run away. "Have a show to put on." His eyes are emotionless the more you look into them. "Nighty night."
-
You fight to open your eyes; the loud mechanical stomping hurts your ears; you whine covering them.
You're pulled away and fight the hands holding you.
She shushes you, “shut up. Shut up.” Vanessa rips your hands away from your ears, holding your head to make you focus on her. “You need to get Abby and Mike and get them out of here. Do you understand?”
“I can’t- I can’t-” You start hyperventilating.
She shakes your shoulders, trying to get you out of it. “You need to get them out of here.”
You nod. “Where are they?” You sniff, wiping your cheeks.
“Mike went to grab Abby; they should be getting back here now.”
She pulls you up, the two of you stay close to the walls as you search for them.
Abby runs out, you grab her before she could expose herself to the animatronics.
You glance back, looking for the blonde and find no one around. “Where’s your brother?”
“Back there. He fought the cupcake.”
The loud stomping sends a shiver down your spine.
“Abbs, we need to hide.”
“Where?”
You turn your head, looking around. “Ball pit.” You grab her and carry her. “Stay here.”
Her fingernails dig into your hand. “Where are you going?”
“Stay here. I’m- I’m going to be right here. If they catch me, you run.”
She shakes her head, “I can’t.”
“Abby,” you hold her head in your hands. “I need you to be strong for me.”
She stares at you with teary eyes. “Okay.”
“Good girl,” you peck her head and hide.
Foxy's footsteps alarm you.
You frantically search for something to throw that can distract him. You slowly sink down, praying your knees don't crack as you do.
You grab the lonely ball pit ball left on the ground and grip it as tightly as you can before standing up, hoping to be able to throw the ball a few feet away, just enough to get Abby out of here.
You throw the ball, knocking into a few games, setting them off.
The fox wanders in that direction and you grab the girl and start running, pushing her in front of you.
“Ru-” You glance back and find the blonde. “Vanessa.”
“Come on.” Abby legs go of you and run towards her brother.
You stop less than two feet away from him, staring at the yellow rabbit. You whimper, remembering what happened.
“What's the matter? You remember what happened,” he chuckles.
“You- you took them.”
“So, what if I did?”
“You took little kids, and you murdered them and you tried to do the same thing to me!”
Vanessa's body falls to the ground.
“Let's not get upset now.”
He chuckles, “I wouldn't want any of us to do something we'll regret.” He smiles at your humorless expression. “It's funny because I don't regret any of it. I do wish that I finished with you. It would have been the perfect ending, don't you think?”
You duck, rolling onto the floor before he could stab you but then he gets a hold of your ankle and pulls you back, closer towards him.
His emotionless eyes lit up somehow and his grip shifted from your ankle to your neck. He drags you over towards one of the machines, prepared to stab you, making an almost complete set (if only he'd have gotten Michael when he had the chance).
You wiggle in his grasp, trying to kick and shove him off you. “Stop squirming, that's why we've had this prolonged… meeting.”
Abby’s picture replaces the previous one.
His eyes widen, grip loosening giving you an opportunity to escape. “What have you done?”
You watch as the animatronics pull away the dying man before running over towards the two Schmidt siblings, helping the other one carry Vanessa out of the building.
You look around the car for anything to keep on the wound while you apply pressure. “Is there anything,” you ask through the screen.
The two shake their heads, “no.”
You sigh and use all your might to rip the bottom of your shirt. You let out a breath once you get some fabric and quickly start applying pressure, using the fabric as dressing. “What are we going to tell people?”
“Mugging gone wrong.”
“Seriously?” You glance through the screen and catch his gaze in the rearview mirror.
“Who would believe us if we told the truth?”
“Okay, well I’m sorry for asking.”
“Can you guys not fight right now?”
You avoid his gaze. “We’re not fighting, we’re strongly disagreeing with each other.”
“Isn’t that the same thing?”
“No.”
-
“We’re here.”
“Okay, I’m going to need help getting her out.”
He nods, you notice the way he inches out of the car and know this is too much for him.
You mouth to Abby to open the door, you pull the unconscious woman out by her feet, before grabbing her arm.
A nurse behind you tells you to move.
You look around and find Abby hugging Mike’s side as they stand a few feet away from the ER entrance. “Okay. Uh,” you point to the siblings. “My fiancé has bad injuries, no stab wounds but he scratched really bad, it’s deep and I’m afraid he might need stitches,” you explain, trying not to break down right then and there.
The nurse nods, “got it. Bring him in and fill out some paperwork and we’ll check on him.”
“Okay.” You watch as they take her away, hoping you guys got her to the hospital in time. “Let’s get you inside,” you tell him.
“I’m fine.”
You raise your brows, blinking at him in disbelief. “We both know you are not, you have sustainable injuries to, who knows what extent, you are going in here and getting checked out even if I have to force you.”
He nods, “maybe getting the dressing changed won’t hurt.”
“That’s what I thought.” You wrap an arm around his waist, in case he doesn’t have enough energy to continue.
Once you get him situated, fill out the paperwork and he’s taken back; you and the little girl are left alone.
You kneel in front of her, “are you okay?”
She nods. “Abbs, I need you to tell me if you have any injuries.”
She shakes her head, trying to stay strong.
You hold your hand out for her to take and switch seats, somewhere more comfortable for the two of you. “Lay down.”
She does as you told her and rests her head on your thigh.
You place your hand on her arm, thumb brushing back and forth in a comforting manner.
“Are you and Mike together yet?”
You chuckle, glancing down at her. “Depends on if your brother will ask me out.”
“If he doesn’t, you should. He takes forever.”
“Well, aren’t you kind.” You sigh, the pain from tonight’s adventure hits you. “Close your eyes and try to sleep when the doctor tells us we can see him, I’ll wake you up.”
“You promise?”
“You’re not getting out of my sight for a while, sweetie.”
She smiles and closes her eyes.
You rest your head on your hand, watching the terrible soap opera playing on the tv in the upper corner of the room.
He walks out, searching for you two and his heart beats faster. He shakes his head seeing that you were ready to shift Abby to check on him. “I’m not staying here.”
You sigh his name.
“I know, I know.”
“Do you want to go now?”
He nods.
“I don’t think we can take the cop car now.”
He chuckles and winces.
You offer a weak smile as an apology. “Sorry?”
“I can carry her.”
“No. I got it. You’re the wounded hero here.”
“What about your aunt?”
“What do you mean?”
“You really think that she let Abby leave on her own? What if- what if she’s…”
He catches on to what you’re implying. “Maybe we should stay at yours.”
“Are you sure?”
“Yeah, it’s closer and I know you have some things for us to use.”
“Okay.” You lift the little girl into your arms. “Let’s go.”
-
You make it back to your place and Abby rubs her eyes. "Where are we?"
"We're at my place."
"Abby, you should take a shower before going to bed," her brother says.
"Okay."
"She didn’t argue with me."
"She almost lost you." You pat his should and move around your place, cleaning up a little more.
He watches for a second before placing a hand on your shoulder. "Hey." He tells you to stop and sit down.
"I- I can't. I need to- I need-"
He gets you to sit down on the couch before you could collapse where you stood. He sits down beside you and holds your hand, which are resting on your knees. "What happened back there?"
"He killed my friends."
"You knew them?"
You nod, wiping your cheeks to get them dry but fail as more tears fall. "After they closed Freddy's, my parent's let me stay with a few other kids after school to do homework or do kid things, you know." "Yeah."
"But then, one day we were all at the park and we were playing hide and seek. I heard something and I knew it wasn't safe, my mind was telling me to get out there and I did but the next day one of the kids we were with was taken instead. They never found him."
"Do you think it was one of them?"
You shrug, "I don't know."
"Did anything else happen?"
You shake your head, letting the tears freely trickle down your face. "Hang on." You reach over to the coffee table and grab the non-labeled book, handing it to him. "My therapist said I should write down anything and I wrote what happened. I didn't want to forget it… not that I could."
He lifts your journal, "you want me to read it?"
You nod.
"Are you sure? I mean, I feel like I'm going to be invading your privacy."
"I," you take a deep breath. "Honestly, I don't know if I should be sharing this with you but if there's anyone that I want to know about what happened, it's you."
"And you're sure you're okay with this?"
"As okay as anyone can be."
He doesn't know how to respond to that.
You tell him to get his sister and clean up for dinner.
The two turn the corner and are amazed.
"It's so much spaghetti," she squeals.
"I figured we could have a happy meal tonight. This morning. What time is it?"
They shrug and sit down, ready to dig in as their stomachs growl.
The corners of your lips twitch.
"Careful now," you grab the girl's hands, pulling them back before she could slide her arm back and have the knife fall in her lap. "How about I get your plate ready?"
"Hurry up."
You laugh and scoff at her behavior. "Watch it, little girl."
She giggles.
Once you're done, she grabs your plates and sets them in the sink before walking away.
"Woah! Woah! Where are you going?"
"I'm leaving you two alone. Kids aren't allowed on dates." She closes the door to your bedroom.
Your jaw drops. "Where did she get that idea?" You ask him.
“I- I don’t know.”
“Is she right though?”
“What do you mean?”
“Is this a date? I mean, are we dating now?”
He's not sure if saying that you guys are is the right idea or not because he doesn't know what you're thinking regarding the subject of dating him.
“If it changes anything, I'd go out with you.”
He perks up, leaning forward. “Even with everything that's happened.”
You wonder if he's referring to the incident at the mall or Freddy's. You nod, nonetheless. “Yeah, you idiot.” You bite the inside of your cheek, unsure of what's going to happen here.
“I don't think that's what girlfriends are supposed to call their boyfriends.”
“Who said you were my boyfriend?”
“I did.”
“It took your sister to help you to find the balls to ask me out, who might I add, said I should ask you out if you didn’t.” You rest your head on your knuckles. “So my question for you is,” the corner of your lips twitch as you fight the urge to smile wide, “when did you ask me to be your girlfriend?”
He stutters, resisting the urge to give you an embarrassing smile because you're right, he never did officially ask. “Will you be my girlfriend?”
“I don’t know.” You shrug and push yourself out of the chair. “I think I might have to think about it.” You’re pulled back, staring into his eyes.
“I think I already know the answer, you just don’t want to admit it.”
You let out a faux sigh, “you got me.”
He’s quiet and the only thing you know is that he’s got a million thoughts running through his head, but you don’t know what. “You know I’m not asking you out just because we almost died and I want something normal for me and Abby, right?”
“I wasn’t.”
His shoulders aren’t as tense, and you can see the stress escape him.
“Now, I am.”
He cups your cheeks, keeping your gaze on him. “I would never do anything unless I wanted to, right? You know that.”
You nod, “I know but… maybe it is too soon.”
“No,” he shakes his head, disagreeing with you.
“I have been in love with you since you kicked the dodgeball in my face during recess. It just- it took me so long to realize because of the guilt I carried for Garrett.”
“That was the second time we met?”
“And the reason we became friends.”
You wrap your arms around his shoulders, bringing him closer to hug him. “Who knew you were so sappy?”
“Hopefully you.”
You roll your eyes, pushing yourself back. “Yeah, yeah. My boyfriend’s an adorable idiot.”
He chuckles, “so I am your boyfriend?”
“Don’t ruin it.” You two crash on the couch while Abby takes over your bed, until she has a nightmare and comes to grab you two which is how you wound up in bed with your boyfriend of two hours and his kid sister.
-
The next couple of days were hectic, but you guys managed.
“You were right,” he said, closing the door behind him.
“When will you stop doubting me?”
“I never said I doubted you.”
You purse your lips. “I’m pretty sure, you said, “I don’t think she’s going to want spaghetti for the fourth night in a row” and look at where we are, pretty boy.”
“Pretty boy?”
“Yeah,” you lower your voice as if you’re talking to an adorable pet, “cause’ you’re so pretty.”
She looks up from her plate, “can we go visit my friends?”
His head lowers in disbelief before turning towards you, who avoids his gaze while eating a meatball.
You followed your boyfriend into his room, rubbing your eyes more than ready to sleep.
Tonight, it takes you less than twenty minutes to fall asleep, thankfully.
You blink finding yourself back in the arcade section of Freddy’s, following the echo coming from the dark hallway. You swear you hear a voice, quite literally calling out for someone to find it.
You open the door slowly, peeking in to see who it is and freeze.
“You found me.”
A lonely tear trickles down your cheek.
Who said life wasn’t about surprises?

smut 18+, marking, oral (f receiving), p in v
Mike Schmidt is the king of being pussy drunk. He'd spend hours with his face between your legs if you'd let him, slaking his thirst on your sweet nectar, rolling and pinching and nibbling at your clit in that way only he knows how until you're mewling, quivering, locking your thighs around his head and cumming with a weak cry; Mike thinks if there's any way to die, this would be how he wants to go.
Mike who works himself into a such a frenzy that by the time he gets around to fucking you, he's incoherent. He pushes in and his eyes cross and roll back in his head, he moans and whines and curses as your cunt involuntarily tightens and clenches around him and he can barely hold himself up, brain mush and bones liquefied. He swears your pussy is magic.
Mike who litters your soft skin with marks and bruises to show everyone just who he belongs to, to show everyone that you're his and he's yours. Teeth grazing your neck and your tits and your lower stomach until you're covered.
Mike who insists that you walk around the house dressed only in an oversized tee that you've stolen from his closet at one point or another, legs bare, marked a myriad of colours where his teeth and lips and tongue touched you the night before.
And, well, what an unfortunate awakening that must be for that nosy cop, Vanessa, when you answer his front door just like that one morning...

I NEED AND I MEAN I NEED YOUR THOUGHTS ON PERVY MIKE 🫣🫣🫣🫣keeping your panties with him when you go to work, snapping pantie shots when you wear a skirt for later use, shoving his hand in your pants (with consent of course) when his hands are cold, I should really see myself out…🧎🏻‍♀️
anon, you're an angel, ily
pervy!mike who swipes your panties from your underwear drawer when he's at your house and brings them to work to jerk off instead of sleeping on the job (vanessa nearly caught him once).
pervy!mike who sneaks up behind you at the kitchen counter and shoves his hands into your pants or up your shirt (with consent, obvi). when you yelp and roll your eyes, he mumbles a half-assed apology into your neck as he gropes you, using the excuse that it's "too damn cold outside".
pervy!mike who would get a full-blown hard-on whenever you ate vanilla ice cream, or ate a banana, or moaned while enjoying your favorite meal. he'd have to quickly excuse himself to the bathroom and get off as quietly as he could
pervy!mike who came in his pants the first time he ate you out, indulging in your quiet whimpers and sweet little moans. he was so embarrassed when you realized, but it quickly turned to relief when you didn't laugh at him, simply kissed him and told him you thought it was hot.
pervy!mike who would watch porn of any actress that looked vaguely like you over and over again until he started having wet dreams of you in those scenarios. he couldn't help but feel bad for it, but god, it felt so good at the same time.
i love pervy mike so much, you literally do not understand.

Synopsis: All you wanted to do was to save him from drowning.

Category: Angst to Fluff, Happy Ending
I absolutely adored this request. I hope you were serious about the angst, because it is there and it is heavy 🫠
『••✎••』
Tears…that's all you could feel. You felt them running down your cheeks, and you could feel your lips trembling as you sat on the tile floor, hugging your knees to your chest. The surrounding air was thick, a suffocating feeling. It was hard to breathe. Your head felt light, and your vision was a blur. You took in deep, shaky breaths, trying to hold back the sobs you desperately wanted to let out.
You never thought you would feel this way. It was like everything you had worked for your entire life had fallen through. It was like nothing meant anything to you anymore. Your life, your family, your friends. They didn't mean anything to you. You didn't care about them. You were alone, and the only person you cared about didn't seem to care about you back.
The apartment was dark and quiet. You sat in the bathroom, the door locked, the lights off, the fan running to block the sound of your tears. Your roommate had left hours before, saying she had an early morning class. You didn't know why they even had classes so early in the morning.
It felt like decades had gone by since you sat there on the bathroom floor. The bathroom tiles were cold and uncomfortable. You were cold and uncomfortable. You didn't feel like yourself. You weren't the type to get so worked up about anything. You weren't the type to sit on a bathroom floor and cry over things you couldn't fix. You were the type to keep your head held high. To smile through everything, even if the situation was tough. To be the rock for your friends to lean on.
But, you felt alone. You felt so alone.
Michael, Mike. Michael was the one who made you feel alone. You loved him. God, you loved him more than anything. You loved him so much. You loved how caring he was. How sweet he could be. How considerate he was. You loved every inch of him and every inch of what he did for you. He was so considerate of your feelings; he never pushed you to do things you weren't ready for. So, why did his words hurt you so much? Why did his actions make you feel so small and worthless?
Why?
It had only been a few months since you started dating, and everything seemed to be perfect. He was charming, sweet, and an all-around amazing guy. You were so happy with him. He was everything you wanted in a boyfriend, and you were over the moon with how everything was going. He even seemed to care for you; at least, that's what you thought.
He had been distant for the past few weeks. You found yourself seeing Abby more often than you did Mike. You would wake up, and he wouldn't be there, only to find him passed out on the couch or working on a late project in the kitchen.
He said he was fine, but you knew he wasn't. You could tell he wasn't okay. You knew something was bothering him, but he never opened up to you about what it was. You thought about telling him it was okay. That he could talk to you about anything, he didn't need to keep it bottled up. He didn't need to worry you like that.
You did eventually open your mouth to say something about how he was feeling, but before you could even get the words out, he shut you down. He said he was fine that you were overreacting. That you needed to worry about yourself more and stop thinking about his feelings all the time. You just needed to trust him.
You believed him. You foolishly believed him until it all came crashing down. During one of your many late nights babysitting Abby for him, you accidentally stumbled upon papers that he left on the coffee table. One of which was a delinquency notice dated back to last week. He was behind on rent and had a couple of other bills that were due soon. You didn't want to add to his stress, so you figured it wouldn't hurt to try and help him with those.
Apparently, it did hurt. It hurt enough to make him snap at you when you decided to approach him the night before about it. Abby was tucked into bed in her room for the night, so you decided it would be a good opportunity to talk to him just as he was about to leave. How stupid you were. How naive. You didn't know what he was going to say, but you had no idea he was going to get so angry. So angry, in fact, that it ended up waking Abby up.
You felt your stomach churn at the memory of his voice getting louder, your name getting harsher, the tone of his words getting angrier.
"I said I can take care of myself, just like I've always done." He was livid, his face red with anger. He was trying to keep his cool, but it seemed that it was just too much for him. "Why do you have to get involved? Just butt out, alright?"
"I just want to help, Mike. You shouldn't have to pay for everything on your own. I just want to be there for you, like you are for me," you said, reaching out for his hands, but he pulled away from you.
"I don't need you to take care of me. I can handle this on my own. I've been doing this on my own for a long time," he told you, crossing his arms over his chest. He didn't want to be touched, you could tell.
"You're right," you admitted. "You're an adult; you've been taking care of yourself for a long time, and I shouldn't try to change that. But I'm here, okay? I'm here for you and for Abby. And I'm not trying to take care of you; I'm just trying to help you. Just let me help you."
"What the hell do you think this is?!" Mike practically screamed at you. "You think this is easy?! You think I don't want to get out of debt, huh? Do you think I like being in debt? I don't! But it's my fault, and it's my job to take care of it!"
"Mike, calm down! Abby is sleeping in the next—" You tried to reason with him, but he didn't want to hear any of it. He was too mad. He was too angry. He turned and grabbed his car keys, turning back to look at you, the hurt and anger evident in his eyes.
"Abby isn't your concern; she's my responsibility. She's my sister, not yours. You're just—" Mike stopped himself, not wanting to say the next thing that came to his head. But you were right there, in front of him, looking up at him with eyes full of hurt. You were so close, so close he could see the tears glistening in your eyes.
“I'm just… what, Mike?" You asked him, your voice hitching. The tears that you had been holding back began to fall. You were at a breaking point; you didn't know how to feel anymore. You didn't know what you were feeling. All you knew was that your boyfriend just screamed at you and hurt you with his words.
You felt a hand on your shoulder and looked over your shoulder to see Abby standing there. She looked up at her brother with wide eyes and a confused expression. She looked from Mike to you, then to her hand that was on your shoulder. You felt numb. You couldn't believe what was happening.
"Abby…" Mike took a deep breath. "Abby, go back to bed, okay? I'll be back soon." He gave her a soft smile. The one he always gave you when you needed it. She looked up at him, giving him the same sad look she was giving you. She rubbed her eyes and walked back into her room, closing the door behind her. Mike turned his attention back to you, but he didn't say anything. He looked like he had more to say, but the words just didn't come out.
And that was the last time you saw him.
You spent the next couple of hours curled up on the floor, crying until you couldn't cry anymore. You tried to sleep in the own comfort of your bed, but every time you closed your eyes, you would see his face. His angry face. The face he made at you the last time you spoke. The face he made when he screamed at you. You hated it. You hated everything about it.
It was around six in the morning when you decided to finally leave your room. It was cold outside, but you didn't care. You needed some fresh air. You needed to get out of there for a little bit. You needed to get away from the suffocating apartment, the suffocating situation. You needed to get away from everything that reminded you of Mike. You walked down the hall to the patio, and you were almost to it when you heard the faint knock on the door.
You stood at the entrance to the living room, listening to the faint knocks. It was the first time in hours that you heard a sound other than your own voice. Your eyes were glued to the door, your hands in fists as you listened. And listened. And listened. It felt like an eternity before you finally decided to get the courage to walk up and answer it, reaching for the knob and pulling it open.
There, standing on the other side of the door, was your boyfriend. Michael was standing there, staring back at you. His face wasn't angry. He wasn't mad anymore. He didn't look sad either. He didn't look like anything at all. He looked blank, empty. Like he didn't have any emotions, his eyes were void of the emotions that you loved so much.
He wore his security vest, the little medallion dangling in front of his chest. He had his name tag attached to it, and you realized he came straight from work. He had bags under his eyes, and his hair was a mess, sticking out at the side. His posture was slouched, his shoulders hanging low. He looked exhausted. But he was there, and he was standing right in front of you like he was the one who had been waiting for so long. Like he was the one who was worried.
"Hi," he spoke quietly. He almost whispered. It was soft, and it was quiet. His voice was scratchy and dry. He was trying to smile, but he was trying so hard to force one that it hurt you to see it. You felt a sharp pain in your chest at the sight of him. "Can we… Can we talk?"
"What are you doing here, Michael? You need to be home for Abby." You felt the lump in your throat rise up as you spoke. You could feel the tears coming back to your eyes, and you knew he saw them. He was always good at seeing through you.
"I couldn't go home knowing we're not okay." He looked at you with the saddest look you had ever seen. The look made you want to cry again. You didn't want to cry anymore.
"I… I can't right now," you said, moving to close the door in front of you. "I need some time to think." You started to shut the door, but his hand was quick to stop you from closing it. He put his foot in between the door and the frame and held the door open.
"Please," he begged, practically whining. He was so desperate. You knew he was desperate. You could see it in his eyes, the way his eyebrows were furrowed, and how he was clenching his jaw. "I know I shouldn't have said what I did last night. I was just… I was just angry. I didn't mean what I said, and I'm sorry. I'm so sorry. You're the best thing that's ever happened to me, and I don't want to lose you because of my shit."
"Mike…" you started, but he cut you off.
"I'm just not used to having someone around all the time… Having someone help me. I know I get angry easily; Fuck, I know I'm stubborn. I know that I get mad at myself a lot because I'm not perfect, but I'm trying. I really am. For the longest time, it's just been Abby and I and no one else. I never really had someone who was willing to take care of me… and I've always been fine. I'm fine." Mike shook his head. "But I don't want to be just fine anymore. I want to be happy, and I want to be happy with you."
You felt a fresh set of tears fall from your eyes. You couldn't help it. The words were too much for you to handle. The sincerity in his voice, the way he was looking at you with his big hazel eyes, and how his voice cracked as he spoke. He looked like he had more to say, but he didn't. He just looked at you. He looked like he was searching for something. And you realized it was your forgiveness. He was waiting for your forgiveness. He was waiting for you to give him another chance.
You thought about all the times he opened up to you. All the times he let you in, and you helped him out when he needed it. You thought about how he was there when you needed him to be. You thought about how he would smile at you when you needed him to, how he would make you smile even on your worst days.
"I think you owe a dollar for the swear jar, maybe more," you spoke softly, looking up at him with your red, puffy eyes. He gave you a confused look, but he soon realized what you were talking about. He chuckled as he wiped the tears from your eyes.
"Yeah, I guess I do. Sorry, Abby," he apologized, acting like he was talking to his little sister. She wasn't here right now, but you knew he still felt like he needed to apologize to her for his actions, too. He always felt the need to apologize. He felt the need to try and be a better brother. To try and be a better son. He looked at you with those big eyes of his. The same eyes you fell in love with.
"Hug?" you asked, a small smile gracing your face. You didn't know why you asked, but you did. You felt the lump in your throat slowly ease up, and you finally felt the air in your lungs start to flow. He smiled back at you, opening his arms, and you stepped into them, burying your face in his shoulder.
He pulled away and kissed your forehead, resting his on top of yours. He rubbed your back as you wrapped your arms around him. He felt safe and warm. He felt like everything that was missing.
"I still don't want you covering the debt," he told you. "But… I'll take the help. I can take the help. I'll take it as long as it's you." You could hear him smiling, and you squeezed him tighter.
"Of course. Of course."
Everything was falling back into place. It wasn't perfect. It wasn't fixed. There was still so much to work out, but it was starting to feel a little better. You felt a little better. You felt a little more whole again. The ache in your heart wasn't so bad. It was bearable, and you could finally breathe again.
"You can let go of me now." Mike's voice was muffled against the top of your head, and you realized you were squeezing him too tight.
Still, you didn't let go. "No, you're warm," you said, smiling into his chest.
He let out a small sigh, shaking his head. "Is this my punishment? Is this what I have to look forward to for the rest of my life?"
"It could be worse. I could still be mad at you," you replied, kissing the side of his neck.
"Well, in that case," he suddenly grabbed you by your waist and hoisted you up over his shoulder. He laughed as you yelped out in surprise, flailing your limbs. You felt the world turn upside down, and you screamed as he turned and walked back inside, closing the door behind him. "Let me show you how sorry I am."
He might've ended up causing Abby to be late to school that morning, but it was okay. It was okay because you were laughing. You were smiling, and most of all, you were happy.
You were happy because even though it wasn't perfect, he was trying. He was trying to make things better for himself and for you. And for the first time in a long time, it felt like you were finally home.

Late Night At Fazbear's
Mike Schmidt x Fem Reader
Summary: Mike is an ex-coworker with whom you have a situationship with. Knowing about your interest in arcade games, he invites you to visit him at an abandoned pizzeria to check it out. Things get a little heated before you get a chance to look around.
Word Count: 2.5k+
(!This is a smut fanfic, you’ve been warned!)
<3<3<3<3<3<3<3<3<3<3<3
You were working on some last-minute statistics homework after you got out of the shower. It was a Friday night and even though you got an offer from your friend group to go out, you decided to stay home. Going to house party after party was getting annoying. Half the time, the only people there were drunk frat boys trying to get some before their whiskey dick kicked in. Being a wing girl for your friends was fun the first thirty times but now you’d rather stay home. Things in your life seemed so stagnant, it was like all you did was school, work, then bumming it at home. Like you were some uncharismatic dad in a sitcom. Suddenly your phone goes off, which breaks you out of the trance you were in. When you answered, you immediately recognized the voice to be Mike from the pizza place you guys used to work at together. You thought it was kinda weird that he was calling you so randomly but you did talk often when working together. For reasons that still are unclear, you answered.
“Hey! Sorry I know this is- it’s kinda random but can you talk for a second?” his voice spoke over the receiver.
“Yeah, I’m just hanging out at home. What’s up?” you asked, now standing up to pace around your room.
“Oh cool cool, so kinda weird to explain but bear with me here. Remember how you were super obsessed with the old arcade games we had in the back of the pizza shop? Anyway, I got this new job at an old pizzeria and there’s a bunch of old games and animatronics. I was thinking while I’m working the graveyard shift you could maybe swing by for an hour or two and check it out with me?” His voice was so sweet and soft-spoken that you couldn’t help but blush over the phone. You coiled your finger around the wire of the landline.
“Umm, yeah that sounds kinda fun actually, when are you there till?” you asked with a hint of a smirk on your face.
“My shift starts at 12 am and ends at 6 am, no pressure. Obviously, I’ll be here all night,” he laughed.
“Yeah, I’ll call you right before I leave okay?” you asked softly.
“Yeah that’s perfect, I’ll see you then,” he said.
You put the phone back on its hook and check the time on your alarm clock. To your dismay, you’d been studying for two hours and it was 10:50. Luckily you’d already showered but that wasn’t the problem. Internally, you were going through a moral dilemma. Part of you was telling yourself that he was just a coworker that got attached and another part, wanted to do your hair and make-up and hair before going. Making sure that every strand sat just right as if he’d somehow notice. To make sure your eyelashes have the exact amount of mascara they need to be long but not clumpy. If you thought all these things, wouldn’t that mean you do care what he thinks of you? Although you were bubbling with a mix of nervousness and anticipation, you managed to finish getting ready. You start packing your bag, pacing around looking for all your items. Car keys, pocket knife, compact, body spray, and your wallet. As you went to take the cartoon of cigarettes from your bedside table, you thought about taking the joint that was rolled. Sitting on your knees in front of your nightstand, you start dialing Mike’s number to let him know you are on the way. After shoving all the contents into the bag, you make your way outside and start your Mazda. You were sitting in the car for a few moments, thinking about if you were really going.
Once you pulled into the parking lot, thoughts of regret started to bubble in your brain. You would have turned around if it weren’t for Mike’s car being in the parking lot. You checked the time on the radio and saw that it was only 12:57, was it weird that you were there so early? You were slightly worried that it would look desperate. Deciding to let that unneeded anxiety go, you get out of the car and lock your doors. Take a moment to take in the outside of the building. It appeared to be severely unkempt, brown vines covered most of the building. Due to the unsettling vibe of the building, the bear that was supposed to look cute and inviting was the exact opposite. Creating an ominous feeling as it waved at you. The walls were mostly a dull yellow color with red and blue accents and a black and white checkered line across the middle. One of the R’s of the sign was out, only adding to the sketchy feeling. You knocked on the big metal doors, wiping your knuckles off on your jeans. When Mike swung the door open, it made you jump and gasp. This caused him to break out into a fit of laughter. You playfully pushed his shoulder back.
He took you back to the small room where he was monitoring all the security footage. The room was more creepy than the outside of the building. You sat down on the desk and Mike plopped down on his office chair. He was completely slouched back, wearing a gray thermal and a dark hooded sweater. His hair was more curly than shaggy and he had a five o’clock shadow. You set your purse on the desk and stood up, looking at the security cameras. One of the first things you noticed was the group of animatronics that were standing on the stage together. It was then that you realized what you really had gotten yourself into.
He was surprised that you even came, yes you guys had become close while working together but he didn’t think it would lead to anything after. You were currently facing away from him, and he couldn’t help but admire you as you did so. He liked the fact that you were so well put together. Your jeans were fitted perfectly and your thong peaked out slightly from the top of your waistband. When you entered the small room, the entire space began to smell like apple-scented perfume. The white long sleeve was also very fitted, which brought attention to your figure. You turned around once you noticed it had been silent for a while. Grabbing your purse, you pull out the cartoon of cigs. Bringing the lighter to it and taking a drag to light it. After taking a couple of puffs you pass it to Mike who leans forward with a groan. As he took his hit, a piece of ash fell onto his pants. You leaned down and brushed it off his knee.
“So much for cutting back right?” he asked rhetorically.
“Oh yeah, I did switch to Spirits though. My grandma swore by these,” you said taking it back.
“Do you smoke weed?” he asked, you laughed and started digging through your bag and pulled out the Altoids container, grabbing the joint.
“Will you get in trouble? For like, smoking on the job?” you asked.
“Oh no, this place is abandoned. There’s usually nobody in and out of here that would notice,” he said.
You lit the joint and took a deep drag, blowing the smoke at his face playfully. He laughed as he took the joint into his hands and inhaled. You put the cig out on the glass ashtray that sat on the desk. He commented on how good the flower tasted which made you relieved knowing he didn’t think it was reggie. You guys started talking about memories of working together. You guys would always take smoke breaks together and go to lunch every once and a while. Mike actually listened to what you had to say. He wasn’t the type of person that constantly changed to a conversation with himself. A lot of guys you spoke with were usually just telling you whatever you wanted to hear. Everything you had to say was so fascinating and impressive because they were just trying to butter you up. Mike would actually give his opinions on things and would tell you if he thought what you were saying was stupid. It was refreshing, to be honest, to have an interaction with the opposite sex without them drooling on you. You glanced over at Mike, maybe it was the weed but something felt different now. The way his legs were spread so widely made something in you feel hot. Eyes were now bloodshot, making the hazel color stand out even more than before. When he reached for the joint again, his hand brushed over yours. This made you make eye contact with him but then break away once the awkwardness set in. You looked down and tucked a piece of hair behind your ear.
“Are you still with Jackson?” he asked.
“What? Oh yeah, we broke up a while ago,” you said, rubbing your arm.
“Well, what happened? I mean… If you don’t mind me asking,” he said.
“No it’s- he just..” you took a deep inhale and spoke as the smoke poured out of your mouth, “he was really aggressive like, not just with his words. Not saying he beat me or anything but some things are meant to be more sweet and gentle. Sorry, I don’t know why I'm telling you this,” you said, passing it back.
“No, I’m the one who brought it up. He always was a little misogynistic when we talked, I’m sorry you were subjected to that,” he said. You were sitting on the desk, you kicked off your sandals and gently swung your legs back and forth.
“Yeah, I guess it just wasn’t meant to be,” you sighed.
“For sure, you could do so much better than that,” he said.
“Oh yeah? When you say better what do you mean by that?” you asked, leaning over to grab the joint.
“Like if you said he was overly aggressive then you’ll find someone that is more gentle and shit,” he said, chuckling a little.
“Oh, I see,” you moved your foot so that it was resting on his inner thigh before continuing, “Maybe you could show me?” you asked flirtatiously, he looked up and looked at you with a shocked expression.
You used your leg to roll him closer to where you were sitting. He was now smirking, looking up at you. He let his hands slide up both your outer thighs. He pulled you off the desk so that you were now sitting in his lap facing him. You still had the joint in your hand, you took a hit before letting it sit on the ashtray. Your noses were touching and you were relieved to see that his breath was as fast as yours. Running your fingers through his hair, forcing his head to tilt back a little. You ran your bottom lip across his, arching your back and pressing your crotches together. He picked you up which caused you to wrap your legs around his waist. He set you on the desk again so that he was standing, hovering over you. You reached your hands down between your bodies, trying to unbuckle his belt. He stopped the kiss and chuckled at your eagerness and helped you. As you unzipped his jeans, one of his arms reached behind you and undid the clasps of your bra. The way he unhooked it with one hand made you throb. He pulled your shirt over your head, leaving you in nothing but jeans. He still had his jeans on but now that his pants were undone, you could feel how hard he was through his boxers. It was like the heat coming off his dick was making your stomach feel warm and tight. Before he buried his face into your chest, the look on his face was almost primal. Like it was taking everything he had to keep his hands off of you. He took one of your breasts into his mouth and sucked, biting down every once in a while. He reached into his backpack that was sitting on the desk and pulled out a condom. He was breathing heavily and a couple of drips of sweat were beading down his forehead. As you unzipped your jeans you looked over at the security camera and thought you saw one of the animatronics move from the stage. You pulled away for a second to show him,
“Mike, I know we smoked and everything. Oh my god, I know this is going to be crazy but I swear I just saw one of those… things moved,” you said as he trailed kisses up your shoulder.
“This is my third day here and I think that all the time. It’s just your head playing tricks on us because of how creepy they look,” he said, then tearing the foil package open.
“Are you sure because I could have..” you started but then were interrupted by Mike throwing the still-packaged condom onto the desk and pressing a button that made both doors close around you. He then got down on his knees and gripped the top of your jeans, pulling them down. Instead of trying to pull your panties off of you, he simply pulls them to the side. Sticking his tongue in between your folds, massaging your clit. You had been in a dry spell since you broke up with Jackson and even then, he would never go down on you. The feeling of his mouth pressed against you was so euphoric, the moans that came out of your mouth were completely natural and unrehearsed. His pace was slow but he kept a steady rhythm which helped you chase to your climax. Instead of pulling at his hair, you cupped his face, gently stroking his cheeks with your thumbs. He looked up and made direct eye contact with you. His eyebrows were furrowed but when he saw the look on your face, his eyes closed and he groaned loudly. He grabbed your ankles and pushed your legs back so that your feet were now on the desk. You grabbed two fistfuls of hair and threw your head back, moaning loudly. The pressure of the top of your thighs being pressed into your lower stomach. Crying out as you cum, the moans came out strangled. As you started to come down from the wave of ecstasy, you began to feel insecure about how fast he made you cum.
“God you are so fucking hot, like seriously I almost came in my boxers,” he said standing up and grabbing the condom. His lips were parted and his mouth was still covered in saliva. Without wiping his mouth, he slid the rubber onto his shaft.
“Sorry, do you want to keep going?” he asked, you didn’t verbally respond. Instead, you grabbed him by his shirt and smashed your mouth into his. He moaned the word ‘fuck’ into your mouth before continuing kissing. He broke away to look down and line himself up with your entrance. You were still wet and swollen from the previous orgasm, enabling him to slide in with you easily. He dropped his forehead down on your shoulder, mouth open and moaning as he slowly started rocking back and forth into you. You scooted your ass down so that you could fully be pressed against his hips. The desk was continuously banging up against the wall. Your foreheads were now pressed together groaning and growling into each other’s mouth. Everything suddenly came to a halt when everything went dark. You both jump and start looking for any articles of clothing that are nearby. The big metal doors on both sides of you slam open so loud, that your ears start ringing.
“What the fuck just happened!” you exclaim.
“The battery died,” he realizes.
“Well has that ever happened while you’re working?” you asked.
“No,” he stated.
“Holy fuck, do you hear that fucking music?” you whispered.

boyfriend!futturman headcanons!!
boyfriend!futturman would be sooooo clingy, but in a silly way. he’d love to follow you around, basically like a puppy at your heels. he would constantly have a hand on you, rather that was by holding onto the sleeve of your shirt or wrapping his arm around you, there would be constant contact. he was so obsessed with you that even when you showered or took a bath, he’d be close, like, seriously. very close. if he didn’t opt to shower or cram into the tub with you (very rare, typically when he’s already showered and can’t be bothered), he would instead either sit with his back leaning against the side of the tub. if you were enjoying a nice bubble bath, he’d sit on the ledge of the tub, massaging your shoulders.
boyfriend!futturman would sleep in, a little too much. first, you’d start off sweet. you’d press a kiss to his forehead as his alarm went off, his entire body still relaxed and passed out cold, loud snores that tended to annoy you on some nights (but you loved him, so you dealt with it) coming from his mouth. you’d try to entice him with sweet words, promising breakfast and a nice shower together. eventually you’d give up being sweet, having to violently shake his shoulders before he’d even creep his eyes open. sometimes, he’d doze off again. on mornings you could feel it coming, you’d lift your shirt up, revealing your bare chest. this always worked.
boyfriend!futturman who even though he was somewhat lazy at times would take you out on nice dates. sometimes they’d be on fancy dinners, sometimes on sweet picnics or to different festivals. he’d always dress up real nice, buying you a nice new dress with some money he’d saved up. he would be so sweet and gentlemanly, peppering you with kisses all night, dancing then night away with you.

It was nothing out of the ordinary, being paired with your elder sister, Vanessa, tagging along her side during the night shifts. If you were being quite honest with yourself, you had suspected it. Besides, she was your senior, a colleague, as you were just a fresh, new recruit in the local police department. To break the ice, your sheriff thought it best to pair you two together, nonetheless.
"Just need to make a quick stop-"
As the alluring neon red and blue lights flickered off from the reflection of the dark, stained glass, your curious eyes wandered towards the desolate, outdated building before you. From the sheer glimpse of the ruined exterior, an uneasy sensation, some hesitation to even leave the vehicle began to churn in the pit of your stomach. This place did not look welcoming by the least, despite the shattered fragments of cartoonish figures decorated on its exterior: most likely an attempt to appeal to the children of previous generations.
"Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria?" You confounded, naturally feeling the puzzling flex of your brows furrowing with confusion, as you turned to face your elder sister in the driver's seat.
"Just need to make a quick round, Mike here is the new security guard... This place is known for vandals and criminal activity. And he's only one person."
With the swift mention of his name, Vanessa's head instinctively nudged towards the direction of the older, rugged looking brunette, who stood by the locked entrance of the neglected complex. Eerily as if he had heard the mention of his name, even with the substantial distance apart, his head flicked upwards as means of a wordless "hello."
His features felt unthreatening, strewed with a tinge of exhaustion, as you noticed the dark circles that saturated beneath his eyes. Regardless, you could not deny, he was quite pleasing to look at, a handsome face nonetheless: it was a shame he spent his nights hidden away in some remote corner of town, and his days asleep.
"Glad to see you made it through another night. Just wanted to make sure you hadn't run into trouble already. This is my sister, by the way, and our new rookie, Y/N-"
"Dragged you along, did she now?" Mike remarked, and although you surmised it was his attempt to kid, his tone remained monotoned, except for the subtle, sly smirk across his face, as he assertively leaned his hands over to shake your own. His grip was strong against your own, his hand larger in size, swallowing your own, his texture rough. His lingering eyes had been fixated on you since you came into his vision: catching fleeting yet blatant glances, he showed no shame when you had caught him those few instances. A sudden, flustering wave of heat flashed across your face, feeling your cheeks turn shamefully scarlet. Even disguised in your uniform, declaring such authority, you felt bashfully meek in his presence, rather a school girl than a cop.
As Vanessa's familiar voice echoed in the background, your attention panned to the vacant, decaying building. It felt somewhat eerily familiar, a faint memory you could scamper in your mind in the distance and yet nothing jolted a clear vision.
The abrupt static whirring of the radio from the vehicle had snapped you back to reality: immediately she excused herself as she scattered off, leaving you to bask with Mike.
"S-So you've only just started as security... Here?" You softly stutter, intent on maintaining direct eye contact with Mike in reciprocation, even though it felt conflicting against your meek nature. Despite the practical training and experience dealing with delinquents, this vulnerability was a first. He seemed timid yet unnerving simultaneously: you felt uncertain whether he was simply just a quiet, introverted man or if he truly intended to disguise and deceit himself as one.
"No-No, I've been here for a month now, your sister just likes to make her rounds. Think she's still uncertain about me, but I don’t blame her."
His response ignited a satisfying wave of relief: as you leaned towards the hurtful notion that he would ignore you. The huskiness in his low voice almost made it feel as though he was sleep talking, only loud enough for you to hear.
"Just a curious thing though, your uh- sister. She's never mentioned you before...W-Why's that?" He uttered, as his brows frowned in sync with his words, a bemused look tinged across his face, as he patiently awaited your answer.
"W-Well V's always been private about her personal life. Since I could remember, sh-she's always been this particular way. Just her innate nature, I s'pose," Defeatedly sighing garnishing your final words, with an indefinite shrug, before glancing back at Vanessa, caught in her own world.
"Well, your sister took no time trusting me... But you- You are the undetected anomaly in her story. There must be a reason..."
Tumblr media
Vanessa had abruptly left in the company of a man you had just met.. Having hastily returned from the radio call, from a fellow colleague requesting for her senior presence as backup, she was bound to follow. She had insisted you remain with Mike as he settled for the night, whether he approved of it or not however, you could not say with certainty. He remained silent and sullen, as you both carefully watched your elder sister driving off into the nightly distance, the glaring neon blue and red lights flashing in the distance.
Mike had led you in, gesturing you to enter first as a gentleman would, before shutting the entrance close once more. Thankfully, he had broken the awkward silence, excusing himself momentarily to boost the electricity, only to give you a brief tour of the premises before guiding you into the security office, where the blank monitor screens echoed your reflection.
"So you really just sit here the entire night? And watch the screens?" You intrigued, feeling the natural flex of your brows furrowing, as you fiddled with the papers and dusty stationary on the desktop. A part of you, unable to fathom that a job like this would exist in such a deserted place like this.
"A job is a job for me. At that point, I was willing to take anything they offered." The monotone level of his voice was unwavering, deep, his tiresome eyes remained fixated on you though, as you remained unwilling to return the favour.
"I suppose so, don't you get lonely all by yourself though? Nothing to make the time go by-"
With no spatial awareness, you hadn't even realised how close Mike had slowly crept towards you. Closing off the distance inch by inch, before he assertively strode towards you. The unfamiliar sensation of his arm snaking around your waist, was what had caught your deficient attention, as he plunged his lips against your own in a passionate kiss. And although your eyes had widened in bewilderment, your body froze like an ancient statue in the initial seconds, as your mind raced to comprehend. As he lingered on, pursuing the kiss, your tense muscles easing, you felt no obligation to shove Mike off. No urge to decline his advance, it felt destined, relaxed into his embrace.
"W-What was that about?" You breathlessly stuttered: not wanting to decline Mike nor give the impression that you had disapproved. Despite only having met the man an hour ago, he made you feel helpless, like some schoolgirl with a pathetic, little crush that devoured her from the inside out.
Was it truly the boredom of the night that had consumed his rational mind, to do something that seemed quite extraordinary for him?
"You don't think I didn't notice you blushing outside? How nervous I made you? You don't think I would take advantage of a pretty girl like you gushing on me, huh?
His soft lips once more made contact with you, although this time exploring the sensitive crook of your nick: eagerly sucking at your tender skin.
"M-Mike we sh-shouldn't, I-I'm an off-"
"Nah-Nah, baby... You're going to be my fuck toy tonight. My little, pretty whore to keep me company. That's what you really want to be, right?"
His gentle kisses in between the suckling of your skin was bewitching enough to send your mind into an abyss. You knew this was wrong, you knew that if Vanessa found out, if your department found out, it would stain your career, or worse. And yet, your body said otherwise, disintegrating into Mike's lustful appetite.
"I-I sh-shouldn't."
*tut tut* "You know you want to, baby... Why deny it? I didn't think there were any pretty girls worth it left in this fucking hell hole... You think I'm going to pass it up?-"
With his words, Mike had swiftly lifted you momentarily, nesting himself between your spread legs as you sat atop the desk. One of his rough, calloused hands remained pinning your hips, whilst the other snaked its way smoothly beneath your uniform, firmly cupping and kneading at your breast.
"No-No... I've already put up with enough, I deserve something special. M'gonna fuck you so good, I'll have you forgetting you even were on the job."
"Y-Yes" You pathetically whimper, your hands instinctively wandering over Mike's body, itching to feel his bare skin against your palms. You manage to sneak your arms beneath his shirt, feeling the thickness of his flexing muscles beneath his moving body, as you grip at his shoulders, nails digging into his flesh.
"Look at you, princess, already so needy for me. You desperate for my cock, huh? What happened to the talking stage?" He lowly teases, a smirk spewed across his face, as you feel its curvature press against your skin, his low chuckle in harmony to your mindless whimpers and moans.
"L-Later- I-I want you now, M-Mike."
"That's my girl," His deep growls vibrating against your tender, cool skin. You hadn't even realised how swift and slick Mike was, unclasping your bra, as he began to unbutton your polo shirt, before undoing your pants. Returning the favour, with much haste and eagerness, you began to unbuckle Mike's worn out belt, as you undid his jeans.
"Easy, baby, easy- What would they think of you back at the station? The police department's little slut... My pretty, little slut."
For a few split seconds, Mike ogled at your lace panties, savouring the sight before pulling them down to expose your bare, wet cunt. Noticing how his eyes lit for the first time since meeting, an ecstasy glistened in his dark orbs, as he licked his lips with desire.
"I'm gonna have you at my beckon call from now. Spoil me with your services."
Mike pulled his body apart from yours, the heat exuding, as both your bodies felt flushed and moistened with sweat: panting as you caught your breath. Mike naturally pulled his underpants down, exposing his rigid, girthy cock: just above average length, although the sheer size was mouthwatering. His tip reddened, with a few veins protruding with anticipation.
"Look-Look at what you've done to me, Y/N..."
Without a moment to spare, as Mike once again closed the faint distance between: his throbbing cock teasingly brushed against your sensitive folds, before plunging himself in. The lightning, raw pain was exhilarating, as you felt your walls stretching beyond relief to accomodate for Mike's bulky mass. His steady pace was sloppy, as his thrusts would quicken with each pump, pummelling your body further into the desk. If you hadn't been clinging to his back dearly, nails drilling into his skin [you were certain evidence of reddened, defined marks would show] that you'd knock of a monitor or two.
"F-Fuck you feel s-so good. So tight for me, baby. Th-This was meant to be. M-Meant for me."
Endless curses and swears escaped from Mike's mouth, in sync to your moans of his name. Each time his name left your mouth, his thrust grew more vigorous, igniting something animalistic in him.
With each sloppy, hasten pace and forcible thrust, Mike had finally reached his peak, shooting his hot, thick seed inside of you, drenching your insides. Your stretched, tight walls coated now, some seed spilling through the gaps onto your inner thighs, once again was a gesture that made Mike pleased. Pleased with himself, more so.
Inevitably, this ignited the same peak, as your wetness pooled over his cock, still buried and throbbing inside of you.
"F-Fuck Y/N... Th-That was s'fucking good."
After having regained your senses and thoughts, you'd managed to clean yourself up, Mike humbly passing you a spare cloth or two from the cleaning storage. He remained by your side, intently watching you from a shy distance, interjecting just once to make certain you were okay. As you finished, he exhaustedly sat himself down on the desk chair, rubbing his palms against his thick, sprawled thighs.
"You make sure it's you visiting me from now, baby. Your sister talks too much for my liking... And she's not as pretty to look at as you."
Despite the familiar, bashful feeling Mike made you feel, as foolish as butterflies in your stomach, you felt somewhat used, and dejected.
"I-I'm not some girl you can just sleep around with Mike. I have morals, and I have a respectable job... You can't just use me like-"
"I don't want to use you, Y/N... I-I want to make you mine, the fucking is just an ugh-added bonus."
Sighing in defeat, although Mike's sly smirk was a devious looking one, his eyes however remained unchanged and stern. In the pit of your stomach, your instincts told you there was truth to his words.
Just as you were about to fathom a response, the sudden, screeching ringing sound of an outdated buzzer blared through the speaker. Mike leapt over towards the monitors, deciphering a button or two, before multiple screens lit up with the perspective of some camera in a corner. On one screen the familiar, blonde hair of your sister shot through, before her face turned towards the camera.
"Our time's up, princess. I'll see you later, okay?"

Fluff! ??? to Fiancés?!
A late night trip and you three stop by a convenience store. Abby finally gives you two the push you needed.
word count: 1,440 words
warnings: movie spoilers?
Tumblr media
"Okay, okay, okay. 80's or 50's?"
"Really? These are the best options?"
"We've been here for a while, I think we've exhausted all other interesting options." You reach for another bottle of soda, opening it and letting the fizz settle down before taking a sip. "Now, pick,"
The two of you were perched on top of the trunk of his car. Very late at night, the nearest landmark being a nearby convenience store where you bought some chips and drinks to enjoy while you wait 'till you both weren't feeling droopy to continue your road trip. Abby, sound asleep at the back seat, who said she wanted to "stay up with you guys", was very eager to go on this trip. Especially since she rarely gets to go out with you and her big brother. Poor thing fell asleep and you didn't have the heart to wake her, so Mike stayed to watch her while you went to purchase some refreshments. Now, at the back of his car, you two talked nonsense for what felt like forever.
"Uhh, the latter." He takes a chip from the bag and eats it, all the while your eyebrows furrow at his answer.
"Really?" The tone was laced with disbelief and you eagerly wait for his defense.
"What? You'd rather pick the 80's?"
"Uh, yeah? against the 50's who wouldn't?" You playfully nudge him on the shoulder, unknowingly bringing up his memories from his last job as a night guard at the pizza place. Your eyes widened when the realization hit you. "...Oh."
"Idiot." Mike flicks your forehead and you raise your palm to cover it after he does. You remembered that morning at the hospital when you received his call and rushed there only to find him injured, officer Vanessa unconscious, and Abby scared to leave his side. You could've sworn you almost passed out after hearing what happened a few hours before.
Ghost children possessing robot animals? Murderer who wears a yellow bunny suit? It all sounded funny but the serious looks in their eyes and their very REAL injuries made you believe them. Since then, you've been more active in helping them out. Whether it be moving in with them to help with the bills and keeping Abby company while Mike's out to look for a job or planning something for the three of you to enjoy, all to get them to recover and forget the whole ordeal about the pizzeria.
So now, 7 months after the incident, Mike got a job, and you both saved up some money to go on a trip for the weekend.
"I didn't realize! Sorry!" You sheepishly replied and Mike gave a small laugh. That moment made you pause for a bit. Mike had no time to relax for a long time, so it was refreshing to see him smile and laugh.
"When do you think we should get going? It's probably midnight by now and I am dying to sleep. Y'know? While you drive us the rest of the way there." He says and you playfully rolled your eyes at him.
"Hey! You said you were gonna stay up with me like I stayed up when you drove!" Mike shakes head and continues eating his chips.
"No, no, I don't remember making that kind of agreement." A playful smirk starts making its way to his face. "I do recall you insisting to stay awake with me even though I said you should go to sleep," This little-
"Yeah! Because we're traveling at night, can't have us end up in a ditch somewhere?!"
The car door opens and shuts. Turning around, you see Abby rubbing her eyes as she makes her way towards both of you. Mike calls out to her and helps her sit in between the two of you.
"Why didn't you wake me up?" Her droopy eyes turn to you and then to Mike.
"You looked like you were deeply asleep. Sorry, did we wake you?" Grabbing a cold bottle of water, bought specifically for Abby, you tried opening it. Noticing this, Mike grabs the bottle and opens it before handing it to his sister. You whispered "I loosened it for you" to him before Abby speaks again.
"No. But are we there yet?"
"Not yet. We stopped here because we were getting sleepy and wanted to rest for a bit before we go." You handed her the plastic bag that had 2 bags of chips left for her to pick. "You excited to be there already?"
She picks one from the bag and opens it, grabbing a chip and eating it. "Yeah. Can we go on more trips soon?"
You and Mike share a look, unsure how to respond, so he answers for you. "We'll see, Abs,"
She doesn't respond to that. Instead, she asks you another question. "Are you going to keep staying with us? I like when you're around."
"Of course. I'll be here until Mike kicks me out." She chuckles at your response before turning to Mike. "You're not gonna kick them out, are you?"
"We'll see, Abs."
You playfully glare at him and he shrugs.
"Why don't you two just get married?"
Abby continues to eat, unaware how her question sounded to the both of you, but aware of your unique kind of friendship where borderline lovers was the most appropriate thing to actually call what you and Mike had. The fumble of words from you two comes quick but Abby doesn't take back her suggestion.
"You two have known each other for years and we've been living together for months now. I know you two have arguments sometimes, but you always work it out." She whispers the last part but the both of you hear it clear as day. "Plus you said you like each other-"
Two voices yelled out, "Abby!" You and Mike look at each other, the realization setting in that she's right. When you two looked away, silence ensued. Mike was the first to speak. "Maybe...maybe marriage... is too..."
"Fast?"
"Yeah,"
Abby's smile grows but she's tired of waiting for the two of you awkwardly fumble your words and just wants the two of you to get together. Yes, she's noticed the way you take care of her and Mike and how Mike takes care of you. How the house has been much livelier with you around and how well the three of you have been since living under the same roof.
Mike's also noticed how much better the two of them have been since you've gotten closer to them. He can't deny he's embarrassed but also flustered when the parents of Abby's classmates mistaken the both of you as her parents--A story for another time. He's open to the idea. Looking back to the times you two stayed up to watch some popular sitcom that was playing on the TV or messing up a new dish you three wanted to try, Mike really felt at ease those days. And the fact that Abby loves you too is an added bonus.
"Just propose already! You can get married years from now, just ask them already!" Abby grabs his shirt and you laugh as you see her futile attempt to shake him.
Mike sees you and realizes he loves you. He cherishes you and wants nothing more than to see you smile and laugh over and over again. To be part of your life for the rest of his.
"Okay, okay, Abby stop." He grabs a hold of her hands before looking at you. "Will you-"
"You already don't have a ring, at least get down on one knee!" You laugh again at Abby.
Mike sighs and is ready to get up and down on the ground when he quickly runs to the convenience store. You and Abby share a look of confusion until he returns, unwrapping something in his hands. You couldn't see what it is until he got down on one knee and presented it to you.
He says your name softly and you get down from the trunk in front of him, smiling at the ring pop he's proposing with. "Will you marry me?"
You nod, giving him a small yes and let him put the ring pop on your ring finger. Too excited, Abby gets down and hugs you both so hard, you three almost topple over. But none of you cared. Abby was happy to see you and her big brother finally get together. Mike, relieved you said yes and was willing to be with him. You, happy to have these two brighten up your life.

✶ pairing: mike schmidt x reader
✶ tags: no warnings, just fluff :)
✶ notes: i haven't finished the fnaf movie, but i've been a fan of the series for such a long time and i absolutely love it so far!! here's a short little fic that i've been thinking about for a couple days; i just really like the babysitter reader headcanon and had to write something with that <3
Tumblr media
You gaze at the clock, which read 3:26 a.m. You sighed in disappointment. Although only a few minutes had passed by, it seemed like it’d be forever till Mike came home. You’d spent all night taking care of Abby and as lovely as she was, you were exhausted.
The whole night had been spent cooking and playing and looking after her and by the time she fell asleep, you could barely stay awake yourself. You couldn’t keep your eyes open any longer. Before you knew it, you felt your eyes slowly close and you fell fast asleep on the couch.
After some time has passed, you hear the door open, though you felt too tired to care in the moment. You are a light sleeper, but in your state, you could barely decipher Mike's softly spoken words as he came in. You sense his presence moving about the kitchen and you guessed he was just fixing himself a meal. You sink into the sofa, exhausted, lying down on the couch to catch some more sleep. What felt like a couple of moments later, you felt arms around you.
At first, you assumed it was Abby, trying to wake you up for a glass of water. However, when you sense yourself being lifted into the air, you quickly realized it had to have been Mike trying to get you off the couch. It confused you, but it was far too early in the morning for you to be able to care. You drift off once again, too fatigued to comprehend much more.
You wake up in the middle of the night to find yourself on a mattress and not the couch cushions you remember seeing. You look around, taken aback to discover Mike by your side, fast asleep and limbs splayed out. Taking in your environment, you notice a few dirty shirts, a couple of books about dreams and a Nebraska poster up above you.
You deduced that this was Mike’s room, but you had no clue what you were doing here with him, in his bed of all places. That’s when you put two and two together: Mike must’ve carried you here after seeing you asleep on the couch
You laid back on the bed and looked towards him.  You had to admit, he looked pretty cute. He looked so peaceful right now; it seemed like he didn’t have a care in the world, a stark difference from his usual furrowed brows and dark circles. And for someone who didn’t have time to go to the gym, his arms were pretty muscular. You’d always thought he was attractive, but tonight definitely painted him in a whole new light.
You didn’t know what compelled you to do it, but you scooched forward so that your head was just a few inches from his chest. Although he’d been in a small sweaty office for most of the night, he honestly smelled pretty good; he smelled like pine and rain. His presence lulled you to sleep, and you soon fell back asleep.
You felt a subtle tug across your body, and to your surprise, it was his arm embracing you, pulling you towards his chest. You couldn’t complain though; it definitely felt nice. You closed your eyes again, a soft smile stretching across your face. You didn’t know where this would go when you both woke up, but for now, you were too blissful to care.

Baby Fever
Mike Schmidt x GN!Reader
Tumblr media
Summary: You never liked babies. You always believed they were burdensome and irritating. However, after having a baby lay peacefully in your arms, you made the decision—you wanted to raise one with your husband, Mike.
WC: 2.0k
Content: fluff, gender neutral reader, you two use surrogacy for your baby (hence the possibility of a gender neutral reader :3), you’re married to Mike, takes place at least 3-4 years after the events of FNAF, Abby is a working young adult, slightly ooc Mike(?)
-
You always hated babies. Always.
You hated how loud and relentless they were. How almost every second they cried and screamed for no reason, as well as the fact that they were gross, somehow always sticky, and messy. While the fact that they were literally infants gave them an excuse for this behavior, you couldn’t help but be absolutely pissed by them.
You were at a small get-together with your old friends. You haven’t seen them in a while, and you were always close with them before, so you all decided to hang out together one day and catch up with each other.
You were at your friend Andrew’s house, along with the rest of your old friends and had your husband Mike attend as well.
The small party went fairly smoothly; you had some drinks, laughed, caught up, just the usual. Everyone there already knew your husband—who was a bit awkward and quiet—so there wasn’t a need for any introductions. You, however, finally met your friend Evelyn’s girlfriend, which was a great encounter.
You sat beside Mike, his arm tenderly wrapped around your shoulder as you continued to speak with your friends.
Until suddenly, Andrew’s wife, Adalyn, came in the room frantically, with her 3-month-old baby cradled in her arms.
Oh, brother, you thought.
“Hey, uh,” she began, looking around the room until her eyes landed on you. “Oh, Y/n! Can you watch him, please? I kinda gotta go to the little girls’ room.”
Your eyes widened as you realized what she was insinuating. “Wh—Wait, why can’t you ask, like, anybody else?”
“C’mon, Y/n, it’s really urgent. It’s a bit loud here, so just, like, take him to the nursery room,” she pleaded, in which you just continued to refuse.
“But—why can’t—C’mon, Adalyn, Andrew knows how much I can’t… really tolerate babies.” You argue, standing up from the couch. “I don’t—I don’t even know how to hold one—”
“Goddammit, Y/n, here, just—” She guided your arms to make you properly hold the baby, which you were slightly unnerved by. It was way too delicate. You were afraid of this responsibility your friend put onto you. And you felt even worse because of how much you hated babies in general. “There. There, you got it. Good. Okay, I—I gotta go,” she stated quickly, kissing her baby on the forehead, then running off to the bathroom.
You rolled your eyes as you uncomfortably held the infant, looking down at Mike, who remained on the couch. There was a small smirk on his lips. He found it amusing that you were in a situation you’d loathe.
“You think this is funny?”
He shrugged with a playful expression on his face.“Comedy gold.”
You scoffed, and then heard a loud laugh come from the kitchen, only to remember how noisy the atmosphere was. And the last thing you wanted was for this damned baby to start crying.
You looked around then sighed. “I’m gonna have to take this little guy to the nursery room upstairs. You gonna be okay down here without me?”
He smiled softly, giving you a nod. “Yeah. No worries.” You leaned down to give him a peck on the lips which he reciprocated. “Good luck with him. Hey, what’d you call babies again that one time? Wasn’t it ‘hellspawn’?”
You groaned, “Just… shut up, Mike,” but you couldn’t help but let out a small chuckle.
You reached the nursery room, shutting the door so that all the voices downstairs were muffled. The baby was fairly heavy, and the staircase was pretty long, so you let out a breath of relief once you finally sat down on a wooden chair beside the baby crib.
You look down at him. Andrew and Adalyn’s baby Thomas. You stared at him with a bit of apathy and indifference, but the infant looked at you with its big, green eyes, almost longingly.
You noticed this, but you didn’t really think too much of it.
“What are you looking at?” You retort quietly.
He met you with silence.
You had him in your arms, cradled, nearly. His eyes continued to stare into yours. He was quiet, too. You couldn’t really tell what it was; curiosity, admiration, inexpressible hatred?—no, it couldn’t be.
It was definitely admiration.
“You think you’re so charming, huh?”
Silence.
“I don’t understand! What’s supposed to be so cute about you? Like, for all I know, you’re just a tiny, undeveloped… thing… person…”
More silence.
“People admire you and all you do is just… burp and cry. I seriously don’t get the appeal.”
However, your arms and your hands began to feel… tingly. You felt warmth radiating from the small baby as it proceeded to lay in your arms. You fixed your position a bit, letting it rest at an angle. Its little body was close to yours, against your chest. And then suddenly, you never felt so… at peace.
“Jesus Christ,” your voice began to become softer and quieter, “What in the damn hell are you doing to me?”
The baby’s green eyes gazed into your eyes, bright and full of adoration. It admired you. You wouldn’t be sure as to why, but it looked at you as if you were beautiful; that even while it barely knew anything at all due to its scarcely developed brain, it was sure of at least just one thing—that you were beautiful.
You felt so strangely warm inside. The orange sunset inhabited the room from the window as you continued to look at the baby in your arms. You felt safe. And you were sure that it felt safe too. And so, all you wanted to do was to keep it that way.
“Your mom shouldn’t be taking this long in the bathroom.” You paused in realization. “They totally set me up, didn’t they?” The infant just blinked at you.
You’ve always hated babies. They’re dumb, loud, and ugly.
But perhaps baby Thomas was an exception.
He was actually pretty cute, if you were going to be honest with yourself…
Babies could be pretty cute…
You never felt so… parental in your life. And for a split second, it didn’t feel like a responsibility, but rather a purpose. You wanted to keep him safe as long as he was under your care. You just wanted to stay like this for a long time. Just having him comfortably in your arms.
And you barely noticed the sound of the door opening and Adalyn and Mike stepping in because you were far too entranced in the domesticity in all of this—you finally understood why some people had baby fever.
“Y/n?” Mike’s presence didn’t even make you flinch. You were far too placid. The state you were in had Mike smitten; he never expected you to be this good, as well as peaceful, with babies.
“Just… Just a little longer with him…” You requested softly, never taking your eyes off of the baby. A love-struck grin appeared on your husband’s face as he watched you like this.
You wanted this.
And most of all, you wanted this with Mike.
***
“What was all that about?” Mike asked as you two sat on the porch outside to get space and air. “I thought you, like, hated babies, and stuff.”
“I don’t… I don’t hate them entirely,” you say under your breath.
Mike raised an eyebrow. “Yeah? You complain about them just about once every week,” he chuckles. His lighthearted manner began to fade as he notices your silence, followed by your face of longing and fidgeting fingers. “You okay?” He placed his hand on your thigh.
“Yeah, I just…” You trailed off, not knowing how to place your words. “Remember how… Abby would sometimes talk about how ‘cool’ it’d be for her to… be an auntie?” Mike nodded, listening carefully. “And, well… you know… in the past I was always against having kids… Being afraid of all that responsibility and commitment… Mostly just despising babies.”
You sighed. “Mike, I… I want us to have a baby.”
His lips parted in surprise—only because he never expected you to want this. You were always against this idea, you’ve talked about it several times in the past. If anything, he didn’t know that the ‘exposure therapy’ that Adalyn planned would’ve driven you to want a baby. “Wait. Seriously?”
You grabbed his hand, gently rubbing your thumb over the back of it. “I don’t know, I just… I think we could do it, you know… start our own little family…”
He looked at your eyes deeply, with love and care.
Mike always wanted this with you. He loved you, that was for sure. He wanted to raise a baby of his own with you, to start a family together and take his relationship with you to the next level. To say the least, he was pretty thrilled by this.
His hands immediately cupped your face to kiss you passionately, lips pressed lovingly to yours. “I would love that so much with you.” He smiled softly at you. “I love you.”
“I love you too,” you mutter before interlocking his fingers with yours and meeting his lips once more.
*** Years Later ***
She had his father’s big, brown eyes.
The process was excruciatingly costly, long, but absolutely worth it. You and Mike decided to get a surrogate so that the baby would at least have some of his DNA—otherwise, the other option was to adopt.
You were in the same position as you were years ago: sitting on a chair serenely with a baby snug in your arms.
And just like those years ago, the baby quietly looked into your eyes, lovingly and admiringly. You smiled softly, letting the state of tranquility take over.
She was your entire world. You would do anything for her.
You loved your little girl.
You press a small kiss on her soft forehead, continuing to warmly hold her to your chest as she laid across your arms, supporting her neck and bottom with your hands. It felt good, to have something so precious and innocent in your care.
Mike finally entered the room minutes after, alluding that he came back from dropping off Abby at her work. He grinned warmly, walking towards you, pressed a long, affectionate kiss on your lips, and then a kiss on his daughter’s forehead.
“Do you… think we’re gonna be good parents?” You ask restfully.
“Wait, you’re asking that now?” He raised his eyebrows.
“No, I meant… C’mon, you know what I mean,” you sigh.
“Okay, then yes. I’m sure of it,” he asserted. “You’re gonna be an amazing parent for her, Y/n. We’re going to be amazing parents for her. I’ll do everything I can for her.”
Mike learned about taking care of babies at a very young age because of Abby. So it wouldn’t be too difficult to do it a second time, especially now that he would have you to help. He wanted to make sure that his new daughter would have a better childhood than he had, and he knew he would be extra cautious to ensure that nothing would ever take her away from him. Ever since Garrett, he promised himself to never let that happen to anyone ever again. And you would always assure him that he could keep it.
You look at your husband—the father of your child—dotingly. “I love you so much, Mike.”
“I love you too, baby,” he says before pressing his lips to yours once more.
Then, a soothing beat.
“She has your eyes,” you murmured softly. It was a well-known fact. You both have known this ever since she was brought into this world—it was actually the first thing you two noticed about her. The rich, brown irises that Mike possessed was passed down to your daughter. And while none of your features could be passed down to her, it didn’t matter at all to you. She was still yours. Yours and Mike’s. And you were going to raise her together.
She had her father’s eyes.
And Mike never got tired of being reminded of it, especially by you.
“Yeah… I know.”

You were both hired about a week ago, you still haven't gotten used to your new sleep schedule but you did manage to get up. Only a few minutes late.
Surprised that you woke up early today, you had gotten ready eaten breakfast and drove off for work.
It was obvious you were going to be getting there earlier than Mike, so you decided to look around the pizzeria for some cleaning utilities. You did find them in a closet near the end of the hall.
You grabbed what you needed and got to work, starting in the bathrooms would be a bad idea so you decided to stroll near the front of the run down restaurant.
It took you about 10 minutes to move all of the furniture, stacking the children chairs in a corner and pick up the loose trash off of the dirty carpets.
You had music blasting and hadn't noticed Mike had entered through the double glass doors. He was nervously standing there not knowing what to do, he decided to tap on your shoulder.
That quite obviously scared the living shit out of you, whipping your body around and your shirt and vest hiked up your body a bit.
You had giggled lightly and picked up remaining trash beind you on the danty carpet, you heard Mike shift a little bit behind you. Weird...
"Scared the fuck out of me, Mike!" You laughed out
He rested his right hand behind the nape of his neck while awkwardly stuttering.
"Uhh, I-I'll just g-go to the, uhm.." Mike was clearly struggling
"Office?"
"Yeah, that.."
You told him that you wanted to stay out here and clean around the place because of how gross it was and how it was making your dust allergy kick in.
Mike just nodded in response and walked swiftly away to the shared office you both had, he was kind of relieved that you weren't watching cameras.
He would get the worst aching boner because of you. Mike would become so desperate that he would be clenching the armrests of his chair.
Besides that he was not as overwhelmed as much, that was good, he just sat there and watched the cameras. Checking on the animatronics and something else...
Job wise, you and him were good colleagues. You both have respect for each other and respect boundaries. But he wanted to cross the line, he wanted to see how far you could go without overdoing it.
Mike would have to shift himself in his pants everytime you would bend over to grab something. You broke something in him, he was getting needier the more you both came to work.
You had just finished cleaning the dining area and moved onto the stage where the main 3 were. Opening the curtains manually and shining your flashlight in to see what you were working with.
That didn't matter to Mike, what mattered was how you looked when you had the bottom half of your body hanging off the edge of the duty stage while the top was laying down trying to dust best as possible without stepping onto the stage.
That's when he broke, in that exact moment. 'What if- I could be quick, right, she won't know..' Mike told himself.
He focused onto the old beat up camera screen while palming himself through his jeans, he used the back of his other hand to muffle his deep groans that came out of him.
Mike was extremely focused on you, he unbuckled his belt and pulled his pants and boxers to the end of his thigh. Precum was dripping mini droplets from the slit on the top of his pretty red tip.
He slowly started to palm himself, making sure not to be to loud, Mike took his time and played with his slit and continued to lather precum on his whole length.
Mike ruffled his hair back while he picked his pace up a bit, he let his head hang back while he lolled his tongue out a little. (Futureman reference)
He nearly came when he saw that you had dropped something under a table and had to get on all fours to try and reach for it. Your ass sticking out from behind you.
Mike whimpered from the way you moved, you had taken your vest off and had a black tank top on that made your tits almost spill out when you walked.
He thrusted into his hand and started to moan a little but not to loud, as he was cautious so you wouldn't find out.
Mike's cock was twitching, that was telling him that he was getting closer to his release.
"Fuckkk, {Y/n}-" he groaned
Then the coil in him snapped apart, he came. There's was a lot rolling down his knuckles, his bare thighs, and some splatters got onto the camera screens.
His chest was heaving heavily, soft whispers of your name could be heard from his mouth. Mike reached for his tissues and cleaned himself along with whatever was hit.
Right after Mike threw the last of the mess away into the trash, you entered the room. Also breathing heavily, from the cleaning of course. He fixed his clothing and sat back down onto the chair, manspreading.
This man did wonders on you, but he was so oblivious that it was cute. But when he did that pose. Oh it went straight down to your core, making your walls flutter with excitement.
But you couldn't just take your bottom of right there and spread your legs open and start fingering yourself while playing with your-
You just couldn't, you didn't even know him like that. So you just had to wait, the last of the 4 hours of your shift. Tonight was going to be long..
You would both awkwardly stand there and not utter a word, you noticed that Mike had extremely heavy eyebags.
"Hey, if your tired, you could sleep..I could take over.." you uttered cautiously
His eyes lit up, he nodded a yes and moved to where you were sitting and switched spots. Throwing yourself onto the office chair.
Looking at the cameras seeing that nothing was wrong, you peered over your shoulder to see a beautiful man sleeping before you. I mean, you could?
"Fuck it.." you mumbled barely over a whisper
You didn't want to take all of your clothes off so you came up with a better plan.
While slipping your hand into your pants, teasing yourself through your panties. Glancing from the old cameras to Mike's sleeping body.
You used your hand to grip the armrest part of the chair, getting a bit frustrating. You slipped your delicate fingers past your panties.
Circling your clit and picking up your slick from your needy hole to lather over your throbbing clit. You let out a huff but quickly silenced yourself once you saw that Mike started to stir.
But that didn't mean you were stopping, putting more pressure onto your clit made you gasp. That wasn't even enough.
You picked your pace up and started to slip two fingers into your gaping hole, the silence was loud only to be interrupted by the slick noises of your throbbing cunt.
"Shiiiit- Mike-" you loudly whispered
You started to finger yourself faster and used your palm to rub your clit. This got you closer, making you let out little ah ah ah's every time you slipped in and out.
That's when you burst, your thighs were shaky and your cum was covering your panties and hand. You got up quietly and rushed to the bathroom to wash your hands. And you came back to continue your shift.
And soon it reached 6 AM, you gently woke Mike up.
"What is it?" He groggliy asked
He must've forgotten we were at work.. you thought
"Mike, our shift just ended, we can go home now." You told while putting your jacket on and gathering your belongings.
He mouthed an oh and got up to grab his stuff. You both got out of the pizzeria and Mike locked up, that was because you couldn't trust yourself with keys whatsoever.
You lived a few houses down from Mike which wasn't bad, if him needed anything he would probably come to you first.
Before Mike got into his car you called his name.
"Hey, uhh, do you want to come over for dinner tomorrow night? I was told that we don't have a shift until next week.." you shyly asked
"Uhm, yeah!"
"Oh, also, you can bring Abby!" You happily smiled at him before getting into your car.
And with that, you drove off back to your house. Heart beating rapidly from inviting your coworker over to your house for dinner.
You had no idea what to cook, but then it hit you. You've babysat Abby before, and you knew what food she liked the most. Spaghetti and pizza.
So you got to work, you obviously made the pizza a day before because making homemade pizza dough takes hours to rise. So you didn't want to rush anything.
After an hour or so, you had left the dough in a bowl with plastic wrap on the top to let it rise. And so with that, you went to take a nap.
You woke up around 4 PM, you kind of forgot what time to tell Mike to come over. So you called him.
Ring!
Ring!
Ring!
He finally answered and asked who this was.
"Hey, it's {Y/n} I forgot to tell you what time to come, for, you know, dinner.."
"Anyway, I was thinking 5:30?" You continued
His side of the line went a bit silent.
"Yeah, sounds great. Me and Abby will be there in awhile.." his raspy voice coughed out
You both said your goodbyes and you went straight to the kitchen. Having to make the spaghetti, doesn't seem hard. So you finished that within an hour and set the table as best you could.
You waited in the living room until you heard a knock on your door. Must be them! You thought.
You shuffled to put a jacket on while stumbling to the foyer. You fixed your hair a bit and opened the door.
"Heyy, come on in you guys!" You warmly smiled at Abby and Mike.
Abby rushed in and hugged you by your waist, you happily sighed and hugged her back. Mike just awkwardly stood there and waited.
You let Abby go and took Mike's hand to lead him through your house while Abby let herself in and excitedly explored.
Mike reminded her not to be as nosy at home and not to break anything. You giggled a little from the sibling interactions that they had.
Once all three of you got into your kitchen you showed them to the made dining table. You never saw Abby so happy, she sat down and beckoned for you and Mike to come over.
You both sat down and made plates, after about an hour. Abby was sitting on the living room floor while she watched TV. You and Mike were observing from afar.
"She's so cute, I wish I had my own kid.." you sighed
Out of the corner of your eye you saw Mike flush a tint of red on his cheeks, while scratching the nape of his neck.
Don't say it. Don't say it. He told himself.
"Well, what if...what if I gave you one?" He stuttered a bit but had some confidence in him.
Your eyes widened but soon turned into a soft smile.
"I would love that, Mike.." you said while resting your arms on his shoulders
"Oh!" His voice was above a whisper
You gave him a quick kiss on the lips and walked toward Abby. Leaving Mike all hot and bothered.
"Hey Abs, do you have school tomorrow?" You kindly asked while resting your hands on your knees.
She shook her head.
"I was thinking, what would you think of a sleep over at my house tonight?" You told her
She jumped up and hugged you while thanking you and asking where she would sleep.
You lead her to a guest room and let her choose a pillow and blanket to use, she smiled and got her bed ready.
"If you want, you can continue watching TV until 12 PM." You smiled
She thanked you again and ran off down stairs. Leaving you and Mike alone, you had brought him to your room.
"So, about that baby you were going to give me..." you inquired
He turned beet red, reenacting what he had said to you earlier. Mike's expression softened and he sat on the edge of your bed while holding your left hip and your cheek.
Mike nodded and pulled you into a kiss, it was sloppy but needy. He pulled you onto his lap and pulled on your hair so it made him look down at you.
You moaned into his mouth from the pressure, he smiled against your lips. Moving down to your neck leaving hickeys where he wanted them. Mike obviously made sure to lock your bedroom door before he sat down.
Mike tugged at the hem of your shirt, pulling it over you head showing that you hadn't worn any sort of bra, he whimpered at the sight of you bare.
Just for him, his good girl. And his only good girl.
Mike attached his wet lips to one of your plump breast. He sucked and gave it kitten licks. His actions as of now made your head roll back as you started to roll your hips on his clothed dick.
He bit lightly onto your harden nipple to see your reaction and oh did he get one. You pushed Mike's head further into your chest, unlocking something in him.
He sucked a little harder and thrusted his hips up to meet your low grinding. Groaning into your breasts sending sensational waves through you.
Mike could spend hours touching your tits, just squishing them or giving them little kisses is his go to when he's with you almost all the time.
As of right now, all he wanted to do was give you pleasure and so he did. Mike looked up at you through his half lidded eyes and licked a strip from the bottom to the top of your boobs.
Throwing your head back and babbling incoherent words under your breath.
"Mikey, please! I need it, right now! Please, I'll be a good girl!"
He loved the little nickname Mikey. It sends butterflies straight to his stomach, wanting- needing you.
That was it, he couldn't take it anymore. He struggled a little to get all of his clothing items off but he was soon bare and he ripped your shorts and panties along with one swift movement of his hands.
Mike loved how you were wet for him, making his cock's tip was already leaking with his pretty precum.
Giving himself a few strokes making him twitch in his own hand. Mike let go and positioned you so your head was on a pillow and put another pillow under your lower back.
"Alright baby, are you ready? It might hurt, its okay." Mike whispered beautiful nothings into your ear.
"Gonna start with the tip, okay darlin'?" Fuck, he was doing a number on you with his voice.
Mike swiped his cock head along your folds, making you huff out in sexual frustration.
"Deep breath in..." he muttered loud enough for you to understand before slowly rutting his tip into you.
The head was tugging on your cunt, his praise made your pussy to become slick with your juices.
"I'm gonna go slow, okay my love?" You only nodded in response and waited
It was abrupt, it stung but it felt so fucking good. Mike had only made it a little bit more than halfway before you started to nudge closer to him so he could bottom out.
"Aww, little whore wants more? I'll give you more you fucking slut-" he grunted while thrusting his hips into you entirely.
Arching your back off of the bed and nearly loosing your eyesight from rolling your eyes to the back of your head. Mike chuckled lightly while slowly rolling his hips, in and out of your sopping cunt.
"Thought you wanted it sweetheart?" He teased
He grabbed the back of your thighs and pushed them a little, getting the perfect view of how your needy pussy was taking him. Mike soon lifted your right leg onto his shoulder while the other planted into the mattress.
Mike picked his pace up a bit and started to feel a knot forming in his stomach, as he moved faster and faster until he couldn't move any faster. He grew bored of the position you were in so he gripped the back sides of both of your thighs and moved up and rested your knees on either side of your head.
Eye widening that you were capable of folding like that, not complaining. He continued to fuck his cock into your puffy cunt. You tightened your walls around him.
"Fuucckkk, this pussy is just milkin' me isn't it?" He grunted
You were close, it was obvious because you let little ah's out and your breathing became uneven. Your thighs were trembling a little.
"Gonna be a good girl and let me cum in you?" His grunts became his breath sharpening through his gritted teeth.
You nodded aggressively, giving him the go. It only took a few more pumps until you clenched around him, having your eyes roll back while whispering his name incoherently.
Mike came right after, filling your pretty pussy with his hot seed. He pulled out and saw how your cunt clenched around nothing and his cum spilling out.
He sighed and got up to the connected bathroom of your room and got a damp towel to clean you both up before he gathered a new pair of clothing and dressed you and himself.
Cuddling up, spooning you and letting out a satisfied sigh.
"Did s' good for me, princess.." he mumbled while nearly drifting off.
Rubbing small circles on your shoulder.
"I love you {Y/n}, I always have." Mike gave a quick kiss on your cheek before dozing off while warmly wrapping around you like a love letter.

Mike Schmidt jealousy headcanons !
Pairing(s): Mike Schmidt x Gn!Reader (established relationship)
Note! Has some plot | This is my Jealousy headcannons for movie Mike, stating this because I just might make video game Michael Afton headcannons aswell in the near future
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Mike Schmidt relationship Headcanons !
If the two of you are together best believe it’s because of the trust, loyalty and strong bond between you guys.
So to say that Mike trusts you would be an understatement.
However, he can’t help but feel the jealousy seeping into him as he watches you laugh with some random person.
He tries his best not to be and most times it’s effective.
And honestly the majority of times where you’d be eating out on a date, he’d just keep calm and shake it off
Especially if you show blatant disinterest and reject them right then and there.
But like all people, he’s experienced jealousy
At first he himself didn’t even realize it
Abby did.
After Mike got fired, he was able to somehow be unbanned from the mall and had started taking abby there when he could.
Mainly cuz there was a crafts store she absolutely adored)
He and Abby were crossing into the food court section and he had a drink in hand.
Well Abby pointed you out in the distance talking to some rando, and he saw you laughing and playfully shoving the person.
He had been so busy looking at you that when Abby’s urgent yelling brought him back he realized he spilt the drink.
the drink had spilled everywhere.
He squeezed it too hard.
Once he snapped out of it and cleaned it up he decided it’d be time to head back.
When you finally arrive at the house mike is no where in sight, but Abby is.
Once she hugs you and welcomes you home she sits you down and starts going through her day with you.
After she brushed off that mike was in the restroom)
Midway her story she mentioned how she and mike saw you at the mall and told the story of his jealousy.
You were honestly surprised
Like home dude never seemed the jealous type so pretty shocking.
Once you send Abby back to her room you go pass the vacant restroom and went for his room.
Once you sat down you asked about it and although embarrassed, he admitted to feeling a bit jealous.
Definitely needs reassurance and that’s done by cuddling and being there for him during the night.
Of course other instances regarding jealousy occurs.
And a situation like this is when you’re at Abby’s school talking with this other teacher who had walked into the picture and became an assistant/tutor.
You were talking and although your relationship was obvious to everyone at the school this teacher decided to make a move.
Most times hes a bit more stand off ish when facing a situation like this.
If anything it’s just awkward for him and he doesn’t know where to put his hands.
But when the teacher looks at him and smirks he almost jumps that goddamn teacher right then and there.
Needs to be calmed down and he goes out of the room to do just that.
Then feels better when you go out to reassure him too.
My point here is that he does get jealous but it’s never in a very obvious way.
Most times he doesn’t do anything and lets you handle it.
But he’ll have his jealous moments.
If this isn’t something you like about him, then he tries to improve his jealousy.
If you’re really jealous too and got upset that he wouldn’t seem as jealous as you.
You’re in for a surprise.
If anything he didn’t want to make it an issue but he’ll definitely try to communicate with you.
Even if it’s very constipated communication and a bit difficult for him to express.
If you’re the teasing type when someone is jealous
Don’t.
I mean sure, sometimes the teasing could be good to bring up the mood.
But most times his jealousy comes up is in serious conversation.
If anything it’d seem like you’re making fun of him.
All I can say is
Communication 👏👏👏👏
Btw
If you ever decide to make him jealous on purpose
No, just no.

mike bf request :>
abby and reader having a girls day talking about boys and it being super cute! and mike being annoyed about all this he doesnt want abby to grow up it makes him upset she’s starting to find interest in boys in her class 😞🙈
this request is so cute, i'm obsessed! bf mike >>>
"oh yeah?" you tease gently, looking up from your drawing. "what's his name?"
"luke!" abby admits, excited but somewhat embarrassed. "he's really nice! he shared his halloween candy with me last week!"
you had been dating mike for about two months, but you had been babysitting abby for many more. in the months you had known her, the two of you had grown really close; and on this particular day, when the both of you were hunched over the living room coffee table, drawing and watching her favorite cartoon, she admitted she had a crush on a boy from her school.
you thought it was really cute, and you felt ever-so-slightly proud that you were the first person she told. mike was sitting at the dining table and, unbeknownst to you, listening to the conversation. you didn't realize he was upset until you got up to get a glass of water and saw him with his eyebrows furrowed and arms crossed.
"you good, mike?" you asked after taking a sip.
"yeah." he huffed out. you love mike with all your heart, but he is quite possibly the least subtle person you know.
"c'mon, what's up?" you take a seat next to him at the table. he sighs heavily, before explaining:
"i just think she's too young for all this boyfriend-girlfriend stuff. after all we've been through? after all she's been through? i don't know, I just-I just don't think she should be worrying about that stuff." you smiled softly, finding his concern really sweet. one of the things that you found most attractive about mike was how well he treated his little sister, especially after everything that happened at the pizzeria.
"well, i can assure you she's not worried about anything. she just thinks he's cute, which is totally normal for a girl her age! i started having crushes around that age too, it's really no big deal. you don't need to worry so much, mike, she's smart enough to know how to deal with this stuff."
he contemplated for a second, absorbing your words before the tension in his forehead and eyebrows melted.
"yeah...yeah, I guess you're right. sorry, i just don't want her growing up so fast. sometimes i wish i could put a brick on her head to stop her from growing." you both let out an airy giggle.
"yeah, me too. but she'll always be your little sister, whether she likes it or not."
"yeah," he replied, watching abby draw in the distance. "yeah, she'll always be my little sister."

Fill the Void
Tumblr media
[Mike Schmidt x Female!Reader]
Synopsis: You didn’t know what you were more terrified of. Ruining the relationship between the man you secretly loved, or the presence of his little sister who seemed to despise you.
WC: 2,818
Category: Lime/Steamy, Slight Angst
Omg, I need to stop writing him. It’s such an obsession at this point.
『••✎••』
Mike was kissing you, like actually kissing you. His hands were on your hips, pulling you closer, while yours were in his hair. His eyes, those pleading eyes, were looking up at you with such passion, such longing that it made you weak at the knees. You could see the way the Adam's apple in his throat bobbed as he swallowed, his jaw clenching tightly as he took in a deep breath. His lips were slightly parted, inviting you to kiss him again and again.
You still didn't understand how this happened. You were trying to calm him down after a fight that happened the day before. He had gotten into a shouting match with his sister about how she treated you, and then it all escalated. It was a huge argument, with a lot of hurtful things said. It ended with Mike slamming his fist against the wall and Abby storming out of the room. You had spent the entire day trying to get him to talk to you, to talk to her. You tried to get him to apologize for what he said because you knew deep down he didn't mean any of it. He had just been so stressed, so angry, that he wasn't thinking straight.
So, there you were the next day, sitting on your bed with Mike as he ranted to you about practically everything. He talked about how he couldn't stand how Abby treated you and that it made him feel sick to his stomach. He told you that he couldn't stand to see the way that she would look at you like she was disgusted by the mere fact that you were around. He didn't like how she talked down to you like you were a kid or how she treated you like you didn't have any thoughts of your own.
And that was when it happened. You tried to reason with him, to calm him down, and that's when you first felt it. You felt the spark in the air, you saw the way his pupils dilated, and you felt the way his skin felt warm under your fingertips.
You had to admit it. You were so scared. You liked Mike, you really did. You liked the way he would protect you, the way he would make sure you were okay even though you weren't technically his family; you were just a friend who lived next door. You liked how he made you laugh, how he could always make you smile and brighten your day. You liked how he would take your hand when you were scared and comfort you with soft whispers.
You liked him a lot, and that terrified you.
You never really talked to anyone about how you felt about Mike. You never even mentioned it to him, even if it was on the tip of your tongue every time you looked at him. He had always told you he thought of you as family, but you weren't sure he meant it in the same way that you did. You were worried if you brought up the subject of you and him, it would ruin everything, that he wouldn't feel the same way about you. You were scared to ruin this friendship that you two had. It was a friendship you cherished and valued more than anything.
That was why you were so shocked when Mike was the one who brought up the subject. He looked into your eyes, and you knew he could see it all. He could see the way you felt, the way your heart pounded at the mere thought of him, and the way you had a hard time catching your breath when you saw him. And instead of shying away, turning bright red, and leaving the room, he got closer to you. He brushed his lips against yours, and you knew there was no turning back. You knew you were a goner, you were so screwed, and you couldn't bring yourself to care.
You deepened the kiss, pressing yourself against him as he maneuvered your body around so he was looking up at you instead of down. Your fingers slid along his cheeks, going into his hair, tugging slightly at the strands. Your eyes fluttered shut as he kissed you over and over. Your head was spinning, and it was all so overwhelming that you couldn't focus on anything. All you could do was kiss him back with everything you had, feeling the way his hands trailed up your sides, pushing your shirt up.
God, it felt so right. This felt so perfect. You never wanted it to end. You wanted to stay at this moment forever. You wanted to freeze time, to stop the moment before anything could ruin it. You wanted to stop and relish in the way his lips felt against yours, how his hands felt against your skin. You wanted to remember how he looked, with his eyes closed as you kissed him. You wanted to remember how he tasted, sweet and addictive. You wanted to remember the feeling of his heart beating, of the way it pounded against his chest, of the way it matched your own. You wanted to remember the way he smelled and the way he sounded when you tugged at his hair, making him groan quietly.
You wanted to remember everything, a reminder that this was real. This wasn't some dream or a fantasy. This was reality. It was real, and you wanted to savor it while you still could.
Unfortunately, Mike was only a human, and he needed air. He pulled away, but only for a moment. He leaned his forehead against yours, and you took in a deep breath, trying to calm your racing heart. You could still taste him on your lips, and you felt like you were on cloud nine. It was so perfect, so perfect that it almost scared you.
You didn't know what to say; you were completely speechless. You didn't know how to process this. You just sat there, staring into his eyes, taking in everything about him. You didn't want to ruin the moment. You didn't want to do anything to mess this up. You were scared of what would happen next; you were scared to ask.
Mike sensed your hesitation, and his lips pulled into a smile. He pushed your hair out of your face, letting his thumb trace along your jaw.
"It's okay," he said in a low whisper, his voice almost husky. "I feel it, too."
Those three words. He had said those words to you before. It had been in a different situation, but it was something similar, something you remembered vividly. That time, he meant it as family. This time, you knew he meant it differently. You weren't just friends with him anymore. You were something more.
He leaned in, kissing you again, but this time, it was different. This time, you felt more than you did before. You felt like there were fireworks behind your eyes, and sparks were running through your body. You felt like your heart was on the verge of bursting as he kissed you, and your stomach filled with butterflies. You felt like you were falling, but you also felt like you were flying. It was the most amazing feeling ever, and you wanted to feel it over and over again.
But, sadly, all good things come to an end. Mike practically ripped himself away from you in an instant, and you blinked in confusion as he peeked around you. His eyebrows furrowed, and he side-eyed you before glancing back again.
You looked at him, wondering what was going on, until you heard a creak of the floorboards, and your blood ran cold. Mike's eyes snapped toward his watch, and you noticed how his concern shifted to confusion before softly getting up from under you. He brushed himself off, giving you a sheepish smile before clearing his throat.
"Abby?" he called out, sounding as sweet as ever, as he crossed the room and looked down the hallway. "What are... It's eleven, Abs! Why aren't you at school? I'm not supposed to get you for another hour and a half!"
You scrambled off of your bed, feeling your face flush as you made your way over to Mike, trying to catch your breath. You could hear the sounds of her footsteps coming up closer, and you pushed yourself against Mike's chest as if to hide behind him. You didn't want her to see you, not yet, not after everything that just happened between the two of them the day before.
"I had to walk home," she said in a sullen tone as she made her way towards the two of you. She didn't seem to notice you yet. "Why didn't you pick me up?"
"What're you talking about?" he asked, his confusion only growing. You peeked over his shoulder and saw how she stood there, arms crossed and glaring at Mike. "I told you I'd pick you up at noon."
"What are you talking about? It is noon!" she argued back. "Maybe you should be paying more attention to your watch."
At that, Mike squinted his eyes before rushing back into the room, leaving you without protection from her angry eyes. She noticed you rather immediately, and she seemed to be taken aback for a moment.
"What are you doing here?" she asked, her voice low as she glared at you. You thought the most terrifying moment would be her finding out about the situation, but this was almost worse in terms of reactions. She looked like she could kill you in an instant, and she had no clue what was going on between the two of you.
You had a stare-down with her before turning your head towards the loud noise coming from the room. Mike had a hand to his hair, and he looked about ready to rip it all out.
"The time change!" he yelled in realization, and you thought that was the end of that. You could see how his eyes shifted from you to his watch and then to his sister, and he seemed to finally put the pieces together. "Oh... I'm so stupid. I'm so sorry, Abs, I didn't-"
"It's fine," she interrupted, and you could see her composure shifting as though she were trying to be calmer. "It's no big deal. I guess you were too busy with... uh... well..."
She glanced over at you for a split second, and you wanted the ground to open up and swallow you whole. This was so awkward. You felt like you were going to throw up. How can a ten-year-old girl with a staring problem be this intimidating?
"Abs, don't start this again," Mike warned, giving her an annoyed glare. You thought maybe it would work this time. Maybe he would convince her to drop this subject. You were wrong.
"Again?" she repeated, cocking her head to the side and giving him a look of disbelief. "What am I doing?"
"This!" Mike said in frustration, pointing to her as though it would make her understand. "You're doing this!"
She seemed to ignore his statement, and you had a sinking feeling that she did it on purpose. "I'm sorry, did I interrupt something? Is there a reason why you're in my brother's room?"
"Oh my God," he mumbled under his breath, and you swore you could hear his eyeballs rolling back into his head. He then let out a loud groan and threw his hands into the air. "Can we just... I don't know. Maybe just talk about this later. Okay? I need to finish getting ready for work and-"
"Fine!" she hissed before stomping back down the hall, back down the stairs, and slamming the door shut behind her.
Mike let out a deep sigh as he plopped himself down on the bed. He dropped his head back and ran his fingers through his hair, letting out another sigh. You could only stand there awkwardly before slowly making your way to him, sitting beside him, and placing a hand on his shoulder. You tried to offer him some comfort, some sympathy for what was going on with the two of them.
"You okay?" you asked him softly, and he looked up at you. You could see the exhaustion on his face, but there was still something else there. You could see it in the way his eyebrows were furrowed and how his jaw was clenched. You could see it in his eyes. He had something else going on in that big brain of his.
"I don't know why she's acting like this. She doesn't hate you, I know she doesn't, she's just..."
He trailed off, and you got the hint that he wanted you to ask. You swallowed the lump in your throat before speaking. "She's just what?"
"I don't know," he repeated. "She used to beg me to invite you over, and now... I don't… It's like she's got some vendetta against you. I don't get it."
"Well," you started, trying to ease him into this conversation as much as you could. "I mean... Maybe she's just missing you? I know how close you two are."
"No, that's not it. She knows that I'm always going to put her first and that she's the most important thing to me, so she doesn't need to feel like that's changing. I'm still going to be her big brother, and I'm still going to love her and take care of her. I just have you in my life now, too, so... Oh. That's why..."
You nodded slowly, trying to tell him with your eyes that he was right on the money.
"Shit, I've been such a jerk to her," he sighed, closing his eyes tightly for a moment before rubbing them with his fingers. "I just get so stressed about everything, and I get mad. She's my sister; she's the most important thing to me, and I've been... I haven't been a good big brother to her lately."
"It's okay, Mike, really," you tried to tell him, placing your hand on his back and rubbing it in small circles. "You just have to talk to her about it. Preferably, when I'm not here."
"Yeah, no kidding," he snorted, shaking his head. "I just... I don't know what to do. I don't know how to talk to her. She's so good at this, you know? She gets under my skin so easily, and I can never really tell what I should be doing with her."
"I'm sure she feels the same way. She's just stressed out, too," you offered, trying to sound as sweet as possible to cheer him up. It didn't seem like it worked.
"Yeah, I know," he muttered. "I guess we'll just have to... Wait, what time is it?"
You glanced at your watch, seeing that it was half past noon. He jumped up off the bed, his eyes widening.
"Oh, shit," he hissed, running to the door. "I'm supposed to be at work by now."
"You really are just out of your mind today, huh?" you laughed, shaking your head in amusement as you watched him scramble around his room, getting ready for work.
He seemed to completely ignore your statement and continued on his frantic rampage to grab his necessities. Once he was ready, he shot you a glance, and you knew you had to get moving, too. He had already gotten you fired once, and you didn't want it to happen again.
"I'll catch you later, okay? I'll talk to Abby tonight and hopefully get some answers," he promised. You smiled at him as he leaned in, kissing you one more time. You stood there as he opened the door to leave, but then he stopped in his tracks and turned around, giving you a serious look. "If you don't want to... you know, Max's number is on the fridge. It's always there for emergencies or anything else. I know she'd be more than happy to watch Abby—even though I can barely pay her anymore."
"It's okay, Mike," you said with a smile. "Go to work. I'll figure something out."
With a quick nod, he left, closing the door behind him.
You thought about calling Max, but you decided against it. If you and Mike were going to have any chance at a relationship, then you knew you had to face Abby sooner or later. You might save the conversation for Mike and her to have, but that didn't mean you couldn't start proving that you weren't just some stranger who came into his life to steal him away.
You were going to make Abby see that not only you were worthy of being around her brother, but you were also worthy of being around her, too.
