Finally completing Book 6 of Twst and once again I'm back on the train thinking about the under utilized fact that Yuu/MC supposedly has 0 magic

Personally still open to the idea that they do in fact have some kind of dormant underlying magic hence how they got taken to NRC in the first place but whether they do or not at the is point in time as far plot is concerned they don't.

So being that they have 0 magic in any capacity, I almost feel like their should have been more, some kind of consequence or something with them going to the Isle of Woe. Now I'm not saying they need to end up life or death scenario or critically injured but something, maybe use the fact that having no magic at all we/they can sneak past the Ferrymen as they don't register us as a threat (if take any notice at all)

Having no magic to take seeing that Azul and Riddle alone were affected by being to close to those doors to the underworld, and then you know what happened with Vil. Depending where we/they were in all this how would or what if that have a really bad affect on us. With no Mana to drain it can literally sap at the life force or something.

At the very least with all the crazy stuff going on I think an interesting twist if you will could be only upon returning home does it become known realized that Yuu/MC has indeed sustained some kind of injured, aren't quite as unscathed as every one assumed.

They've just been hiding it keeping it to themselves the whole time cause well got bigger fish to fry right now, and is only upon Malleus commenting on our well being that the truth comes out.

While on one hand yes they're in better shape then some of our friends (especially poor Vil) but also actually have been running around kinda injured this whole time- like maybe it's something that actually happens early with the odd line hinting at something going on with us/dear protag-kun now and then but with everything else going on plot wise it's also easily brushed aside.

Which I suppose given how much Malleus seems to have become fond of us/Yuu also adds to Lilia's little spiel talking about how fragile 'Children of Men are' and all that, thus more fuel to Malleus growing dilemma for book 7.

Sure maybe it wasn't anything to bad but the thought that he could have lost them?

Plus idk maybe serves as a little reminder to everyone else that although Yuu is clearly willing to go headlong into danger for their friends, unlike everyone else. They. Do. Not. Have. Magic! They don't have the same ability to defend or protect ourselves and how damn lucky it is that they managed to survive.

Now I'm curious about something 🤔 Reblog this and put in the tags or comments what ideas or concepts did you scrap for your OC's lore/backstory.

I know an OC's background isn't always going to be consistent or concrete and that's fine! But do you ever have ideas that you either A) didn't have time to work on, B) found too complex to incorporate into their lore, or C) feel like it just didn't fit in based on the standards of whatever universe (canon or original) your OC is in? Or perhaps a secret fourth option, I dunno!

#Hehe I'll start ofc beware the tags are lengthy and plenty hehehe #But as far as I remember I had a bunch of convoluted ideas for Madison's background #The most notable one being that she was an android who had a human soul trapped inside her and was such when she came into the events of SDC #Died at a very young age from an accident that had her in the hospital but her father managed to somehow scrounge up the core of her soul #Said soul was then booted up into an empty android which then became sentient #BUT limited in its physical features since it was the 70-80s and that her father worked in some hidden department in the government #Her father brought 'her' home and her mother grew suspicious of how different her daughter has been acting-#-Unaware that her body is actually gone and all that is left of her is her soul and memories #I was also going to incorporate some concept of a time loop but like a long loop if it makes sense?#Like a week loop of how the 'android' Madison is brought home and her mother and brother are suspicious #Said mother and brother are horrified knowing that she is no longer who she was because all that she *is* left is her soul...#am i making sense SJDKKSKDKS probably not but the huge inspiration for this idea comes from the indie game Mothered which i LOVED #you should defo try watching an LP of it!!#The plot revolves around the MC's soul and her family and the terrible but sad fate that the mother has to go through-#-to keep seeing her daughter be forced into the vessel of an android and live with them #even when they know that their daughter will never be the same again #I still kept the aspect of angst within the family but translated it through a more digestible concept #(at least I hope it is when I share more of it with posts in the future ( ´Д｀)=3)#I also wanted to use aspects of amnesia where Madison gets complacent into living with her mother as an android-#-bc as soon as she finds out that she is no longer who she is the system inside the android tries to erase said memories #And that she'll only regain them when she finds that her biological name isn't Madison but is actually Rhonda #NDKDKSKD LIKE THATS A WEIRD EXPLANATION where I got more of that inspo from a song by The Scary Jokes but eh!!#The amnesia and soul explanation plot just doesn't work for me!#ALSO i got inspired by the jojo fangame 7SU and wanted to incorporate the concept of the time loop too-#-with how in one universe we get the canon ending and in another universe after pucci resets the world #so Madison have more knowledge on what's going to happen to the crusaders #and manages to save all or most of them #Too convoluted and honestly not as fun to think about if anything it stays as a fun scrapped idea #Luckily i figured out a way to make it somewhat easier to achieve that 'everyone lives-no one dies' scenario in my lore now wahoo 🕺💃#sorry for the typos and grammar errors just correct them in your head lolol

#random thoughts #dream daddy #first thing immediately making brian fatter. maybe getting rid of his beard to give him a double chin. making him hairier everywhere else #also maybe making him an amputee. he had an accident while doing some woodworking and lost his left arm #or maybe ill make him a lower leg amputee? because he's fat and that has some unique challenges #robert's missing a finger and he changes the story on how he lost it every time #he also got shot once in the shoulder #craig's also an amputee! definitely lower leg because i want him to have one of those sportsy prosthetics #he has a wild story about it that the mc was there for #college shenanigans and whatnot #might make damien have a prosthetic eye? or an arm because i think he'd have a LOT to say about victorian prosthetics #god why am i giving them all physical disabilities. i was just thinking earlier about how it'd be neat if one of them were in a wheelchair #cuz the daddies are very performatively diverse otherwise #who would even be in a wheelchair. i think it'd be damien for periods of time #he'd have an authentic victorian one and also a normal one #he also uses a cane. hugo also uses a cane but a less cool one #hugo got a wrestling injury that acts up sometimes #matt gives off migraine energy. chronic pain haver even though he doesn't 'technically' have anything wrong with him #anyway!!! what fucking race is everyone i was thinking about this earlier #is robert white.#cuz like brian and joseph are both solidly in the white category #matt is black and carmensita is a spanish name soooo. dominican? columbian? i'm going with venezuela #cuz the guy who sang carmensita is american-venezuelan #i vaguely remember hugo having some comment on racial insensitivity during the wrestling date but god i just cannot remember #robert's grandparents were all different races and ethnicities and he's not particularly involved in any of their cultures #his wife was italian tho #joseph can trace his ancestry all the way back to the mayflower #mary and damien are siblings and descended from german immigrants #brian's grandparents were norwegian #robert has bipolar disorder btw. he's usually in a state of mixed mania instead of having highs and lows

there's such a difference my own internal reaction to thinking 'ik's just some kid' and 'zhaoxi's just some guy' that i kinda gotta type it out sgdhsj

like. with ik it means so much. she's just some kid, she's perfectly ordinary, but she's been through so much that she doesn't deserve. she's just some kid but somehow she changes these demons' lives in such a short time because she is ik and ik is kind. most of all she DESERVES to just be SOME KID who can live care freely and just have fun

but then with zhaoxi it's just that. he is just some guy and thats all there is to it dhgdhd

also i do love zhaoxi of the dad in the devildom ah but i would like to hit jtta zhaoxi with a broom for neglecting his daughter, like king i know you kinda had not a lot of choice if you wanted to earn enough money to live but COME ON

and they are both just humans in the end, but they are also so so special (to me at least)

but i think you put it really well, anon! ik is just some kid who really does deserve to actually BE just a kid, whereas zhaoxi’s kind of like a more boring tom from tom and jerry

in typical me fashion, I have come to the conclusion that just like I did not realise that I mixed up Guilty Crown and Neon Genesis Evangelion, I also realised that I mixed up Inuyasha and Kamisama Kiss.

tbf this is what happens if you rely on memories from like. Fourth/Fifth grade of watching things on TV

#and I still haven't found two of the animes I used to like #1. Started out as slice of life but everyone was too nice to the MC who had Issues dealing with some incomprehensible grief but it's fine #it's slice of life after all but then randomly some school has an accident and they need two transfer students to go from MC's school and #it's just the MC and another girl. There's a whole drama and the whole anime starts taking a darker tone and it's revealed that actually th #accident happened in MC's school and the girl and himself were the only ones alive and the rest were only hanging on so that they did not #get too bad of a shock at the end. Mc accidently got splashed with a (obsessive) "love potion" and she falls in giddy love with first person she lays her eyes on.

All she wants to do is give them kisses and hugs...and yea she also is clingy and she follows them around even duuring class. She is ready to do anything for her "love" ( like whatever they ask of her) she wants them to be happy . She is convinced that they are dating and it's honestly pointless to try and explain things to her.

How would Azul, Jamil, Malleus, Duece and Floyd hanndle the situation/what's their reaction? ( they were not dating before )

Azul Ashengrotto:

Azul was doomed by yet another situation he couldn’t see himself out of. He hardly knows how to handle you normally, or rather how to handle his feelings for you, but you’re much harder when you’re like this. Having you clinging to his side and demanding his attention made it impossible for him to concentrate, and feelings be damned he wasn’t going to let his business suffer. Since Jade and Floyd refused to escort you from his office (finding Azul’s flustered face and inability to actually push you away the best comedy bit they’d seen in years) he ordered them to instead find a cure for the nightmarish love potion that ailed you. They do agree but take longer than they need to, wanting Azul to endure his torturous thoughts a bit longer.

Deuce Spade:

You have poor Deuce stressed OUT. He’s too worried about your well-being to hear any of Ace’s teasing, also focused on keeping his lips covered in case of another surprise attack. He wouldn’t mind under normal circumstances but this doesn’t feel genuine (and he had a much more romantic first kiss in mind for the two of you). He boldly confided in his seniors about you in hopes of them helping with a solution, tightly holding your hand to keep you at bay. He’s willing to go to any length to cure you, even if he’d miss the closeness.

Floyd Leech:

Floyd is willing to milk this situation for all that it’s worth. He particularly enjoyed the squeezing contest you had, and how tightly you clung to him even after he clearly won. He would have loved to keep you all to himself, using your condition to get out of working at Mostro Lounge as it would be hard to cook with you attached to him like you were. Jade is surprised with how long Floyd indulged your clingy behavior, even when he seemed fed up, he knew if he really wanted to push you away and lock you up so you’d leave him alone, he would do it.

Jamil Viper:

Jamil would have used you for all you were worth if he didn’t have feelings for you. He’s frustrated that yet another responsibility was thrust upon him, but turning his back on you was not a choice under these circumstances. It makes it hard to go about his day when he has two different people bothering him all day, but you proved to be the bigger challenge (for now). If he could concentrate he’d have an easier time of finding a solution but there was a part of him that longed for you to continue to worship him, curious how much of this might mirror your relationship if you ended up dating.

Malleus Draconia:

You had always been more honest with Malleus than others, but this was certainly new. As much as he enjoyed your emboldened behavior it didn’t take him long to detect something was off, leaving him conflicted. He wouldn’t mind having a close relationship like this with you, maybe some more boundaries discussed for the sake of Sebek’s heart and everyone else's eardrums, but he was disappointed to know this wasn’t you acting on ‘real’ feelings. He’s even more suspicious about how and why you were splashed with such a potion to begin with, growing rather possessive at the concept of someone trying to steal your heart away from him.

Lucifer

This bastard makes no secret of how proud he is to make a mess of MC.

His reaction depends on the position, if the bedframe cracks while he is on top, then he makes sure MC's safe before continuing elsewhere.

MC's barely had time to comprehend that the bedframe gave way underneath them before Lucifer is scooping them up and resuming their activities on his desk or against the wall.

"Lucifer, did we-?"

"Don't worry your pretty little head about it, my darling. Now, sing for me~"

But. If that bed breaks while MC's on top? That is a very different story.

"Look at you, taking me so well even the bed can't take it~"

"Go on, love, do it again."

Demon does not give a shit, clasps MC's thighs and holds them up while he thrusts up to meet their hips.

He may act mildly displeased at having to buy a new bed, but that aura of pure pride rolling off him the next day is fooling no one.

Mammon

Let's face it, he's so sex-drunk he probably didn't notice. He's too busy overstimming himself to the point of tears, pretty noises pouring from his kiss-bitten lips with shameless abandon.

He's the Avatar of Greed after all, and here is his greatest treasure, all naked and pretty for the taking, giving him everything he could ever want. Why in nine circles of hell would he stop?

He'll fuck until the mattress hits the ground, or until MC tells him to stop, because he always retains enough of himself to keep them safe.

Once they're done and laying on a skewed wreck of a bed, sweat colling on their skin, that's when Mammon finally notices.

"Hey...what happened to the bed?"

MC chuckled, pressing a kiss to his brow. "You happened, baby."

His cheeks turned pink and he hid his face in their neck as though he could hide the blush from them. MC felt him grinning against their skin, until the reality struck him.

"How the fuck am I gonna explain this to Lucifer?"

Leviathan

He also wouldn't notice, but not for the reason you might think.

Usually, Levi is a very sweet lover, tends toward the submissive side and lets MC set the pace.

However...

For their lovemaking to get to the point of breaking anything, it's because Levi has gone absolutely feral.

I'm talking more demon than anything else, growling and snarling instead of whimpered, sweet moans tumbling from his lips.

You'd better believe he'll break the bed, the only thing that will stop him is MC, and if they choose not to...

Satan

Believe it or not, I don't actually see this happening with Satan.

He's so cautious of his wrath around MC in the bedroom that I'm no so sure he'd even be comfortable playing rough.

The most that happens with him is toppling a pile of books or something. Once, he accidently knocked into a shelf and used himself as a meat shield for MC as the avalanche came down.

That made for an awkward evening when poor Beel come to the rescue.

Asmodeus

Let's face it, if he did it, it was on purpose.

Asmodeus knows exactly what he's doing when it comes to MC's pleasure, knows exactly how to make them writhe just so that it was actually the human who let magic slip in their daze and cracked the bedpost.

The Avatar of Lust chuckled against their sex, his head buried between their thighs and his eyes alight with pure sin. "What else can I make you break, lovie?"

Everything we know about Solomon so far, lore wise.

WARNING: SPOILERS FOR ALL SEASONS

➤ He's humanity's most powerful sorcerer (swd: 2-A) and one of RAD's first exchange students who has pacts with 72 different demons (swd: 2-2), two of which are Asmodeus and Barbatos (swd: 2-A).

➤ He was the one to rescue MC from Lucifer when the demon was threatening them during the dance party at the retreat, and when MC asked him how to control a demon who's in a pact with them, Solomon explained that they didn't have the magic abilities to that yet but lent them his powers, saying he was "interested to know what would happen if he did." (swd: 8-8) And his powers came in handy later on when MC and the others were escaping from Henry 1.0 and MC used his borrowed powers to summon Asmodeus and charm the giant snake. (swd: 8-13)

➤ He's in possession of the Ring of Wisdom, which grants him the power to control demons. It was given to him by Michael himself, as a way to help Solomon during a time when he was feeling "lost." (swd: 29-5)

➤ He made himself immortal by accident while researching new forms of magic and as a result of it, can no longer grow old or die. (swd: 36-3)

➤ He was the first to suspect that MC's powers were becoming a threat to the three realms when he connected MC's return to the Human World to the "natural disasters" that started happening in ancient locations that were connected to the other realms. And to test if his hypothesis was correct, he brought them to Devildom with him. (swd: 37-4)

➤ Being the one to find out about MC's "situation", he was also the one who told Diavolo and Barbatos about it (swd: 37-4). For a while, they were the only ones who knew, as the prince decided to keep it a secret until there was solid proof that MC was the cause of the disasters happening around them. Eventually, though, Solomon was able to convince Diavolo that it was a good idea to tell Simeon, making him the fourth to know. (swd: 32-16)

➤ After giving it some thought, he decided to go against Diavolo's request and tell MC about their powers anyway. He was beginning to tell them when Lucifer fainted, affected by MC's powers (swd: 36-18). The secret was out to everyone then.

➤ He stole the Night Dagger - the item that was supposed to be used on MC to sever their pacts with the brothers when their powers were proven to be a threat to everyone and everything around them - from Thirteen's cave. (swd: 37-9)

➤ When he found out that to use the Night Dagger to save the three worlds he needed to kill a high-ranking demon with it first he made a plan to kill Lucifer himself, but the idea of MC hating him because of it made him change his mind. (swd: 38-15)

➤ He took MC as his apprentice to help them learn how to control their powers (swd: 38-19) and from then on became their teacher, guiding them through the journey of becoming a full-fledged sorcerer.

➤ According to Michael, he's a decent human with a good head on his shoulders, but can be even more troublesome than demons at times. "He acts as if he understands his own powers, but he doesn't." The angel tells MC - who had been sent back in time to when the brothers were still angels in the Celestial Realm through a dream due to eating Solomon's cooking - before bringing them back home. (swd: 44-18)

➤ He founded the Sorcerers’ Society with one of his past apprentices who he later had a strong disagreement with, which led to Solomon distancing himself from the society. (swd: 45-4)

➤ His pact with Asmodeus was made in a tavern long long ago while the brother was drunk out of his mind. (swd: 53-16) Solomon saw that the demon was in no coherent state and took advantage of that to propose a pact between the two of them. (nb: 6-18 and 17-13)

➤ He met Barbatos even before he met Asmodeus when he risked death to summon the butler (swd: 53-16), desperately needing his powers to control time for reasons that are still unknown (swd: 49-A).

➤ He has Barbatos' grimoire, which the butler gave to him himself out of trust and respect for him. (swd: 53-16)

➤ After MC completed their trials to become a sorcerer and before the brothers left the Human World, he gave MC a sorcerer's ring. (swd: 59-11)

➤ When teleported away by Barbatos as punishment for summing him, he found himself in a dining room where Diavolo and Simeon were arguing over which side should be the one to “guide” humanity, demons or angels. They asked Solomon to make a choice but he told them that humans don't need their protection, claiming that he wants humanity to be free and that's part of an agreement he has with someone. Then, everything goes black and an unknown voice ( who we later find out is Nightbringer ) accuses Solomon of being “difficult” and tells him that things would be easier if he chose his side, even bringing up MC to ask if the sorcerer would change his mind if his apprentice was to “get caught up in the middle of it.” In response Solomon asks if that's a threat and tells Nightbringer that he's acting like a demon, explaining later that he knows MC wants the same thing as him. The voice calls him overconfident for this, saying that Solomon is sure to the point where he becomes arrogant, and tells him that he is the one behaving like a demon. Solomon isn't surprised by this, replying that it's to be expected considering that Nightbringer is “the one who made him who he is today.” (nb: 9-A and 10-A)

➤ He met Thirteen when he was still a child, and she wasn't even an apprentice reaper yet. The meeting was a surprise to both of them but to Solomon even more, who shrieked in terror when he saw her. According to her, Solomon's soul was as bright as MC's back then, but ever since becoming "The Witty Sorcerer" that changed and it no longer sparkles the same way. (nb: 11-10)

➤ Thirteen blames Barbatos for how much he changed. She told MC that Solomon used to be very lovable and innocent when he was younger, but that Barbatos let him experience whatever he wanted and that's the reason why nothing scares or fazes him anymore. (nb: 11-10)

➤ Although he's immortal there are still ways to kill Solomon by using certain magic and cursed items, and Thirteen is waiting for the day he dies to have his soul. (nb: 11-10)

➤ He was given the title of “the Witty Sorcerer” by Barbatos when the demon brought him to the Fountain of Knowledge for the first time while Solomon was on the verge of death. Barbatos then declared that the human was supposed to protect the spring, and Solomon stayed there until his wounds were healed. (nb: 11-10)

➤ He was raised in a place where magic was a thing to be feared and people were locked up and killed for simply having been rumored to have been seen using it. For that reason, Solomon's parents locked him in a basement away from the world when he started developing magic skills as a child out of fear of what the townsfolk could do to him and the rest of the family if they knew. (nb: 14-14)

➤ While locked away Solomon had a friend ( most likely another child ) who would visit him every now and then and chat with him through the bars of the window in the basement. Something happened to that friend, but Solomon couldn't bring himself to say what. (nb: 14-14 and 14-16)

➤ His life goal is to be powerful enough to protect humanity and to create a world where humans demons and angels can finally stand as equals (nb: 14-14 and 14-16), as opposed to now where humans are seen as an inferior race that to one side ( demons ) is prey and to the other ( angels ) are weaker beings that must be protected. That's also why he's determined to continue to make pacts with powerful demons such as Lucifer, to obtain more power from those pacts.

➤ In a book Satan found there is a passage about Solomon that reads: "Long ago, in a corner of the human world, a sorcerer of rare and extraordinary power was born. He was extremely unique, both in power and nature. As such, he was unable to find a place within human society, and was persecuted by his people, who refused to accept such an aberration. For quite some time he fought to suppress his own power; until he could do so no longer, and lost control. He ended up causing tremendous damage and destruction to the human world." "Once it became clear that the sorcerer posed a threat not just to humans, but to all three worlds, a lone demon appeared before him, offering him guidance. The demon made him guardian of the Fountain of Knowledge and gave him a new lease on life. And so, as the freshly minted protector of knowledge itself, he was thereafter known as 'the wise sorcerer, a title he retains to this day." (nb: 16-4)

➤ He fought a war against the Devildom by himself. (nb: 7-8) It started with Solomon proposing to the Demon King that the demonic realm partnered up with him and demons worked under him to further the Human World’s development, which angered the king and gave start to the war, which lasted 7 days. Fun Facts 561-570

• Unlike most, when Beelzebub goes into shock his appetite only increases.

• Accord the Lucifer when it comes to fishing, Mammon is a genius at letting the fish get away.

• Solomon says being around the brothers give him a desire to go nuts and be more free

• Solomon once summoned an aurora to liven up a party.

• Barbatos has given a few of his recipes to cake shop owners when they beg him for help.

• Solomon once altered a device to be able to fast forward and pause time. He lended it to Simeon believing Simeon would never use it for his own selfish purposes. Simeon proceeded to immediately use it for his own selfish purposes.

• Solomon is an amazing pole dancer but after watching Lucifer and his “expressive” body, he became determined to do even better.

• Little D. No 2 once handed out ordinary candy at a market and told everyone it was lovey-dovey candy. Satan pretended to believe it as an excuse to get closer to MC. Lucifer found that fact to be endearing.

• Belphegor was shot at and commented he would’ve been fine even it had hit him

• Mammon often covers for his little brothers’ mistakes and Lucifer pretends he doesn’t know and doesn’t punish Mammon for “his” accidents.
