The way the Maximum Fun (podcast network) Drive only emphasizes/rewards "new and upgrading members" has always felt gross to me. In the same way that every other company feels gross by perpetually needing double-digit growth percentages quarter after quarter. It makes it feel like continued support is fine, I guess, but what we really want us new blood! We're not gonna publicly celebrate your five bucks a month after the first time, but we'll count up the people who give twenty dollars to get a perk and then immediately cancel every year!
It's probably the correct business decision to bring in cash, but damn it feels gross.

Converting a planet does NOT make it unable to sustain life. If thanergenic planets couldn't sustain life, no1 would be able to live on the nine houses!!!
The wildlife does NOT get mutated. How would that even work? I stj people they don't hurt the wildlife, they only affect the planets! The 'varmints have best friends' campaign is honestly just in bad faith :((
