You know, a person made the coment about how Gabriel shouldn't have been the main villain for so long, and I agree completely.
But besides Felix and Nathalie, there hasn't been a villain who is also a Miraculous holder, or at least who wishes the miraculouses of Ladybug and Chat Noir for themselves, which is... Strange, because we are talking about a wish to modify reality!
Many people, organizations, and even governments would want a piece of that! Hell, even Chloe would want some of that! Gabriel shouldn't have been the only person who was uncomfortable with his life! (And akumas do not count, because it has been well established that they are Monarch's VICTIMS)
You know what would have been great? More villains interested in the miraculouses when Gabriel was still around, you know why? Because it would not only challenge Marinette and cemented the idea of "Ladybug and Chat Noir against the WORLD", but would have also challenged GABRIEL, because now not only Gabriel would have to get Ladybug and Chat Noir's Miraculouses to get what he wants, now he would also have to get them FIRST.
Which means he would have to be on amert 24/7, becuase if it's not one of his akumas who gets the miraculouses, it would be another villain, WHICH HE CAN'T ALLOW, he would have to change his strategies, negotiate, scheme more, watch out for his own ass because he would also have people wanting to find out who he is, search for info, USE HIS BRAIN, and even serve as an excuse for Ladybug ans Chat Noir to find out who he is, because he would be dealing with so much shit he would get sloppy one day or another and give himself away!
It would have been a change of pace and made the show interesting because it would have challenged everyone, but somehow Thomas decides to take the most boring decisions for the show...
You know who could have been an interesting wild card to add to the show's rogues' gallery? Su-Han.
Think about it. He's the leader of the Order of the Guardians, the people connected to protecting the Miraculous, the show already hinted at the Guardians not being perfect due to how they caused Fu to accidentally destroy their temple, and Su-Han is trained in a martial art designed specifically to fight Miraculous users.
What if, instead of making sporadic appearances where he does nothing but yell at Ladybug, Su-Han starts opposing both Ladybug and Monarch's factions? What if he believes none of the characters should be using Miraculous, so he and the Guardians try to take away everyone's Miraculous?
That way, you'd have a third party threatening both the heroes and villains, a chance to expand on the show's lore, and possibly create situations where Ladybug and Cat Noir have to team up with Monarch.

At first, i didn't think much of it, until i remember that Fu is not the true guardian. It was Su Han, and he never gave ownership of the box to Fu. Which means, Fu cannot give ownership to Marinette.
"But Su Han was eaten by the sentimonster, so the ownership must've moved to Fu."
Two answers: 1) This is not some Lost And Found shenanigans where ownership can be changed by simply taking it. This is a box full of magical jewels, with magical training to handle it, with magical magic BS going on in every step they have. They even have memory deleter magic whenever the guardian is changing for protection. It is not that simple.
And 2) let's say that Fu indeed becomes the guardian because he's the only survivor, the rightful guardian is still Su Han, and he was revived after Feast, which means the ownership should be back to Su Han once more. That means, Fu should not be able to give ownership to Marinette.
This show doesn't have plot hole, they got a whole crater.

Just as I promised, a sugar analysis on Ladybug side of Marinette's character:
Now I know that after Strikeback there are some of you saying that she is a bad guardian and all but I want to break it in pieces starting from Marinette's role as Ladybug. Is she really as bad as you say she is?
Is Marinette a bad Ladybug?
Tumblr media
Is that even a question?! This is the girl who thought she was not good enough until the girl she just met was in danger and this girl just swooped in and saved her. And after that the girl who bullied her for years was also in a life or death situation and Marinette saved her a$$ because she put her emotions behind. Other person's life was her priority regardless of who that was - the girl who was nice to her or the girl who wasn't. This is the girl who didn't take credit for the gift she gave to her crush because he would be crushed if he found out his father didn't give him a birthday gift that year. This is the girl who ALWAYS has to be everywhere and help everyone and do everything for everyone because she wants to. She is selfless and brave and generous.
This is also the girl who always no matter what happens can figure out what her lucky charm is for. Or she used it properly. I know I already talked about episodes when she calculates time and space (Backwarder, Timetagger), or episodes where she breaks the plot with her big brain (The Night Owl, Optigami), or when she unified every miraculous in Kwamibuster and pretend to be two people at the same time, but we don't give her enough credit for Strikeback. Because everyone is talking about "Ladybug failed oh no" but can we talk about how she recruit Adrien because he was presumably the only one who didn't have a tattoo (akuma) on his neck and she knew choosing someone like that would be safe AND she was careful not to cause a time paradox?! Even me, who was a hardcore Doctor Who, The Flash and Legends of Tomorrow fan, always forget how time paradox works.
Here's the deal: She didn't go back in time to prevent the akumatization, she went back in time to figure out what the akumatized object is. Because if she caught the akuma in the past that same akuma would not exist in present day and she wouldn't have had the reason to go back in time so she wouldn't. And that's how time paradox works.
But like she knew it! She did it! She travelled through time once with Bunnyx and she immediately knew what to do the second time all by herself. I mean
Tumblr media
!!! She's so clever and she thinks everything till the last detail like c'mon!
Tumblr media
This also the girl who doesn't go like "I'm right you're wrong" when she knows she's not right, when she does something wrong, she will admit it, she will apologise. Those are not common traits. She KNEW Chloé is not a saint, she still decided to help her, she KNEW both her and Kagami are wrong, she stepped back, she KNEW both Lila and her were wrong, she offered Lila peace. That's not what everyone else would do. I'm talking only about Miraculous Ladybug, I'm talking about people. She's only a kid and she's alright better than at least 90% of adults in that show and about 2/3 people I know. If she was a bad person she wouldn't be able to be good Ladybug but she is the best Ladybug. We already had two other characters who tired to use her miraculous and they couldn't be as good as her. Marinette is the best and the only Ladybug. The og Ladybug of her generation.
She got the whole Paris to cheer for her when she messed up! She is THAT powerful.
Is Marinette a bad guardian?
Tumblr media
From what can be seen in this picture clearly - and from this scene if you know the context - kwamis adore her. On her first day of being the guardian, Marinette was learning about kwamis and powers and she was worried if kwamis don't have enough space in the box so she let them fly around in her room. It's risky if someone sees them, but it's good for kwamis. She also put paper on her window so no would see kwamis when they walk pass her house. As someone a pet owner, they can be REALLY annoying when you're trying to sleep and if I had kwamis too I would lock them up while I sleep but she let them be free. Probably because she doesn't sleep a lot anyway. She brings kwamis different snacks and she even put the phone in the miracle box for emergencies! That is good. And I know I said this MILION times but THE HANDMADE SAFE WITH A LOCK!!! Gurl, I'm older than you but you're the one who taught me a lot of great things! Everyone can be a guardian but not everyone can be a good guardian. Marinette really cares about kwamis. She makes them tiny accessories...
Tumblr media
This is cute af! 😍😍😍
She also took kwamis to see Fu again, because they asked her to. She helped Tikki with her chocolate cravings, something Tikki was ashamed of, and she shouldn't because that's relatable. I too go chocolate crazy sometimes. Not as crazy as her but a lot of us loves chocolate. And Marinette didn't blame her for it or lectured her, she offered her help and support. No one can say that Marinette treats kwamis badly and that's something that's really important for the role of the guardian. And all this is more than what Fu was doing for these little ones.
When Marinette revealed her identity to another miraculous holder she did it a) because she was desperate, b) because she knew she can trust Alya and c) because revealing her identity to Chat Noir or anyone who knows Chat's identity already would mean that once this person is akumatized, Hawk Moth will find out both of their identities in the same time. Marinette knew Hawk Moth knows Alya's identity already so she and Alya had a deal for Alya to go undercover so that not only Hawk Moth but also no one except for Ladybug would find out. That was responsible. You can't say it's not.
And she gave every superhero a miraculous after she knew them for a long time and knew she can trust them, she also asked them if they want to. She gave them a choice. Fu didn't do any of this.
She has a lot of potential but this is too early and she's too young. And it's not her fault that it's too early. She's in the wrong place at the wrong time and she needed more training and more studying and more practice and more experience as a hero first before she took the role of the guardian. Of course, for that, look at the man who gave her that responsibility and taught her that her life needs to depend on it, not her. She's trying.
Is Ladybug treating Chat Noir badly?
Tumblr media
I put this here because Ladynoir dynamic is one of major things for Ladybug's autobiography and I got T-I-R-E-D of this salt take! And the reason for that is lame. "sHe DoEsN't NoTiCe He Is SaD" even this sentence is incorrect! She noticed, she asked him, and every time she asked he said everything is alright. She doesn't want to push and she doesn't read minds. She is doing her part of the job and only when she can and only when he lets her she's going to help him. And btw whenever she rejected his feelings it's because she doesn't feel the same way. Even in Glaciator 2 when she threw him - yes it was harsh, I love him too, I don't like to see him hurt - but do you're remember the episode Félix? When she punched Félix BEFORE she figured out it's not Adrien, when he tried to kiss her forcefully. She's gonna react like this to ANYONE when they want to kiss her without her consent, that's the line you should not cross not just Marinette, but with every person ever. That Glaciator 2 scene was annoying me to death bc people tell me my favourite character is abuser. Because she demands personal space, right? And don't get me started on "she's gaslighting Chat Noir" cuz do you even understand what "gaslighting" means?
Tumblr media
You do realize that Ladybug not telling Chat Noir about Rena Rouge is not the same as Ladybug emotionally abusing him and manipulating him?
Ladybug was protecting Rena and herself here too. If she told Chat and he got akumatized, her biggest nightmare, remember? Remember when she got traumatised for life?
Tumblr media
If Chat knew and got akumatized, he would've told Hawk Moth about Rena and Rena knows who Ladybug is so Ladybug would be toast and so will the whole world. I hope this clears it up.
And Kuro Neko? Chat Noir didn't show up and she doesn't know why, an episode earlier she argued with Su-Han that Chat Noir is reliable, and then Chat Noir disappeared after one argument. Same with NY special. What do you mean "Ladybug should've been nicer cuz he has abandonment issues". A) how is she supposed to know that and b) she has emotions and she should react. If someone didn't listen to her, if they made a deal and he didn't follow it, if it was important and it was, she should be angry. It doesn't matter who that is. Why do you always want her to adjust to everyone's childhood trauma, why is it never "this character should be nicer to Marinette as well, she's not the only one who needs to change, she deserves people to treat her better too". And since when do the same people who say "they should be equal" want Ladynoir dynamic to be only beneficial to one of them? Because that's not Ladynoir is about! We should totally just stab salters!
(I have to explain the last part is the Mean Girls reference for those who didn't get it because I got accused of slander against Marinette salters for saying it so just in case).

What's Master Fu like in SB & IB compared to canon?
Also, will Su-Han still make an appearance? If not, I'm open to hearing your opinion on him.
Uh… Kinda the same except he picked Kim and Max
Since it’s Kim and he’s a sweetheart, he doesn’t keep any secrets from Max and let’s him in on the Grimoire and who the Guardian is
And Master Fu is just gonna have to learn to deal with that, especially since [Censored]
Sadly, yes, Su-Han will show up since the Order returned
And since Nathaniel and Marc are not particularly fond of the Order after what Nooroo and Duusu told them, well… At least there’s something they, Kim, and Max agree on
In case you couldn’t tell… I don’t like him. Maybe because he most likely subjected children to inhuman conditions and separated them from their families, was going to take the Miraculous while Shadow Moth was active, and harassed an old man with no memory of the Order

My changes to Miraculous for my rewrite: Season 0
Part 2: Story
Part 1: Magic System
Note: Although I will be using the show as a base, with a lot of the storybeats being in this rewrite. I’ll also be changing and adding new stuff to it.
Also I’m realising this just now, I’ll probably have to change my plan. Instead of putting Magic System, Plot, Characters into three posts. I’ll be spreading the Plot between 5 different posts for every season in this rewrite.
Order of the Guardians
Kwami are the celestial beings that embody the various components of Gimme, the god of Reality, all Kwami are extensions of them and are created whenever a new concept is created. Tikki and Plagg would be the first to be born, being gifted the specific power that if their domains were ever to cross, she’d be summoned.
The Kwami would soon wish to be apart of the world they helped define, so Gimme would grant a human the power to give them physical form 2000 years ago. This man would become the first Mage. This mage would first created 7 Miraculous, magic jewellery that could give Kwami a physical form; these Kwami would be Tikki, Plagg, Nooroo, Wayzz, Trixx, Pollen and Duusu, followed by many more during his lifetime. He would pass this skill onto his children, who would pass it down to theirs, and so fourth.
This would be the beginning of the ‘Order of the Guarduans’, which at the time consisted of Mages and their non magical famiy members, who would become blessed by Gimme to become Guardians. But would eventually grow out and become a secret society hidden in Tibet. Attempts were made to globalise the Order, but the Witch Trials of Massachusetts would prove to dangerous.
An attempt to recreate the Kwami was made, creating the Prodigious and the Renlings as a result, but the power would prove to dangerous for use and be kept under the protection of Mei Shi, created by Gimme to ward off use.
Fu Wang
In 1919 a young Wang Fu would be training to become a Guardian. Fu was excruciatingly hungry during this session, so he’d use the Peacock Miraculous to create a sentimonster to send him food. His anger towards being a Guardian fueled it’s creation, and went on an eating spree destroying everything. The only survivors were Fu, some Grimoires, the 7 main Miraculous (with the Peacock being lost). And Su-Han who hid in Fluff’s pocket dimension before the jewel was destroyed, along woth all the items already being held within.
(In this rewrite Fluff’s power is Abduction, and has access to a pocket dimension. This pocket dimension isn’t bound to time)
Fu would start travelling the world, holding immense trauma and guilt on his shoulders. He would find his way to Paris in 1938, meeting a girl called Marianne Lenoir. The two would fall in love, with Fu telling her about the Miraculous later on into their friendship. 1940’s Paris happened and Fu would insist her to come with him to London, but she refused and stayed in Paris. He would gift her the Butterfly Miraculous to aid her, and he didn’t tell her his feelings that night. Marianne would use the Butterfly to bevome Delias.
Four years later he would come back for her, but when he found out Marianne had fell for another man he couldn’t bare the hurt anymore and left without retrieving the Butterfly, let alone saying a word.
The Agreste’s and Graham de Vanily’s
Marianne and her soon to be husband Jules Grassette (he’s a new character) would get married a few years later with a son called Gabi. Gabi would start to get into fashion, meeting Natalie and Emilie in school (Dupont). Gabi would grow up to be a tailor, getting engaged to Emilie after graduation, and the three would remain close for years to come.
Gabi would change his name to Gabriel Agreste years later, after getting big after he helped Andre Bourgeois impress Audrey. Around the same time he’d be given the Butterfly Miraculous as an heirloom from his parents who would’ve died. This is where him, Emilie and Natalie would first learn of the Miraculous.
Emilie was the eldest daughter of the Graham de Vanily’s, an aristocratic family in Paris, followed by her twin sister Amelie. Emilie was very rebellious, and her marriage with a humble tailor got her removed from the inheritance. This would leave Amelie in line, amd she’d be married off too billionaire Colt Fathom.
Both sisters would desire to have children, but as both were infertile Her, Gabriel and Natalie would begin their search for a way. They’d come into contact with Tomoe Tsurugi, the owner of tech company Tsurugi Industies, who would give them a Grimoire in agreement that Gabriel would join the Affluent Society (rich people controlling the world club.) With the Grimoire and with the aid of Nooroo, the three would find the destroyed remains of the Order and locate the location of the Peacock.
Some years would go by, Emilie would use the Miraculous, becoming Peahen. Creating Adrien with the use of a power she was not ready for. Colt eventually used the Miraculous himself to create Felix, jealous that his family didn’t have an heir first. Jumping to a power that they were not trained for, both Emilie and Colt broke the Peacock in use, which started draining their life force. The two would die during Adrien and Felix’s childhoods, Gabriel shutting himself in his house trying to find a way to reverse the effect of the Peacock, and to bring his wife back from death.

Suhan was done dirty. They can’t differentiate between character flaws and Order’s flaws and end up mixing the two due to Suhan’s incompetent yet competent portrayal. Some flaws Suhan has is tied to the order even when they don’t make sense like with the Akuma training thing. They don’t even acknowledge that the situation IS rather dire and that Suhan CAN help bring a sense of mental stability to Mari’s suffering through some training because they don’t wanna admit Fu was flawed in his ways.
The show really wants to let the audience know that the Order was very flawed, but we never get any indication that they methods were actually wrong since it was Fu breaking the rules that led to their downfall. Even with Su-Han, they make it out like it was just him that was the problem with the Order, given how strict he is about the rules Fu himself never followed.
I don't get what the point of Su-Han is if he doesn't become another mentor for Marinette or an antagonist with his own goals, because he's just so underutilized in this show.

(Stammering Adrien AU's fun prompt) Mayura send Gozuryu (the five headed dragon sentimonster) to defeated Benzaiten
Emilie's Choice Part Two: A Stammering Adrien AU Moment
Gozuryu: *ROOOOOOOAAAAR*
Benzaiten: *has a limb trapped by a dragon's head* Release me at once, you wretched beast!
Mayura: Give it up, Benzaiten. You've lost.
Benzaiten: Never! I will prevail! I will triumph! I... *gets stung by Queen B's top*
Queen B: You talk too much.
Ladybug: *takes the possessed object and breaks it. Alright, little akuma. No more evildoing for you. TIME TO DE-EVILIZE! *cleanses the butterfly* Bye-bye, little butterfly. *tosses the object in the air* MIRACULOUS LADYBUG! *Everything is reset*
De-akumatized woman: I'm sorry. Really. I don't know what came over me. It's just been so stressful this week.
Mayura: *makes Gozuryu vanish* We all have our breaking points, citizen. *feels her back tense up* AUGH! *hiss* Ooh! Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, that hurts!
Ladybug: Mayura!
Chat: Are you okay?!
Mayura: Oh! Oh, my back!
*everyone looks concerned*
Later
Master Fu: *looking at Emilie's back* I saw this coming. The back is always the first thing to go for us guardians.
Su Han: This is why guardians are chosen at a younger age. The strength and endurance of the young can be built upon.
Emilie: But that's not so much the case for a middle-aged mother. *winces as she sits up* Wish I had thought about that
Marinette: I don't get it, Mrs. Agreste. You're in great shape. How could this happen?
Emilie: It could be an old injury. Earlier in my acting career, I tried doing my own stunts. It, well, didn't work out.
Su Han: It would be best if you retired, and found your successor as we had planned, lest you risk exasperating the problem.
Emilie: *sigh* Well, short as it was, it was fun while it lasted *snuggles Duusu* I'll miss you, my little peachick.
Duusu: I'll miss you too, mistress. But at least I can come to visit once I've settled in with Felix.
The Team: FELIX?!
Adrien: *raises hands in defense* Hang on, hang on. We'll test him first, m-m-m-make sure he's fit for the job.
Marinette: Good, because I want to know I can trust him first.
Adrien: You g-g-guys don't know my cousin like I do. Yeah, he has his share of f-f-f-faults, but deep down, he's a good guy, and can be relied on.
Master Fu: I certainly hope so.

Ok so ignore the grammar I typed this on my phone.
Miraculous ladybug au/head cannon thing;
The order/ the guardians are obviously a cult. They don’t even try to hide that in the show. My thoughts on this matter are just how evil or immoral was this cult?
Like they were obviously OK with starving a child and had no issues with blatant indoctrination techniques and Fu clearly had some level of Stockholm syndrome figuring he still followed the Cults ways decades after they “died”
This also explains why fu thought giving the miraculous to children was a good idea, children are easy for cults to manipulate, and fu’s upbringing probably lead to him never even considering adults for the position.
It’s also clear whoever holds miraculous has absolute control over the kwami if they give an order. What do you think the chances are, that a cult this controlling, did not give the kwami some variation of “you cannot talk bad about the order” as a command.
I would like to think that the order was not really about the protection of humanity at all but rather hoarding this ancient power. Fu just never realized because he was too young and too low in the Cults power structure when they were caught. And clearly Marinette knows nothing as she was never an actual member.
Su Han and his actions do throw a Good sized monkey wrench in this “pure evil order” idea though. as a proper cult would never accept lb and cn as holders no matter what they threatened or argued, the cult would have just returned with backup.
Any thoughts?

WAIT A GOTDAM MINUTE!!!
Excuse my language for a min…
BUT WHERE THE FUCK WAS SU HAN’S DUMBASS AT IN THE ENTIRETY OF RISK AND WHEN THE MIRACULOUSES GOT STOLEN!?!?!?
It’s SO funny how he constantly talks about the rules of the miraculouses, identities and shit like that, and has the NERVE to school Ladybug when said rules aren’t followed, but HE’S barley been here to HELP whatsoever!
He ran from battle in Furious Fu, and we only see him ONCE in Risk!
People are always complaining about Master Fu and how he was a terrible guardian who put Marinette/Ladybug through hell, but how about THIS piece of shit!? He’s not doing anything to help, but then has the AUDACITY to school these kids and claim them non worthy!?
TALK ABOUT USELESS CHARACTER! 😤

Thomas assdumb: *just putting some asian stuff only for fulfilling his asian fantasy (i.e. council, master, guardian & sacred power) and forgetting those elements because too focus on Marinette’s story as the worst guardian for the whole seasons.
Damn, the plot hole in this show is getting bigger. No wonder their VA’s and staffs were nauseous with their incompetence which leads to data leak for the entire season 5 & the future season 🥱.

Suhan can't have been the Guardian who told Fu to take the Miracle Box, the grimoire, and his staff, and run
and whoever that other Guardian was, he might not have been resurrected with the rest in "Feast", and if he was then it was without his memories, because he has to have relinquished Guardianship to Fu
