Unpopular opinion.

Marinette not forgiving Chloe doesn't make her a bad person.

Chloe never apologised for making Marinettes life hell. Never accepted responsibility for everything she did. Continued to bully her and all her friends.

And when Marinette tried to give Chloe the benefit of the doubt and attempted to help her patch things up with Audrey, Chloe spat in her face and continued being the same racist entitled brat.

Forgiving somebody who refuses to accept responsibility and keeps abusing others isn't forgiveness, it's enabling.

So, yeah. Good for Marinette standing up for herself. I respect you girl. ❤️

There's a scene during Revelation which gave me the goosebumps and made me want to puke at the same time

Spoiler WARNING about the season 5 ML episodes and trailers released by GLOOB :

Lila : "Thank you Sabine, you're like a mother to me"

My reaction :

But seriously ... Do you realize what dreadfull implication Lila's words could mean during that sickening scene ?

She wants to add Sabine to her collections of false mothers

I didn't took this theory about Lila murdering girls to take their place seriously, but after that scene, I'm not so sure anymore.

If this Theory is true in some way or another, then Lila's next target could be Marinette.

And if not, Lila having managed to get close to Sabine enough to hug her and compare her to her mother is already horrifying on its own.

Because it's already infuriating and tragic enough that Marinette's friends (except Zoé, Socqueline and Luka I hope) trust Lila more than they trust Marinette, but can you imagine how horrible it will be if Marinette's parents start to trust Lila more than they trust their own daugther ? Just because Lila bonded with Sabine over painting lessons ?

isn't the idea of Lila endgoal not only being to take all of Marinette's friends from her, but her family as well, truly frightening for our heroin who already went through a lot and will probably gain more trauma the more we get toward the season 5 finale ?

Right now I'm hesitating between wanting Marinette to get away from this unhealthy environment before her loved ones hurt her and dissapoint her further, or wanting everyone to finally discover the truth about Lila and realize how much they hurt Marinette by having more faith and support toward somoene who has bad intentions toward Marinette since the beginning.

to summarize... I FREAKING NEED THE EPISODE CONFRONTATION RIGHT NOW ! I NEED LILA TO BE TAKEN DOWN BY SABRINA

I think it's very interesting that despite being characterised by salters as someone who would put her crush on a pedestal and let it distract her from important stuff. Marinette is the only person on the show who doesn’t do that

Alya broke her promise and revealed her secret identity to Nino.

Nino nearly killed Chat Noir because he didn't trust his girlfriend.

Chloe is well... Chloe.

Luka got Akumatized because the woman he had been with for less than a month had her own secrets.

Kagami over idealised Adrien and when he didn't live up to those standards she got controlling and almost cruel.

Adrien has let his feelings override his judgment albeit briefly.

Gabriel has gone completely insane and attacks Paris on a daily basis due to Emilies death.

Marinette on the other hand despite being hopelessly in love with Adrien and being a romantic to the core, has sworn off romance completely until Monarch is defeated. It hurts like hell but her duty comes first.

She deserves respect.

I find it funny how Chole stans think that Marinette is the pushy one when it comes to Adrien.

Like yeah, him and Chloe were childhood friends, but it's obvious that Chloe makes Adrien uncomfortable. As soon as Chloe touches him or is close to him, Adrien looks uncomfortable as hell.

But when Marinette touches him, he lights up like a goddamn Christmas tree. Adrien even likes being close to Marinette and willingly has physical contact with her. Her presence in general makes him happy. Like "Marinette is too pushy and makes Adrien uncomfortable!", when and where? (Ofc there's the statue scene, but he didn't view Marinette differently or anything afterwards.) I'm not saying that Adrien hates Chloe or sm, of course not. But I'm just pointing out that if there's anyone making him uncomfortable it's Chloe. (And Lila, but this ain't abt her)
