Writing Prompt: The Cruelest Wish
gabriel got his wish: to go into the afterlife with emilie, and to heal nathalie. but both he and nathalie were at death's door, only hours away from perishing, when he made the wish - so his sacrifice of dying a little too early was not enough to balance things out. the wish recognised this, so when it read his heart and soul, it also recognised that gabriel fundamentally was the same as before... and that he still hated ladybug a lot.
the consequence was that marinette was given the same injury. either gabriel's or nathalie's wound was transferred to her, leaving her with a ticking clock that will slowly but surely kill her. and even though the injury was given to her in the earliest stages, she knows it can't be reversed by something so easy as tikki's cure spell.
she tries to mask it at first - by wearing clothes that cover more of her, and scarfing down over-the-counter painkillers. she doesn't tell any of her friends, not even alya or tikki or cat noir or adrien; she knows that if she tells anyone, the scaffold of lies she's built up will crumble. and she doesn't want to worry people. so she goes about her business as normal, or at least as normal as she can with her reduced health. as ladybug, she can still jump around as normal and take punches that would floor an adult man, but she's always more exhausted - and in pain - after detransforming. and she gets winded more easily, and sometimes feels her legs or arms buckle or her head grow faint, which at first everyone reads as just clumsiness.
but as time goes on... her deterioration becomes very noticeable. she gets dizzy spells in class and struggles to climb stairs. after she coughs up blood and faints while out with the girl squad, and wakes up in hospital with alya and rose by her side, she knows she doesn't have much time left. so she goes to su-han and asks if he knows of a cure. and he tells her there is one... but the things she'll need to do to get/make it will be gruelling.

Writing Prompt: A Very Nasty Threat
"Well?" Ladybug glared, staring down the boy who'd summoned her. "What is it that you want? If this is some kind of trap, I promise you that--"
"It isn't. I need your help."
Argos looked anything but confrontational to her; he seemed more anxious than anything else.
"Monarch has gone way too far this time. He's crossed a line that I cannot allow him to cross," he explained.
"Go on..."
"He came to me yesterday and demanded that I create a very special sentimonster for him. Monarch finds his son's girlfriend to be particularly irritating, and he asked me to create a senti replacement for her. One who would be the same in all aspects, but under his control and subservient to his wishes."
Ladybug's horror was immediate and obvious.
"Wouldn't... people notice that there were two of them?" she ventured. "What does he have in mind for the original?"
"He... wouldn't say," said Argos, looking away. "Something about her 'sleeping' somewhere."
"That's disgusting," Ladybug spat out. "What did you tell him?"
"No, of course! I'm as revolted as you are," he countered. "But he says that if I don't comply, he'll use the Horse's portal to drop me into orbit around Jupiter. So... I need your help."
"What do you want me to do?" she asked.
"Find the girl and get her to somewhere safe, as soon as possible. Her name is Marinette Dupain-Cheng. She lives near--"
It was as if the entire world froze in place at that moment.

Writing Prompt: Men In Black
AU - Shortly after Lila shows up, a frustrated Marinette sends a message to the Italian Embassy.
"Hello, as someone with Italian citizenship (through my father and grandmother), I was wondering why the child of a member of diplomatic staff is attending an unsecured public school without protection, while publicly advertising her status as the child of a foreign diplomat?"
Mostly she was hoping that Lila's mom might get reprimanded, and as a result rein in her daughter.
She was surprised when, instead, several Interpol agents were at her house when she woke up.
Marinette: I- I swear! I wasn't threatening her! I didn't do anything!
Interpol Agent: You don't understand Miss. We're not here because you're in trouble. At least, not with us. We're here because we need your help.
Marinette: My... Help?
Interpol Agent: Yes. You see, when Miss Rossi left Italy, she didn't have any children. Somehow in the last month, without notifying the Italian government, she's acquired a 14 year old daughter. That is... Concerning.
Marinette: Wait, what?
Interpol Agent: Best Case scenario, our diplomat has been involved in an illegal adoption. More likely, this "Lila" is using some form of mind control. Either way, we have some hard questions for her.

Throughout his whole life, Adrien has been surrounded by gourmet chefs and a lifestyle much more expensive than an average person.
After his father’s death and having more freedom, his friends take him to a fast food restaurant. His friends warned him it will be different from what he is used to…however his reaction is not what they expected. As they entered Wendy’s he looked like a child in Disney Land, fascinated by the structure and the food they had there. Adrien also noticed sauce packets and got excited, who knew fast food restaurants had such cool souvenirs!! ….Marinette wouldn’t let him take the whole box though unfortunately.
Adrien very much enjoyed the meal and his friends company and before they leave he said he had to do something first.
Adrien: walks up to counter Excuse me?
Waitress: Oh Adrien Agreste! Did you enjoy the meal, I know it’s probably not what-
Adrien: I loved it! …Actually I was hoping I can talk to Wendy.
Waitress: Who?
Adrien: You know… the owner of the restaurant, Wendy? I want to tell her she did a good job

AU where Emilie and Nathalie convince Gabriel to let Adrien attend school almost a full year earlier than he does in canon. When it becomes obvious that Emilie's condition is getting much worse and seeing how much it's affecting him, they decide it will be a good idea to both keep him out of the house so he can have a bit of an escape and potentially make friends to support him when the inevitable happens. He joins the class after the winter holidays and decides to surprise Chloé. Writing Prompt: The Invited Wedding Crasher
AU: Adrien has been homeschooled until he graduated and never met Marinette, Alya or Nino
Alya once read that people should send wedding invitations to rich people because their secretaries would just dismiss it and send expensive gifts or even just money, so she wants to try it out for fun for her and Nino's wedding by inviting Adrien Agreste. Little does she know that Adrien, while initially confused because he doesn't know these people, is absolutely thrilled because he has never been at a wedding before. He ends up contacting Marinette, Alya's bridesmaid who organises a large bulk of the wedding, to ask for gift ideas and the dress code and other such things. Meanwhile Marinette has no idea how to deal with this situation since neither of them had expected Alya's crazy plan to actually work, much less to get that celebrity to actually want to come to the wedding.

Then, Nathalie rounds the corner, holding the little girl’s hand and balancing a baby boy on her hip. She tells him that Adrien and Marinette’s flight just landed, and they will be coming to pick up Emma and Hugo in an hour.
