Honestly, I’m glad I stopped watching their shows and films months ago, becuase between this and how they treat their CGI artists, it’s pretty clear that they don’t value artists in any way, shape or form whatsoever. Incredibly disappointing.

Jack Russell adopting a child

Pairings: Jack Russell x gn!child!reader

Imagine: Jack Russell finds a child and he decides to take care of the child

Warnings: mention of child abandonment, mention of injuries and blood, mention of werewolf and full moons, Jack Russell fluff, I think that’s it

A/N okay I love Jack, I do, and I saw like no fanfics of him so I’m here to do that, there will be more coming soon

Secondly I recently learned that Jack is actually a dad in the comics, I think when I read up on it he had a foster child (correct me if I’m wrong), anyway as I haven’t read any comics with Jack I just wanted to make it clear that this is based on the movie Werewolf by Night by Marvel

Okay so he found you in the woods when you were around two-three, no parents or even an animal was nearby, only him and you

He could smell your sent clearly, you were not a threat in any way

Being the kind man that he is he picked you up and brought you to his camp, where Ted resided as well, and he was very curious as to who you were, but so was Jack

Having forgotten earlier he checked if you had any kind of note with you but nothing existed except for a stuffed animal that you held in a tight grip

It seemed like your parents had abandoned you

that’s were it began

He thought that he’d only take care of you until he found a better place, bc he didn’t want to hurt you on full moons and he didn’t think it was safe to be near him, not for a child that is

but he never gave you away

the first words you said to him was something of the style of “Wolfee” or “puppy” maybe even “pup”, it had been the day after a full moon and you accidentally saw him transform as you had wandered out of the hideout he had placed you in for protection

The werewolf hadn’t hurt you in any way because Jack had lived with you for a while before the full moon and so had taken in your sent, and recognized it.

Jack would probably get a tad bit annoyed if you called him “puppy” because he isn’t a child but he lets you call him that nonetheless because it seems to make you happy, as every other nickname you have for him does too.

His nickname for you would probably be sunshine, or something like that because your the brightest thing in his life

It didn’t take too long for him to realize that you’d stolen his heart

Nor did it take long for him to give you your own comfy blanket and a stuffed animal (which is probably a wolf) to cuddle with

On Halloween you’d insist to go around as a werewolf or a wolf because you want to be like your dad, if you didn’t get to do that you wouldn’t dress up as anything at all

A lot of cuddles, like a lot

Matching sunflower mugs

Let’s not forget you gave him a “world’s best dad mug” or rather you didn’t buy one you took an old one that you had, and wrote with a marker on it, but Jack loves it anyway

He’d probably be protective because you don’t ever know what hunters would do to get to him

When it comes to protecting you he’d do anything

I imagine you’d get hurt a lot, having a lot of energy as a child and being out in the woods a lot, can lead to for example a lot of times tripping up and accidentally scraping your knee. But you have an awesome dad that patches you up

He and Ted would try to get you out of any trouble you ever got in, ultimately ending in Ted getting in trouble, leading to you and Jack having to save him, which leads to you and Ted saving Jack, it just goes around like that, obviously it doesn’t happen all the time, but it happens

You might of stolen his heart but he does know when to say no to you, especially when you want to do something dangerous

You tend to do the most adorable things and he can’t stop smiling when you do them

Did I mention cuddles

Plus saw a guitar at the end of the movie, at Ted’s and Jack’s camp so, I’m going to guess that he or Ted plays, and if he does he’d definitely teach you

With that you would also show him when you learnt something, making him proud of you for learning

Oh and Ted would definitely give you flowers

Idk what more, he’d be over the moon (pun not intended) the first time you called him dad

Just a cute little family of three
