Honestly, I’m glad I stopped watching their shows and films months ago, becuase between this and how they treat their CGI artists, it’s pretty clear that they don’t value artists in any way, shape or form whatsoever. Incredibly disappointing.

it’s just. in the end it’s about family. it’s about Camila pulling Eda into a hug because she took care of her baby. it’s about Hunter thinking he has no one looking for him only to find Darius over his shoulder. it’s about King’s dad telling Luz to tell King he loafs him. (it’s about Caleb falling in love with Evelyn, Philip betraying him for it.) it’s about Gus and Amity and Willow finding their dads. Vee graduating alongside Luz. The Collector being a lonely kid who was abandoned.
Luz having her quinceañera on the Boiling Isles with everyone she loves around her. This show is about family.

We deserve Mary Sues. We deserve power fantasy self-inserts. The world is shitty, especially in these past two years. Do we not deserve a chance to imagine ourselves powerful? Do we not deserve an opportunity to feel amazing and perfect, to be loved, to be the center of positive attention, to have the literal power to save the world? Should we not be allowed the harmless pleasure of putting ourselves into a fictional world, of escaping inside it, and being welcomed and celebrated? Who does it hurt? Nobody. No one is hurt by a character being overpowered or too perfect or too good at things. Who does it help? Us. It helps us. It probably helps somebody else who can project upon that character. We deserve a soft Mary Sue, my loves.

this is so so important to me and mine, and I'm asking you to Do Something so I'll respect your time and keep it brief
in the UK, if 100k sign a a government petition it will be brought to Parliament and debated. y'all know this country is suffering from some 80s-style bigotry right now, and this is one symptom: almost 200k fuckholes have come together to force the government to discuss whether it is 'appropriate' to tell children that queer people exist. this is a big symbolic victory for them. and i am burning with fury.
please, if you're from the UK, sign this counter-petition so they can at least see how much of a minority they are. simply put, the attempt to put these bastards in their place isn't gathering enough steam. there are barely 2000 more signatures now than there were this morning (27th January 2023), and that isn't enough. i refuse to let these people feel even a moment of victory or satisfaction. please help.

Can we agree Area Zero is the place in Pokemon ? The view is the best is SV for sure, the music so beautiful (thanks Toby Fox), and seeing all of the friends talking between them is perfect (especially Penny and Arven bickering).
