Here it is! It's my Maiden May Marigold fic, featuring a good healthy dose of hellbore.
And also angst. My god so much angst

Other than that please enjoy this story about May and Winter getting to finally be together forever
Blood spilled out from between her fingers as she pressed against the wound. It dripped down, warm and fresh, staining the white of her uniform.
She blinks and she’s being carried. Stormy skies rush over her, but the sounds of thunder and fury are still distant.
She blinks again and she’s laying on the sands. It’s warm, like blood, and will soon be just as red.
There is blue and gold above her. Cries she cannot quite hear. Something warm hits her face. Has it started raining yet?

Winter Schnee could not stand that Marigold brat.
Bree had accused her of being jealous he could keep up with her grades, but it was more than that. That dolt did nothing but laze around and make bad jokes, and he still had the gall to act all smug over his grades. It was insulting, and as their team leader, it was Winter’s duty to discipline him.
“Marigold!” She called as she entered their dorm room, “a word.”
"Schmooze," Marigold said without looking up from his scroll.
“What?”
“You asked for a word, so I gave you one,” he answered with a shrug.
Winter inhaled long and deep, counted to ten, and then exhaled. She was not gonna let Marigold get to her today.
“I meant I wish to talk to you,” she strained.
With that he finally put down his scroll and got up from his bunk, “well why didn’t you say so? What do you need?”
“We need to talk about your attitude, Marigold!” She declared, mustering every ounce of authority she had.
Marigold just smirked, “I don’t see what the problem here is, ice queen.”
“The problem is you making a mockery of our team at every opportunity!” She pushed back, verbally, and literally.
“And how exactly did I do that?” He asked, “by being tied with you for best grades? By being top of our dueling class? By having perfect attendance?” Now it was his turn to push her back, “or is it by making you jealous that I can do all those things without a stick up my ass?”
“I don’t have a stick up my ass!” She argued, only catching how silly that sounded after the words had already left her mouth, “and just because your academic record is passable doesn’t mean your behavior is excused!”
“Passable!?” He yelled, “I’m better than you. Maybe if you weren’t so busy worrying about my attitude, you’d watch your footwork better.”
He did not just say that.
Winter stepped forward, grabbing him by the front of his shirt. “Now listen here, Marigold…”
And then she stopped. In this moment of complete lack of control it was as if something clicked in her brain, a reasoning perhaps for why the Marigold heir had been so present in her mind as of late. Because this close, she couldn’t help but find that infuriating grin quite pretty.
“I’m listening,” he teased, and, Brothers, did she want to shut him up.
So she did.
And he shut her up right back.
She didn’t know how long they kept silencing each other, but eventually the door opened and they heard Bree’s voice saying, “Marrow owes me twenty lien.”

The voice kept calling. She couldn’t make out the words, but she could still hear it. It was a beautiful voice. A voice she loved.
Maybe if she closed her eyes, that voice could carry her away. Let her drift to sleep.
Then there was fire.
It roared and hissed. There were words lost in its rage, things she couldn’t understand, but that dripped with both hate and despair.
Blue covered her vision, hiding away the fire and anger.
It was warm. Not like the sand, or the blood, or the fire. It was a different warmth. Kind, comforting.
She missed this warmth.

“Yeah…yeah…thanks,” Winter heard as she entered her team’s dorm room, both hands behind her back. Marigold was standing by his bed, scroll in hand, “I’ll let her know. Okay, talk to you later, mom.”
With that last word out, he dropped the call, fell face first on his pillow, and groaned loudly. It would be amusing, if Winter didn’t know exactly how that felt.
“What did she want this time?” She asked, sitting next to him, and running her fingers through his hair. It had grown so long recently.
He rolled over so as to not speak into his pillow, “she wanted to congratulate me on being so forward thinking, and securing future relationships with the Schnee family.”
Now it was Winter’s turn to groan. At least they managed to keep it a secret this long.
“I almost want to break up with you right now,” Marigold added.
“I wouldn’t blame you,” she answered, “thankfully father doesn’t pay enough attention to my life to comment on this.”
“Ugh, I’m jealous,” he laughed, sitting up. That’s when he noticed that Winter still had one hand behind her back, even now. “What are you hiding, Ice Queen?”
Winter rolled her eyes. A whole year and he couldn’t stop using that stupid nickname, huh?
“If you don’t recall, today is our one year anniversary,” she answered, tone level and controlled, “I believe it is appropriate to celebrate such occasions.”
“I thought our anniversary was last week,” he answered, confused.
“No, that was the anniversary of my… lapse of judgment,” she corrected, a light blush coloring her cheeks at the memory, “today is the anniversary of the proper start to our relationship.”
“I see,” he replied with a smirk.
“Do you want the gift or not!?” She yelled, shoving a small box towards him.
“Alright, alright,” he chuckled, taking the box. He opened it and the chuckle turned into uproarious laughter.
It was a knife.
“What!?” Winter demanded, a look of pure offense on her face.
“Nothing, it’s just,” he snorted, barely containing his laughter, “oh! I know what I should get for my manly man of a boyfriend; a proper hunting knife, for when he goes into the wilds to do manly things.”
“It’s a practical gift!” She argued, voice cracking a little, “we’re still huntsmen. It would be nice to have proper quality tools with us.”
“Sure,” he answered with one last giggle.
“At least I got you something!” She grumbled, crossing her arms.
“Well…” he trailed off, crawling over to her side of the bed, “I can think of one thing I can give you.”
She certainly wouldn’t mind that, though she couldn’t let this go to his head. So she placed a finger on his lips and said, “you remember the rules, Marigold.”
He sighed, “you stay on top, and I don’t get to talk. I know.”
Now she was the one smirking, her voice nearly a purr as she said, “good girl.”
His eyes went wide with surprise in a second, the next his semblance activated, and he disappeared into thin air.
“Boy!” She corrected, “I meant boy!”
There was a pause, just long enough to make Winter uncomfortable with her mistake, but he did eventually reappear before her.
“Yeah,” he muttered, a deep blush on his face, “yeah, of course you did.”
“Uh, how about we just cuddle instead?” She offered, shyly.
“Yeah. Sounds great.”

Blue retreated and she could see the dark skies again. The fire was gone, but the thunder was growing closer. It was louder even through the fog that covered her mind.
And there was the voice again. Desperate, yearning. Something about it made her want to reach out, to pierce the fog, to hear that voice again as clear as day.
“-with me! Stay with me, please!” The words finally took shape. Such sad words for such a beautiful voice. She had to fix this somehow.
Her free hand reached up to cup her face. Blue eyes looked into gold, and she called her name.
“May.”

Winter just about had it with Marigold’s crap. Sure, when he canceled a date on her the first time she thought he just wasn’t feeling well. When he did it again she also paid it no mind, they had been together for almost two years now, so they didn’t really need to be together all the time. But after over a month of this crap there was only one conclusion she could possibly reach.
Her boyfriend was avoiding her.
“Everyone out!” She shouted as she shoved the dorm room door open.
Bree and Amin opened their mouths to complain, but Winter just repeated louder, “out!”
With that order made clear, all three of them put away their stuff and got up to leave. But she still wanted one of them to stay.
“Not you, Marigold,” she added, shoving a finger to his chest to hold him in place, “we have things to discuss.”
Amin visibly cringed at the sight, and patted him on the back, muttering, “I’m so sorry, dude,” before leaving.
Now properly alone Marigold sighed, “did you really have to make a whole scene?”
“Oh, should I have waited to talk next time we were alone?” She asked, sarcasm dripping from her voice like acid, “maybe during our next date?”
He groaned and pinched the bridge of his nose, “is that really what this is about?”
“You’ve been avoiding me, Marigold!” She accused, shoving her finger at his chest again, “don’t you dare pretend otherwise!”
He slapped that finger away. “Yeah, what if I am!?”
“What!? I’m your girlfriend!” She shouted, “if you’re gonna give me the cold shoulder, I at least deserve to know why!”
“Oh?” He exclaimed, his tone shifting from anger to mockery, “and do you even want to be my girlfriend?”
“What are you on about?” She scoffed, “Of course I do.”
“Really?” He laughed, “because if you did you wouldn’t turn everything into a shouting match.”
“That’s the only way to get through to you.”
“Or look at Harriet like you want her more than me.” He continued.
“I don’t know what you’re talking about.”
“And you wouldn’t refuse to say my name!”
Those words echoed in the silence that followed.
This time Winter looked truly apologetic, “I thought you didn’t like it.”
“What?”
“You always flinched, or made a face when I called you by your name,” she explained, “I…I thought you hated it.”
“I…,” he paused, his brow furrowed, “I guess I do, don’t I?”
He sat back down on his bed and muttered a curse under his breath.
She opened her mouth, the first syllable of his name barely leaving her lips before he flinched again. She paused and corrected herself, “Marigold, what’s this about?”
“I don’t know, Winter,” he answered, falling back onto the bed, “I don’t know anything. I’ve been a mess for months, and I can’t even tell you about it.”
“Of course you can,” she assured him.
“No, I can’t,” he insisted, “you wouldn’t understand. Brothers, not even I understand. It’s like there’s something deeply wrong with me that I can’t figure out,” he hid his face behind his hand and groaned, “I just wanna be happy with you, Winter, but I can’t.”
Winter felt a cold in her gut at those words, like she swallowed ice dust, “what… Do you mean?”
“I mean I think we should break up.”

“Winter!” May cried, squeezing her hand, “oh, thank the gods.”
“May,” she called again, her mind still hazy.
“Just hang in there, okay?” May pleaded, “we’ll get you out of here.”
Right, they had to go back. The mission was a failure. The mission.
“Cinder,” she croaked, “where is she?”
“Not too far,” May answered, “she’s been looking for us all over the place, but I’m keeping us hidden,” she gestures with a glowing hand to the dome of her semblance around them, “I don’t know why she hasn’t turned this desert to glass already.”
She knew.
It was why she was granted this power. Why Cinder couldn’t be allowed to find them.
“She…She needs me alive.”

Some shitty half frozen bar in Mantle was the last place anyone would ever think to find Winter Schnee, and yet here she was. At Ebi’s request she had accompanied her seniors to celebrate her official recruitment into the Specialist Program. It was only polite. Though why the celebration had to take place here of all places was beyond her.
“Why are you sulking, little Schnee?” Ederne asked, nudging her.
“I’m not sulking,” Winter sulked, taking a sip from her beer.
She wasn’t drunk enough for this.
“Come on, this is a celebration,” her senior insisted, “this is a big step in your life! You should mark the occasion with something special.”
Winter decided to archive that suggestion in the same mental box she kept all of her father’s suggestions, and simply muttered, “I need to use the restroom.”
She was in no rush to return to her table, instead choosing to meander a little, pretending to not find the bathroom for a moment, if only to buy herself some freedom. And as she walked past the counter she found her eyes drawn to something she hadn’t seen in a long time.
A long blue ponytail. It was almost at hip length by now, much longer than before, but still unmistakably the same ponytail. Her eyes tracked up, all the way to the mirror behind the counter, and she met golden eyes in the reflection.
“Marigold?”
Those golden eyes went wide and Marigold turned to face her, nearly dropping her drink.
Winter wasn’t sure how to deal with what she saw. Marigold had changed, a lot actually. From the new outfit, to the softer features, to the unexpected curves. There was no way this could be her old partner, but at the same time there was no one else this could be. And in that moment Winter found herself unable to do anything but stare.
“Hey, Winter,” Marigold greeted, with a voice that snapped her eyes up in attention, “what the hell are you doing here?”
“I-I could ask you the same question,” she shot back, trying to appear unaffected by this turn of events.
“Really? Is that honestly the first question you have in mind?” Marigold asked, raising an eyebrow. At that Winter could only stammer, and when no coherent sentence formed, she decided to take Winter’s hand, give it a shake and shoot her a wink, “the name is May now, by the way.”
May Marigold. That was a pretty name. Much prettier than the last one. She deserved a pretty name.
Wait, where was she?
Right, she should reply to her.
“It suits you,” she commented awkwardly.
“Aww, thanks,” May laughed, leaning back against the counter, “so you haven’t answered me, what got the Winter Schnee to come down to this dump?”
Winter looked back on reflex, her eyes finding the table where the rest of the specialists waited for her. Though Ederne and Bree had moved on from waiting for her to yelling, “get it, Schnee!” from across the room. A fact May was also fully aware of.
“It doesn’t matter,” she answered, choosing to ignore her coworkers, and change the subject, “you’ve changed a lot since the academy.”
May laughed, and Winter decided she could listen to that sound all day, “I guess I figured what kept bothering me all that time.”
A little flame of hope sparked in Winter’s heart, blazing through the alcohol in her blood, “you seem a lot happier.”
“Mhmm,” she hummed, standing up - oh, wow… When had she gotten taller than Winter - “though it looks like I’m not the only one who is happy with the change.”
“I don’t know what you’re talking about,” Winter blurted out, clearing her throat, earning her a smirk from May. “What got you so happy?” She asked.
May ran a finger under Winter’s chin. “I finally got you to look at me like you want me.”

“What!?” May yelled.
“If I die, someone else will take the powers,” she answered, one last sliver of blue fire burning in her eye, “but if she finds me…”
Her chest stung and she flinched. The puncture wounds from Cinder’s claw still bled. She had drained the last of her aura through them, and now there was nothing to keep her from bleeding out.
“...she’ll be even worse to fight,” May finished. There was disbelief in her face for only a moment, before it turned to determination. The last shred she still had of it. "That is it! We’re getting you out of here now. We’re getting you away from this bitch, and to a hospital!”
Without a moment of hesitation, she pulled Winter back up into a bridal carry, and began marching through the sands.
“May,” she called, but she did not answer, instead just focusing on the path ahead.
“May!” She called again, louder this time, “how much aura do you still have?”
“It doesn’t matter,” she answered, still refusing to look down, “we’ll get you to safety. I promise.”
A raindrop hit her skin, cold in the warm desert air. Then another and another. The storm had reached them, quickly soaking them, and washing the red from her uniform.
“It’s not enough, is it?” She asked.
“I said it doesn’t matter!” May cried out, finally looking down at her. Even as the rain hid her tears it was still clear that she was crying, “I’m not letting you go again.”
“May,” she whispered, “you know what we have to do.”
“I can’t!” May screamed, “I’m not losing you!”
“It’s okay,” Winter soothed, “I’ll still be with you, always.”

Winter pushed her way into the Happy Huntresses’ tent, scanning the space to find all three of the remaining members freezing to look back at her.
“I would like to speak with May,” she asked, when no one moved she added, “alone.”
Greenleaf and Thyme both turned to face May, who gave them a nod. Without a word the two of them left. Though Greenleaf made a point to shoulder check Winter on the way out.
She couldn’t really blame her.
“Alright, what do you want, Ice Queen?” May asked, not bothering to get up from her bed.
Winter walked up to her, cleared her throat, and declared, “I would like to apologize.”
“For what exactly?” May scoffed, “because that’s a very long list.”
“For everything,” she spoke solemnly, “for doubting you, for leaving you, for choosing duty over you.”
“You didn’t just choose duty over me, you chose it over everybody,” May shot back, “every day, for months, I’d look up and see your face up on a skyscraper, making up excuses for why all of Mantle had to suffer.”
“I know,” Winter answered, her voice trembling, but she reigned in her emotions, “I thought I was doing the right thing. I thought I was serving the greater good. But everything that happened to Mantle happened because I allowed it, because I was blind to the horrors I was causing… because I didn’t believe you.”
Her hands began to shake.
She tried her best to keep it under control, but she had so little control left.
“If I had listened to you, if I had come with you and joined the Huntresses,” her voice cracked, tears welling in her eyes, “then none of this would have happened. Atlas would still be standing, no one would have died. Not Robyn, not Penny, not We… not Weiss.”
She couldn’t reign them in, couldn’t hold on to them. All those feelings duty had once so easily masked, now had nothing to keep them in check.
She screwed her eyes shut, one last ditch attempt to hold back her tears.
Then she felt a hand, gentle and warm, cup her face and wipe away those tears.
“I’m not gonna say you have no blame here, but you know Ironwood would have done all of this even without you,” May assured her, “and yeah, it would have been nice if you came earlier. But you’re here now, and you can still fix things. You can still come with me.”
Winter couldn’t believe what she heard.
How could May forgive her? How could she still want her there? She opened her eyes and saw just how close they were, and another feeling in her heart begged to be heard.
She stepped forward, May leaned in, and there was no more distance between them.

“Handy semblance,” Cinder mocked as she hovered over the desert sands, “a shame it doesn’t work in the rain.”
Before her stood the dome of May’s semblance, raindrops disappearing into it and making a perfect sphere untouched by rain.
The dome shrunk on itself until it disappeared entirely. There stood May Marigold, blood on her clothes, a knife - her knife - still firmly in her hand.
No.
No! This couldn’t happen again!
She would not lose that power again!
Her semblance flared and two swords formed in her hands.
May dropped the knife onto the sand, and cold winds began to swirl around her.
“Listen here,” she called, golden fire raging in her eyes, “there’s a new maiden in town,” ice grew from her hands shaping itself into a pair of dueling blades, one long, one short, “and she’s gonna make you pay for everything you’ve done!”

May sighed and looked out over Mantle from the rooftop of an SDC warehouse, her eyes scanned the streets for any sign of trouble from grimm that breached the wall. Her hand stayed on the shaft of her weapon, at the ready at the first sign of danger.
“Marigold, what do you think you’re doing?”
“Trying to keep Mantle safe, unlike you.” May rolled her eyes and looked down at the figure below her. “Or is Ironwood pretending to care by having you patrol the warehouses, Winter?”
Winter sighed and climbed her way up onto the warehouse. “I’m trying to keep you out of trouble. That’s what teammates are for, arent they? Or did you forget about that the same day you abandoned your post?”
“I didnt abandon, I looked the other way. You’ve seen the state Mantle’s in, we cant leave it like this. We can go find the Happy Huntresses-”
“And you know exactly why we cant.” Winter put a hand on May’s shoulder. “We graduated from Atlas and are part of the military until our service is up. We’re both in line to be specialists, and from the sound of it, going to be very close to the general himself. We can finally have a place to belong.”
“I already have a place to belong!” May pointed out towards the city. “I belong out here, helping Mantle. I made that decision when I saw how everyone here is being treated. You see that wall out there? Its not keeping any grimm out!”
“That’s what the mechanical soldiers are for. They can handle the grimm.”
A scream from an older woman pierced through the air along with the sounds of a grimm roar. May sighed and pulled her weapon off her back and started to rush out to help.
“You mean like that?”
“May! Get back here!” Winter groaned in frustration and used her glyphs to follow behind May. “I’m not done with you yet!”
“Then you better keep up with me!”
May weaved her way through the city streets she had started to get to know so well from her nightly excursions. Her semblance activated as she attempted to keep out of sight from the light of the warehouse district and to catch the grimm unaware and slam her staff into the grimm to knock it away.
The older woman stopped and watched May, a small smile crossed her lips. “You… came to save me?”
May nodded and put herself between the woman and the grimm, her hands gripped her staff tightly. “Of course I did. That’s what being a huntress is about, right?”
The older woman nodded and slowly knelt down as she watched May fight off the grimm. “I’ll… take a short rest…”
“Let me get… you to a hospital… first!” May slammed the end of her staff down into the grimm and pierced its chest. As the grimm started to turn to smoke and ash, she made her way to the older woman to help her up. “Its too cold to rest out here.”
“Such… a nice… young woman. What is your name?”
“May. And yours?”
“Fria.” Fria smiled and her eyes started to glow as she held May's arm, the world around them seemed to stop. “May is such a pretty name.”
May froze as she looked around at the snowflakes that held in place. “What’s going on?”
“We both know I’m not going to make it, so I’m bestowing you a gift.” Fria closed her eyes and took a breath as she felt her power move from her to May. The fire in her eyes began to fade as she opened her eyes once more and watched golden flames ignite in May’s. “A thank you for what you’ve done.”
“I.. I dont understand.” May stood up and watched as the snow around her began to fall again, panic started to take over and the storm overhead began to enrage. The wind picked up as the temperature dropped. Wet flakes of snow became rigid slivers of icicles that fell from the sky, pelting and shattering against anything they hit. All May could do was hold the woman close to protect her and rush to the nearest hospital. “I’m not letting you go yet!”
“May watch out!”
May froze as a glyph stopped her from getting hit by a truck that sped through the road, her legs shook as she took a few breaths. “I… I cant stop…”
Winter rushed over and pulled May into some cover and sighed. “What do you think you’re doing? Cant you see the storm has gotten worse and your aura-” She paused as she looked into May’s eyes and watched as the flames started to die down along with the storm. “What’s going on?”
“I… I dont know… I need to get this woman to the hospital but storm… the storm grew worse when she talked to me and I… I…” May took a few breaths to calm down as she looked at Winter and finally steadied herself. “What’s happening to me?”
Winter sighed and listened to the sound of an airship fly overhead and land in the alleyway. “I dont know, but I have a feeling Ironwood might.”
May slowly nodded and looked down at the woman in her arms. “Just until we know what’s going on.”

Slavic Spring Deities (Post no.1)
Vesna and Kresnik (Vesnik)
Vesna
(VEES-nah) “Lady Spring”, “Lady of Spring Resurrection”, or “The White Maiden of May”
There are about 15 other names for this deity, the ones that I will focus on in this post in particular are:
Vesna
Name that means Spring
Derived from the Proto-Indo-European “wésr” meaning Spring.
Zlata Maja
Name means “Golden Mother of Life”
Zlatogorka
Name means “Golden Hill”
Marjetica
Name means “Daisy”
Fun fact! The daisy is also a sacred flower of the Norse goddess Freya!
She is a glowing radiant goddess, often described as having long golden hair. Vesna is also associated with the day that the Swallows return on approximately March 9th called Strinenija. At this point in the year, another goddess named Striga(Mora, or Morana) would be reborn as this Spring Goddess. The dates however, will vary depending on the climatic differences in the various Slavic countries.
She loves music, dance and song; as well as sensual pleasures (intercourse). She bedecks herself with a flower crown, and the land itself with beautiful flowers. She may be found naked dancing in a meadow, happily surrounded by birds and butterflies.
Like all the tales of Slavic Deities, she too can change her form to the animals she most connects with. These animals happen to be white birds, rabbits, or singing larks. These are also her messengers!

There’s about 11 names for this Deity!
In folktales, Kresnik can transform into a bird, or really any shape he pleases; or become invisible! He rides in a golden carriage across the sky on a winged horse. We see him in Slovene folk tales wielding a “golden axe” and causing lightning.
Like his female counterpart (or in some tales she is his partner or twin), he too has golden hair (and mustache), he is bright and radiantly handsome; however he is sometimes described to have golden hands (sometimes going as far as to have golden wings).
Oh! And, he lives on a golden mountain where there grows an apple tree; but it’s not just any old run of the mill apple tree—it holds the golden apples of immortality! (Are you sick of the word “GOLDEN” yet?)
The firefly is a sacred animal to him, and I’ll let you guess why.
Quick Facts!
Sacred day, time, or holiday: Spring Equinox, May 6th, Summer Solstice (June 21 or 22), and oddly enough, December 6th and the Winter Solstice. In short, the Winter Solstice was considered his “birthday,” and then he was celebrated at the Summer Solstice with bonfires!

so winter is the winter maiden, raven is the spring maiden, cinder Fall is the fall maiden, and then our (hot) girl Summer has been haunting the narrative all along so she's almost definitely involved. it's so much fun to think about! is summer already the summer maiden, or will that somehow happen later? is raven meant to be a spring-themed name, or is she going to die soon after meeting a new friend named Spring? personally I'm rooting for spring maiden May Marigold. that would be AWESOME.
but do you think there will end up being a team of four maidens in addition to team rwby, or will team rwby tragically end up receiving all the maiden powers? winter would give her powers to weiss, yang and ruby have raven and summer family relations, but then there's Blake and Cinder and i just can't imagine cinder dying before finishing her redemption/betrayal character arc, or after it for that matter. ooh i hope we get to find out someday

Ok, weird idea, but hear me out.
It all started with me calling my Drunk Elephant cream "Drunk Mûmakil" cream instead.
I will post a series of reviews of real products that I own/have tried, but from the point of view of LOTR characters. Here are the ones I have so far:
Aveda haircare products by Elf-maiden Nisilë and her Gondorean husband (my and my husband's self-insert OCs)
Sézane clothing by Gollum (this will make sense once you see it, I promise)

As Ruby, Yang, and their new friends slip deeper into the darkness of Remnant’s hex-filled underworld, they’ll learn that Weiss isn’t the only one in danger. It looks like the Ali Project Fan Club first meeting was at "L’epoque des ZAZOUS" at STAR PINE’S CAFE, 2000.2.24.
According to the 5.25.2000 pamphlet, the STAR PINE'S CAFE show should have been 8.5.2000 unless it was delayed, confirming this performance to be L’epoque des ZAZOUS.

This is a PV-like version of the same video as the live video 198824 (198824 was released in 2000). (The opening illustration is by Kamui Fujiwara, a manga artist who was a friend of mine at the time. The illustration at the end is by Arika.
蟻プロジェクト 198824 was recorded February 4. 1988. According to this wikipedia it was released on VHS on March 3, 2000. If you look at the L’epoque des ZAZOUS paperwork, you can see the VHS even being advertised for mail order purchase.

I've been merging the mp3's into one very large concert mp3 that plays the songs back to back, no dead air, this would be paired with a track list with additional information.
I've also been trying to find other information about the 3 events, maybe even pictures from it but it seems futile as all my resources have lead to dead ends.
To be honest, this is the best find for an ALI PROJECT/CLAMP fan, it's right in the window of their collaborations of Clamp School Detectives and Wish, which we have not had that much information over the years... and this has been an "on and off " search since I saw the Wish Opening animation in 1998.
Now... if we would only get the advertisement for "Wish Live".

Winter watched from a balcony as May used ice and fire with her staff in order to take out a few of the Atlas drones she was pit up against. Machine limbs and weapons littered the arena that May had started to fight in and all Winter could do was watch as Ironwood gave May instruction after instruction.”
“That’s enough, Specialist Marigold.” Ironwood’s voice echoed through the arena. “You can stand down now.”
Winter sighed and watched as May started to walk off the arena. “SIr, dont you think you’re being a bit rough on her?”
“She’s the winter maiden now,” Ironwood said calmly. “She doesnt have the luxury of easing up on her training. There are people out there that if they find out about her, they’ll do whatever they can to get their hands on those powers she now has.”
“And if this is supposed to be a secret, why am I allowed to know?”
“Because you’re going to be the one to protect her. And, hopefully be the one that ends up with the powers when she’s killed.”
Winter felt her heart sink as she listened to Ironwood. The idea that she’d lose May wasnt a thought she’d want to dwell on, nor the fact that she’d be the one to keep her safe if she was attacked. Which meant that if anything did happen, it would then be her fault. Her voice shook as she spoke again. “And… if I decline, sir?”
“You dont get to.”
Winter let out a sigh, her eyes still glued on May until she left the arena. Once she could no longer see May below her, she closed her eyes and took a deep breath as she listened to Ironwood’s boots against the tile floor and the door closing behind him. After a few minutes of composing herself, she made her way down to the locker room, hoping May would still be there.
The heels of her boots clicked as she walked down the empty hallways, her breathing seemed to stutter as she pulled out her scroll to watch the map of the lower areas of the base. She was still unfamiliar with the catacomb-like halls that roamed below the main building where May was kept. At the end of the hallway, Winter was greeted to a small panel to scan her hand for entry. The only way in or out of this area and as far as she knew, only she and Ironwood had the access to make their way this far. She placed her hand on the scanner and waited for the light to go green, her eyes looking up at the camera that seemed to watch her every move.
As the scanner chimed her entry, the door opened to let Winter into the hallway and to the locker room just outside the arena. She dodged a piece of ice that flew from the other side as May yelled and grunted.
“Damn General and his fucking rules!” May slammed her hand against a locker and froze it solid just before she shattered it with her staff. With a panting breath, she dropped her staff and sat down in front of the shattered, frozen metal. “I cant take it here anymore!”
“Then… maybe its time we get you out of here,” Winter said as she slowly made her way to May.
May quickly stood up and smiled at Winter and rushed over to hug her. “Winter!”
Winter slowly put her hand on May’s back. “I know, its been a while.”
“Three months. I havent been allowed to see you for three months!” May slowly pulled back and paused as she looked Winter over. “You’re… not here to just see me, are you?”
“If the general can have his way, you’ll be locked up here for your own safety so nothing happens to you or the powers that you hold.”
“Right…”
“But… I’m going to get you out of here.” Winter sighed and looked around the room. “This is no way for you to be held and… maybe you’re right, Atlas isnt exactly treating Mantle well, but I still have a duty here. You… dont.”
May looked at Winter curiously. “So… what do you have in mind?”
“You said you wanted to join the Happy Huntresses, right?”
May paused, then grinned at the thought. “Tell me what to do and I’ll be ready.”

Sirens blared through the hallways as the emergency lights kicked on after a few explosions near the base of Atlas. May pulled a hood over her head as she ran with Fiona, still nervous about the plan. Though despite all the noise, she kept herself breathing steady as the two made their way through the base as quietly as they could. “Now where?”
“According to the map Winter gave us, we’ll take a right here and then a left after the fifth hallway.” Fiona put her scroll away and watched as the doors near the command center shut loudly next to them. “Robyn will be waiting for us in the hangar.”
“Do I even want to know how three of you managed to cause this much trouble?”
“We’ll talk more once we get you out of here!” Fiona quickly pulled May to the wall to avoid a few soldiers that rushed down the halls. “And werent you the one who said that your semblance cant mask our voices?”
May rolled her eyes and waited for the patrols to leave before she started to make her way forward again. Everything had moved so fast from the first explosion, to the blackout, and then the whole base almost seemed to rock. As the hangar came into view, she paused as she saw the airship that Robyn was waiting for them in. “You have got to be kidding.”
Fiona rushed over to the old cargo ship. “You can complain later, for now, this will work.”
May followed after and ducked in just as a few soldiers had started to make their way to the hangar. She closed her eyes and focused on her semblance once more as the airship started to turn invisible once it started moving.
Fiona relaxed and smiled at May. “You know, you didnt do half bad. When Winter came to us, we thought it was going to be a trick.”
“Speaking of, she mentioned you had something the general wants,” Robyn turned around as put on the autopilot of the airship to make its way down to Mantle. She looked May over and frowned. “So, what exactly did we put a target on our backs for?”
May opened her eyes, golden fire spouted from them as she held her semblance. “Its… something we’re better off talking about when we’re safe.”
Robyn nodded and turned to face forward to watch for an empty lot to ditch the ship. “Then I guess we’ll have a while to talk about it before we start helping Mantle.”
May dropped her semblance out of surprise. “W-wait, what?”
“That girlfriend of yours made quite the case of helping you out. So, there’s one thing I want to make sure of before we land.” Robyn held out her hand to May. “Do you really want to help Mantle?”
May slowly took Robyn’s hand and nodded. “It’s where I belong and the one thing I can do the most good. I want to help Mantle any way I can.”
Robyn smiled as her semblance started to make her hand glow green. “Then welcome to the Happy Huntresses, May.”

My Favorite Headcanon for Hellebore?
Opposing rich families decide to “merge their business ventures” and shove their kids together.
The kids are against it but become friends anyway and “play along” so they can get some freedom to their lives.
Both decide to make a play to enlist in Atlas Academy to further escape their families and help others.
The families reluctantly agree because “it could look good for business” to have their heirs become huntspersons.
Academy changes both of them because they are immediately put on a pedestal by Ironwood and fastlined for the AceOps/Specialist program.
The more the two work together, the more they actually begin to love each other.
It’s short lived, though, as upon graduation they’re both offered Specialist ranks and May opts out after raising concerns of how she’s seen Atlas treat Mantle up close over the last few years.
Winter pushes back saying they can do more good as specialists, May disagrees, words are had between the three, and May leaves for Mantle after her family is called in because of “personal problems with their child” and is subsequently disowned.
May rediscovers former graduate Robyn Hill, the two hit it off after May explains what happened, Robyn proposes an alliance with her, Joanna (who’ve been active for a few years now) and their newest recruit a recent graduate (Fiona).
Some time passes, May finds “herself” and becomes May - The Happy Huntresses are born. (Or, personal preference, the “Very Happy Huntresses” are born.)
Years pass and every so often May and Winter have fleeting moments together when tensions are high between Mantle and Atlas, still not seeing eye to eye. Both wanting the other to see reason and drop what they’re doing and come join the other again.
Then V7 and V8 happen.
After that Winter Maiden Winter Schnee and Defacto Leader of the Happy Huntresses May Marigold meet at their lowest point since graduation, put their personal disagreements aside, help settle the refugees… and then, after weeks of high tension between the two and a lot of awkward glances and moments, they actually finally get together for real.

It’s a weird thing because I 109% understand the schnee hate even tho non if the living schnee’s deserve it, frankly they should speed it to the other wealthy atlesians who almost definitely are still pieces of shit, but I guess the schnee’s are easier targets, but idk man send se of that hate to the marigolds, may will happily join you.
Although what really sucks is the schnee who truly deserves that hate got kills by ironwood
James took that pleasure from those who deserved it,
It's understandable although definitely not something Willow or any of her children deserve.
I wonder if there are any wealthy Atlesians any more after Atlas fell. I guess those who had plenty of cash or lien in bank accounts might still have it. The Marigolds who aren't May definitely deserve something, although they might argue that being reduced to refugees in Vacuo is bad enough. Presuming they got out of Atlas.
Kind of a pity that Jacques wasn't dragged to Vacuo to face justice rather than summary execution, and to experience the hate he earned for the Schnees for himself.
Ironwood robbed them, and I'm not sure anyone knows it was him and not just Jacques being caught up in the fall of Atlas. I can't remember if he mentioned it to Winter during their fight right before she became the Winter Maiden.
