Hey, so I saw you just did a crapton of asks so if you wait a while to answer this I completely understand.

The ask you answered about L. Eclipse flat out ignoring a... very forward suitor (COUgh cough me too buddy Cough cough) made me curious how our favorite boy acts when interacting with his subjects.

mans made a whole universe full of people, likely for reasons outside of just torturing sun and the others, so surely he atleast planned on socializing (or just.. didn't think ahead?)

Does he interact with them positively? Does he interact at all?

Also, completely unrelated, you posts about computer guts has got me thinking about what his internals must look like melded with his centipede stuff, and now i'm having blorbo thoughts about it.

AAAAHAIAHJQHSJWD THIS IS SOMETHING I'VE BOTH THOUGHT SO MUCH ABOUT BUT ALSO HAVE VERY LOOSE DETAILS ABOUT TBH LMAOOO

I have two main scenarios though!!! The first is that during the start, he was a very active apart of his "community" and would drink up as much of the attention as humanly possible! Over time, though, the boredom starts to kick in and he spends less and less time around his other followers, eventually only allowing Sunvant to see him.

The second scenario, though, is that he's able to find a balance between keeping up a good image to his followers—not in centipede form, mind you—but the moment the doors are closed and it's only Sun who will witness his wrath, it's time to boogie!!! 🐛🐛🐛

So generally, yes, he treats most of his followers decently because that will ensure they will stay loyal and they will also shower him in praise! The level of interaction just depends on how silly I wanna get LOL

There are still dissenters, though! Which is only natural, Lord Eclipse can't gain everyone's love via fear. Mysteriously, though, the more vocal ones always seem to go missing... I wonder what's up with that?

i'm just so tired of people in fandom making art of fat characters, but not even bothering to try to properly draw fat people. people gush about these characters but then draw them having thin faces and defined jaws, double chin magically gone. not to mention limbs (most often arms) and hands being really disproportionate and looking like they belong to a thin person.

practice !! you don't have to post all things you ever draw. you can practice drawing fat people and it's okay if it looks bad at first. but it disgusts me so much to see people talking about loving a character so much, and then not even properly drawing them. consistently. it's disrespectful as hell.

and then with art that intends to portray the fat character in a sexy way, the waist is often narrowed for no reason at all. i've seen many people act like it's more 'tasteful' to draw fat people as "thicc" rather than just.... fat.... like do you actually care about the character? is the reality of the character something that is important to you? do you care about real human beings? it sends a message when you draw characters this way. other fat people will see the art and think "wow yet another person in this community who doesn't give a shit about fat people". not to mention how it disrespects the actual actors.

also using the word "chubby" is not as neutral and Kind as you seem to think it is. it feels infantilising and like you're too scared to admit you're attracted to -gasp- Fat people so you have to use a playful word that implies not a great amount of body fat., dont call people squishy. and there feels like a specific trend of saying fat people look kind and like they'd give nice hugs can i just say that feels very dehumanising and kinda objectifying .

#hardly ever rant about this stuff but i have just. been trying to look at various fan art #and i am met with shitty art that simply baffles me #i'm not huge on fandom stuff or being involved at all. but this makes me want to never see community contributions again #i hate the hipocrosy of people being all Woww look at guillermo he's such a rare example of a well written fat character #and being legitimately portrayed as attractive and cool #and then they......... draw him in such scary unrecognisable Skinny ways . .#it's not offensive to recognise and portray a character/actor's double chin and stomach ..!#it's horrible and gross when you avoid drawing it properly 👍 youre embarrassing #and dear god please remember fat is distributed not Only in the face and stomach.... fat people generally don't have defined clavicles....#it's on the shoulders too. and on the back. and remember not to draw the legs scarily long just because it looks disproportionate to you #that's one of the really common mistakes i've noticed. people draw fat people with scary long legs #and like. the thighs touch each other all the time. this isn't the sims 4 okay it's basically impossible for fat people to have thigh gaps
