husk spits out his drink as alastor speaks, covering angel in alcohol. "your WHAT!?" you hide your face as calamity ensues, everyone trying to speak over eachother at the insane news. This time he is the one that shoots it first, “mm you look great with those pants on… bet you’d look even better with them off.” And he scoops you up into his lap to press your foreheads together and pepper sweet little kisses on your reddening cheeks.
Amidst your happy noises as he delivers his affection, you ask him what he’s doing. To which he replies, “the better question is what you were doing?”

He’s definitely amused! Perhaps even too interested in the silly quips leaving your lips. When you capture his attention with the first cheesy line, he gives you his full attention as he tries to process what you mean when you say that his father “must be a baker” because of his “nice set of buns”? You know that his dad is most certainly not a baker.
When he realizes that you’re talking about his booty he flushes a little and laughs, asking you how you even came up with that. You quickly tell him another pick-up line, following it with a playful wink as you circle around him.
He’d be there to listen to as many dumb pick up lines as you can think of because he’s having fun when you’re having fun tbh; when he tries to come up with his own, they’re just a little awkward and sound more like just plain compliments because he isn’t quite as witty as you (he seems honest to a fault, and in turn not sly and conniving enough to be funny on command like this lol)
He ends up more fascinated than he really should be about the pathos and ethos of the cheesy lines, and you're going to have only yourself to blame when he masters them and uses them on you another day.

He can’t even pretend to hate them because he’s a cheesy mf ngl he’d probably start laughing his ass off!! He doubles over just a little and suddenly he wants to pick your brain even more than usual. What’s gotten you into this odd mood? Were you bored? Were you trying this for his attention? In such an awful way? His cool facade is cracked only by the completely absurd, and you were bringing that to the table.
He doesn’t quite fire back with his own cheesy pick-up lines, but he’s just a little too receptive to them. “My shirt? Significant other material-” is met with a satisfied hum and a light flip of the hair as he leans over you and a gloved hand slides up to tug at your top. “I agree,” he muses, catlike eyes hooded and unblinking as they scan over your upper half.
Suddenly, you wonder if he’s misreading the room, or if you’re misreading the room… or if he’s just trying to outweird you. The moment his hands cup your waist, you gasp and your face flushes. He notices your pupils dilating and heart rate picking up.
Then the bastard lets go of you and laughs to himself even HARDER?!?!! He found your cheesy pick-up lines absolutely hilarious, but to him there is nothing more amusing (and heartwarming) than messing with you.
He swears he's laughing with you and not at you, but you know that you're his favourite butt of any joke between the two of you... and also his favourite butt (Mukuro grabby hands) <3

-Sasara knows how painful it can be, not being able to control your negative thoughts that keep growing and growing inside your head, displacing all hope and happiness. And he doesn't want you to feel the same.
-Oh, this is one of the rare occasions when he completely forgot about his goofy behavior.
-"Here, here, s/o, look at me.." - he quickly gets closer and holds your hands tightly. - "Look, I'm here, everything will be alright now.. Come closer.."
-Honestly, Sasara gets used to just closing his eyes at his own troubles and just throwing jokes in it, thinking it would be enough to not feel them, but he just can't make fun of your stress.
-More so, he also doesn't want you to repeat this unhealthy pattern from him, telling that you should always call him when feel bad, even when he's performancing. If he can't be near you in this moment he at least would try to soothe you through phone.
-Would ask about all things that bother you, even about something small. Sasara know that sometimes small minor stuff exactly the reason why you get overwhelmed, affect you more than something big, that why he's ready to think about all your problems equally carefully. You can vent to him for whole evening, he can be not only good talker but also a good listener.
-It's just hurt his heart, to see you crying that much, curled up on his chest, so Sasara would do anything to cheer you up.
-Would check on you more often after your first panic attack, as Sasara doesn't want it to be a causal part of your life.
-"Feels a little better?" - he whisper softly, caressing your hair. - "Okay, then what do you think about dinner? I will make your favorite dish today, and you just sit and relax on kitchen while I'm cooking.."
-Honestly it takes him a lot of strength not to start panicking too.
-But he absolutely understands you at this moment, due to how much stress Doppo has on his work. His everyday life is full of negative thoughts but he doesn't want you to feel the same even for a few minutes.
-He knows some techniques that can quickly calm you down and distract you from the bad things, as he himself uses them very often.
-"S/o, s/o, look at me..!" - he grabs your shoulders, trying to calm down his own chills. - "Come on, five things you can see? Okay, me, your phone, and..?"
-Also, you always help him when he feels drained and empty, so that means he should pay you the same favor. Many cuddles and soft kisses as he knows how much it can soothe the body and soul. (And of course he just wants to be as close as he can to you, over worried about your well-being)
-Despite Doppo always throwing away his problems and not really trying to solve them, he's willing to listen to your cries. You're different, after all, and he is ready to think hard to help you in any way he can, just to see you smile again.
-It doesn't matter how tired he is today, he will sit by your side as long as you need, arms not leaving your trembling body even for a second as he keeps caressing your arms or hugging your shoulders. Doppo just wants to show through every action that he's right here for you, and always would be here.
-"It's okay, s/o.. We all have bad days. B-but now you have me..!" - he takes your hands and squeezes it a little bit. - "As your boyfriend, I will make sure to work hard to reduce your problems to zero.. Just believe in me, I will do everything I can for you..!"
-Will also ask Jakurai to recommend a good psychologist who's will help you to get through it.
-Surprisingly caring and soft when you have anxiety attacks.
-Rei's an old man, after all. He gets through many hard things in his life and knows how to quickly calm down all negative thoughts in his minds and how to soothe a trembling body from all these chills.
-"Come here, s/o..There.." - he quickly embraced you, letting you rest your head on his chest. It doesn't matter if you will make his shirt wet with your tears, he doesn't mind. - "There, I'm with you, okay? You're safe now.."
-In your casual simple bad days he would just spoil you with some presents or a little date in a restaurant, but today Rei wants to show his more gentle side and just sit at home with you.
-Well, it IS kinda hard for him, as he gets used to only having fun with his quick affairs, without any worries about his lover's state. But he sees the relationship with you as something more intimate, as you get much closer to his heart than any other person, and he wants to learn again how to properly show his care and love.
-So you can vent to Rei even for the whole evening, he will listen carefully to all your problems, slowly caressing your back with his warm hands.
-And of course he's willing to help, as for him solving all your problems is just one of the ways to show how much you mean to him. But he wouldn't tell you how exactly, as this cunning con man doesn't want you to worry even more.
-Will try to spend more quality time with you all alone, no clubs or restaurants, so you would relax more in his company.
-"Mm, don't worry that much, s/o. I would take care of all your problems.." - Rei nods and looks at you with a small smile. - "But only if you smile again and promise me to never keep it to yourself, okay? Always tell me when you feel that bad.."

you and tooru came back home to Japan for a quick visit cause your big baby missed his family and his bros. so today you were at a club with the boys and their partners having fun and enjoying your youth. you danced a little with iwa, matssun and their girls then you joined oikawa, makki and his girlfriend in the booth. the boys were talking about Argentina so you joined them talking about the cool weather and showing them pictures you took when you go to those dates when you exploring new places "this pic we took it last month, it's not that far from our place but we only discover it lately" "OMG how do you have this energy to talk this much" makki's girl spoke a little bit harsher than she meant, maybe the alcohol did its affect you assume not wanting to make a big deal but the boys didn't want this to slide, makki's first when he glared at her telling her to be nicer and then oikawa said with his annoying attractive smirk "aw are you jealous of my baby ? she has this amazing energy that whenever she talks steal the attention of whoever listening, makes them interested with the topic even she telling them about a cartoon show" his features softened when he glances at you "i actually fell in with her from the very first encounter between us when she was talking about her cat" you smiled to yourself remembering the first time you met tooru, you just moved in next to him and your cat run to his house when he accidentally left his door open. after that the girl apologized felling guilty for ruining the mood.

you two were having a date in your favorite coffeeshop relaxing after having a long week. after a while one of Keiji's former classmates entered the place and as soon as he saw your husband he joined you to catch up with him. so when the conversation is now about you two and how you met you started telling him about how you met him and how he asked you out and how he proposed "he was so nervous he almost dropped the ring twice" you said grinning to your husband remembering the precious little memories "but Keiji i didn't expect to see with someone talk this much, i thought you liked girls on the calm side like yourself" his 'old friend' said with a chuckle only to be cut by akkashi "well that's the point, we're totally the opposite yet we understand each other the most, it's like we complete each other with this difference, i really like to hear her talk all time about anything and everything" keiji took your hand in his and brought it to his lips kissing your knuckles sweetly, the other man smiled as he apologized explaining he doesn't meant anything bad excusing himself to let you go back to your little date.
ATSUMU MIYA:
It's only a few days left and the new season begin and then atsumu is gonna have to travel a lot due to the games held in other countries. So of course your fake blond boyfriend is going to visit his twin's restaurant to eat his favorite food as much as he can before iwaizumi know about this unprofessional, unhealthy behavior. While he was having his way with the plate in front of him you were talking with osamu telling him about the adventures you and tsumu went through during the vacation in some beautiful island. "And then we dive in so deep in the ocean and your stupid brother told me he saw a mermaid just to scare me" osamu was laughing at his idiot twin when A Friend of Osamu's showed up laughing at what you said "and i thought atsumu is the talkative one in the relationship" this said friend blurred out his joke a little bit meaner than he intended to, the plate is long forgotten when atsumu looked the guy upside down then he answered with the coldest tone he can master "and what that supposed to mean ?". The guy shook his head smiling "it doesn't mean anything buddy, really it's just nice that you have someone like you", at the explanation atsumu looked like he calmed a little then smiled at you, winking playfully "yeah you're right about that".

I have THOUGHTS about Leon and a an s/o in STEM. Especially if it’s medical research/virology/CDC type career.
Maybe he visits you in your lab and you’re wearing a lab coat. The first thing he thinks isn’t “omg they’re so cute in their coat” it is “Birkin”
There’s automatic distrust with your research. He doesn’t mean to, but after everything he’s been through? He sees all potential biology advances to be something that can go horribly wrong.
He listens when you info dump about your research. He’s interested, but not out of pride or genuine interest. He listens to make sure that nothing can go wrong. No one will mutate. No zombies will come out of your protocols.
He doesn’t mean to. He really loves you and is proud of you. But god damnit, he just has to be on guard with scientists.
Like, if you invite him to go with you to a conference or meeting? He’s going to analyze everyone there. He tries to memorize who you speak to incase their face comes up in one of his future missions.
He will celebrate when you publish your papers, get a grant or invited to present somewhere. He IS proud of you. He really is.
But in the back of his mind is a constant nagging of “what if…”

But I agree with you 100%, I feel like even though Leon is considerate and also smart enough to know the difference between right and wrong, he would develop a big distrust to the government and all of its branches.
I mean, he was basically groomed to become a killing machine, he knows the inside outs of the government, knows that everything is a lie. So the same would apply to healthcare and anything dealing with biology/viral research.
After the events of Raccoon City, he’s seen what happens when viruses and all of these biological weapons get into the wrong hands. He watched a whole city become annihilated by a virus and the government left people to die, while he had to partake in killing them for his own survival. It isn’t that science and this research is inherently bad, but moreso he doesn’t trust the intentions of making these things in the first place.
You could be doing revolutionary research to find the cure to Alzheimer’s or cancer, and in the back of Leon’s mind, he’s thinking about every way that research can fail or be manipulated for the worst. He knows you have a good heart, that you’re doing it for the greater good, and Leon pretends to understand that for your sake. But the truth is that “greater good” stuff is bullshit. The whole idea of having some patriotic honor and duty to the government and thus the world falls short as a result of his personal experiences and traumas:
He was like that once, thought that he was doing the world a favor by becoming a cop and helping people. Once that blew up in his face, he doesn’t believe there’s such thing as a pure heart in this world especially if you’re doing this type of work. Leon will still be a good partner, will go to your conferences in moral support and be disgusted surrounded by so many white coats. He’s silently thinking about how many Birkins are amongst them, how many people are trying to gain control by preying on the most vulnerable.
He loves you, he’s proud of all of your accomplishments especially in male dominated STEM fields, and he knows you want to use your research to give the world something that’s needed to advance humanity.
Still, no matter how many times you reassure Leon that you’re not one of the bad guys, he’s waiting for the ticking time bomb in his head to go off once everything falls apart.

Bakugou:
When you first got hurt our little tsundere Bakugou here was in fake annoyance, but of course he was actually worried about you
He made sure you would rest and keep your foot elevated to help it heal as he brought you everything you needed with a slight grunt and a worried frown on his face
He would 100% scold you and lecture you about how clumsy and stupid you were to sprain your ankle in the most idiotic way; you didn’t even get it while doing hero work, he’s not impressed (deep down that’s that last thing he’s worried about, not that he’d ever verbally express that to you though…)
“Oi, sit the hell down,” he huffs, stopping whatever it was that he was doing as he hears you shuffle, “Tell me what you need.”
He cares a lot about you and will take care of you until your ankle is fully healed and waves you off if you tell him you’re fine as you feel guilty for keeping him busy when he’s already super occupied with hero work and everything else in his life
If you ever bring up wanting to go back to work with your ankle still swollen and you were still in pain, he would NOT let you leave
He’d call your job for you and tell them the situation so they know you can’t come in, as he scowls at you like…are you really that stupid? Rest you idiot
Bakugou helps you out whenever he’s around, but if he has to leave for work of his own or for something important, he gives you specific instructions to follow and you better listen to them because he’ll somehow know if you got up without your crutches to go to the bathroom or if you even thought about going outside without him in your condition
It’s all tough love though, he care about you deeply even though he hardly ever says it verbally, his actions always bleed love for you
He just wants you to get better quickly so he doesn’t have to be so cautious around you and so he can stop worrying about you while he’s out
He also hates seeing you in pain and sometimes wishes he could transfer your injury over to himself if it meant you’d be healed :’)
Kirishima:
Kirishima is a total angel about the whole thing
When you first tell him what happened and show him the brace wrapped around your ankle to help aid the recovery, he has those super cute, sad eyes that he directs at your ankle and leans down to press ‘healing’ kisses to your injury
Yes, sprains really aren’t a big deal and are way better than actually breaking your ankle, but it was still a big deal to him, seeing his lover in pain and injured in any way
Like Bakugou, Kiri is ready to serve and take care of you, but in a more obvious and overly affectionate way
You’re ready to eat? He’ll order you some food and literally start feeding you even if your hands are completely fine, he wants to be as helpful and attentive as possible
“Uh, babe? I didn’t hurt my hands, I can feed myself,” you awkwardly tell him
“Shh it’s okay, it’s best if you rest your whole body so you can heal even faster. Don’t worry, I’ll take care of you. I really don’t mind,” he smiles, continuing to feed you.
Need help washing up? He’ll help you out, respectfully
Carries you on his back if you need to go to a different part of your home and would carry you around even if you go outside, but you stop him from doing that, claiming it would be too embarrassing to be carried everywhere when your injury wasn’t even that big of a deal
He’s lowkey shocked that you don’t see how serious your injury is (it really isn’t) and gets all pouty that you won’t let him carry you, but he’ll get over it quickly
The next day you’re up and ready to go to work and Kirishima’s just like ???? no you’re not. Are you crazy? How will you heal properly if you’re going to be on your feet all day at work?
But he’s respectful about what you choose to do, he just wants you to know that he’s against you going to work with your injury and advises you to stay home at least for a few more days so you can fully rest
If you still decide to go to work after that though, then he’d follow you there and inform your boss so they know to give you only simple tasks that you can do while sitting
He’s very worried and very caring the whole time but you’ll be receiving tons of love from him so enjoy it! Every moment with Kirishima is a great one, with or without an injury.

This is to the mod. I forgot to say this way earlier and kept putting off actually doing it cause bad memory and brain being weird, but I adore how you write/interact as Astarion! You don’t try and push his response to lean in favor towards things he wouldn’t normally respond that way to, such as, for example, my first ask! You have him still with his own personal thoughts and characteristics, being true to how he is without trying to push towards what would be considered a more ‘favorable’ response! I love how you captured his character and portray him and have him be true to himself instead of trying to force things! I don’t really know if this makes sense, but hopefully it does?
And really, please don’t worry about updates and such on this blog when irl things are getting in the way or are demanding predominance. You have your own life outside of the blog, out side of offline, and you chose to create this blog so you could do/share your enjoyment of bg3 and Astarion with others. You don’t owe anyone an apology for irl stuff getting bad or stressful, you run this blog in your free time, you are by no means obligated to answer asks or do anything you don’t want to or don’t have the time or energy to. Hi it’s Ghost here, and omg you’re making me melt. You’re making a lot of sense, I get what you’re trying to say and thank you so much for saying that. I’m always a bit hesitant when roleplaying Astarion since he is a complicated shithead and his actions and words reflect that. And as much as I’d like to give people a favorable response, it just wouldn’t be him at all. It doesn’t feel right, and yes he’s a fictional character and he’s not real but… he’s spent so much of his life not being able to be himself and acts a certain way to be favorable to others. So I guess I’m trying my best to honor the character in a small way, although I don’t blame people writing him to be more favorable. He is a dickhead. Like that’s the point but Jesus, I’ve yelled at my computer screen so many times because of the things he’s disapproved of or the shit he does.

*sighs* His character is complicated, it isn’t nice, it isn’t easy, and it most certainly isn’t static. The reason why I love his character so much is because it hits so close to home and it feels so cathartic to watch him in action. I won’t get into here or at least not now, but Astarion makes me feel seen and that I don’t have to be a good person in order to heal. That being said his story serves as a cautionary tale about perpetuating the cycle of abuse, it’s utterly beautiful. He’s constantly shifting despite his stubbornness and flirtatious facade, which is what I’m hoping for in my portrayal of Astarion. I have to rewatch a lot of scenes and listen to his lines a lot just to get the character just right. I’ve roleplayed Astarion in a few voice call sessions with my friends actually, and it’s really fun! Sure I don’t have Neil Newbon’s wonderful accent and the picture perfect voice for him but it doesn’t matter, its the energy and feeling that does. And I read out my dialogue for these asks out loud in my Astarion voice lol, it’s not a good imitation by any means but it’s just my take on the character.
I’m constantly in awe of not only Neil Newbon’s performance but also the writers, the modelers, the artists, the directors, and the entire ensemble that all came together to create our favorite vampire spawn. Honestly it feels so surreal to have a character like Astarion in the world, but I hope there are many others that touch my heart this deeply like he did.
Don’t say that darling, as if they could ever compare to me.
Of course, you’ll always be my favorite. But one thing that always gets me is what Neil Newbon says about playing any of his characters, “I think the main thing is to not to judge a character, I don’t judge a character in good or bad terms. I don’t have villains or heroes, I play characters that are very complicated and have needs and wants and obstacles… You can’t judge the characters, you have to love them, support them on their journey even if you as a human being would never choose that. You have to honor what their story’s about, what their decisions would be based on what the amazing writers have done… you just have to love and support them and hug them through their journey without stopping them, you know?”
And we all know that Astarion needs all the hugs he can get. He’s very lovable even when he thinks that he isn’t. I want to have Astarion be a bit more vulnerable in future ask responses but at the same time, it really depends on the relationship because his whole arc is a slow burn for a reason. It’s literally like pulling teeth to get him to talk about and confront his feelings and issues. Trust me I’ve tried.
You hear a little scoff in the background.
Anyways if you’ve read all this, thank you. As you can tell, I think about Astarion a lot and I’ve always wanted to make an rp blog so I decided eh what the hell, let’s make an Astarion one. I’m blown away by how many of you like my posts and keep coming to see my take on Astarion. I deeply appreciate it and thank you for understanding. Yeah a lot of stuff is happening irl so responses won’t be as quick as I’d like them to be but hopefully it’ll clear up in the future. lol what if the first on screen byler kiss is actually like. a vecna induced hallucination on either of the boys. like . ohhhhh..... and then we as the audience is like. yas yeas yess yes !!! just to get fucking got . oh my god. i could see it happening to mike as like. a confirmation of his feelings and establishment to the GA of his Issues. especially coz like what if it's like the nancy bit where its not even clear if vecna is gonna like. kill him mikes just in the upsidedown and vecnas like... hey look at this 😈. oh Hell .
okay, listen. i LOVE these scenarios, but they're always ruined for me by the reminder that it would be vecna doing it. like when max thought she was hugging her mom and was instead hugging vecna, and when lucas was saying those mean things but when she hit him the illusion shattered and it was vecna. so like. if they kissed........ dbfjkhsbkfjhbds. you get me?
but! i do love the idea of the first confession going that way, which then prolongs the Actual confession. will is already in a weakened and fragile state going into season five, and i could see vecna preying on that just as he did in season two. on one hand, i don't think vecna is homophobic, but the way that he taunted max using lucas in their second interaction makes me think that he can get mean when trying to ensnare someone.
so maybe they're having a serious & intimate conversation together and mike says something incredibly heartfelt and sentimental as he often does, which makes us and will go AWWWWW 🥺🤧🫶💕💞 but then.. then.. mike gets mean. says something reminiscent of the rain fight's "what did you think, really?" + rink-o-mania's "we're friends! we're. friends." mentions how mike's life started after will went missing—that maybe asking him to be his friend wasn't the best thing he'd ever done after all. that this world would expect him to perform in its silly little play, just as it once asked him to, too. that there's no room for him here (no castle byers, the party joined hellfire club, he never received any calls or letters, etc etc), but... there would be room for him in their world. the one that they could build together, free of shame and hurt, where he would never feel like a mistake for being different. etc etc.
and as for mike... first of all, "mikes just in the upsidedown and vecnas like… hey look at this 😈." I HATE THAT THIS IS LITERALLY HOW IT WENT? LMAOOOOO. made me giggle.
but omg back to business here. the way that i see vecna targeting mike... aughhhh. listen. liiiiiiisten. it'd be a matryoshka dolls situation. the party is working together, planning, and getting ready to defeat vecna. they feel good about it, or at least as good as they can right now, and mike is temporarily separated from will (otherwise will would sense vecna, i think). we know that he's worried, we know that he's trying very hard to keep his promise—that they will kill vecna. maybe he looks down at will's old dnd figurine or something of his that he left behind, and it's then that we hear a familiar voice.
vecna knows that mike is doggedly determined—that vecna needs to hit them here, where it hurts most, if he's to defeat them and get what he wants ("[you're] what holds this party together. [...] without heart, we'd all fall apart"). so, his attack is as follows: he goes after mike's leadership ability -> what kind of a friend he's been -> the lies that he's told & the truths he won't face, effectively reducing mike to a lying fraud and stoking his imposter syndrome.
he's not a leader. how could he be, when he isn't even a good friend? when all he ever does is hurt the people he "cares about the most"? always trying to prove something, always torn between two poles. vecna's known many actors like mike—people who think that playing by the rules in this play will save them, absolve them of the hurt they've caused. there's a reason he feels so guilty, a reason that only they are privy to. friends don't lie, and yet all he does is lie. he lies to his parents. he lies to his friends. he lies to his girlfriend. he even lies to himself. and he knows that... doesn't he? what a pity that "the heart" can't even listen to his own.
and then !!!!!! at that high point, when the seed has been planted and thoroughly watered, we jolt back to the present. mike is clutching part of will in his hand. he's shaken, but—but he has to be strong. he has to keep going. it's—it's not true. he is the heart. will told him he is, and—and will never lies.
... right?

Match Ups are always so much fun!! It's been a while since I saw one. Omg, I hope you don't mind me participating (English is not my first language, and writing in English is my weakness 🥲 so I apologize for any mistakes!)

You mentioned history and my immediate thought went to: Dracula Mihawk, a man out of time.
He would adore your aesthetic of old fashion with colors and fun; it's honestly pretty close to his own. Mihawk is mature and bit stoic, but he's been shown to be very loyal, caring, and can crack a smile when it feels right.
He seems the type to also be fascinated by history, sociology, and the arts. He would be a collector, a man fascinated with how humans work and the beauties of life. He would be just as nosy as you, though, and he would love to peel apart your layers piece by piece and learn you so intimately.
Gift giving would also be his love language. Mihawk can be a man of few words at time, and he would cherish anything you got him and he would constantly be on the look out for unique things to gift to you. As a warlord he has connections; he'd find historical pieces, rare art, even gems to put in your hands and watch with curious fascination as you sorted through the history of what he's brought you.
Mihawk is a patient man. He could sit and listen to you talk about your passions for hours, he could take his time to learn who you are and what you love. There's no rush with him. He would happily dedicate all the time he could to letting you both learn about your love together.

😚What was your first kiss like?
Ohhh Charlotte!! Um, I was a nervous wreck. Jean will lie and say he wasn't but he totally was too. We started as just friends and wasn't sure how the other was feeling but both felt a change at some point. I was invited to a work party and asked Jean to come with me. I didn't need a plus one but thought of him right away. He said yes and and even though I introduced him as a friend everyone kept saying what a nice couple we were. We went along with it and it felt natural and at the end of the night while making sure I got in okay, Jean said we do make a good couple and might as well make it official... that goodnight kiss was our first and I didn't sleep a wink all night LOL.
😍 When or how did you realize you fell in love with your f/o? How or when did your f/o realize they fell in love with you?
I don't know if there is one moment exactly but let's see... I feel like I knew way before I realized it, you know? Lots of little things like Jean being nice to animals, seeing him interact with his mom, seeing him interact with my crazy family. I was having a hard week and though I tried to hide it, I was at my wits end. That Friday night I came home and Jean had let himself in (he had permission of course) and had my cats fed and made dinner and dessert and had already cleaned up the dishes. He had my sheets and towels washed, he didn't do my clothes cause that's more personal. The place was vacuumed, basically all the regular chores I would've had to do were done so I could relax. He served dinner and let me pick out a movie. I could've cried because I was so drained and he did everything for me. I think I might've realized then I was in love with him.
Jean will say he was always in love with me, and he may have been. I think he likes that I can argue with him without getting really upset. That I love him mom and let her teach me how to make all his favorites. The first time I really saw his eyes shine though that I would say he really knew, was after a night out with friends where some of the guys were messing with him cause they know he'll get annoyed. Usually it's all in fun but I could see he wasn't into it. I knew if I said something they'd heckle him more so I faked sick and asked to leave. On the way home I told him they were just playing and not to listen to those idiots (and a few other choice words no one ever really hears me say that made me actually laugh). At home we settled down quick and I cuddled him and I told him I'd tell them to their faces next time if he wanted. I think that moment he knew I'd always be on his side and if he wasn't sure about the L word before, he was then. (And yes I did tell them how stupid they were next time and Jean didn't mind, he loved it actually).
We just know how to comfort each other :)
🏝️ What would a beach date with your f/o look like?
I think that's the one you meant? 🏖 close enough LOL. Anyway, Jean has to talk me into going to the beach, he loves it but I'm not into sand, salty water or wearing a bathing suit. But one day we wind up going and I wear a bathing suit under a sun dress and we pack some snacks and head out. We find a spot for our things and leave our shoes behind and walk along the beach together during early morning. He sees movement in the water and this fool jumps into the water while I yell at him for his safety and don't go further. Turns out it's just some fish and he swims about and gets me to come in up to my knees but doesn't push me more. Soon we go back to our spot and lay out on the blanket and eat our snacks as more people arrive to the beach. If I was going to swim that chance is gone because I'm shy about bathing suits and Jean doesn't mind. He sets up an umbrella so I can hang back and read and he goes back in the water a bit. I'm soon smiling and laughing watching a group of young kids talk him into games in the water. Then they all invite us to play some ball and build castles on the sand so I join in too.
Generally beach days go like this, but every once in a while I work up the nerve to show off my bathing suit and Jean will hold me and bring me out into the water. Then all I have to worry about are sharks and seahorses :D
