Huh. An order for two people. So maybe he has someone. It’s an early morning on a Saturday, he’s probably going home to his person, and here Buck is with a crush on a man already in a relationship. He tries not to feel too disappointed, after all, they only talked a handful of times, it’s not like he’s that delusional, he knew it wouldn’t ever lead anywhere – he’s too chicken to make a move, anyway, which is unusual for him. There’s just something about Eddie. Clearly he’s not available, though.

“Alright, coming right up.” he smiles, it feels a little tight. Eddie frowns a little, but then Buck turns around and gets started.

“So, your sister is pretty cool.” Eddie remarks, breaking the silence between them. Buck instantly smiles, and turns his head towards Eddie.

In the zosan coffee shop au (that you can find a link to here), one day Zoro walked in and ordered something like a caramel macchiato with soy milk and three shots of espresso or something. And Sanji was on the counter. There was more people than usual that morning, there was no caramel left. He had to go to the back to get more but the inflow of people was too much and there was no one to take over.

Sanji: We're fresh out of caramel, I can offer you hazelnut or chocolate?

Zoro thinking for a moment: You know what? Make me something off the menu, whatever you think I'd like.

Sanji: Are you sure?

Zoro: Go wild.

Sanji got a bit of a spark in his eye as he started composing a masterpiece. He rarely got the chance the improvise so this was a small joy he appreciated greatly.

Sanji holding out a cup: Lavender with rose and white chocolate, whipped cream with rainbow sparkles to match your sparkling personality.

He said it with the tint of sarcasm but Zoro could hear his heartbeat in his ears. He thanked him and walked to a free table. Surprisingly, the drink was probably one of the best things he's tatsed.

From then on every time Zoro went to the coffee shop he started ordering "Sanji's special", which was always something different every time. Sanji could finally let out his artistic flair and Zoro got to watch the him in his element. In a sense he looked like he was dancing - beautiful, graceful and energetic.

i won’t hold people to the same standards i have on myself in terms of friendship bc everyone shows they care in different ways

#this is a part affirmation and part intro to a rant i need to unleash #but i’ll leave it in the tags here bc it feels safer lol #it’s abt my housemate the other day when we had our last class which is online but our previous classes were in person so as a class we #usually just pull it up on the main computer and broadcast the zoom in the classroom #but on this day the class before this zoom class got out early so lots of people went home early to just watch it on their own zoom or wtvr #so the row i sit in was pretty empty except for me my housemate and our two friends #and usually my housemate sits on my right but she got up and moved to sit on the other side next to our other friend and said nothing #and i didn’t want to say anything bc i was kinda sad/offended even though #her moving seats probably has nothing to do with me and much rather her personal preference i can’t help but think negatively abt myself #also one morning we were both off she went to the smoothie shop and coffee shop and just went to pick up her orders and i felt the same #reaction of like sad/offended bc she didn’t consider me at al like what if i wanted a smoothie too! TF #or coffee even though i don’t drink coffee anymore wtvr #my thoughts on her and my friendship are kinda rocky bc we feel so out of sync #i feel like she’s always in her own world and it’s hard to get through to her and become real friends #it’s whatever not all friendships can be deep and meaningful

According to Akutagawa – who told Chuuya, who told Dazai – Atsushi was always warm.

And it wasn’t that he always felt warm; he physically was a naturally warm person. Perfect for cuddles, according to Dazai – who told Chuuya, who told Akutagawa, and now the mafioso hadn’t spoken to him for three days.

But that was beside the point.

The point was, the Armed Detective Agency office was freezing today, and Dazai had it on good authority that their resident weretiger was the perfect solution.

“Atsushiiiii,” he called to the younger man, having followed him out of the office and to the lockers when the weretiger was about to go to lunch.

He pretended to miss the way Atsushi tensed up with anticipation at his call. It was like he used that tone of voice every time he was going to play a prank or something.

“Y-Yeah, Dazai?” Atsushi asked.

Deciding to really throw the young man off his game, Dazai flopped into him, wrapping his arms around him in a hug rather than say another word.

Atsushi froze again, but for a different reason this time. He seemed shocked, even as his arms came up to return the gesture.

“Dazai?” he asked in a gentler voice. “Is something wrong—AHA!!”

The brunette grinned as Atsushi began to wiggle in his arms, soft giggles spilling from his lips thanks to his fingers digging into his sides. “I’m so cold! Warm me up, Atsushi~”

“Ehehehehehehe, Dahahahahazai!” the weretiger whined, managing to squirm away for a split second before being drawn back into his boss’ tickly clutches, this time with his back to his chest so Dazai could reach around and scribble at his tummy. “EHEHEHEHEHEHE, NOHOHOHOHOHO!!”

“But you’re so warm! You’re like a personal heating pad,” Dazai teased, hugging him closer. “I just want to warm up.”

“Gehehehehehet a real heheheheheheating pad, thehehehehen! I hahahahahave to go – EEEK NOHOHOHOHO NOT THEHEHEHEHERE!!”

Dazai hummed as though confused, though the both of them knew he knew exactly what he was doing, wiggling a finger into Atsushi’s belly button like that. “I’m sure Akutagawa wouldn’t mind waiting a couple extra minutes. Stay and warm me up first, Atsushiiii~”

The poor weretiger ended up arriving at his lunch date with Akutagawa pink-faced and still a little giggly, and having to explain why he’d been tardy.

Akutagawa wasn’t surprised in the least.
