I just realized that Harvest Moon: LoH’s Edmond (aka my pretty mage husband) is probably SO touch-starved. The man lives alone in a house on the very top of a mountain, he’s lived more than 100 years without ever falling in love, his only semblance of family is two unrelated young adults that have moved on from needing his teaching, and he asks to hug you just because you fried him a single egg. He’s so poetic and romantic and he talks too much because he has so much he wants to share with people but for so long he has no one to give it to! I bet the first time the farmer brushed his hand while giving him a strawberry his heart skipped a beat and he realized just how great his desire was to feel someone’s skin against his own.

As Phil dashes through the forest, a sudden wave of energy washes over him.
W-Wha-
The lucario came to a complete stop, almost falling over but managed to stay upright
What.....What is this feeling?
Phil inquired as he raised his hand over his heart. Without even thinking, he turns around, looking skyward.
Huh.....
Looking up for a while, a smile slowly crawls onto Phil's face clutching the straps of his bag
Heh. Thanks....I....I hope that I can be someone like you in the future. I'm gonna do everything I can to make it happen
Finally done with his staring the lucario turns back around with a fierce look of determination on his face as he took back off toward his destination
Phil now has a strengthened resolve and great hope for his future.

Kappa stared coolly at the sky. She couldn’t help but smile at the overwhelming feelings that flowed through her body. Feelings that she thought would have been the last things she felt on her journey, riddled with anxiety and dread.
She felt peaceful. She felt hope.
Marigold, however, did not feel these things. She felt very, very concerned. There was a yellow explosion in the sky and her chaperone was SMILING at it? What has the world come to!
Kappa shook her head, realizing she was smiling like an idiot.
[Kappa]
“God, It’s fine, Marigold. It wasn’t a power spot explosion.”
[Marigold]
“Then what in the goddamn was it, smartass!?”
Kappa couldn’t reply. She didn’t know what it was herself but she as certain it wasn’t dangerous.
Walking out of the theatre, Nema felt it too. A surge of hope in her body. She watched the remains of the yellow surge drown in the sky. She almost felt compelled to drop her popcorn and chase it, if only she could fly.
Morelet, with his bags of food, freaked out behind Nema, quivering. Blasts in the sky like that are typically a sign to run and hide these days.
[Morelet]
“C-c’mon Nema. Stop staring at it and lets go find Kappa and Marigold. I don’t wanna be here anymore...”
Morelet whined as he pushed Nema toward the street and away from the sky.

"Takeo and Hanako and the rest of the team have all been very kind to me. I'm glad I have them....
But....
I miss my life back in my time. It wasn't perfect, but it was safe and I was comfortable. I miss my mom, dad, and brothers. I miss Kori and Donguri and the other members of the team. And...." Mukudori bites his lip, tears starting to form at the edges of his eyes, his normally happy demeanor suddenly gone. "I miss Komori...I- I don't know what I'm going to do without him..."
Mukudori straightens, seeming to cheer up a bit.
"...you know. I'm going to choose to be positive here- I'm going to choose to have hope," he says. "I believe I'll find a way back one day..."

Thought I’d write a little thing in response to @asksavel’s light of hope event!
As Snow and Gen watched the Sunrise together, both feeling upset from the problems that came from who they were. As the two stewed in their sorrows, they saw a yellow light in the distance, this strange light filled them with a surge of hope, giving them the strength to go on for another day.

The Indeedee stood stunned, as if having just been directly struck by lightning, except this one wasn’t that of divine retribution; but of an bolt of emotion flooding into her very body and soul. Hope, to be precise.
The Indeedee looked all around her in an attempt to find where the source of this emotion was coming from, her feet refusing to move an inch from where she stands. She knew it couldn’t be coming from Simon, the Raichu, Roserade or Alcremie, the effect would be way more intense than this if that were the case. When she couldn’t see who or what was giving off that energy, the gears in her mind starting turning...

(Wait... this sensation... it’s just like the one that Skitty subjected me to earlier, but I feel... Hopeful instead of Fearful? ...Is it possible? Can I really overcome that fear?)
