Music Of My Heart: Levy is the librarian at a school that is in danger of losing its music program due to budget cuts. When her car breaks down, she meets a gruff but ruggedly handsome mechanic named Gajeel who was once a relatively successful musician. She pleads with him to help her put together a fundraiser concert to save the school music program, but he refuses because he vowed to never play music again after the sudden and unexpected disappearance of his father. Levy does not give up, however, and continues to ask him for help until eventually Gajeel begrudgingly agrees.

As they plan the fundraiser concert together, Levy soon learns that though Gajeel may be rough around the edges, he truly has a heart of gold, and Gajeel comes to marvel at Levy's tenacity, intelligence, kindness, and generosity. When wounds from their pasts make it difficult for them to open themselves up to love, however, will they learn to listen to the music of their hearts?

Obey Me Brothers Movie Night Headcanons!

I feel like I haven't posted anything about the brothers lately, so here's this little thing!

I'm sure most of the fandom already has this as a headcanon, but I'm just gonna say it anyways. The boys have a movie night once a week, every week, and they have yet to miss a single one since they've started.

They rotate turns each week to ensure fairness when picking out movies. So, Lucifer takes one week, then Mammon, then Levi, and so on, and then they cycle continues.

Once Mc becomes a regular part of the house, they get added in to the rotation, meaning they get their own week to choose a movie.

There are a few rules that have been established over the years because of various arguments.

The biggest rule is that no one is allowed to argue with the movie choice of the week. Once, Mammon made fun of Levi's movie choice, and they got into a huge fight that almost postponed movie night for everyone.

Now, to avoid another incident, Lucifer established the following rule: the first person to make fun of someone else's movie choice automatically has their movie choice revoked. That means that their next week is skipped over and they don't get to choose a movie.

You'd think this wouldn't be that big of a deal, but there hasn't been a single argument about movie choice since this rule was made. The boys care about their choice week very much.

Another very important rule is that only Lucifer, Levi, and Satan are allowed to prepare snacks for movie night due to some previous incidents.

Mammon has almost set the kitchen on fire attempting to make popcorn, Asmo spent too much time trying to copy a cute recipe he saw online, then he also spent too much time taking pictures of his creation, and everyone got annoyed when it took too long. Beel is banned for obvious reasons. And Belphie is banned because he just falls asleep and leaves everything to Beel, leading to a similar problem as when it's just Beel alone.

Lucifer and Satan are still allowed to make snacks because they're the most responsible, and Levi's allowed just because he hasn't done anything to get his snack-making rights taken away. He is on thin ice though.

All of the brothers have collectively agreed that no one is allowed to choose a horror movie under any circumstances. Mammon will freak out, Satan will figure out the ending five minutes in and promptly spoil it, and Asmo will simp over the killer. The only time they allow a horror film is if Mc picks it because the brothers could never say no to them.

As for their movie choices, they're about what you'd expect them to be:

Lucifer likes documentary style films or old black-and-white dramas. Mammon likes action movies that are B-tier at best. Levi always picks an animated movie, usually from a series no one has any knowledge of. Satan will almost always choose a murder mystery and spoil the ending for everyone. Asmo chooses some knock-off Hallmark romance movie. Usually, he'd be more inclined to pick a horror, but since horror has been banned, he mostly sticks to cheesy romance. Beel has the most varied tastes, but he does prefer movies with themes focused on sports. Belphie would also normally prefer horror movies, but now he just picks whatever's easiest to fall asleep to.

Movie nights are one of the few times all of the brothers actually get together and just hang out. None of them would ever admit it, but it's absolutely the highlight of their week. No matter what they have in their schedules, they'll always make time for it.

a/n: happy christmas eve, if you celebrate!! i meant to post these sooner but procrastinated too much, whoops! like i said on the mysmes version, this is also somewhat of a part two of the winter dates i did a bit ago. these are just more expanded on slightly and with new ideas! i hope you enjoy!

you wanted to gift lucifer another curse vinyl, knowing that he loved them. however, with the amount he had, it was hard to remember which ones he had or ones that he wanted. so instead you decided to just take him to the biggest vinyl store in the devildom, it was a bit of a journey, but it was worth it. seeing lucifer's admiration the many, many vinyls made your heart warm. and you both appreciated being alone with the other, as you returned home, he decided to repay you. before you could even step out, he grabbed your wrist, twirling you towards him. he asked you for a dance. you told him your dancing skills weren't the best. he insisted it didn't matter and that he would teach you.

you celebrated every winter season the same, with very bad and cheesy hallmark movies. it became your own tradition, and you continued it despite being in the devildom. you cozied up in bed, scrolling through movies on your phone. it wasn't ideal to watch on your phone but, you didn't really feel like setting things up. it was just you and the bad acting on screen, until mammon had barged in. you were well used to him just walking in your room. he sat down beside you, looking over at your phone. he'd say a sly remark about the current movie but end up staying besides you to finish it. he'd rest his arm on your shoulder with his arms around you, waiting for the next one. one of the movies would totally remind him of you two, making him very sappy.

while lounging around in your room, you asked levi if he had ever made a fort. you weren't totally surprised to hear that he hadn't, but you decided you had to change that. you lovingly pestered him to assist you. the two of you piled up blankets and pillows, to make the perfect fort. you even decorated it with pretty string lights you had lying around. you cozied up next to leviathan, watching him play some game on some handheld console. you took turns trying to beat a new rpg game that came out until one of you fell asleep.

satan was amazed to find out that the human world has such things as cat cafes. he would mention it almost constantly, begging for you to take him. and who were you to say no? but, to his surprise you weren't just taking him to any cat cafe. you were taking him to one that also had its own library. satan was beyond excited, even if he was tame about it. he wasted no time finding some sort of detective novel and a quiet spot. you joined him after grabbing the two of you a coffee. you picked your own book, occasionally peeking up at him. the bliss on his face from having a book in his hands, a cat in his lap, and you by his side was enough to know that this was worth it.

usually, it'd been asmodeus telling you about the new spas in the devildom. this time it was you to get the news first. you happily told him that you were taking him on a special surprise date. of course, he'd never decline any alone time with you. his eyes beamed with excitement as you arrived. this spa was inside an unactive volcano which is said that its water has incredible skincare benefits. the both of you luxuriated in the warm waters while applying a face mask. asmo let out a soft sigh before pulling you closer towards him. he was beyond happy to share this with you. he'd kiss you despite your whines. he didn't care to smear his face mask, nothing really mattered to him but you.

after showing beelzebub episodes of cooking competitions, before he got too hungry, you got inspired to do your own cook off. you would make seasonal treats from the human world, and he'd make ones from the devildom. he agreed without any hesitation. neither of you wasted any time heading to the kitchen. you made your first dish, a simple dark chocolate mousse with bits of peppermint. beel's eyes widen as he took a bite, not hesitating to finish it. as the mousse disappeared, so did your competitiveness. it was replaced with just wanting to treat beel to various of your favorite treats. you watched in admiration as he took the time to fully taste each dish you placed in front of him.

belphegor had asked if you had plans in the coming days, and if you did you'd have to cancel him, you asked him what for but he wouldn't give you a specific answer, he had planned a little stargazing date to show you the winter stars of the devildom, he brought multiple blankets and even a hot chocolate for you so you'd stay warm, he'd point out the stars and constellations to you, telling you tidbits of their lore and folktale, even going as far as comparing you to the stars, i mean to him, you truly were the light of his life, through everything you stood beside him, even if (to him) he didn't at all deserve it, you give him a soft kiss, reassuring him that you'd have it no other way.

Good evening loves! We made it to November! It’s hard to believe. I know it felt like crawling over some metaphorical finish line to get here, but I made it and you did too, and I’m proud of you for that! As we start ramping up to the holiday season, I’ve been having Hotch thoughts, as per usual. This month I thought I’d make a prompt list and share it with anyone who would like to write along, a la @imagining-in-the-margins. I won’t write for all of these, but I will for at least a few. The rules for using these prompts are that there are no rules! You could use any Criminal Minds characters, OC’s, reader inserts, etc. You could draw, write, make mood boards, or anything else you can imagine. I have included 31 prompts for each day of the month. I also get inspiration from plain old words, so I’ve included 10 December-y words that might inspire something. I've tried to keep the prompts non-holiday center as everyone has their own traditions/faiths. Lastly, I’ve included a few dialog and art prompts too. You can find that all below the cut. after seeing catoru, I like to hc that Satoru played the Grinch (that man seems too comfy in that cat suit to not have prior suit experience🤨 slayed the house down with this role no doubt it won him an Oscar). Suguru was Martha May Who (basically their jjk roles reversed but if Suguru had come back to love his man😔🙄)

oh I LOVE THIS HC. actor!gojo is genuinely so unserious because first of all. he is like obviously a very phenomenal actor - this man is not a triple threat for no reason like he can do it all. but because he can he LOVES oddball movies like this where he just gets to play a fucking weird ass character. some examples:

Obey Me! Nightbringer "Happy ⭐️ Holidays!" Pop Quiz pt.1

!SPOILER WARNING FOR THE EVENT!

My thoughts on part one of the 2023 Christmas holiday event.

Okay so first off I have to talk about the sprite outfits. They are split into 2 types; Santa's (??) (The brothers) and reindeer (everyone else). Personally I think all the 'Santa' ones are kinda meh, prob cause some of the brothers colours are not holiday colours. The reindeer ones are adorable and fit the holiday spirit great, except Luke's. Luke's is just kinda lacking, they could have taken him out of his beret just this once. Solomon's is my favorite! It looks so comfy.

It felt like there was alot going on with this event so I probably missed some things.

Event starts off with the announcement of a holiday decorating competition to win the Krampus Star which grants a single wish. Probably my least favorite Christmas activity to do in a group lol but it's a good premise.

This turned into a hallmark movie real quick 🤣

Levi you good here?? Lmao

I'm just casually forced to help every one, then who ever wins I have to approve their wish. Please everyone is gonna wish for the same thing (spend Christmas with me) and I'll end up spending it with everyone anyways...

Now things start getting weird. Everyone is fighting and Barbatos figures out its a rare moon cycle that released an Dark Demon Santa (I started laughing here).

Collecting things with everyone was kinda cute. An adorable momment between Lucifer and Beel that solidified my HC that Lucifer can't say no to picking up Beel tho hes too heavy xD Also liked that Mammon got to show a bit of his responsible older brother side! <3

The spell takes over everyone and Raphael is told to break up the fights for some reason tho he has a short fuse himself.

Then somehow everyone decides not to fight and it works?? Christmas spirit??

I was basically shaking in my boots at learning Diavolo absorbing the DDS's power was the only plan and if it goes bad the Devildom would be left without a ruler for some time. Like this is SERIOUS serious! (And also makes the plot super intresting :0)

So glad they included a conversation between Diavolo and Lucifer (tho it would have been better if I wasen't there). Diavolo gave Lucifer the new start he and his brothers needed and I know if something happened to Diavolo, Lucifer would blame himself. This conversation was needed so he could know where he stood in relation to the problem/solution if I'm making any sense.

I think I'm gonna piss myself (sorry for the crude language lol)! THANK YOU BUT GIVE IT TO BARBATOS NOT ME.

One minute I’m happily scrolling on tumblr and the next I’m rabidly flipping through reblogs trying to figure out if there’s a part 2 to the hallmark movie fanfic I just got conned into reading.

But they're so stinkin' cute right??? Levi is head over heels and yet also in denial which is kind of adorable and sets the scene for the most amazing slowish burn idiot (s) to lovers. Levi might confess while they're walking Xavier's dog in the fall (this is mostly inspired by one time I was walking behind two people on a cold night and they looked at each other and exhaled at the same time and the vapor formed a heart in between them. Anyways. ) Xavier would be like duh (Levi is not subtle at all, poor dude lol).

I'm also picturing a scene when they're officially together and they run across their exes again. Maybe Xavier could get that guy back for punching him? Or Levi could.

Thank you for the ask! I had fun with this.

Olivia and Bryce enjoy watching Hallmark Movies. Olivia enjoys the stories, even if they're cheesy. She likes the romance and seeing the characters grow together. However, she also takes it a little to seriously. She says she watches them to relax and unwind because they're "easy viewing" and don't require her to be super focused, but she ends up being super engaged and yelling at the tv when there are misunderstandings that cause the characters to drift apart. She ends up crying when the leads reunite. Bryce enjoys watching Olivia, watch the movies. He loves her passion and how invested she becomes in them.

Bryce enjoys more comedic Christmas movies like Elf, Home Alone, National Lampoons Christmas Vacation, and Spirited.

Lilah introduced Trystan to Home Alone, which they both enjoy watching, and rewatching. Lilah isn't into the romantic Christmas films so this is definitely her favorite. She also likes Die Hard, and while it might not be a Christmas movie, she will always insist that it should be. Trystan loves teasing her about it, especially since their lives are filled with enough excitement and adventure. She also enjoys The Thin Man Series.

Laura and Levi enjoy Love Actually both appreciate the cast, the story, the humor, and of course the love. Lily enjoys The Grinch (with Benedict Cumberbatch), Elf, and Polar Express. Levi and Laura love watching those movies with their girl!

Alex and Thomas really enjoy classic films. Alex enjoys the romance and the heart of the stories, Thomas enjoys the signficance of the films and storytelling, including It's a Wonderful Life and Miracle on 34th Street. However, Alex also has a soft spot for Edward Scissorhands, which Thomas enjoys as well.

Mal and Daenarya don't have movies, but I think they'd both love nonconventional christmas movies like Nightmare before Christmas, Gremlins, and Krampus.

Hallmark, Holiday, Horny. (Dieter Bravo x F!Reader) - A smut-tastic holiday movie one shot with our dear boy Dieter. It didn't quite hit with notes, but I had so much fun revisiting this insane man. Writing Dieter's dialogue is always such a treat.

Something In the Movies. (Gojo Satoru x F!Reader) - My first attempt at writing the beloved Gojo. I have been so nervous to write him, but I love writing a softer, more whimper-y Satoru. Let my man have some peace.

Seeing You, Seeing Me. (Joel Miller x F!Reader) - Statistically my best work ever. This story still feels like a fever dream because of how fast I wrote it. I've never felt so sure and so connected to a piece, and I'm damn proud of it.

The Better Strategy. (Astarion x Tav) - My first non-'you' story on this blog. Astarion is very precious to me, so I enjoy exploring what intimacy looks like outside of sex. My Astarion has more of an aversion towards it, but he direly craves intimacy. pssst and this is updating tomorrow!

Silver Underground (Levi Ackerman x F!Reader) - This fic basically saved my life in 2023. I have never worked, never planned, never adored such a story, and it's all because of the community and friends I've built. I never, ever imagined the response and support it has gotten. Fingers crossed we land the ending, yeah?

ooh, we have lots of things we like to watch !! i mentioned this a couple times but me & kento have a little harry potter rewatch during the holiday season !! another one of my favorites are the two home alone movies, so ofc i get him & levi to watch with me tehe. kento likes the comedic ones a lot, and levi likes the oldie classic christmas movies like it's a wonderful life & a christmas carol etc. he claims to have some advanced film taste or whatever. but levi is secretly a hallmark movie connoisseur, he will put them on while doing chores around the house and get sucked into them. he will neverrr admit to it though, no matter how many times he gets caught
