I did. I was married in the Bertrand Russell suite of Pembroke Lodge in Richmond, West London, like where Ted Lasso is set. Family, friends, dinner, drinks and dancing. We were civilly partnered by the equivalent of a justice of the peace. Then we were married again in a comic book shop by a friend with an internet ordainment, so our marriage would be fully legal in the us. Then I had to get doubly divorced 🤷🏼‍♀️

I’m gonna do it again, though. Better this time. I don’t know where— maybe in my sweetie’s church? Maybe outdoors in the beautiful springtime or golden autumn? Of those two honeymoon choices I’d love to go to a Pocono’s resort back in the day when there were still ugly knees competitions and all day buffets. But Mongolia will work too. I’ve never been there. And I’ll be with someone who really loves me, so it should be absolutely divine.

I remember when the laws changed and made this possible for us in America. I fear I’m gonna be here when it’s all revoked. Please vote. Please vote for democrats. Even if they’re not the ones you really want. Please.

i just realized something, in skyrim youre able to marry someone of the same sex and (to my knowledge) no one in game has an issue with it, so, in the game with BOATLOADS of racism and hate. the two factions both have their shit downsides, but no one is against gay marriage, thats pretty swag.

Fun fact for pride month!

In 2001 queer couples got married in the Netherlands, making them the first legally married gay couples in the world. In 2021 for the 20 year anniversary of gay marriage, Dutch news interviewed 2 of the headline couples. Anne-Marie and Hélèna are still happily married! They actually married on a whim that day since it happened suddenly. A newspaper (lovingly called the gaykrant) just asked if gay couples in Amsterdam wanted to get married for midnight, and they were more then willing to do so!
