“How about you, Cheongsan? What do you think of (Y/n)?”
The said male looks up from the foods in front of him to his friends, catching their curious gazes.
They had been talking about (L/n) (Y/n), the most feared delinquent on campus who actually doesn’t seem that much of a delinquent because of high grades and the lack of involvement in bullying. You were quiet and did nothing but to mind your own business in class, occasionally talking back against teachers that called you out for being late or skipping classes, and sending death glares to everyone who tries to get close.
You were an odd delinquent; involving yourself in fights only when necessary, accepting the teachers’ call for help, aggressively helping people who tripped in front of you, only minding your own business, and not minding people who accidentally spilled their drinks on you. You act how a delinquent shouldn’t, and it seems like you’re only called that is because you’re not afraid to speak out your thoughts no matter how hurtful it is, you’re intimidating and scary, and you beat up people.
His friends have stated their own opinions about you, mostly positive and only a small amount of negative, while Cheongsan continuously ate his food with his head hung low, since he didn’t want to partake in it. Though, he should’ve known his friends would not miss a chance to hear everyone’s opinion.
He looks at the table three rows away where you sat quietly alone, eating your favorite food and reading a book. That’s also one thing that makes you so unlike from other delinquents.
You look handsome like this, sitting in a way a delinquent would with all your focus fixed on the book. It’s almost as if you’re a godly, unrealistic being painted on a canvas by a professional and perfectionist painter.
Cheongsan didn’t understand why everyone found you so intimidating and scary; in all honesty, he thinks girls should be screaming, squealing and freaking out over you like those girls in cliché romance anime with handsome main character from how insanely and unbelievably attractive you are. But, in all honesty again, he would be irritated and annoyed if that actually happens.
“He seems fine to me,” Cheongsan answered Gyeongsu’s previous question with an unenthusiastic one as he forced himself to look away from your figure.
An unsatisfied look appears on both Gyeongsu’s and Suhyeok’s face as the others groaned at his lack of cooperation in sharing a throughout opinion, clearly disappointed. “What the fuck is that answer, you moron? There should be more to it like gossips about him and how you think of him.” Gyeongsu complains, smacking his arm.
Cheongsan raised his brows at him before his lips forms a pout, something that always happens when he’s thinking.
Unbeknownst to him, your eyes shifted from the book to his direction, a subtle smirk spreading across your face at the sight of his pout. You took out your phone and opened the camera, zooming it on his face with slight difficulty from how far he was. You then pressed the shutter button, successfully capturing him into picture as you opened gallery to save it in a specific folder.
Gathering his thoughts, Cheongsan finally opens his mouth to speak. “I think he’s handsome,” All of his friend’s jaws dropped. They did not expect that answer. “And I also think it’ll be fine to sit next to him or be close to him as long as you mind your business just like he does and if you don’t bother him that much.” He shrugs, taking one glance at you to see you’re on your phone instead.
“Have you tried sitting next to him?” Suhyeok asked curiously.
“No,” Cheongsan shakes his head. “But I’m not scared to try.”
Gyeongsu looks at him incredulously. “How are you not scared or intimidated? He’s scarier than Gwinam, and that says a lot.” Suhyeok nodded while pointing at Gyeongsu to show his agreement.
Cheongsan only shrugs at his question.
Since the beginning, he was never intimidated by you for unknown reasons. You were just so handsome, so attractive, and so godly that Cheongsan forgot to be scared. Though, your straightforwardness, honesty and the ability to speak out your thoughts without hesitation no matter how brutal or hurtful it’ll sound intimidated him a lot.
He assumes that’s probably why so many people are intimidated. No one can be completely honest and truthful nowadays in fear of being hated or disliked by others.
As his friends began talking among themselves after getting bored, Cheongsan looks at you once again only to catch you already staring at him. He makes sure his friends aren’t looking and smiles, subtly waving his hand to acknowledge your presence. He sees you nod, covering the smile that appears on your lips with your phone so no one can see it.
Cheongsan goes back to eating his food with butterflies filling his stomach and heart beating rapidly against his ribcage.
Perhaps, everyone being intimidated by and scared of you isn’t so bad when he’s the only one who can do things like this.

Shit, what the fuck.
Cheongsan panicked internally after escaping the zombies that suddenly appeared out of nowhere in the cafeteria, alongside Onjo. The two of them managed to escape in a room filled with survivors; Gyeongsu, Wujin, Jimin, Nayeon, Hyoryung, Isak, Minji, and Joonyoung. However, the person who Cheongsan hoped to be here was nowhere to be seen.
He rushes over to the windows to search for you outside, but all he was met with was total chaos, people running everywhere for their lives as zombies chase after them.
Someone banging on the door catches his attention and he turned around to see white-covered Daesu being let into the classroom by Wujin, who almost closed the door on him. That settled an uneasy feeling within Cheongsan and his stomach twisted, making him nauseous as worry clouded every bit of his being.
He saw you exit the cafeteria before the outbreak happened and haven’t seen you ever since, which only worsened the awful feeling in the pit of his stomach.
Were you bitten? Did you turn? Where were you?
“What happened to your face, huh?” Wujin’s voice snapped Cheongsan out of his thoughts, looking at Daesu who looked like he’s been slapped with a powder or something.
“I don’t know, some crazy jerk sprayed me with fire extinguisher.” Daesu answers while wiping his face with a clean towel he found hanging by the drawers. Onjo avoids eye contact at that. She was spraying fire extinguisher to keep the zombies away, she didn’t know Daesu’s there.
Gyeongsu raised his brows, “A fire extinguisher?”
“Yeah, damn it.” The bigger male pants, resting his hands on his knees after wiping his eyes. “What’s happening?”
“Who knows?”
“Trains.” Cheongsan stated as he approached them, “Train to Busan.”
“The movie?” Daesu gives him a puzzled look.
“Aren’t they zombies? It’s the same thing.” Everyone looked at each other, contemplating whether what Cheongsan’s saying added up. It was crazy, but he kinda has a point. “Watch this, it’s true.” He pointed outside to convince Daesu before pulling him towards the windows when he still doesn’t believe it.
Gyeongsu also tries to walk over, but was reminded by Joonyoung of the door and went back instead to hold it close, curiosity plastered on his face.
“Shit, what the hell?” Wujin curses upon seeing the chaos.
All three of them flinches with a curse when a hand slams on the window in front of them, only to see it’s Suhyeok. They quickly help him get inside and he turns around to hold his hand out to Namra, who you helped rush up the ladder. You were next to climb up quickly as Suhyeok and Namra helps you get inside, barely missing the zombie-turned teacher from getting your leg.
Suhyeok breathes heavily and drops on the floor with his eyes wide in shock, adrenaline wearing off. “It’s that, isn’t it? Zombies.”
You sighed, turning to look outside.
For the first time, you learned minding your own business doesn’t apply to all situations. You would’ve been bitten by those nasty zombies if it wasn’t for Namra — your only actual friend in the campus — coming over to drag you away along with Suhyeok, because you were ignoring people who ran and screamed thinking they’re just playing childishly. She knew you wouldn’t spare anyone a glance, so coming to save you was a right choice.
Cheongsan came to stand beside you while making sure nobody would see your mouths moving. “Are you okay? I was worried.” He said barely above whisper.
“I’m fine, and they can’t get close to me anyway.” You replied, giving him a side-eye. Cheongsan scans your figure to make sure you were saying the truth, before he was annoyingly interrupted by a female body getting herself between you and him.
“Are you okay, (Y/n)?” Nayeon questioned, feigned concern lacing her tone as she pulls your arm to turn you towards her, beginning to run her hand all over your body to check for any injuries. “Are you hurt? What took you so long to come? I texted you.” She pouts.
Irritation quickly bubbled within Cheongsan’s chest at her attempt of making herself look cute and adorable. He forgot the rumors about Nayeon liking you.
With an uninterested look appearing, you quickly grab her wrist to keep her from further harrassing your body. “Keep your hands to yourself, Lee. Can’t you see I’m not bleeding? If I was hurt, there would’ve been blood on me. It should be obvious. And I was too busy reading a book to notice your text.” You waved your hand dismissively as your straightforwardness once again causes everyone to wince.
“That’s gotta hurt for a girl who has a crush on him.” Joonyoung mutters under his breath.
Your eyes shift to Cheongsan’s direction after feeling jealousy radiate from him, and he catches the look that they said— I’m glad you’re here.
That’s right, you don’t care about anyone but him.

“Who the hell does she think she is?”
This class couldn’t get any worse. You thought while sighing deeply as your back leaned on the seat, head thrown back with closed eyes.
This argument between Nayeon and Gyeongsu is a complete nonsense that Nayeon started to get on his nerves for no apparent reason. Giving a fuck is an irrational thing to do when it comes to this stupid girl who does nothing but to whine for others to start doing something. She doesn’t want to save anyone, she wants to be saved.
Talk about self-centered narcissist.
You opened your eyes when Gyeongsu let out a scared yell all of a sudden as the sound of door opening echoed throughout the room, pushing your head forward to look at the person that entered.
“Coach Kang.”
Rolling your eyes, you threw your head back again to stare at the ceiling, finding it more interesting than anyone or anything right in this moment. The Coach is your least favorite person; he’s a fucking egotistical jerk that thinks women are men’s toys. He thinks he’s hiding it well, but you can see it from a mile away.
“Are you guys okay?” Coach Kang’s trembling voice asked and he sighs in relief after Gyeongsu nodded together with everyone else.
Gyeongsu approaches him, albeit hesitantly. “What about you? You weren’t bitten?”
“No. Of course, not. I’m— I’m alright.”
Your brows furrowed. Something’s odd. He shouldn’t have this much difficulty in breathing. Even if he ran all over the campus, his breathing would’ve just been heavy or out of breath. His voice shouldn’t shake this much, as if he’s trying to hide something.
“Hey, guys. Let’s block the door first. Get moving, hurry!” Coach Kang starts to lead the students as they began to help moving the seats to block the doors, attempting to stack them high.
You stood up from the chair but remained in your place, watching him move around and instruct the survivors. There’s a wave of negativity in your gut, like something’s not right, that you shouldn’t trust him too easily. You scan his body thoroughly, until your eyes froze at the nasty bite on his arm.
Your breath hitches. This motherfucker’s gonna kill everyone.
As Onjo and Isak moves to help, you quickly grabbed both of their arm to keep them in place. They looked at you surprised since this is the first time you’ve ever approached anyone by yourself. “What’s wrong?” Onjo asked, and Cheongsan stops after seeing you holding them.
“Don’t get close,” You warned, voice low and whispering. “He got bitten on his arm.”
Their eyes widened and almost instantly, looked at the Coach’s arm to find out you’re telling the truth. But then again, you never lied.
“Coach Kang. Your arm.” Onjo doesn’t hesitate to speak. You gently squeeze her arm in encouragement and praise. Being honest saves everyone, believe it or not.
“What are you doing? Come help us!” The Coach yelled.
“You have a bite mark on your arm!” Onjo raised her voice, causing everyone to freeze and look. Wujin flinches backward when he noticed the bite mark as the others began to feel fearful once again.
Coach Kang sees his own arm and begins to panic. “I wasn’t bitten. No, no. I—” He quickly rolls his sleeve down, “I— I wasn’t bitten.”
“It’s a bite mark.”
“I said it isn’t. Don’t talk back to me, okay?” His voice gets aggressive. You stare at him intently. He shouldn’t get close.
It was Isak who spoke next. “It looks like you were really bitten.”
Coach Kang seems to get angry at that as he raised his voice, “I wasn’t! How many times must I tell you?”
Isak felt you squeeze her arm as well. You wanted her to stand up for herself and her classmates. “Then why the hell are you hiding it!? Just show it to us!” She raised her voice and stepped forward as you went beside Onjo, sharing a look with Cheongsan. You knew she’s important to him.
“I think you should leave now.” Isak quietly said.
“What?”
“Get out of here immediately.”
“You want me to go out there?” Kang pointed at the door, “After all I did to get here? You want me to go back out?”
“You were bitten.” She doesn’t back out. Standing up against teachers is scary, but getting bitten by zombies and turning into one is terrifying. She thanks you internally for encouraging her. “Come on, get out. I SAID GET OUT NOW!!”
“Cocksucker!” Kang yelled. “How dare you yell at me like that?”
You scowled, glaring at him, pulling both Onjo and Isak behind you when Kang steps forward. Your protectiveness usually only kicks in when Cheongsan is the one in danger, but right now, he wasn’t the one that needs protecting. This girls, who can easily be overpowered by the coach.
“You little... Get over here. Come here.” He was showing his true colors at this point, and you clenched your jaw in anger. “NOW! You won’t come? Hey.” He makes a move to advance and you stepped in front of the girls as they quickly hide behind you.
Everyone stops when blood starts to run down Kang’s nose as he turns his back to wipe it.
“Onjo, don’t—!” Onjo ignores your warning, smacking a backpack against the back of his head. You cursed and pulled her back behind you again, watching as Kang turns around and shoots her a glare. Cheongsan immediately rushes over to you, realizing you might get involved in Kang’s rage.
“You fucking bitch.” He cursed, raising a hand and steps forward only to drop on the floor.
You ignored everyone’s gasps and mutterings, turning around to push Cheongsan, Onjo and Isak away knowing he’ll turn. Cheongsan grabs your hand that was pushing him and pulls you so you wouldn’t be close to Kang. The crunching of bones filled the noisy air together with Nayeon’s fearful beg to get Kang out of the room.
Soon enough, a growl erupts from Kang and he launched himself onto Minji, pulling her down on the floor, unfortunately getting a bite of her face. Daesu rushes over to hold zombified Kang back, throwing him on the lockers. You all looked to see a chunk of Minji’s skin beside her mouth gone with blood coating the place.
While Daesu’s in shock, Kang stands back up with a growl and advanced towards Wujin and Suhyeok, who both fortunately avoided him as the latter attempts to fight him off. Cheongsan grabs the table right on his side and uses it to trap Kang against the wall, struggling to do so due to Kang continuously shoving to get a bite out of him.
“Cheongsan!” You and Gyeongsu both yelled as he runs to help and pushes the table more on Kang.
“Shit.” You muttered when Minji begins to turn after getting kicked by Nayeon, feeling the survival folding knife through the fabric of your pants in your pocket.
Using it to kill them would probably make everyone mistaken you for a murderer or perhaps, even torturer, but was that really important when all of your lives are at stake? You don’t give a fuck about everyone except Cheongsan, anyway. But won’t he judge or hate you for bringing a knife at school? Won’t he be afraid of you just like everyone else is?
You thought carefully, before Daesu’s struggling voice snapped you out alongside Cheongsan’s and Gyeongsu’s grunts.
That doesn’t fucking matter. If you don’t kill them with whatever you have, everyone’s gonna be dead, even Cheongsan.
“Whatever,” You sighed. “Fuck this.”
You quickly ran towards the two and pushed them away, ignoring Gyeongsu’s “what are you doing!?” thrown in your direction. Holding the table with one hand, you used the other to whip the knife out and press the two buttons on the handle, the sharp blade instantly making an appearance. Everyone widened their eyes in shock as you don’t hesitate to stab Kang’s head repeatedly with your knife, its force causing his blood to stain your uniform and a small amount of your face. You only stopped when the growling and struggling died down, dropping his completely lifeless body and the table on the floor.
Everyone flinches when you turn around, finding the unbothered and casual look on your face unsettling.
They watch you twirl the knife as you shifted your gaze on Daesu, who was holding zombified Minji that tried to bite him. You cock your head to the side. One slit on the neck should be enough.
Your stare was enough to force Daesu into throwing Minji on the floor as you don’t waste time to grab her hair and stab your knife deep into the side of her neck, before slitting it by sliding the knife towards other side with great force and fast movement. Blood splatters on the floor as she goes limp.
It didn’t even take you thirty seconds to successfully kill two zombies. Maybe you’re more terrifying than those cannibals, everyone thought in sync.
You walk over to the towel that Daesu used to wipe his face with and begins wiping off the blood on your knife, leaning against the lockers. Cheongsan approached you — shrugging Gyeongsu’s alarming hand off his arm — and he sees your body tense almost immediately.
“Did they get to you?”
You look up in surprise at his caring, concern-filled voice.
He gives you a comforting look, having an idea on what you’re feeling right now. You neither regret nor feel guilty about killing them, but you were afraid of a possibility that his thoughts about you might’ve suddenly changed. After all, you’re aware of how even the slightest action can change a person’s thoughts about anyone. Let alone as big of an action as murdering a zombified teacher and classmate.
You silently shake your head, pressing the buttons to make the blade disappear into the handle.
“Then, that’s great.” He smiles, gratitude plastering his face.
“Thank you, for saving us.”
Tumblr media
You dropped on the floor as soon as the door of recording room shut behind you, knees growing weak and tears stinging your eyes.
Gyeongsu’s gone. Nayeon did it.
He was Cheongsan’s bestfriend and to think that the girl who liked you was the one who killed him? It fucking made you feel shitty. Guilt devours you from the inside, spreading all throughout your veins and blood as you taste the bitterness in your mouth. There’s no fucking excuse to what she did; Gyeongsu was trying to help and she went all out accusing him of things that didn’t happen — and then goes on killing him without remorse just to prove her point when he didn’t turn.
“You did the same thing to Coach Kang and Minji!” Her voice bitterly haunts your ears.
You did kill them, after they turned into zombies. She wiped a zombie’s blood on Gyeongsu’s hand purposely to make him turn. There’s a big difference. You never wanted Kang and Minji to turn, even though the former pissed you off to no end. No one deserves to be a zombie.
She probably thinks you’re a hypocrite now, maybe even others who stayed quiet the whole time Namra was confronting Nayeon. They must be terrified of you yet they haven’t left you alone to die or kicked you out. Come to remember, they didn’t stop Nayeon from going out on her own.
A knock sounded from the window and you look up to see Cheongsan staring at you worriedly, gesturing to the lock. Unlocking the door, you let him inside by scooting away and watched as he sit beside you after locking it again, leaning both of your back against it.
There was only silence while you two stared blankly at the wall of recording room, grieving over a bestfriend— in your case, a classmate.
“You didn’t do the same thing to Coach Kang and Minji, you know.” He suddenly spoke, breaking the silence. He shifted to face you and also make himself comfortable. “You killed them because you had to, otherwise we would all be dead. Nayeon didn’t have any reason to kill Gyeongsu. Everyone agreed on that.”
“Really?” Your eyes finally met his.
Cheongsan nods with sincerity coating his face. “They understand, and all of them are actually thankful you were brave enough to kill those two. No one thinks you’re the same as Nayeon.” He takes your hand in his and rubs it comfortingly, to which you responded by squeezing his hand back.
You play with his fingers, tracing them and tangling them with yours as you avoid eye contact. “I’m sorry about Gyeongsu...” He frowns at the look on your face. “I noticed something’s wrong with Coach Kang, but I didn’t notice anything when it came to Nayeon. I feel like I should’ve, specially when I’m the one who usually notice small things in this group, and I can’t help but think it’s—”
“It’s not your fault.” Cheongsan immediately interrupted, voice firm and unwavering. “None of us knew what was gonna happen. In fact, I think we’re the ones at fault because we told Nayeon to come here and apologize to Gyeongsu when that was probably what she wanted us to do. You tried to stop us, but we didn’t listen.”
You look up at him, seeing guilt and sadness in his eyes. You intertwined your fingers and Cheongsan doesn’t waste time to hold your hand back. “It isn’t your fault, either. We all carry the burden of not being able to save him, don’t beat yourself up.”
“It’s just—” He sighs. “I’m his best friend. Well, was. I could’ve done something more.”
“But you did, Cheongsan. You kept him from hurting you.” Cupping his face with one hand, you smile to reassure him. “I’m sure the last thing Gyeongsu wanted was to hurt his bestfriend and end up turning him.”
Cheongsan sighs and leans on your touch as he closed his eyes. It feels warm. He believed your words— even you knew Gyeongsu is a kind person who would never dare lay a hand on anyone he treasures. He was poor, but he had the richest heart among all people. Which is why what Nayeon did is even more unforgivable and frustrating.
Why does kind people have to always be the target to cold-blooded people? They might be easy to manipulate, but you still didn’t understand. Why was the world so cruel?
“(Y/n)?” Concern instantly plastered your face at how his voice trembled and he cleared his throat, feeling tears gather in his eyes.
“What is it, love?”
“You’re not gonna leave me, right?”
Cheongsan was afraid. You could easily tell. He was afraid of losing you like he lost Gyeongsu, of seeing you turn into those cannibalistic monsters, of seeing you die. You’re the only thing that kept him sane in this apocalypse. If he lost you, he would have no will to survive anymore.
You frown, wiping off the tears that spilled on his cheeks with your thumb. “I would never leave you, Cheongsan. It’s not gonna happen no matter what. I’ll stay by your side until we can be safe together, okay? Don’t cry, baby.” Bringing your other hand to cup the other side of his face, you gently pulled him to press a kiss on his forehead.
Cheongsan felt butterflies filling his stomach. Even in this zombie apocalypse, you never fail to make him feel loved and tinglish.
No one would probably believe you’re actually this soft and gentle when it comes to your lover. People always assumed you were rough and aggressive, and that you’re far from boyfriend material type. Little did they know you make sure everyday that he knows you love him, even though you can’t be close to each other in school.
You look into each other’s eyes before Cheongsan wrapped his arms around your neck and pulled you close to capture your lips in a lingering kiss.
It’s a life or death situation — feeling each other’s presence and kissing each other’s lips mattered more than hiding your relationship. Nothing should matter anymore than you and Cheongsan, and how you would live knowing the grim reaper can suddenly knock on your door anytime.
Right now, you just wanted to focus on the feeling of Cheongsan’s lips more than the zombies probably lurking outside the broadcasting room.
Tumblr media
Gathering around the bonfire created by Namra’s lighter, everyone shared their own stories that no one has heard before. Hearing Namra open up made you smile, knowing she never got to do it with anyone up until now because no one bothered to befriend her. It’s actually why you two got along, being the black sheep of Ms. Park’s class.
You didn’t join them on bonfire, only listening to them share their own life stories as you leaned on the railings with both elbows rested on the surface. After dealing with so much crap and Gwinam going for your boyfriend’s head, you needed a well rest and a smoke to calm yourself, as well as to make the stress dissolve even just a bit. Though, dealing with zombies is honestly much better than dealing with school full of shitty students and teachers.
At some point, their conversation shifts from life story to crushes and you resist the urge to chuckle. Talking about crushes is probably the most mundane yet comforting thing to do in the middle of zombie apocalypse because it gives everyone a feeling as if they went back to a time when everyone wasn’t eating everybody. It reminds them of what they were doing when this apocalypse wasn’t a thing.
“How about you, Cheongsan? Do you have a crush?”
Their question made you puff a smoke as your thoughts wandered. Cheongsan can choose whether he’ll tell them or not, you suppose it doesn’t matter now since practically everyone in Korea is a zombie and not many would care anymore if two men are dating each other. Besides, you also wanted to care for him openly without worrying about someone finding out.
You assume Cheongsan nodded in reply due to various noises of curiosity leaving the other’s lips. He, too, probably doesn’t care anymore.
“Really? Who is it?” Onjo asked with surprise and tease lacing her voice, looking at him and waiting excitedly for his answer. Everyone anticipated it as well, some even growing impatient.
Cheongsan doesn’t say anything, instead points at you, who had your back turned to them.
All of their eyes follows the direction his finger pointed at and as soon as you entered their visions, their jaws drop in sync. Joonyoung looks at his finger and you back and fourth as he also pointed at you, mouth moving but no sounds coming out. Suhyeok had his brows raised, shock evident, staring at Cheongsan in disbelief. Hyoryung, Jimin and Daesu all covered their mouths, while Wujin, Onjo and Namra looked at him dumbfounded.
“You have a crush on (Y/n)!?” Wujin was the first to break everyone’s shock, beginning to look at you and Cheongsan back and fourth.
“How come you didn’t tell us? We shared our opinions about him in cafeteria, but you didn’t say anything about liking him.” Suhyeok shoots him a look, betrayed that Cheongsan hid it from them while they were idiotically telling what they felt and thought about his crush.
“Well, I did say he’s handsome.” Cheongsan defended himself. You subtly shake your head with a smile, realizing he must have said it so his friends would take the hint. “And to be honest, it’s not a crush anymore.” He shrugs.
Confusion is next to appear on everyone’s faces at his words, but Cheongsan stands up before they could ask what he means.
They watch as he walks towards you, and couldn’t help but notice that you immediately faced him as soon as his footsteps entered your ears. You inhaled one puff of smoke and threw the cigarette on the concrete floor. As if on instinct, Cheongsan steps on it to put it out. Your interaction was so natural that had everyone thinking if you often do it when you’re together.
“What’s up, Cheongsannie?”
He doesn’t respond, instead brings his hand up to tug your uniform with a pout. It’s a gesture he always does when he wants you to kiss him.
Without hesitation, you slip your hand on his face and leans forward to capture his adorable pouting lips in a kiss as Cheongsan closed his eyes, fist gripping the fabric of your uniform. You heard few of them gasp before you pulled away and ruffled your lover’s hair.
“Satisfied?” You smirk, licking your lips.
Cheongsan smacks your hand away and grumbles about you ruining his already ruined hair, red tint on his cheeks unfortunately visible. His heart pounded rapidly against his chest at first time kissing in front of people.
“Don’t worry, darling. You still look handsome with ruined hair and blood all over you.” Throwing him a teasing compliment, you leaned forward again to kiss his forehead, something that became a habit of yours after you started dating him.
“Fuck you,” Cheongsan playfully curses while pinching your side and shoving you away, though the smile on his face betrayed him.
You scoffed smugly, “You wish. We’re still in the middle of apocalypse, moron.”
“(Y/N)!!”
You laughed, avoiding his hand that tried to smack you over the head and runs over to the bonfire when Cheongsan starts chasing you, using Daesu as a shield. Now, all of them were shocked of how playful you are — a big contrast to how you are in school everyday.
“(Y/n), stop hiding behind Daesu.” Cheongsan panted as he glared at you playfully.
You childishly stuck your tongue out, which made Cheongsan roll his eyes while amusement crosses everyone’s face. “Only if you can make him move away.” You said smugly, knowing no one can force Daesu to move.
Your boyfriend gives you a look before shifting his gaze on Daesu, “Can you move, please?”
Much to your displeasure, the said man scoots away without hesitation and chuckles when he hears your gasp of betrayal. “What the— You traitor!” You smacked his arm quite strongly, causing him to wince and hold the arm that you hit.
Everyone laughs; it feels weird to see you be childish and playful when you’re usually calm, collected, cold and quiet, but they were happy nevertheless because you finally showed a side that you never did. However, they find it also sad how this is the only time they got to see you be playful, when they have just little chances of surviving. They regret fearing you just because you look intimidating. You may have a resting bitch face, but that doesn’t mean you hurt everybody on sight. They should’ve figured that out before.
Cheongsan comes to sit beside you (after successfully smacking the back of your head) with a yawn, exhaution finally showing itself on his body. Your eyes softened as you tugged his arm and Cheongsan let himself fall to your side. His head softly lands on your lap, facing the night sky, and you immediately bring your hand to massage his scalp. Cheongsan sighs in content, closing his eyes.
“Rest, darling. You need it.” You softly say. Everyone can’t help but stare at how gentle you are with Cheongsan.
“You need to rest too,” Cheongsan mutters with eyes still closed. “You and Suhyeok fought those zombies off more than we did.” He feels you shake your head.
“It doesn’t matter. We’re all the same in terms of exhaution.” You take his hand in your unused one to press a kiss on his knuckles. He opens his eyes, feeling butterflies clouding his stomach again. “And besides, I have to protect you from Gwinam. He’s after your head, who knows when he’ll come back.”
“He’s actually after my eye, but you don’t need to protect me all the time, you know.” Intertwining his fingers with yours, Cheongsan looks at you with worry in his eyes. “If you keep thinking about me, you’ll eventually forget to protect yourself. I don’t want you to get hurt or bitten.”
A smile spreads across your lips.
He might be right and it’s probably too dangerous to think about your boyfriend before yourself when zombies can grab you anywhere and anytime, but knowing he’s worried made you feel happy, warmth spreading from your heart outwards.
Cheongsan notices your smile and lightly hits your shoulder with his free hand, pouting. “Why the hell are you smiling? You rarely smile yet you’re smiling at the possibility that you could die protecting me. It’s not funny. Stop that.”
You only let out a chuckle in response to his scolding.
The others can’t help but smile when they heard the sound of your laughter for the first time as Cheongsan continues to simultaneously threat and scold you at the same time, refusing to stop until you swear you’ll look after yourself too. They found yours and Cheongsan’s couple interaction cute and entertaining, some even feeling as if they missed an opportunity to tease the two of you when zombies didn’t exist. It made them feel sad, but at least they found out before it’s too late and could still have an opportunity to tease.
“If you really—”
“Relax, sweetheart.” You interrupted, giving his hand a squeeze. He opens his mouth to object, but you beat him to it. “If you really think I’m going to forget about myself, then protect me instead. That way, we could prevent the worst from happening, hm? How does that sound?”
Cheongsan goes silent as he thinks about it for a while, then squeezed your hand back to let you know he settled his mind. “Okay. Sounds good enough.”
You grinned, leaning down to kiss his lips before petting his hair after pulling away. Greatly satisfied with your suggestion, Cheongsan closes his eyes to get himself to sleep, his free arm wrapping around your torso as he snuggled closer to you, wanting to feel your presence as much as he can. Shrugging your blazer off, you laid it over him to serve as a blanket.
“This is our first time seeing you smile,” Suhyeok spoke when silence fell. You look up to see a soft look plastered on his face. “I don’t mean to tell you what to do, but you should smile more.”
The others nodded their head in agreement. “You look good smiling.” Jimin compliments, receiving another nods of agreement from everyone.
You shrug, “I naturally don’t smile that often. He makes me laugh everytime, though. If you want any reaction out of me, just bring Cheongsan and let us talk. You’ll get a smile or laughter.”
“That’s probably because you trust him more than anyone else.” Onjo smiled, eyes soft. You nod while smiling, gently playing with Cheongsan’s hair.
“You don’t trust anyone that much.” Claimed Joonyoung. “So seeing you be freely yourself around us, it made me think how we gained it over the times we’ve spent together in this zombie apocalypse. Thanks for, you know... Trusting us.”
You flash them a smile. “Thanks for trusting me, too.”
Maybe letting your secret out wasn’t such a bad thing even before the apocalypse, with an exception of those gangs you beat up that may or may not use Cheongsan as hostage to get back at you.
Nonetheless, you were glad that your boyfriend had revealed everything out in the open — you’ve gained not many, but enough support. You’ll forever cherish this day, even if there’s little hope left to survive.

☆ AOUAD WHEN THEIR CRUSH SLEEPS ON THEIR SHOULDER
synopsis | how aouad reacts to their crush falling asleep on their shoulder ☆ pairing | aouad x gn!reader ☆ wc | 408
note | honestly imagined it happening in my head and just blurted it out on this soo yeah :) (wu-jin’s got removed for some reason it disappeared)
Tumblr media
☆ cheong-san
His heart would skip a beat. His face would flush and he would just stare down at your cute sleeping face, trying to keep his cool. Cheong-san is glad to be able to stare at your face. Whenever you did wake up he would just stare at you before complaining about how his shoulder hurt and he wasn’t able to move for so long. Deep down inside he’s happy and he almost says he’s joking when you apologize.
☆ su-hyeok
Su-hyeok wouldn’t know what to do. He would be talking to you on a bench and he felt you land onto his shoulder. “Are you listening to—” he turned to see you sleeping on his shoulder and his heart started beating so fast. He’d move your hair that fell in front of your face, admiring your gorgeous face. He would take his chance, kissing your forehead and rubbing your shoulder.
☆ gwi-nam
The two of you were under the bleachers, talking about the problems of school. The last time he looked over to you, you were playing with your skirt/pants, but by the time he finished his thought you were laying on his shoulder, still barley falling asleep. “Hey!” He taps your arm roughly, looking away when you pushed his hand off. “Please..let me sleep for a little while.” You yawn, placing a hand on his thigh. He’d roll his eyes and scoff, knowing he really didn’t mind.

a CHEONG-SAN X FEMALE READER fanfic
Genre: soft romance, horror with fluff and comfort.
Warnings: mentions of death, gore and dark, suicidal thoughts. A few cuss words too.
Synopsis: you were always thoughtful and caring, never thinking twice before putting others above yourself. This didn't change after the outbreak, it only pushed your actions over the limit. It's only a matter of time before the consequences arrive.
Author’s Note: I AM SO SORRY! I deeply apologize for the HUGE delay this story and many others had. I had lost motivation and my mental health went down the drain after I got covid, The stress I felt whenever I tried writing was terrible and I needed more time away from stuff. I’m slowly coming back and noting many ideas for future stories. And I am so sorry if the ending of this story seems lazy or just cheesy...I am so sorry :( It’s been months without writing. I hope this story was what you had in mind though, again a huge apology for the delay. I hope you are doing okay dear anon! Much love <3
Tumblr media
You could no longer recall for how long you've been trapped in the school, and neither could your classmates remember when it all began. At first, it had been all about survival and playing the waiting game for rescue, counting the days for it's arrival. The sounds of helicopters who flew by had brought hope, a glimpse of that small chattered hope was all they had. But they never came. The sound of planes and sightings of soldiers had brought strength to keep going, to wait. But they never came. Slowly, that loop of false hope took it's toll on your former classmates upon realizing you all had been forgotten, left behind. Left to die.
While at some point most gave up, you stood your ground and worked hard to adapt to everything that happened around you. The outbreak, the infected, survival. Your efforts not only gave the group emotional support, but provided them with security, supplies and a warmth that was lost since day one.
Although you were never an athlete, never fit in the category of an athlete and never had what it took to be one, you still had focused short workout sessions that lasted from 5-10 minutes, working on your strength and stamina in hopes of being more of a support when facing against the infected. You had also come up with ways to fight back using furniture and materials around the school to the group's advantage, hoping it would make it easier to deal with the infected when the time came. You had done practically everything in your power to help.
But with every passing day, it became clear the road ahead all of you wouldn't be easy to cope with. Upon loosing friends and family, you had watched the same happen to your fellow companions and your feelings were thrown into a deep pit of helplessness. You could feel fear and doubt clawing at you. Loss wasn't something you could fix, wasn't something you could reverse and bring it back. No, you watched it and took it in. You had accepted, accepted that this perhaps was what would happen to all of you one day. You had watched your friends cry upon seeing their loved ones turned into homicidal infected, with only rage driven instincts lingering in their now empty minds. You couldn't help them.
You knew that giving into frustration and letting that pit of dark, insane driven thoughts take over you would only worsen the already sensitive situation. That small spark of hope you brought to all of them was all they had to hold on to, and that couldn't be destroyed. You couldn't worsen things between you and the others, especially Cheong-San.
Cheong-San had shown a lot of support towards your ideas and workout sessions, being of great help with some of them even. He stood constantly by your side, assisted and protected you while on high alert for anything that could bring you harm. Even though you had his company, he liked to silently watch and listen. Almost as if he were a ghost, observing you from the shadows. Cheong-San loved how willing you were to survive and to implement that same energy into your fellow companions, supporting them even when you were brought down. However, he was well aware that was one of your facades to strengthen others and not you. You were risking your life so others could survive.
Despite seeing right through your actions, Cheong-San stood quiet and didn't protest against what you've done. He couldn't. You had given your best to get where you were now, as well as the group. They all needed that support, that positivity only you had. Cheong-San acknowledged that destroying it would most likely get everyone killed. You included. He had asked you multiple times if you were okay and keeping yourself just as healthy, but you had dismissed him time after time.
You weren't dumb, you could understand and appreciate he was worried and you knew he wanted to help but you would never in a million years let him risk himself like you were doing. You'd put him above the others and yourself if need be, you'd make sure he survived even if you had to be left behind. Cheong-San was everything to you, your only source of happiness and you would be lying if you said you weren't grateful for the things he'd done for you. He'd done a lot, more than necessary even. Now it was your time to fill in that spot, to repay him somehow.
...
The day had gone by rather quickly, forcing you and the group of survivors to take some refuge and rest in the comfort provided by what used to be a classroom, tiding it up and making sure it was secure enough for the night. It had been a rough day, rougher than any other and that was being generous.
While your classmates drifted off to sleep, you had stayed awake to work on one of your many plans on how to get out of there as soon as the sun rised, and as you hadn't slept properly in a long time you thought it wasn't a big deal to stay awake again. Every classroom was temporary, it had to be, otherwise you'd have infected coming in from every side. You learnt the hard way that they will follow their rabid instincts to go after uninfected people, searching and ravaging every corner to find them after a long period of time. And they bring in friends, they are never alone.
With a small piece of paper and a pencil, you worked smoothly in your plan, drawing and writing every idea you had into the blank spaces. You were standing, your left hand serving as support on the table while the other held the pencil loosely. The classroom was dark and the only source of light came from outside, the night's natural light shinning right through the small gap in the window and right into your paper. The table was placed next to the window and you could have a better view of what your school had become, of what it's former students had become. You shot them glances while you worked, the silent snores of your classmates and the usual moans and grunts from the infected outside serving as the only source of sound to keep you sane enough. The sight didn't bother you anymore, nor did the sounds. Or so you thought.
You were so concentrated in your plan you failed to notice the tall figure approaching from behind you, hand were felt on your hips and it was enough to startle you for a brief moment, until the touch was recognized and you relaxed. The touch was gentle and smooth, a touch you so learned to appreciate and love. As you turn around, you are met with Cheong-San's tired expression, already telling you that he hadn't slept ever since you all had arrived to the classroom.
''Cheong-San, why aren't you sleeping?'' You questioned, keeping your voice low as to not disturb your sleeping classmates and quickly shifting your attention back to the paper in front of you.
''I could ask you the same thing...'' Cheong-San mumbled, making you pause your writing momentarily to look up at him again. He sighed, knowing exactly where this was going.
''Cheong-San-''
''No, stop-''
You finally raise your voice, shooting him a glare. ''Cheong-San, please.''
You hated raising your voice at him, especially when there are others around. But you couldn't and wouldn't have this conversation, it was complicated and you had something else to focus on, the arguments you both had usually lasted for an hour or two. This wasn't the time.
''I don't want to talk about this now, not again. I-I know you worry about me but please just let me work on this and I promise I'll go to sleep, okay? We need this right now, they need this. Please.'' You implored, a frown making itself present on your face and all those pent up emotions catching up to the recent events.
''And what about you? You've been working on...these plans and-and preparations for far too long. You don't even take care of yourself do you? You barely talk to me now too...'' He sighed, removing his hands from your hips and crossing his arms ''Do you have any idea how I feel?''
You paused. He just pulled that card, and you were furious.
‘‘Excuse me?’‘  You began, blinking in shock at his question. ‘’I- I don’t have any idea how you feel?! Why do you think I’m doing all of this? For myself? I’m doing this so you can all fucking survive, so I can protect you! I don’t want you or the others to end up like my damn parents, can you understand that? Especially YOU! I fucking love you and- and- I care about you so damn much and I want to protect you, you’ve done that to me so many times I want to repay you!’’
At this point you were crying, the sniffles could be heard all across the classroom and your classmates stared in shock at the scene taking place in the corner. They woke up with your yells, you hadn’t noticed how loud you’ve gotten as you ranted. Cheong-San stood still in front of you, his eyes were wide and they had a hint of sadness in them. Had you been hiding all of these feelings from him?
‘‘I-I’m sorry, I can’t- I can’t-’‘ You broke down crying and Cheong-San was quick to catch you in his arms, holding you tightly. ‘‘I’m sorry, I’m sorry.’‘
The warm embrace Cheong-San held made you feel at home, made you feel safe. It was a hold you never wanted to loose, a hold you wanted to cherish forever. Cheong-San understood that and never wasted any time on giving you that, he wanted you to smile and tell him your problems. He knew that this time would come and hoped he would be able to make you change your mind, but the outcome clearly didn’t turn out as expected. He had been hesitant at first, silently watching you from his resting spot in one of the corners, but seeing you awake to work on the plans again made his heart clench in guilt. Your classmates had gone back to sleep after a while seeing as Cheong-San had it under control, not that them interfering would make things any better. It was something between the both of you only.
Cheong-San’s emotions were all over the place, his thoughts scrambled to get proper words out of his mouth without hurting you any further but it seemed so hard. Your mind was way too overwhelmed, he was worried that whatever he tried to say would make it worse, he was insecure. Cheong-San then opted to whisper sweet nothings into your ear, telling you he understood. And he did, he really did. He made sure his hold was tight so you could focus on that only, focus on the embrace.
The hug and sweet words seemed to work as your body relaxed under his touch after a few minutes, your sniffles could still be heard but you weren’t crying anymore. That dark pit of emotions you felt was no longer there, the uncertainty that had clawed at you was gone, the feeling of helplessness was gone. All you could think about was the hold that reminded you of old times, when things were more simple. At some point, Cheong-San pulled away from the hug and looked into your watery eyes. He smiled at you, and that smile was enough to let you know you weren’t alone.
No words had to be said, that smile was the source of your strength, the source of your happiness that you seemed to have lost long ago. The source of your hope.
The source of your survival.

Suhyeok x Reader Imagine: Child
Ps: Y/N is a black girl
Tumblr media
As we were all sitting around the fire discussing about what were our plan for the future if the apocalypse never happened, Dae-Su said “Bare-Su it’s your turn to talk”
He took few seconds before answering “If the whole zombie thing didn’t happened, I would’ve graduated high school, then I probably would’ve gone to Seoul to study, rent an appartement and live with Y/N.” I turn my head to look at him when he said that.
“You want children with her or something?” Asked Joonyoung
“Yeah, but I want to marry her first” Suhyeok softly said
“Really?” I finally said, touched by his words
“Yeah, I’ve been thinking about this for a while now”
“Would you like having a boy or a girl?” I asked.
He took a few seconds before answering “I want to be a girl’s dad. She would look just like me, but with your beautiful curly hair, skin and your personality. She’s gonna be absolutely beautiful”.
He looked at me with a smile (like the GIF) as he described the way he imagine our futur daughter. A small silent went by before Cheongsan said “ Damn bro you’re completely whipped for Y/N”.
We all chuckled at his comment, while Suhyeok roll his eyes, annoyed but with a small grin.
_____________
I think I’ll write another thing about y’all child. Tell me what you guys think!

❛ ━━━━━━・❪ ❁ ❫ ・━━━━━━ ❜
Su-Hyeok groaned lowly as he fought off the voice screaming in his head, glaring at his hands as if they were the ones responsible for his turmoil. Cheong-San was off with the rest of their friends, doing a quick check in – like he always did now – before returning to his side once more, calming the voice raging inside him and setting his emotions at ease.
He had not noticed it at first – too busy trying to survive and fighting off the instincts that told him to rip into the warm flesh of those around him – but the voice only ever flared up when Cheong-San was away from him. It did not matter if he was still within his sight and perfectly safe, if the teen was more than an arm’s length away the voice would screech and rage until he was by his side once more.
Su-Hyeok found it mildly disconcerting at first, scared that the instincts were planning something for Cheong-San – he had no idea what that meant, he was scared and producing any plausible explanation he could – but when they proved relatively harmless he trusted them a little more. Just a little though. They still told him to bite the heads off of friends, people he had trusted since the tenth grade, so he was mindful of them still.
Cheong-San settled next to him with a sigh, stretching briefly before turning toward him with a soft smile, “You ok? You look tired.”
The taller teen hummed vaguely, leaning into the hand that cupped his cheek and relishing in the warmth and softness of it. It was sort of embarrassing how easily Cheong-San’s touch affected him but at the same time it was not a complete surprise. The two were dating after all, it was kind of a given for the shorter teen to have such an affect on him.
Su-Hyeok pulled the other teen closer, nuzzling into the side of his neck and just breathing him in with the enhanced senses being a hambie offered. Their efforts of hiding their relationship ended up being entirely for nothing once Su-Hyeok got bit. He bit and growled at anyone and everyone that came near him except for Cheong-San for those first few moments of transformation. Their relationship came to light when those growls extended to “You smell like them…” Cheong-San rolled his eyes with the words, huffing a laugh when that only made Su-Hyeok nuzzle deeper into his neck in what he deemed as ‘covering the scent up’.
“Su-Hyeok… we’re surrounded by our friends, and I come into contact with all of them. Of course, I’m going to smell like them.” Despite the logic it did not stop the athlete from grumbling, discontent curdling low in his stomach until he managed to completely cover the scent with his own. He had no idea why it had such an affect on him and why his instincts made him like this, he just knew that until he made Cheong-San smell like him the voice would not shut up.
The athlete glanced up for a moment when familiar steps shuffled closer toward them, managing to catch the eye of Nam-Ra before burying his face once more. As long as he kept Cheong-San close he wouldn’t lash out and the voice would stay quiet enough, allowing them one less thing to worry about as a whole.
“We need food. It’s been too long since all of us have last eaten and it’s starting to show in some of us.” Su-Hyeok knew exactly what the class president was implying, considering she came to them – the two who kept going out and sacrificing themselves for the group – and was staring specifically at him it was hard not to realise what she was saying.
Cheong-San actually seemed to hesitate for once, glancing between him and the rest of their friends. Su-Hyeok felt his heart skip beats at the consideration of his boyfriend, resisting the urge to visibly swoon as he merely smiled back and shrugged vaguely.
“I don’t mind going to get you guys food, it’ll be safer if I go since the zombies don’t react to me.” The words immediately make the shorter teen frown, an obvious protest on his lips before Su-Hyeok is covering his mouth with his hand, shooting him an amused smile.
“No, you can’t come. It’s too dangerous for you to be out there.” Cheong-San glared from behind his hand, biting at it softly before pulling it away – Su-Hyeok viciously squashed the urges that came raging up with that action – and letting him know exactly what he thought of that suggestion.
“And? I’m not a helpless child Bare-Su. I can look after myself just fine… plus you’ll have my back out there.” The athlete glared at his boyfriend, the teen simply shooting him a smug smile since he knew exactly what those words would do to Su-Hyeok, and he knew exactly how much the voice in his head loved being told that he was protecting what was theirs.
Cheong-San stood – ignoring the way Su-Hyeok continued to glare at him – before sending Nam-Ra a small smile and nod, “We’ll see if we can find anything in the snack bar. Most of the zombies are still on the left side of the school so we should be able to go down on the right side if we stay quiet.”
The class president hummed absently, shooting them a grateful smile before walking back to join the rest of their friends. Su-Hyeok’s glare turned to their group of friends, some of them wisely averting their gazes while others gave him either a sheepish smile or a look of regret. They may be their friends but that did not mean he wasn’t angry with them for asking them – technically asking Nam-Ra to ask them but still – to risk their lives for food. Because it was one thing to risk your life of your own volition and another thing entirely to be asked to do it.
Cheong-San – adorable, naïve, self-sacrificing idiot Cheong-San – didn’t bat an eye at the request, more concerned for Su-Hyeok than he was of himself, even though the athlete was the one with enhanced senses and was practically invisible to zombies. The reaction made him want to both slap his boyfriend and absolutely drown in him in affection for being like that.
Su-Hyeok stood from his seat, stretching out his arms and legs for a brief moment before making his way to the door of the classroom they had holed up in. Cheong-San was hot on his heels and waving goodbye to their friends with a bright smile, as if they weren’t about to face near death at every corner and be running for their lives all the while. Su-Hyeok really had to teach him some self-preservation or something.
The second they stepped outside the smiles and care-free nature disappeared, Cheong-San dropping low by his side in an effort to somewhat hide himself. It probably wouldn’t do a damn thing, but it was reassuring to see some sense of caution in his boyfriend for once. Su-Hyeok lead the way down the hall, constantly glancing behind him and into classrooms they passed by to make sure nothing would suddenly get the drop on them.
Luck seemed to be on their side since they managed to get outside and halfway to the snack bar before finally being spotted, the zombie having stumbled out of a shed just as they passed by and immediately tackling Cheong-San to the ground. The teen let out a barely muffled shout, immediately turning and trying to keep the zombie’s mouth away from him as much as he can as they fall to the ground in a tangle.
Su-Hyeok spun on his heel, eyes latching onto the sight and snarling like an animal at the other zombie. The voice in his head was raging, telling him to rip and tear and shred the zombie for even daring to go near what was theirs. Before he can fully register what his body is doing he’s beside the two, ripping the zombie away and throwing him back into the shed he came from before pulling Cheong-San into his chest.
The zombie managed to get caught on something in the shed – reaching toward the two of them and biting uselessly at the air as they watched – Su-Hyeok watching on with a mix of smug satisfaction and angry disgust while Cheong-San watches with barely contained terror and relief. They only allow themselves another moment to watch before the taller teen is hauling them up, keeping Cheong-San right by his side before jogging them the last few meters to the snack bar.
Once inside the athlete quickly checks the space to make sure nobody else is in there before barring the door, pulling Cheong-San further inside once he’s finished. He settles the shorter teen on a nearby bench, running his hands over his body in search of any possible injury that he cannot see with his own eyes.
His boyfriend huffs out an amused laugh at his concern, shooting him a small smile before taking his hands in his own, “I’m fine Su-Hyeok. We barely touched the ground before you got it off me.”
Despite his reassurances Su-Hyeok still continued his inspection, only settling down when his brain finally registered the fact that he could not smell any blood coming from the shorter teen. The athlete slumped forward, burying his face in Cheong-San’s neck, and relishing in the smell of Cheong-San. Warm. Alive and safe.
“I told you it would’ve been safer if I came alone.” The shorter teen hummed absently, bringing his hands up to run through Su-Hyeok’s hair, biting off the laugh that wanted to escape him when his boyfriend practically melted into his hold. The knowledge that he could make big, scary, hambie Su-Hyeok melt like this always made him giddy, something that was probably concerning if he put any more thought into it.
“Well, I told you that I knew you’d have my back. So, I guess we were both right in the end.” Su-Hyeok grumbled lowly to himself, adamantly ignoring the way the voice in his head preened with the words, before jabbing Cheong-San in the side just to make him squirm.
“You’re a horrible influence on my infected brain.” The shorter teen snorted softly, kissing the side of Su-Hyeok’s head just to appease him somewhat.
“You love me anyway.” The athlete did not answer him verbally, though the way he snuggled in further – as if trying to physically bury himself in Cheong-San’s neck – and pulled him in closer was answer enough for the shorter teen. Cheong-San settled himself, trying to get as comfortable as possible since they probably weren’t going anywhere for a while.

AO3 AUTHOR'S NOTE:Literally just an excuse for me to write possessive Su-Hyeok and thinking him being a hambie would suit it well.
Hope you guys liked it. I was going through drafts and found my un-written prompts for this fandom again so I might take the time to write through them.

✴︎ THE MONSTER’s GONE, HE’S ON THE RUN, AND YOUR BOYFRIEND’s HERE.
pairing. lee heeseung x fem!reader
genre. established relationship, zombie apocalypse au, ANGST, fluff then and there, high sch!au (they’re seniors), mentions of dying and being bitten
synopsis. when it comes down to it, will lee heeseung protect you like he had promised in the beginning of your relationship?
author’s note. This one is a long one and I lwk felt my heart being ripped apart as I finished the ending 🙁 the scene where he sings to her is based off of the scene from “Beautiful Boy” where Nick’s father sings to him. I kind of envisioned Y/n and Heeseung as Cheongsan and On-jo so do whatever you want with this information!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Lee Heeseung was the perfect boyfriend. He was athletic, tall, and most importantly of all, loving. He wasn’t afraid to show you how much he cared about your relationship.
Being the captain of the hockey team came with a lot of perks. For one, no one was able to yell at him for always giving oogly eyes at you during practice, and no one dared say a word when Heeseung would stop in the middle of his laps to talk to you.
“It’s pretty cold, isn’t it?” Ha Kyungmi, the girlfriend of your cousin and Heeseung’s friend, Sunghoon, perched herself right next to you in the stands.
“Heeseung gave me his jersey.”
Kyungmi smirks, letting her hands feel the material of the jersey you have on. “You lucky bitch!” She says, making you giggle. “Heeseung’s never lent someone his jersey before, that’s how you know he’s serious.”
“That’s good to know,” your eyes look back into the ice, seeing your boyfriend and Sunghoon competing to see who was the fastest.
“You hear that breakout that’s been happening in Busan?” Kyungmi digs in her sweater pockets, pulling out her phone. “It’s reaching Seoul. My mom told me about it yesterday.”
You read over the article that Kyungmi shows you on her phone, something about a deadly outbreak that’s been contaminating the people of Korea. It had started in Busan, and it was making its way to Seoul now.
“Hey!” The voice of your boyfriend makes you snap out of your daze. Heeseung makes his way towards you along with Sunghoon, pulling off their skates as they tossed it against the wall.
“You look pretty,” Heeseung leans in to give your cheek a sloppy kiss, one that has Sunghoon pretending to gag at. “What are you gagging at Hoon? As if that’s not you and your girlfriend all the time.”
Sunghoon raises his hand in mock surrender, interlocking his hand with Kyungmi. “It’s weird seeing you kiss my cousin dude!” He says. “We’re gonna go to the cafeteria if you guys want to meet us there later.”
You glance at your phone, realizing there was only 15 minutes of lunch left.
“Sure, we’ll meet you there man.” Heeseung gives Sunghoon a pat on the back before intertwining his hand with yours, pulling you closer to him despite already being in close proximity.”
“Were you cold?” He asks, concerned bambi eyes making you bite your lip.
“No I wasn’t Seungie.” You lean your head on his shoulder, his thumb rubbing your fingers as the two of you stayed in silence for a bit. “We should probably meet with Sunghoon and Kyungmi before lunch ends.”
“Yeah.” The two of you stand up, making your way out of the ice rink. Thankfully for your growling stomach, your school’s cafeteria was only a few meters away.
“There they are!” Kyungmi waves the two of you over, “I told you buying 2 extra sandwiches was a good idea!”
“Okay okay, sorry baby.” Sunghoon says. “Took you guys forever.”
“It was 5 minutes Hoon,” Heeseung rolls his eyes, thanking Kyungmi as she passed you two your sandwiches. “I really don’t want to go to Ms. Jung’s class. She’ll be the death of me.”
Suddenly, there’s a scream, one that is so horrid that it makes your boyfriend drop the glass cup of orange juice he was holding.
“What’s happening?!” Heeseung says, standing up immediately. He wraps his arm around your waist, eyes widening when he sees students panicking all around.
“Quick, Mr. Jeon’s class is nearby!” Sunghoon pulls the three of you towards a classroom. Inside was about 10 other students, whom of which looked like they were on high alert.
“Yah,” one of the guys said, suddenly standing up. You recognize him as Yoo Hanbin, one of your classmates from biology during your tenth year. “Are you guys bitten? Show us your neck and arms.”
“Bitten?” Heeseung scoffs, pulling you closer to him.
“They don’t know what’s happening Hanbin.” One of his friends says calmly. “They’re probably just scared like us. Close the door, hurry.”
Hanbin snarls, but he obliges. He ushers the four of you in, closing the door in a rush. He then places the teacher’s large wooden desk against it with the help of the other students.
“What’s going on?” Kyungmi asks, flinching when a sudden bang comes from the door.
“Quick! Move more desks!” Despite not knowing what the hell was happening, you helped Hanbin and the others place all the desks against Mr. Jeon’s room.
“There’s an apocalypse,” Hanbin’s friend answers after you all catch your breath. “Haruto.” He introduces himself after.
“Apocalypse?” Heeseung’s grip on your hand is suddenly tighter. “What? You mean like a zombie apocalypse Haruto?”
“I didn’t believe it either,” Hanbin slides his body down against the wall tiredly, lifting up his sleeves to show you his arm. “At first.”
It was bloody and looked like it hurt badly.
“I was in the piano room when it happened. Seolhee’s cries were all I could hear before I heard them. Their growls.” Hanbin shakes his head, looking down at the ground. “I tried saving her—but I couldn’t. One of them tried to bite me before I slashed them across the face with the piano chair. I ran so fast that I fell on the way to Mr. Jeon’s room, that’s where the cut came from.”
You can’t help but send the poor boy a look of pity, feeling overwhelmed by the sudden information.
“Is this about the outbreak?” Kyungmi suddenly speaks up. “The one we read about, remember Y/N? Is it the one from Busan causing all of this?”
Haruto solemnly nods, and that’s enough for you to let out a small cry.
Heeseung wraps his arms around you, letting you bury your head into his chest. “Sh, it’s alright.”
But it wasn’t.
You and Heeseung huddle up together against one of the corners of the room alongside Kyungmi and Sunghoon, trying to generate as much heat as possible.
With the whole city in ruins by now, you knew electricity would be gone soon, you just hoped it would be gone in the morning instead of night.
“We’re almost out of water.” Haruto says, getting up suddenly. One of the girls, who you recognize as Ryujin gets up with him.
If you weren’t stuck in a zombie apocalypse, you would’ve gushed over how much they complimented one another. Ryujin was the star tennis player who looked like she hated everybody, but the way she looks at Haruto showed that she more than tolerated him.
“You seriously aren’t thinking..?” Ryujin pulls Haruto back by his arm. “You can’t go by yourself to get water!”
“I’ll go with him.”
For all the years you’ve known Sunghoon, he’s never been as brave as he was now. You could tell Kyungmi was scared out of her mind, grabbing onto his hand as her lips quivered.
“It’s too dangerous! We’ll live without water for now!”
“Don’t be ridiculous baby,” Sunghoon gives her a comforting glance. “Me and Haruto will go, we’ll come back soon.”
“If he’s going, I’m going too.” The emotions Ha Kyungmi felt earlier now transferred to you. You shake your head, not letting Lee Heeseung’s hand fall from yours. “Y/N, please. Sunghoon’s my best friend, I have to.”
But I’m your girlfriend, you wanted to say.
As much as it hurt you, you knew you had to let Heeseung go. The risks were high, but you knew the rest of your classmates were thirsty to death and needed water as soon as possible. You couldn’t be selfish and beg your boyfriend to stay in front of all of them.
“Be safe.” You say, standing up to cup Heeseung’s face. “Please. Protect yourself first.”
He nods, wiping away the tears that escaped your eyes.
“Promise me, Heeseung.” You whisper.
“I promise.”
You let go of Heeseung reluctantly, watching as him, Sunghoon, and Haruto all slowly push aside the desks, opening the door as slowly as possible.
The growls were less prominent than they were a few hours earlier. You didn’t even want to look through the window to see how many zombies were downstairs at your school’s entrance.
As soon as they’re gone, a boy comes and sits himself right next to Kyungmi and you, giving a small smile.
“You okay Kyung?”
You find it weird how close he’s being with Kyungmi, and even weirder that he waited till Sunghoon had left.
“I’m fine Eunwoo,” Kyungmi replies, slouching against the wall. “Are you okay?”
You turn your head back around, not wanting to eavesdrop on your friend. You prayed and prayed that Heeseung would be kept safe when he was going to get water. You knew where the boys were going—Mrs Ahn’s room. She was the only teacher who kept giant packs of water bottles in her class for students who were thirsty. You hoped Mrs. Ahn was still alive.
“They’re going to Mrs. Ahn, aren’t they?” Ryujin asks, sitting herself next to you.
“They are.” You turn to make eye contact with her, surprised to see a purple bruise near her eye. “What happened to you?”
“Zombies.” She grins, although she knows it’s no time for jokes. “I only made a fuss earlier because Haruto was the one who saved me. Despite being quiet, he really knows how to fight off zombies.”
“Hey,” you get closer to her, almost whispering now. “What do you know about Eunwoo over there?”
Ryujin raises her eyebrows, placing her sight on Eunwoo who was talking to Kyungmi up close. “Has had a crush on Ha Kyungmi for over a year now. I see them sometimes.”
Your eyebrows furrow, not expecting such a response. Before you could say anything back, Heeseung and Haruto quickly rush into the room, slamming the desks back onto the door.
“Seungie?” You and Ryujin rush over to help them. They had 2 packs of waters in their hands, letting it drop on the ground along with their knees as they tried to catch their breath.
“I—I—” Heeseung seems choked up, his eyes teary and red. “I tried to help him—I really did.”
Your jaw practically drops knowing full well what Heeseung was implying. Park Sunghoon was nowhere to be found, not behind him, not behind Haruto.
“They came so quickly, we panicked and we just ran and I—” Haruto is unable to finish his sentence when you let out a scream, your body scumming to the floor.
“My cousin’s dead?” You sob out, clutching onto Heeseung’s bloody blazer when he comes down to hug you.
“I can’t believe it,” Kyungmi’s mouth goes dry and she turns over to hug Eunwoo, who rubs her back comfortingly.
You’re too distraught to even question why she was in another guy’s arms right after your cousin, her own boyfriend, just died.
“I’m sorry,” Heeseung repeats over and over again, letting you cry into his shoulder.
“It’s not your fault,” you sniffle. “Tell me he died a quick death. Tell me it wasn’t painful for him Hee.”
“He fell out the window,” Heeseung says, a few tears escape his eyes. “They backed us up into a wall and Sunghoon fell out an open window. We heard a loud slam and when we looked, he was already dead.”
You sob even louder, making Heeseung’s hold on you tighten.
When you finally catch your breath and pull away, you notice how Heeseung has scratches all over his face.
“Oh Seung,” you say, tracing your fingers over them. “It must really hurt.”
“It feels fine when I’m with you.”
The both of you lean against the cushion that’s propped against the bookshelf in Mr. Jeon’s room, your head laying against Heeseung’s shoulder as you both hold each other’s hands tightly. You felt like Heeseung would disappear if your grip loosened.
“Your lip,” Heeseung suddenly says, letting his index finger touch your lips, which were chapped and bleeding.
“It’s fine,” you brush him off, but he shakes his head, reaching into his pocket for something.
“Here, I have your chapstick.” He pulls out your strawberry flavored chapstick, the one that you always bought before the apocalypse had happened.
“Where’d you get this?” You breathe out.
“I always keep a spare one in my pockets because I know you,” Heeseung smiles down at his lap. “I knew it would come in handy.”
Your eyes softened at his words, one hand coming to hold his chin as you lean in to give him a long kiss.
“Thank you Seungie,” you say as you pulled away. “For everything.”
﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌
You suddenly jolt up from your sleep, face covered in cold sweat.
“Hey, hey, everything’s okay.” Heeseung whispers to you.
You take in your surroundings, making out Hanbin and Haruto’s figures guarding the doors and the rest of the students in the class asleep.
You had your head on Heeseung’s lap, your body sprawled along the cold tiled floor of Mr. Jeon’s class.
“How long have I been out?” You ask groggily, trying to squint at the dark clock on the wall.
“Just two hours.” Heeseung sighs. “The growling stopped for a bit. It’s eleven now. You should sleep more.”
You shake your head, disagreeing. “No Seung, you should sleep. I could watch over for a bit with Hanbin and Haruto.”
Heeseung bites his lip, almost as if he was really debating whether or not he should be sleeping right now.
“Seung, please. You need your energy.”
Heeseung agrees hesitantly, letting you switch places so now his head was on your lap.
“Goodnight Hee.” You say, placing a tender kiss on his forehead.
He smiles back at you, closing his eyes as he let sleep consume him.
Your eyes search around the room, focusing on Kyungmi and Eunwoo sleeping on one another.
Before you were too distraught to care about them two, but now that everything was calm, you really took in the situation.
Ryujin’s words rang in your ear like a mantra. Eunwoo liked Kyungmi for over a year now.
Does that mean.. ?
No, it couldn’t. You knew Ha Kyungmi. She was a sweet girl to you for the most part, she wouldn’t do that to your cousin.
Would she?
“They’re here.” You hear Hanbin whispering. His voice was filled with dread and fear, and your worst suspicions were true.
The zombies had reached your classroom.
“EVERYBODY! UP!” Haruto yells, clumsily turning on the small light that was still working in the room. “WE HAVE TO MOVE! QUICK!”
Heeseung wakes up with a grunt, his arms automatically reaching for your waist as if it was a natural reflex.
“They’re here?” He asks, squinting a bit at the bright light.
“Yes, let’s wake the others.”
You two start tapping your classmates awake.
“There’s a window we can climb out of.” Hanbin points at the window that was half covered by the cushion you and Heeseung had laid on earlier. “It’s not a big drop so we’ll survive it. It’s our only escape.”
Your classmates all start talking at once, some unsure of Hanbin’s plan.
“We don’t have much time!” Ryujin exclaims. “Quick! Climb out!”
A few of your classmates help each other get out of the window carefully, cheering silently when it works successfully.
“I don’t know how much longer I’ll be able to hold them off.” Haruto says, the desks being pushed out by the bangs of the zombies on the door.
“Kyungmi! Let’s go!” Eunwoo grabs the girl’s hand, pulling her towards the window.
“Eunwoo—but—Y/N?!” She turns to face you, who was currently helping the boys hold the door against the zombies. “Y/N!”
“Just go Kyungmi!” You yell, watching as Eunwoo helps her get out first.
“We’re going to have to let go and make a swift run for it,” Hanbin says to the three of you. “A broken arm or leg will be better than dying at the hands of these creatures.”
Haruto closes his eyes, nodding slowly at his friend’s words. “On a count of three.”
“One.”
“Two.”
“Three!”
The four of you let go, the zombies automatically piling into the room as soon as you do.
Haruto and Hanbin are quick, climbing out and jumping onto the ground in a swift second.
“Cmon Heeseung! Y/N!”
Heeseung climbs out first, foot barely making it out the window before one of the zombies have got you.
“Y/N!” He screams, hands gripping onto the window as he tries to reach for you.
“Heeseung! It’s not worth it!” Kyungmi shouts, “they’ve already got her, she’s gonna die anyway, it’s not worth it.”
Heeseung’s vision goes red at this. “I don’t fucking care Kyungmi! Unlike you, I actually love my girlfriend to death and would do anything for her!”
His words have her cowering in embarrassment, Eunwoo wrapping a protective arm around her.
“Yah you fucker!” Eunwoo yells. “You want to be with your girlfriend so badly? Then die!”
He and Kyungmi run off to find shelter, the only two who were left were Hanbin and Haruto.
They were silently begging Heeseung to drop it with their eyes, telling them that it wasn’t worth it.
“Cmon Heeseung man,” Haruto says croakily. “You’ll die.”
“Then I’ll die with her.” Heeseung whispers. He watches as one of the zombies bite you, making you scream out in pain.
The zombies all make their way to another classroom when they realize you’re the only one, and since you’ve already been bitten, you were no longer desirable to them.
Despite knowing he would most likely die if he did it, Heeseung climbs back into the room, pulling you into his arms as he did many times before.
“Hey, hey.” He chokes up as he pulls you closer. “I’m so sorry.”
“It’s—okay.” You reassure him, eyes slowly turning red as your twitching hands come up to touch his jaw. “Will you sing to me Heeseung?”
You had always joked before that Heeseung would become a famous singer in the future, his beautiful voice entrancing you whenever he’d sing or hum a song.
“Of course.” He gulps, eyes becoming blurry from the tears as each second pasts.
“The monster’s gone, he’s on the run, and your boyfriend’s here.” Heeseung’s lips tremble, unable to hold in his emotions any longer. “Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful girl.”
He holds you in his arms despite your twitching body, knowing any second you would turn into one of them. He watches as the light from your eyes disappear, and your skin turns green and veiny.
Lee Heeseung doesn’t cry a lot. He believed that crying wasn’t going to fix anything.
But as he watched the Y/N he loved disappear from his arms despite being physically there, he sobs and sobs. Despite knowing it won’t do anything, he pulls your body onto his, hands on the back of your head as he begs the world to silently bring you back.

▎  HUG,  ft. gyeongsu, wujin, cheongsan, suhyeok
mediums, gn! reader & how they cuddle: aouad edition. genre, fluff / comfort. setting, post-apocalyptic / canon divergence. warning, allusion to near death, apocalypse.
Tumblr media
𝐢. han gyeongsu
the activity lasts for at least ten minutes before his playful nature barges in to make itself known
cuddle session? more like the floor is lava challenge
as in he tests how long you can endure his tricks before you roll onto the floor and get 'eaten' by the imaginary lava
but if you're in the sweetheart cradle, he tones himself down and turns into a human-sized pillow that's reserved for you only
to figure out who will be cradled, you just need to answer one question: who needs to be nurtured?
and that's how gyeongsu frequently ends up with his head resting on your chest, right where he can hear your heart beating steadily in tandem with his
thats a simple yet most effective reminder of his humanity
Tumblr media
𝐢𝐢. jang wujin
rarely resorts to cuddling to show his affection, but that doesn't mean he hates it
boy is so whipped for you that if you ask, he'd drop everything and not let go of you unless it's for bathroom breaks
unless hari's around—that's the only time he shyly approaches you with his eyes trained on you so he can't see the look his sister is giving him
he most probably is a 'bear nuzzle' person a.k.a someone who places themselves behind you then wraps their arms around like a pretty ribbon
every time he does it, he can't help but feel you look like a gift that anyone would be happy to receive
which is why he never takes you for granted. rather, he frequently lets you know that you’re the biggest blessing of his life
because of you, he knows how it feels to be someone's first choice
Tumblr media
𝐢𝐢𝐢. lee cheongsan
look, cuddling is reserved for sleeping time only
as ashamed as he is to admit it, physical touch is something he's still trying to grow used to again
that's why he's so grateful to have you, his understanding partner who helps him get back up when he stumbles
i feel like he loves the lounge chair: slotted between your legs, his back resting upon your chest, and hands cradling yours
it's not the most comfortable position to fall asleep in, yet you never complain about it
little does he know it's because he's done so much for the people he loves, even going as far as to hang his life on the edge
it's about time that the favor is returned to him
Tumblr media
𝐢𝐯. lee suhyeok
ninety percent of the time, he's initiating the cuddles
feeling tired? cuddle. reached a personal achievement? cuddle. got a project that must be completed by next week? okay.. but cuddle after!
one look at this babie is all i need to be sure of two things: he loves spooning, especially when he's the little spoon
it's the best when winter comes around and the heater is barely doing its job
yeah he's already wrapped in the thickest blanket, but he needs you holding him too so he can get through the chilly season
or perhaps he loves it so much because your embrace always takes him away from the horrific memories that still haunt him
so please, let him stay in this safe space a little longer

so nosy
pairings: Lee Cheong-san x gn!reader
genre: fluff, established relationship, non-apocalyptic au!
summary: “on-jo and cheong-san are dating” but are they really?
warning/s: friendly smacking?, suggestive comment
a/n: thank you so much for the request! sorry this isn’t very good, i was thinking of an angst one but i badly needed some cheong-san fluff content LMAO
“you slept with cheong-san, didn’t you?” i-sak said causing y/n to choke on their food and onjo stares at her in disbelief.
“you did, i got it, am i right?” she lets out a prideful smile, but her small celebration gets cut off by onjo hitting her ribs “are you insane?”
“jesus i-sak, you perv!” y/n banged on their chest trying to stop the coughing.
“i told su-hyeok i like him.” the girl with the beige jacket whispers.
“what?” they both say, but i-sak sounded more confused than shocked.
once onjo has repeated herself i-sak exclaims a loud “WHAT?” standing up, grabbing attention from other schoolmates. the other two pull her down hurriedly, waving away stares.
y/n lightly slaps i-sak upside the head scolding her, they turn to cheong-sans table smiling at how cute he looked seeming so clueless and curious.
onjo and i-sak’s chatter is blacked out of y/n’s head. they wave at cheong-san with a bright smile causing him to mirror it back a faint flush forming on his cheeks.
i-sak’s chuckle snaps y/n out of the small interaction between them and their boyfriend “so you threw yourself at him” the poor girl nods.
i-sak bombers onjo with questions about su-hyeok as y/n pats her back lovingly.
✧・゚: *✧・゚:*
“what happened at lunch? why did i-sak yell?”
“ah, so nosy. now why should i tell you?” y/n teases the boy infront of them going to walk away
“c’mon, tell me! please?” cheong-san begs you, putting his hands together with a slight pout.
“it’s a secret i can’t tell, cheong-san, besides… theres something on your cheek..”  cheong-san tries to rub off his cheek to get some sort of dirt off his face
“no up there” a confused cheong-san later gets attacked by y/n peppering his face with kisses multiple times, leaving the last kiss on his lips with a large smile forming on both of their faces.
though cheong-san tries to hide his redface with his hand “get lost” he said before walking away shyly, y/n grabs him whining a “c’mon can’t we just stay here a little longer?”
even though they might get caught, cheong-san accepts the offer and loath in each others company chatting for a little longer, checking the time once in a while to make sure they aren’t late for class.
✧・゚: *✧・゚:*
“you guys are always walking into class together, why is that?” onjo says once cheong-sans mother has left the table.
“cheong-san is always following me, what a weirdo” y/n jokes only catching a glare from their boyfriend.
“you wish” he said, going back to eating his food.
“aish, so cold” gyeong-su, i-sak, on-jo and y/n says all clutching their chests before laughing hysterically

when i'm with you — l. hs
pairings : lee suhyeok x fem!reader
genre : fluff
summary : in this catastrophe, you and suhyeok feel the safest when you are with each other.
───────────────────────
the cold wind slips past through the broken window. a bunch of kids who were just experiencing their first-ever zombie apocalypse scattered around the room, finally feeling at peace as their eyes closed, roaming in their own dreams.
the two lovers sat together near the window, your head on suhyeok's chest and his arm under your neck and the other one wrapped around your waist, pulling you close to make you feel warmer, one of your arm on his stomach, legs tangled together, and his blazer on top of you both.
your breaths were steady, hair framing your face perfectly and the moonlight hit your face as you sleep, escaping this nightmare for a little while, secretly wishing that this was all dream, and by the time you woke up you were in suhyeok's room, doing your make-up on him or play mario kart together while the smell of his mum's cooking fills the entire house.
suhyeok didn't sleep though. instead, he keeps his eyes on you. holding you so dearly and watching you as your chest move up and down at a steady pace. he didn't want to sleep, at least not yet. this could be the last day you guys were together and he didn't want to waste it.
oh, how he wished all of this didn't happen. how he wished that right now, at this hour (honestly he doesn't know exactly what time is it but he guessed it's around 9 pm) he could take you out to an empty park, being dummies together.
he sighed, giving you a long forehead kiss before deciding to close his own eyes as drowsiness starts to kick in. he pulls you even closer, snuggling into your neck to find more warmth in this cold night.
the group of the teenage survivors sat by the fire on the school's rooftop, comfortable silence fills the night. after a tiring and thrilling struggle to get to where they are right now, they finally get to rest again. though they were extremely upset the helicopter left them, they have no other choice but to stay here, wishing for another one to come and finally taking them to a safe place.
"should we do a deep talk? like confessions or something? you know like in the movies." you said, chuckling while leaning your head to suhyeok's shoulder.
"okay, first of all, please stop that lovey-dovey stuff, it's grossing me out." daesu said, only to make suhyeok plant a hard kiss on your cheek which makes the group—and you—scream and gasps in shock.
"just say that you're jealous, daesu." suhyeok teased, sticking his tongue out at the boy who had a sour expression on his face, causing everyone to laugh.
"oh, i think we should do that. what y/n said, i mean." onjo spoke. all of them nods and there goes the conversation.
from jimin's not-so-pleasant story about how she should just move to seoul, to how namra felt so glad that she finally had some friends, to daesu's singing, and to cheongsan's confession for onjo. you can say it was quite nice, it brings closure to all of you and you liked it. you like how it felt safe and comfortable.
you feel suhyeok's hands on your shoulder. you look up and smile at him before closing your eyes and rest your head on his chest. "what are we gonna do after this?" you said.
"what do you mean?" suhyeok asked, looking down at you.
"you know, after all of this is over, what do you want to do?" you opened your eyes to meet his.
"well, what do you wanna do?" he asked again.
"i want to eat your mum's jjajangmyeon, it was my favorite. i want to put my make-up on you and play mario kart together. or maybe roblox, anything on your computer. and then we can watch peaky blinders, we haven't finished that." you said, looking at the night sky above. the only thing that remains the same in this hell hole.
suhyeok smiled sadly, he wants to do that too, really. he would do anything to eat his mum's jjajangmyeon while watching your favorite shows, constantly throwing comments and arguing here and there again. but he didn't even know are they gonna be able to do that anymore? but nonetheless, he answered softy, "then we'll do that after this."
suddenly you felt a wet drop on your cheeks which make you open your eyes. "are you crying?" you asked.
"no." suhyeok shake his head.
"are you drooling?!" you said again, sitting straight.
"what? no!" your boyfriend replied, hands up in defense.
"wait..," you trailed off. another drop hit your face, and then more drops hit your face again. "it's- it's raining!" you yelled in joy.
"everyone, it's raining!" getting on your feet, you opened your mouth to drink some of the rain waters. "oh my god, it's raining! woohoo!!" you yelled again, twirling and jumping, feeling freer with every drop of rain that hits you.
suhyeok watches you with loving eyes, seeing you bubbly as that making butterflies form in his stomach. god, how he loves you so much.
the tall boy got up, coming towards you and picking you up with a genuine smile. he spins you around, the melody of your laughs combined as well as the others'.
after a few spins, suhyeok finally put you down, never breaking the eye contact. he keeps his hands on your waist and your hands on his neck. you both smile at each other before closing the gap between you both. sharing a soft loving kiss with each other.
you broke the kiss, looking straight into his eyes and playing with the back of his hair as you whispered. "i love you." a tear dropped from your eyes as the stress, anxiety, and tiredness starts to overwhelmed you, followed by a sob.
suhyeok's hand finds its way to your cheeks, wiping the tears away as he brings you to his embrace. "i love you too."
you walk hand in hand with your boyfriend, couldn't help but let out a small sniff when you saw the armies with their guns, the feeling of relief washed you over. finally, it's all gonna come to an end.
you put your hands up, signaling the armies that you guys bring no harm. memories of the difficult process for all of you to get there, the people that didn't make it, your friends that didn't make it. namra, cheongsan, wujin, joonyeong, everyone creeps up to your mind. leaving a bittersweet feeling in your chest.
suhyeok rubbing your hand in a small circle, giving comfort and reassurance as much as he can.
"there are survivors!" the army shout, bringing their guns down and rushing to you guys, checking here and there.
you're safe. suhyeok is safe, all the pain, all the tired, are worth it. even though there have to be painful sacrifices.
the armies led you guys to the quarantine camp, giving you clean clothes and all. you look around, looking at the people inside the rooms, crying and hugging together.
you look up to suhyeok, only to find him already looking at you. "we made it." you said, letting out a breath of relief.
he smile and nod. "we made it."
four months have passed. you and suhyeok sat together on one of the sides of a tent. both of your hands inside his as he constantly blows it to bring warmth, watching the kids running around and playing with each other. it started to snow, which you were so happy for. you love winter, you love the snow. it was such a peaceful scene to see after the catastrophe behind.
"are you hungry?" you said, leaning on him.
"mhm, what do you want to eat?" he asked.
"i don't know, anything. but i really want hotteok right now." you look at him with a scrunched face. "do you think they'll give us some hotteok for winter?"
suhyeok chuckled softly, ruffling your hair a bit. "maybe? we'll see. i'll make you one if they don't." he rubs his nose against yours. you laughed as you feel the tingling sensation.
suhyeok give you a peck before hugging you so tightly. rocking you forward and backward. "aahh, you're so cute, i love you, darling."
how you guys wished this moment would last forever. the situation isn't the best but it's enough, you like it. now that everything has passed, you swear you would cherish every moment you had. with your friends, with the people around, and most importantly... with suhyeok.
───────────────────────
not very happy abt the ending cuz i'm not sure how to end it but well oh well here you have it <3

Can I ask for Cheongsan x reader where he is jealous of suhyeok
Jealousy || Cheong-San x Reader [Part One]
Genre: comfort, fluff, romance, established relationship and action.
Warnings: SPOILERS! + mentions of gore, blood, of death, zombies (ofc), fighting and injuries.
Synopsis: you and Cheong-san have a pretty stable relationship, even in a zombie outbreak. Though, things take a turn of events when you find out why your boyfriend has been acting up lately.
Author's Note: Hello reader, thank you for requesting and apologies for the wait. Things got a bit messy here and I had to find another time to write! I got carried away once again and I'll write a part 2 for this one! Hope you like it so far tho! As for the other requests, I'm working on them. I appreciate the patience :)
Tumblr media
With Park Sun-Hwa and Lee Na-Yeon missing after the recent events, the small group of survivors had lost 2 people including Gyeong-Su. Said loss brought an awful sorrow upon the survivors, specially Cheong-San.
Cheong-San felt like he had lost a family member, a brother that was born in the wrong family, but a brother nonetheless. He felt as if a part of him was taken away just to never return. The heartbreak and regret were a huge weight to carry, as Cheong-san wished he had done something to avoid Gyeong-Su's pitiful death.
Though, you had felt the same. Gyeong-Su might've not been that close to you, but you sympathized with him for coming from a poor family yourself. Gyeong-Su didn't deserve such fate, such death. He had a good heart and was a good person, never did he try to hurt others for selfish reasons. All he had done was try to survive and help his friends. Now, he was stumbling out there like a lost soul with nothing else in mind but to kill.
During those mournful times, you made an effort to help your boyfriend by consoling him or making company during that night. Even so, Cheong-San couldn't bring himself to think in a less negative way and move on. You chose not to push it any further even if it hurt to watch him in such emotional state, as you had your own personal experience with said scenarios.
However, you had a feeling that wasn't the only thing displeasing him.
...
Morning came and the sun rose, casting a gorgeous color of orange throughout the city of Hyosan. The breath-taking sight being one of the only good things to happen after the outbreak.
You laid peacefully by the window, curled into a ball next to the chair your boyfriend slept on. Despite the beautiful weather, the breeze was rather chilly, and caused you to seek warmth in the corner behind the chair. The slight movement was enough to awake Cheong-San, who by the looks of it, hadn't slept properly during the night.
Cheong-San slowly opened his eyes, only to close them again momentarily due to the sun blinding him. As soon as he regained his vision, he didn't waste time and got up from his chair agitatedly and rushed his way towards the window.
The commotion makes your eyes snap open, painfully adjusting to the light of the bright sun on your face. You coward upon feeling the breeze, and as you come to your senses you instantly feel pain all over your body. As you had slept on a cold hard floor, your injuries from the previous day started to manifest themselves due to your body not resting in a comfortable position.
You put a hand over your shoulder and slowly sit up looking for your boyfriend, who just happened to be right in front of you. The sleepiness didn't allow you to notice sooner though.
''Cheong-San?'' You murmured, starting to get up.
He didn't respond, so you tiredly dragged your feet and stopped beside him by the window, looking at the crushing reality of the outside world.
''No one came.'' Cheong-San mumbled, watching the zombies stumble around.
You two observe the outside, feeling hopeless as more helicopters fly by, paying no mind to the school. The rest of the remaining survivors began to slowly wake up, you and Cheong-San sit down by the table with them to discuss a method of getting out of the school.
It became clear as day that help was never coming, which forced the small group to consider their options on a new way out of the school. One way or another they'd have to fight their way through an army of zombies in and out of the school in order to survive and get to safety, but getting from point A to point B was something entirely different.
''We can access the internet using a cell phone'' Cheong-San suggested, which made you perk up momentarily at the idea.
''But we don't have any.'' Su-hyeok pointed out.
''In the teachers' office.'' Cheong-San finished.
You felt terrified. In all honesty, you were even furious. Cheong-San volunteered himself to go, and you obviously objected the idea. There was no way in hell you would let him go out there by himself, but Cheong-San being the stubborn child he is, didn't listen.
As Su-hyeok watched you start to cry, he instantly grabbed his uniform and placed a hand on your shoulder. ''I'll go with him.''
Before he left, he reassured you that they would be okay before climbing out the window and catching up to Cheong-San.
Su-hyeok helped Cheong-San to climb outside, holding him from time to time so he wouldn't fall. Every touch of Su-hyeok's made your boyfriend flinch and grow irritated. It was a struggle for both of them to find a way in, and Cheong-San was desperate to get away from the man beside him so he tried another classroom but unfortunately, it was also full of zombies.
He backed away again and stopped beside Su-hyeok.
''You like getting her attention don't you?'' Cheong-San questioned, not sparing Su-hyeok a single glance.
''What?'' Su-hyeok frowned, a confused expression present on his face.
''(y/n)''
''Does this matter now?''
''I'm not asking because it's important, I'm curious. Answer me.'' Cheong-San demanded in a more irritated tone.
''Why? Isn't she your girlfriend?'' Su-hyeok retorted with a smirk.
''Isn't it obvious? Why are you asking? Just- Why do you like her attention?'' Cheong-San started to get frustrated.
''What do you think?'' Su-hyeok smirked again.
''...Go.''
''No, you go.''
Defeated, Cheong-San supports himself on the ledge and passes by the classroom without the zombies noticing them.
...
Back in the Broadcasting room, you stared outside the window once again, where you and Cheong-San were this morning, in desperate attempts to calm yourself down and not become a nervous trainwreck.
You knew Cheong-San was a survivor, but the school was full of those things, and Su-hyeok wouldn't be able to protect him all the time. One wrong move and both of them could die.
You and the others waited it out and it took you by surprise when Su-hyeok came back alone. He climbed in the broadcasting room and stared at nothing, most likely afraid to explain what happened. He was sure you would flip.
''Su-hyeok...where's Cheong-San?'' You questioned, the sad and heartbroken tone present on your voice.
On-Jo rushed towards the window to look for him, but he wasn't there. Cheong-San didn't come with.
''We got separated at the teacher's office...he will be okay. I'm sorry for coming back alone.'' He said, sending you an apologetic look.
It crushed your heart, it hurt you. But you still hoped for the best, you still hoped that Cheong-San would come back. You just had to wait.
...
After almost half an hour of waiting for Cheong-San, you started to get impatient and suggested using drones to find him. This could also be of assistance on looking for a good way out of the school, so the group agreed on the idea.
On-Jo and Joon-Yeong climbed out to find the drones and their pieces, it didn't take long, but it was enough to make you anxious.
Once they came back, you and the others helped get the drones ready. Despite you not being some sort of geek or nerd in any technology, you actually nailed it. Now there was something for you to be proud of.
The drones had worked perfectly, allowing you and the remaining students to see how the rest of the school looked. You almost munched on your own nails, afraid you would see Cheong-San hurt or worse, as a zombie.
It was truly heartbreaking and depressing to see former friends and teachers in such state, people who had normal lives and were human once. Now, they have animalistic desires of violence, tearing humans apart and eating them open.
In moments, Cheong-San was found, and to everyone's relief he was alive and breathing. Though, there was one problem. He was stuck on the music classroom with zombies trapping him there from outside.
You frowned.
Now you and the others would have to come up with a plan to save his stubborn ass.
To be continued...

ೃ lee cheongsan as your boyfriend
genre: fluff, little blurbs,
pairing: bf! cheongsan x f! reader
a/n: hi!! i decided to write for cheongsan since i have been missing him LOLL but yeah! hopefully i’ll write more for him in the future! anyways remember to look at the request guide here before you ask for one !!
Tumblr media
cuddling - he would be against cuddling, but gets giddy whenever you would be the big spoon. he loved how warm and protected he felt when you hugged him so of course he would love it even more if you cuddled him to sleep. cheongsan didn’t care how weird it looked to see someone so tiny, you, cuddling someone taller.
clinginess - he is the clingy type but not one who is overbearing. if he was with his friend group, he would occasionally glance over at you to make sure you were in his eyesight. he knew better than to cling onto you, especially when you guys had your own friend groups.
but if he happens to be anywhere within arms reach of you, he goes on autopilot. his hands immediately makes its’ way into yours and he will never let go. either he will hold your hand or hug you from behind with his arms around your waist. (sometimes around your neck/shoulders since his back hurts from bending down so low)
pda - he isn’t that big on pda. the most he’ll go is probably little pecks around your faces and on your lips. he loves kissing your forehead because of how shy you get when he does it. he usually kisses you to catch you off guard or if you aren’t paying attention to him.
he likes to show you his love when you guys are by yourselves. it’s just more intimate and you guys have no fear in showing your love for one another. it’s just you two and he cherishes the moments he has with you during these times.
jealousy - cheongsan is definitely one to get jealous easily. he wouldn’t show it but by his body language, you can see how riled up he can get if another person flirts with you or tries to get your number. he isn’t one to say something. he’ll just grab your hand and pull you both from that embarrassing situation. he wouldn’t get mad at you but he’ll be a little bit agitated for the rest of the day due to that random person. they tried to steal his s/o!!!! he would not let go of your hand whenever you guys went outside after that.
confidence - this is out of the window. at first he didn’t have enough confidence in himself to keep the relationship with you. he was scared around you all the time. he was scared that he’ll mess something up and you’ll never want to date him anymore. eventually this feeling would pass once he realizes that you'll stick by him no matter what.
don’t get me wrong though, he’ll still be nervous around you. even to this day, his palms would get sweaty if he notices how you look cuter than before. or how his heart beats out of his chest when you untie your hair.

Tumblr media Tumblr media
now i love this boy a lot. genuinely a lot. like i don’t think you guys understand how much love i have for him–
he’s a great boyfriend. he’s kind of everything you’d wish for, somehow. maybe it’s just because it’s him, and that exactly what you wish for is him, but still.
he puts great effort in trying to be good to you. he wants you to be happy, and if he can contribute to your happiness, he’d be more than glad to do so. so he’s always there, most of the time physically.
he’s a bit shy so he isn’t that big on pda, but it’s fine. the glances he sends your way, grinning with a knowing look before you both turn back towards the board are enough to make you happy.
he has full trust in you, genuinely. and it goes both ways.
he always brings breakfast/lunch for the two of you so you can share it at school.
he always waits for you at the gates of the school when the day ends, without fail. if he has to leave early, he’ll text you something like “i’m sorry i have somewhere to go to. text me when you get home?”
it took him months of dating for him to manage to add “love you” at the end of such texts. he was so embarrassed at the idea of saying it, it felt like a lot. but at some point, you both started saying it, and now it was just natural.
i’ve made it a point several times in my fics before but i genuinely think he would love when you comb your fingers through his hair. like it relaxes so much sometimes he just straight up falls asleep. and when he’s asleep, he’s very clingy (not that he’s aware of it, but it’s cute). he’ll be wrapping his arms around you, and clinging onto you if you even try to move away to get up or leave. basically turns into some sort of human… koala. he’s just glued to you.
you have so many pictures of you two. selfies, or candid pics of him. some live photos of him doing something completely normal, but once you press on the picture, it shows that he suddenly turns to glance as you and tries to swat away your phone with a grin.
he has a film camera, and he insisted on taking pictures of you with it. as well as with his polaroid one. he just likes having pictures that aren’t digital, too. and there’s one pinned next to his bed, specifically, of the two of you laughing as you tried to time and angle the picture right during a date in the evening at a nearby park. it was a fond memory and it comforted him whenever he looked at the picture and/or thought about it.
whenever you two are alone, he holds your hands a lot. for no reason, really. he just likes it and he thinks they’re warm, so it’s nice.
whenever you come visit, his parents are really happy to see you. they’re really nice to you and always offer you food. and when you head to cheongsan’s room you can hear his mom whispering to him about treating you well and this sorts of things, while he tried to dismiss her with embarrassment and left to join you.
you actually spend a lot of time at his apartment. you spend a lot of time sleeping, and some looking over the pics you both took. you spend a lot of time talking about random stuff while you both scroll on your phones, or simply do you own things.
sometimes you do something random like take off/put on your glasses if you wear some, move your hair to the side or pull your lip with your thumb in focus and cheongsan is transfixed for a good few seconds. then he’s shaking his head out of his daze and sighing in relief that you didn’t catch him staring. (most of the time you do, though, and tease him about it) but it’s not his fault you’re that beautiful!!!
well, the same happens the other way around sometimes, but he’s a bit oblivious to that. he’s also oblivious to how fucking pretty he is and how much you like looking at his face.
your phone lockscreens are simple, but if anyone was to stare long enough, they’d realize they match each other. he changes his homescreen wallpaper often, but it almost always ends up with a picture of you or you two together. or a pic of you holding hands.
he just loves you a lot.
love him just as much!!! he needs the reassurance that you do!!! be nice to him!!!
