what’s your favorite klaus moment this season?

I'll answer with my favorite moments from each of them, I think.

Luther: He had so many wholesome moments this season, but it's probably between him asking Viktor to be his best man and him and Klaus in the Void. I kind of lean towards the latter because the whole damn thing was so delightfully brotherly and Luther at once calling him out and building him up was perfect.

Diego: David will never get enough kudos for how he played the "Guy in a Carpet" scene. That may be the single trickiest acting moment in the entire season. It had to remain darkly hilarious (and it did), but at the same time, he had to portray a father whose son just killed his brother. The odd moment where you can see Diego starting to cry, then hold it together to try to deal with the situation, the fact that he was like a half-beat away from full-on Weekend at Bernie's-ing Klaus, being the least convincing at convincing Chet that they are playing a game called Guy in a Carpet, appreciating that Chet doesn't ask further questions, his hysterical screaming when Klaus comes back to life, his relief, then breaking down in tears at the very end after it's clear Klaus is going to be okay. Never enough kudos.

Allison: F...fucking hard, this one. I have a feeling all of s3 Allison was a setup for a hell of a s4 for her. I think, though, it might be when she has a panic attack after finding out the universe is ending. Her massive blowup with Viktor, though...that was a bad, dirty fight, and the writers did not have to go that hard, and it was brave that they did. I think they went too far, but I'd rather they go too far than keep underplaying Allison's potential, if that makes sense. With everyone else getting better this season, I think Allison's psyche thought it was finally safe for her to get worse. She is probably going to find, next season, that even though she has Claire and Ray back, she is no longer the mother or wife they remember, and that is going to be hard for her. She knows she sacrificed parts of herself to get them back. Does she fit into their lives anymore, or them into hers? I'm not sure, but I'm excited for her next season. Anyway, so, her big fight with Viktor was really good because you could see where they were both coming from, but they both somehow managed to be in the wrong, even if Allison is the one who was cruel in the moment. An ESH situation.

Klaus: This one is also super hard. The graveyard scene definitely comes to mind, as does his expression immediately after lying through his teeth to Reg about trusting him in the car, but there was something about his fixation with his mother this season. A highly underrated moment is when Five is showing everyone the book Klaus' aunt kept with news clips of all the women who died mysteriously, explaining it's their mothers. They flip the page to Rachel and Klaus reaches for her like his hands are shielding her, looks them all in the eyes with heartbreak, and says, "This one's mine." His interactions with Luther in s1 were what opened up his natural empathy, but this revelation about their mothers has actually been steering him from Chaotic Neutral to Chaotic Good this entire season. "This is the main thing!" he tells them, absolutely broken that all these women died and no one did anything about it. "This is my real mother. Her name's Rachel, and I have her eyes!" From this moment on, his attitude towards everyone around him, including Reg unfortunately, changes. He starts really becoming what he has always had the potential to become: the emotional heart of the group. You see this so much in how he talks to Ben, Reg, Luther, two of whom are actively dangerous to him. While the others talk about the paradox, the technical aspects of what's happening, Klaus is reminding them of the human element of it all. The actual victims of this tragedy.

Five: BALL OF TWINE, KLAUS! BALL OF TWINE! Look, I know my other chosen moments tend to be deep as shit, but I feel like I learned more about Five as a person in this moment than I learned about him all of last season. Even on vacation, he has no chill.

Ben: Presenting himself as the New New Ben. Something is just so right about him realizing Klaus is his true long-lost twin and actually trying to be someone he likes. I do also love him calling out Viktor for waiting for someone to chase after him. It's mean as fuck, but let's be real, Viktor needs someone to shake him out of that victim mentality.

Viktor: Definitely his reaction to Luther asking him to be his best man. This moment was some of Elliot's very best acting in the series. You could see just how much it meant to him--not just as a trans man, being asked to be his brother's best man, but as the kid who was never allowed to be part of the family. I love Viktor and Luther as a duo so goddamn much.  And you can see that Luther isn’t just offering out of pity to affirm Viktor’s gender or make sure he feels like part of the family.  He actually looks worried Viktor will tell him no.  It’s all so genuine from them both, I love this moment so much.

Lila: The drum solo where she just lets absolutely everything out. Everything. In every single beat, you feel her pain over learning her mother was abusive, losing her mother, losing her birth parents, losing Diego, losing her job, and finding out she is pregnant.  Not a single word is spoken, but all of Lila’s anger, hurt, and internal conflict go into that moment.

Sloane: We barely know her, but I absolutely adore a Beware the Nice Ones. Finally, we get a soft femme lady who will fuck up ALL the shit if pressed. So, her taking out her grief over Luther's death on that one guardian with a scream of rage.

Bonus best lines:

"You guys had gravity sex!"

"On a motivational scale from one to, like, Braveheart, this was, like, half a Rudy."

"No twine, no birth mother!"

And probably a bunch of others that aren't coming to mind yet.

My Possible Unpopular TVD Opinions

DISCLAIMER: This is MY fucking opinions, lets be for real. If you don’t agree, then good. If you do, then great.

This fandom doesn’t realize everyone’s horrible. One thing I’ve noticed about this fanodm is that people really like to pick and choose who’s the worst or the ‘least worse’ character. Idk, I just find it weird that someone favors Klaus Mikaelson, but HATES Damon Salvatore. As if Klaus isn’t terribly worse. Almost every single character in this series has done a multidue of horrible things, especially the vampires, so it doesn’t make sense to people do that. I understand if it was based on personalities, but the way people express their likings, it doesn’t seem like it is. For example, the whole Damon versus Stefan debate. Some people hate Damon because what he’s done, but turn around and love Stefan even though he’s done the same shit, and even worse.

Damon didn’t need to be labeled as the ‘better man’. Look, Damon is my FAVORITE character. I love that man with all of my heart, but truthfully, I don’t think he should’ve been the “better man”. All Damon’s life he has been coming second to Stefan. With their parents, Katherine, Elena, and damn near everyone else. And honestly, I think it got worse with Elena because deep down, she wanted him to be “Damon with Stefan-like qualities”. But he’ll never be Stefan. And that’s okay. I think Damon’s arc should’ve concluded with him accepting the fact that he’ll never be the better man, and him being okay with being imperfect. Not everyone has to be the hero.

Bamon should’ve fucking happened! If Bamon has one fan, it’s me. If Bamon has no fans, I’m no longer on Earth. I just really, REALLY, love this ship, I don’t think you guys understand. Honestly, it might’ve been better than Delena. Damon and Bonnie have some underrated chemistry and tension since day one. And they had a great set up. Damon sworn to protect the Bennet bloodline and now he has this girl who pushes his buttons alot, while he’s constantly pushing her buttons—UGH, I love it. True enemies to friends to lovers. They should’ve ended up together, atleast once. But we all know why it didn’t happen *cough* julie *cough*.

Caroline’s such a fucking hypocrite. I love Caroline, but she also annoys the fuck outta me. And I think it’s just her natural personality. She’s just so judgemental that it drives me crazy, and personally, I can never be friends with someone who always has ann opinion on the shit I do. What really bothered me about her is her drilling down on Elena during the first part of season 4 about Damon. Which I would’ve understood considering her abusive past with Damon, however, she never mentioned or brought up that as a reason why she hates Damon or why Elena shouldn’t love him. Instead, she came off really fucking hypocritcial because not even five second after basically calling Elena an idiot for picking Damon, she’s LAUGHING WITH KLAUS?!?!? Aka the most evil mf in the entire series, like let’s be so fucking fr. Klaus is ten times worse than Damon and this bitch is laughing it up with him over champagne. And not to mention she sleeps with him later on.

Bonnie would’ve made a better protagonist. Bonnie’s storyline had so much potential to be stretched out. Like she came from a very powerful coven that dated back to the first creation of an immortal being AND the other side. Her ancestoral history with the Salvatore brothers. The way she became one of the most powerful witches—like she fucking stopped hell fire, bffr. And Bonnie’s fine asf, she’s that girl. I think her character arc is good, and would’ve been great if racism didn’t occur with Kat Graham.

Elena is not as bad as y’all say she is. Can she a be a little self-centered? Yeah. But it’s not hard to understand why. During the first few seasons, EVERYONE made everything about Elena—especially Damon and Stefan. Like Bonnie was about to die for her during season 2. Everyone has risked everything for her. Shit, if people treated me like that, I would think everything’s about me, too! And no, Elena’s not a crybaby. If I was going through everything she was going through, I would cry every day and night. Girl lost two sets of parents, her brother at one point, and both of her guardians (Jenna and Alaric). And at one point, lost the love of her life (Damon in S6). Not to mention, someone was always trying to kill her, and then she had to deal with an evil doppleganger. Shehas every reason to cry. And the weird thing about that is, everyone calls Elena a crybaby but not Klaus? Every damn picture I see of that man, he’s crying his eyes out. It’s always that same damn crying face too. I love Klaus but y’all really be pickin and choosin who to pick on.

Damon and Stefan’s background should’ve been talked about more. I still don’t know why the producers, or whoever, changed their origins from the books (as far as I know they were from the 1500s in Italy) but I think changing it was so unnecessary. I don’t know why people have such an obsession with 1800s, but it’s WEIRD how we collectively decided to treat that time as an aesthetic while this country was treating people like animals, but hey, that’s just me. ANYWAYS, I think they should’ve brought up the brothers’ history and background earlier in the series, instead of waiting till the end where the rest of the story was falling flat. Because if we’re being honest, in the early seasons, we don’t know much about them. Hell, I don’t even think we know their birthdays. Like we’re aware of their troubled past, but we don’t know their family backgrounds, and I feel like knowing someone’s familia backgrounds helps understanding their core.

“When I kill someone, they’re supposed to stay dead!”. Alaric should’ve stayed dead. Jeremy should’ve stayed dead. End of story.

Kai’s actions are not justified. This fandom and hundreds of others have a tendecy of babying these grown ass people. So what Kai’s family treated him differently. That literally happens to damn near everyone in this world. It does not give you anexcuse to kill your entire family, INCLUDING CHILDREN?? Bitch you deserve to get locked up. They should’ve killed his ass but that’s just me. But Kai’s fun, I suppose. I just don’t like it when people baby him trying to justify him killing innocent children just because his father didn’t love him enough. Who cares? Go to fucking therapy like the rest of us. And then y’all tried to ship him with BONNIE?? OUR PRECIOUS BONNIE?? It’s like y’all forgot how he made her life a living hell in that prison world, which led her to almost killing herself. Bonkai could burn, don’t ever bring up that garbage ass shit ever again in my presence.

“What now?” you sighed, turning towards the man, you shouted, “yeah?”

“I need to talk to you real quick,” he panted placing his hands on your shoulders, “It’s me!” Ben!”

“Nice joke Klaus,” you scoffed, “but we have to go. Five is waiting for us.”

“No! No, it’s really me I can prove it!” You rolled your eyes and waited for him. “Remember when I was sixteen and I snuck out to meet you?”

“Everyone knows that by now-” you interrupted.

“Yeah but no one knows that we went to watch The Corpse Bride.”

“Even though we were originally going to watch Robots!” you said, finishing his sentence. He chuckled as you wrapped your arms around him.“I’ve missed you so much!”

“I’ve missed you too!” he laughed. You knew what he meant; even though he was always there, he was never able to touch you. You were still laughing as he pulled back with tears burning the edges of his eyes. He placed his hand on your cheek, rubbing his thumb back and forth, and pressed a kiss to your forehead. You smiled and pulled him back into you.

After standing like that for a while, he reluctantly pulled away, “I’m sorry, I have to go find Allison…”

“It’s fine, I’m glad you’re actually here!” you said, grabbing his hand, “you’ll have to do this again sometime.”

“I’ll try,” he said with a sad smile.

Positivity for Klaus and Reginald Hargreeves from The Umbrella Academy.

Not sure why but I always find myself interested in ship names when I start these. Like you said, criminal underrated ships normally don't have official ones. Reginaus, maybe? Reggaus? Not sure. I'm not super creative with them haha.

So, this ship. I haven't given it much thought when I watched the show, and I cannot believe I didn't! I love all the ships I've seen for the show, especially Diego x Grace, another underrated one, but this one slipped my mind!

Thinking back on just how intimate the shaving scene was, and how almost gentle and loving Reginald was to Klaus is an amazing thought, and I just love the thought of how they must've been feeling, ship wise, woof.

Along with seeing how Klaus treated Reggie when it came to season 3, I can absolutely see why anyone would ship this. It really needs more attention than what it has. Like you said, I only ever see Klaus shipped with Diego, Ben, or Five, but there's a new light put on this eye-opening ship that I'm very glad to see!

There's a sweetness to the ship when you see how Klaus reveres Reginald, and the power imbalance is definitely something that is interesting when it comes to ships like this. Reginald has control over Klaus, for sure, as long as Klaus gives it to him.

My absolute fav is Five and Diego 😂😂 I love them so much, they’re very underrated and I’d love to see them work together again next season. I can’t get enough of them 😂 they fight because they’re so similar, but they also work well together because they’re so similar. A very entertaining duo 😂 father and son but the roles are interchangeable, what a pair😂😂

I also love Klaus and Five. Diego and Luther as well, truly the Himbros of the family 😂

saddest moment for each sibling?

Luther - I'm torn between 1x06/1x07 when Luther realises Reginald never read the letters and the 2x05 flashback scene where Reginald just tears into Luther and the visible hurt on his face, both are equally upsetting

Diego - 1x04 when he finds Patch's body, the way he pounds the floor with his fist and then cradles her face gently? I'm in tears. How he speaks to her softly like she's still there, because for all he knows she could be a ghost, ouch

Allison - 2x03 - Allison's desperation to help Raymond, her finally using her powers again despite her trauma and then Ray backing away and the anguish on Allison's face? The fact she needs to be pulled away because she's desperate to explain herself :(

Klaus - Maybe a slightly underrated one but 2x05 when he returns to destiny's children and is just so defeated, and so tired, and going through the motions just hits me so hard

Five - 1x02 and Five finding his siblings bodies, especially when that horrified and grieved realisation kicks in upon seeing Klaus's umbrella tattoo

Ben - 2x09 I only have seven words "Can you hug me as I go?" That's all I need, and then I'm a wreck, and if that wasn't enough "It's been a long time since..."

Viktor - 2x09 and Ben finding him after he's remembered everything inside his mind. Viktor's guilt and fear about what he's done and what he's currently doing is just so damn painful it hurts :(

What's your favorite minor/underrated sibling moment in TUA?

Hi, I never see anyone talking about this but I love the look on Diego’s face when he looks at Klaus in 2x05 after him and Allison enter Elliot’s house. It was adorable, and I also love how he immediately checks up on him. I also love when Klaus tells him he looks like Antonio Banderas with the long hair and Diego looks genuinely moved. And every Luther and Five moment.

anyway the most underrated comedic moment in the show was in the pilot when five was coming through the time warp and everything was going crazy and for some reason reggie’s urn just flies off the table, only for klaus to catch it and scream “DADDY?!” in the highest pitch voice

in s1 when klaus is on the couch gnawing on his nails and five and diego are trying to get him to come with them to find leonard. esp klaus’ bitchy little ‘you cant make me >:(‘ before diego throws the knife at him

TUA kids headcannons no one asked for (part 1??)

•Luther and Diego were best friends but when Reggie favored Luther Diego got jealous and they grew apart from there

•Allison loved listening to Vanya play violin when but she never let Vanya know how good she thought she was because she thought her brothers would make fun of her for loving her sister

•Klaus and Five used to joke together all the time, and when Five wanted to time travel, he looked to Vanya, then Klaus, because he thought they would be on his side, but when they shook their heads no, he felt sort of betrayed. He felt like they would have his back, no matter what

•Ben, when he was 3, asked Grace the best he could if she could teach him to read. That was the first time Grace felt connected to one of the kids. She smiled and agreed, but only if he would help her cook. He nodded happily and every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday afternoon Grace would teach Ben to read, and they would make dinner together every night.

•Vanya loved playing for the siblings that would appreciate her music, like Five. If he ever came home from a mission in a bad mood, she would play his favorite songs, like Istanbul (Not Constantinople) and Losing My Religion and it would make him feel better

•At any given time of the day, one sibling could shout a line of I Want It That Way across the house and the rest would shout the rest of the lines back and they would jam out together
