to be honest I think Toru could've been a great villain but he falls flat because the entirety of Jojolion's end was such a clusterfuck

It’s still February, the “lovey-dovey” month, as I see it. So, here’s a somewhat comprehensive blog of “Would I Date That JoJo Villain?” Main villains only. Non-yandere harem.

⚠️DNI: bigots, anti-LGBT+'s, trolls, MAPs, proshippers (incest & pedos), anti self & OC shippers, and everyone else synonymous to the mentioned. You will be blocked.⚠️

Dio Brando: Maybe, but it'll lead to an inevitable breakup.

See the first sentence of DIO down below. Anyway, this is the Dio I would be willing to date depending on how we met back in the late 1800′s. He’s still a conniving selfish megalomaniac, but not as bad as Stardust Crusaders DIO and I’m a sucker for Victorian Gothic fashion. This is also the only form of Dio that I have any sympathy for, like “Hon-neyyyy! You were set. You would have been golden. You didn’t NEED more. You could have easily made yourself a fortune. Live the rich man’s life you wanted.” He was adopted by an old rich man, accepted by his adoptive brother, and graduated as a top law student, even still he was influenced by his sperm donor’s last words to gain all the power. All the wealth. So yeah, I would give this Dio a chance.

Kars: YES.

If you’ve been here long enough, you know he’s my favorite in the yandere JJBA villain harem. But even outside of the yandere harem, my answer is still yes.

DIO: NO.

I have a mate that self ships himself with Dio/DIO and I ain’t a traitor like that. 😤 Also, see my explanation for Dio Brando above. Which is ironic since I self-ship with One Piece’s Doflamingo. . . But we ain’t talking about him. 😗🧋. . . At best, Vanilla Ice and I are the adopted children that get fed and dragged along while DIO and my mate are on a date. We’re also carrying all the bags and coats so they can take cute couple photos together. And also, Araki had all the opportunity to bring back a sexy, mysterious, Victorian Gothic vampire. But naaaah. He made DIO a Neon Banana. It doesn't help because my least favorite colors are bright yellows.

Yoshikage Kira: No.

Not my type, I guess? Don’t get me wrong. Diamond is Unbreakable was such a refreshing, fun, and unexpected part. It was a major switch up from the world-threatening and inhuman beings of parts 1-3. But I wasn’t attracted to Yoshikage all that much. I think I need the extra ego and bloodthirst for my villains. 😂

Diavolo/Doppio: Maybe, but it'll be a No in the end.

Hey~ Two for one deal. 😎 But jokes aside, You Killed My Husbands! Seven of them indirectly! This is essentially a yandere situation without it being a yandere AU because I think Diavolo would be a good partner. . . If you know... submit to being hidden from the world, living alone in an Italian villa where no one can find you, and you have to move every few weeks, months, years, or maybe even days. You have NO Connections to the outside world. No internet for you. Doppio seems like a loyal and sweet partner, but he'd be the only good part of this relationship. They definitely have the money to spoil you too.

Enrico Pucci: No?

I honestly think he’d be a decent boyfriend. (Thank you to all of you headcanon creators that are still putting out content or are still JoJo fans. You make my day a little less bleak.) It’s the whole devotion to DIO that's a turn-off. Also, please don’t talk about converting me to Christianity or Catholicism at the dinner table. Or how about I introduce you to the entire Greek pantheon? No? Ok, how about the Tagalog pantheon?

Funny Valentine: No.

I have no right to be talking about the part 7 villain because I’m only ten chapters into Steel Ball Run. . . But from what I’ve learned through the fandom and the JoJo wiki, he’s not a pleasant man. . . So, no. Also, how's that infatuation with another Married person, who is also 15 Year Old Adolescent Girl hmmm?/RH 👀🔪🔪

diavolo is not a good villain in the sense of being good at being a villain. he causes all his own problems at significant personal loss for obscure and silly reasons that he expects everyone else to not only support but intuitively understand. he is not good at very much except being pretty and even then he's kind of cheating by getting scored twice. if this were a ranked list of villains who could have won their entire part by doing absolutely nothing he would also be at 1. he sucks so much. A+.

if this were a list of villains i think are cool and sympathetic and interesting and actually competent at the things they do instead of just the ones i most enjoy rotating pucci would be at the top.

kars is the ultimate asexual being, his motivations are very simple, his stats are ludicrously specific, his looks are all peak, he likes dogs. what else can you ask for?

phantom blood dio is incapable of just being normal about his one-man class war plan and if he were not pitted against a great dane's humansona his part would have been a lot shorter, which would have been tragic bc we would have missed out on my favourite dio fact: that on becoming a vampire and escaping to a remote town to wreak havoc he made a bunch of very silly and kinda gross human animal hybrids, Somehow, and then sat back and said, "in retrospect i don't know why i ever thought this would be good"

stardust crusaders dio is just here to chill in various states of undress and be sinisterly alluring and probably spends 85% of his strength holding back all the innits and geezers and bruvs and you what mates that would dispell his magnetic aura instantly

i am kinkshaming yoshikage kira but i am copshaming the morioh police force way harder. do not talk to me about incredibly thorough evidence-destroying bombs, when your missing persons department gets more calls that the traffic cops you don't have an excuse for failing to even harbour a suspicion about the man who introduces himself with a confessionary monologue. i like his suits and killer queen is prolly my fave stand design of all the villains tho.

i like funny valentine's little tadaa flourish and i really like that his name is funny valentine but much like his design his evil plan only becomes more and more generic as the part progresses. i will concede tho that his final play being a psychological gambit rather than wholly offensive was really cool until the moment araki chickened out of it and just had him be planning to shoot the hero the whole time. special mention to diego for having imo both a fun arc and the best death of any of these guys.

i have not read jojolion yet so that guy escapes my cyberbullying this day

47. Moment you wish could have happened?

traitor fugo 100%. in broad strokes i'd have liked a lot of other characters to get more development and screentime, some other fight match-ups or ability extrapolations i think could have been really cool, characters who seem like they'd have had interesting encounters who don't meet, but if it's a single specific event i think would have been really cool and interesting and potentially emotional as hell it's traitor fugo all the way. i think his reason for not going with the rest of the team is entirely sympathetic (not wanting to die is imo Quite Reasonable) so i wouldn't want a whole face turn or to see him "punished" or something like that, i just think it would be both an interesting angle on the themes of fate and how you make it and a cool and potentially depressing fight with a guy who's almost main villain levels of deadly.

1) Fave Jojo? I remember it being Jolyne when I read the manga but let me tell you, Netflix sure is Trying me

3) Fave anime opening? GREAT DAYS GREAT DAYS GREAT DAYS. Honorary mentions to Traitor's Requiem, for how rad the alternate versions are, and Bloody Stream for being the first Jojo opening to ever put stars in my eyes.

6) Fave stand? OH NO THAT'S A REALLY TOUGH ONE... oh god. hm. In terms of design, probably Black Sabbath (actually that's an easy one, haha), but in terms of abilities... I think I have to give it to Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap. Fuck the King Crimson memes, Who Shot Johnny Joestar is THE most confused I've ever been reading Jojo and I kind of loved it?

Yoshikage Kira still takes the top spot, I think. Probably the most realistic Jojo villain (bearing in mind that that's a WILD metric lmao), fun to watch, easy to root for AND against, meets a satisfying and appropriate end. I love you Part 4.

HMM. hm. I think Enrico Pucci takes this one because he's so damn compelling. Though I am finding that I don't have much to say about him right now... I blame Netflix Jail.

Okay I'm putting Funny Valentine in this spot because I find him to be a pretty well-written villain by Jojo standards, and I love his stand and I love the magician shtick he's got going on, but Jesus Christ dudebro Funny Valentine fans are the WORST

You may be surprised that Diavolo ranks so low, but the thing with Diavolo is that all the other villains so far did not have their writing muddied by the final arc of their respective parts and I did not need to read thousands of words of fanfiction and good takes or engage in Watsonian analysis to forgive that blunder. Though uhhhh I'll grant the brain worms give him a honorary number 1 spot.

Dio Brando (PB) may not be the most believable villain in fiction, but there's something to be said for how hard he carries Part 1. Not to mention this quintessential experience.

DIO (SDC) does nothing for 95% of the story and he still manages to be iconic, and I think that's very sexy of him. Plus, we wouldn't have Pucci without him.

There's nothing wrong with Kars, really, and him being this low doesn't mean I hate him? In fact I do quite appreciate the Ultimate Ace Icon. I just don't have a lot to say about him either.

I don't hate Toru either! On the contrary, I do love me a fuckboy, and I honestly waffled on naming Wonder of U as one of my fave stands. But man, uh, the shake-up to the usual Jojo formula did not work out for his potential impact as a character, and I have to wonder if DavidPro is going to do anything to help that when they animate Jojolion in 30 years.

1. kira yoshikage, he made part 4 a lot better and less boring, and it kept me on my toes the whole time. idk about you but the whole serial killer thing was so interesting and his plans and ways of escaping the main cast were so clever and exciting to follow. also his whole like appearance and stand are so cool to me especially because of the queen references. in the end you just wanted him to finally get caught, araki definitely did a good job at making him lowkey overpowered and hateable. i find it funny how he died by getting run over by a car/ambulance of all things lmao

2. dio brando. i fucking despise this bitch with all of my being but he's hot and i found him hilarious in part 1. well not really in the last episode/chapters on the boat because he killed jonathan and ruined my beloved erina's life but yeah. oh and he killed basically everyone in part 3 which is my favorite part. i also don't really get whatever the fuck his motivations are, this asshole literally woke up one day and went "yeah i wanna kill all of the joestars and get their money" or something and then proceeded to ruin the joestar's life for 100+ years without even being present for half of that time. yeah dio is a bastard but slay ig

3. the pillar men, especially kars. tbh my main point for liking kars is that he's funny as hell. wham and acdc i don't have much to say about. i found the whole thing with wham and joseph lowkey dumb, because wham deadass killed caesar and joseph was having a mental breakdown over it, but in the end they still kind of liked each other?? it was just weird to me but ig that's just joseph.

4. diavolo and doppio. to be completely honest i don't like those two (or him?? idk let's just talk about them as two seperate people) AT ALL. diavolo's stand is confusing as fuck, i don't get why so many people love him so much because i don't really see what his whole like...evil thing is??? like ig he wanted to kill his daughter (i am not excusing that btw) but like...that's it?? and there's this whole thing with the drugs in passione but like ok. they make him seem like he's the devil incarnate (as his name literally says) when he didn't even do all that much in comparison to mfs like dio who made a mother eat her own child and shit like that. idk the last arc of gw was exciting but i remember being incredibly underwhelmed by diavolo when i watched the anime

i didn't include pucci, funny valentine and that dude from part 8 because i haven't read the last two yet and i'm still at the beginning of stone ocean so i don't know much about pucci

i think it is veryyyy obvious what i'm gonna say rn. demolition lovers stand as a reference to my chemical romance. don't know what powers it would have tho. probably something blood related.
