every time I see that "words to use instead of 'said'" post I die a little inside.

1. Just use "said." It's an invisible word. If you're using it often enough that it's noticeable, you've got a problem with your prose and pacing, not your vocabulary.

2. half those words don't quite mean what the author thinks they mean.

3. if you use "uttered" more than once every 50k words, you're doing a lot of things wrong, and that's probably not the worst of it.

Internet connected us and brought all the knowledge in the world within everybody's reach.

It has already been filling with AI nonsense but it has been relatively easy to recognize as fake (not for everyone tho).

Now it gets harder and harder to know what is real and what is fake.

This can get people killed and start wars.

Remember that Trump became the president thanks to effective misinformation campaign on Facebook.

Imagine what this will do. Imagine the propaganda.

Imagine what happens when the short-tempered old people who have the authority of nuclear weapons will see a fake video that triggers their fight or flight reaction.

Imagine yourself in court watching fake surveillance camera footage of you committing a murder.
