Heeey a new rant for new episode~~

It won't be really positive so if you get angry, it's on you

Welll... It was a nice ep. But honestly felt more like set up for cliche "all heroes friends come together to fight the bad guy" season finale.

No real answers, since md is considered an arthouse I guess. And just as any overhyped arthouse, it's plot is too overcomplicated. Humanity is gone, dissesambly drones were the ones who killed all the humanity on Earth (from what I get), and it's still doesn't fix the plot hole of why AbsoluteSolver ordered dd to attack wds. It just doesn't make sense in overal story.

B plot of Lizzy, Thad(oh hello, you exist) and Khan with rebuild of Uzi's railgun is rather nice throwback, but... OH WOW, THEY ACTUALY REMEMBER OLD SHIT AND BRING IT BACK ONLY NOW?? JUST AT TIME. Without any build up. One ep away from season finale. Khan suddenly having character development offscreen because...? Cause....? Dunno, guess plot demands it.

J is just a fanservice and to drop keys, really important character.

For the main plot... Thanks for wasting Doll's character and just killing her off, without any closure for her character. It's upseting since she was one of the only characters that actually has clear motivation and her actions aren't contridicting them.

SPEAKING OF CHARACTERS WITHOUT ANY MOTIVATION

Why can't he have his own character and goals/motives that don't revolve around Uzi? Him killing Tessa was just too sudden, why he even went straight for the kill? N always was a more pacifistic guy, why he didn't just knock out Tessa?

N, in simuliar situation, didn't decapitated V that could've easily regrow it, but a human (from what he known at the time at least) that, you know, don't regrow their head.

Nori... Oh god, it's just Uzi with different voice and more of a annoying jerk than her daughter.

Though from Uzi getting some slaps from her own mom was fun ngl, and Uzi then throwing off Nori like the shit she is, without any sob reunion, is just toptier moment fr.

And now... Tessa Flesha twist.

Why it looks so bad? WHERE IS HER NOSE??

But honestly, unnecessary plot twist. Why then AbsoluteSolver tried to posses Uzi when it already has a host with a cool skin suit? Because she's ✨SPECIAL✨?? A M A I N C H A R A C T E R?

And even if it wanted more hosts, like as backups or smth, why kill Doll then? Ughhh... Anything in this show makes sense?

Nuzi is still forced shit and can be removed from the plot without much to lose. Only that shippers start to whine like they usually do.

Isn't they a nice pair?? ^^

Both with desire to be appreciated yet having different aprouch about it. One - is a naive yes-man who, most likely, lost his self-respect, and non-convenient bits of personality, long time ago, learning to not resist, to not make things even worse. He probably has a lot of anger and frustration about what's going on with him, and around him, but no one will appreciate attentiveness that may appear as rudeness and aggression. And the other one - is a workaholic higher ups bootlicker who, perhaps, herself doesn't like to bow before superior, in front of which she is helpless, but can't do much about it and takes all pent up frustration on someone seemingly weaker and passive than her. And he allows it, feeling pity with strange understanding about her pain, and having naive hope that she might've change one day. Perhaps some kind words and free opportunity to blow off steam, will help her to change for the better?

Or no. That's just my thoughts and small analyse on these two, perhaps headcannon ish af but hey, if half of the fandom makes almost a greek tragedy of one ship, why can't I with other?
