Zee reading a letter from a friend's mother after she died in childbirth. I like the way she's kind of isolated despite being at the family breakfast table because that's... very symbolic of what her dual identity, sex and general gender presentation do in her life sometimes.

Goncharov has invited a business partner to the (night)club where Sofia sings, and his mafia is active. Sofia sings and entertains them while they eat dinner, and all is well until Goncharov confronts the business partner for lying to him, and shoots him right before Sofia's eyes. Both dealing with the partner and testing Sofia if she can handle actual mafia work. (she passes, mostly.)

YES another fanart of a movie that doesn't exist. Goncharov (1973) is completely made up by tumblr in the past month, and I've been enjoying it greatly. For a tad more context check my previous post, which is a drawing of Sofia's lover, Katya
