AN: This headcanon wasn't a request, but one that I thought of doing myself, but you can ask for one if you want! <3

Synopsis: You, Y/n, are this character's best friend, what would that be like?

Characters: Tanjiro Kamado, Zenitsu Agatsuma, Inosuke Hashibira, Nezuko Kamado, Genya Shinazugawa, Kanao Tsuyuri and Aoi Kanzaki x Fem! Reader

Warnings: None (?), Fluffy, Not Romantic, Modern! AU

Tanjiro Kamado

— He's nice to most people, that's a fact, but he's even nicer to the people he cares about.

— Tanjiro is happy to see you playing with your younger brothers, he thinks it's the cutest thing in the world when you do Hanako and Nezuko's hair or play board games with Kanata.

— He helps you study, this boy is really smart and knows how to explain well. You are in good hands.

— He is very happy when you help him cook, and if you can't make some part of the recipe he will help you.

— He'll want you to meet his friends, and he'd be happy to see you getting along with them.

— He cares about your well being and feelings, and is always there if you need comfort, this boy is just an angel <3

Zenitsu Agatsuma

— Yes, he is scared and whiny, but he is a loyal friend and loves you <3

— He's smart, but not very good at explaining. He tries his best, but always ends up fumbling a little.

— Very, very affectionate. Zenitsu will hug you whenever he can, he will always walk close to you. You are his best friend after all.

— When he gets sad or scared, Zenitsu will come to you looking for comfort.

— He doesn't much like how Inosuke acts impolitely, and is jealous of Tanjiro and his far too kind treatment of you.

— He is capable of facing his fears for you. As his best friend, you have a special place in his heart.

Inosuke Hashibira

— He is certainly the most restless among you, regardless of whether you are a quiet person or not.

— Always gets you into trouble, which has gotten you a fair amount of scolding.

— Sometimes it ends up being a little impolite, but don't get so mad. He has some difficulty expressing how he feels.

— He'll take you to meet his friends, even if he creates some competitions to get your attention.

— It's not a good help to study, please, if you want some help ask someone else.

— Inosuke is someone fussy and quarrelsome, but a really loyal friend who will be there for you in most situations <3

Nezuko Kamado

— Usually likes your help cooking, whether it's something for an outing or just snacks for the afternoon.

— She is affectionate, she likes to hug you and comb your hair. She always asks Hanako to join in when you're at her house.

— Smart, but not very good at explaining. She can help you understand something when she tries hard.

— She is not a very agitated person, so the girl usually prefers to just talk or play with you.

— Nezuko is sleepy, especially after expending energy, so you end up being the girl's “private pillow” most of the time.

— She's calm, sleepy and all, but can be someone really excited when it comes to making you happy or just being around you <3

Genya Shinazugawa

— The entire Kimetsu Academy wonders how you can be best friends with someone as scary as Genya, but little do they know that the boy is a sweetheart <3

— Even with a frown on his face 90% of the time, Shinazugawa is a true angel to you and always shows his gentler side.

— He is not a genius in subjects that require calculations, like mathematics, but he does his best to be able to help you!

— Sanemi knows you, and even though he is the way he is, he's happy inside that his little brother has a friend.

— The kind of friend who is always there for you, ready to cheer you up in happy times or comfort you in sad ones.

— He introduced you to the Kamaboko Squad, first to Tanjiro because he knew the boy would be kind to you.

Kanao Tsuyuri

— Quiet, very quiet, but she tries to be more open with you and her sisters.

— She's good with botany, and she'll help you plant and care for the flowers if you like it too.

— Tsuyuri really prefers to stay at home, reading a book that interests both of them or watching a movie.

— She's very smart, but average when it comes to explaining, so she ends up asking a few questions.

— She's already introduced you to her friends, although she still feels much more at home when she's with you.

— Kanao is not the best person when it comes to comforting with words or communicating in general, but for you she tries <3

Aoi Kanzaki

— She is certainly the most responsible among you, acting almost like a big sister.

— Intelligent but without much patience to explain, although it is a help.

— The kind of friend who is concerned about your well-being, always ready to give you a hug or a scolding.

— She introduced you to her friends, and she is happy inside to see you talking and having fun with them.

— Not fond of affection, but she makes an exception for you when you're alone.

— A very kind friend in her own way, taking care of you like a sister, showing her more loving side to you always <3

I'm not sure if you ever heard of the fic 'Bitter', but there's things that it does right and things that don't (I'm going somewhere with this, I promise). Among the things that it does right is actually showing Izuku as resentful to Bakugou's treatment of him, he stands up to Aizawa in regards to the 'Problem Child' nickname and his double standards concerning his and Bakugou's behavior. Most importantly, he's resentful over Bakugou getting praise upon praise for saving someone, even though Izuku gets in trouble or is ignored when he does it.

It brings up the point that I'm not sure if it was in some sort of omake or light novel, but it showed that Izuku was actually pretty bummed/resentful that he lost against Todoroki (not against Todoroki himself), or maybe he was resentful at how the Pro-Heroes dismissed him during that fight, but I was like YES! SHOW MORE OF THIS, HORI! I know that Izuku's a determined, laidback, unfailingly kind and positive character, and I'm fine with that, but he's still human! Showing this side of him would have given Izuku a more rounded character!

I've never heard of it, but I'll certainly check it out.

This is all I need for the series. Izuku is a human being. Not only that, he's a kid who face discrimination/bigotry his entire life, was bullied and abused his entire life, has been dismissed despite being very capable, has been in multiple traumatic situations, and has been coerced into helping his abuser improve. I don't care how kind or selfless you are, no one isn't resentful or upset about those things.

I've been afraid to bring this up, but it's really the difference between him and a character like Tanjiro Kamado.

Don't get me wrong, he isn't perfect. But he still feels human while keeping him selfless and kind. Say what you want about Tanjiro, but he absolutely does not take anyone's shit. He doesn't hesitate to say that he doesn't like Sanemi because of what he did to Nezuko. He's never afraid to call Inosuke out when he's being insufferable (even if it's something minor). And when Genya says that he doesn't like Tanjiro because he broke his arm, Tanjiro (rightfully) reminded him that he was manhandling Kanata and deserved it. He also has a full-blown panic attack when *SPOILER FOR SWORDSMITH VILLAGE ARC* he thinks he's going to lose Nezuko.

Tanjiro while still selfless and kind and empathetic and mature, still acts like a regular human. He still reacts in ways that are realistic. And I'm not saying that he's better than Izuku (I love them both equally), but I am saying that one mangaka cares to treat their MC like they're a person with feelings, the other treats their MC as nothing more than a prop

She had already gotten tired of Yoshiteru talking about the story that he reread about 5 times a day, and as if that were not enough, her friends had agreed to dress similar to those in the story. 'Come on, it's not that bad! Look how the haori looks on me! This is fun! Be glad, it's not that bad!'

'What do you mean "it's not that bad"? DON'T YOU SEE THAT THE ONLY THING WE DO IS-!?'

'Touko, it could be worse...', Touko stopped, looking with Sumihiko at the room where Kanata came from.

She couldn't help it but snorted, she didn't think he would be willing to wear a skirt just like Kanao, his ancestor.

'Isn't it funny... This skirt is strange, how can you guys wear things like this...?' 'Well Kanata, you look gorgeous! Let's see, model for us! Cheer up!'

Kanata was not happy, he did not plan to do that, especially if he was wearing a short skirt

'Oh Kanata hahaha... The reason it looks like this is because you didn't know how to put your belt on correctly! Come, let me help you!'

'I'm sure I did it right... But go ahead I guess...', Kanata sighed, maybe Touko was right, he wasn't used to those clothes like she was.

Touko started to help him, trying not to laugh at the way he had put on his skirt, he definitely needed help.

Sumihiko also helped, because every time Touko pulled on the skirt to fix it, Kanata would shudder and close his legs.

'Oh please! I know you're ticklish, but don't exaggerate, I'm not even touching you!', Touko exclaimed angrily, growling when Kanata raised one of his legs and seemed to have destroyed the skirt. 'Maybe it wasn't his size... Don't you think?'

'Of course it is! It's just that if he wasn't so ticklish he wouldn't be suffering so much!'

Kanata covered Touko's mouth, it was already the second time she was saying that word and he felt that if he said it again, his blush would probably give him away.

'Very well that's enough, now I share Touko's idea... This is ridiculous... I don't want to play this anymore'

'Come on Kanata! We're already dressed up, you can't abandon us like this! Touko, take care of the skirt... I'll make it stay still!'

Kanata took two steps back trying to get away, but his back met the cold wall, there was no way to escape. 'Okay, but hold him very well... He is TOO much... Mmmmm what was the word? Oooooh yes! Ticklish~'

It was enough for Kanata, he fell to the floor with his face completely red. 'Do you see it Sumihiko?! I told you he can't stand hearing that word! Pay me!'

'Ooooh of course not! He may be embarrassed to hear the word... But if he doesn't laugh, then I won't pay!'

And yep, although Touko claimed to "hate" Yoshiteru's idea, the truth is that she took advantage of this to make a bet with Sumihiko.

It was a very well thought out plan, wasn't it? Well, at least it was for Touko. 'Wait... Was it your idea...?! TOUKOOOOOO!!'

'Yes, it was... So if you don't mind, I'd like to win the bet money. So... Come here Kana~!'

Kanata tried to run out the door and would have made it if it hadn't been for Yoshiteru closing the door, apologizing beforehand with "it's you or me!". 'DAMN YOSHITERU!!'

'Hey, no one can insult my idiot brother! Only me!', eeeeem... Well, each sister knows and decides how to treat her brother.

Touko suggested Sumihiko tickle Kanata's legs so they would get the best reactions. 'I just hope he doesn't kick us...'

'I WILL IF YOU DON'T STOHOHOHOP!! AHAHAHAHAHA!!' 'Did I tell you or not?! He can't stand someone tickling his legs, anywhere else he can stand it, but not his legs, right love~?'

Kanata denied, he was not willing to accept the truth, but in the condition he was in it did not help him much.

Sumihiko had to accept that he had never dared to tickle Kanata, but now that he knew this, he would tickle him every time Kanata wouldn't let him sleep. 'Are you going to accept it once and for all? Come on, I'll give you part of the money if you help me~'

'NEHEVEHEHER!!' 'Ooooh well, I guess I have no choice... Sumihiko presses his hips! Let's do it at the same time on a count of 3, okay?'

Now Kanata understood why Yoshiteru was usually scared of his own sister, she could be terrifying when she proposed to it

What Touko said was done, Kanata couldn't even keep still, no one, not even his own parents had dared to tickle him like that. 'Do you give up or-?'

'YEHEHEHES!! I SUHURREHEHENDEHER!! I'M TIHICKLIHISH!!'

'Woah! That was fast! Well, I guess you won Touko...', Sumihiko stopped and stopped Touko.

Kanata's cheeks hurt a little, he had never felt so ticklish with a few simple squeezes and for his first time, it felt like torture.

'Are you okay Kanata?'

'Yes... But you will have to make merit to be forgiven for this humiliation by Touko Agatsuma...'

Touko knelt down and gave him a kiss, taking it as a game, but Kanata was serious. He would make the three of them regret that, he mentally swore.

Alpha Hashiras x Omega Reader x Kamado Gang Part 2

Okay, okay, okay, first request in years! I've been working on this since you asked for it. I hope it's what you were looking for. [I highly doubt it is doe... especially since i went completely off topic at the end.]

[I aged up the Ubuyashiki Quadruplets]

It all started five months ago when you were unknowingly stalked by a demon. The slayers took it out, but the Kakushi made note of your secondary gender. And you got Kayaga Ubuyashiki's attention.

Kayaga started observing you to determine if you would be a good incubator. Which was his intentions with you. He decided to send the Kakushi to bring you to the manner so that he could talk you into willingly choosing one of the Hashira to mate with.

After you get brought into the manner, Kayaga couldn't help but notice how strange some of the Kakashi and even his son were reacting to your unconscious form. So, to protect you, he declared that branch of the manner off limits.

Two hours before he expected the anesthetic to wear off, he planned a Hashira meeting.

This is when the problems began.

"There was a surplus of demons in the Kanto region...." He stops himself as he senses that he doesn't have anyone's attention. "What is going on?" He asked his two children that stood next to him.

"She's awake and approaching." Kiriya states as he takes in a deep breath.

"That's no good. I was hoping to talk to her privately before introducing her to you all. But it seems as if that won't happen. Kanata, Kuina, Hinaki, and Nichika, go gather Lady ____ and bring her here."

"Father, can I also go and get her?" Kiriya asked, and his father shook his head lightly. His daughter ran off.

"Who are you?" You hissed at the terrifying sight before you.

"We are of little importance. Master wishes to meet with you." One of the four matching white-haired androgynous figures said as they approached you.

"No! Fuck that." You shout as you began to run away from the four of them. The Kakushi joined the chase, and you made a fatal flaw.

You threw open the door, and to your chagrin, there stood 9 Alphas and two Betas.

You stare in horror as everyone's attention fell onto you. You shook your head in horror and begin to back up before you bolted down the hallway.

That was actually your biggest mistake. It was as if your parents never taught you to never turn your back on your opponent. And eight of the alphas almost instantly gave chase. With very little care about respect.

"Father! You need to do something!" Kiriya yelled as he pulled on his father's kimono.

"This isn't how I wanted this to go..." He says as he adjusts his position, so he is facing his son. "There isn't anything we can do. This is her fate."

"But father, I want her."

"She was never going to be yours, Kiriya."

"Stop that woman!" One of the Kakushi yelled at the butterfly girls as you approached the butterfly estate.

"Stop, Intruder!" Kiyu shouted. As she Sumi and Naho began to charge you. You sneakily entered a room and barricaded the door.

Then you let out a sigh of relief that the whole thing was over. "Ma'am?" You heard, and you stare in horror as you turn around and see three men in sea foam green pajamas laying on three of the beds.

"Open this door!" Tengen yelled.

"Fuck that!" You shouted back.

"I'll help you." Tanjiro whispered to you as the alphas were yelling and begging you to let them in.

"Inosuke! Give me your uniform!" Tanjiro whisper yelled.

"Why do you want it, Gonpachiro?" He asked queitly.

"Just give it to him." Zenitsu says. "Get changed, and I'll help you out the window."

You stare at the grossest, stinkiest demon slayer uniform you let out a sigh and begin to undress. As you were dressing, the window opened from the outside. "Ara! Ara! Did you think you could hide from me in my own house?" Shinobu says with a sick smile as she enters the room.

"Did you hear that?! Shinobu got in! We have to break the door down and get in as well."

"I'm in here as well!" Kyojuro says as he jumps in through the window. "Best Buddy, if you are also coming in here, be warned she as pushed a lot of things in front of the door!"

"I figured this much, thanks, Rengoku." Tengen yelled from the other side.

"You know a proper lady only shows her nude body to her husband!" Kyojuro says as he takes off his cape/haori thing and threw it at you. "Cover up!" He says as he tries to take his eyes off of you. Once the clothes that held his scent so strongly was in your grasp did you notice an important thing that you somehow missed until now. The burning ache in-between your legs.

You slink yourself to the ground as you watch the Flame Hashira and the Insect Hashira begin arguing. The two's argument almost fight was interrupted by an explosion as the door and your makeshift barricade were blown away.

The betas made their way around the group of fighting alphas to your side.

Your brain couldn't comprehend what exactly was going on as your pheromones clouded your judgment.

Next, you knew two arms wrapped around your waist, and you were picked up.

Your Instincts told you to fight back to be by the alphas's sides, but your brain knew better. Whoever was carrying you was a beta, and they were looking after you. Even if your omegahood ached for something they didn't possess.

"Ms. Can you put this on, please?" A soft spoken voice asked you, and you nodded and put on the pink and purple gown.

"I know you probably don't understand why we are being so cruel to you right now, but I'm happy you are cooperating." Tanjiro says as he approaches you.

"I understand. Thank you." You says as you snuggled into the Alpha scented fabric you still had.

"It's only a matter of time before the hashiras are able to find us! Then what? Look, I didn't mind helping her escape but protecting her from being mated... that's a totally different thing!" Zenitsu says.

"We stall. Soon, her heat will subside, and we can have a proper conversation with her." Tanjiro says.

"How many demon friends do you have Kamado?" Genya says as he looks over you.

"Only three, I swear!" He says.

"This is a pretty sweet power. Invisibility..." Inosuke says.

"We aren't invisible. It's just hard to track us." Tanjiro says.

Genya makes his way over to you. "Ohayo, y/n. This belongs to my brother his scent is still on it. I think you could use it more than me." He says as he pulls out an old wife beater. You grabbed it from him and snuggled it into in-between your legs. "I think you'd be a perfect little wife for my brother. It's just a matter of getting the two of you together. And I think I know just the plan." He whispered into your ear.

"Guys I'm going out to get more food. We are running out."

"No, we aren't..." Zenitsu says and he stared the yellow haired boy down. The staring contest is broken off by Inosuke who burped as loud as possible.

"Yes, we are." He says

"You could say excuse me you know!"

"Why the hell would I say that?!"

With that Genya left.

"That stupid trader! I knew he was no good when he showed up with that Demon!" Sanemi hissed.

"I agree. What should we do?" Obanai asked.

"We should follow Uzui. He and Rengoku left a few seconds ago." Mitsuri says.

"Hello, Demon Girl." Tengen says as he opens the door of the young girls room. Nezuko is still asleep.

"Demon Girl, wake up and get in the box." He says.

But the girl doesn't wake up.

"I'm going to kill you and your brother if you don't wake up and get in the box!" Tengen yelled. And the demon girls eyes snapped open. "In the box!" He says as he points to the box she looked at him, and the fire owl beside him and knodded as she shrank herself and got in the box.

"Good job!" Rengoku says. "This way best buddy!" He says as he leads his friend and him off in the direction the group went off in.

"Sanemi!" Genya says as he approaches his brother whilst he was alone.

"What Are You Doing Here?! Why Do You Smell Like Her?!" He yelled back.

"Follow me, Kamado thinks he can prevent her from being mated."

"Hello, Shinazugawa!" Rengoku says as the five of them come across each other.

"Look, this Omega is mine. So why don't you go home to your three Omegas waiting for you. Maybe share one with your 'Best Buddy' if your that desperate to get him laid." Sanemi says.

"Absolutely not!" Kyojuro says as he stares the Wind Hashira down. "Let me say this you are an impressive man, Shinazugawa Sanemi! However, you are not worthy of an Omega such as her!"

"Kamado! Come out, come out wherever you are! You have someone I want I have someone you want!" Tengen yelled. As he shakes the demon box around.

"Come with me." Genya whispered in his brothers ear, and he led him to an opening.

"There is nothing here! Your wasting my time!" Sanemi hissed.

"No I'm not See!" He says as he puts his hand into the barrier and it rippled around his hand it disappearing once it enters the border.

"What the hell?" Sanemi says as he walks into the opening and he can see them. Zenitsu and Inosuke pointed their blades at him and Tanjiro and Kanao staring at him and Genya. But most importantly, you were there currled around his tank top. "Give her to me!"

"So you can force yourself on her screw that!" Zenitsu says. "I knew when he left, he was going to bring his meathead brother back with him!"

"Shut up!" He yelled back at the boy.

"This is why Kanae rejected your offers to be your mate! You are a ..." Kanao added after fliping her coin. The sound of him unsheathing his blade silenced the group.

"Give her to me or die."

"Tanjirooooo! We have bigger fish to fry out there, Tanjiro! That stupid three wives crazy man has Nezuko! I can hear him approaching!" Zenitsu says.

"Nezuko!" Tanjiro yelled as he ran off following his noes.

"Forehead, Yellow, Borekid! Where is the Omega?" Kyojuro says as he disrupts the mirage from the opposite side.

"You're too late, Rengoku! She mine!" Sanemi yelled as he quickly grabbed you and began running.

"Get back here, you scoundrel!" He yelled. "Best Buddy! Shinazugawa is taking off with her!" He yells as he starts to chase the wind Hashira.

"Oi! Brat! give her back to us! You know she doesn't belong to you."

"In two seconds, she will!" He hissed as he tried to adjust your position just to be tackled by the sound hashira, causing you to go tumbling into a tree.

"Heavens! Are you okay?!" A new voice says as you feel your body get lifted up by two strong arms. "You lot are immature! Delving this low all because an omega is near. You all should be ashamed of yourselves. I will be taking care of her for the extended period. Until the lot of you start to behave."

"Hinejima-san! Give her to me she might be concussed because she was thrown into the tree!" Shinobu says.

"No can do! You are no better than them. Chasing her down like this."

"Oh, and you are better than us? You chased her just the same!" Sanemi hissed.

"I followed after you lot to protect her." He argued.

"The way you swung at Giyuu after he said he wanted to put a couple of pups in her says otherwise."

"He deserved it. Speaking like that is distasteful."

"Yare Yare... just give her to me, I'm the one with a medical degree!" Shinobu says.

"Actually, the Kakushi and I will be taking her to be looked after until further notice none of you acted without the sqauve and grace that is expected of a Hashira!" Kiriya Ubuyashiki yelled, getting the groups attention.

"Like hell. You think because you Might become the master, you get to order us around? Fuck that!" Sanemi hissed as he looks over at you in Gyomei's hands.

"Shinazugawa! Enough!" Gyomei says as he lets out an exasperated sigh and hands you to one of the kakushi. "Show him some respect."

"I have no respect for the likes of him." He hissed as lunges toward you. Tengen quickly, with one jab, knocks the wind Hashira unconscious.

"I think we should compete for her affections. Flashily, of course. To win her hand."

"That's a perfect plan. Best Buddy!"

"Like what?" Kiriya questioned as he went to reach out for you, but Kyojuro, Giyuu, and Mitsuri intercepted him.

"Like a muti event festival!" He says. "A race will definitely be one of them. Another could be Discus. And another could be wrestling."

"Abuch of unimportant competitions that you are good at no thank you." Giyuu says.

"I agree perhaps racing is a good one, another could be arm wrestling, and what about best provider? That way, it can actually be valid as a mating games festival." Obanai suggests as he looks between Mitsuri and you.

"What does provider mean? In this case? Who's got the most money? Because that would be Kiriya. No question." Mitsuri asked.

"What about a cook-off? There was one at the world fair the year I went. We all bring a meal cooked by us and she'll choose her favorite." Kiriya says.

"What a flashy idea!"

[The day of the Tournament]

"Ohayo, Tokito, what are you doing here?" Tanjiro asked as he approached the boy.

"I could ask you that same."

"I'm here as moral support for Lady Y/N. We all are." He says as he waves his pointer finger around his crew. "I'm sad that it has to come to this. A competition. As if she is just an object to win and not a person."

"She is. She's an Omega. An Absoulte Omega. That's rarest of all of the secondary genders. She's like a status symbol." He says.

"Are you here to complete for her then? I thought you were a beta like me."

"I am. Master Kiriya Ubuyashiki asked me to compete for him in the physical aspects of the trail. I don't see the point, but I'm not going to reject a direct order."

"Who are you rooting for?" Zenitsu asks the group.

"Should I say?" Kanao says as she flips her coin. "No..."

"Bug eyed is the best mate for Sujiko. You've seen how bad ass he is back with that beastly creature. Or I guess the God of Festivals would also be a good mate." Inosuke says.

"Her name is Y/N, and I think she would be a cute mate for Mr. Rengoku. Or perhaps Mr. Hinejima." Zenitsu says.

"None of them. I think she'd be better with someone who wouldn't objectify her." Tanjiro says.

"I understand where you're coming from, but I don't know if you truly understand. As an absolute omega, this is her fate. Actually, it might be better than any other she could have. I read somewhere that Absolute Omegas sometimes are sold as sex slaves to presidents and kings. They are rarely taken as wives and not just concubines." Zenitsu says.

"I don't know who I'm rooting for, but I know who I'm not rooting for." Kanao says.

"Agreed." Zenitsu says.

"Kiriya Ubuyashiki." The whole group says.

This is the Hashibira House--hear me out

I've mentioned this idea in a few posts here and there, but I'm putting it here with my nine reasons:

I think Tanjiro will ask Inosuke to inherit the family home and charcoal kiln.

Reason 1. Kanata and Sumihiko live in the city and show no ties to charcoal farming. This makes me very sad, but although they inherit Tanjiro's sword and the earrings, and although the two of them both perform Hinokami Kagura at a local shrine at New Years (Fanbook #2 Taisho Secret), they are is no mention of charcoal aside from the "sumi" in Sumihiko's name. Even then, he is the second son, so it's kind of like they forgot the family traditional when Kanata was born. Really goes to show how much they still value the old family trade that kept them working with fire, hmph!

Although Tanjiro knew the need for charcoal was decreasing (Fanbook #2 post-epilogue comic), and although he'd probably be happy to see his descendant free to be a parkouring zookeeper, that's still generations of the family trade that's been tossed out. Not that Hinokami Kagura is needed in their world anymore, but still, that sucks some of the meaning dry. So again, I am sad.

Reason 2. There is precedent for the house and its legacy to be passed around.

According to the Taisho Secret right before Chapter 191, the house was previously used by Yoriichi and "Uta." It only became the Kamado house once Suyako and Sumiyoshi came across it when it was abandoned.

It was temporarily abandoned again later on when Tanjiro had to take Nezuko and make a run for it, and despite all the care taken of it the house is already hundreds of years old, so it wouldn't be surprising if it gets abandoned again. Still sad, though.

Reason 3. Tanjiro already kind of expected he wouldn't live there long.

In the Fanbook #2 post-epilogue comic, Tanjiro mentions that even though he doesn't need to, he likes working, and he wants to leave money for everyone when he's gone.

He feels the effects of his injuries and everything else he's been through, and needs regular check-ups down at the Butterfly Mansion. Maybe he'll be fine for most of the years he has left, but what if it's a steady decline from the easily-tired point he's already found himself in? Take care of the house is going to take more and more out of him, and his children won't be old enough to take on many responsibilities before he's 25.

He's at peace with the understanding that he'll be gone someday and hopes the others will live peaceful lives without him.

We know that Kamaboko living arrangement couldn't had lasted long, though, because he and Kanao go on to have descendants together.

Reason 4. Kanao's not going to have Kaburamaru for long.

As much as I have faith in Kanao to live near-blind in the deep mountains, it's going to be a bit harder once she loses her seeing-eye snake, and Kaburamaru's already a somewhat old snake by the time she inherits him. If she's going to continue being a doctor, she may have an easier time of that staying in the Butterfly Mansion with all the resources there, and patients coming to her (a challenge to ask them to go up the mountain for her services).

Reason 5. There's someone who might do just fine without those extra conveniences and resources, for she is very resourceful.

Even though Kanao would insist the contrary, Aoi--who always called Shinobu by "-sama" and never "-neesan"--might feel Kanao has more claim to inherit the Butterfly Mansion, for Aoi was always a little hard on herself and insecure in her role as a failed Corp member. I stress again, none of this would make a difference to Kanao, who knows Shinobu cared about Aoi just as much. As much as Aoi has demonstrated her ability to run a clinic, I have just as much faith in her to run a mountain household, including handling its inevitable repairs, as well as to go make house calls around the village whenever needed.

Reason 6. Inosuke is more genki than anybody. And, more importantly, he's learned to make charcoal.

This takes us back to the comic in Fanbook #2, where Inosuke is so well-adjusted to life in the Kamaboko household that he's not only learned the charcoal trade well enough to say, "buy Inosuke-sama's charcoal," but he's also a shining star when it comes to doing chores. He's doing really well with growing up and taking on human responsibility!

He is also, however, the King of the Forest. That's his home, and even when spending long periods of time in the Butterfly Mansion, the forests call him.

Reason 7. You know who else loves nature? This dude.

Just because he wants to be alone in nature doesn't mean he grew up on Mt. Kumotori, but I do suspect he has spent a lot of time there, because that's where the blue spider lilies--the subjects of his failed research--had come from. Although we don't know how this research started and who got the flowers in the first place, the potential connection is strong.

If he wasn't raised in that house, then maybe he and his family still go out there regularly to take care of it. After all, even if they don't remember who and they're unmarked, there are important graves to show respect to and take care of there. Maybe it was on a trip like that when Aoba discovered where the blue spider lilies grow, which put him on the botany path.

You know who he apparently didn't run into? Any Kamados, as he and Sumihiko didn't meet until Aoba was unemployed and Sumihiko was scolded by the police and they were both hanging out and depressed in the park.

Reason 8. Tanjiro trusts Inosuke.

Entrusting Nezuko to Zenitsu is one thing--Zenitsu obviously would do anything to keep Nezuko safe, happy, and comfortable, but Zenitsu's heart isn't in the mountains. He's a city boy and doesn't like the inconveniences of mountain life, and clearly he doesn't show much initiative for the demands of keeping a mountain home. Tanjiro wouldn't expect this of Zenitsu, nor would he trust him with it, even if he'd trust Zenitsu with just about anything else.

In Inosuke's case, Tanjiro understands Inosuke at an intuitive level--what he needs to hear and be told, and what Inosuke's strengths are. If ever Tanjiro got the inkling that he can no longer take care of the house, or that he must prioritize taking care of his small children and partially blind wife, then he wouldn't think of anyone else but Inosuke who would be happier having that home for his own.

Inosuke sure wouldn't be happy at first, though. That house is Kamado Tanjiro's house, and he doesn't want a house without Kamado Tanjiro in it.

But Inosuke, who has never had a traditional nuclear family, might come around to the idea of being the head of his own family, and having something normal and human like this of his own.

I can imagine Tanjiro would run the idea by Aoi first, who would accept the responsibility as an honor, and maybe this would come after Tanjiro and Kanao had been a married couple on their own a while in the house first. The town where the boys sell charcoal is big enough that I can see Nezuko being pretty happy settling down there where it's close both to home and more along the lines of Zenitsu's tastes, but eventually...

Reason 9. One way or another, the Kamado and Agatsuma families are both going to wind up in the heart of urban sprawl, far away from Mt. Kumotori.

It's only a question of when and why.

Im still surprised that there isn't a Kimetsu no yaiba fic with a Voltron setting yo.

Hear me out:

Three scientist have been sent to the infamous Kerberos mission, the place where no man has gone before, so far out out in the sky.

Koucho Shinobu, the youngest of them all and possibly youngest astronaut to have been given this mission, is alongside two of her most trustworthy companions. Her older sister Koucho Kanae and her best friend Tomioka Giyuu, recolecting samples that could very well be a step to finding life outside of the solar system. And Shinobu is absolutely loving this, unlike Giyuu who just wants to return home quickly.

And return home he does not! :)

For they are suddently attacked by an unknown spaceship, but not just any spaceship, an ALIEN spaceship!

And thus, after being captured Tomioka tries to talk to its captors, telling them they come from a planet of peace and are not here to fight anyone.

But only gets knocked out.

Soon we begin two years later, where three young space cadets are ready to land in the Kerberos moon. With Inosuke being the pilot.

The only thing that makes it worse is that Zenitsu is also with him, annoying everyone as he keeps having motion sickness and an overload of criticism towards Inosuke’s terrible piloting. This makes Inosuke mad as they both start fighting each other and forget about the misssion until eyes hear from the last and only voice of constant reason, Kanata, that they just lost a wing.

After failing the simulation and getting heavily scolded by their trainer, Urokodaki-San. Just telling them that Inosuke should understand he is only here because the best pilot of his class dropped out [meanwhile Zenitsu keeps Kanata's mouth shut after the sudden talk of Kerberos failed mission and death of the Kouchos and Tomioka]

Zenitsu, surprisingly, tells Inosuke that since Urokodaki-San asked they get along better, that the three of them should ditch out to grab some food and maybe go on a date with some ladies~

Inosuke just went in cuz heck yeah free food and ditching sleep.

At night, the two managed to find Kanata in the roof, just sitting there listening to radio waves, and Zenitsu, only wanting to ditch for a while, asks what he is doing.

Kanata explains that he made this satellite himself because he wanted to find some radio signals across the universe, but only managed to hear one thing.

Voltron.

Just then they are caught.

And not by any normal officer, oh how they wish.

It just had to be their worse physical trainer that the Galaxy Garrison ever brought upon this land. Urokodaki Sabito.

He is SO ready to beat all of them up [Zenitsu even fainted once he noticed he was behind him, Inosuke only had chills on his back and Kanata was way too stiff.] But out of nowhere an asteroid hits and he is called to get his ass over there as fast as possible.

So he does, but only after leaving the kids all stuck in one room. Not restrained at all.

Which was bad idea, because if either those three are good at something its escaping, even if they have to work together. Also Kanata just hacked the security so they can all pass swiftly to the dessert and find out what that comet was, while Zenitsu is being carried by an intrigued and exited Inosuke.

They hide close to some hills where they find a very looking alien spaceship being inspected by the Galaxy Garrison staff.

And a tent.

Inside of it, there are some security cameras which Kanata manages to hack into and they see none other than...

Tomioka?

Well at least they conclude it's Tomioka, though he has changed quite a bit, he has a mark, maybe a tattoo of some sort around his cheek, a streak of white hair on the left side of his face, his long hair was now gone, cut to the neck, and his left arm had been replaced with a robotic one that had the same blue markings as the tattoos on his face.

"Why are they not listening to him? He's a hero in everyone's eyes!" Zenitsu even used to praise him. After all, he had made so many achievements for being a few of the youngest troops to be able to have gone out into space. He was also one of the 9 fox members, the elite space scientists under the Galaxy Garrison, three of which hadn't died yet, and now four.

"We have to help him!" Inosuke shouted a reasonable selfless act but really this was too interesting not to pass up, the first one Zenitsu and Kanata had heard from him since they started training a year ago.

Though Zenitsu is still scared since as they see in the cameras, Sabito and Makomo, the two genius foxes are inside and inspecting Giyuu.

Then out of nowhere a sudden explotion hits!
