He's not to good at that kinda stuff, and it's not as if he wants to, either, with is his selfishness peaking through (which he is well aware of). You always be making him scratch the back of his neck while looking off to the side.

❤ He does his best at consoling you when he doesn't even realize he's doing it. Sometimes, when the two of you are alone, he will just sigh in relief and say a casual line about how grateful he is for you and how much he loves you.

✧General Yandere Headcanons✧ — Pregame

A/N: These are based off my own interpretation on their personalities, so oof. One of the things I wanted to do when writing these was to slightly mirror these four off of their counterparts when it comes to behavior and traits as a yandere.

✧Akamatsu Kaede✧

Kaede isn't someone who would take these feelings in a good light. Even if they were healthy, her reaction towards it wouldn't be any better. Immediately she blames you for how she's feeling because who else will she blame? Herself? Absolutely not. You're the dolt who managed to weasel themselves into her head just so you could mess with her. She just can't let that slide. From then on Kaede became a dreadful presence in your life. Even if you're not aware of it. I will say, deep down she does love you even if she lowkey hates possessing these emotions. They act as a weakness to her so she shoves them down when they insist on rising up. This is entirely unhealthy but Kaede has managed to turn it into a norm in her everyday life.

But oh, does she seethe with anger whenever she catches you laughing and smiling with friends. It's jealousy, envy but all she sees it as you trying to get under her skin. Who gave you the right? So, obviously her next target will be your friends. Kaede's ultimate goal is to ensure you have no one else to turn to except her. At least she can tolerate your annoying, blubbering self instead of those piss-poor "friends" of yours. Even if you reject her after all that, it's difficult to carry on without her constant presence. You're stuck with her.

If you're instant on avoiding her, Kaede gets irritated. Eventually she'll force you to hang out with her, dragging you around wherever she goes. You have no friends so you have no where else to go, so don't f.ucking push her away. Don't make excuses. You have time for her now. Kaede is extremely good at emotionally manipulation which is why she's able to push you into joining her. Kaede will never admit this, but she lowkey does feel lonely in life and maybe she was projecting when her jealousy took over her actions after seeing you with friends. Humanity has done nothing but disappointment her over the years. People lie, steal, cheat for the sake of themselves. However, Kaede saw you as the only good thing in this world, so she had to have you.

✧Saihara Shuichi✧

Unlike ingame Shuichi, this man is extremely delusional. Everything you do or say will be taken into consideration for all the wrong reasons. The moment you either give him the time of day or show a similar interest in Danganronpa, he's immediately hooked. Everything that you considered private is now at the palm of his hand. He's memorized your schedule, taken into account what your likes and dislikes are, drawn up various topics the two of you can have conversations about, and especially mapped out wherever you go (including where you live)! It's nothing to fret about. Your deepest darkest secrets are safe with him and he doesn't judge you at all! He loves you so much to ever hate you! Talking to you brings so much joy in his life (and other feelings...) even when he can't say much in your company due to nerves.

Shuichi is the type to make excuses in order to have your time. Be it through purposely getting hurt so you could coddle him or downright say whatever comes to mind that'll catch your attention. To him, being around you is addicting and without his daily dose of serotonin from hanging off of every word you speak, he gets irritable. His mood is all grumpy until he finally has you at his side. It's apparent that he's unhealthy dependent/attached. He also has the tendency to push everything to the side in favor of his interests, which right now are you and Danganronpa. He neglects himself because you're considered a higher priority. If you call him out on such, he revels in this new discovery that you also snap your attention on him for this reason. He promises to get better. It's half a lie, but he loves being doted on like this.

Rivals irk him to no end. Shuichi deems them as pests, scum, and dirt under his feet. He makes extra sure that he's right next to you when you're talking to either friends or people who've got their eye on you. What's a little unsettling is how quiet he is. Shuichi only talks when you ask him a question or your voice is directed to him. Your friends will probably think he's weird or creepy, and he hopes that's the case. He wants them to back off because they're uncomfortable around him. If they can't deal with him, they don't deserve you. Overall, Shuichi hates sharing you.

Being persistent only leads them to meeting an unfortunate fate. It's difficult to fully confront them, but working behind the scenes is what Shuichi does best. He's got enough of them to ruin their lives. As an alternative, which is much better in his opinion, he can just erase their entire existence off the face of the earth. Some people can never learn unless they're faced with true fear.

✧Ouma Kokichi✧

Kokichi here is probably the least yandere to worry about out of the four, as well as the most tame. On a scale of aware to delusional when it comes to his behavior, he's somewhat aware but sometimes he just ignores the gnawing feeling that something is amiss. It's not like he's hurting anyone or you, so why bother? To narrow everything down, Kokichi is a clingy and manipulative yandere. He's anxious sometimes when you're not around but lowkey feels like a burden to you. The crippling fear of being alone is much greater though. Despite all that, he isn't afraid to tell you of his suspicions about a person you're interacting with. Even if what he's saying about them is not entirely true. It's only out of dreadful feeling that one someone will be more interesting to you and he will be left in the dust. Kokichi can't let that happen.

He plays victim as much as he can; it's literally something he is extremely talented at.This is where the manipulative tendencies come in. In your eyes, Kokichi is a person who people take joy in tormenting due to his shorter than average stature and how passive he acts. He always comes to you to vent about how awful life is towards him. In reality, he is a rather mediocre to some and would sometimes get bullied or used. Other than that, most don't bat an eyelash when it comes to him. So, it's easy for him to stick labels on himself when it comes to your perception of him. If anyone who he suspects is trying to take you away, he runs to you with tears in his eyes. Someone apparently shoved him to the pavement and now his knees and palms are all scraped up. Trust me, he has evidence.

Calling him out on his behavior, if you ever catch on, results in him getting defensive. He's not mad. That's the worst part of it. Kokichi tears up as he questions why you're accusing him of something so heinous. Don't you trust him? He's been good to you, why are you acting like this? Every single thing you point out, he jabs back with a very airtight excuse for such. Now you look like the bad guy in this situation and you feel awful. To put more salt on those feelings, Kokichi forgives you... Because he loves you. After the two of you make up, his mind is reeling to find out just what bastard made you think of such things about him. He has to know, so it's assured that you'll never ever trust their judgement again. I mean, their so called words of advice made you look like an asshole so why ever believe them after that?

Bringing up his awareness again, it gets really bad done the line. Sure, he is somewhat aware but over time Kokichi will make excuses for himself for the things he's doing. Everyone is out to get him and any shred of happiness he could achieve. You have been such a good thing in life, so it makes sense that the universe would try to rip that away from him with people vying for your attention or someone planting misinformed into your mind. There's no way in hell that he will ever let you go.

✧Momota Kaito✧

The absolute worst to put it plain and simple. Kaito is a sadistic and possessive yandere who is all take and no give. It is highly advised to stay far away from him when he gains this unhealthy obsession towards you. Because the moment he figures it out, your life will not be the same. Kaito does not care about whether or not what he's feeling is the normal or twisted. One thing is for sure, you're not getting away from him. He finds it amusing to see you in a state of panic, knowing how he treats you. Every single day he comes around to make sure you're on your best behavior. Meaning you are not doing anything that can piss him off like try to make friends, tell anyone about what he's doing, or god forbid catching feelings for someone. Kaito intends to have full control over you and whatever threatens that has to deal with him. That includes you, which is something you absolutely don't want.

Kaito gets right to the point on the subject of rivals; either beating them black and blue or killing them. No in between. Even worse is if you're around when this happens, he will not care. He's glad you saw since this is just another reason why you shouldn't defy him. Also, how f.ucking dare you instigate this? No matter where you stood in these circumstances, Kaito will find any reason to blame it on you. Then of course a fitting punishment is in order. Every single one just leaves you pathetic and helpless since this man is cruel. He'll deprive you of things, isolate you, heavily degrade you, or force himself on you. Speaking of such, he's horrible due to the fact that whenever he's in the mood, it doesn't matter if you want it or not. It's all about what he wants.

He will occasionally roughly grab you by the wrist and drag you to a semi secluded area. Doesn't waste anytime as his actions are hasty and abrasive. Even outside of that, Kaito is always has his hands somewhere on you. Don't complain or whine, unless you want him to be unhappy. It's absolutely suffocating as he forces you to go with him or do things you'd never do. Again, there's no room for protesting. Do what you're told.

Overall, Kaito is an incredibly selfish human being to deal with as a yandere. No one, not even you, are safe from him. He's someone who sees something he likes and decides it'll be his. No matter what. You would even question if he loves you or not. It's just... He has an exceedingly cruel way of showing it and genuine believes that having you on a tight leash will ensure you never leave. He always tells you during a punishment that he could have had anyone he wanted, but he ultimately chose you. So that amounts to something, correct? Don't be so picky.

Kaede absolutely loves sweets. She wouldn't call herself a sweet tooth like yourself but she definitely likes them.

Kaede would be up to try any sort of sweets with you, especially your favourite ones. Que many dates of you two going from bakery to bakery and eating every sweet in existence, only stopping when you run out of money or space in your stomach.

She's very caring and would make sure that you're not overdoing it with the sweets. You need to eat other foods too, even if you don't like them as much as sweets.

She would also remind you to take care of your oral hygiene since you like deserts so much.

• Maki •

Maki doesn't really like sweets. In the orphanage there weren't any for her to eat so growing up she simply developed a general dislike for them.

She wouldn't be up to trying any sweets either, claiming that they're just not for her taste.

It wouldn't be a good idea to pester Maki to try sweets but on the special occasion that you come across your absolute favourite desert she'll try it just so she can see for herself why you like it so much.

She would quietly make sure that your diet doesn't only consist of sweets. She won't be very tolerant when it comes to this matter, Maki really values overall physical health and loving sweets is not an excuse to slack off.

• Kirumi •

Kirumi doesn't love sweets but she doesn't hate them either. She's eats a dessert once in a while after lunch. She makes sure to eat your favourite sweets as well and compliments you on your taste if she likes them.

Kirumi knows that you're not a child but still, too much sugar is never good. Of you try and eat sweets late at night she'll gently remind you that doing so will most likely lead to a sleepless night.

No matter how hard your favourite sweet is to make Kirumi will make it for you from time to time. Especially if she knows you're having a hard time.

Being a maid and naturally very motherly, Kirumi will make sure that your love for sweets won't compromise your health.

Yandere Valentines: Getting a love letter from their darling (Kaede Akamatsu)

It would be the best day of her life so far when she sees who had written the letter.

She had gotten love letters all day and once she found out that they weren't from her love she tossed them in the trash without giving them another look.

Maybe they had forgotten what today was? Maybe they were just waiting so they could give their gifts at the same time?

She had left a note saying to meet her in the music room for their surprise.

She had already given them her gift but they hadn't given anything to her. Although she was more than happy to just give them one, she will admit it did hurt a bit when nothing was given in return.

So, she went to the music room to clear her head. But when she got there, she saw there were other love letters waiting on the piano for her. She was about to toss it when she noticed the hand writing.

After reading the letter over a hundred times she finds a way to preserve it before adding it to the reset of her ‘treasures.

Chapter 1: My fair lady. Day 1 to Day 3.

Your POV:

I was in my dorm after that Monokuma announced that we have to kill each other in order to escape from the killing game, and I wasn't expected for it, but I will make sure that I will survive from this killing game with my close friends. As I was thinking about something, I heard my doorbell ringing, I walked up to my door, opened the door and see Gonta Gokuhara and Kaede Akamatsu, standing in front of me. "Hey Akamatsu-san and Gokuhara-kun, what are you both doing here, do you need something??" I asked them nicely while looking at Gonta and Kaede.

*few minutes later*

After Kaede left to Shuichi, I was about to go to my dorm, but I got pulled closer to Gonta, I looked at Gonta in confusion, but when I heard that Gonta wanted to have a dance with me, I was confused at first, but I agree to dance with Gonta, as the slow dancing music started playing, me and Gonta started slow dancing together while enjoying the 1st moment, I don't blame him for making this happen, but I loved having this moment with Gonta..

Gonta's POV:

Gonta enjoy with Gonta's little butterfly, Gonta wants his little butterfly to be with Gonta forever, and started to have an wedding once Gonta and Gonta's little butterfly to survive of the Killing game and have a family of Gonta Gokuhara and Y/n Gokuhara.

As Gonta and Gonta's little butterfly keeping slow dancing, Y/n-chan started to feel exhausted and was about to sleep, Gonta stopped the slow dancing music, lifts Gonta's little butterfly up in bridal style, and started walking to the dorms while heading into Gonta's dorm, Gonta walked to his nice clean bed, puts his little butterfly into Gonta's bed, and kiss Y/n in the forehead.

"Goodnight, Gonta's fair lady..."

Oh yeah self projection time B) I was gunna post the pregame kokichi hcs today but I feel like I need to rewrite it again >.< anyways! Hope you enjoy and thanks for requesting ♡

Kaede had just about given up on love, no matter where she looked she just didn’t understand it like other people.

She didn’t get anything like weddings, Valentine’s day and PDA she especially hated. Always glaring at couples with a nasty side eye.

At the end of the day she felt an emptiness, a void that can’t be filled. She longed for somebody, anybody, for intimacy and companionship. She’d worsen her state by telling herself such things were unobtainable, especially for someone like her, she knew deep down that love wasn’t real.

That’s why when she eventually came into your life, she wasn’t so fond of you. Your bubbly charming attitude just irked her, “Why do you care so much about your friends y/n, they all leave in the end anyways.” She’d think to herself.

Although even with her annoyance to you

She couldn’t help but dead pan in your direction, your personality made her sick, that’s what she told herself at least. Even if you tried to engage with her all you’ll receive is being ignored and possible even an eye roll.

But still she couldn’t help but be captivated by you. There was just something about you, your personality, your hope, your belief in others. In her mind was a battlefield, in constant disarray, “I hate them, I hate them.” like a mantra repeating.

She’d never felt so strongly about another person, these emotions, she really didn’t understand what it was exactly. All she knew is that she liked to watch, to be an observer, learning about you was somehow addictive. There was something so beautiful about the sound of your music.

Stalking your social media’s late every night with a scowl and a forming blush on her face. Looking closely about every physical detail, butterflies seemingly fighting in her tummy. She didn’t want to admit defeat.

She’d constantly talk bad about you behind your back. You barely even knew each other, but she felt the need to exaggerate all your bad qualities to others just to get any kind of relief.

Until others started to show an interest in you, you’ve always had a lot of friends but when people approached you with other, more romantic things in mind, she became outraged. How could they like someone like you?

More and more as your relationships grew, she grew a strong yearning. You were always with them, being cute and it made her mad but it was a different kind of mad.

At night, she’d fall asleep thinking fantasies of you and her together, being together just like you were with your partner, just, with her instead. And in the day, fantasies of ripping apart that idiot person you seemed to love so much. She’d even start to take an interest in classical music, imagining, it’s because of a totally unrelated reason.

While Kaede still didn’t understand what she was going through, she couldn’t get you out of her mind, you took up every single waking moment of her life by now. She needed you, somehow, to have you all to herself so that she could be the only one to look at you and hear that beautiful voice talk about your interests.

She’d try to talk to you but end up canceling because of her nerves, she couldn’t get herself to approach you. Especially after the way she’d treated you, all those bad things she’s said about you. Not that she was sorry exactly, but she couldn’t bring herself to do it.

That’s when her darker side kicked in, she devised a perfect plan to get what she wanted. She didn’t care about anything until she had met you, you gave her something to live for and care about. She was sick of being alone, being without you and all that would end tonight.

She’d overheard a conversation between you and your significant other about date plans that afternoon, she sensed a perfect opportunity to take her plan into action. You two agreed to meet behind the building at the end of the day and head to the park for some fresh air.

She looked both ways as she stuffed a note into your significant other’s locker asking to meet earlier than planned. She watches as they read the note and started to head over there, laughing to herself, this was all playing out too well.

Carefully she trailed behind them until they reached the destination, slowing approaching them from behind, staring at the back of their head with an stretched evil grin before raising a bat she carried high in the air before bringing it down on their skull.

Not a sound.

Swiftly carrying the body away, fortunate enough to get back before you arrived. She waited patiently until you came and tapped on her shoulder mistaking you for someone else more dear. Feeling your touch for the first time gave her just enough initiative and adrenaline to turn around still smiling in utter excitement.

Before you could ask any questions she shoved a needle into your neck, injecting a strange liquid into your bloodstream. You found the world growing darker and darker as you passed out in her arms staring back up into her almost heart shaped pupils.

And she replied occasionally! It made your heart soar.

She held an event and of course you bought tickets, counting down the days until you found yourself in the wide audience, starting at her as came out on stage. And something hit you, a realisation that should have hit a while back. You cheeks flushed red, eyes stuck on her. Her pretty face and graceful wave, and you could have sworn for a second she looked right at you. Running into her after the show, watching her smile right at you, agreeing to take a photo. SAYAKA MAIZONO

🎤 my 2nd beloved okay, she'd most likely do it for a concert or something. she loves her long hair, but is perfectly content with having shorter hair, since her long hair can get tiring to take care of every day.

🎤 so, she had to cut her hair, and you offered. she was hesitant at first, she didn't think you really knew how to do it, but you assured her plenty of times that you knew what you were doing.

🎤 "i don't know, S/O.. are you sure you know how to cut hair?" she was worried, but you just grinned and nodded. "totally. this popstars girlfriend knows what she's doing!" sayaka knows she can rely on you, but she does really want this to look good for her fans.

🎤 she wanted to get a haircut from a professional, but she decided against it in the end. she wanted hers to be unique, to be from her beloved! "alright, fine." she sees how you just burst into excitement, and doesn't regret her decision.

🎤 you didn't respond, only giving her the mirror, and sprinted out of the room once more to get a broom. you found a broom right away, but didn't go back into the room yet, you just waited to hear a reaction from her. she would like it, hopefully.

🎤 and just as you were begin to think she disliked it, you heard a squeal, followed by a loud noise, as if something had fallen over. you assumed it was the chair, and not the equipment you used. 🎮 she didn't think that you would do it for her though, so imagine how her eyes widen when she realized you're going to cut her hair for her. though chiaki doesn't mind you cutting her hair and stuff, she'd rather a professional do it. just in case she or you would get hurt, but you told her that you could do it!

🎮 it didn't really take much convincing, just promising that you would be extremely careful when doing this. "S/O, please be cautious when you're cutting my hair.. i don't wanna get injured." you nod, putting your hands on your hips. "don't you worry, sweetheart! i'd never do anything to harm you."

🎮 you sweatdropped and turned your head so she couldn't hear you, and whispered, "maybe on accident, but never on purpose."

🎮 she sat down on the chair, and wore the black garbage bag you gave her. you clipped it so it wouldn't fall, and begin to cut her hair. chiaki would most likely sleep while the process is happening, so you have to lift her head and turn her head manually, since you don't really want to disturb her while she's asleep.

🎮 she's still sleeping by the time you're done, and you wait a few minutes until you shake chiaki awake. she slowly lifts her head, and yawns. she looks down at the floor, and sees her hair, she's not surprised, it seemed that this haircut would require to get rid of most of her hair.

🔎 honestly i think she'd be hot af with this type of hairstyle lmao she's raising an eyebrow once you suggest it, and at first declines. why would she need to do that? her hair right now was fine.

🔎 that is, until you showed her what haircut you were giving her. kyoko thought it looked.. great, although she wouldn't admit it. after you showed her how it looked like, she nodded. "it looks fine, i suppose i could try it out."

🔎 she suspected you'd do it yourself, she didn't know why, but she had a feeling. and her gut was correct, you were doing it yourself. she didn't object, but she did tell you to be cautious when you're shaving the side of her head and cutting her hair.

🔎 you just nodded throughout her lecturing, and playfully groaned a few times. kyoko seemed to be very serious about safety, so you took her lecture to heart, but you'd rather die than admit that. "fineee, i'll follow your rules, mom." she stared at you with a blank face, and then it turned into a "are you kidding me" face.

🔎 she walked to the chair, and sat down on it. she then looked at you, "are you going to give me an apron?" you blinked, and then realized what she meant, scrambling to get a black apron and asked her to put it on. she did, and you clipped it.

🔎 "huh, your hair is long." she sighed, but slightly smiled, unfortunately though, you couldn't see it. "you don't say, S/O." you ignored that, went straight to brushing her hair and just generally preparing for when you were going to permanently cut her hair.

"naegi messaged you," she took the phone, and read the lucky student's message. it was something along the lines of "kiri hellp togami is gonnaa kill me", and kyoko just responded with, "deal with him, i am at a very important meeting." naegi replied, "HOW AM I SUPPSED TO DELA WITH TOGAMJ AND HOW IMPORTANT IS THS TMEETING", she left him on read and set the phone down, and her phone kept vibrating with notifications from naegi.

🔎 yeah.. he's probably missing the day you come back the next day. anyway, you're done doing her hair, and rubbed your hands together. "agh- wait, i need to go to the bathroom," you left the room to go to the bathroom, leaving kyoko to think about what it looked like on her. did you think it looked good? i mean, did it look good?

🔎 she got up from the chair, looked around for a mirror, and looked at her reflection. to be honest, she looked absolutely amazing. the hairstyle fit her, and she really wouldn't mind looking like this for the rest of her life. kyoko continued to examining herself and the haircut you gave her, then made a hum of approval.

🔎 you came back a few minutes after, "kyoko! sorry, i just realized i didn't-" you stopped your sentence once you saw kyoko and the mirror. she turned around, saw you, and nodded. "this haircut is pleasant." your mind crashed, then you later on let out a sigh of relief. "phew, thank Atua."

🎼 "i can do this, nothing too much for the ultimate hairdresser!" you proudly said, which made kaede more excited than she already was. she squealed, jumping around and celebrating.

🎼 after a few minutes later, you were ready to style her hair the way she wanted it. so, you went into your "greatest room", as you call it, and organize everything in there before you called kaede in to officially cut her hair.

🎼 "alright piano woman! come in!" you yelled out for her, and she peeked through the door with an eyebrow raised. "c'mon, S/O! i told you not to call me piano woman.." she face palmed, and walked into the room, observing everything. "huh, this is oddly clean," your girlfriend looked at you with a grin, "i'm surprised." you gasped dramatically, clearly over exaggerating. "rude!"

🎼 "get onto the chair or i won't cut your hair," your demeanor immediately changed, seeming smug instead of offended. kaede rolled her eyes, and sat onto the chair, "i can't deny that i'm fairly excited about this." she admitted, giggling. you take it as a compliment.

🎼 you're doing preparations, and both of you hear a doorbell. you groaned, "dang it," you told kaede that you'd be back after you answered the door. you walked to the door, and looked through the peephole. oh, it was just saihara.

🎼 what the fuck was saihara doing here.

🎼 you open the door with a face that was just screaming "wtf", but disappointingly, the detective didn't notice. "u-um.. hello, akamatsu is here, right..?" he's timid, and he's literally shaking. you didn't know why, you're not intimidating. or maybe because he's an introvert, and he's not used to being around other people.

🎼 "she is, saihara. but we're actually doing something, i was about to cut her hair." you explain, and saihara's eyes widened. "oh- i-i'm sorry, i was just visiting.." he was apologetic as always, and you just awkwardly smiled, "you can come inside and watch me cut kaede's hair, i'm sure she won't mind."

🎼 so you lead him to the room, and you bring him an extra chair to sit on. he watched as you shaved some hair off, cut some hair off, and all that hairdresser shit. then, you were finished. you turned to the detective, who was avoiding eye contact. "saihara, could you fetch me the broom in the kitchen? thank you." he nodded, sprinting out of the room (and nearly tripping, somehow) to get what you had asked him for.

🎼 kaede looked down and played with her fingers. "fetch? really, S/O?" you sweatdropped, "yeah, i'm not sure why i used that word either, trust me." she quietly laughed, and then asked for a mirror. you thought about it, but declined, saying that sweeping the floor was important (priorities, yes) than showing herself how she looked like.

🎼 she pouted, disappointed that you wouldn't let her see how cool she looked. "S/O, let me see! i need to know!" she exclaimed, but you still denied. eventually, kaede gave up on trying to persuade you to give her a mirror.

🎼 saihara had come back with the broom, so you thanked him, and swept the floor. saihara, when he saw kaede's hair, was shocked. he wouldn't admit that in front of the person who literally had scissors near her and was kaede's girlfriend, but kaede was gorgeous (not that she wasn't already gorgeous)! he means that in a platonic way, of course.

🎼 she's stunned to silence once she sees herself, she looks.. great. she looks up with you with a surprised expression, mouth agape, eyes widened, all that stuff. this made you chuckle, "geez, kaede. it's not that big of a deal."

🎼 her eyes twitch, "how is it not that big of a deal!? this is amazing!!" she's absolutely happy with the outcome, and she's definitely going to flex her hair to her classmates, mostly unintentionally.
