vedic astrology observations

philosophical songwriters often have tropical virgo and pisces placements. many of them have jupiter ruled nakshatras. mrigashira nakshatra pops up a lot as well. all of these placements contribute to the contemplative nature of these natives, they are deeply reflective and take on an almost religious tone with regard to how they speak of things.

Maleficent is played by Rohini sun, Revati moon native, Angelina Jolie

i've previously talked about how Rohini nakshatra is associated with shape shifting and transformation and Revati nakshatra is known as the wealth giving star. These two combined create the ability to deeply transform one's life, heal from old wounds and ways of living and rise to the high echelons of society. They're both known for creating wealth. it only makes sense that these natives would be chosen time and time again to play the "fairy godmother" responsible for transforming the lives of a virtuous person trapped in unjust circumstances

4. ive noticed that many mars ruled men (mrigashira, chitra, dhanishta) go after older women 👀 bharani is another nakshatra that pops up often (bharani is the meeting point of mars and venus)

my personal take on this is that mars influence makes natives interested in taboo and unconventional topics and areas. all 3 mars ruled nakshatras belong to the "servant caste" and bharani is an outcaste nakshatra. what this says is that these people have no desire or need to conform or adhere to the norms set by society. they don't care for the status quo and feel no sense of belonging to mainstream society so they simply do as they please<3

Ashton Kutcher, Dhanishta stellium (sun,moon & venus) was married to Demi Moore who is 15 years older than him. Demi is a Bharani moon.

Aaron Taylor Johnson has Mrigashira sun, Dhanishta moon and venus in Bharani and his wife Sam Taylor Johnson is 24 years older than him.

Jupiter being the largest planet creates voluptuousness in its natives often blessing them with large breasts (obviously other placements will also impact your appearance) Cancer rashi because well, cancer rules the moon and the chest so its kind of a no brainer and honestly every cancer girl ik irl has a big bosom. Moon is yin and bestows its natives with a very curvy physique.

god i just found out my aunt has a scorpio rising and it's AMAZING how different the risings can manifest... i have a friend who's a virgo sun/aries moon/scorpio rising who's the typical one, intensely observant and introvert but my aunt is like a powerful fucking lion never backing down totally uncompromising very loud and commanding of the room... she's libra sun/cancer moon but scorpio mars conjunct sun + sag jup and scorp merc in 1st. astrology is amazing.

*cough* the ascendant is objectively the most important part in the chart *cough* and Im not saying that just to say that, Im saying that because the ascendant essentially points to everything else in your chart as its ever present. The ascendant changes constantly throughout the day which makes it very important! It points to the houses, the chart ruler, our physical energy but also our morals. I know every part of the natal chart is necessary but I dont think theres a planet thats as powerful as the ascendant, but thats just me. Some people think its the sun, others the moon, i respect all choices. Scorpio mars in first is powerful as he by the way! Iconic. Its crazy how if someone just saw libra sun x cancer moon they would think of them as softer rather than louder and self assured! I love astrology! The ascendant really is that girl, iconic.

butterfly motif 🦋& vedic astrology

ive wanted to exclusively dedicate a post towards the use of the butterfly motif in pop culture, so here it is!! i think butterflies have had a re-emergence in fashion in the last few years and im here for it!!

🦋 as i've mentioned in many other posts, the nakshatras closely tied to using this motif repeatedly are the pisces rashi nakshatras of ubp and revati along with punarvasu nakshatra.

Venus exalts in Pisces and ive noticed that these natives are often drawn to Venusian aesthetics and imagery.

my own take is that, since pisces is the final rashi and the point of "absolution" it represents the end of chrysalis, when all elements have come together to create transformation; in pisces there is nothing left to do, but seek liberation from these cycles (its purpose is moksha,after all) and dissolve entirely into the cosmic ocean.

a butterfly is a beautiful symbol, representing not only the death of the creature that inhabited the cocoon but also reminding us that that death is necessary because only then can something as beautiful as a butterfly emerge from within that womb. the womb is the source of creation but you're not meant to stay there forever, that's not just stagnancy, that's death. birth is a painful process because you're leaving behind the only place you've ever known but you have no other option so you must be brave enough to face it.

Sadly Ryan said Chris agreed to the cameo didn’t ask any questions about what the scene was and it “could’ve” been the most explicit sex scene but he wouldn’t have known before agreeing. A reviewer who saw the movie said it was a similar type of humor to Deadpool but much cleaner/ for the family so I don’t think we are gonna get anything sexy but let’s imagine that’s why he was in such tip top shape for his jump in the pool.
