He loves to make you wait.
The anticipation and not knowing what is going to happen next, to not know what he has planned for you, has always given you the thrill and excitement for what is to come. Even if you are here, naked and alone, your body is already reacting intensely with the wait.
You are sitting on your knees at the center of his king-sized bed, palms resting on your bare thighs, listening to the water running inside the bathroom as he is taking his sweet time under the hot shower.
Your skin has grown sensitive that every brush of the breeze coming from the air conditioner sends your body shuddering even without him touching you yet. Your breasts are bare, your hardened nipples pointing forward and pinching themselves against the cold. But you could feel your body slowly heating up when you hear him finishing up, knowing that it is almost time for him to be here.
Hot enough to send every surge of heat all the way south.
You may have your legs folded and pressed together, but you could still feel it, the moisture leaking from the slick folds as the pace of your heartbeat increases with every second that passes by.
The sound of the running water stops and your heartbeat picks up. Focusing solely on controlling your breath, you keep your head down as you wait for him to enter the bedroom.
Minutes pass by before the bathroom door opens and the soft thuds of his footsteps on the carpeted floor is heard. You hold your gaze down, even as he speaks so gently to you while he admires the sight you are presenting to him.
“My, my—what a nice gift, kitten,” he says, humming with his deep, raspy voice. “Look up to me.”
You raise your head at his command and watch him as he walks over from across the room, taking long, confident strides as if he is a predator stalking on his prey. Each footstep sends your heartbeat pounding harder against your chest. While each beat of your heart sends pulsing heat all the way down to your center, adding more moisture right at your folds. As you move your legs rubbing against each other to seize the burning need, his grin widens.
“Have you been waiting long, kitten?”
“Yes, Sir,” you answer him with your voice almost breaking and your throat dry. The air has been thick with tension and watching his whole body in this perfect view is really not helping your case at all.
His bare chest is on display, still misty from the shower while his towel is hanging low on his hips, barely covering the tent pointing up from underneath, his shaft already hard and ready for you. He reaches out to you as he stops at the foot of the bed, tucking your hair gently to the back of your earlobes while he runs his gaze down your body.
“You are so beautiful,” he whispers, before giving his hand for you to take. “Come closer.”
Taking his hand, you let him help you rise from your position before you begin crawling closer. Reaching the edge of the bed, you sit back to wait for the next command. You keep your eyes on his face, holding back the urge to kiss his lips senseless the way you really want it to.
“Kneel. Keep your hands on your back,” he commands you. He must have noticed your fingers twitching, almost reaching out to tug the towel hanging on his hips from its bind until it falls down to the floor. But you follow his word instead. Reaching to your back, you entwine your fingers together to give yourself the restraint which he wants you to have.
“Open that beautiful mouth of yours.”
Without wasting any more time, you open your mouth for him. You let your jaw relax a little and slowly begin to control your breath through your nose. You already know what is about to happen, so you brace yourself, pushing down the eagerness to please him a little to savour the moment.
His eyes are dark as he rakes down the sight of you, all bare and ready for him, submitting to his words. With your mouth ajar and your hands bound on your back, you are almost helpless and completely under his control. As he stands right at the foot of the bed with his legs slightly spread out, he gently peels the fluffy towel around his hips, setting his hard-on free.
His cock jumps up and twitches once it is released, as if it is overjoyed from seeing you there. Its massive length is hard, veins popping out of its girth all the way from the base to the swollen head. Drops of pre-cum begin to leak at the tip, and you run your tongue along your lips, wishing that you could have a taste.
His palm rests at the center of his shaft, stroking himself gently as he slowly guides the head of his cock onto your lips.
“Are you willing to do as I say, kitten?” he asks you, gently, while slapping the hard mushroom tip on your bottom lip.
“Yes, sir,” you whisper to him, and his smile grows wide.
“Good. Then take my cock inside that pretty little mouth of yours until you can feel me inside your throat,” he whispers as he slides his cock inside your mouth. “That’s it. That’s a good girl.”
You wish you could reach out to him and grab him as he pushes in deeper, yet you hold yourself back and clutch your hands together even tighter on your back, unwilling to defy him or do anything without his permission. Then he buries his fingers in your hair, holding you in place with a soft grip on the strands before he begins to control the pace.
“How deep can you take me, my little pet?” His husky voice rumbles deep as you are trying to fit as much of him as you could into your mouth. He rolls his hips a few times, pushing deep until you give out a choking sound before pulling back, repeating the movement until you are used to his size and he could reach deeper each time he returns.
You let out a deep moan around his cock, giving it another suck before pulling back, releasing his cock from your lips with a pop to catch your breath. A tiny drop of pre-cum manages to appear on his tip once again, and you quickly lean forward to lick it off.
“I can take as much as you want me to,” you answer him breathlessly, and pride comes over you when he seems pleased to hear your promise.
“Then take it all, kitten. Take everything,” he says, sliding his cock back into your hot mouth and you take him in with hunger, sucking and licking along the length as he pushes, thrusts, until he is at the deepest.
To each time his swollen tip hits the back of your throat, your body jolts and twitches. Heat comes running down your body and you can feel your arousal pooling even more intensely between your legs, slowly soaking up your thighs as it drips out of your folds. Then he picks up his pace, all while the grip on your hair tightens. He shoves his cock down your throat deeper, faster, making you struggle to take it all. You moan deeply around his thick shaft as he continues fucking your throat roughly. His hips bucking forward with force and his head falling back to the pleasure rushing through him.
Your own body starts to react as you are burning with need. Your core is pulsing, begging to be filled as you feel the rush of his climax coming closer at the same time.
As you feel his body growing tense, you move your head, bobbing up and down to help him reach his orgasm so he could feed you with his seed. The pleasure earns deep grunts coming from him, curses coming out under his breath until he pulls a handful of your hair and forces you to release him.
“Fuck, kitten. Your mouth always makes me feel so good,” he whispers breathlessly, his eyes are filled with pride as he compliments you. Running his fingers gently to brush your hair away from your sweaty face, he gives you a moment to catch your breath, letting you bask in the joy of receiving his praises. He gently tips your chin up, looking you straight in the eyes as he says, “As much as I enjoyed fucking your throat, I want to feel your hot pussy and make you come around me before I let you take every drop of my seed.”
With that, your pussy pulses harder. “Please, Sir.”
“What is it that you want, kitten?”
Licking your swollen lips to savour the remnants of his taste, you press your legs together and beg him, “Please fuck me.”
You hear him chuckling softly, his smile taking over his face and his eyes glow under the light, filled completely with admiration and lust. Stroking himself gently, Kiseok leans down to take your lips, kissing you with fervour as if he is giving you the first part of his reward.
Pulling back, he gives you his other hand to take. He helps you to move by pulling you up, holding you strongly from falling on your trembling knees as you begin to crawl backwards. He climbs onto the bed while you lie down on your back, your legs spread apart for him.
His eyes move down between your legs, watching closely at your slick folds while your pussy clenches and pulses. With one hand still stroking up and down his length, he uses the other to push your knees apart, positioning himself at the center.
He takes a tight hold of his cock and brings it to your folds, rubbing its head up and down your soaked slit. You have grown sensitive and needy, your clit had already grown engorged and swollen with every pulse it keeps making that you could almost swear that you could erupt into an instant orgasm right then and there, right when you feel his cock nudging against your rosebud.
You know that he could see it, and feel it when your body jolts upward, your legs shuddering around him with every rub of his cock against your hot slit. With a deep chuckle, he slaps his cock against your pulsing clit, sending you yelping and gasping at the touch. Using your moisture and his arousal, he leads the tip into your opening, rubbing the hard tip in circular motions before pressing gently, pushing his way in while his hands move to hold your legs apart.
“You want this cock, don’t you?” he asks you gently while pushing forward, his cock stretching out your hot entrance slowly, and he circles his hips just a tease.
You nod your head to answer him, before you remember to use your voice and your words to let him know that you are present. “Yes, I want your cock.”
With your answer comes his grin, then he slams inside you, hard, earning your strained scream. “Oh, God!”
He begins to thrust hard and fast, not giving you time to relax around him and sending your body humming with desire, your pussy walls spasming around him. It takes only a few more hard thrusts before your body finally gives in, your arousal flooding around his girth to help him slide back and forth into your hot cavern with more ease.
“You like it when I fuck you hard, don’t you?” he asks you with a chuckle as he begins pounding into you, hard and fast, earning series of whimpers and cries coming out of your lips.
“Yes, oh God. Yes, please fuck me harder!” you beg him. With your knees folded up, you push your hips to meet his thrust, helping him to reach deeper with your toes curling and your fingers buried deep into the sheets.
As the thick head of his cock sinks all the way into your depths, moving in and out of you in a frantic pace, you reach up to hold your breasts. You begin to fondle yourself, playing with your own hard nipples, pinching and pulling your nubs until your body twitches with the sensory overload rushing through you.
He growls deep and stops thrusting, slapping your hands away with a scowl. “Did I tell you to touch yourself?” he grunts, keeping a lock hold on your wrists to stop you from moving back in to touch yourself. He bends his head down, sucking one nipple into his mouth then giving you a bite, hard, until you scream out with both pain and pleasure when the sensation sends your pussy clenching hard around him.
“You seem to be enjoying your punishment a little bit too much,” he groans against your pulsing nipple, lapping it with his tongue before moving to the next. “What a little slut,” he chastises you softly, slapping at the nipple that he had just bitten before taking the other into his mouth, biting it harder than the other until you cry out.
He comes back into thrusting his cock deep inside you until the moment you are close to plunge right into your climax, only to have him pulling away, releasing your throbbing nub from his lips with a few more laps on your skin and pulling out his cock from your heat.
“Turn around,” he commands you. You quickly comply, flipping onto your hands and knees and burying your head against the pillow. Your hips are arched off the bed, just the way he likes it, and you thrust your ass in the air to invite him back inside you.
He gives you a smack on one side of your bottom cheek before giving it harder on the other, earning a few soft yelps coming out of your lips when he repeats each one a few more times until your butt grows tender with a shade of crimson marring the skin. Yet, to each pain he gives you, your core gives out a pulse, and your arousal comes back out dripping down your thighs to let him know how good the pain is making you feel.
“You naughty slut. My dirty, sexy kitten likes it when I smack these pretty ass, doesn’t she?” he growls, playing it off as his displease even though he begins rubbing his palms gently right at your tender skin, pressing and kneading until your arousal comes out leaking even harder, your pussy clenching tight to the loss of his cock.
You respond to him by wiggling your ass, telling him just how much you need him back inside you while sucking a deep breath, bracing yourself for whatever he is about to give you next.
He wraps his arm around your waist, pulling you roughly back against his chest as he thrusts his cock back into your pussy. He begins to pump in and out, pounding into your cunt so hard that the bed begins shaking beneath you, its posts hitting frantically against the wall in the same intense rhythm as his cock as he rams into you. His other hand moves forward, playing and grabbing your swaying breasts, pinching at your nub so hard until you let out another cry between the delightful moans you have been making for the intense pleasure he is giving you. He keeps fucking you with force, continuously moving in and out with rapid thrusts, until he could feel you both heading towards the edge.
Just as you feel like you are tipping over the peak of your arriving climax, his hand finds your clit, touching your engorged rosebud gently at first, before he gives your clit a hard pinch. With a primal scream, your body shakes and quakes in his arm with the most intense climax that he had ever given you.
Your orgasm comes to you in a few intense waves, rushing and surging from deep within your core and spreading all over you like live wire. But there is no sign for Kiseok to stop, as he keeps holding you tight against him and he keeps pounding into you, sending you plunging into another set of climax when you have barely gotten over the previous one.
You feel his hips slapping repeatedly against your bottom, his deep grunts coming out with a few whispers of his curses, and he keeps on pummelling his cock between your pulsing walls, prolonging your orgasm until it feels almost impossible for you to take it anymore, and only then does he finally slow down, giving you some reprieve from the overwhelming pleasure rushing through you.
As you continue to shiver in his arms, basking in the intense spasms of your climax that seem never-ending, the walls of your pussy clenching and tightening around his cock, milking him until you feel him tensing against your back.
Instead of letting himself go and filling your pussy with his cum, he jerks his hips a few more times and pulls out roughly. “I’m coming, kitten. Take me in your mouth,” he commands you as you drop down on the bed.
Your hands and legs are shaking when you push yourself up on the bed, but you manage to flip back and crawl closer to be in front of him.
He grips his cock tightly, moving his hand up and down as you get up on your knees in front of him, your mouth is open and ready for him. Just as his shaft begins to twitch and his hips tense under each stroke he gives himself, he brings the head of his cock back on your parted lips. You let your lips engulf him at his tip as he pushes deeper, thrusting deep in your throat as he continues to chase for climax. And soon, he is shooting his release down your throat with a few deep guttural groans.
And you take everything.
Taking every single drop of his seed, as promised, you lap and suck while your throat works hard to swallow everything. The tangy taste of your release mixing with his cum tastes delightful as you clean off every drop of his thick cum.
His grunts become deeper as he releases the final drops of his seed into your mouth. You could feel his cock growing softer against your tongue, and he slowly pulls out of your lips, leaving a few drops of his cum falling down your chin.
With a deep exhale of breath, he opens his eyes to look down on your face. He is still basking on his own climax when you touch your chin, wiping the cum off of your face with your finger before you bring everything into your mouth. You keep your eyes on him as you lick down on your digits until they are clean, giving you a chance to see it when his gaze darkens and his body—still twitching slightly with the last few rushes of his climax—becomes hard and tense, and his cock twitches as a sign that it is coming back alive.
With one swift move, he pushes you back into the bed until you are lying beneath him. He hovers on top of you, holding your waist with one hand while he takes a handful of your hair with the other, bringing your face to him so he could take your lips into a searing kiss.
His kisses and touches are filled with hunger. Within moments, you feel the heat inside you building up, the exhaustion is quickly replaced with a newfound desire. Your core is still sore, and your bottom cheeks feel as if they are burning as your body is rubbing against the sheets. But there is something brewing inside you that is begging to be filled.
As if he could tell how your body is reacting to him, Kiseok reaches down between your legs, finding your throbbing pussy once again and begins to rub gently up and down your slit, gathering your arousal with his fingers.
“What do we have here?” he softly hums against your lips just as the tip of his fingers find your opening. “Are you ready to have more, kitten?”
Nodding your head slowly, you suck a deep breath and force your voice to come out, “Yes, Sir. Please. I want your cock inside me.”
He bends down, swirling his tongue around your hard nipples, taking in one at a time while he keeps on rubbing at your opening, gathering more moisture before he pushes himself up. Your eyes trail down on the lower part of his body, finding his cock already growing hard and ready to impale its length inside you.
“Good. Because I’m not done with you yet,” he groans, taking his cock into his palm where he gives himself a few gentle strokes. “Now be a good girl and pull your knees up to your chest and keep them there.”
You quickly comply to him, taking your shaking legs up, pressing your folded knees against your chest with your hands holding them up, locking them in place as he positions himself at your opening. The tip of his cock immediately finds its place, and he wastes no time before he pushes forward, easily spreading your entrance wide apart for him to enter.
“Don’t cum until I say you could,” he threatens you with a grunt. Then he slams right back in, immediately beginning to pound into your cunt relentlessly and without mercy, sending your still sensitive pussy walls clenching hard around his girth with the threat of your orgasm rising too soon.
As waves and waves of electric pleasure come building up inside you, you soon realise that the night is far from over. You know that you would have to face even more punishments before you could finally earn his glorious rewards. And he knows that he is winning the game the moment the head of his cock pushes against your sweet spot, hitting it repeatedly until you scream out with the mixture of pain and pleasure.

The 36 year old bachelor | Simon Dominic x Reader
Prompt: Jay is done with Simon complaining about being single, that’s why he decides to introduce him to his celebrity crush.
Warnings: fluff
A/N: I read almost every single SD Imagine, so I decided to write my own
Song to listen to while reading:
Tumblr media
Jay cares for Kiseok. He truly does. They’ve known each other for so many years- Jay absolutely couldn’t imagine his life without him. But sometimes... he disliked his friend with everything he got.
“It’s like as if my relationship status is more essential than my work as an artist.”, Kiseok exclaims. Whenever he got frustrated, his Busan accent became more notable - and right now it was more prominent than ever before.
It was an accessory sentence.
“ “As one of the most crucial and thriving rappers of Korea, his heart is owned by to none other than the music.” ”, Kiseok reads out loud:” “It seems like, there is no room in his life for love, but-.” First of all, who says I don’t have time for a girlfriend?-.”.
“You do?”,Jay asks, and wrinkles his forehead:” You declare that in nearly every single interview.”.
Without paying interest to his friend's statement, Kiseok proceeds to rant:” Second of all, it isn’t my fault that I’m single- I just haven’t met the right woman yet.”.
Jay massages the bridge of his nose:” That’s because your standards are not only high but whenever somebody asks you about them you say - “look at Y/N, then you know what I want.”.
At the sound of her name leaving his lips, Kiseok turns his head around to face his friend. He stares at him for a few seconds, before he tosses the magazine into the bin next to the couch in Jay's office, before he storms out.
A few seconds later, Gray enters the room, his eyes are wide open:” What’s wrong with him?”. Jay simply makes a hand gesture, before standing up from his spot behind the desk:” He is constantly complaining about being single- but when he has the chance to date, I mean the line is long-“.
Gray nods. “He doesn’t make a move, I promise you- even if the perfect woman would stand in front of him. He would still not make a move.”.
“We need to get that man out of his shell.”,Gray says while sitting down on the couch. He looks at his friend. “And I feel like, I already know who to call.”.
Y/N debuted three years ago with a girl group under SM Entertainment. As the lead rapper, and oldest of the group she quickly had a specific reputation. She was admired by many, but she also had a few more haters than the rest of the girls due to her confidence and taste in fashion.
“Wait- I’m supposed to do what exactly?”, the young woman asks and her eyes widen. She sits on the opposite side of Jay’s desk and stares at him in confusion.
Jay and Y/N had met two years ago, backstage at an award show, and became friends nearly immediately. She told him, no matter what- she would always answer his calls. And she kept her promise.
“You’re like his ideal type.”,Jay explains:” I want to wake him up, from whatever bizarre trance he’s stuck in. Also, Y/N... Sources told me that you find Kiseok quite attractive as well.”.
“Oh shut up.”,Y/N mumbles softly while her cheek turns red. Jay let out a high pitch laugh, while his friend runs a hand through her hair.
“Okay, so we will go into the main area of this building-.”, he turns on his phone to check the time:” Right now, he’s probably eating with Loco and Gray.“. As they wander through the hallways he proceeds to clarify his plan:” Act like this-.”, he makes a hand gesture pointing from him to her:” is natural and no staged at all. Okay.”.
Y/N chuckles:” Sure.”.
“And that is why I truly believe-.”, Kiseok who takes a sip of his water stop talking and starts coughing. Gray and Loco both stare at their friend in surprise while Hyukwoo is the first one to react. He turns around and when his eyes land on Jay and Y/N he softly slaps Grays shoulder:” Would you look at that.”.
“Is that-?.”
“Y/N.”,Kiseok finishes his sentence before he takes another sip of his water: “This-.“.
He watches how Jay points at him as if he notices him for the first time and makes his way over to their table. Closely followed by the young musician.
„Hey.“.he says and smiles at Kiseok: “I wanted to introduce you to my good friend Y/N.”. She smiles and bows at him. He feels how his throat becomes dry, as he smiles back. He holds out his hand:” I’m Kiseok.”. “It’s nice to meet you, I am Y/N.”.
Later that evening, Kiseok drove to the small traditional restaurant Jay made a reservation at. He closes the door and thanks the Uber driver before he steps into the small building. When he can’t hear his friends, he furrows his forehead but continues to make his way towards the back room.
As soon as he walks through the door a sigh escapes his lips when he notices that only Y/N is sitting at the table.
“They’re not showing up, are they?”, he asks, making the young woman look up from her phone. She smiles softly but shakes her head. He nods and sits down in front of her.
“Can I be honest with you?”, she asks and Kiseok, who lays his jacket to the side nods. “I’m just here because Jay wants to prove some ridiculous point of his.”. Simon Dominic looks at her in confusion. “He said, that you’re often complaining about being single- but even if somebody like me, who is supposedly your ideal type comes along, you would still think twice. Because at the end of the day, you’re the one standing in your own way.”.
Kiseok stares at her, he opens his mouth slightly, but when no words leave his lips he closes it again. “If you want to take off, I get that. I truly do.”, she once again smiles at him, and grabs the menu card. After a few minutes, she puts it down again and when she sees that the rapper is still sitting in front of her she chuckles:” You’re not leaving?”.
“Why would I? A beautiful woman is sitting right in front of me. I would be a fool if I didn’t take that chance”.
Y/N’s eyes widen. “Don’t tell Jay, but he is right. I guess I’m just frightened. You see, I’m almost 37- the media characterizes me as some old bachelor. I don’t wish for that. I’m nothing like that. I’m simply terrible at dealing with rejection, so before anyone could do that- I’m dismissing every woman that comes my way. And well, there is another aspect, that he has right- you are my ideal type. So, I feel like I’m winning tonight.”.
Y/N chuckles. “But I’m serious, don’t tell Jay. He will never let me live that down.”.

The Worst (Simon D x Reader)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
You knew that technically you and Kiseok weren’t a couple. You were one another’s non-secretive secrets; or in simpler terms, everyone in AOMG knew you were sleeping together, but weren’t actually together. And for a while, it worked for you – you had a busy career that made it hard to give your partner the time and attention they deserved. But there had come a moment where you had started to catch yourself looking at Kiseok in a different light…a loving one.
But it wasn’t reciprocated – or more so, Kiseok just didn’t bother to really acknowledge what was obvious to him. He was rather good at burying his head in the sand at moments like this. Just thinking about what label you would put on yours and Kiseok’s relationship, gave you a headache.
You’d met Kiseok through Ju-kyung. You were into underground rapping and by chance had met Duck years ago at one of the scenes and had been good friends ever since. He was the one who had encouraged you to get your degree in music, specializing in composing.
You’d moved up in the world since then and had seen some of your best work become real songs sung to sold-out stadiums through a variety of artists. Kiseok wasn’t one of those artists.
He was always determined to write his own lyrics and musical sheets which was something you had admired – loved, even. Hell, there were a lot of things you loved about Kiseok.
The way he said your name in his deep tone, accompanied by his Busan accent; the way he was surprisingly soft when it came to his parents; his determination and talent. Yes. There were a lot of things to love about Kiseok.
But as you watched from the V.I.P section of the club as Kiseok made out with another girl – a junior of yours, no less – you really couldn’t find anything admirable about Jung Kiseok in that moment.
But what could you do?
You weren’t a couple.
You were just friends with benefits – despite the fact that you wanted more; despite the fact that Kiseok knew you wanted more .
‘Aish,’ you scowl before tossing back another shot whilst Ju-kyung threw his arm over your shoulder and pulled you back into the moment having also witnessed the scene.
‘You good?’
You gave him a small smile and nodded, pushing away the hurt, ‘I’m good.’
Sunghwa took the empty space beside you, sandwiching you between the two men and blocking your view, ‘Yah, yah, yah. Let’s just drink huh?’
You laughed slightly, embarrassed at their efforts, ‘You guys don’t have to go this far…I’m fine…really.’
The two did their best to keep you entertained, both of the men with their arms around you as if holding you together while you did your best to engage with the remainder of the group; still, you couldn’t help but send a text to Kiseok, forcing yourself to hold back and delete your original message before you caused a scene in the club.
Tumblr media
Fueled by anger at his response, your shots became double as you drank into the night with the encouragement of Sunghwa and Ju-kyung.
Tumblr media
It was almost four in the morning by time you had gotten back to your apartment – you stumbled into the house only to be followed by Kiseok who had drunken just as much as you had. Despite the alcohol, you still hadn’t forgotten his actions and the fact that he’d gone off with another girl, and because of the liquid courage, you had the guts to actually confront him on it as you took off your shoes, ‘Don’t you have somewhere better to be?’
Kiseok was in the middle of removing his boots as you said it, groaning as he sat back, ‘Yah, drop it already!’
‘—I don’t want too,’ you mumble as you move toward the kitchen and pour yourself a glass of water.
You couldn’t let it drop – not the fact that he had ignored your feelings for him, nor the fact that he was willing to throw it back in your face by kissing one of the junior composers who’d just joined your team. You were tired of it all.
‘Why’d you even follow me home Kiseok?’ you ask him tiredly, ‘What are we even doing?’
‘Are you seriously starting this up again?’ he asks with a huff as he grabbed his own glass and turned on the tap while you watched him with crossed arms.
‘Again?’ you say incredulous, ‘Yah, since when have we ever had this conversation huh? You always run away when it gets too serious!’
Kiseok rolled his eyes as he left the kitchen and walked through the apartment, unbuttoning his shirt as he went – he had become so accustomed to your place that he knew it almost better than yourself. You followed him as he removed the shirt and laid it out nicely on the chair in your room, ‘What are you doing Kiseok, I’m talking to you,’ you say with annoyance.
‘Look, Y/N. I told you before we started this – I’m not ready for a relationship, and that still stands to this day. And newsflash, Y/N, our relationship isn’t exactly about talking, now is it?’
You knew he was saying it because he had drunken enough to do so, but even so, it still hurt. As tears welled in your eyes, you tell him shakily, ‘Just get out Kiseok. Even if you don’t see me as more than what we are now, the least you could do is respect me.’
Your words must have sobered Kiseok up as you threw him his shirt, ‘Y/N…’
‘Just go Kiseok…I’m tired of this. I don’t want this anymore.’
His eyes flashed with an emotion you couldn’t quite decipher as he asked half angrily and half surprised, ‘Are you saying you don’t want to do this,’ he waved his hand between the two of you and your neatly made bed, ‘anymore, or argue right now?’
‘Both,’ you tell him honestly, your shoulders sagging as you sat on the edge of your bed now with the realization that loving him as you were, just wasn’t going to work anymore.
Kiseok swore under his breath, a hand running through his hair with agitation. Huffing with annoyance, he paced for a moment or two before asking you once more, ‘Are you being serious right now?’
You’d had a fight similar to this last month, but you’d given in to him and done the same thing you’d always done – but this time was different, and Kiseok didn’t know how to handle it other than to scoff and mutter, ‘Whatever. You’ll cave eventually, Y/N, you always do,’
As the front door closed shut, you murmured to the empty apartment, ‘I hope not…’
Tumblr media
Ju-kyung sat leisurely on the couch of Kiseok’s studio while scrolling through his Instagram, waiting for him to wrap up so that they could follow their scouting schedule. The men of the label had been taking turns in watching over him for the last few weeks out of worry for him – he could deny it all he wanted, but the moment Kiseok was blocked from all your social media pages and he realized you were really done with him, he’d become increasingly agitated and angry.
Even with Dark Room having been released for two weeks, the strange break-up of something that wasn’t originally together, had Kiseok writing non-stop, practically preparing himself for another album release.
‘I don’t get it 형,’ Duck draws, ‘I thought you liked Y/N.’
‘I do like her.’
‘So why won’t you date her?’ Duck further questions, looking up from his phone to Kiseok who was hunched over his desk, his hand going crazy as he scribbled out lyrics. From what Ju-kyung had seen earlier, it mentioned all sorts of metaphors that described you.
A sun so bright, can’t love a void like me,
But the truth came out through naked curiosity.
‘I…’ Kiseok began.
Why didn’t he date you? Why was he so afraid? Had his previous girlfriends fucked him up that much that he was scared to go through it again? Was he scared that having something so good would come unraveling as soon as he got too greedy?
He couldn’t answer; instead he shrugged his shoulders with a heavy sigh while Ju-kyung rolled his own eyes and went back to scrolling through Instagram. It was there that he saw your latest story post on your private page – the video caused him to gasp out loud.
You were dressed completely opposite to your normal get-up; your face was fully done, your hair was put up in a do that made you look…Ju-kyung hated to say it, but you looked sexy. Even the low-cut jumpsuit you wore had Ju-kyung curse out loud as you mouthed the lyrics to the song playing in the background of whatever club you were in. Even more reason for him to curse was the man who was dancing behind you, his chin on your shoulder, staring directly at the camera as you both grinned, ‘Oh shit!’
The last time Ju-kyung had seen you dressed like that, you were at your cousin’s wedding and trying to upstage her out of pettiness. He couldn’t help but play the video over and over, each time letting out a curse.
‘Yah, Ju-kyung, you’re being too loud, turn it down,’ Kiseok scolded, ‘I’m nearly done, so just make sure you know the rappers Jay wants us to find are still performing at Club 88 tonight.’
Fumbling to turn down the sound, Ju-kyung nodded with wide eyes, looking between his phone screen and Kiseok, and then back down to the video where the clear sign from behind you in the club read ‘88’.
Well. This ought to be good.
Tumblr media
Taking a break from the dancing, you sat at the table talking happily over the music – your childhood friend, Sun-kyu sat across from you with his permanent smile etched on his face.
‘I’m so sad that you’re leaving so soon!’ you tell him with a pout. He’d been crashing with you for the last two days and was due to fly down to Jeju tomorrow to visit his parents for their anniversary. You’d been grateful for his company – if it wasn’t for him staying at your place, you probably would have caved and called Kiseok by now.
Your mind had given you every reason not to call, but your heart…well…You couldn’t help but be attracted to the guy despite him being a bit of an ass sometimes.
Okay. Maybe a giant ass.
‘You’ll just have to visit me in the States,’ Kyu tells you with a grin, before looking around the club, ‘Didn’t you say that some U.G. rappers were going to be playing here?’
You nodded – after the breakup you’d thrown yourself into doing more work to keep your mind occupied, only slowing down when you’d heard that new artists were going to be performing. None of the names were familiar to you, but you wanted to check it out anyway. You never knew what talent you’d run into; you informed Kyu by shouting over the music, ‘Club 88 is one of the few places that lets U.G. artists play without restriction. That’s why you never know what you’re going to get here. Bar fights, horny crowds, it’s always a surprise and it’s rarely the same.’
As soon as you heard one of your favourite tracks come on, you threw back your drink and took Kyu’s hand, leading him to the corner of the dance floor not too far from your table, ‘Yah! Dance with me!’
He obliged, though you should have known that being a pro dancer meant he would go way harder than you could ever have hoped to keep up with. Forced together due to the crowd, you danced in sync to the dance-hall playing throughout the club with Kyu’s hands on your hips for balance.
You were enjoying the moment when you suddenly felt Kyu being shoved away, nearly taking you with him if it weren’t for the arm that was wrapped around your waist.
You looked at Kyu in surprise as he picked himself up off the floor, still surprised at someone pushing at him. After doing a quick check that he was okay, you began to struggle against the hold the person had on you. Instinctively, your fists clenched as you turned, and your arms swung in the direction of whoever had a hold of you, ‘What the fuc—Kiseok?!’
‘What the fuck are you doing here, Y/N?’ Kiseok growls, ignoring Kyu who Ju-kyung had appeared out of nowhere to help.
‘What are you doing?’ you yell at him, attempting to pull away, only for him to hold you tighter, ‘Yah! Let me go!’
Kiseok refused, glaring down at you with cold eyes, his mouth turned into a frown. He was so handsome, but that didn’t matter right now. Right now, all you wanted to do was hit him.
‘Let me go!’
‘형,’ Ju-kyung says as he grabs at Kiseok’s arm gently, urging him to take it somewhere private, ‘형, come on, people are watching.’
Without a second’s notice, Kiseok turned and pulled you back up to the VIP section, bypassing your table all together as he dragged you through the crowds.
‘Kiseok!’
‘Yah!’
‘Jung Kiseok!’
He ignored you completely as you yelled his name until you finally snapped, ‘Yah, Simon! What do you think you’re doing?’
Pushing you into the private room that over-looked the dance floor through tinted glass, Kiseok said nothing as you stumbled in.
Before you could even speak, Kiseok had pushed you against the wall, his mouth instantly seeking yours as he kissed you with every ounce of anger and love he had in him.
You were out with another man? While he sat in a studio writing fucking love songs about missing you?
For a moment, you let him kiss you; you enjoyed the way his hands cupped your cheeks and the soft and familiar feeling of him took over. But it quickly shattered as you realized what was going on.
Pushing at his chest, you managed to shove him away now that he had his guard down, ‘What the hell is going on Kiseok!’
His chest heaving, he glared at you and asked with that thick accent you loved so much, ‘I could ask you the same thing, who the fuck is that guy?’
‘He’s a friend!’ you throw at him, ‘and it doesn’t matter who he is, why would you shove him like that?’
‘A friend?’ Kiseok scoffs, ‘Friends don’t grind on each other, Y/N!’
‘Well we were friends and we did much more than grind,’ you bite back at him spitefully.
Kiseok turned away from you and let out a laugh. Not the happy kind – the kind you do when you hear something you can’t quite believe. You let out a squeak as his hand swiped at the glass tumblers sitting on the table near the booth, smashing them against the wall and floor.
‘So, what?’ he asks quietly after a moment, still facing away from you as he lifted his hands to run them through his hair, ‘Are you sleeping with him? Did all your ‘emotions’ for me suddenly just drop once you found another guy?’
‘Are you seriously asking me that Kiseok?’ you ask angrily, ‘I’m not like you. I don’t divert any emotion I have for someone, onto the next best thing!’
‘Then why the hell did you let him touch you like that?’ Kiseok seethes, turning to look at you, this time with tears in his eyes. You faltered in surprise, but before you could say anything, Kiseok continued, ‘Why haven’t you called me? Why am I the only one who’s locked up in a room filled with regrets?’
Kiseok sat on the edge of the couch, his elbows on his thighs as he rubbed at his face and the tears that threatened to fall, ‘Why do I feel like you’ve already left me before I had even let you in?’
You remained where you stood no matter how much you wanted to hold and comfort him. Your chest was filled with a range of emotions, and you knew that if you didn’t get it out of the way now, you’d regret it forever. So, you did the next best thing .
You let it out.
‘Yah, 개새끼, are you seriously going to sit there and feel sorry for yourself? I told you three weeks ago that I had feelings for you and you rejected me! Now you suddenly want to act like this?’
Your reaction surprised Kiseok as he looked up to see you glaring at him, ‘You just assaulted my friend, who by the way, is just a friend, and dragged me through a club in front of a lot of people, to act like this?’
‘I…’
‘You what?’ you ask, ‘You thought that I wanted to be rag-dolled?’
‘No, I just got angr—,’
‘Why do you get to be angry, Kiseok? I’m the one who should be angry! We were sleeping together for ten months! I’ve seen you make out with numerous girls! But the second I dance with someone, you appear out of nowhere and hit him? You act like a juvenile? You’re thirty-four years old! Grow up!’
Kiseok blinked as you schooled him – the way you counted off the terrible things that he’d done that had hurt you, the way you jabbed your finger at him from across the room and the way you stood your ground, not daring to back down. Of all the times he’d seen you, both naked, clothed and doing something you were passionate about, he’d never seen you look as good as you did now.
You turned your back to Kiseok and looked down at the crowds who were now cheering for a rapper that had come on to the stage. You could see everything from up there, including Kyu who was sitting in the both with Ju-kyung, smiling once more. Bless him.
With your throat sore from the yelling, you said quietly, ‘This isn’t fair, Kiseok.’
‘I’m sorry…’
‘You can’t just swoop in and act like a boyfriend after all that’s happened. It’s not fair to me,’ you continued to look out the window as you mutter, ‘You’re not ready for a relationship and I don’t want to wait anymore…So please just leave me alone if you’re not serious about us. I don’t want to be given false hope. Just tell me straight whether you want this or not…’
You hadn’t heard him move from the couch, but as soon as his arms wrapped around your torso and his chin rested on your shoulder, he muttered tiredly, now able to answer the question Ju-kyung had asked earlier, ‘I’m not ready for a relationship because I’m the worst boyfriend you could have, Y/N. I forget dates, anniversaries and birthdays. I sometimes work more than I should. I disappear in to my studio for days on-end. I don’t make a lot of money, and I travel all the time. I can’t be a good man to you, Y/N.’
Leaning into his embrace, you refused to let your tears fall as you stared out over the crowd, asking him the ultimate question – the make or break of this relationship for real this time, ‘So what will you do?’
‘I’ll be the worst man you’ve ever known and stick to you like glue,’ he replies quietly, a hint of nervousness in his tone, ‘I’ll be the worst, most loving boyfriend you’ve ever had, because I really don’t think I can let you leave my side again, Y/N.’
Unwillingly, you let the tears slide down your cheeks as you nodded in acceptance, your hand slowly moving to cover his entwined ones resting on your stomach. Letting out the breath you’d been holding, you tell him with a sniff, ‘I’m okay with that…’

Warnings: Swearing, finger kink, pet names (slight), breath play, unprotected sex
Summary: Simon and that god damn smirk of his takes over. He owns you.
References: Jung Jin Chul by Simon Dominic
Word count: 370 words
Notes: The song choice might not be the best but I love the beat and the voice in this one. Fits perfectly, even though I know the words don’t really match up. Also, this is my first Simon fic so I’m feeling the pressure. As a heads up, I use Simon’s real name (KiSeok) in this fic.
- - -
The heat radiating between you is furious. Buckled and moulded to his will, exposing yourself ass up for him. Head buried in the pillow, muffling the whines that spill from your mouth with every pound against your ass.
The sounds made from the sheer force and your dripping arousal fill the air as he grips your hips tighter, bruising the skin ever so slightly in their mission to leave you with the faintest souvenir.
Kiseok adjusts the angle, legs either side of yours somehow reaching even deeper as an elbow rests beside you, hovering above your misted body. His hand wrapping over your shoulder, as though it’s a new handle to pull you down onto him.
His head rests beside yours as his other hand tugs your hair back, exposing your neck and your moans, no longer muffled by the pillow.
“Ahhhh... fuck,”
You mewl, catching your breath right next to his ear. Kiseok’s fingers find your lips, tracing them with the lightest touch before pushing not 1, but 3 into your mouth to suck. You willingly take them, teasingly working each digit, lathering a drool as you imagine his cock pressing heavy on your tongue. Your imagination and the onslaught of his actions teetering the pleasure within you.
“Ooh… you’re such a good girl for me. Do you like it?” He hisses in your ear pulling his fingers from your mouth with a pop. Drool covering them as he smears it across your lips, with you nodding in agreement still whimpering from Kiseok’s brutal pace.
He pulls your hair snapping your head back and you bend just the way he wants.
“I said, do you like it?” he practically growls it at you, a smirk spreading across his face when the exasperated reply from you breathes “Yes!”
Kiseok releases your hair and wraps his fingers around your throat. Each digit flexing, pressing ever so slightly and restricting the airflow leaving you garbling through your moans of pleasure. His lips on your ear, breathing heavily and matched to his rhythm while the familiar burning sensation fires through your body. Your walls begin to throb around his cock as he lowly groans in your ear,
“Good, then fucking cum for me.”

***************************************
A WEEK LATER
You filed into a conference room with a few other people, looking much older, more experienced and higher ranking. They were dressed formally too - crisply pressed suits, and accessorized with grey hair, scars and wrinkles. You on the other hand in a white cotton shirt and beige trousers looked like a complete new beansprout.
The gentlemen in the room also gave you curious looks, wondering who you were and what you were doing in a space no wolf of your age usually entered. You kept your eyes on the blank whiteboard in front of you, hoping for a quiet glimpse around at everyone’s faces, but to your dismay, you yourself were the centre of attention. Without disturbing your carefully set poker face, you looked up, and met each of their gazes and then looked back at the board. If they were taken aback by your bearing, no one revealed it. The door opened and in walked four congressmen, each of them with files of their own, followed by a formally suited, charming young wolf who seemed to be a secretary of sorts. The young wolf passed around some files to everyone seated, and introduced himself,
“Good evening, everyone. I’m Jimin, an alpha-ranked wolf from the Park clan. We’re gathered here today at the request of Congressman Jeon and Congressman Bang. Before we begin, can we have a round of introductions?” Everyone nodded, and started off.
“I’m Kang Minhyuk, retired Alpha of the Incheon Kang clan”, a guttural voiced man stated. “Yi Sunshin, Head of Pack Law, Gwangju Jung” a portly man said, followed by a woman “Rhee Jinguk, Lead Enforcer, Injoo Yang clan” , and a distinguished deep voiced man introducing himself as “Kim Hyunjin, Alderman, Gwacheon Kim clan”. All eyes turned to me as I calmly introduced myself, “ Song Y/N, Tracker, Gangwon Jeon clan”. Not so surprising to see raised eyebrows, you thought. If I were a distinguished senior wolf, I’d wonder what someone like me were doing here too.
“And I am Bang Sihyuk, and these are Jeon Subin, Han Kiseok and Jung Dowoon, from the Congress. We’ve invited you all concerning a set of disappearances that we wanted you to investigate.” The chubbiest of the congressmen stated.
Raised eyebrows and a few sharp inhales of breath could be heard across the room. “Three young children were taken from their homes over the past year.”
This was serious. What was Grandpa Jeon thinking? What were you, a greenhorn, doing here?
________________
You didn’t know how you made it past those last days in Jeju.
You had stayed behind at the request of Grandpa Jeon. Most of the clans’ visitors had left save for some high ranking clan elders - they usually took this opportunity to gather, hobnob or discuss things. Jungkook stayed behind too, since he and Grandpa Jeon would be traveling back to Busan together. The last couple of days in Jeju were pleasantly hectic - Jungkook’s wide variety of activities kept you both running around, and that perceptive boy made it a point to involve you as much as he could.
As you waited in the guesthouse cafeteria, the idle time allowed a stream of unwanted thoughts to come pouring back in.
Namjoon - his searing gaze on you... The mark on his neck… Somin hanging off his arm… his dismissal of you
Your solitude felt amplified by the fact that someone who should have been there was conspicuously absent. Your wolf mourned the loss, and wanted to rip Somin's throat out. Though solitude was all you knew, it never felt like loss magnified as it did now. And that was the truth of it.
You shook your head roughly, and forcibly shifted your attention outward - to your surroundings. Mulling over what was already done was a recipe for prolonging pain. Your eyes skimmed over the trees waving in the breeze, the earth damp after the rains, a couple of workers mowing the lawns, the barista brewing coffee near you. The soft padding of feet alerted you to Grandpa Jeon’s approach.
You stood to acknowledge him with a quiet smile, which he returned, settling in the armchair opposite yours. A waiter came forward and took your coffee orders. Your gaze went back to the elder’s face as you quietly considered each other.
Grandpa Jeon was a hefty, distinguished looking man - the strong brow, jaw and frame typical of the Jeons withstood his ageing and kept him going through out his distinguished career - from pack leader to clan head, to an alderman and eventually, a national congressman. His style was simple - he’d take the smartest possible route, and avoid chaos wherever he could. You could see the gears in his head turning as he regarded you as well.
“How are you doing, Y/N?”
“Good, Grandpa Jeon” you reply - a polite greeting kind of response, not the actual condition of your state.
He was quiet for a few moments, as the waiter returned with your coffee orders, and both of you sipped thoughtfully. Grandpa Jeon considered you quietly, and eventually broke the pregnant silence with, “How much do you know about true matings?”
He HAD to dive right in. Rub it in some more, why doesn’t he?
“A lot of my knowledge is informal. I know a little from a healer’s perspective, but my training is incomplete.” When Grandpa Jeon nodded, you continued, “They’re really rare, but as a pair, they tend to form an instantaneous attachment that often leads to claiming. The only thing that would prevent it would be if the individuals in question already claimed a partner. Any children borne from a true mated couple are healthier, stronger, higher ranked and longer lived in general.”
“Do you know how true mates interact?”
“When they’re in close proximity, they stay acutely aware of their partner’s state - mood, health, body language, anything. It’s been glorified as a near metaphysical link. That was how it felt for me as well.”
“That, for one, is true for a pair of true mates even if they do not consummate their mating”, Grandpa Jeon stated, causing you to pause. So regardless if Namjoon has Somin, and maybe I find someone in the future if I’m lucky, we’re going to have each other on our minds? Grandpa Jeon must have seen the look on your face, when he quickly added, “That happens only when you’re in close physical proximity”. Oh, thank Lupa.
“But what is a more pressing matter for you to consider, my dear, is the heat that follows”, he continued heavily. Your eyes widened. “B-But heats and ruts occur once a claiming is consummated into a mating, isn’t it? Why would it affect me, when I’m unattached?”
“For true mates, it goes a little differently. To begin with, what do you know about a heat or a rut?”
“They’re the most virile and fertile phases of each partner. While every wolf starts their cycles once puberty hits, the cycle itself becomes potent after claiming and mating. A claiming causes the cycles of both partners to sync up, and the odds of conceiving are the highest at this time.”
“That’s the textbook definition. In most mated pairs, the chosen mate kind, their heat/rut cycles are barely obvious to everyone else except to the strongest of noses. You’ll merely notice them acting extra temperamental and hormonal around each other and everyone else - not very different from a woman’s PMS, if you will.” You nodded, all of this being familiar to you.
Grandpa Jeon sighed and continued, “But for true mates, it is rather different. You’ve noticed how visceral your reaction to Namjoon is, and that’s how your interactions typically will be. Imagine how that heightens a heat between mates then!”
“What you need to understand is, for a pair of true mates, their heats and ruts will sync up whether they consummate it or not. It’s believed this is Lupa’s, or rather Nature’s way of ensuring, or rather forcing a consummation between the ideal couple.”
You sat in stunned silence, as the weight of what he said sank in.
“Proximity will have an impact, but usually, the unmated partner in the pair has it worst. Your heat is no longer a gentle hormonal upswing. It straight up causes you to fall ill, weakens your judgement and leaves you vulnerable to just about any sexual encounter.”
“There are medical ways to manage the intensity, but you will end up needing help. Namjoon has Somin to help him through. We need to figure out how to help YOU”
You leaned back into the armchair in silence, looking out of the cafeteria. Tears gathered at the back of your eyes that you tried to blink away. It was so, so unfair. You had already let go of someone meant for you, and now had to walk around your home being acutely aware of someone who wasn’t yours anymore, and would face the brunt of the consequences of the failed mating, putting you in acute danger.
“It’s going to be hard”, Grandpa Jeon spoke again after giving you a moment. “But let’s think of how we can make it better for you. How do you feel about traveling?”
You looked at him sharply, “Are you trying to get me to leave the clan? Am I that disposable?” “NO!” he countered, “I’m trying to find you a way out BECAUSE you matter. Y/N, you’re a highly skilled tracker, and training as a healer and medic as well. You’re adaptable and very intelligent. Very few people have this combination of abilities that you do. This is probably insensitive of me, but think of your orphaned state as license to be free, not perpetually tied down to a pack and people that will only cause you pain down the line. If Somin were your blood sibling, would you be able to cut off ties with your blood family to find peace? Or stay at Gangwon for their sake and endure the pain in silence?
Please, think about yourself.”
You hated how much sense he made. You hated how, in putting the family you owed everything to first, you were now facing consequences that hurt you more than you bargained for. You also hated how, being an orphan, taking you out of the equation was the most obvious option for everyone. But, it seemed to be the only road out.
You took a deep breath, and looked at the elder. “Will I still be considered a member of the clan, or is that going to change too?”
“You will always be a member of the clan, unless you initiate the change yourself at some point”
“So what would you have me do now?”
“You can use your talents differently. As a Congressman, I’m a part of my family, but no longer an active member of my clan, for I serve the nation itself. The Wolves' Congress values ability and advocates neutrality. Why don’t you head to Seoul to work for us?  Your skills can come of use anywhere nationwide, and you can take this time to think about how you want your future to go.”
__________
Grandpa Jeon had been as helpful as he had promised. Once you headed back to Gangwon, you packed up most of your possessions, and bid everyone goodbye. A lot of clan members were miffed that you weren’t staying for Somin and Namjoon’s mating ceremony. Grandpa Jeon’s assignment orders indicated an urgency no one could contest.
Namjoon luckily wasn’t there at Gangwon - he’d had to head back to his home clan to prepare for the transition he would eventually deal with point mating and a host of other official matters. Somin in her anger refused to speak to you when she heard you were leaving, except for a tearful goodbye towards the end, as you climbed into the jeep that had been provided for you. And just like that, in less than a week, your life had turned 180, and you were leaving the only home you had ever known, to an uncertain future.
__________
You stayed lost in thought as your jeep sped across the hilly countryside, forests making way for farmlands, and the occasional village dotting the landscape. Your stops were carefully planned, as there were plenty of human villages and towns you passed, and wolves weren't always well received. You needed to let your antsy wolf out to help her settle and get used to the rapid pace of change wooshing through. You were looking forward to the next stop when your driver, a middle aged wolf, turned to tell you that a message had come in, and a detour was necessary to pick someone up. You nodded, trying to calm your restless wolf even further. Her tension stretched taut through you as your driver changed course, heading southward into the countryside.
A good few hours later, your jeep had entered a small town, and coursed through its alleys before stopping at an obscure motel. “Are we stopping for long here?” you asked. “No Ma’am, we’re just picking someone up.” You nodded, and said “ Wait here, I’ll pick up some coffee and food in that case.” You hurried off to the motel’s restaurant, and came back with a flask full of hot coffee and a set of sandwiches; it was an easy excuse for a jeep sitting in a motel parking lot.
It was a good hour later that your new co-passengers turned up running - two grown men and a teenage boy between them. They scrambled hurriedly into your jeep, stuffing themselves awkwardly between the piles of your bags in the back seat and urged your driver to step on it. And you were speeding away.
You smelt blood, and realised they must have been in some kind of encounter. So you turned, and said “In case you gentlemen need it, there’s a first aid kit under the back seat, and I happen to have some medical knowledge. Anyone needs patching up?” As you gaze moved among the three, you realised one of them was familiar.
The man from the cafe in Jeju.
His ear was bleeding, as was a cut on his collarbone. As your eyes met, a flash of recognition came across his face, followed by a grimace due to the jostling vehicle. The other man and the teenage boy looked roughed up but not as hurt as this man.
“ The two of us are ok, but once we've driven further down, would you look at my friend’s cuts?” the other man spoke up. “I’m Hoseok, Jung Hoseok. This is Min Yoongi” he indicated the man from the cafe, “and this is Yeonjun”. “Song Y/N" you introduced yourself.
The jeep stopped for a short while on the highway as Mr. Jung and you switched places. You climbed into the back seat and pulled one of your bags out to remove a first aid kit, and handed a torchlight to Yeonjun to hold. You moved to examine the cuts with a frown.
Why isn’t Mr Min healing already?
You got your answer as you scented aconite on his wounds. This was bad. Shards of glass were embedded into his collar and shoulder, and his ear had a nasty cut. You cautioned your driver to drive as smoothly as possible, as you attempted to extract the larger shards from his cuts. Mr Min looked exhausted, but stayed stoic as you removed most of the shards, and tossed them out. You unwrapped some gauze, placed some slices of a medicated jelly and slapped it onto his collar wounds, covering them up.
The formula smelt a little, causing him to crunch his nose as he looked at you questioningly. “It’s a general antidote made of reconstituted bezoar stones in an agar base” you explained “It’ll help absorb the poison in your wound so we can get you healing like you normally should. He nodded and you continued your work. Once you had more or less bandaged him up, you closed your kit and sat back, your gaze flitting between the three men. Yeonjun and Mr. Min had dozed off in their exhaustion, while Mr. Jung was busy texting furiously on his phone.
You weren’t sure if you were allowed to pry, so you stayed quiet for the rest of the journey. When Mr. Jung had finished texting, you passed him the coffee and one of the sandwiches you’d picked up. The driver opted for just coffee, choosing to power through the long drive. It was in the wee hours of the morning the next day when your jeep pulled over behind a large building in Seoul, where Mr. Jung, Mr. Min and Yeonjun got off. Mr. Min looked at you gratefully and nodded in thanks. You replied with a smile, and your jeep sped off again into the city.
It took you a couple of days to settle in and sleep off the exhaustion of the trip, and luckily, the rooms you got were close to a neglected park that was overgrown enough for the public to avoid. Your wolf insisted on rolling around everywhere in your new place till it felt like home, and marked her attendance in the park bushes that night.
Cities weren’t designed for werewolves - they preferred the wide open spaces and dense forests of the countryside. If they had to, they picked smaller, greener suburbs, but for many ranking wolves, cities were inevitable - given that Seoul especially was the seat of government, for humans, wolves and other beings too. You had to find your way around the city, and see how you and your wolf can adapt to an urban lifestyle, and maybe even practice tracking and medicine differently.
As you lay in your new bed in your new home in this new city, you wondered where life would take you now, and hoped Grandpa Jeon would do right by you.

While you lay at home, musing at the turn of events in your life, a few miles away, Min Yoongi was being cleared for returning home at one of the small clinics werewolves frequented in the city. His healer had marvelled at the reconstituted bezoar gel you’d used, as it had taken out most of the aconite from his system. He was back on normal healing track, but his ear and shoulder was still sore. Which was why he was giving his partner, Hoseok, a one-armed hug as the other man cried tears of happiness into his normal shoulder. “I can’t believe I’m finally a father” he sniffed. News had come in from Hoseok’s home clan, alerting him of his little girl’s birth just as they had returned from their operation.
Yeonjun was in safe custody letting both men breathe for a while. “Look how lovely my little girl is!” Hoseok exclaimed, tears streaming down his face as he shoved his cellphone in Yoongi’s face. Yoongi hummed, continuing patting his hyper friend’s back.
“Take a proper break, and go look after your mate and little girl”, he told the sobbing man. “You’re a workaholic but they need you.” Hoseok nodded tearfully and hugged Yoongi again.
Yoongi was really happy for his friend. He looked forward to meeting the new little cub, and hoped she wouldn’t take after his crybaby partner. He also wondered if he’d be able to take a break too - he didn’t work as well with anyone else as he did Hoseok.
His mind went to his hometown, to what lay in wait for him, and he sighed. That was another mountain to climb and a new ditch to dig. Your face popped into his mind as well. He glanced at his healing shoulder, thought about his chance acquaintance with you, and hoped you were doing fine, especially given what he knew you'd gone through.
Tomorrow was another day, and hopefully, a better one.

Simon Dominic (AOMG) x Reader ft Jay Park Genre: Romance Count: 2.5k Warnings: Fluff / Some swearing Rating: PG-13  Requested: Yes
This was actually really fun to write. I love writing Jay Park ;)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Park Jaebum swivled in his black chair, eyeing his artist and friend with a suspicous eye. While it wasn't rare that Simon Dominic would come to him for advice on things, it was very rare that this advice would be about women. Kiseok had his fair share of relationships and hookups so he wasn't totally sure why the older man was looking particularly nervous right now.
"You want...relationship advice?" Jay asked, just to clarify. He wasn't exactly the poster-child for long, stable relationships and from what he remembered, Kisoek was about five months deep into a relationship at this point.
Scratching his cheek, Simon looked to the wall. God, this was so awkward. Asking his girlfriend's older brother about love advice while said brother had no knowledge of his little sister's involvement with one of his oldest, closest friends.
In his defense, it was you that had wanted to keep it quiet from Jay. You know how he got when it came to you, his baby sister - the baby of the family. He was a typical brother. Over protective and some times blinded by the sibling love to see that you were an adult now and could make your own decisions. He had fought you tooth and nail when you decided to come to Korea and be an actress, especially since your skin was darker and you didn't look like the typical Korean actress. His words were truthful but they still hurt. It took a lot of tears (on your part) for him to get over his personal feelings and support you.
So you were not in any rush to tell him about your relationship with Jung Kiseok, someone who he considered a best friend. Kiseok was also much older than you, so you were sure Jay would burst at the seams when he found out.
Your boyfriend, on the other hand, hated sneaking behind his friend's back like this. He felt like he was hiding you and that wasn't something he appreciated doing, to your or to himself. He had immense loyalty towards Jay as well so if this damaged the younger's trust in him, Kiseok wasn't sure if he could stand that. He'd known Jay for so many years that if he told him to break up with you, Kiseok wasn't confident in saying he wouldn't do just that.
Clearing his throat, Simon sat up straighter on the studio couch and faced Jay for the first time since he walked in. "Yeah. I want to meet my girl's family but she thinks we should wait a little longer. Because she's younger, she feels like her older b-...sister wouldn't approve."
Hearing the seriousness in the older man's tone caused Jay put his phone in his lap and give him his full attention. "Maybe she doesn't think you're serious about her? It's only been a few months."
Kiseok let out a breath and leaned back, muscles still tense. "I've liked her for about a year but I didn't want to approach her due to her...family. I'm serious about her, definitely, but I want to prove to her family that, despite the age difference, I genuinely care for her."
Jay watched him for an agonizing second before smiling widely. "Aw, that is so cute. You're in love~." He sang, only causing color to bloom over Kiseok's cheeks.
"Well- I- Yes, but I need options to show her family that I do," he defended as he stood slowly, "But if you're going to tease I can easily ask Loco-"
Jay scoffed, "You'd go to Loco for advice? He basically self combusts when Hwasa so much as looks in his direction."
Kiseok sat back down with a chuckle. Very true. Loco was a mess when it comes to his love life.
"Anyway," Jay continued like he didn't just shade his younger friend, "You should go meet with the sister, away from your girlfriend and tell her your intentions. If you get the one that opposes it the most on your side, the other family members would be easier to come around."
Taking a moment to think about, Kiseok agreed with a nod. "What if h-...she doesn't want to hear what I have to say?"
Noticing the hitch in his voice, Jay shrugged, "If you're serious about this girl then she'll listen. It's her sister, so of course she's going to want to meet you and see who you are. Go to a semi-public restaurant so she has to listen to you, without yelling."
Kiseok felt now would be a good time to make his move, but coming out right didn't sit well with him so instead, he nervously gulped and used the last of his will to ask, "What would you say to that?"
Jay interpreted it different than what Simon expected but he pondered it for a second before snapping his fingers. "Let's try this- I'll be the sister and you try to convince me to support the relationship. What's the age difference though?"
Feeling the panic rise to dangerous levels in his body, Kiseok did his hardest to hide his inner feelings before clearing his throat again. "It's um, more than six years."
Jay blinked at the new information but shrugged again. "She is an adult, right? How old is she?"
"She's um, twenty-six right now."
Feeling his shoulders relax, Jay took a breath. "Oh, she's the same age as Y/N? Okay, that's not too bad. Gosh, you got me worried you were dating some eighteen year old or something..."
Chuckling in nervousness, he was thankful that Jay was too distracted by getting into his character as the "sister" to notice how jumpy Kiseok became when he mentioned your name. They agreed that Jay would play the older sister coming to meet him at a restaurant so Jay stood and walked in the door, swinging his hips in an exaggerated motion as well as held his hand out like he was carrying a purse.
Jay slid onto the couch opposite of the older man and crossed one leg over the other. "So," he began in a high-pitched voice to mimic a woman’s. "You're the famous Simon Dominic my little sister is dating?"
Somehow, even with Jay pretending to be a girl, this all felt too real to Kiseok. He was nervously pulling at his collar before he could reign himself in. "I-...Yes. I'm Jung Kiseok, thank you for meeting me here..."
Jay blew his pretend manicure in boredom. "Let's cut to the chase." Within a few seconds, his dark eyes narrowed on him. "How can you date a woman so many years younger than you? Have you no shame?"
Absolutely caught off guard, Kiseok stuttered to respond, which made Jay break character and raise an eyebrow at how unsure the usually confident rapper was. Either way, he let the older man stumble to respond. "Your sister and I have real feelings for each other. I know you're concerned for the age difference and I also had my own reservations but getting to know her over these last few months made me realize my feelings for her are very much real. I would like your approval to continue dating her."
Back in character, Jay huffed with his nose in the air. "There are hundreds of men worthy of my sister, her age as well! What makes you think you deserve her? Just because you're a celebrity doesn't mean every woman has to fall at your feet!"
The sincerity in Simon's eyes as he spoke next took Jay aback a bit. "When I'm with her, I'm not Simon Dominic. I'm Jung Kiseok and she doesn't treat me any differently because of my status. I can be who I really am with her. When I wake up, all I want is to see her and hear her voice. When I'm having a bad day, she's the first person I run to...When I'm having a good day, she's usually the reason. Her smile is the most breath-taking thing I've ever seen."
Just seeing how starry-eyed Kiseok was getting talking about his girl made Jay smile a bit. He really liked this girl, whoever she was. "I know, she's my sister! That doesn't tell me about your intentions with her. I won't give my approval to just anyone."
Kiseok made sure to keep eye contact and if there were any traces of humor before, it was all gone by now. For some reason, Jay could feel the air around them take an even more serious turn. "Your sister makes me the happiest version of myself. We've only been together for a few months and even though I wanted to tell you when we first began dating, I respected her wishes to wait to tell you. Out of all the woman I've met, I've never wanted to spend my entire life with someone until now. It's too early to speak of marriage with her but I have every intention of asking for her hand, down the road."
Jay felt defensive, but he wasn't sure why. Maybe because he had a little sister who was the same age, but suddenly his voice was back to normal. "She has her whole life ahead of her and you two are at different stages of life. Wouldn't you want someone your own age?"
Kiseok heard his heart bumping a thousand beats per minute. It felt as if he were talking with Jay now, not the pretend scenario they conjured up. This was getting too real at this moment. "I've tried to convince her and myself that it would better for us not to date because of our age but after some discussion, we're both at the same point in life. I do want to settle down soon but I have a lot I want to do, career wise, and so does she. Right now, getting to know each other is our priority. All I know is that I can't live without her in my life right now. I love her."
Keeping the eye contact, Jay noticed that they weren't talking about the same person at this point. His eyes searched the older's face for a minute before he broke character entirely.
Siting back on the couch, the young CEO took a deep breath and had a sinking feeling in the pit of his stomach as he thought about his own baby sister. Your smiling face flashed in his mind. He had a small suspicion...so small it could be written off as paranoia.
Either way, he had to ask. He had to know. "Who is this girl?" The tone he used boomed with authority and usually was able to make weaker men tremble.
However, Kiseok must've noticed how pensive he became and understood that Jay was coming to the realization. He didn't have any reaction at first, just blinked at the younger man. After a few tense moments, he exhaled deeply. "I think you know who we're talking about."
That was confirmation itself, without even having to out right say your name.
So, without further ado, the usually cool-headed CEO blew the fuck up.
Launching out of his chair, Jay's chocolate eyes were set on fire, glaring at the man before him. "You're dating my sister! Without telling me!"
With no intention to fight or argue, Kiseok looked up calmly to his friend. "In my defense, I wanted to tell you as soon as we had our first date."
"My sister!" Jay nearly screamed, the realization finally dawning on him. "Y/N?! My own sister, behind my back?! What the fuck!"
Without much to say, he let Jay get it all out of his system. It looked as if he was in denial at first but after a few minutes of thick silence, he fell back onto the couch with a defeated look. It looked as if he'd aged ten years in the past ten minutes.
A hand rubbed down his face. "You're the man she's been telling me about? Damn it."
This peaked his curiosity and he couldn't help but ask, "She talked to you about me?"
Jay glared weakly at how eager he sounded but couldn't stay mad at his friend. "She mentioned she was interested in a guy in the industry, a few years older than her who sent her flowers every day for the duration of her movie shooting. I told her to pursue it if she kept babbling about him...You, I guess."
Trying to fight the smirk, he failed miserably. So Jay was the person who'd basically told you to date him? Everything really came full circle, didn't it? Seeing how utterly confused the young CEO looked, Kiseok took this time to tease him. "You know...if you hadn't told her to pursue a relationship with me...she wouldn't have agreed to our first date. So, you're directly responsible for us dating."
"I didn't know it was you she was talking about!" Jay defended, but quickly deflated once again. "Although, even if I knew it was you...I don't think I would've been opposed..."
"You wouldn't have?" The doubt in Kiseok's voice was too thick to cover up.
Jay crossed his arms, huffing like a child. "How can I oppose you two being together when you bought her flowers every day for months? Not to mention the whole k-drama worthy speech you just gave me..."
"So," Kiseok started gingerly, "Does this mean..?"
"That I approve?" Jay grumbled in his chest. "You're lucky I know the kind of man you are. If you'd been any other sleazy rapper I'd end this right now."
Kiseok felt oddly flattered. It didn't last long though.
"But," Jay continued, eyes narrowing dangerously. "Y/N is still my precious baby sister so if you hurt her in any way, if you fuck up, I'll be on your ass faster than you can apologize."
A weight lifted from his shoulders that he didn't even know was there. Jay was the biggest obstacle in your relationship so with his approval and him on your side, it would be easier for your family to come around, especially since they knew and loved Simon like he was apart of the family.
Jay stood, fingers unlocking his phone so he could call you. With the phone to his ear, he gave Kiseok one last once over, "Also, I don't want to hear about any...activities you two have."
Laughter followed the CEO out of the studio as he left a voicemail to meet him and "your little boyfriend" for lunch today.

The Elder Tree series: Held Together
Pairing: Simon Dominic x Reader
Genre: Pure fluff.
Tumblr media
You first set eyes on Jung Kiseok when he walks into the village, your little furry shadow, once a stray, following closely behind you. You had woken up later than normal, your body still heavy with the remnants of deep sleep when you feel the earth still around you as you wander by the entrance to the village, and you stop in your tracks as you suddenly become wide awake.
Energy floods you as the runes engraved into your skin begin to glow, your entire being seeming to feel as if you were renewed as your eyes fall onto him. You watch as he tenses and meets your gaze, his jaw dropping slightly and his tongue rolling around in his mouth as he looks into your eyes. In that moment the world seems to come to a halt, your heartbeats synchronizing and quickly beating in time.
The moment breaks when your eyes widen and you look away, flushing and raising a hand to your chest, trying to calm down as you shuffle past the group. You find a chair nearby, set out by one of your group for a nice resting place, hardly noticing as your furry companion trails behind you. You take a seat, resting and taking deep breaths with your eyes closed as you feel yourself relax, your heartbeat slowing.
You don’t notice the eyes that watch you and you don’t feel as Jung Kiseok sits next to you quietly, awed by your beauty as you rest on the cushioned bench, sitting in the dappled sunlight that shines through the trees that surround you. The flowers are fragrant as you sit in silence, the only noise being birds singing and flying overhead. You open your eyes and look to Kiseok, a sense of peace settling over the both of you as you meet each other’s eyes.
You know that the runes that swirl around your body are glowing, and you watch in wonder as you notice silver flecks in his eyes, reflecting the silver runes on your body. You only have time to notice him before his hand touches yours, fingers intertwining and hands clasping together as if they had been glued together. His touch sends shivers down your spine and you smile bashfully, flushing as you watch his handsome face break into a small smile.
And, suddenly, you realize that you may have just met your other half.

10 Years Later
Tumblr media
Genre : mafia!au, angst, fluff
Warnings : swears, cursing
Pairing : Jung Kiseok/ Simon Dominic x Female reader (Y/N)
Synopsis : Kiseok is in one of the biggest mafia in Seoul, but what if he has to take care of a girl who didn't pay his boss back ? (Inspired by "10 years later" of KBS world Gag concert)
It's been 3 years. 3 years since he left, your ex-husband. Now it's you, your 5 years old son and your little bakery but, since he left so suddenly, you didn't had any money. That's why you ask loan. You thought this old man was simply a loan shark, like the orthers, not that he was the boss of the biggest mafia in town. And now you're here, counting your money, wanting to buy a new uniform for your kid, but also fearing that you won't be able to payback your loan.
You're 3 month late now, but you try not to think about it, and still smile to your costumers.
~~~~~
"The women in there is 3 month for a payment. The boss want you to take care of it, but he doesn't want any trouble so be careful." Wonjae said, nonchalantly.
"No problem, thank you for taking me here"
Wonjae then leaved Kiseok alone.
Kiseok first watched your bakery. Their was a grandma in there, talking with you while smiling. Your son was there too, admiring his first recently buyed uniform. Your bakery was cute, he tought. It was a shame that it might be destroy because you made a mistake.
He then entered, and he saw the look on your face, because you knew. You knew that he was there for your money. He looked scary, he just wearing a flowery shirt, his hair was in front of his eyes, but he still looked menacing. The grandma had no idea, your son neather.
"I think you know why i'm here, what your mistakes was. Your not paying my boss back, even if he gently lended you a lot of money." He said, a little bit playfuly.
You looked at your hand, not wanting to act up. "I-i'll pay him back soon, i just don't have the money now, please wai-"
"You know that this is steeling ?" He cut you off "I can report you for steeling ! Now where is my damn money !" He said while kicking in some supplies box. "Should i destroy this place?!"
"Stop screaming at my mom !" Your son said, while punching Kiseok in the legs with his tiny hand. Kiseok then just kicked him off his leg, making you kid fall.
"Are you crazy ?! How dare you hit a little child like this ?!" The grandma said, while you checked if your kid was okay.
"Lian, are you okay ?" You asked calmly to your kid.
"Mind your own fucking business, old lady. Or you'll have problems too." Kiseok said, pointing at her and getting angry.
That was enough. You stood and looked at him. "How dare threaten an old woman who's innocent ?-"
He cut you off buy grabbing theback off your neck, keeping you close. "Then i'm threaten you." He said with dark eyes "I'll comeback, everyday i'll be here, until i get my money back, understood ?" He tighten his grips. "Wethever it take 10, or 20 years, I'll never leave this place, until I get all, my money back. Do you understand ?" He asked again.
You couldn't move or speak, so you just noded. Then he let you go, leaving the bakery.
~~~~~
This night, dinner was full of question. "Who was that ? Why did he wanted our money ? Did he hurt you mommy ? Will he comeback ? I don't want to... he's scary..." You just sigh at those questions.
"I'm sorry sweety, but he'll comeback. But don't worry, he won't hurt you, or me. I promise." You said, not really believing you words.
~~~~~
And Kiseok kept his promise. The next day, he came to your bakery. You opened the door and he entered with you, and sat while watching you doing you job. After some weeks, you got used to him being there but you still feard him, because you didn't know what he was capable of. Kiseok, also started liking watching you work, cook, but sometimes was frustrated because he tought you forgot about him, then started messing around, talking to you, without answers. You didn't mind him because you were use to someone messing around like that. He reminded you of Lian, your son. He was always by your side, until his first day of school. And it was now a month since school started and you missed him a little bit.
But that day, Kiseok made a mess in the kitchen, and you were out of bread with cream. It was Lian favorite, and he loved eating it after school.
"I can't believe you ! Even with the door locked you still managed to mess the kitchen, and now Lian will be sad because of you !" You yelled at Kiseok.
He was shock by you action. He never saw you this angry. "I- hum, why are you this angry- andwho said you could scream at m-"
"I don't care right now ! You already messed with my kid, and I promised him you won't hurt him !" You started tearing up. "I made a mistake, not him ! I made lots of mistakes and evertime he's hurting because of me..." you started crying a little. "And now I can't even get him bread. I couldn't even keep his dad,"
"That's why you're out of money ?" Kiseok suddenly asked.
"Why do you care anyway," you said, wiping your tears away.
"Becaus I'm not a monster. I don't hurt kids."
"I don't believe you. You're able of anything."
Not when it comes to you, he quickly tought. But instead, he just leaved, living you alone. You then went to clean the kitchen, but it felt strange. After your fight with Kiseok, you felt sad and angry but different. You felt regrets, and it reminded you of your last relationship.
In the other hand, Kiseok was just angry. He tried to be nice to you and you rejected him. And why did he even try ? After all if you wanted him to leave you just need to give him his money right ? But at the same you didn't want to give it to him, and he didn't want it eather. He then passed in front of a bakery, it's seems empty of people, so he went in. And it feels strange. He didn't like it there, it was not your bakery.
~~~~~
15 minutes later you went to pick up Lian at school. You hate that, seeing all those rich beautiful moms, and those dads picking their sons up, but your heart warms up when you saw your son, all happy and smiley, ready to tell every detail of his day.
"Mom do we still have creamy-bread ?" He asked, excited.
"No, sweety I'm sorry, but yoi can have two tomorrow" you said, smiling to him.
But he shaked his head "no, it's okay.." a little bit disapointed.
And when you came back to the bakery, Kiseok was there, waiting for you.
Lian gasped "Creamy Bread !" And ran to Kiseok.
"I buyed it just for you," He said, smiling.
"Thank you !" Lian responded, going upstairs to the living room.
You looked at Kiseok, he looked back.
"Before you say anything, yours is better" Kiseok started, you giggled. "And I'm sorry"
"Won't you get in trouble because of that ?" You said, taking one step towards him,
"Oh, I will, but it's worth it" he said, going towards you until only inches parted you two. "Do you think you'll have the money soon ?"
You sigh and shake you head, looking down.
He smirked "Good." And leaved, leaving you alone and shook.
~~~~~
It's been two month now, it's saturday and it's pouring outside, but Kiseok is still here, outside of your bakery. But you were 40 minutes now and he started to worry. And then Lian opened the door of the bakery.
"Mom won't open the bakery today" Lian said,
Kiseok quickly brought Lian inside "You shouldn't stay outside" he arranged his hair "Why she won't open today ? Is it because of our fight yesterday ..?"
You two fought because Kiseok tought you looked tired, and you droped something because of you tiredness. He tried to help you but he pushes him away, telling that you didn't need his help and that Lian didn't a fake dad who'll crush him gain when he'll leave. Hurt by your words, he just leaved, but still told Lian to say that he was sorry.
"Not at all, she said you were right, but she's sick today" he said that like he could for two and take care of you "everything is under control-"
Kiseok took Lian in his arms and went to your appartment. When he went in, he saw you in the kitchen, making breakfast for Lian, and it felt right.
He never went upthere. It was small but very clean, neat and luminous. The furnitures were old but in good shape. But it felt good, like home.
He put down Lian and closed the door. You turnes around to the sound and saw Kiseok, with a simple sweatshirt, drench from the heavy rain.
"You souldn't be here," you said
"And you shouldn't be alone, making breakfast when your this sick." He responded, taking his sweatshirt of, wearing a simple white shirt. "Go rest on the sofa, I'll cook"
You looked at him, then sigh and went to the sofa. Your body couldn't take more of standing so you laid down, followed by Lian, taking you temperature with his tiny hand.
Kiseok glanced at you, and smiled. He wanted that, this life, you.
~~~~~
"What the fuck is he doing !?" Said Song Gab, the boss of the mafia, while trowing a fist. "He said he'll take care of it, it's been two month, is he gently asking !? I'm feed up !!"
"But you said you wanted no problems-" Wonjae tried to defend Kiseok, but got cut off
"I don't fucking care ! I believe in him, and now he is playing around !" He sigh "Go and take him here, and destroy everything with him." He said to his others, immediately going. And Wonjae quickly called Kiseok.
~~~~~
It was late when they arrived, and Kiseok was waiting for them infront of the bakery. It was still raining.
"You need to come with us" the first man said
"I'll pay it back, even the double amount". He quickly said.
"What ?" Wonjae was shook "Why ? Why in hell would you do that ??"
Kiseok looked at him "Because I want this. I want this life, this bakery, this woman."
The men looked at eachother, but then went back to there cars.
"Are you sure ?" Wonjae asked, confused
Kiseok smiled at his friend "More than I ever was" and went back to you.
~~~~~
10 years later, you were still there, in your little bakery, your son, and Kiseok. He paid all your debt and quit his dangerous lifestyle, but never told you. He still camed every day at your bakery. Lian knew, this whole time but never said a word to you, keeping it a secret between him and Kiseok.
You never officialy started dating, because you knew that was not necessary. Soon, he just started to live with you.
You never tought you would appreciate a mistake that much.
A/N : Hope you liked it ! 💚

You Can Do Better
[Blurb XVII]
Simon Dominic (Jung Kiseok) x Idol!Reader Characters: Ssam-D, Jessi Ho Summary: You recently went public with your relationship with Ssam-D, making most questions you get on interviews directed towards him. Word Count: 1k+ Warnings: Fluff,  jealousy, pining, suggestive themes, specific depictions of reader, eg, being tall and fit, typos etc.
A/N: this is pretty long for a blurb considering its word count but yeah
Tumblr media
I was invited to Jessie’s Showterview and it was immediately loud, lively, and chaotic on set. It started when I walked in with a crop top, showing a pretty decent portion of my midriff.
Jessi gasps and points to my top.
I turn down to my top, “what?”
She turns to the camera, “she’s so sexy. She really wants to show off her hard work.”
“I’ve been going to the gym a lot lately. I don’t work on my abs for nothing.”
Jessi turns to the camera, “this is why we’re friends.”
She begins to ask me a bunch of questions about my comeback and whatnot, we play a quick trivia game, then she gets to the segment she said she was most excited to talk me about.
“So, you have recently went public with your relationship with Simon Dominic.”
The crew makes a sound.
I turn to them, knitting my brows, “are you all fans? You seem enthusiastic.”
“They are,” Jessi fans herself with her cue cards, “you’re a hot topic and it will increase our ratings.”
I make a knowing look and break into a laugh.
“But you know when I heard the news, my immediate thought was you can do better.”
I break into an even louder laugh. The rest of the people on set laugh with me.
Jessi shakes her hands, “no don’t get me wrong, like, I’m friends with Ssam-d oppa, but knowing you and how amazing you are-”
I chuckle and cover my face.
“- like she can do everything, I think-”
“That’s not true.”
“-no, but you really can though. Like, you can sing, dance, act, model, and look at how tall she is!” Jessi shakes her head, “you’re taller than him, aren’t you?”
I raise a finger, “just a bit. When I wear heels, I’m definitely taller.”
“See!” Jessi says, “you’re every person’s dream. You’re the full package. You can do much better, babe.”
We all share a laugh.
I sigh and shake my head, “that’s what mother said.”
There in another eruption of even louder laughter.
“SEE!” Jessi calls.
By now, I’m clenching my stomach in laughter. Jessi turns back to me, waving her cue cards around, “now I have to ask. Why are you dating him then?”
“Let’s see,” I sigh and cross my arms, “why am I dating him again?”
Jessi leans into me as she breaks into laughter. I shake my hands, “No, no, no, I’m joking, clearly,” I playfully roll my eyes, “I remember when I met him for the first time, he was really confident and forward. Cause, I’m really forward too, and I don’t think I could ever date a guy who couldn’t handle my strong personality.”
“That’s right. She’s very American-style; very opinionated and honest, like me.”
“Right,” I nod, “what I really liked about him was how thoughtful and sweet he is. He’s patient and understanding, and I can, like, feel safe around him.”
I turn away from her as I continue my thoughts, “you know I think you an tell how much confidence he has, how much swagger, considering he’s a rapper. I fell like he channels that energy into our relationship. He makes me laugh so hard and makes me feel precious with how much he tells me.” I turn back to Jessi, “he’s great.”
Jessi makes a face, “I’m so fucking single.”
We explode into another fit of laughter.
“Okay, so, we’re gonna test that and see just how strong your relationship is.” Jessi explains. “We’re going to have you prank call him,”
“Oooh!” I break into excitement, “okay what do we do?”
Jessi reads her script, “okay, we’re gonna make you call him to see if you can get him to say a key word.”
I nod enthusiastically, “okay, game.”
Jessi reads her card and laughs, “Ya!” She throws her head back, ”you have to get him to say ‘I’m so angry,’”
My face drops, I turn to the producers on set, “ya, I don’t think he’d say that to me though. Do I have to say it exactly?”
The producer tells me no.
Jessi shakes her hands, “Does he never get angry at you? Or like, gets annoyed or irritated. How does he react when you do something like that..”
“You know what, there was this one time where I dropped ice cream on his shirt and he was just like ‘it’s alright, accidents happen.’” I place a hand on my chest, “I felt so much worse though compared to I think how I would if he got mad at me.”
“That can happen. If they’re so nice about something you did wrong, you ending wanting them to just cuss you out.”
The staff laugh at that while I get my phone, “you know what, I’ll try though.”
“Really?” Jessi asks in surprise.
I’m already dialing his number when I suddenly ask, “what do I even tell him?”
“You can just like-” Jessi starts but gets cut off when I look to my phone screen and hear, “Hello?”
“Hi, oppa.”
He hums, “what’s up, baby?”
Jessi breaks into a wide smile.
I break into a smile as well, then ask, “Oppa, are you busy right now? Are you at work?”
“Yeah, I’m at the studio right now.”
“Ah, I’ll be quick then-”
“No, no, it’s good. I always have time for you.”
Jessi suddenly stands and pretends to leave.
I feel my cheeks burn, “aw, thank you, baby.”
His deep voice goes up an octave higher, “of course.”
“Oppa, I just want to ask how you would feel if I hang out with a friend tonight. A guy friend.”
It takes him a long moment to reply. I feel a bit nervous. He speaks, “who is he?”
Jessi and I turn to each other, “No, no, like, hypothetically. I’m not actually hanging out with anyone.”
“Ahhhh,” he sighs in slight relief. His voice trails off “well... I mean you’re your own person, and it’s your friend...”
I wave my hands around, “so, how do you feel about it?”
“It’s okay. Do what makes you happy.”
I break into a soft smile. I then think of something else, “but what if I sleep over at his place?”
Jessi’s jaw slack. He give me a look and I give her a panicked one.
For a moment, I think he drops the line and I turn back to my phone to see if he was still in-call. “Kiseok oppa?”
“...”
“Oppa,” I stand from my seat, “I just want to know how you’d feel. I’m not actually going to do it.”
“I’d be fucking pissed,” he quickly blurts
Jessi calls, “PASS! PASS!”
I break into a sigh of relief and the crew breaks out of their silence. Jessi gets my phone and says, “oppa, oppa! It’s Jessi.”
He doesn’t respond.
“Your girlfriend and I are doing Jessi Showterview and her mission was to get you to say ‘I’m so angry’ and you just passed with flying colors.”
Kiseok curses again.
Jessi calls out but then breaks into laughter. She then gives a bow, “I’m sorry for making you angry at your girlfriend.”
He sighs, “actually, I should have seen this coming cause she told me she had an interview today.”
“See! It’s really your fault for getting angry.”
I laugh but he agrees, “I suppose part of it is though. I should be more understanding.”
I get my phone back and pout, “You’re already understanding. Sorry, baby.”
“It’s okay, I’ll have my revenge soon enough.”
I still.
He sweetly replies, though I can hear the smirk in his tone, “have fun at work, baby.”

Six months, that’s how long it’s been since I have heard from Kiseok. I left a year ago for work, as an attorney my company was hired on to accompany another company over to London to assist them with opening a new branch there. I didn’t want to leave but knew it was best for my career. I convinced myself it wouldn’t be that bad as I was able to fly home often to see my family and friends. Yet somewhere during the first six months I noticed Kiseok was slowly pulling away before he completely cut off communication. It wasn’t just me either, it was all of our friends outside of his work life. I tried my best to get some kind of information about him from everyone at AOMG but they all said he was fine and just working. He wasn’t posting on social media either and the only time I ever saw his face was when he was caught in a picture with Jay or one of the other guys. It was as if he was being locked in some dungeon and only brought out now and then to remind people he was still around. With this stupid contract over I was finally going home and I planned on getting some answers.
When my plane finally landed I quickly collected my bags before grabbing a cab to my apartment. During the cab ride I tried calling him again but was met once again with his voicemail. I left my millionth message before I sent him a text telling him I was home and to call me. When I arrived at my apartment it was already too late to do anything tonight so I just decided to just get settled in. I washed my clothes and made a call to my mom thanking her for filling the fridge with food as I was too tired from my flight to try and grocery shop. After I ate a small dinner and showered I laid down in my bed looking at the pictures on the night stand. There was one of me and my parents and then one of me and Kiseok. Even with all the trips back home the past year I never once got to see him, in fact the last time I saw him was when he brought me to the airport the day I left.
Kiseok was carrying my backpack on his shoulder as he walked me to the security check point. I walked next to him with my eyes trained on the ground, the thought of not being home for a long time made me emotional. The whole morning I was regretting this decision even if it was the best move for my career, I really just didn’t want to leave now. I glanced up just as we reached the rope closing off that area to people not boarding a plane. I turned to Kiseok and glanced up at him only to see him smiling down at me.
“This is where I leave you Y/n, here take your bag. Do you have everything you need? Did you remember your ear plugs and your nausea patch?”
I nod my head yes, he was always the one reminding me of things I probably would have forgotten about. Just as I was the one to make sure he didn’t get lost in his work, we always kept each other grounded and took care of each other.
“Hey now, no tears.”
I didn’t even realize I was crying until he reached out to brush the tears that were slowly making their way down my face. With the touch of his finger on my skin it was as if the dam was broken the I launched myself at him dropping my bag to the floor as the tears fell freely down my face. I wrapped my arms around his neck and cried into his shoulder. Kiseok wrapped his arms around me and ran his hand down my hair trying to comfort me.
“I don’t wanna go.”
“Don’t say that Y/N, you know this what’s best. You need to go and show them how amazing you are at your job. It won’t even be that long, you said you can come back and see your family, so it won’t feel that long. Plus we can call and video chat. It will just be like I am on tour.”
“Who is going to be here to make sure you aren’t working yourself to death? Who will make sure you are eating actual food and not just snacks? Jay and the others are too busy to make sure you’re not killing yourself. You won’t rely on your family either and you know it.”
“Don’t worry about me ok, I am a big boy and will take care of myself. Just promise me you will do the same over there. Don’t over work yourself either, I know how you get and you will stay up all night working and then will try and work off a couple of hours of sleep and loads of caffeine. I am not the only one who doesn’t know how to stop working.”
I laughed and pulled back to look at his face, I took in every curve every inch of him trying to put him to memory as best as I could. Yeah, I would be back here and there but I had a bad feeling. Kiseok was staring back at me as if he was doing the same thing, trying to put my red puffy face to memory and it only made my tears come faster. His hand reached back to my face to brush the tears as they fell.
“Please don’t cry, I want to see your face smiling before you go on that plane. Can you do that for me? If I don’t get a smile I am going to right to your apartment after I leave here and I will burn all of your Bigbang merch, especially your TOP pillow.”
“You wouldn’t!”
“Smile for me or I will.”
I narrowed my eyes at him, the tears had finally stopped. That man knew exactly how to handle me when I fell into my cry baby mode. I couldn’t help but smile when I saw how smuged he looked.
“Good girl, now give me a hug and get your little cry baby ass on the plane.”
“Oppa you don’t play fair.”
He hugged me tight to him and I breathed him in making sure to remember the way he felt and smelt.
“Please be safe and come back to me.”
“I will oppa.”
Kiseok released me from his hold so I could pick up my bag. I walked towards the security entry and right before I walked through the door I looked back once more at him to see him smiling and waving at me.
The memory brought back a fresh wave of tears, I missed him so much. Everyone always wondered why we weren’t together, we were really good together but it just never happened. He only saw me as his little sister while I saw him differently. I truly loved him with all my heart but I kept my feelings to myself. We had been friends since grade school, my family moved here and I would have been an outcast if it wasn’t for him. My father was part of the underworld of crime, so naturally the other kids kept their distance. Except for Kiseok who approached me and took care of me and kept me safe from the bullies. Eventually the other kids came around and started talking to me. Kiseok was also the one to help me when I announced my plans on becoming a lawyer to my family. My father wasn’t happy but my mother was proud of me for wanting to better myself. After some years my father ended his criminal life and opened up a chicken restaurant, he didn’t want to put my career in jeopardy. Kiseok was there to help on the opening day even with him trying to make his own way in the music world. Kiseok was there for everything but now he wasn’t. I reached out grabbing the picture and holding it close sending a silent prayer up that he was ok.
The next day I woke up and ate a small breakfast before I got dressed and headed towards Kiseok’s apartment. I figured it was pretty early in the day so he might still be there sleeping. I rang his bell and called his phone but got no response so I used the passcode to enter his apartment. When I walked in the lights were all off and there were no sounds coming from anywhere. I walked into his room and the bed looked as if it hadn’t been touched in days. His closet was also empty of his clothes. I sat down on his bed and let my head fall into my hands, as far as I knew he had no tours or had anything going on that would take him from home. I pulled my phone from my purse and saw it was still too early for anyone to be at the AOMG office so I decided to just stop by my parent’s house and kill some time there.
Around early afternoon I decided to head down to AOMG to get some answers. As I was walking into the office I happened to run right into Chase and Seonghwa.
“Chase!”
“Y/n when did you get back?”
“I got back last night, say is Jay here yet?”
“Yeah he is up in his office why?”
“I wanted to stop in and say hi.”
“Alright, hey why don’t we all go out for dinner tonight?”
“Sure that sounds good, I will talk to you guys later.”
I quickly turned toward the stairs trying to remain calm and not run up them like a mad woman. I was finally going to get some answers and I wasn’t going to let Jay out of my sight until he gave them to me. I stopped at his door and took a deep breath before giving a light knock.
“Come in.”
I opened the door walking in to see him typing away on the computer not even lifting his head. When I shut the door behind me he finally looked up and smiled at me.
“Y/n when did you get home?”
“Last night.”
“Sit sit, would you like something to drink?”
“Water is fine.”
I sat down in the chair across from his desk as he poured me a glass of water and sat it in front of me.
“So what brings you here?”
“I am going to get right to the point, where the fuck is Kiseok?”
“Ah so that’s why you are here.”
“You had to know this was going to be the first thing I did when I got back. I haven’t heard from him in 6 months Jay. SIX FUCKING MONTHS! I have called you and you feed me the same line that he is fine. Now I want the truth, where is he? I went to his apartment this morning and it doesn’t look like anyone has been there. He isn’t answering any of my messages, it’s like he just disappeared. The only time I see him is if he is in pictures with one of the guys otherwise he isn’t showing up anywhere. So tell me where he is.”
“He is fine Y/n please don’t worry about him.”
“Stop telling me that! Just tell me where he is. Is he sick?”
“No he isn’t sick.”
“Then just tell me.”
“God Y/n it’s not like I have him locked up in some dungeon.”
“Well it sure feels like it because you just keep giving me the run around. If you don’t tell me where he is I’m going to tear this place apart looking for him. I won’t leave without answers Jay.”
“Stop being so dramatic, Kiseok always said you had a dramatic side but this is my first time seeing it.”
“Tell me where HE IS!”
“He isn’t sick and he isn’t in trouble ok, that’s all you need to know.”
I could feel the anger rising and I closed my eyes trying to calm myself down as I held onto the glass of water.
“Jay I am asking you one more time, where the fuck is Kiseok.”
“I am going to tell you one more time, he is fine and don’t worry about it.”
I stand from my chair and hurl the glass over Jay’s head making it hit the wall and shattering it into pieces. Jay sat back in his chair crossing his arms over his chest looking up at me with a smile on his face.
“You can take the girl out of the gang but you can’t take the gangster out of the girl.”
“I will show you a gangster if you don’t produce Kiseok right the fuck now!”
“Ok ok, just relax. You have to know I wasn’t lying when I said he was working, he really is working. You are going to feel really silly after all this.”
“As long as you show me Kiseok I will apologize for all this but until then you are still the bad guy.”
“I thought we were friends.”
“We are but friends don’t keep friends from each other. Now where is he?”
“You are lucky I don’t have anything planned for today, come on let’s go.”
Jay stood from his desk and grabbed his stuff before ushering me out the door and to his car. The whole care ride was spent in silence and the air was thick with tension. I had no idea where we were going and I didn’t know what I would be walking into. I had always feared Kiseok was sick or in trouble because that was the only explanation that I could come up with that would make sense for him to cut communication for this long. Jay eventually pulled up to a building that looked to be a mix of apartments and business spaces. We exited his car and walked into the building taking the stairs down to the lower floor. Jay stopped outside of a door and turned towards me.
“Please just know none of this was my idea ok, this was all on him.”
“Open the door Jay.”
Jay entered the passcode unlocking the door and we stepped in. The lights were dimmed down so Jay turned them up revealing the space. It was the size of a small one bedroom apartment, there was a small living room and kitchen. There were two doors one labeled as a bathroom and one that had a light over the door that was currently on.
“Jay what is this?”
“Just a little space we use when we need space from the main office.”
“What’s behind this door? What is with the light?”
“That’s the recording room, when the light is on that means someone is in there recording.”
I reached for the doorknob turning it but noticed it was locked from the other side.
“He is probably recording.”
“Why is he here Jay? This doesn’t explain anything!”
“He was working on his album but he said he couldn’t concentrate with everything and said he needed to log off from everything. He was stuck, he couldn’t get anything out for weeks. So he turned off everything and packed some bags and came here. He made me promise not to tell anyone where he was. He didn’t want to be distracted with anything because he just wants to get this album done.”
I let out a frustrated growl as my hands went to my hair pulling on it. I took that moment to fully look at my surroundings. A pillow and blanket was thrown across the couch and there were cans and trash laying around. I walked past Jay to the small kitchen and opened the fridge and cabinets only to see more junk food and snacks.
“Jay there is no food in here! Have you not been checking in with him? Jay he needs actual food!”
“He is a big boy, I am not his mother. He can get his own food.”
“You are the only one who knows he is here! He is your responsibility to make sure he is taking care of himself.”
“Now you know he is ok we can go.”
“The hell I will, I don’t know shit. All I know is that he is in this small cramped room that smells. I am not leaving until I see his face.”
“Well then we are waiting.”
We both sat on the couch pushing things away to make room. Minutes went by as we waited for the light to come off, the room was sound proof so I couldn’t hear much from it. I glanced over at Jay to see him on his phone messing with it, I couldn’t help but roll my eyes with how annoyed I was with him. After some time I pulled my phone out to check the time and noticed it has been an hour since we first came here and that light was still on. I reach down and grab my purse having had enough of this waiting game. I walked over to the door and grabbed some things from my purse before I proceeded to pick lock the door.
“Look at you full of all kinds of tricks.”
“This is nothing, we use to unlock the doors to the teacher lounge room to get the good snacks back in school.”
After messing with the door I was finally able to unlock it and opened the door leaving my purse on the floor. I expected to see him in the middle of a song but instead I found him slumped over his keyboard. I rushed over to him and tried to shake him gently to wake him. From the looks of the room it’s as if he was sleeping in here as well with a sleeping bag on the floor and more snack bags and water bottles on the floor.
“Oppa wake up, please wake up. It’s me Y/n, wake up.”
Kiseok slowly stirred in his chair before slowly opening his eyes and looking up at me with a confused look on his face. It took him a minute to register that I was actually there.
“Y/n.” He said with a smile on his face.
“Oppa come on let’s get you up.”
I slowly helped him to his feet but he was still unsteady on his own so I put his arm around my shoulder and helped him out of the room.
“Jay I am taking him out of here. Is his car here?”
“No he didn’t bring it.”
“Then drive us to my place.”
Jay helped me get him to the car and sat him in the backseat where I also climbed in after him. Kiseok leaned up against me before closing his eyes and falling back to sleep.
“Jay what the fuck. How could you let him get this way.”
“I am sorry Y/n, I mean he said he was fine. Whenever he came out he was fine, I had no idea it was like this.”
“I swear to god Jay if there is anything wrong with him I will kill you myself.”
When we arrived at my apartment Jay helped me bring him in and sat him down on my bed before excusing himself. I left him on the bed as I walked into the attached bathroom and turned the shower on. I then walked out and over to the dresser grabbing his sleep pants he always left here. I laid them on the bed and bent down to look at Kiseok.
“Oppa, I need you to get up and shower. Can you do that?”
He nodded his head and stood walking over to the bathroom entering it and closing the door slightly. With him in the shower I decided to make him some soup as he probably hadn’t eaten anything home cooked in who knows how long. The soup was pretty basic and didn’t take long to make, just as I was taking it off the stove I heard the shower finally turn off. I poured some soup into a bowl and also served him some rice before setting it at the kitchen counter for him to eat. As I was cleaning up the kitchen I heard his shuffling feet coming down the hall and couldn’t help but smile. Before I could turn to face him I felt him come up from behind me and hugging me close to his body. I stayed that way letting him hold me and heard him sigh before I felt him relax which allowed me the chance to turn around in his arms putting my arms around his waist. I looked up at his tired face and felt my smile slip.
“Oppa…why? Why did you do this? You don’t even look like my oppa, you look like a zombie.”
“I had no choice, I needed to get this done. Everyone is pressuring me for this new album and it was so much stress. I had a mental block and nothing was coming out.”
“You should have told me, I would have helped you through this.”
“I couldn’t tell you, you would have jeopardized everything and came home. I didn’t want to do that.”
“That’s not important, you are what’s important. I knew this was going to happen. No one was here to take care of you.”
“Your back now.”
“Yes I am and you are not allowed to ever go back to that place. In fact you are not allowed to leave this apartment until I say so. You need REAL food and rest. If anyone gets upset with this I will take responsibility, I will put them in their place.”
“My girl grew up, who is this strong woman standing in front of me.”
“Oppa I am still that little scared girl but I need to be strong right now, I can’t stand to see you like this.”
I pulled away to drag him to the chair making him sit down to eat. I sat down next to him and watched him devour the food before he asked for another bowl which I happily served him. He asked me why I wasn’t eating and I just replied that I was full from just watching him eat. With his stomach nice and full he sat back in his chair and rubbed his belly with a silly smile on his face.
“I missed your cooking Y/n.”
“Go lay down in bed, I will clean up in here.”
“No leave that for tomorrow.”
Kiseok stood and grabbed my hand before leading the way back to the bedroom. He pulled the covers back before climbing in and dragging me along with him. I smiled as I snuggled into his chest.
“I missed you Y/n.”
“I missed you too oppa.”
“You’re really not going to let me out of this apartment?”
“Nope, you better deal with it. This little stunt of yours is not cool oppa. I am very mad at you and at Jay for going along with this stupid plan. Do you have any idea of how worried you had me?”
“Sorry, I didn’t mean to make you worried. I won’t do it ever again.”
“Good cause I don’t plan on ever giving you the chance to do this again.”
“Oh really? How are you going to do that?”
“Well you will either have to move in here or I move into your apartment.”
The room was silent and I felt maybe I had gone too far. This whole time apart made me realize I didn’t want to waste any more time apart from him. I needed to make a move if I wanted to be happy.
“What are you getting at Y/n?”
“What I am trying to say is that I don’t want to be apart from you anymore. I am probably going to be way out of line here but to hell with it. I like you Kiseok….no I love you. Not just as a friend but like in the way that the thought of you with another woman drives me crazy.”
“Are you telling me the truth?”
“I would never lie to you oppa.”
“Wow I had no idea.”
“I am sorry if I made you uncomfortable.”
I try to move away and off his chest but he held me close to him not allowing me to escape.
“Where do you think you are going.”
“I went too far, I was just trying to give you some space.”
“You didn’t do anything of the sort. If anything, I feel little ashamed that you made that confession before I could.”
“What?”
“Y/n I have been in love with you for years but never made a move because I didn’t want to lose you.”
“Really?”
“Yeah, wow I feel silly. I should have said something first not you.”
“I won’t tell anyone.”
I looked up at him as he looked down at me and smiled before bending down and taking my lips with his. The kiss was soft and sweet, his lips felt like home and I smiled into the kiss before we broke up apart.
“Oppa don’t think you are off the hook just because you kissed me.”
“Hmm, maybe I need to do something else to get you to forget about my little stunt.”
I laughed as he brought the blankets fully over us. The world felt right with him wrapping himself around my body. Nothing could top this feeling right now, but he better be prepared for an encore performance because I knew I wouldn’t get enough of him.

Heated (Simon D x Reader)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Swiping the back of your hand against your forehead, you cringed at the beads of sweat that made contact with your hand. Summers in Seoul were brutal; being a major city, it was not only hot from the heat, but humid from the amount of people, buildings and roads as well.
No matter how many years you’d lived in South Korea, you were still not used to the stickiness; what made it even worse was that you had just finished helping a friend move apartments, and it was only eleven in the morning. Meaning you still had the rest of the day to suffer in the heat.
The only positive of this day was that once you’d finished helping your friend, you were meeting up with some of the AOMG and H1GHR gang at one of Jay’s many time-share homes that over-looked the sea and had a pool. You’d waited all week for this, and after all the heavy lifting you’d done, you deserved a swim and a nice weekend away.
By time you had gotten back to your apartment a stinking mess, Kiseok had already left, taking your packed bags with him, leaving you with a limited wardrobe to suit the weather. As soon as you had showered, you flicked off a text to Kiseok about the clothing situation, only to receive a message back seconds later.
Tumblr media
You’d dug through the wardrobe as Kiseok had instructed and found exactly what he said you would – the bag of clothes that you’d stolen from the set when you were still bitter about Jay double-booking you and another agency model.
The swimsuit you found in the bag was cream in colour – a body-suit styled one-piece where the lower area was made of a base material which then became mesh the further up your body it travelled, leaving your skin exposed, but protected behind the mesh material. On the chest, travelling from each breast to your navel, were embroidered red roses, covering the necessities. It wasn’t anything too exposing – but the expensive material was definitely eye-catching, that you couldn’t deny. Trying to keep your clothing as light as possible, you threw on the black skirt-dungaree over the top, leaving one of the straps unbuckled to accommodate for the fact that it was slightly too small for you now, before putting on a pair of slides and making your way down to the car.
Tumblr media
By time you’d arrived at the house, the drive-way was packed with cars; it wasn’t a party weekend per say, but whenever the crew got together, there was always that vibe – fun, alcohol and a whole lot of trouble. Still, you loved being with everyone, having felt lucky to every have been able to meet all of the artists through Kiseok to begin with.
Jumping out of the car, you turned to look at the commotion that was coming from the front door of the house, ‘Yah! Y/N’s here!’ Jun-won yelled, his small eyes lighting up with mischief. You threw him a grin and gave him a half hug, along with Won-jae and Je Wook.
‘What are you three up to?’ you ask, fanning yourself as you stood and talked.
‘We’re just going to get some more drinks and food; Kiseok-형님 and Jay-형님 went out earlier to grab a few things as well, but everyone keeps putting in requests for more stuff so we volunteered to go,’ Won-Jae explains shyly while you nod in understanding.
‘Plus, we’re the only ones who haven’t drunken anything yet, so we had no choice,’ Jun-won adds, the older male attempting to keep his gaze solely on your face, and away from the swimsuit that surprised even him.
They left moments later while you continued into the house, where music was playing and the happy laughter could be heard throughout.
Hyun-jung was the first to spot you as you walked through the house, and she stood quickly, an excited smile on her lips, ‘You made it!’
‘언니!’ you greeted happily, hugging her tight as she stood, a red cup in one hand and a cigarette in the other, ‘Have you been well?’
You greeted the others in the room, giving out hugs left and right, before following Hoody out to the pool where Ju-kyung and Sunghwa were playing in the water. The heat was still unbearable, but as soon as your feet were dipped in to the cold water, you were able to focus on Hoody as she talked animatedly about what she’d been doing since you’d last seen each other.
By time Kiseok had arrived back at the house, you were already in the pool, or more so, sitting on Ju-kyung’s shoulders and wrestling with Sunghwa who had forced himself on top of Hoody for this round once they kept losing.
Your laughter was what attracted Kiseok’s attention – he’d seen your car on the drive and knew instantly that you’d be in the pool; it was the one thing you were looking forward to all week. He just didn’t expect to see you on top of Duck, in a see-through swimsuit.
Leaning against the door frame of the panoramic sliding doors, Kiseok watched with a frown and an uneasy feeling within him as you laughed while versing Sunghwa, your eyes lit up in joy. Jay joined him moments later and whistled low, ‘Y/N owns a swimsuit like that?’
‘She stole it from the Yatch mv after you cut her from the scenes,’ Kiseok mutters, his eyes narrowing as Ju-Kyung’s hands gripped at your thighs, sitting a little too high for his comfort.
Jay snorted, ‘I thought I’d seen it somewhere. Tell her she can keep it…And that I’ll buy her more, as long as we get to see her in them more often,’ he teases the older male, knowing how he got when it came to you.
‘Yah!’ Kiseok hisses, glaring at his friend before turning back to see that you’d succeeded in pushing Gray into the water. As you celebrated with Ju-kyung, giving a celebratory hug once you’d come down from his shoulders, Kiseok cleared his throat to make himself known.
As soon as you heard him, you turned and grinned, ‘You’re back!’
‘Mm,’ he hums, eyeing Ju-kyung who was bright pink from your hug, ‘We just got in.’
‘Do you need held unpacking the bags?’ you ask, having cooled off enough to actually volunteer to help around the house.
‘Sure,’ Kiseok shrugs while you step out of the water. His heart thrummed at the sight of you – your legs had already begun to darken from the sun, not by much, but he knew your body like his own and noticed the smaller details. The swim-suit you wore revealed the matching tattoo you’d gotten last year on his birthday, sitting on your spine. He hated this feeling – the possessive, jealous feeling that came around every so often, but he couldn’t help but feel that there were some parts of your body that only he should see; secret places and beauty marks that only he should know.
As you dried yourself off with a towel, too preoccupied with the task at hand, Kiseok took off his short-sleeve button-up and placed it on your shoulders, leaving him in his plain white top, ‘Here, just wear this…Have you got pants?’
You shook your head, not noticing how he had checked over his shoulder to where the younger members of the group who had been watching as you bent over, making sure that they’d all looked away, as you slightly buttoned the shirt, ‘I don’t think I’ll need one…This is pretty much a dress on me…Plus I’ll probably get back in the pool once we’re finished.’
You gave him a peck on the corner of his lips and murmured a thank you for the shirt before walking back into the house happily and unaware of the stares at your legs and your boyfriend’s ever-growing discomfort.
Tumblr media
By time you’d unpacked all the groceries and refilled chip and dip bowls, you were hot again. Kiseok had been quiet as you both worked, nodding every so often but otherwise having no input into the conversation.
It wasn’t unusual for him to be quiet – you were a talker while he was a listener, but even this was too quiet for him.
‘Are you alright?’ you ask Kiseok as he walked you up to the room you were sharing so that you could get the layout of the house.
‘I’m fine.’
‘You sure?’ you ask gently, moving to hold his hand despite the fact that you were clammy.
Rejecting your touch by snatching his hand away, he nods, ‘I said I’m fine.’
‘Oh…Okay,’ you nod in surprise.
His behaviour only worsened as the day wore on – if you weren’t laying on the loungers beside the pool talking to his hoobae, you were in the pool still talking to his hoobae.
He tried to not let it bother him – it had been a while since the kids had last saw you, and a lot of them were fond of you, but Kiseok drew a line at the sight of you helping Won-Jae put on sun-screen lotion.
He’d moved quicker than ever from the air-conned living-room that over-looked the backyard, to you and the younger artist sitting near the end of the pool, ‘Yah!’
‘Why?’ you ask Kiseok casually as you rubbed at Won-Jae’s back. You’d just spent the last twenty minutes growling him for not wearing lotion – he was so pale that the sun would cook him alive without putting on the cream.
He was shy, though, shier than what he let on, and had given you a quiet ‘ok’ seconds before you leapt into action.
Pushing your hands aside, Kiseok threw you a glare before turning to Won-Jae and squeezing an unnecessary amount of cream on to his back, ‘I’ll do it.’
‘Kiseok, I was almost finished,’ you tell him with a roll of your eyes, ‘And you’ve put way too much on!’
Kiseok was not gentle. No, in fact he was almost slapping the lotion on, leaving red marks all over Won-Jae’s back while you tisked in disapproval. Once Won-Jae had bowed and practically scattered away, you looked Kiseok with a frown, ‘Yah, what was that all about?’
‘Nothing,’ Kiseok responded, getting up and walking away before you could say anything else. You were unable to dwell on Kiseok’s behaviour once Hoody called you from the pool and beckoned for you to get in to the water, reminding you of a Siren as she grinned cheekily.
Tumblr media
Soon enough, night-fell and the sun took a lot of the blatant heat with it; Kiseok had been missing in action for a majority of the day, which you’d not had time to pay attention too – it seemed every few minutes, someone else was asking for your time and attention which you happily gave, simply enjoying the fact that you were with friends in such a relaxing environment.
Dressed in an over-sized shirt that you tied at the front, exposing part of your midriff in hopes of it helping you keep cool, and a pair of loose denim shorts, you sat beside Chase and happily chatted away in English; he had been telling you animatedly about the tour they’d all just returned from and was giving you a demonstration of one of the many fan girls who had gotten too close; his hand was holding yours as he continued the story, explaining how the fan had practically held him captive through hand-holding in the alley-way. You were laughing happily at the fan’s antics and the story when Kiseok loudly stated from across the room near the grills, ‘Yah, Y/N, I didn’t bring you here to flirt with my company members.’
The group of people in hearing distance, which was practically everyone, all suddenly became quiet as they looked between a surprised you and a pissed off Kiseok.
Immediately, Chase’s hand dropped yours while Kiseok turned and looked at Jay, laughing obnoxiously, ‘At least Chase got my drift.’
‘Ah, jeez 형,’ Jay grumbled, his voice carrying through the awkward air, ‘Way to make everyone uncomfortable.’
‘It’s not like it’s a lie right?’ Kiseok asks the room as if it were an open discussion, ‘Half of these shameless fools were drooling over her body all day, anyway;’
You scratched at your arm, uncomfortable with being the topic of conversation before putting on a fake smile and murmuring, ‘자기야…Let’s talk somewhere else huh?’
Kiseok didn’t reply, instead he took another swig from his bottle, his eyes remaining on you as you excused yourself from Chase and your conversation, and gingerly walked past the long table where everyone sat, avoiding your gaze, to tug at his arm, ‘Follow me.’
Kiseok rolled his eyes but did as you asked, leaving his bottle at the grill, the conversation picking up once more, only a little quieter and a lot more uncomfortable.
You walked to the bedroom and closed the door once Kiseok had entered, throwing himself down on the edge of the bed and looking up at you lazily, ‘What?’
You were already near the verge of shedding tears – you were embarrassed, not only did he say something inappropriate, not to mention a private issue in front of your friends, but the younger artists who were new to the gang and were already feeling a little out of place.
‘Why did you say that?’ you ask him, upset, ‘I haven’t done anything wrong!’
He scoffed, rolling his eyes and looking the other way, ‘Right.’
‘Tell me,’ you say, tapping at your chest, ‘if you have an issue with something Kiseok; don’t just pick a fight in front of everyone. That’s embarrassing!’
He leaned against his elbows, looking out the window and shook his head in disagreement. Frustrated, you raised your voice, ‘I’m talking to you Kiseok.’
‘Why’d you put lotion on Won-Jae?’ he asks coldly, turning to look at you with narrowed eyes. Incredulous you sputter, ‘He was walking around in 30-degree heat with porcelain skin and that stupid beanie of his on his head! He needed it!’
‘So why did you put it on? Why not let one of the other girls do it?’ he asked, referring to some of the party-girls that Jay had invited during the day time.
It had taken months for Won-Jae to get used to you, yet alone strangers who were at the house for the sole purpose of flaunting themselves. And besides that, you’d practically forced the poor boy to put the lotion on his body, anyway.
‘What about Duck? Why’d you let him touch your body? Or Chase hold your hands?’ Kiseok asked rapidly, his accent coming out thick as he accused, ‘And why the hell did you wear that damn swim-suit? Do you know how many people were staring at you today?’
‘Kiseok, it was a one piece that covered my body even though it was net-mesh,’ you defended. You personally didn’t see anything wrong with the swim-suit. It hid your body better than a two-piece ever would, and it hid away some of the flaws that you believed you had, without you having to cover up completely, ‘And I don’t think what I wear is something you should be deciding!’
Kiseok scoffed, ‘So what? You’re going to keep wearing clothes to get the attention of the kids out there?’
‘I’m not trying to do that at all! It’s hot, Kiseok! I’m not going to cover up for the sake of your jealousy.’
‘This isn’t about my jealousy,’ he argues heatedly, his hands swaying in all directions, ‘I’m just saying that you’re wearing clothes that are giving everyone else a bad image of you! They all probably think you’re easy because you’re walking around half naked like some slut!’
You gaped at him, your mouth in the shape of an O as you took in his words, the tears that had threatened to fall, eventually making their way down your cheeks, ‘I am not a slut, Kiseok.’
Kiseok’s ranting halted as soon as he saw your tears, ‘I didn’t mean it like that!’
‘Whatever, Kiseok,’ you muttered, looking down at your feet, ‘I don’t want to talk about this anymore.’
‘Babe,’ Kiseok called as you left the room, swiping at your tears and unravelling your shirt so that it hung down properly, ‘Come on, you know I didn’t mean that.’
Making your way back down the stairs, you stopped in the hallway and checked yourself in the mirror; your eyes were slightly red-rimmed, but otherwise not too bad despite the slight sting you felt from the tears. Petting your face to flush your cheeks, you frowned at yourself before letting out a sigh and plastering on a small smile.
You re-joined the group moments later and apologized, ‘Sorry about him, he’s just feeling crabby today from all of the heat,’ you excused while everyone sung back choruses of ‘it’s okay,’ and ‘don’t worry about it’, ignoring the obvious fact that you’d cried.
By time Kiseok had come back down the stairs and joined the party again, you were already halfway through your meal. You’d opted to sit beside Hoody and Jay, the two safest options within the large group of people gathered. Kiseok sat at the head of the table, not far from Jay, his eyes constantly wandering back to you as you talked quietly with Hoody, who threw him occasional glares.
As you sat and cut your steak, Kiseok asked hesitantly, ‘Baby, can you please pass me the salt.’
The table continued their conversation but were obviously aware of the tension between you and Kiseok. Sighing, you got out of your chair and grabbed the salt shakers from further down the table before walking them back to Kiseok and placing them in front of him, ‘Here.’
Gouging your mood and the fact that he’d acted like an ass, Kiseok sighed knowing he’d upset you and it would be a long night before you were ready to let him grovel, yet along properly talk and apologize to you. Giving his thanks, you nodded stiffly in return before walking back to your seat; Kiseok didn’t fail to miss the fact that you’d loosened your shirt, and instead of feeling relieved, he felt nothing but guilt.
Tumblr media
You gave Kiseok the cold shoulder all night.
If you were sitting at the pool edge, talking to some of the guys who’d gotten back into the pool after dinner, and he’d join you, you’d quickly make your excuses and get up, finding another group to talk to.
Jay, Chase and Hoody observed in amazement as they watched from the table they sat at, all with beers in their hand, ‘Look at that fool, he’s following her around like a lost puppy.’
‘That’s because he acted like an ass,’ Hoody tells the two men with confidence, ‘He made her cry, and now he feels bad.’
‘Did Y/N tell you that?’ Jay asks in wonder at her insight.
Hoody rolled her eyes, ‘You’re not that observant of the little details for someone who does a lot of the hiring for our label.’
Jay brushed off the comment as Hoody continued, ‘She had red eyes when she came out; there’s only two things that give you red eyes like that, and we all know that Y/N isn’t a smoker. Serves Kiseok-형님 right anyway. Our Y/N’s an angel. Everyone here has a lot of time for her – he’s lucky she even deals with all of his shit.’
The trio couldn’t help but agree with that. They’d witnessed the relationship between you and Kiseok go through thick and thin, and you had always remained as his strong back bone and constant support; you were a rarity in their world.
Tumblr media
It was late when you found yourself in the bedroom, freshly showered and ready for bed. You’d excused yourself while the party was in full swing, the effects of your busy day hitting you at once as it neared one in the morning.
While you’d showered, Kiseok had followed you up to the room, and was sitting on the edge of the bed, his head hung low as he sulked at your ignoring of him.
He’d prefer you yelling and screaming at him than pretending he didn’t exist. Rubbing his face tiredly he sighed regretfully at his behaviour, before looking up at you hopefully as you re-entered the room wrapped in a towel.
Ignoring Kiseok, you dried yourself before pulling on a loose shirt and underwear; drying your hair with the towel and turning on the fan so that you were cool even during the night, you continued to move around the room, prepping yourself to sleep. As you walked past Kiseok for the millionth time, he quickly snatched at you and pulled you into his lap, ‘Yah…Let’s stop this now, huh?’
You tried to push him away, only for him to hold you tighter, locking you in his embrace.
‘Get off,’ you grumbled, ‘It’s too hot.’
‘I’m sorry about what I said earlier. I don’t think you’re a slut, or any other nasty name like that. I don’t.’
You kept trying to escape his touch, not wanting a bar of it. Still, he held you, burying his face into the crook of your neck, ‘I was being stupid all day, and let my jealousy get the best of me. I know you’d never do what I said you were doing, and that I was just being stupid.’
He didn’t let you respond, instead he held you lovingly and rocked slightly, ‘And I know that I shouldn’t tell you how to dress, or what you should do with your body. I’m just not used to all of these guys being around you – especially not the younger ones…On top of that, your legs looked so nice today, and everyone was staring…’
You gave him an annoyed look to which he smiled sheepishly, ‘But I still shouldn’t have said all of that in front of the group. I’m sorry for embarrassing you, and for talking to you like I did earlier.’
You sighed and muttered, ‘Kiseok, I’m not here to impress anyone. I’m here because it’s the hottest summer since 1997 and I really wanted to swim. I used what was available to me at the time, which if you think about it – without the ridiculous jealousy and pettiness – you’ll see is actually a modest swimsuit.’
As you spoke, Kiseok nodded in agreement while staring at your lips, making you wonder if he was even listening at all. Still you continued.
‘–And, I love Won-Jae, but like a mother hen. He needs protecting!’ you defended, having ranted for the last three minutes about all the things Kiseok did wrong. Just as you opened your mouth to keep up the momentum of your rant, Kiseok smiled and kissed your lips gently, halting any chance of a conversation.
‘You talk too much,’ he mumbles against your lips a moment later. He planted several more kisses on your face before releasing you. You stood and sighed, giving up on being angry with him as he smiled happily up at you – it was just too hard to resist him.
‘Apologize to Chase tomorrow, and baby Won-Jae too,’ you say as you walk to your side of the bed and sit on the edge while Kiseok sprawled in the centre of the bed, his hand scratching at your back soothingly.
‘I will.’
‘And I’m going to wear another bathing suit tomorrow, and you better not say shit about it,’ you warn him, looking over your shoulder to where he was laying, propped on one elbow while the other stayed in contact with your body.
‘Fine.’
‘And you better not speak to me like you did today ever again, or else you’re dead-meat,’ you warn him, though the threat came out gentle.
‘I won’t. I promise.’
You nodded in satisfaction before laying back on the bed, only to have Kiseok lace his arms around your body and cling to you – his usual reaction to whenever you fought and made up, was to force you to stay by his side until he felt reassured that you guys were okay. Usually it was okay, but the warm summer’s night breeze left no room for his cuddles.
‘Yah,’ you groan moments later having just escaped his clutches only to be pulled back in, ‘It’s too hot for this. I’m going to start sweating again.’
‘You’ll be sweating soon anyway,’ he says suggestively, kissing at the base of your neck.
‘Fat chance,’ you tell him with an eyeroll, heaving him away while he pouted, attempting to crawl back into your personal bubble while your held him back with your hand, ‘Go and shower, you stink!’
‘Stink of love for you baby, come here,’
‘You’re so gross!’ you squeal as he managed to pull you into another crushing hug and blowing a raspberry into your neck, ‘Yah! Get lost!’
Laughing, Kiseok lay on top of you, his nose brushing yours while he laced his fingers through your own, ‘I really am sorry about earlier. I don’t like making you feel bad, baby.’
‘I know you are and I know you don’t,’ you murmur as he gave a sad smile, the playfulness gone.
You stroked his face gently while he leaned into your embrace, his lips kissing the palm of your hand tenderly and murmured, ‘I’m so lucky to have you.’
‘You’re not wrong,’ you respond with a smile, giving him a quick kiss before shoving him off and cutting away the sad tension as you told him sternly, ‘Now go shower!’
Nodding, Kiseok did as you said; and on return, found you fast asleep, one leg sticking outside of the sheet you had used to substitute a blanket, and your arm hugging a pillow to your chest. Smiling at the sight, he shook his head and walked into the wardrobe to get changed, only to halt in surprise and dread as his eyes took in the outfits you’d prepared for tomorrow.
More so, the swim-suit made up of small triangular pieces and bits of string that made today’s swimsuit look like a nun’s gown.
‘God damn it,’ he cursed to himself with a shake of his head, ‘You should have just been grateful for what she wore today,’ he says woefully as he glares at the clothing with hate, ‘Aish.’

what to do
↬ summary: sometimes you wonder just how close he really is with his ex.
↬ genre: fluff / slight angst
↬ pairing: simon dominic/jung kiseok x reader
↬ word count: 4.8k
a/n: oops this is another older work that i wrote some time last year. i swear i’m working on things, there’s just been a lot going on with work and life. :/ i hope you can enjoy this in the meantime!
There were quite a few things you valued in Jung Kiseok. Despite all his bravado, he was a gentleman through and through, always making you feel loved and cared for. He knew when to be serious, and when you needed some of his ridiculous antics to cheer you able. He was able to read your emotions almost better than you yourself could at times. He was dedicated, hard-working, and someone you were proud to stand next to, to support and be supported by.
The one thing you appreciated the most, though, was his “the past is in the past” mentality. You botch came from fairly different backgrounds, but still carried things with you you’d rather forget. You accepted your baggage as part of you, but tried to let it lie and enjoy the present, and look to the future. And Kiseok was right there with you.
Which was why when he brought up the past one particular night, you couldn’t help but be shaken in the worst way.
Before you’d begun dating, there had been a fair amount of tension between you, Kiseok, and his now-ex-girlfriend. Jukyung had introduced you to Kiseok while they were still dating, and she had disliked you almost immediately. As you and Kiseok grew closer, even though you’d set firm boundaries as friends, her animosity had only grown.
Things came to a head after a show some time later. You had been invited personally by almost everyone at AOMG, including Kiseok, and had happily attended to support and cheer on your friends. But when Kiseok’s girlfriend found you backstage, the jovial atmosphere came to a burning crash around all your ears.
“What the hell, Kiseok?” She shrieked, looking for all the world like a gladiator about to do battle. You exchanged looks with the rest of AOMG as Kiseok rose from his place between you and Gray on the couch to greet her.
“Hey babe,” he soothed, reaching for her hands. She flinched away, eyes fixed accusingly on you. “What’s wrong? Bad day at work?”
“What the- no, Kiseok, what the fuck is she doing here?” All eyes swiveled to you as she jabbed a manicured nail in your direction. Uh oh.
“I was invited, Hye Mi,” you replied slowly, watching her face carefully. The others nodded in silent agreement.
“Bullshit. Why would you get invited when I didn’t even know about this?” Everything went still, and you could’ve sworn the temperature dropped about ten degrees. Now, everyone was staring at Kiseok, who seemed so on edge he might just crack.
“Babe, I told you weeks ago, remember?” He tried. “You said you wouldn’t be able to take the night off. So I didn’t bring it up again.” Silence for a few tense moments, then she turned her murderous gaze on him.
“Jung Kiseok,” she said slowly, voice ice cold, “are you cheating on me with that wallflower skank?” Utter silence again, so thick it’d have taken a jackhammer to break it. All of you watched as Kiseok tried to pull himself together.
“What did you say?” He asked, voice that not-quite-a-whisper you recognized as the warning sign of an imminent storm. But it was Hye Mi and not him who exploded.
“I asked if you’re fucking cheating on me with that whore ‘friend’ of yours,” she screamed, spitting the word “friend” out like it was some kind of vile curse. Flinching, you sunk back into the couch next to Seunghwa, who offered you a small measure of consolation by patting your shoulder. You watched Kiseok veritably bristle as he turned to face her.
“Are you seriously on this again? For the last time, she’s just my friend. Everyone here asked her to come tonight. I can’t believe we’re having this argument again! She’s my friend, all of ours, and she came to support us. End of discussion!”
“Unbelievable! You think I’m stupid? You knew I couldn’t come so you invited her to the show for a little tryst! And she’s everyone’s friend, huh? What, do you guys take turns? I always thought you were unusually close for a company.” Your stomach twisted uncomfortably with every word she spoke, making you too nauseous to even try and defend yourself. Was she for real? No one else dared to speak, not even Jay and Jukyung who looked more ready to throw down than you had ever seen them.
The shouting match continued for several more minutes, accusations and curses flying back and forth. It was almost impossible to tell they’d been happily dating just the other night. You watched with the other as the chaos unfolded, eyes following the discussion like some sort of dramatic tennis match in a way that was almost comical. You’d lost track of the subject for the most part until things turned back to Kiseok.
“Dammit, Hye Mi, that’s it! Get the fuck out, it’s over!” Time seemed to freeze, everything coming to a standstill once more. Even Hyemi was gaping at him, struck dumb in the midst of a reply by the harsh words.
“Is that so?” She finally asked after a few long moments of awkward silence. Kiseok nodded, face somber.
“Yeah. It is.” Another beat as everyone waited on bated breath for her reaction. At last, she gave him a curt nod.
“Alright then.” Hefting her bag, Hyemi tossed her hair over one shoulder, shot you one last venomous glare, and disappeared.
You never saw her again after that, and at first you were surprised (you had rather expected her to try and exact some twisted form of revenge on you), but mostly you were relieved. She had made your life into a pretty miserable hell, and now you were finally free from her insanity.
You were also free to pursue Kiseok, once you came to the realization that you had fallen for the charismatic rapper. That alone took several months to figure out, and it made you more unsure than happy. How would it look if, after everything that had happened, you were to start dating Kiseok? Assuming, of course, he had any romantic interest in you at all.
So for several more months, you danced awkwardly around each other, you uncertain and afraid, while he was confused and let you have your space. That is, until he cornered you at the studio and begged to know what was going on. The two of you had been thick as thieves before, but you’d practically cut him out of your life as you tried to deal with your own seesawing emotions. And of course your big mouth just had to take off running and blurt out the most awkward confession of all time. But to your surprise, rather than looking disgusted or weirded out like you had feared, the sunniest smile you’d seen in a long time split Kiseok’s face as he gathered you into a hug that threatened to turn your bones to dust. And one you had missed in the time you’d spent tiptoeing around him.
“Is that all?” He managed around the relieved laughter rumbling through his chest and into you. “Thank God, I thought I was the only one!”
Things were tentative and awkward at first, unsure how your friends would feel about your relationship. But it quickly became abundantly clear that there was nothing for approval you, and you let your worries about the past melt away, content to forget them and move forward.
Which brought you to the present. You were at your apartment with Kiseok, shimmying into a new dress for some party or another he had to make an appearance at. Having just come from a dinner Jay had hosted just for the AOMG crew, he was reclined unhelpfully on your bed, trying to sober up while you fixed your makeup.
“Babe, can you zip me up?” You called, holding the dress closed as you stepped out of the bathroom. With a groan, he sat up, stopping short at the sight of you. The unreadable look on his face made your stomach stir nervously. “What is it?”
“Nothing,” he murmured after a moment. “You look great. Come here.” You obeyed, standing in front of him and holding your hair aside as he took hold of the zipper. Normally his fingers sliding across your skin like this gave you pleasant chills. But all you felt was an anxious shift to your insides. Something was off.
You managed to dismiss Kiseok’s strange behavior as the result of the alcohol he’d consumed earlier, and put forth your best smile as you walked into the party. For a while you were about to put aside the nagging feelings that something was wrong with your boyfriend - a feeling that, if you were being honest, you’d felt lurking for a while. The pair of you circled the party, greeting friends and strangers alike, and even if it was all in the name of social etiquette and nothing more, you were still able to enjoy yourself..
Nothing good lasts forever, though.
When exchanging inane pleasantries had become too much, the two of you collapsed into a booth at the club. You sighed with relief, relaxing into Kiseok’s side as his arm wound around your waist.
“Mr. Min seems like a very nice guy, but if I have to hear that story about his college graduation one more time, I think I’ll have to drown myself in cosmos,” you said with a giggle. Kiseok hummed his agreement. When the noise was all the comment you received, you glanced up at him. What you saw made your stomach twist. He was wearing the same strange look he’d had at your place just a few hours ago. A sudden anxiety washed over you, so strong you almost felt you might regurgitate your drinks from the night.
“I brought Hyemi here once,” he said eventually, and your stomach dropped from your throat through the floor.
“O-oh. Is that so?” you managed.
“Yeah.” His gaze was directed over you into the crowded club. It almost seemed that he wasn’t seeing your friends and fellow partygoers, but whatever memory had taken hold of him. “It was our one year anniversary. So I rented out the place, invited all our friends to surprise her.” You vaguely recalled Kiseok inviting you to the event all those years ago, and the vehemence with which you’d refused, knowing better than to show up to Hyemi’s one year anniversary party. Or just in her presence at all.
“I remember you talking about,” you said slowly, trying to hide your anxiety over his bringing this up now of all times. “Did she throw a tantrum because you forgot something?” At this, and the edge of contempt that had leaked into your voice, he finally looked your way. Confusion and was that offense in his eyes, making your stomach ache worse.
“No,” he said firmly, almost like a reprimand. “She was so happy, she didn’t stop smiling the whole night. She always did have a beautiful smile…” He looked at you and frowned again. “Why would you say something like that about her?” You let your mouth drop open as you sat up to gape at him.
“Are you kidding me? Kiesok, after all the shit she said and did to me, I think I’m allowed.” You sighed. “I don’t want to talk about this anymore. Let’s go dance.” As you stood, you noticed Kiseok didn’t make a single move to follow, frown still fixed on you. “What now?”
“Hyemi was right.” You froze, blood turned to ice by those three words.
“About what?” You hedged.
“She said you were probably insecure about us, that you might not fully trust me after everything. Seems she was right.” If you had been frozen before, you were numb to the core now. Kiseok had always been blunt, never one to hide his true thoughts, not even where you were concerned. Usually, you were grateful for his honesty, but this…
“When did she say that?” Silence, and a new thought you had been fighting back reared it’s head. “Jung Kiseok, did you talk to Hyemi recently?”
“I didn’t meet up with her on purpose if that’s what you mean,” he defended. “I was at a cafe during a break last week, and ran into her. That’s all.”
“Doesn’t sound like that’s all that happened,” you muttered, trying not to sound too hurt.
“Well, she asked to talk, said she wanted to apologize for everything.” You scoffed.
“And you let her?”
“Jagi, nothing happened.” It was now that you heard the slur of alcohol in his voice, remembered that now was probably not the time for this conversation, but nothing could make a liar out of your boyfriend. Something had happened with that woman, and if you didn’t ask him now, you would never have the courage again.
“Kiseok. What did she say? Tell me the truth. Please.” Your voice was so quiet, if he hadn’t been sitting so close, he could’ve missed your words. But even in his inebriated state, he must have picked up on the strained look on your face. So he sighed, running a hand through his hair and looking anywhere but you.
“She walked by the table I was at, stopped. Asked if we could talk about what happened between us, said that was it. So I said okay, figured I could let her get it out because she needed closure, I don’t know. We talked for a little while, about what happened, about why I broke things off with her. About us.” He glanced at you, then away. “She wasn’t always so bad you know. When we started dating, she was sweet and fun to be with. She was like that again that day. Said she was just crazy, because she liked me a lot and was worried about you getting between us.” You listened in disbelief to his words, a knot of worry you always kept carefully tucked away rising up to tie up your insides. You weren’t sure what you felt, but you knew it wasn’t good.
“If she was so good,” you heard yourself saying, but you couldn’t stop the words, “maybe you should just go back to her.” And you snatched your purse, before shoving your way out of the club.
For the next few days, you completely ignored all communications from Kiseok, or anyone else in AOMG for that matter. You knew it was probably ridiculous, and perhaps more than a little childish, but you couldn’t help it. Ever since that night at the party, you had been overwhelmed by some of the darker thoughts you usually filed to the back of your mind.
You hated admitting that anything Hyemi might have said to Kiseok was true, but there was no denying you were insecure about a lot of things. When you had started dating him, you couldn’t fight back the thoughts and worries that maybe he still liked Hyemi. They’d dated for quite a while, after all, and you had seen the way he looked at her when they weren’t arguing. He had always assured you he’d been over her for a while, that things were done and he only cared about you now. And you hadn’t been so sure.
The feeling that something had been off with Kiseok had been bothering you for weeks before the incident at the club. He had been even busier than usual, slower to reply to your messages and texts, and more absent than he’d ever been. You knew his life was a demanding one, and that it often meant you didn’t have as much time together as you would’ve liked, but even when he was home, it felt like he wasn’t. You hadn’t been able to shake the feeling that something was off, something was wrong. And now you couldn’t get rid of the thought that perhaps he still loved Hyemi. You didn’t doubt that Kiseok held affection for you, but it seemed what he felt for her might run deeper, that he might miss her more than he was letting on.
That it might be enough to make him leave again, and go back to her.
And maybe that was for the best. If he was just going to be miserable and miss her underneath it all, wouldn’t it be better to just end things now rather than let the charade continue?
Before you could get any further into your downward spiral, there was a knock on your apartment’s door. Jerking up from your couch where you’d been lounging, you stared at the door from down the front hall. Who the hell would be at your house at this time in the evening? If it was Kiseok, you’d just ignore him. Again.
With a sigh, you pulled yourself up and walked cautiously toward the door. A peek through the eyehole revealed not your boyfriend, but his labelmate and your friend, Seunghwa. It was rare to see the reclusive producer out of his natural studio habitat, or at anything other than an AOMG event. If he had bothered coming all the way to your apartment, something must be up. You contemplated ignoring him like you’d planned to do anyway, but what Seunghwa actually done to you? The worst he could do was try to convince you to talk to Kiseok, but you could just smile and nod your way through that and then do nothing. Great plan.
Seunghwa looked up when the door opened to reveal you in sweats and a hoodie, messy hair in a ponytail. Definitely not standard gear for you. You were suddenly incredibly conscious of your outfit as his critical eyes swept over you. It wasn’t like you’d been expecting visitors.
“Um, hi,” you finally blurted, just to break the silence. He met your eyes then, face a mixture of concern and determination.
“__, can I come in? We need to talk.” You opened your mouth, about to object and turn him away, then sighed again. He didn’t deserve to be treated like you’d planned to treat Kiseok. So you stepped aside and let him come in. You tried not to be offended with the way his eyes looked over your apartment, like he’d expected to find something worse than its nearly spotless interior.
“So, why do we need to talk?” You asked, wasting no time getting straight to the point. You didn’t miss how he rolled his eyes as he joined you on the couch.
“__, you’ve been ignoring everyone since the night you walked out on Kiseok at the club. We’re worried about you.” He hesitated. “He is too, you know.” You bristled.
“Is that what this is about? He sent you over here to check on me and report back, right? Well you can tell him I’m doing just damn fine without him, and it’s not any of his business.” Seunghwa shook his head.
“You always did like jumping to conclusions. It’s a bad habit.” You stuck your tongue out but said nothing, but at least it got him to lose the frown for a smile. “Like I said, you’ve ignored everyone. Including me. I just wanted to make sure you aren’t dead.” You shifted on the couch, curling in on yourself a little more, away from him.
“Well, you’ve clearly seen that I’m doing fine. So you can go now,” you told him stiffly. This earned you another brotherly sigh from him.
“Sure, you’re not dead, but I don’t think you’re ‘doing fine’ either. __ what happened that night? You’ve had your fair share of deserved outbursts, but you were never one for dramatics like that.” You gave him silence in exchange for his concern, contemplating your options. If it was anyone else, you probably would’ve told them to fuck the fuck off, but it was Seunghwa. In the years you’d known each other, the two of you had become almost as close as you and Kiseok. He was the one person you trusted more than your supposed lover. Even if you told him what had really been on your mind, and he told Kiseok, what would you be saying that you wouldn’t to Kiseok? You were just too chicken to say it to his face. So you took a deep breath, and told him everything.
Seunghwa was quiet as you poured out your heart. You told him everything, from how you’d felt at the start of your relationship with Kiseok, how the feelings had lingered but been ignored, how they’d risen to haunt you again recently, all the way to what had happened at the club that night. By the end you were fighting down tears, and doing anything but looking at him.
“I don’t want to break up with him, Seunghwa,” you admitted finally, voice hoarse with barely concealed sorrow. You twisted the hem of your sweatshirt nervously between your fingers, afraid of his judgement, of your feelings, of the future - of everything. “I love him, I really do. But if he still loves her more, if she’s what would make him happy… How can I hold him back from that? How could I have been doing that this whole time?” Your fingers stilled as Seunghwa covered them with his own. You let him, silently welcoming his gesture of comfort.
“I understand why you’re feeling like this. Kiseok and Hyemi were together for a while. But I think you might be overthinking this. He loves you too, you know. He’s just one of the worst people I’ve ever met at showing it. People probably think you’re dating Hyuk Woo just because he’s more openly affectionate with you than Kiseok.” You couldn’t help a small giggle at that. It dissolved quickly though, erased by the thoughts that had been circling your head the last few days. You gave Seunghwa’s hand a squeeze before pulling away.
“Maybe I am. But… I don’t know what to think, what to do. I’m not ready to talk to him, Seunghwa. I’m sorry.” Your friend gave you a comforting smile and this time he squeezed your shoulder.
“That’s okay. I’m glad you still feel okay talking to me at least. It’s not good to keep all these things to yourself, you know?” You nodded quietly. “Good. I gotta head back, but I’m glad to know you’re still hanging on. I’ll bring you some take out or something later if you’re still up when I get done, okay?”
“Sure. Thanks Seunghwa.” Then with a last smile, he was gone out your door, leaving you again with the old thoughts and the new, and even more confusion than you’d had before.
It was almost a full week before you heard from anyone at AOMG again. Seunghwa had been the only one to keep up any sort of contact, though it was sporadic at best. You knew from him that the guys were getting ready to do some sort of schedule stuff again, and things were hectic. Even so, you appreciated his words of assurance and encouragement when you could get them. You still weren’t sure you were ready to talk to Kiseok about it all, but you were getting there.
But it seemed Seunghwa had his own opinions about that.
One night, as you were stumbling up the stairs to your door after a night out with your girlfriends, you were surprised to find your door unlocked. The key you normally kept hidden atop the doorframe was sitting inside on the table by the door, and that set your heart racing. The idea that you had forgotten to lock it was one thing, but the key meant someone had come in on purpose. And they could be trying to rob you, and that meant the possibility they were armed.
If they’re trying to take anything, I’ll just give it to them, you decided as you crept toward your living room. And then stopped cold upon seeing just who your late night guest was.
“Kiseok?” You asked in disbelief. “What are you doing here?” The man in question stood from where he’d been sitting on the edge of your couch. He looked worse for wear. Had he been sleeping in the studio again? Was he eating okay? You pushed the questions away as he took a few tentative steps toward you.
“__,” he started softly, while you stared at him like a deer in headlights, “Seunghwa told me what you said to him the other night.” You shifted uneasily. You’d had a feeling that might happen.
“Oh,” you said intelligently. “That, uh, that was kind of a while ago.”
“I know, I’m sorry. I wanted to come talk to you sooner, but he told me to give you a few days. And I wasn’t even sure what I would say to you, especially since you seemed so determined to forget I existed.” Your stomach swirled guiltily at that, at the desperate edge to his voice.
“You don’t have to say anything, really. Just tell me what’s going to happen to us.” You weren’t quite sure why those were the words to come out of your mouth, but as you said them, you knew they were the right ones. You were tired of running in circles by yourself trying to figure things out, but you didn’t really want to have a long talk with him about it. You just wanted a clear answer. Yes or no, thank you, and then you’d deal with the consequences. Kiseok slipped his hand under your chin and tilted your face so he could look you in the eye.
“‘What’s going to happen to us’? Why, do you think we’re going to break up?” Your gaze shifted away from him and he tightened his grip a fraction. “Look at me, __. Is that what you think? What you want?” He swallowed. “Do you want to break up with me?”
“N-no,” you finally admitted, voice barely audible even in the stillness of your living room. “Why the hell would I ever want to break up with you?” He sighed, and it almost sounded relieved.
“Good. Because we’re not breaking up, alright?” Your heart lightened a little at his words and you nodded as much as his hold on your face allowed. He released it to take hold of your hand and lead you to the couch. “Alright, let’s talk. What made you think I’d be breaking up with you?” Your bottom lip secured itself between your teeth as you thought about your answer.
“Hyemi.” His eyebrows rose at that, and you studied your hands as you searched for the words to elaborate without making either of you sound like a jerk. “I thought - I-I have thought for a while that you might still like her. It’s stupid, I know,” you assured as he opened his mouth to object. “But you’ve been so distant lately, and then suddenly you told me you’d met her at that cafe and kept talking about how much of a good person she used to be and whatever...” You trailed off with a sigh. “It just seemed like maybe you’d realized you still loved her, and that being with me was a mistake. That’s all.”
“Jagi,” Kiseok started after a few moments of silence that had your stomach doing flips Jay would be proud of, “I will always have some kind of fondness for Hyemi.” Your gaze darted to his, incredulous. “Not like that. The kind of fondness you have for something good you used to have. Like when you look back at school memories, you know? It’s a part of your life, and there were good times, but you’re glad it’s over. You’ve moved on, grown past it, and now it’s time for something new. It’s time to face the future.” He took your hands again, and looked you seriously in the eye. “I love you. Yeah, I loved Hyemi once too, but that’s the past. It’s done, and it’s gone. You don’t ever have to worry about that, okay?”
“Okay,” you managed, smiling shakily. Sighing heavily, he tugged you closer until he could pull you tight against him.
“I’m sorry I made you worry.” You leaned up and kissed his cheek.
“I’m sorry I doubted you,” you whispered. He grinned and placed a soft kiss against your lips.
“You’re allowed to have whatever feelings you want. Just promise me that next time you have them, you’ll talk to me about it, okay? I mean Seunghwa is great, but I’m your boyfriend. I want you to be able to talk to me about stuff, too.”
“What if you’re in the studio?” You giggled at the thoughtful expression on his face as he pretended to think it over. It faltered slightly when you slapped his arm playfully. “Yah, Jung Kiseok!”
“I’m just teasing, baby. Please, even if I’m in the studio, come talk to me, okay?” You wrapped your arms around him, nodding against his chest.
“I promise I will,” you answered obediently.
The past might be the past, but it was part of you both. And sometimes that meant you had to turn back to face it. But at least you would have Kiseok with you to get through it. At least now, you knew what to do when the ghosts came back to haunt you.

Take A Chance V
Simon Dominic (AOMG) x Y/N (Reader) Genre: Romance / Angst Count: 3k+ Warnings: None Rating: Mature (suggestive, swearing) Summary: Who would’ve thought a one night stand with Simon D would turn into FWB? It only gets more complicated when you developed feelings, against your better judgement.
Tumblr media
Chapter One. | Chapter Two. | Chapter Three. | Chapter Four. | Chapter Five. | Chapter Six. | Chapter Seven. |
Collapsing on your bed, you sighed at how cold it really was on the comforter. Cookie was only enough to sleep on her own but on rainy nights like this she would wonder into your room and cuddle you into the morning time. You felt that ache in your chest grow just a little bit.
She had only been gone not even twenty-four hours. They had touched down a few hours ago and had called to let you know that they made it home safely.
Nicky had come over to keep you company and she had dragged you to the salon so you two could get your nails done as a sort of pick me up. It did little to improve your mood but you were thankful to have such a thoughtful best friend.
You had texted Kiseok in the afternoon but hadn’t heard from him since yesterday. You didn’t think much of it, especially since he said he was ridiculously busy these past few days with the new track they were working on.
You didn’t know if it was a good idea to tell him you had bumped into Jay Park either. He’d be curious as to where and then you’d have to explain it was the airport and then it was likely to snowball into why you were there. You weren’t too sure you wanted to get into all of that when you two were just FWB at this point. You didn’t exactly want to lie either so it might be better to just leave it be. It was doubtful that Jay would go back and tell him since he didn’t even know who you were in the first place.
There wasn’t much for you to worry about.
Then why was your stomach in knots just thinking about it for some reason?
Nicky was in the bathroom, taking a shower since she had invited herself to sleep over tonight. Work tomorrow was going to drag on, you were sure of it. You sighed.
A few minutes later, Nicky emerged, steam chasing her out of the room. She was drying her hair with a towel as she eyed your prone form. “How about we go out to dinner, hm? We can go to Shima’s, my treat,” the blonde coaxed you.
Shima’s was one of your favorite steakhouses in all of Seoul at the moment and she was the one to introduce you to it. One of her dates a few months ago had taken here there and she had fallen in love with their shrimp, so naturally, you were forced to accompany her when she wanted to go again.
It didn’t take you long to agree and the two of you spent about fifteen minutes getting ready. Your sweater and shorts wasn’t going to cut it there so you tossed on a casual grey long-sleeved dress that cut at your thighs and grabbed your purse from the couch. Nicky came out a few seconds after you finished tying your heels in a grey skirt and pink sweater, giggling that you two matched perfectly.
You drove there in about twenty minutes and valeted the car. When you were seated, Nicole noticed you had glanced at your phone ten times in the span of five minutes.
She huffed, straight hair blowing with the air. “Waiting on Lover Boy to text you back?”
You would’ve glared if you weren’t already feeling down in the dumps since Cookie left. It would’ve been nice to spend the night with Kiseok to distract you from feeling sad but you understood he couldn’t always come at your beck and call.
Sighing, you left it sitting on the table to focus on your best friend. “He’s busy.”
Her blue eyes narrowed, “You look like a school girl pinning after the hot jock.”
When you didn’t reply, only roll your eyes at the horrible analogy and sip your water, Nicky pouted. “___, remember this is a FWB. You can’t catch feelings for him.”
Putting the glass down, you stuck your tongue out at her. Through the weeks, you had updated her without giving away too much details. She knew about the texts messages and the sweet things Kiseok would do for you. She knew all the times he had vented and let you vent to him, how many times he made you laugh until you had tears in your eyes or how many times you noticed how different his kisses were from the first time. She watched you develop feelings for this man, even though she tried to warn you against it.
Gesturing for the waiter, Nicky ordered a drink for herself, flashing her ID. When you gave her a look, she simply sat back and said, “Tell me when you realized you liked him.”
You paused and gulped without meaning to. It was so gradual that you couldn’t pin point a particular event or day. Mulling over your answer in your head, you had to turn away from her piercing stare.
Was it when he flashed you a smile when he greeted you? Was it when he was sleeping soundly next to you? Was it when he wrapped his entire body around yours and snuggled into you? The time he was tipsy and told you that the best sleep he’s gotten in years was when he was next to you? When he called you before you left for work and told you to bring a umbrella because the forecast said it was going to rain in the city your company building was? The gentle way he handled you after fucking you in the hallway of your home because he just couldn’t wait the two seconds it would’ve taken to get to the bedroom? How he made sure to ask how you were doing and actually cared when you said you had a bad day?
You weren’t sure. Probably somewhere in between all of that.
“I wasn’t just one particular thing. It was all of them.”
You didn’t know what reaction you were expecting, but it wasn’t the one Nicole gave you just now. Her blank face broke into a soft smile, eyes sparkling at you. “You’re in love.”
The water that was previously going down your throat threatened to come back up as you choked on what she said. The waiter came back at just that moment and handed Nicky her drink before asking if you were alright.
Waving the poor guy off, you nodded and glared at her smiling face. When he left, you made sure to kick her under the table. Her smile didn’t leave her face. “You can’t just say shit like that. I don’t...I don’t love him.”
Sipping her rum and coke, aqua eyes scanned you up and down. “You can lie to everyone else, even yourself, but not to me. I can read you like a book and this chapter is interesting as hell.”
Finally, you laughed at that and she smiled fondly at you. It felt good to hear that laugh again after days of sad eyes and frowns. Dinner went by well after that. You tried to steer the conversation away from Lover Boy but Nicky had a way of circling the conversation back. It was an easy task for her, since you kept checking your phone every minute. During dessert, she had even groaned and said to just call him already which you denied immediately.
Currently, you were waiting at the table for her to get back from the restroom when the waiter came by to bring back her credit card. You took it with a smile to the man, but noticed his attention was at the door. His jaw was hanging slightly and he looked star-stuck.
“Thank-...Oh my god, that’s Simon Dominic,” he whispered in an almost panic.
You felt your heart beat increase to an unhealthy speed. Without thinking much about it, you felt your head snap in the direction of the front door with a smile on your face. What a small world that he would be here the same night you were!
You felt your blood turn to ice in your veins when your eyes finally landed on him and the smile you had slipped.
That was indeed, Jung Kiseok, dressed handsomely in a dark button down and equally dark pants. He was as gorgeous as ever, hair pushed back messily from his face as he chatted the beautiful woman on his arm. She had her head thrown back in laughter at something he said, crimson red dress wrapped tightly like she was a damn Christmas present. Her hair tumbled down and he lifted a hand to push it from her face to behind her ear and you swear you felt the world spin at that moment. It wasn’t that long ago that he did the same gesture to you...
It wasn’t that long ago that he looked at you like that - like you were the most interesting piece of art he’d ever seen.
You hadn’t realized you were holding your breath until Nicky came up to the table, looking between you and the waiter. “What are y’all sta-...Oh my fucking God. That’s...”
Her voice, unsure and panicky, snapped you out of your trance. Quickly, you scrambled to collect your things, jaw clenching as the initial shock wore off and in it’s place - rage. You threw her card in your purse along with your phones and grabbed her hand. “Let’s get the hell out of here. Now.”
Hearing the shake in your normally confident voice, she was silent as you two made your way to the door. Thankfully, the hostess was just about to usher them to a table. You wouldn’t even have to cross paths with him.
Until the waitress was stopped by her other coworker who whispered something to her. They halted right in your path to the door.
Nicky saw how your steps faltered and eventually came to a halt. “Come, let’s go this w-”
“___. Fancy seeing you here.”
‘Shit,’ She thought, feeling how your fingers trembled in her grip. Looking back up, Kiseok was staring you down with a hard look in his eyes.
Taking a deep breath, you put on a brave face and forced your eyes to match his intensity. He wasn’t expecting you to look at him like that, if the raised eyebrow was anything to go by.
“Kiseok. I didn’t know you had a girlfriend,” you replied, lips tight as they spread in a fake smile.
The girl was none the wiser and smiled widely at you before tightening her grip on his arm. “I’m Yoo Nayoung. Are you two friends?”
Your eyes zeroed in on the contact but moved quickly back to his expressionless face. Something hot boiled in your chest when he hadn’t denied it. He made no move to correct her, instead, tilted his head and gave you a cold once over.
“I’m ___ -”
“We’re just acquaintances.”
Still oblivious to the tension around her, Nayoung nodded, “Either way, it’s nice to meet you.” She glanced down to your hand in Nicky’s and smiled. “Are you two also on a date? That is so cute.”
Bless her heart.
Nicky saw the opportunity to jump in and save you so she wasted no time. “Yes, but we were just heading out. Nice to meet you.”
She pulled on your arm lightly, but your eyes were still locked with Kiseok’s in a stare down. The thick tension could’ve suffocated you all until you finally felt the moisture building in the back of your eyes and brushed past them, stomping out of the steakhouse. Nicky followed quickly after you, but not before giving Kiseok the nastiest glare she could muster in two seconds.
Unbeknownst to you, Kiseok frowned as he watched you walk out. The pain in your eyes, behind the fury, made him lose his appetite almost as soon as he seen it. He sighed, running a hand through his hair.
Tumblr media
The drive home was silent and you would’ve teased Nicky since it was so unlike her to let a silence linger but you were in no mood.
Knuckles tight on the steering wheel, you were beginning to get a cramp. Letting a breath out that had your chest puffing, Nicky gave you a sad look before holding your free hand in hers to comfort you.
“Talk to me,” she began in a soft voice and you hated how it made tears spring in your eyes.
You shook your head and took another deep breath.
What was there to talk about? She had seen and heard exactly what you had. Kiseok out with his girlfriend or whatever that girl was to him, and him dismissing you as just an “acquaintance” when you knew damn well you were much more than that.
Your left hand tightened it’s grip. All those hundreds of texts, late night talks, laughing at rom-coms until 3AM, soft kisses...
It meant nothing.
Try as you might, you couldn’t stop the two tears that fell as you pulled up to a red light. Worried blue eyes scanned your face before she squeezed your hand in understanding.
There had never been a conversation of what exactly you two were but you had the impression that it was a Friends With Benefits type. It was only logical since you two had sex every time he came to see you. He crossed the thin line of lover and fuck buddy so many times it had your heart confused.
You cursed the organ to hell. How stupid did you have to be to fall head first into this when he had no emotional attachment to you? How fucking stupid did you have to be to have feelings when he only saw you as a booty call?
More tears spilled as you glared at the road in front of you.
Pretty fucking stupid.
When you parked in your apartments parking garage, you threw the gear into park too roughly to be considered normal. “There’s nothing to say.”
Nicky stared after you, choosing not to linger on the fact that your normally confident voice was shaking as much as your shoulders. She leaned over the center console and wrapped her arms around you.
Tumblr media
The week crawled by as far as you were concerned. As you expected, there were no calls or texts from Kiseok. After Tuesday came and went, you went ahead and blocked his number anyway. Nicky had hyped you about your decision, claiming you didn’t need that kind of negative vibes around you. The only highlight to your bleak routine was getting to talk and see Cookie on FaceTime.
She was having a great time with her father and you couldn’t be happier for them to be bonding. She always made sure to tell you every little detail about her day and where she went and your ex would send over the pictures he took that day so you were updated. On Friday, they were going to a magic show so she just got done telling you all about it.
“I love you, baby,” you blew kisses to her as she stuck her tongue out but said it back either way.
“I love you too, mommy!”
You smiled as the beep indicated the end of the call and you dropped your phone on the couch next to you. Nicky and another one of your coworkers had been over briefly as they tried to persuade you to come out with them.
Usually Nicky would be very forceful (like the first time you seen Simon) but, knowing you still weren’t in high spirits, she let you go this time. With a promise to call you tomorrow, the two were off for a night on the town.
A small part of you regretted staying in. You were young still, yet you were watching reruns of The Office while eating Chinese take-out at eleven on a Friday night. That same part of you wanted to go out just to prove to Kiseok that you could pull your fair share of hoes.
The more you thought of it, the angrier it made you. But it had been like that all week.
First, you’d be watching a romance movie that you absolutely hated and crying into your sweater. Next, you’d be just numb then finally the anger came back. Heartbreak was a terrible cycle and you hated going through it again.
Did he think you couldn’t get hoes? Because he’s surely mistaken!
Cuddling into the blanket, you pushed away that thought. Going to the club meant that you’d have to get out of the warmth of your home and that was a hard no.
It wasn’t for another hour until you felt your phone vibrating on the cushion next to you. You had a feeling it would be Nicky telling you to come get her drunk ass so when you grabbed it and noticed it was a number you haven’t saved in your phone, you took a few long seconds to answer it. Usually, you wouldn’t answer an unknown number but your finger hovered over the green button.
You were listed on quite a few people’s emergency contact so not answering it wasn’t really a good idea either.
“Hello?” Reaching over, you paused the show as you tried to ignore how fast your heart was beating. To whatever God was listening to you, you prayed that it wasn’t a hospital telling you Nicky was there, or worse, your daughter.
There was a long silence in which you were sure the caller hung up and even glanced to see the call still active before you said, “Nicky? Are you drunk again?”
A deep, hauntingly familiar breath exhaled. Your tight hold on the device was close to crushing the poor thing. This wasn’t Nicole.
“___...I’m outside. Can I come in?” Kiseok’s gravely voice came through your phone.
