Note: hello fellow fluff lovers, i’m so sorry i’ve been ia for 10 months i was focusing on finishing my final year for college. tbh creative writing isn't my strong point it’s more of a side hobby so please understand i won’t be updating regularly i’ll probably be posting more so when I'm bored and feel like it ahahaha. I do want to point out thanks to all those who liked my previous stories. I really do appreciate it it’s great motivation!! anywho this story was based on when i hurt my foot (it was a more gross story but still hurt like a bitch) i tried limping home but the entire time i wished someone would carry me and care for me the way jimin does in the ff (sad i know). i originally wanted it to be longer going into detail about Jimin’s backstory but i thought short and sweet was better SO ENJOY i hope you all like it :)

A warm sensation spreads through your body, engulfing you in a comforting embrace. You couldn't help but smile as a sense of contentment washed over you. The day had been a success. You followed every command and every instruction that your superiors had asked you to follow. Starting a new job was a challenging experience, one you hadn’t gone through before. The memory of your previous employment still haunts you, the echoes of your coworkers' voices reverberating in your mind as they berated you for the slightest of missteps. Not only was it stressful to deal with that every day, but you would also feel even more drained coming home after the endless regrets ran through your mind.

The more you worked at that god-awful place, the more your thoughts grew—were these issues truly insignificant, or were they looming large and you simply lacked the perspective to see them?

Your boyfriend, Jimin, was constantly begging you to quit the job since the sight of you so wrapped up in absolute guilt crushed him every day. Jimin only wanted what was best for you. The stubbornness he had over you was often a hard take but it was only ever going to be beneficial. As the begs increased in volume, your guilt scaled high, resulting in an endless cycle.

You knew you had to do it. Gathering yourself mentally and emotionally to utter those two liberating words took a great deal of courage.

"I quit."

You said it slightly quietly, still unsure. but you were stern about it with an attempt at a demeaning stare. In your head, you felt pretty confident with the way you delivered it, only to have that confidence descend with the sudden scoffs followed by the classic response, "Is that supposed to impress me?"

Perhaps Jimin was right. The testosterone in the room was unbearable at this point, and that slow, excruciating deterioration of your brain was just really not worth it. Staring back at your manager, you remained undeterred.

"I'll be handing in my notice tomorrow."

It was never worth creating an argument with your manager or anyone who lacked basic brain cells, in fact. That simple interaction only changed you for the better, and slowly but surely you felt you had a little more respect for yourself.

As you navigate the bustling street after your third shift, a palpable aura of rejuvenation surrounds you, causing your steps to take on a playful bounce. The faint aroma of coffee lingers on your clothes. The joy felt completely surreal, almost like time and space had been warped. Though the relentless bombardment of verbal abuse made your mind gradually deteriorate, it now made even the most challenging tasks a mere cakewalk.

The rain had been hammering down on the cafe windows for most of the day, so when you were met with the fortunate sun slowly peeking out from the clouds, you felt enveloped with its warmth, feeling it gradually filling your mind up with a little extra dose of serotonin.

Several metres or so away from your workplace, in a small back alley, you could smell the damp brick encroaching on your senses. Looking farther ahead, you saw the recent confrontation you were only slowly getting used to. It was amusing to you that a couple of steps were the only thing you had to worry about in your new day-to-day life. It was a sign that you were at least doing something right. You braced yourself for the steep steps that lay ahead while keeping in mind the wet, slick concrete.

And at that moment, the serotonin vanished. As the calmness of the moment dissipated, a surge of anxiety and adrenaline took over. Your heart plummeted as you failed to catch those final steps. Your foot barely brushes the step's edge. As you stumbled, your ankle gave way beneath you, sending you tumbling to the ground.

You squealed, trying not to make any noise, as a wave of pain shot from your foot up through your body when the weight followed.

"Ouch,"

You hissed in pain as you sat at the foot of the steps. Looking absolutely helpless. The surrealness seemed to slip away as the situation unfolded before your eyes. Your mind wandered in silence. As you glanced around, a wave of relief washed over you as you realised that no one had witnessed your mortifying disaster.

I'm fine. I'm fine. You managed to convince yourself that you could make it home since the distance to your house was less than a mile. I can limp; it's fine. You reached for the railing and attempted to pull yourself up, only to be reacquainted with the searing pain you'd felt before.

Fuck.

You personally don't like to worry excessively about pain and injuries because you've always considered it a waste of time to acknowledge the warnings your body gave you. As the numbness set in, you realised that the situation was far worse than you had initially thought. Your body lay still and unresponsive, leaving you with only your thoughts to keep you company.

Along with the overwhelming urge to get up and leave, you also had the nagging fear that someone could hear a small person yelping at the bottom of the steps and decide to make a huge deal out of it. You know one person, Jimin, who would take his time over an insignificant issue. He would be the one to hire a golden carriage and transport you in grandeur, as the conclusion to convincing you that you needed to rescue yourself from those said scary steps. That was the worst-case scenario in your mind. However, it reached the point where you would rather have him make this big of a deal than a complete stranger who would have thought you were weak, whereas Jimin was certain that you are not.

A soft, sad sigh escapes your lips as your hand instinctively reaches for the back pocket of your jeans. With fingers trembling in anticipation, you searched for Jimin's name. As you raised your phone to your ear, you sensed your heart rate accelerating. Your nerves were on edge, and you did not want to burden Jimin with any additional worries. Making Jimin anxious was punishment enough. Every day, catching a glimpse of Jimin's radiant smile was like a burst of sunshine, flooding your world with a second dose of serotonin. But the thought of not being able to bring that smile to his face or turn it into a beaming grin was gnawing at your insides.

"Hey, ___, I’m so sorry. I’ll be home soon! I’m just out with Namjoon and Hobi!" Jimins' amplified voice, together with the distant chatter in the background, echoed through the alleyway. "No, Jimin i-"

"It was just- Hobi wanted us to come see designs after work, and naturally we all piled into the bar! We are finishing up now!"

"Jimin, that's not why I'm calling…" You replied with a low tone.

"Huh?? Sorry babe, I can't hear you that well!" You chuckled to yourself at the agonising situation. Oh Jimin..

"Jimin, I fell.."

"Sorry, what was that??"

"I don’t know Jimin. I fell down these steps, and I can't get up. It's so embarrassing. I don't know what to do.."

"Shit. Stay there. I'm coming now. Where are you?" The way Jimin's entire demeanour shifts over the phone, it intimidates the hell out of you.

"I’m just outside that alleyway from my work... Do you know the one?"

"Yes, I do. I’ll be there in five minutes." And with that, Jimin ends the call.

"Fuck. That was my girlfriend. I’m so sorry guys, I have to go" Jimin, on the other hand, was shitting it. Hearing your frightened voice over the phone was enough for him to travel day and night to you.

"Is something wrong?" Namjoon asked, apprehensive. He'd only see Jimin's expression like this when something was seriously wrong.

"I'm not sure, I think she’s hurt. I'll see you guys soon." Jimin said, frantically stuffing all his things in his bag. "Aw, alright, I hope she’s okay," Hoseok chirped.

"I hope so too. Bye!!" And just like that, Jimin literally flew outside the bar door. Foot harsh on the pedal. On his way: to you.

You kept your eyes on the cracks along the walls, waiting for Jimin. In the end, a few people did come by, but you covered it up by sitting on the floor and talking on your phone, and they didn't seem to notice. It's currently quiet as the sun is descending. But eventually you could hear faint, sporadic panting in the distance. It was the said saviour of the day.

"___!! Oh my god, oh my god, are you okay?? What happened?!?" Jimin gasped, looking at you like a precious gem that had cracked.

"I’m alright, just a little stumble. But I can't stand up, and it’s annoying." With a faint chuckle, you replied. You looked up at him, hoping to see his gaze soften and persuade him that it wasn't such a major issue, but his anxious expression didn't fade.

Scrambling towards you, he examined your ankle carefully, gently touching it in the process.

"Hm, I’m not a doctor, but I think maybe you sprained it. We should go to the hospital." He announced it sincerely.

"NO. I mean- no Jimin, no hospital, please; it’s not a big deal."

"Are you sure? I mean, you said you couldn’t even stand up?" It was endearing that Jimin tried to convince you, but because you didn't want to feel even more embarrassed, you simply scowled at him and hoped he understood what you were trying to imply.

"Okay, okay, let’s go home then." Jimin let out a little giggle at your silliness. But he now knew it was time for him to take on the doctor role and oh how Jimin would take that role very seriously. "Right, I need to carry you to the car then, can you try and get on my back?"

Jimin crouched in front of you after turning around. You used your entire upper-body strength to push yourself onto Jimin's back by reaching for his shoulders. His arms came back around and supported you from behind before he stood up and repositioned you.

"You okay?" Jimin asks once again. "Yes. Thank you, Jimin."

You scoot closer to his back, not just so he can carry you, but also so you can embrace him. Jimin carefully made his way back up the steps and onto the busy street, attempting to find his way back to the car park. You felt embarrassed by the many stares so you cuddled your face closer into the back of Jimin's neck.

It felt safe there, and you could smell his perfume's mild flowery scent mingled with the peppermint notes of his shampoo. Oh, how he always smelled so good. You smiled into his neck and pecked him lightly. This elicited a slight chuckle from him.

Jimin gently places you in the passenger seat and carefully rearranges your legs. He tightens the seatbelt and ensures you're safe and secure. You glance up at him, speechless. After the manner in which he's been treating you, the decision to call him for assistance felt extremely justifiable. As your gaze lingers on Jimin, he catches your eye, and a soft chuckle escapes his lips once more.

"Is this okay?" Jimin asked with a grin. "Yes, Jimin, this is perfect." As your gaze met his, a rush of warmth flooded your heart. The way he looked at you with such tenderness and affection was a feeling beyond words. To have someone who cherished you so deeply was truly a gift beyond measure. A rosy hue crept up Jimin's cheeks, causing his smile to widen even further.

Closing your door and driving back to the house was quite quiet, but it also felt soothing and safe at the same time. Jimin carried you on his back once again while fumbling to retrieve his keys from his pocket to open the door. Making his way to the sofa, he plopped you down softly.

"Okay, wait there. Don't go anywhere; I’m going to find a bandage." You laughed and shook your head at his stupid yet endearing joke.

When Jimin returned 10 minutes later, he did not only return with a bandage but also with half the house. Blankets, pillows, comfy clothes, a big bowl of snacks, and on top, the said bandage. You couldn’t even see his concentrated face through the massive mountain of love.

Your laughs echoed throughout the room once again while Jimin dumped everything beside you. He then carefully helps you undress into your loungewear and, following a YouTube tutorial, attempts to wrap the bandage around your foot. Watching him all focused on you made your heart flip around the room. He is so adorable.

"Okay, I think that’s good. Now do you want a pillow under your foot as well?" Jimin asked you politely. "I think it’s alright like this." You look at him, smiling.

"Hm, scratch that, I’m getting you a pillow."

When Jimin returns from getting a pillow, he gently lifts your feet to place it beneath them. He then throws various fluffy blankets over you while tucking in the sides, making sure once again that you don’t go anywhere. Looking back at you, he moves in close, giving you a soft peck on your forehead. With a mischievous glint in his eye, he momentarily retreats before leaning back in, peppering your face with a flurry of playful kisses. The two of you erupt into a fit of uncontrollable laughter, your heads thrown back in pure love and joy.

"Now what should I put on the TV for you?" Jimin sits beside you after grabbing the TV remote. "Anything I don’t mind."

Jimin then proceeds to put on your favourite film. Pressing play; he looks at you with a soft smile. "Please be more careful; I hate seeing you hurt like this." He pats your head gently while wrapping his arm around you.

"I’ll try not to Jimin ''. You say as you move closer to him, resting your head on his chest.

Paying close attention to the rest of the movie, your sixth sense tells you Jimin isn't watching it at all; he's staring at your ankle, hoping nothing will hurt it any further.

Jikook Travel Show + Solo Music Timeline Theory

Alright so I’m slowly losing my mind in the current fandom environment + I think this Jikook drought is starting to mess with my brain so I’m going to share my delusional and increasingly desperate timeline for the Jikook show + their solo music. It’s mostly baseless and probably inaccurate BUT I think it could make a LITTLE sense…

So it looks like they built a mini era for Taehyung and Fri(end)s around the extra content he prepared before enlistment. I actually told someone I thought all the small content drops were building up to a bigger project — AND I WAS RIGHT — so this totally validated my baseless theory and here’s what I’m thinking.

I wonder if they’re going to use the travel show as promotional content for Jikook and build a mini era around it like they did with Fri(end)s. I think this would be an especially good idea considering Jimin mentioned he wasn’t able to prepare as much as he wanted before enlistment. I’m assuming maybe he wasn’t able to film a lot of extra content outside of his music and MV (especially based on iirc THs(?) quality over quantity comment).

But that’s okay! Jikook can’t go on any variety shows to promote but they actually have a whole variety show of their own they could use to promote themselves instead! It would definitely make Jimin and Jungkook trend (at least within the fandom) and put them somewhat in the public eye. I think it’s also the perfect content to bring a portion of ia & casual fans back who would then be able to catch their music announcements easier (which is one of the points of promoting).

BH could be saving the show for a content gap considering it’s not really time sensitive, but I still think it would be smarter of them to make the most out of the show and let it serve multiple purposes and promote Jikook. They don't have a lot to work with, so they should make the most out of every piece of content they have imo.

Point two - I could see them using it for FESTA as well. Obviously Jin returning is going to be the big huge mega amazing FESTA event, but I’m wondering if they’re going to want to have some extra content for ARMYs to consume. It would make it so Jin wouldn’t have the entirety of FESTA resting on his shoulders either. So if they don't have something else already prepared, the travel show would work great.

AFAIK it’s the first proper unit project in CH2 and it’s going to definitely have some OT7 vibes. I’m sure Jikook are going to talk about the group, missing the other members, what they want to do when they’re all back together — stuff like that. The other members might even make cameos (YG talked to them on the phone when they were in NY, I’d be surprised if they didn’t video call TH at some point, and there’s always the possibility that vminkook filmed something together in Jeju).

It’ll probably also be a bit nostalgic for everyone who misses BV and ITS and might have some throwbacks to previous BTS vacations — which is perfect for FESTA month! I think with BTS being ia it would be smart to cater to ARMYs who are probably going to be especially emotional and missing BTS as well as remind those who have started to drift of that bond and partial OT7 dynamic that drew many in to begin with. I think this sort of content has been something ARMYs have been really deprived of so it’s definitely going to be a big deal imho. It’s the most CH1 like content we’re getting so far in CH2.

If they don’t release the show during June, I could still see them dropping the teasers/trailer during FESTA. That alone would bring a lot of excitement and hype and add to the festivities and would be a great time to advertise the show.

Also, Jikook described it as a gift, and FESTA is the perfect time for those so…

If they don’t release it for FESTA (or possibly just tease it) I still think it makes a lot of sense as a summer release for several reasons.

For one, the first part of the show was recorded right when JK released Seven. We know that JK is likely releasing more music this summer so that would actually tie in perfectly. One of my biggest desires for the show is to hear them talk a little bit about their thoughts and feelings on their solos careers (unrealistic I know lmao) but if they reference that at all, it ties even better into new music releases. Especially if they reference or talk about Seven right before JK releases another summer single (or album) around the same time period. It works really well for either of them tbh!

The first half of the show is also going to have summery vibes because of when it was recorded, so releasing during the summer is sort of fitting. This is also the sort of content I think we historically got around summer/fall?

So all of this suggests a possible timeline where we get both Jikook’s music and their show in the same possibly 2-3 month time period around the summer. Fri(end)s only had a two week gap between HOTS so we know they aren’t worried about spacing these projects too far from each other, however I would hope they’d have more sense then to have Jikook’s music overlap or be too close together 😭 I don’t think we could handle the akgae wars if that happened 😭

Anyways, we know for sure that JK is dropping something in the summer based on his comment during his live (he might just have been referencing the show, but I’m pretty sure most of us took it to mean music). But as far as Jimin, we don’t really have any hints about when his music is dropping that I’m aware of unfortunately? But I could see summer making a lot of sense actually!

I can’t remember the exact wording he used but I remember him telling ARMYs that his next release would be something lighter. And during his documentary screening he listed out all the things that he knows ARMYs would like to see from him. I think if he’s going for something lighter that caters more towards ARMYs interests and expectations summer would be a very smart and fitting month to release (and it depends on how he wants to market and promote it — are we going for charts with remixes, or is it going to be just one version no CDs kind of deal — because if it’s the prior, summer would fit better imo).

Anyways, we also do know Jimin filmed something at the hot springs… and I mean… water… wet… hot springs… (shirtless??)... I mean… that could be pretty summery actually right? 🥵

Still he could land in May or September (I don’t think it’s going to be as late as October but possibly. They could tie it into his birthday and if JK released in August it would still fit the travel show theory).

I think this theory also makes sense because the way they were talking in that live before enlistment they sort of made it sound like their content was to tide us over until Jin was back. Obviously there’s no way for the three remaining members to release their projects before Jin returns (nor would that even make a lot of sense to begin with) but if you think of it as them keeping us busy until Jin has time to prepare his album it works actually!

Jin is going to need time to prepare and record his album, MV, and whatever other promotional content he had in mind + probably rest a little. This gives him that time while keeping ARMYs busy, and you know this is just a nice big free gap of time to drop projects whereas when Jin is active (and then JH) it’ll be a bit busier and probably more complicated to organize.

It also would work because JH definitely has plans for when he gets out of the military, so by the time JN1 comes out and has been promoted (maybe he’ll even do a single first and then an album) JH will be back and have had some time to rest and probably prepare whatever he had in mind. Some people have speculated that he might do a mini tour which actually would fit perfectly but I’m not sure how much of a stretch that is. If anyone could do it though, it would be JH!

So yeah, enlisted members all releasing and finishing off their big projects pre-JN1 just makes sense as 2seok will then take over and have the attention on them. I could be wrong, but it kind of fits nicely in my mind lol.

The big question mark is Namjoon because honestly I thought he would be one of the first members to release with the way he was teasing something but now I have no clue. He also said that it was going to have different vibes than indigo iirc so I don't know if he would want to release in the fall/winter months again or if he would actually want to go for a summer release too. I still think the Jikook thing could work even if he releases in summer, it might just shift Jimin to releasing more in the fall.

Anyways, first few months of 2024 we were in Taehyung era, which led into HOTS era which will last until May, which leads into June FESTA and Jin’s return. JK will have an era in the summer, and if we slot minimoni into summer & early fall it would pretty much perfectly cover all of the empty time until JN1 which is followed by JH return and project. I just think it fits nicely.

That still leaves a lot of space in 2025 but I think that would be better for 2seok to cover, and if the JH tour rumors are true that would actually be perfect (please don’t make me wait until 2025 for Jimin 😫).

Like I know this timeline isn’t actually surprising or revolutionary because most people kind of expected all of this to drop in these months lmao because it’s not like there’s actually a ton of time left, but applying some sort of logic around it helped me I guess 😞 All the uncertainty makes it seem like I’m never going to see Jimin again (at least we know JK in the summer) and I need to gaslight myself into having some sort of expectations otherwise every day is too dark.

Hoping some of this is right but don't come @ me if it's not lol 🤡😩

IA with your two cents post. I felt the same when Suga & Jk were talking & downplayed it as if Jm flew to NY to be with Jk for a drink & had to mention Jm called him. I don't think Jk was prepared for Suga to bring it up & did his best to address it since it was also a private vacation & knows how guarded Jm's become about their relationship & would ring his neck. I just find it funny cause Jk knew, we knew he was begging for alone time with Jm & instead of saying how special it was Jm came to be with him during his solo debut release week, he diverted. Dude, it's not that serious that a bandmate came to see you, so why you making excuses instead of saying you're happy & grateful he came, instead? Unless.

Controversial opinion, but I also feel at times members can be a hindrance more than protectors when it comes to Jikook's relationship esp when they intervene, downplay things on Jikook's behalf or when it comes to their own ships they also like to play into. Like Suga's comment about Yoonmin's reputation to Jimin, knowing Jimin said he doesn't like fanservice & has a man. Tae with both Jikook, more so Jk & Jk does let it happen & even does his own share, while Jimin tends to stick with his boundaries. I'm sure they feel since they're family, its no harm. It does harm tho, cause no matter how unbothered Jikook are, at the end of the day they can't defend their relationship when haters get out of control, even if they wanted too. Like Tae reposting that Tk account which turned out to be a creepy, delusional Jikook hater. It got Jk & Jm dragged when they had nothing to do with it. Jikook don't have the privilege of being able to go out & walk holding hands in Paris, to publicly defend their relationship/partner & members know that. Then again Jikook downplay their relationship. Which they're allowed, but sadly its used against them. As frustrating as it tho, Jikook seems fine with it. Keyword "seems". I accept it, but I can't help but still feel sorry for them when they get caught in the crossfire, you know. * SIGH *

Me anytime army discourse appears on my tl: Armys are so cooked 🫢

Jimin is actually popular. It's not an illusion, it's not bots. He genuinely has organic impact. He's more popular than rapline, more popular than most of kpopies fave groups, more popular than Jin, post-face I'd say he's arguably as popular as JK or Tae.

So let me know if I'm being delusional but I've started to feel recently that the fact that big army accounts and his company keep shading him or othering him has stopped affecting him and has instead just increased negativity towards the label and said big army accounts. Because many armys are cultish but like I said Jimin is popular. Atleast a few of them are slooooowly seeing the light and seeing all of it for what it is.

In spite of his many antis, Jimin's numbers are still pretty great and they're great because of fans not payola. Meanwhile the rest of them are either out of the picture completely or literally being kept afloat by their big playlists, remixes and constant restocks. Armys too are in terrible shape - I know there was infighting before but things are really bad nowadays. Them constantly platforming these low-key Jimin antis is backfiring on them because those guys suck. There was a surge of community after the four of them had enlisted but that's gone now too and I'm not surprised more and more people are going ia.

Is this karma? Too early to say but I hope so.

If Jimin didn’t seem “arguably” as popular as th and jk before, it’s because the online hate probably made it seem like he wasn’t. Tangibly, he’s always had the best results out the 3 prior to chapter 2 and he’s always been the most impactful without a doubt. He’s also objectively more popular than any other idol outside of bts that’s a hard ass fact lol.) But tbh, jimin being othered hasn’t really ever affected him success wise though, it’s mainly how people misconstrue him that impacts him negatively.

I agree that some armys (even though most of them are jimin biased) are seeing the fandom and label for what they are, but they’re minuscule compared to the rest of the fandom who don’t see anything wrong with how jimin’s being treated. Outside of that, any increased persecution of these accounts is definitely from pjms not letting them get away with the disrespect and being loud about it. That’s why I’d say the only way armys endorsing these anti jimin big shooter accounts is backfiring on them is that it’s making them lose genuine armys to solo stanning but negative for them plus for us.

LMAOOO friend, Yoongi comes out a couple times a year since their debut years (from saying his type isn't limited to women and even describing the type of man he would want, which macho, manly and with a beard lol) and the fandom still likes to pretend he is "just joking" or it's "translation errors" 😂 because of course. I have 3 posts about all of Yoongis queer/rainbow moments already where he is talking about it or wearing pride stuff. Which I'll link here:

Any idea what Brand Reputation is based on ?

Jimin has been topping it continuesly for years now. Even when he's so active with album, less active or completely ia. He was doing nothing public during end of last year, not even posting a pic on sm still he was topping reputation chart. The only times someone else topped him recently was 1) Jin during TA 2)JK during dreamers. Rest always, it's JM on top. Only BG chart- JM is on top, BG-GG chart - JM on top again. In SK it's NOT easy to surpass female idols and JM has been doing it continuously. Surpassing all IT girls of all generations.

Also I'm so surprised why JK is not in top 3/5 when he had his CK campaign came last month and made lot of waves.

Brand reputation is just that, brand reputation. Its about who's the cleanest. Who has the least scandals, the least amount of drama surrounding them. Least problematic.

He was in a dating scandal gone horribly wrong. He was in a covid scandal. He goes against the company all the time. He gets told not to go live, he goes live. He's told not to drink live. He does the opposite and then says "what are they gonna do, fire me?" We love him and his unapologetic behaviour but, JK is not toping brand reputation anytime soon 😂😂 That's why he rates so low.

I used to confuse Brand reputation and sell out King too. They're not the same. Brand reputation Jimin is always first. Sell out King, our favourite couple interchanges. They are always number 1 and 2. If JK is number 1, Jimin is number 2 and vice versa.

Anon in ask 1, it’s funny you say that because Hoseok actually fucks me up more than Jimin does. I almost never really talk about Hobi because I’m literally unable to. Just like you. And I think everyone who really sees what he is, ends up just as speechless.

Anon in ask 2, my standout songs from the album so far are What If (remix), I wonder, I Don’t Know (that French monologue intro and Yunjin’s vocals plus Hobi’s sickening flow elevate this song into pure magic), and of course Neuron. It’s the anthemic homage to his dance roots that we knew was coming, and it’s filled with so many heart-tugging references, but still it hits hard with every listen.

Hobi has done so well putting this album together, especially given he did it all before he enlisted last year. His work ethic, music taste, and artistic vision, impress me every time. It’s always worth the wait when it comes to anything Hobi works on.

Between this release, the documentary, the Enhypen Seeb remix, and BND tracklist release, I’ve got my hands and ears full in between handling a full work load over the next couple days so I might be IA. I hope y’all can enjoy this project at your own pace to your heart’s content (especially you Anon in ask 3).

The tkk community changed a lot in the last 2 years, imo.

Before, it was basically ot7 people that most had them also as bias, but we would also see ppl that bias other members around (Yoongi biased were very common).

Now, they are basically OT2 or even solos that do believe they are together, but don't actually like this fact.

With solo works and the difference in threatening, a lot of Tae stans turned into solos (they were basically ot7) and dropped JK/Tkk.

I also knew a few Jimin stans that got tired of tkkrs shitting on Jimin every day and stopped shipping or at least interacting with tkkrs.

As you said, the fandom is in a weird place right now. It needs a cleansing, imo. Too many toxic solos/shippers/y/n.

I always find it hard to say much about the state of fandom (though my general opinion on it is that it’s very fractured atm). It’s hard for me to deduce the distribution of Tkkrs, Jkkrs, solos, etc amongst the entire fandom. I think no-one is actually able to do that. You need a total overview of fandom for that, and it’s just not doable. We always tend to listen to the loudest voices, who aren’t necessarily representing the whole.

Having said that. I do see a lot of hate going around from all sides. It’s an odd thing to me. Not one of the members has done stuff that deserves hate, and yet they get it. I understand not liking a person. Jm-luke-warm-anon and I might not agree, but I can at least understand that someone isn’t your cup of tea. There’s plenty of people I don’t like.. it’s also very easy for me to just not go there. Hate is a strong feeling. A feeling I reserve for people who deserve it, because they have actually done harm. Members don’t deserve hate for talking about each other, for doing better in the charts, for breathing.. and that is the crazy thing that this fandom has become.

It often feels as though the angry fans lose a bit of the connection they have with their bias. None of the members would want their fans to talk badly about another member and yet there are those fans who will obliterate a member in the name of their bias. It astounds me.

Well.. I went on a bit of a general rant there I’m afraid. To come back to Tkk fandom a bit. I think many will leave during the next year (but I also think plenty will return when BTS reunites). We could already see a bit of a rift forming last year, and no actual Tkk moment for a year and a half ia probably going to mean that many get bored, or doubtful. It’s fine really.. Tae and Jk don’t need us to stick around.. and to me that is actually a very comforting thought.

I feel I was a bit all over the place here. But yeah.. fandom is weird right now.

Do you really think that jk is involved with jimin romantically....and not just a friend who knows his one band member or a good friend is secretly/closeted gay or bi..so he chose to always tease him by flirting with him??? Jk sometimes looks like that type of friend to me who knows jimin is interested in men... so he chose to always tease him and we all think by his teasing and flirting that they're a couple. Because If u just take jimin out of the picture and then notice jungkook...and only jungkook...he really looks just a normal straight dude...and he mostly behaves like this with jimin too when he doesn't give in.. in the flirting and teasing. Without jimin existing...jk doesn't even look like a guy who is interested in men romantically at all. When he even compliments other men...like when he did for joon's thighs... It never looks like he's interested in them..it always seems like he wants that type of body too. I remember his words when hobi wore a skirt...he said hobi was making him crazy bcz the skirt was too short...but the thing is...even when hobi was the one who was wearing it (a man)...he still chose the words "she" while saying it. "She is seducing me". When it's clearly hobi. This type of small things always and always shows something different about him..which suggests that he's straight but shy and interested romantically only in women. It's only just when jimin is around that it looks sometimes that he was flirting with him but even then mostly.. it looks normal too when he doesn't even acknowledge jm at all. So i think he's just a friend who knows a secret about a friend with whom he shares a very close friendship with and chooses to always tease him when he wants. Not a relationship.

You and I are both entitled to think differently. So to answer your question at the very beginning… Yes, I think it a high likelihood that is true BUT I leave room for uncertainty. Do I need to argue with random people trying to convince me otherwise? No. Keep thinking how you want.

However, I need to address two things in your ask.

1. You state “he still chose the words “she” while saying it…..this type of small things shows something different about him..which suggests that he’s straight.”

My counter is you are basing your whole argument on an English translation of his words. Did you know there is no gender specific pronouns in Korean? They don’t say she or he. They have words that they use for she or he but only when translating from English. JKs actual words in Korean do not say she. Just that he was being seduced… which was clearly meant in jest.

2. Your words are hurtful to the LGBTQ-IA community. Did you notice your use of the word “normal” before straight guy? Also, when you said “he looks normal too when he doesn’t acknowledge JM.” What’s normal? Do you get to decide that? Because everyone of the folks who are members of the LGBTQ-IA community are also normal. Don’t use that word to describe straight behavior. Just describe a person as straight or heterosexual. No need to add any qualifier to it.

One last thing…you trying to explain his behavior as teasing but only with JM is kinda the point. JM does appear to be special.
