My Version Of Blaze Of Glory

Comments, likes and reblogs are allowed 👍 (the comic start when Rozetta crying and end when Louis is relaxing).

Special thanks to @sandys16world for the beautifuls drawings 💕.

For this scene I got inspired by a comic of @moringmark.

This comic is a scene from my fanfiction of my version of Blaze Of Glory, Rozetta can say what she thinks about her mother 😉 (Denise's reaction 😂, she deserve it!).

Littles details in case someone gets confused or doesn't understand: 1-Rozetta and Emilio in my AU are a couple.

2-David (he became chief of police in my AU and never had an eyepatch) and Heaven are in the Seabrook house living room with Rupert, Gloria, Ramirez and some dome members (Elaine, Rupert, Juniper, Barb and Wendy are alive in my AU).

3-Rita doesn't die and allies with Otto and the three Neohumans (whom I called Gene, Hunter and Aspen seeing them as triplets).

4-Nathan is alive in my AU and made peace with Kit (but in the zoo scene Nathan is not present because he was captured by Jackson Peacock, who became Denise's ally).

5-Zachary has been released from prison and is a University student, Cindy and Mason are still alive, Vicky is alive too but she is not present in the scene because she was captured by Coach Kirk (who became Denise's ally), Julian never k1lled Freddy and had a normal life and good relationship with his schoolmates and teachers (his father is alive and well).

6-Martine never returned to Paris, while Grace returned to Grimsborough and became her assistant (Cathy's reaction 😂).

7-the two Aloki children are Kai and Dakota (the names I decided for Delsin Peota's children) the newborn that the little girl is holding is Delsin Jones (David's and Heaven's son) notice Alex covers baby Sammy's ears 🤣.

8-Chris, Julia and Joe are alive but the first two are in the hospital after being attacked by the Neohumans enemies and Joe is watching them.

09-Louis is alive but serving his sentence (Zoe too is alive and is with the civilians in the cave).

X Files: Fate or Free Will -- I would LOVE to hear your thoughts on that, I have been thinking about that a lot lately myself. One of the most interesting things.

I believe the show as written by Chris Carter is about fate-- Mulder and Scully, the inevitability of their quest, the battle that is ever greater and greater, bigger and bigger. The mytharc established that in Paper Clip, and carried it up through Essence and Existence (which: love S8, hate how the mytharc developed/fell apart) and beyond.

And I believe the show as discussed in MOTW episodes is about freewill: Mulder and Scully choose each other (despite being fated to be together, platonically or romantically), they choose the quest, they choose between right and wrong in their day-to-day actions, cases, lives, etc.

The longer the OG mytharc ran, the more disconnect I found between these two messages. On the one hand, CC continued talking fate through either CSM or Mulder's mouth; on the other, Mulder rejects fate in Monday while CSM still spouts it whenever he shows up. Fate became a tool not to help the heroes-- the villains can't win ala Jeremiah Smith's soliloquy in Talitha Cumi-- but as a suppression of choice and hope (started in Biogenesis, retuned in Requiem, vanquished in Season 8, resurfaced to destroy everything in Season 9, etc.)

Essence particularly focuses in on Chris's vision, with Mulder spouting that the aliens fear Scully's baby "proves the existence of God." Stupidity of that statement aside, Chris then-- in a way-- tries to end the season on a note that bridges both viewpoints: William wasn't what the aliens expected but "that doesn't make him any less of a miracle, does it?" Then S9 destroys the middle ground with William's adoption to buffalo country and Mulder and Scully running from the law on their dark, tortured, fated quest.

I think the greatest example of this philosophy is the Biogenesis-The Sixth Extinction arc: really, what was the purpose of that arc? To give Mulder godlike powers, to force Scully to face a Truth greater than her beliefs, and to push them back together with knowledge about "the bigger picture", stronger than ever, on their fated mission together. However, David Duchovny salvaged it: he focused in on Mulder's choices: the ones Mulder suppresses in his vision, the one that his conscience (Scully) pushes him towards, the one he makes at the end by supporting Scully's fragile faith and by putting aside the "bigger" implications to focus on them.

I posit the show is built on a fate the characters continually break: Mulder and Scully were fated to fight the forces that be, but they choose each other over "the truth" or "the answer to everything"-- in fact, they become each other's answer to everything. Chris Carter script believes in fate and bad things happening to good people; but he eagerly gives space for his writers to give Samantha a choice to become starlight, Scully a choice to save and accept her daughter's death, a choice for Mulder to live another life in another world but choose his own, etc.

When there isn't freewill, CC's characters become lost in allegory and metaphor; and when there isn't fate, Mulder and Scully's choices lose the searing potency that draws audiences into their decisions and actions decades later.

Overall, it's a balancing game, I think.

Fun facts about Jeremiah that you didn’t ask for but ima give them to you anyway ⚠️TW: Drug abuse⚠️

Jeremiah is the twin of Jenesis and younger brother of Messiah.

He is such a jokester and will play pranks on you any chance he gets. He’s also a blerd 🤓

Had low self esteem in high school so he decided to hit the gym to try and bulk up a bit. Unfortunately he still has low self esteem even tho he can get any woman he wants.

Graduated High school with honors.

Being in the gym became more of an addiction hobby and now he can’t stay out of it.

His first love Molly Prescott (and baby mama) became addicted to drugs thanks to Messiah.

The court would not let Jeremiah have full custody of Zayden even with evidence of Molly being unfit to take care of him. ( Because they knew about Kane’s illegal activities)

Jeremiah’s second baby mama, Tameka, purposely got pregnant because she knew he had money. Tameka asked Jeremiah to marry her because she was pregnant. Jeremiah told her no and now she wants nothing to do with their son.

He is currently engaged to his Sister’s best friend Rashidah. They have three kids together and are actually in an open relationship. They both agreed to it.

Jeremiah has a bit of a weed addiction.

Is getting ready to open up his own gym.

Plans on taking over his father’s business (not the restaurants 🤫)

Visiting Jeremiah at his job at the Club was one of your favorite things. Sure it was annoying seeing all those girls drooling over him, but it made you smile when he declined their flirtatious attempts, because you knew he was yours.

Today was one of those days. As soon as Jere saw you approaching the pool, he waved, and jumped down from his post, and ran over to you. "eager to see me? " you asked, wiggling your eyebrows. He chuckled lifting you in the air & spinning you around. You were wearing these big mirror sunglasses, and a dress covering your bikini.

"Hey, i'm still on my shift but when it's over, you and I are gonna have some fun" he said, poking you in the side, earning a giggle from you.

"Okay, ill be waiting " you said poking him right back in the side. "imma chat with steven at the snack bar" you said beginning to walk off.

When he responds, "you mean bug him at the snack bar?" and walks back to his post. You roll your eyes and head for Steven.

"if it isnt little mis y/n" Steven asks when you aproach.

"ha ha" you laugh half heartedly, "lemonade, Steven" you demqan more than ask.

"what's the magic word?" he asks, smiling, knowing that it bugs you.

"please" you sigh, steven raises an eyebrow, giving you 'and what else' look. "pretty please with a cherry on top" you say giving him your prettiest fake smile. And while the two of you were teasingly bickering with each other, Gigi was making her way over to your man in the pool.

"Hey, Jeremiah" Gigi swims over to Jeremiah.

"Hey Gigi" Jeremiah returns the smile.

"I didn't know you were working here this summer" Gigi starts flirting.

Jere ignores her statement, and blows his whistle "Billy no choking! all right?" you know he must have been talking to billy & carter, he complained about them on a daily basis.

"Jeremiah, aren't you gonna save me?" Gigi tries flirting again, capturing Jere's attention. At the sound of this you turn you head their direction, Jere surely knew she was flirting with him, right?

He gave her a smile, like he was contemplating her offer, with made your stomach swirl with jealousy. Steven notices your attention on the two, "She has been flirting with him ALL summer, surprised he hasn't gone for it yet, he's been ignoring her like she's a bag of fleas or somethin'" Steven chuckles. That comment didn't ease your stomach as well as you had hoped, you started walking back over to the pool, since Steven was being called away.

Neither of them saw you walking over, "so you got a girlfriend or something, Jere Bear? " Gigi asks Jeremiah, and god how you hated that she was calling him that.

"I do, actually" Jeremiah responded smiling at the thought of you, making him look over at you, noticing you were approaching.

"Oh what a shame" Gigi fake pouts, "we could have so SO much fun together." she smirks, biting her lip, looking up at him.

You swore your face turned red, angry & jealousy swirling in your stomach, gosh why is Gigi such a bitch you thought.

Jeremiah chuckled uncomfortably. "Uh, yeah." Jeremiah looked in your direction, seeing you walk over, he flashes a smile.

"well-" Gigi starts again, to flirt again.

At this point you were sick of it, "Hey Jeremiah" you exclaimed. You took Jeremiah by his lanyard, pulled him down and kissed him. You kissed him passionately, your jealousy fueling your passion. Your other hand is wrapped around his neck, pulling him closer, as you slipped your tongue slipped past his lips, down his throat. Jere slipped off his chair and wrapped his hand around your waist. The shock on his face was wearing off. You only broke apart for air. Gig coughed "ahem"

Your head swiveled around, your arm sliding down from his neck, to rest on his bicep. "Oh, I'm sorry, are we bothering you?" You asked with fake sympathy failing to withhold a smirk.

"i- I uh, so your the girlfriend huh?" Gigi chuckles nervously.

"Yes I am" you smile proudly. Planting a kiss on Jere's lips then one on his neck then his bicep. Leaving your boyfriend a blushing mess. Making sure she knew, actually everyone knew Jeremiah Fisher was yours, your man, your love.
